Biolizard Vore
The air in the massive chamber room felt pungent and chilly at the same time, a sacred yet profane imitation of an ancient shrine at the back corner while rivers of glowing cream colored coolant flowed in all directions around stone walking paths. This place was the beating heart of the entire space colony, and standing in the center of it were the Ultimate Life Forms gazing upon one another for the first time.

Shadow gazed up at the massive monstrosity of a bio-synthetic reptile. The surface of its skin was harsh and scabbed, grotesque tubing protruded from its body along its back and poking out from its neck, and a pair of fitting tipped metal prongs poked from the front of its head to serve as eyes. The sight of it filled his heart with a deep sympathy, but the creature appraised the black hedgehog before it with an expressionless face that betrayed no hint of what it was thinking. If it could think at all.

"So you're the true ultimate life form..." Shadow asked rhetorically aloud, his voice filled with pity. In response the lizard reared up and roared out at the hedgehog, a booming screech echoing through the chamber and rippling the water. Its mouth agape let Shadow see into the lizards glowing internals, a sickly flesh color leading to a pale white the further it went along to the back of its throat. The sound sent chills through Shadow, but the sight instilled an unspoken yearning he couldn't put into words. The same yearning that brought him down to the core of the ARK after discovering the secret project files on The Doctors computer that revealed he, Shadow, was not the first that had been created by the project to create the Ultimate Life Form.

Once the Biolizard's roar rumbled to an end it lowered its head to be closer to eye level with the hedgehog. Its sibling, in many ways. Shadow did not know how this creature felt, how it saw him or comprehended its own fate. But he knew what desire burned in his own heart, and he could only hope that this thing felt an equal but opposite desire itself. They were two missing pieces, and together they could finally be whole. Slowly, Shadow reached out a hand to touch the Biolizard's snout, and the synthetic life form rumbled but remained still allowing the contact to be made.

With the tacit acceptance provided, Shadow stepped forward and pressed his entire body against the lizards face, feeling the dull rounded lips opened against his torso while he embraced the snout as best he could. "I wondered why I was created. I couldn't begin to guess what my purpose for existing was. But now I know, there is no doubt in my mind. Do you feel the same way?" He asked, and could only hope the rumble vibrating through the lizard he received in response was a confirmation. Shadow couldn't know this creatures mind or heart, but he had to trust the connection they had in spirit compelled it just as much as it compelled him.

A pang stabbed at Shadow's heart when he felt the Biolizard pull itself away, reaching out in longing for the creature as it reared its head high again. But the concern passed instantly when he looked up to see the lizard opening its mouth and loom high above him, a drip of drool raining down to land on Shadow's smiling face. "Yes. This is my purpose. Our purpose. Take me." He sighed out aloud, lifting up his arms invitingly. And without a moments hesitation, the lizard lunged down and engulfed him. All at once the misty coolant laced air of the outside world was replaced by the organic heat of the Biolizards mouth claiming his entire body, so sudden was the change that he let out a gasp and wiggled against the flesh around him on instinct.

The Biolizard closed its lips around Shadows ankles and then lifted its head up once again, only the hedgehogs shoes poking out from its mouth while the rest of the critter struggled in its maw. After a moment Shadow relaxed, groaning out at the wet warmth compressing around his body and feeling the gentle grinding of the squishing flesh all around him, harmlessly chewing him in a way that felt soothing. He hoped if the lizard was capable of tasting anything, that his flavor was being enjoyed. Eager to fulfill his purpose for existing Shadow tried shifting himself further into the mouth, only to feel the lips holding in a tight seal around his ankles to keep him from going further. After a few seconds of not understanding, a realization occurred to the hedgehog, and with a muffled chuckle he kicked the shoes off of his feet leaving them to land with a splash into the coolant river below and get swept away.

Satisfied, the Biolizard tilted its head back and let Shadow slide towards the entrance to its gullet. Shadow felt the wetness around him grow warmer as he moved towards the glowing pale flesh of the lizards throat, and felt it flow around his body while he was sent away like he was going down a waterslide. The hedgehog made a slight bulge down the lizards long neck as he slid down, and the beast lowered its head and let out a high pitched hiss of satisfaction that lasted until the bulge disappeared from view as it reached the end of its journey. Shadow spilled into the waiting stomach of the Biolizard with a comfortable groan, panting on the pungent air inside and pushing onto his hands and knees while trembling.

The interior of the stomach was aglow with a sickly bioluminescence. The organic space was long enough for him to lay out with his hands above his head before he reached the other end, and wide enough to sit up on his knees before his head bumped against the ceiling. A sloshing puddle of fluids splashed up to his wrists and the walls around him shifted and undulated in a constant organic movement in rhythm with the muffled thudding of a heartbeat. It was oppressively hot, and yet at the same time it felt off with the emotional chill of a sterile lab room.

Shadow frowned sadly and laid face down, pressing his arms and legs out and began rubbing his body against the interior of the stomach. He felt the organ wave around him from the stimulation, and then clench down to compress against his body from all sides until he was forced to curl up into a tight spindash of a hedgehog ball. The puddle of sticky belly fluids splashed against him now filling the smaller enclosed space halfway filled, and the digestive muscle held firmly against his body without allowing an inch of open space. But Shadow was undeterred and continued moving as best he could, gently scritching his quills against his surroundings and pressing with his limbs to rub his shoulders and knees at the stomach walls, even nodding his head to nuzzle at it. There was a work quaking vibration all around him from the stomachs reaction, and the booming thunder of the Biolizard belching out a deep crass gassious discharge deafened out all other sounds.

Then the stomach relented, expanding back to the open shape it had been originally letting him tumble out of his hedgehog ball and sit up. He shook his head sending driplets of gastric fluid to splatter against the walls around him, clearing his head before assessing his surroundings again. The difference filled him with a warmth and brought a smile to his face. The pale sickly color was replaced by a deep warm pink, the walls were soft and ridged with a healthy humidity sweltering around him. Internal fumes flowed in a visible steam as the Biolizard breathed, and a quivering from the stomach walls pressed gently against Shadow in an appreciative squishing embrace. Shadow chuckled and rubbed at the walls, punctuating it with a sigh of contentment and resting back into the fleshy hammock of a stomach in complete satisfaction.

This was where he belonged. It was his purpose to be here, he felt whole and complete now. Separately they were lacking, it was only together that they fulfilled the reason for their creation. The Biolizard surged with a physical resplendence that had long been denied, and Shadow was at peace with the total assurance of what his place in the world was. In the outside world the Biolizard trudged through the coolant of the space colony core to a secluded room it used as a den, never to be seen by any mortal eyes ever again. Its movements were graceful and confident, and the motion reverberated down to its belly causing Shadow to purr amidst the gurgling of the stomach around him.

With the two creations of the project gone AWOL, the scientific research on the space colony was shut down and soon enough all human life aboard relocated back down to earth to find new journeys in life. The ARK was left desolate and abandoned but still buzzing with the perpetual energy that powered it while it drifted quietly in orbit around the planet. The only beings left behind to populate it resting at the very heart of the colony, The Ultimate Life Forms sleeping in unified bliss around and within one another, living eternally through the burble of happy belly and the regular rumble of a belch.

I don't think that ever happened.

SatAM had 13 episodes each year, for only two years, not much to go by for a fan. Archie was the next best thing you could get under your teeth while waiting for new episodes to come out, and even more so after there was no more.

I doubt there was much seething about Archie existing from SatAM fans. Except maybe when St John was involved, but that's understandable.

Sally's red eyebrows need to touch at least a little her eyes or eyelids, even when she only frown a little, so whenever her expression hasn't her eyes wide open. (also, more often than not, her eyelids should cover part of her eyes, resulting in her frequently having bedroom eyes)

Those are design cue that can often be forgotten, but is part of the charm and expressivity of the character.

With that said, Okida's take has its own charm that I won't deny.

I do wonder what should happen after the Archie Ride is over. I'd be fine with the new board and posting only on this site but would I do daily storytimes like before or just post stuff whenever I find them? Also lets others post stuff if they want. And I still think the board and its threads will move pretty slow, especially compared to 4chan. Despite the memes, there's still a finite number of comics to post and even with new comics coming out, we'd cover all of them and there are still some that I wouldn't bother with due to interest or some other reason. Yeah, I guess that true. But some other ideas for the Sonic board conductor should take in consideration. So a consistent sthg thread in it where you can post anything sonic, and to make things not too scattered, conductor should use those same threads to also story time whatever they find.

and yes, it's an entire board to post about anything sonic, but there should be a focused point for most people to visit on said board. But of course, if someone wanted to make an entire thread to post just Amy, they can do that. I really hope you take what I say to heart conductor. I believe that will help a lot in the long run.

My main issue is that moving the unofficial story time threads on this board might be too much for 4chanplus /co/, as we can already currently see, but having a full board for Sonic might also be too big and result in being quite empty, or worse, turn into circle jerking.

It's unfortunely not gonna happen. They've made their stance loud and clear and theres nothing we can do about it there.


Like I get some of your concerns but what I desribed is probably what it has to be. Cuz lets say conductor in new board and made a thread for comics, the turnout, to be perfectly honest, would be fucking abysmal with like 2-3 people at most paying attention to it. But if a consistent sthg thread was made, conductor can and should post it there to get people to actually read shit while we also talk about other sonic shit. And yes I have thought about it, most of the board would just be fllled up with our old sthg threads, also why we were offered one so we dont keep filling here on /co/) but I still think a focused point like that would get people to actually go there. Yes. The admin here is more than fine giving us a board since it was their suggestion. We bring in enough people to warrant a board it seems so if it's fine with them then why not? I've jumped through enough hoops and dealt with the worst kind of moderation and we've seen how the entire group of mods are like. It's not going to get any better. It's going to be tricky getting people to come over buuuuuut there are ways. One way is posting links and risking a ban. There's even advertising. We can probably get the new board advertised on other boards here. There's also /v/ and even /vg/ threads. Seems Sonic threads are more tolerated there. But it depends on the kinds of people we get and if it's worth dealing with potential troublemakers. I'm very lax when it comes to moderation so long as it's not destroying a thread and being off topic.

Pretty good comic.
I find it interesting, in SatAM and early Archie robots in general are pretty disposable, even the ones that appear to be more sentient than others, but as time passes they begin to be more humanized, specially once things like Nicole gaining a body and the whole Shard stuff happen, and even characters like Belle in IDW and Sage in the games becoming a thing.
So a comic about Auto-Fiona appearing now seems fitting, funny that it's a porn one though.

Sally's actually one of my favorite non-game characters because she has such a fun relationship with Sonic, even if you don't read it as romantic. At her core she's someone who was thrust into a de facto leadership position that rose to the occasion. She's caring, yet decisive when needed, and is one of the few people that can keep up with Sonic's banter. Actually, now that I think of it, rising to the occasion has been the core of all of the FF's character arcs.

I'll blame it on the writers rather than the character, because it really make no sense, but it simply make no sense for Sonic to do nothing about Antoine's father. It's not like he had a fix mission he has to go to, he could just stay and sort this out.

But I guess that for the sake of Rob needing a sheriff to fight.

Still, I hate when writers pull that sort of contrivances, only to have the characters bite back by afterward, because by then, they have realised that "oh yeah, that was a fucked up thing to do in the first palce..."

I just read through SatFF and I do like it but I got some problems with it. I think dialogue is fine for most part but comic has a habit of characters just explaining backstory and stuff. Kinda bad in issue 1. Like I get it needs to happen but it’s weird to see a lot of exposition dumping often. Also I think the various canons things being added so much needs to be toned down a bit as you keep adding a ton and can be a bit hard to digest. Don’t wanna pull an Ian with setting too much plot points and shit instead of focusing on the story quality. And since the comic is called Sonic and the Freedom Fighters, I’d like to to a lot more interpersonal relationships they have. Like we make fun of the whole sonic bechdel test. So I really wanna see what relations members have between each other specifically than just sonic. I get the comic focuses a ton on sally and sonic but I don’t want them to just talk to each other even as someone who loves the ship. I’d like to see them interact with others like sally & Tails, sonic and bunnie, etc. also I’d read some books on making comics and writing advice to just generally improve in creating.

I hope that was clear, and understandable. And to make it even clearer, it’s not from a place of hate but love to make sure you can make the bestest sonic fan comic evar!!! So don’t feel too bad.

I never want to shut down criticisms and I do pay attention to what people say, good or bad. But I have seen people come to conclusions and treat the comic like it should be one thing or that it shouldn't cover something that they've seen enough in other comics. Managing a team of protagonists isn't easy and some characters and interactions with characters will need to be fleshed out over time. That is all taken into consideration. It just takes time to do so.

While I enjoy the current pace, I can see why all these things happening so fast can make it a little harder to follow. That said, it's hard to strike the right balance between keeping the comic moving fast enough that the main plot won't take a decade. Assuming 2 pages a week that's around 100 pages a year, which would mean we'd need around 10 years to do 50 issues and 150 years to match Archie's pagecount.
I definitely agree about wanting to see the non-Sonic cast get more relationship development. Fortunately we'll be seeing more of that in the upcoming issues

The most difficult balance for me is listening to feedback deciding whether to take the advice or refuse. Because someone shouldn't change their work based on the opinions of others but if there are things holding the comic back and ways to improve it then ignoring such advice isn't good. I should be more selfish since I think a creator is better when they listen to their intuition more than others. As long as I don't pick up any of Penders' bad habits. Imagine being his apprentice and having him talk to you and tell you what to do on a daily basis.

Yeah, it's a tricky one. I think it's pretty normal to make a few minor changes when readers point out something interesting, but I wouldn't want to make any major changes. It's important for there to be a strong author's voice in the comic, so long as you don't go full Penders! Rereading the old Knuckles comics it's surprising just how good he can be at writing. It's pretty clear that closing himself off to all criticism caused the majority of his issues. Dude didn't even take Dawn Best's advice on retooling his Echidna redesigns

One thing that I've noticed reading the earlier comics is that the FFs seem to actually have more in terms of special abilities than in the later ones.
Bunnie with all the stuff she pulled during Mecha Madness, Antoine using a power ring to boost his slashes, and even Sally using Nicole to pull some interesting tricks.

I've also tried looking at wiki pages of those characters to see if I was missing anything and there wasn't anything new.

What do you guys thing about it? I know that at least OP is making a comic about those characters.
Personally I think the less serious nature of those early issues might have allowed the writers to pull stuff like pic related without needing to give it any explanation.

It's fairly typical of beginnings of long-running story.
At the start, you still have everything to establish, you try new ideas on a regular basis and stick with what work and forgo with what doesn't.

As the story progress, you have the characters and their capacities better figured out and adding more might start cluttering the whole thing, so they are more established in their roles and capacities.

I had a look at other storytimes and they're slightly under 1 post a minute, which makes sense considering most storytimes are pretty silent, with only non-op posts for bumps. Storytimes like ours, where lots of anons are commenting live, are actually in the minority. We can get a thread to 500 posts in 4-5 hours, whereas storytimes of new IDW issues take around a day to get to 500. The other Sonic threads are even slower, hanging around for over a day despite having way more IPs than ours.
Now that I think of it, the only other fast moving regular threads I see are for Tamers, but they only occur once a fortnight when a new episode releases

Decided to do more number crunching. We do around 700 posts in our threads, but could easily get to over 1,000 a day if we were allowed an extra thread. This might not sound like a lot, but 4/co/ only has 19,000 total posts a day. Without restriction, we'd actually be 5% of the entire board. 5% isn't a lot, but it's enough for other anons to at least check our threads out and see what 4/co/'s culture could be like. From that perspective I completely understand why they've worked so hard to see us gone. In their shoes, I'd have tried even harder to get rid of us.

Interestingly, with those numbers we'd be faster moving than /vm/ if we were our own board. If you added /sthg/ and various Sonic threads on /v/ and 4/co/ we'd be faster than /mlp/ and potentially /vp/.

This has actually completely changed my perspective on things. Not only do I want a Sonic board here more than ever, but I really don't want one on 4chan.

The problem with IDW's Resistance/Restoration is that they don't act like an organization and they disappear way too often. They're background noise. In Archie, the Freedom Fighters are more than just a group, they've become a global force that influence everyone. And the main Freedom Fighters are not just friends but also a pseudo family. IDW has no focus but even at Archie's most scatterbrained they're more organized. And Archie has some weird patches we have yet to get to. At least the IDW characters interact a bit but they don't feel as close as the FF. Lanolin being compared to Sally was just the first impressions and expectations. That died down when she started being written more. Which is disappointing because making a Sally expy is what IDW needs. Trust me. Totally not biased.

Maybe I should clarify: Sega (like every company) have requirements on how their characters should look and act. Even early Archie had to redraw things to give Sonic and Tails 5 fingers. There's no big list on what's allowed and what isn't though, the editor just sends the completed script to Sega licensing and they'll send back some notes. The real issue is Ian unprofessionally mouths off about what he is and isn't allowed to do on his podcast, and frankly misrepresents Sega to the point where I'm surprised they haven't fired him.
There's lots of examples, but "Sonic can't cry" and "Shadow is completely cold and humorless" are some big ones. Sonic does cry in Scrapnik Island and Shadow does do some funny stuff in the TSR comic. The real issue is Ian and Evan want to write the characters like their Archie counterparts, but that's not what Sega wants so they keep having to change things. If they weren't working at cross-purposes with Sega they'd be able to do a lot more with the characters. Frankly they're both burnt out and need to work on some non-Sonic stuff for a while.

The secret is to click on the image to expand it and then save it so you get a less compressed jpeg. I also turn the noise reduction up to maximum and save at 95% quality over the usual 90% most jpegs use. Fun fact: I also run all the digital Archie comics through a round of noise reduction since those are horribly compressed too

The guys behind Boom explicitly stated that Big and the Chaotix (sans Vector for some reason) came with a laundry list of hard mandates behind their use, to the point they just didn't give a shit to fight for having them in the show. Likewise, they LITERALLY anret allowed to explore the Sol Dimension or Silver's future, which doesn't fucking make sense as a "requirement" and nobody sane would argue that a company should be LIMITING what expansions can be made for concepts they'll never ever come back to.

Ian IS acting unprofessionally, there is no question about that - but multiple people who have no association with him have clarified that Sega just slaps on arbitrary limitations for what you can or cannot do that cripple what you can actually create with the setting. All companies have requirements, but that's a very different thing from "you cannot use this character in X situation because he is effectively a meat automaton and does not have friends or emotions".

I think the only exception to Shadow being treated as a totally serious asshole all the time are the Twitter Takeovers, and those are run by SoA, who are far more lax with the characters and setting.

I'll also add that the guys behind the movies have said that Sega of Japan tried to mess with things or insist that certain elements take precedence, and whilst they obviously couldn't directly enforce them because they gave Paramount complete control, they were very strongly suggested. IIRC, that's the reason why they couldn't have the Master Emerald itself be inherently powerful - it HAD to be a fusion of all seven chaos emeralds at Sega's insistence. Which lines up very well with Ian claiming that Sega has said that the Master Emerald has no powers.

These are also the same people who insisted on Two Worlds and until very, very recently, adamantly refused to let anything but the bare minimum bridge the Classic/Modern divide they've arbitrarily enforced. I'm not giving them the benefit of the doubt on anything when even in Archie when they started taking more and more notice of the comic, they NEVER went full retard like they've done with IDW.

Ian is salty and completely burnt out, and Evan to a lesser degree, but there's obviously some bullshit going on with Sega too. All companies may have requirements for their characters, but I have never heard of a company that isn't suicidal insisting "you cannot show Mobians using or having money in any media, they have no economy".

Yeah, this was Sega being unreasonable. They were happy with the main characters being written differently to their game personalities, but weirdly difficult about everyone else. Apparently Big had even more restrictions than Shadow. It's seriously dumb because it's a SoL comedy so the characters need to act differently for it to work.

He's always going to be a difficult one since he's Iizuka's favorite, but I honestly believe the biggest issue is most writers don't get his character (and Sega isn't good enough at explaining it). Shadow can be funny, but it's a very specific form of humor. In Heroes, he has his "date to DIE for" line and in Prime he incredulously breaks the forth wall to correct Sonic about his "air shoes." He also smirks and steals a chao's popcorn in the TSR animation, turning him slightly darker. I hate to constantly shit on Ian, but he simply can't write Shadow, at least not the way Sega want, and neither could the Boom writers. Frankly, Ian can only write Archie Sonic, and still doesn't get game Sonic at all

It's supposed to be a massive energy source that can make an island float and power machines, but its main purpose is nullifying the Chaos Emeralds. Japanese is more vague than English, but even in the translation they're using worlds, not planets. Worlds here clearly mean societies or locations (like world 1-1 in Mario), otherwise they wouldn't be talking about them sharing two sides. No one in the games has ever freaked out about anthros, and Amy used to live with them in Station Square. Putting on my catty bitch hat, I think they made that Tailstube so that they wouldn't have to directly correct Ian after he started mouthing off about it on Twitter

Tails pays Vector money to investigate in TSR, we see money several times in Boom, and we've been able to use rings to buy stuff since SA1. My guess is they don't want awkward questions on how Sonic gets money (does he get a salary for fighting Eggman, or reward money, or mooch off Tails, or ...?) or where he stores it (he's only got one pocket and that's nature's pocket).

I use Firefox and when I have clicked two time on the image on DA to be its maximum size, I right click to it, select "open image in a new tab") the jpg open, then that image in that new tab in question somehow refresh on its own and, I don't know one, become the original png file (I suspect dark magic is at play). I'll chime-in on the debate to bring this one point:
I know people tend to say that the adaptation of SA1 burned Archie to the point they refused to do it again, but I think one of the thing Ian enjoy and is actually good at is Precisely adapt the games, we could already see it pre-reboot and clearly see it afterward.

I think it can be fair to say that sega not allowing Ian to adapt any games clearly impair his writing. I'd actually love to see what he would do if he was allowed to adapt Frontiers in IDW.

Ian's letters are a little hard to read, so here's it transcribed. From #103:

Dear Justin,
Alright, alright. So I couldn't stay away. Too many memories. SONIC #100 starts off with the core freedom Fighters striking a pose with the covers of the past 99 regular series issues in the background. Not as flashy as S#25's silver or S#50'S gold borders, but still nifty.
Starting with the Sonic story, Ron Lim does a decent job this time around. His portrayal of Cheddermund's demise on page 1, the moment of silence for Sally on page 7, and the down-right creepy end of Nate Morgan on page 17 are all excellent bits. You an see bits and pieces of Fry and Spaz (more of the former) here and there throughout the story. Sally looks odd for the entire story (more vulpine than ground squirrel) and Rotor's head is just plain wrong. But all things considered, Mr. Lim got the job done looking good, and best of all, it conveyed the sense of the story very well. As someone who was critical of Rn Lim in the past, that's high praise.
As for the story, I must be honest. I was fairly dreading #100. Boy was I happily surprised. I found myself getting excited as the story unfolded. I wanted to know what was going tho happen to whom, and I was totally taken off-guard when Sally FWAAASHHed Kodos. The dialogue tripped a little here and there, but all-in-all, it took me back to the glory days. This issue was a far cry better than recent months, especially with a number of plot lines tied up.
Moving along to the Knuckles segment, Mr. Penders does a decent job throughout the book. There is no particular rise or drop in quality. To be honest, I haven't been his biggest fan when it comes to Furry art. But he can draw humans far better than I, so I have no room to talk. Considering how he was first drawn, Mecha-Dimitri is on-model and with enough insane detail to satisfy me. The only qualms I really have are Green-Knuckles's bony knees, Tobor's eyes on page 8, and Commissar's proportions on page 3. I don't know what bugs me about her on page 3, she just does. Regardless of those few points, the quality is consistent and it gets the story across.
This chapter is a big turning point in the life of our favorite Guardian, and it's done in a quick, compact, neat little story. I came away from this feeling like something had been accomplished. The only thing that really bugged me was Green-Knuckles and Julie-Su's hug on page 5. They're on the bridge of an enemy craft. Kommissar has already made it quite clear she has an itchy trigger-finger and her sights set on her half-sister. Mecha-Dimitri is obviously using the ex-DLer to play Green-Knuckles like a harp, and yet they're allowed to hug and exchange terms of endearment. I just can't see it that way. Then again, with Mecha-Dimitri wanting to play Green-Knuckles to his favor, maybe showering him with gifts (Su, the FI-inhabitants) was his plan all along. I don't know. I just don't know. In any event, Ill be checking out the next issue.

After thumbing through SONIC #101, 1 can understand why some fans don't like Knuckles' reason for working with Dimitri. Some seem to think that Tobor didn't exhibit hatred. Some hatred isn't visible or even conscious. This is specially true if the hatred has been passed down from generation to generation. Knuckles, coming into his power, probably sensed this deep, underlying feeling in Tobor and in himself, was disgusted and wanted to change that feeling. Plenty of my friends have commented that they didn't like how Dimitri first said that Knuckles could change any time and then later how he only had two chances left. While this may seem contradictory, it is a brilliant plan by Dimitri, who probably realized that he couldn't control Knuckles from the outset and took into account Knuckles' hotheaded, do-it-yourself ways and let him do as he felt necessary. Thus when Knuckles failed, he would come straight back to Grand-uncle Dimitri and ask for what points in time he could change. Dimitri could then pick what events would change and rule the world.
Finally, Dawn Best. Nice work. She is definitely a talented artist. Her drawings helped covey the words instead of just standing there saying things totally unrelated to their body language.
What I saw was brilliant. It is also good to see that dreams can come true in this cynical world where dreams are often forgotten, misplaced, or destroyed.

You are mistaking the tree for the forest. The actual state of thing is that, in games, almost no characters talk to each other aside form talking to sonic. Tails and Cream not talking to each other is only one aspect of that situation.

It's not entierely unjustifiable: when a game has Sonic as the only/main playable character, of course most interaction will be withe the playable protagonist.

It doesn't have that we haven't had an Adventure-kind of of Sonic game in a while.
