It's a shame that Shrek was up against Grim who apparently the silent majority fucking loved. Farquaad's loss was because Spider-Man was the last comic book character standing (besides Max) and all the comicbros were worried that the tourney was being dominated by cartoon characters so they pushed for him. Not that it mattered because Peter jobbed hard to Carl.

Then that narrows it down to Waluigi and Farquaad. The latter could pull it off, but it would be more likely for him to want it to happen so he can show off. There's also how Waluigi has the motivation to kill Samaritanon after he jobbed in round 1 of Co-op by one vote, so I'm accusing him of killing Samaritanon.

Hey everyone. Sorry for disappearing for a while, but rest assured I am still alive and interested in doing this.

Since /v/ anons seem more active than /co/ at the moment, I would like to begin with them, all the while gathering interest on /co/ via stealth threads. For now, I would like to try running Heroes of /v/ some time close to the middle of June. The /co/ tournaments will probably wait until late July or August unless there is significant interest.

I also wrote the FAQ that hopefully answers most of your potential questions about the tournaments: https://pastebin.com/KRWSTccQ

There are legitimately Invader Zim fans who debate endlessly whether Dib or Zim is the villain, and whether Dib or Zim is the protagonist. So either way this is going to be messy.

Zim is the protagonist of some episodes(The Nightmare Begins, Bestest Friend), Dib is the protagonist of some episodes(Battle Dib, Balognaus Maximus). And while Zim is usually considered the 'bad guy' in show, he's also extremely inept and Dib can be pretty morally questionable at times himself.

Hell, in the Nicktoons Unite games, Zim is put on the heroes team and Dib on the villains team(though in universe it's because Zim lied to the main heroes and told them he was just a misunderstood explorer and Dib was a bigoted alien hunter or something, and SpongeBob/Jimmy/Timmy all believed him and told Dib 'shame on you' so he sided with the villains to go against Zim.)

I WOULD say that still makes Dib the hero, but that would also mean he was perfectly fine aiding Plankton/Crocker/Vlad/BeatifulGorgeous with their schemes if it meant a chance to kill Zim, which isn't exactly hero behavior

Literally every SpongeBob character has been the antagonist in at least one episode. SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy, all have a hand full of antagonist episodes. I would not call them villains.

The argument hinges partially on the Protagonist/Antagonist debate, partially on the Nicktoons games setting Zim as the hero and Dib as the villain, and partially on Dib being a selfish narcissist with a hero complex who has hurt a ton of innocent people in pursuit of his goals.

Doesn't change the fact Dib openly worked with and helped the villains once the heroes accepted Zim. In exchange for getting a shot at Zim he was fine helping Crocker, Calamitous, Vlad, Beautiful Gorgeous, and Plankton with their goals

This, Dib isn't a good person, he's selfish as crap. Zim is too incompetent to actually hurt anyone.

I've actually heard people argue they're both about morally equivalent, both selfish jerks looking for approval from people who don't care about them and willing to hurt others to get it

The plan is to nominate all four of them just in case at least one or two of them get the most votes during the qualifying round and re-nominate the ones with the fewer votes for future tournaments. Due to the fact that their series is pretty obscure (just like you said), putting only one BSC girl would make it unlikely to succeed as they're mostly known within the storytelling part of /co/ so take this as a gamble of sort.

Besides, I nominated like ten characters for Villains of /v/ and only five of them got in. So this isn't my first time campaigning lots of mains for myself

The nominations for Heroes will start two hours earlier than usual, at 5 PM on the 28th. I'm working on my speed, but there is still a chance of a delay between Qualifiers and Round One. This is to make up for that delay so that Round One can start at the normal time or at least only a little bit later.

As long as there is no GR15 on plus4chan, I wouldn't mind allowing ponies in. Same goes for Homestuck. They'll be three-ruled just like everyone else. Mordecai & Rigby (seen a bit of Regular Show, not the best characters from it but they're cool), Donkey (he's ass), Sid ("eh" is all that comes to mind), Puss-in-Boots (I like cats and he's cool, I guess), Edith (seems like a weirdly specific pick, but I'm not one to talk), Sulley (a classic movie, he's cool enough), Alex (same as Sulley) and Tigger (no comment).
I'm very much a video game fan, cartoons and comics aren't something that I really interact with these day, apart from webcomics or the occasional YouTube cartoon; so that's why I can't really say much about these at face value, but this means my opinion will simply be swayed by how they are in the tournament.
My choices of "heroes" are pretty fucking weird and/or stupid, I'm going to copy you and make something like this for mine.

Alright, here's my nominations for Heroes of /co/, separated into groups. Let me talk about each group and character.

>Comics
I like comics, especially French ones. I don't really read actual ones anymore, but I still see webcomics quite often (ones of the few good threads on /v/). For the characters, Asterix is my favourite /co/-related character easily, I love the comics, cartoons and movies. Of course, Obelix is close second and they're an obvious choice for /co/ tourneys for me. Last character, Lucky Luke, is here for the same reasons as the other two; love the stuff, just not as much.
>Cartoons
I don't really watch TV anymore, but I still remember some of the things I did watch. First character is Thoren, from something that I hope still plays every Christmas time; it's simply a cozy show. Second is Sagwa, I liked her show, but I mostly fondly remember playing a flash game of it; loved it, I wonder if it has become lost media at this point... Lastly, Chudd Chudders, because I remember Skatoony and what is a quiz show but a tournament? He's fitting and funny.
>YouTube Cartoons
Now these I still watch; they're smaller, but still great. Dr. Bees is fucking retarded and I love it, he's great. Plus, I love bees, and you will too. Then there's Suction Cup Man, he's a cunt, but still a hero. All he does is climb, and he's going to climb up the tournament (I hope).
>ADS
I love ads and I love to hate ads, which is why I never have used an AdBlock! I haven't seen a lot of cartoons, but I sure have seen a lot of ads. First character is the one "spamming" the other thread, HH (not Gregg). The dumb YTPMVs are why I like the guy, YTPs are great (his campaign won't revolve around them, don't worry). Second is Homer D. Poe, because the Home Depot theme is weirdly good and using the store as a campaign sound hilarious. Third is Scrubby, a Scrubbing Bubble. Why? Because I, for some reason, remember these things. Also, the amount of scat-related stuff in these fucking tournaments is concerning, so having someone whose whole existence is to clean toilet bowls hopefully will help in cleaning the damn tournament. Lastly is the Energizer Bunny, he's a classic character and I just think he's cool, that's my entire reasoning for him.
>Movies
I've seen plenty of movies, but none that I really like are /co/. However, the Magic Mirror from Shrek is such a minor and weird pick that I just randomly thought of while making my list that I just had to put him in. He's not going to qualify, there's probably going to be plenty other Shrek characters nominated, but I'll still do it on the off-chance that he somehow beats them. The Shrek movies are decent, by the way.

>Comics

Pretty based to see bande-dessinee characters in a /co/ tournament, but I wonder how far they can go though.

>Cartoon

It's great to see more obscure /co/ characters joining this tournament and they all look really fun to see.

>Youtube Cartoons

I don't know who these guys are, so I can't really say much.

>ADS

Can't wait to see HH annoying his opponents with advertisement deals of high-priced appliances. I'm not sure about the Home Depot because I don't really see any commercial about him. Scrubby's campaign sounds pretty funny; he'll probably try to say stuff about how dirty his opponent is and he wants to clean up their acts. No comment on the Energizer Bunny and I doubt he'll make it even higher.

>Movie

Can't really say much about the Magic Mirror, but I think he could be an okay addition.

Nice list, it's great to see someone nominating more unique characters in the tournament other than just common /co/ folks such as those from Disney.

I think Asterix is well-known enough to have the character perform well enough, but Luke may have a bit harder of a time.
If you've got free time, you could go watch the Dr. Bees videos from Harry Partridge and the Suction Cup Man ones from Piemations.
Home Depot doesn't use Homer in their video ads these days, I believe, but he's still is their mascot.

I can't say I have any real opinion of every one of these characters but here are some words for the ones I recognize.

>Asterix & Obelix
Very based picks here, Asterix in general needs more love in these tournaments.

>Sagwa
A deep cut, but a good deep cut. I fondly remember watching her show.

>Dr. Bees
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEES. He has my vote.

>Scrubby
He's funny and he could especially work well with Mr. Krabs even if I personally think he fits Villains better.

>Energizer Bunny
I agree, he's cool. If he has a good campaign going I'll like him even more.

>Magic Mirror
Probably my favorite on this list. He's one of the best Shrek characters alongside Farquaad (who's guaranteed to be in Villains) in my opinion. Not sure how many Shrek heroes are going to be nominated for this but I hope he makes it in, he has a lot of OC potential too.

Other than that, I like how unique this list is. Good job.

Alright, here's my mains for Heroes, and some thoughts on them:
>Kuzco
I think he's a fun character, and he's got some potential for OC and banter with his arrogant and elitist attitude.
>Space Ghost
SGC2C is my favorite cartoon, and Space Ghost is my favorite character on it. He also has good OC potential and I would love to writefag for him.
>Harvey Birdman
His show is another one of my favorites, and him bumbling his way through a tournament would be funny and fun to campaign for. I might also campaign for Phil Ken Sebben in Villains if I have time.

I have no idea how good my campaigns here will be compared to Heroes of /v/ since I'm not a /co/ anon, so hopefully they won't suck and these guys can be a fun thread presence.

>Kuzco

Definitely the most based choice so fair, his campaign sounds like it would be hilarious.

>Space Ghost

Can wait to see what kind of stuff he could say to his opponent while they're in the middle of his show.

>Harvey Birdman

You did said his campaign would be exactly like Phoenix Wright's back at Heroes of /v/ and I'm excited to see it in action.

Good picks you got there, I can see at least one of them having a chance in the elite eight.

For Birdman, I want to try and import the assets from the Harvey Birdman game that Capcom made into objection.lol so I can keep making those videos.
Also depending on how things go here and my schedule in October, I'll stop by for Mr. /co/ to campaign for those guys. Maybe this tournament could help them do better since I know Kuzco had a big fall from grace despite making Elite Eight once.

For my predictions and according to Heroes of /v/, there's a good chance that our Elite may fall under these criteria.

>a tournament powerhouse who has made multiple Elite Eights and will be among the top 3 seeds
>a character who never made it past round 1 in the main tournaments
>a character who never made it past round 1 in general
>the "so-bad-it's-good" character
>a relatively known character who was barely nominated in the main tournaments
>a character who was an early loss from Tag Team
>pretty much this character's only shot at a tournament
>a "darkhorse" character from a franchise that has more than one Elite member

I got bored so I decided to combine these two to make a hypothetical Elite Eight for Heroes.

>a tournament powerhouse who has made multiple Elite Eights and will be among the top 3 seeds
It's either Courage or Hank, maybe Samurai Jack (popular toon character).
>a character who never made it past round 1 in the main tournaments
Adorabat (obscure toon character).
>a character who never made it past round 1 in general
Charlie Brown (comic character).
>the "so-bad-it's-good" character
I feel like this spot has to go to a mascot, so HH it is. (commercial mascot).
>a relatively known character who was barely nominated in the main tournaments
I'm gonna cheat here and say Kuzco because his snub in 2021 was fucking weird (popular toon character).
>a character who was an early loss from Tag Team
Kermit (puppet character).
>pretty much this character's only shot at a tournament
Judging from this thread, probably Thoren (obscure toon character).
>a "darkhorse" character from a franchise that has more than one Elite member
"Darkhorse" is a bit of a stretch, but Spider-Man (comic character).

I am more incline on favoring Ruber than Silver when it comes to villains tournament. Ruber is the archetypal bad guy who wants to conquer the kingdom and is the only saving grace of the movie and his personality is straight up fucking mental which is what makes for a great villain.
Silver is more on the line of a complex character that happens to be the antagonist.

John Silver ironically enough isn't even a villain but simply an antagonist.
Captain Flint on the other hand is a straight up evil pirate that has a kill count on the thousands.

I have a unique idea for the villains tournament. Would early woody woodpecker count? He’s obviously very mischievous, admittedly insane, and outright antagonistic towards other characters before being retooled into a situation where he has to be provoked like bugs bunny does.

A sneak peak for the campaign on the villains tournament, anyone who has remembered this from the very end of last tag team tournament gets a cookie.
>Something dark and wicked is brewing within untouched rainforests in South America. Once a beautiful lush underground paradise filled with a rare golden coffee bean now reduced to an industrial nightmare beyond comprehension that only hexxus could even dream with his toxic love. These wild golden el dorado coffee beans have been harvested to near local extinction but breed in special conditions to be kept alive. The coffees flavor is unbelievable to the point of sinful lust of wanting more, no coffee could even compare its fantastic golden brown brew. The slave labor is taken from local indigenous peoples taken by force by green vigilantes from space lead by an impostor wearing red white and blue as a mockery to the shield of justice and freedom, when one dies they are simply replaced. Living conditions are poor and are barely given food, constantly tortured by the smell of delicious coffee. Also taunting them is what appears to be an angel telling how much he loves them and how he is their true savior if containing to work. Some of these labors disappear and return by unknown means but have changed slightly. And then there’s the one that ignited all of this, within his golden palace lies a throne of golden coffee cans and impoverished servants doing his bidding DRINKING the coffee and be scolded for not once a day specifically that “bad things seem to happen”.The day these are sold in markets across the planet will be his day in victory and he only has one name….Wilkins

Hey Roxanne anon, I'm the Ruby anon. You probably don't remember, but I was the one who talked to you back during Co-Op and told you your campaign motivated me to try doing something similar with a character from a controversial /co/ franchise. Haven't felt too confident in my skills yet, so I haven't been taking any requests during Heroes, but I'll probably try it for Ms. /co/. I'll probably try to add some flavor or gimmick of my own since I don't want to just copy you. I actually don't expect Ruby to last past Round 1 right now, but I think she should at least qualify this year, seeing how she's been getting closer and closer every year before that.

If you were the one who did the other Ruby and Optimus pic in Round 5, would you mind sharing where you got the Ruby model for SFM? I'll probably port the MMD one I have anyway since I like her V1 outfit more, but it'd be nice to have a fallback option.

>>55008
Hey! It's great to see you. I'm glad to hear my campaign served as inspiration. You just need time to develop your skills, I can tell you I still am kek. You're right about gimmick, you could try it in your own way since I'm not that interested on Ms. /co/. I'm also moving on from requests all the time and when /cov/ arrives I will have plenty prepared with the team we will be forming. As for the model, I found it on SFMlab as Rwby. Although I understand why it's so difficult to find. It's one of those models that is packed with others. I had the same issue with Marisa and Kiyotaka's models, they all came in their respective packs.

Also, happy birthday. It's FNaF's 9th anniversary today.

I don't know who the two guys are, but I do know that the first guy is from Lucky Luke. Can't really say much, but good to see that you nominating more obscure characters just like before.

>Cartoons

The Simpsons' version of Dr House is a weird pick but since I haven't watched Simpsons in years, I have no opinion on him.

>Webcomics

Don't know who the guy on the left is but the one on the right is familiar, he sounds like a somewhat funny choice for the tournament which is the only comment I have.

>YT Cartoons

Good to see Suction-Cup Man is rejoining another tournament. The third guy (forgot his name) was hilarious during the Heroes tournament and I can't wait to see him. Don't know about the two other guys, though.

>ADS

Both Mac Tonight and Noid are based picks, so they look very exciting to see. Don't know about Crazy Frog, but I can see him getting some popularity here. Hopefully at least one AD character can make it in this time; unlike the previous ones from Heroes.

Overall I still preferred the ones back at Heroes, but this is a great list.

I'll explain my choices and who they are.

>Comics
First guy is Joe Dalton, the main bad guy of Lucky Luke. He's the oldest, meanest and shortest of the four Dalton brothers that are nearly always together. I'm only nominating him, but that's because he's going to be like James in Villains of /v/.
Second guy is Julius Caesar, the Emperor of Rome from the Asterix series. The Romans are the main bad guys, and he's the leader, so he's the one I'm nominating.
Last cow is Cow Tools. A comic that has caused mass confusion and as become a meme due to it. It's a dumb nomination, but could be funny.

>Cartoons
Or in reality, it's just Dr. House. He appeared in one of the Halloween episodes for one small joke, and that's it. Honestly, I just want to nominate Dr. House for something, I just like the show and the guy. It'll be easier to draw his Simpsons version than Hugh Laurie, so there's that too.

>Webcomics
First guy is Merasmus, from the TF2 comics. I had nominated him previously in Villains of /v/, where he was THIS close to getting in (i.e. he should have gotten in but we had Professor Layton instead). He's great and I hope he gets a chance here.
The other guy is a manifestation of Life itself, from Shen Comix. It's literally LIFE, having it in the tournament sound funny. Dunno how often bike cuck's comics are posted on /co/, but I know they're posted decently often on /v/.

>YouTube Cartoons
First is Suction Cup Man again, he could be in Heroes because he did save America from a Nuclear War with North Korea, but he also could be in Villains because he's just a fucking dick. Maybe he'll get more votes in Villains because of this.
Second is Brody Foxx, the host of the YO MAMA videos. He's a chad and he's going to insult everybody's mothers and possibly even fathers. The videos are stupid, but would you expected anything less from yo mama jokes?
Third is the Comforter, the bad guy from DR. BEES RETURNS! Not sure how well he'll do if Dr. Bees himself couldn't qualify, but it's no reason to not try. It's THE character that is the best at going against completely silent opponents that I can think of.
Lastly, it's Dr. Octogonapus from a classic, The Lazer Collection. He's going to be firin' his lazer, and that's all he needs or can do.

>ADS
This time I chose some that are more well known and popular, or at least I hope they are. First one is Mac Tonight, simply because he looks cool and I he gives me a reason to post music. As for why he is a villain, well, you know :)
Second is the Noid, because fuck pizza and fuck you. Weird little guy, but I'll be nominating him here and in /cov/, I have a partner for him in mind.
And the final character (ignoring any other character that I will probably end up thinking of in the Nominations and nominating) is the Annoying Thing A.K.A. Crazy Frog. He did start as an AD character, so that why I put him here, but he's more known for his music videos, which also give me a reason to post music. I could have nominated him in Heroes, but I think Villains is more fitting.

>Yzma
I love The Emperor's New Groove and Yzma is a fun villain. Ideally I would've gone with Kronk, but Yzma still has potential for a fun campaign.
>Lex Luthor
He's always been my favorite Superman villain, and I'd love to writefag for him. He's probably gonna be my top pick for Villains. Hopefully Superman's performance in Heroes doesn't work against him.
>Moltar
I remember an anon mentioning doing stuff for him during Heroes, so I'd like to try my hand at him too.

I might also do stuff for Myron Reducto from Harvey Birdman, but we'll see.

Yes, that was me. Now that Space Ghost, Zorak and Brak are out the way it's time for the best host of Toonami to sweep.

I expect Tyr'ahnee to either make Elite Eight (again) or get spitevoted out instantly

If she has a good campaign, I wouldn't mind her making it again and I do like Duck Dodgers, but I'm starting to understand elite eight fatigue a bit when the character has made it six different times across three different boards, being both a runner-up and a winner. Despite fatigue, I wouldn't call it boring since she keeps everyone on edge and beating her is a test of your character's strength.

>my characters probably are way less popular than her and other powerhouses like Aku
This might be a tough tournament for me, but who knows, maybe I'll luck out against them. Honestly I'm more scared to go up against Captain Silver or Ruber since it feels like everyone will be supporting them for this. I'd still try my best though if I end up against one of them.

Vote for my boy Ratcliffe. The loose rules mean historical based guys are ok right? Ramses is fine.
