It's not a plot hole, but an ontological paradox! Also, the gray emerald's a much bigger issue since it disappears for 10 years I don't think it's actually an issue since they only occur due to Silver's time traveling, which only occurs because Mephiles tricks him. Once Solaris is erased from the timeline, all the issues with the emeralds resolve themselves

RED:

Sonic leaves the Emerald with Silver and Blaze, who then take it 200 years into the future to fight Iblis Phase 3.

GREY:
>Silver sees the Duke of Soleanna seal Iblis inside Elise using this gem at the Solaris Project 10 years ago. Silver then takes it with him to the present (thereby removing it from time for 10 years and precluding any super transformations in the decade before the adventure), and later uses it to open the portal to a few hours in the past with Sonic. The grey gem then goes with Silver and Blaze 200 years into the future to fight Iblis Phase 3.

GREEN:
>This Emerald stays with Team Dark for most of the game. Shadow and Rouge find it as their Crisis City mission objective 200 years in the future. Rouge takes it back through the portal to Soleanna as Shadow fights Mephiles Phase 1. The bat gives it to Omega after Tropical Jungle, who goes into stasis for 200 years in order to deliver it back to Shadow during the fight. Omega, Shadow, and the green emerald return to the present, and Shadow goes on to use it for Chaos Control to kick Silver in the head. Shadow then takes the Emerald with him to the Solaris Project 10 years ago, where he uses it to seal Mephiles inside the Scepter of Darkness, then returns again to the present. However, in Shadow's final Dusty Desert cutscene, crystalline Mephiles suddenly has the green gem in his possession along with the yellow one, apparently having snatched it from Shadow offscreen (perhaps during the confusion of the Scepter's explosion?).

BLUE:
>This is the Emerald which finds itself locked in an ontological loop over the course of the game. The blue gem is implied to have been Princess Elise's lucky charm for many years, and Dr. Eggman attacks the Festival of the Sun to steal it from her. Elise throws the jewel to Sonic as she is being kidnapped, and Sonic takes it to White Acropolis as a ransom, where it goes in Robotnik's time machine. Silver later takes the blue Emerald from White Acropolis after beating the Egg Genesis, and uses it (with Shadow's assistance) to open a portal to the past and the Solaris Project. Silver then gives it to a 7-year-old-Elise, who presumably keeps it with her for the intervening 10 years until the Festival of the Sun is attacked. The problem here is that the blue Emerald never enters or leaves the loop; it didn't exist chronologically before Silver brings it to the Solaris Project, and it doesn't exist after Silver and Shadow warp out of the Radical Train fight arena. And, since it's been with Elise for the 10 years before the game, how did Sonic and Shadow use it to turn super and defeat Perfect Chaos, Finalhazard, Metal Overlord, and Devil Doom?

I was surprised how much he did as he was told compared to other Sonics. Also, I should clarify that it would only be preboot Archie Sonic. Tails: Wants to be chaotic good like Sonic, but is actually neutral good. He obviously cares about not breaking the rules, and is much more willing to work with others, but also broke Sonic out of prison
Knuckles, Sally, Blaze: Lawful good. They always try to do what is right, but that often brings them into conflict with their strong sense of duty
Eggman (games): Most would say lawful evil but I think he's chaotic evil. He doesn't want to bring the world to order under his rule, he only cares about satisfying his own desires
Robotnik (Archie, but especially SatAM): Lawful evil. He wants to replace all life (other than himeslf) with cold unfeeling machines that respond only to his own will
Amy: Like Tails, wants to be chaotic good but is actually neutral good. Heroes/Sonic X Amy is chaotic neutral and will do almost anything to get her man
Rouge: Chaotic neutral since she only relies on herself, and while she is willing to help the President, she's also a thief. It's only after Shadow, and then Knuckles save her life without asking anything in return she becomes chaotic good
Shadow: Every alignment, depending on the ending you pick in his game! Seriously though, he's lawful good since he follows a strong moral code based on his promise to Maria.
Omega: You could argue most alignments with him, but I'll say he's gone from chaotic neutral (Destroy all Eggman's robots!) to chaotic good (Destroy all Eggman's robots, but protect my friends!)

I'd argue that game Eggman is sometimes lawful evil but mostly chaotic evil. No, but only because it happened in a future that no longer exists (Iblis was never released so humanity never blamed Shadow). That said, Maekawa believes Shadow will eventually get into a capsule like that willingly, be asleep for a long time, only to be awakened by a girl that resembles Maria

That's what's great about Mephiles, all of his lies have a grain of truth to them! Omega was the last (and most powerful) of the e-series but was considered too unruly to use. Shadow was also considered to unruly to use so they were both sealed away in that storage room, with Omega programmed to wake up if someone tried to release Shadow since he's the only one of Eggman's robots (other than Metal) that would stand a chance against him.

It's your board, you do whatever the hell you want with it. I just dislike how imageboards turned into giant 1000+ post general threads, but if you feel that's the simplest way of keeping the board clean, then do what you feel is best. The post limits are the same as here.

As for generals, I do like there being a central thread for at least Sonic comics. But now we can have various threads for larger comics. It's also up to what others want to do.
