Just for this board, image duplicates are enabled and the bump limits are set extra high. Roleplaying is encouraged, unless event hosts ask otherwise.

This was something I was considering hosting. Talked a bit about it in the Mr. /co/ afterparty threads so here's a thread here to talk more about it.

>What is it?
A cartoon awards competition for shows and movies that debuted in 2021. Anons can discuss their favorite /co/ media of the year, and which shows they believe deserve recognition. The main goal of this competition is to encourage critical discussion. Have fun with it and don't take too much merit in the results. For fans of less popular shows this is a chance to introduce your cartoon to more people and grow its audience.

The main changes from the pic in the OP are:

It's just a better way to split things up. Ideally you want the lower awards to be more specific and the main awards to be more broad (compare best soundtrack to best song for example). That way the discussion builds up to what shows and films did everything somewhat well.

For some odd fucking reason, a few images are not showing up for me. Not even when I look for it in the tags.

Yet when I tried to upload an image that I noticed was missing, the booru gave me the "Sorry, that image is already here". And sure enough when I clicked the blue here, the image shows up for me.

Uploading the dupe images and clicking the "here" afterwards is the only way I can see them.

I've grown used to it after stuff with King /v/ and Tag Team. It helps to realize that many of the people complaining about how slow stuff is and rigging would probably have a mental breakdown if they tried to run a tourney themselves.

There's a "Navigator" on the top right (on mobiles, top center) that you can use to update, it can be dragged around anywhere you like (on mobiles it's fixed). If you don't see it, try to delete your browser cache.

You can also check the very bottom of the page which also has an update thread button, both do the same.
The updater only shows up on threads. Maybe I should change it so it shows up on the index/catalog too, just without the updates (rebuilding those pages would take a bit more effort)
