I'm going with Farquaad for 3rd. Who should I go for as the winner? I don't know much about Doom, but the OC he has been getting is incredible compared to Ruber who has kind of been lacking. I actually know stuff about Ruber and think he's great, but I think he has been getting by a lot easier. Try to sell me on one or the other.

Well, I'm out. Guess I'll ask for thoughts on my campaigns in this. What did you think of these three:
>Yzma
>Lex Luthor
>Skeletor
I wanted to do stuff for Coach McGuirk and Moltar too, but I didn't end up doing much for them.

Also, if I got the Elite Eight stream set up in about 30 minutes, would anyone tune in?

So. "Ruber" is what you call yourself, correct? In the end, you were the one to overcome all the trials sent your way and face me in this final battle. However foolish or insolent our opponents might have been, defeating them all in succession is no trifling task. For this, you are worthy of my respect.

How ironic and beautifully poetic. HA! The one with the most courage and capability to face me is an utter, raving madman. One that would be imprisoned or executed in any self-respecting kingdom, including my own. And yet, here we are. Though you fail to see it behind my mask, these curious circumstances definitely put a smile on my face.

Now then. I believe you came looking for victory... and Latveria. Of course, even you have to realize how preposterous the idea of handing over such power to the likes of you is. Even your own King Arthur could see that. As for victory... Your madness shall be your undoing. Though you possess considerable cunning and ruthlessness that have allowed you to get this far, this is still not nearly enough to hold a candle to my intelligence and resourcefulness. My methodical strategizing versus your sporadic onslaughts... I think it's clear to anyone who is destined to come on top. Of course, there is also your resolve... But in a battle of willpower, I am second to NONE.

Dear Ruber.

I have a plan.

It involves your DOOM.

I can hear your woes from this balcony, my fellow Dulocans! It may pain you dearly to hear that I've been finally knocked out of the Villains of /co/ tournament by Doctor Doom by just one vote. While you may perceive this as a snub, and I do agree with you in this case, there are still a few silver linings to be found in my result! It is imperative that I should remind you that I have bested a grand majority of my detractors during my run. The ogre, Parker, the kitten, the wolf, Horner, McGraw, the Irken, the monkey, the domino, and Luthor all fell before me and I surpassed them tenfold! All of these achievements and more have only proved that I am still a perfect leader of Duloc, no matter what the underaged cartoon character enthusiasts say. Yet, despite my "loss," there is only one more objective to go through in the tournament.

You see, there is a chance for me to take 3rd place in the finals! It seems that the maniac from Camelot has made it to the finals as well. This leaves me with one more opponent, that being a near-skeletal advisor who worked for a delusional emperor. She hasn't come alone this time, as she brought her dimwitted assistant for muscle work. Knowing how mentally vulnerable the emperor of her land is, I am aware of such tactics that she uses to usurp the throne and thus is unable to affect me. A weakling and her fellow idiot, surely this will be an easy victory to secure!

I may not don the grand title of Villain of /co/ this year, but there's still time to prove Duloc's honor in the tournament! Vote for me in 3rd and pull the lever on these buffoons!

That last sentence, who made that one up? ME!!! Charming sing along. Now let's get down to business. I waited a long time for this day. What about my new land, Your land that is! Do you even remotely fathom on how long it has taken me to reach this spot?! Never NEVER could I have imagined I’d finally reach my long standing plans, goals, and dreams of soon becoming villain number one, a true title of what I desire, the dawn of a ruberian age. I have many supporters behind my backs including a cybernetic pirate and an “alien praying mantis thing” but all of this was a result of one thing. PRIDE, SUCH PRIDE THAT EVEN THE LIKES IF VEGETA COULD ONLY DREAM ABOUT but I have it, I have faced many beings to have reach in the position I am in now. I have Excalibur in my hands, a weapon capable of doing severe harm to you! Duloc, latveria, and Camelot are almost mine, all I just need is to eliminate you. Then all of my goals will be fully and truly realized! Now then, let’s start this final confrontation! I’m already prepared with this magic shield. TO BATTLE WITH PRIDE!!!

Forgot to reply last thread. I actually got lucky and stumbled upon this: https://app.kits.ai/convert/shared/dr-doom-mvc3

But for your future AI cover needs, you can run this colab pretty easily: https://colab.research.google.com/drive/1r4IRL0UA7JEoZ0ZK8PKfMyTIBHKpyhcw#scrollTo=Sb5fzhzEXK8X
However, first, you're gonna have to give it a link to the model in the "Download model" tab. As for where to get the models, a D*scord server called "AI Hub" has a large collection.

Man, it's great to see Doom in the finals. This is something I couldn't even dream about in Mr. /co/. I was expecting him to slip up and have an embarrassing loss somewhere early on, but he persevered and got to this point. I don't know if he can win against Ruber, but if he got that far then I suppose nothing is impossible.

I might try to draw something for this final match tomorrow. I actually had a kickass idea for a drawing in case Doom and Yzma won where they would be playing chess with their former opponents as pieces. I would've loved to do that, but that also would've been pretty complex and exhausted me probably even more than the MUGEN OC did. A simple piece with Ruber should be easier.

Excalibur... I wielded it briefly once upon a time. What a twist of fate that it should be brought back to me. An extra variable for me to consider... How best to eradicate you without damaging your arm. The ancient magics of the sword may enhance your body enough to stand a chance in a battle... But nothing is indestructible to me.

[Suddenly, a large portion of Ruber's army of mechanical and supernatural creatures storming Latveria is hit by a barrage of blasts from the sky, revealing several large spaceships hovering above]

The remains of the ships that space conqueror used to attack me all the way back in Round 1 were not completely worthless. With Latverian weaponry installed, they are even capable of a feat like this... To help us ensure our battle is fair. Just you and I. Our armies may battle separately.

I think Doom's overall more worthy of a title of villain of /co/. It's kinda the same reasoning I had with Farquaad. Ruber is definitely fun and one of the best things about his movie but I wouldn't even say he's the best non-Disney animated movie villain. Second place would already be really great for him. Plus due to being a well-liked /co/ meme and part of a Plunderers he'll probably have a better shot in the main tournaments anyway. But Doom is the quintessential supervillain that sort of defined a lot of tropes we think of when we think of supervillains today (also iconic enough that he still manages to stay somewhere on the public radar even without a big MCU appearance). Even without taking any tournament culture or campaigning into account, I just think Doom is straight up unironically a great contender for the title of the #1 /co/ related villain.

Thanks. I can still use my idea for Mr. /co/ if I want. The idea is to make Kuzco sing Common People cause I find the irony funny. I'm glad Doom made it to Elite Eight, he's a great villain and has been fun in this. That Doom and Yzma piece sounds like it would've been kino, but tbh I wasn't at all expecting Yzma to beat Ruber since he's been hyped up for this a lot. I'm still glad she made it this far though. Hopefully Kuzco can return to the Elite Eight in Mr. /co/ this year.

Like other tourneys, people start talking about the next one during the finale. Being close to the main tournament does boost activity, but the discussion of it is happening in another thread this time, so this one is still slow.

You will find that Doom is far better suited to wield the sword than you ever were, madman. For where you merely take... Doom improves!

[As Ruber approaches Doom, suddenly, something protracts out of his armored wrist. The tip of a miniature double-barrelled shotgun.]

Even that impudent hunter... I managed to make even his primitive firearm useful by sizing it down and incorporating it into my armor.

[In the next moment, Ruber is knocked far away by a powerful shot from the miniature gun.]

Surely that will not be enough to kill you... But enough to give me time to activate my forcefield. Let us put it to a test against the Excalibur's mystical might!

For Yzma and Skeletor, I just think they're really funny. For Luthor, I think he's a cool villain and unique among Superman's villains, plus Clancy Brown killed it as him in the DCAU.
>what are your favorite things/moments about them
Pretty much every scene with Yzma and Skeletor is great, but for specifics:
Skeletor hates spoo!youtube thumb
Do You Want To Know Something else?... I Never Liked Your Spinach Puffs... Never!youtube thumb
For Lex, I like his speech scenes, this one being my favorite:
Superman gives Lex Luthor the silent treatmentyoutube thumb
>how satisfied you are with their performance here
Pretty content. I'm glad Lex made it far, and it's cool to see The Emperor's New Groove make Elite Eight after not being in one since 2019.

A lot of people like Doom just for how badass and achieved he is. A ruler, an inventor, a wizard, and a bunch of other things, not to mention he always has a trick up his sleeve and a stake in any major conflict going on in Marvel, a heel that's always consistently fun to follow, especially when he's going up against overwhelming odds. But he also has a legitimately great character. While genuinely excelling in many aspects and sympathetic in some ways, beneath his arrogance and grand plans he's still a fundamentally flawed, bitter human being that never achieves true happiness and is DOOMed to forever be in second place to his rival. Doom is very powerful, but also very explicitly imperfect and vulnerable in some ways. While as a teenager I didn't care much for that aspect of him, as I got older, I started to appreciate it way more. He's both entertaining and complex as a character, both very monstrous yet very human. I think that makes for a great balanced villain rather than just an overpowered Mary Sue.

Doom's had a lot of wank over the years (even had Tommy the dedicated autist freaking out over him on /co/ for a while), some more ridiculous than other. But his peak is probably in the original Secret Wars from all the way back in 1985, when he goes to face off against the Beyonder (basically the creature stronger than Galactus when that still meant something) and take his power, gets beaten, but manages to pull himself from the brink of death and drains his power anyway. That's probably his most memorable scene, the mood of which other writers have been trying to replicate for decades now.

As for his performance, well, getting to the finals is already really awesome, but it remains to be seen if he can make it to the end.

Let's go back to spam and violence
I'm so bored with threads of silence
Threads of evil filled with fear
Your worst meme, that's my idea of fun
Let Yzma find her sad ways
Let's go back to my good old sweep days
No more foolish supervillains
Doom and his kingdom will be mine
Years from now, no one will bother
To recall your good bad Doctor
Because all of Villains will be mine
This will all be mine
I have a plan, it includes (You)
(You), Anons, will lead me to win Villains
Where I will claim all that is mine
In the back of your OC, my men will all hide
You'll vote up front as the polls open wide
Now watch me destroy
Doom's mechanical army with pride
With this potion I bought from some witches
A drop on this campaigning
Oh, watch as it switches into a weapon
That I can use at will
Now this campaign can kill
Ta-dah, behold
Writefagging
Stand right up and vote quickly
I'll convince the undecided and sickly
Into Ruber voters with nerves of steel
Yes, yes, into the google forms quickly, now go you fools
Next stand up straight, now move it along
No, no, no, no, no, don't vote Doom
Prepare for the dawning of a new age
The Ruberian age
Year one
Bring on the Plunderers, bring down Doom
We are the pirates of glory and gloom
Bring on the Plunderers, bring down Doom
We are the pirates of glory and gloom
Only three will be revered
Worshipped, hated, loved and feared
I'd just like to say a few words
I, Silver, Zorak
You were mistaken if after Mr. /co/ and Tag-Team you believed, Ruber was someone who'd crumble and leave
Now I am back and I will be staying this time
I told you once and I told you twice
This Villains event you see before you
Every last bit of it will be mine

Aqua Teen Hunger Force is one of my favorite shows and Master Shake is my favorite character from it. I was so excited when Carl made it to E8 last Mr. /co/ and I have enjoyed watching Shake go from constantly losing round 1 to making round 4 most of the time over the years so I decided to experiment in this to prepare for his campaign this Mr. /co/ though I hoped he could have made elite eight in this. He's fun to campaign with his personality and fun to draw with his simple and recognizable design. This year could also have all three Aqua Teens now that Carl is gone for a year so I might do something for that. I liked the episode when he tried to become a Super Hero and the one where he nukes the world to make it more like a Flintstones parody that I showed in my campaign, but I also liked the episode where he eats the demonic sandwich and gets sent to a 2d world to be tormented, the episode where he thinks Dracula is trying to get him which I wish I could have done more of in my campaign and would have had he faced a Dracula, and the one where he advertises Boost Mobile the most. I don't really care for the microwaving animals one, its just good for material.

F: "Excuse me, are you leaving?"
Y: "Yes. We're no longer in the running, so we have nothing to do."
F: "Excellent. I'll just walk to 3rd place then."
K: "Hold on a minute, you're saying Yzma could potentially get 3rd?"
F: "Yes. Did you not see the signs for the battle for bronze?"
Y: "Well, you see, Mr., uh, shorty, it is actually I who should be 3rd."
F: "Hah, what makes you say that, you old hag?"
Y: "Because I didn't die an embarrassing death at the hands of some dragon!"
F: "You got turned into a cat though."
Y: "That means nothing! Kronk, you're voting for me to take 3rd place, right?"
K: "Yeah."
Y: "Good, now quickly, apprehend this little man."
F: "I'd like to see you try, musclehead!"

Y: "Hahaha! Excellent! Now nobody can stop me from getting 3rd!"

Hello everybody, it's finally time folks! We're now at the finals at last! Here, we'll finally see who will be the champion of the Villains of /co/ tournament! These two have made it this far, but only one will be the winner.

In this match, Ruber starts by ramming towards Doctor Doom with his sword in hand, but the bionic supervillain have saw this coming and block his sword with his hand. The warrior is then blasted off by his energy blaster as he is sent flying across the stage. He's not done yet folks, he runs toward the swordsman who then gives Doom a swift kick in the face, followed by quick sword swipe that's enough to make him stumble backwards.

With so power, these two are having quite a showdown. Truly an epic battle to behold, but which one will claim victory of this entire tournament? Vote now!
