Yesterday, I got the idea of putting together an art collab, not unlike the annual maps, where we would each draw a character that has won either Ms. or Mr. /co/ as part of a big poster.

Per the suggestion of CDArt over in the final Mr. Afterparty thread, we're gonna keep it to just the winners of the main bracket for now, but I'm hoping to expand to the side bracket winners (with the possible exception of the Nostalgia Critic, I think he has beef with that guy) if this project goes well enough. For now, though, we are focusing on:

This thread is for discussing and planning a possible /v/ all-stars tourney.

As you may know /co/ had its own All-Stars tourney comprising of its first eight Ms. and Mr. winners. /v/ is about to have its own 8th tourney year and crown it's 8th Queen and King /v/ champion, meaning its now in line for its own all-stars tourney. The "m/v/p" tournament has been a popular proposed name for it. This is would be a one time opportunity, aligning with the "elite 8" tournament concept, and a similar all-stars thing (after waiting another eight years for 16 winners) may be unlikely as it's so far in the future.

How should a /v/ all-stars tourney go down? When? Where? What do we think would happen? ect. Generally celebrate or judge our winners too I guess.

Going off of general meta and what I observed in the /co/ all stars I think:
>inaugurals won't win, seems like too boring a result
>the most recent one won't win, also a boring result and would get accusations of recency advantage
>any kind of notable tourney drama will stunt a character
>being too obscure or particular to a fandom or moment of hype will stunt a character
So an in-between uncontroversial and fairly universal character would be Midna or Curly for Queen, and Dante or Scout for King. Seem like the safest bets. But /v/ could surprise me.
