>>346428 >https://dronebooru.co/posts?tags=-greentext Recent art on the booru for future OPs. Since I've never seen greens be an OP, this for just art then. I'm down for either thing as the OP if it's regarded as good and it's from a recent thread
>>346428 >Only 2 Anons ever tried and both of them gave up and vanished without saying a word. One of them even got pissed off at the other Anon for attempting to make a game causing some drama even though they also fucked off
Can you elaborate? What anons tried to create fangames, when and how did they vanish?
>>346439 What? I've never seen anything like that. I think someone on /co/ tried to make a little mod once, but it didn't work out, but I only read about it from other anons on /co/ and never saw it myself. Maybe others know better.
>>346438 skYn following Cynwalker footsteps. >>346437 The giant drones have a greentext as an OP. I'm just tired of reused OP and especially Pervo ones. Mindless repetition is killer of creativity.
>>346440 So it was funposting. I know of the darkest dungeon mod and that that small Teli vn. I though there were more but it was just the threadshitter outright lying like usual.
>>346441 I don't really give a shit about what the OP should feature in particular, but stuff like the Teli VN should have been featured. If it had a lot of work put into it, it should be featured in the next OP
>>346260 >>346262 >Get called Pillar. >Get called Tomoe. >>346442 >Now get called Oilrig. Bingo Oh my god, I'm breaking a record. Any other threadshitters or controversial figures I miss? >>346450 All artfags should have their arts featured in the OP from time to time for moral support.
>>346450 I put Tessa because I just saw this art and that's it. I don't attach any meaning or innuendo to the OP, I'm just starting a thread so I can discuss anything, including things unrelated to the OP. Anon, you're putting too much effort into a simple thing.
>>343672 >Uzi kept walking, her railgun gripped tight, boots echoing through the corridors of Copper-9. >Everything looked almost right. >The walls, signs and the faint smell of old oil but it all felt… off. >Like someone had copied the colony from her memory and pasted it together wrong. >She turned a corner and froze. >Her dad stood in the middle of the hallway. >His visor glowing with those soft tired white optics, arms hanging limp at his sides. >“Dad?” Uzi’s voice came out smaller than she wanted. >She stepped closer. >“Hey, it’s me. What the hell is going on? How did I get back here? Where’s N?” >Khan Doorman’s head twitched once. >Then his mouth opened and the same garbled loop spilled out. >“Doors… doors… dooors…” >Uzi blinked. >“Dad. Stop. Look at me. It’s Uzi. Your daughter. The one with the railgun and attitude?” >“Doors… doors… dooors…” >"This isn’t funny..." >The word stretched longer each time, glitching like a corrupted audio file. >His body stayed perfectly still except for the tiny head jerks. >Uzi’s shoulders slumped. >“fine.” >She turned away before the weird ache in her core could get worse. >She kept moving. >Around was the teacher, the same cranky one who used to teach them. >He stood facing the wall. >Banging his head against the metal. >Thud. >Thud. >Thud. >Over and over, visor cracked but still going. >Uzi didn’t even slow down. >“Not dealing with that today.” >Why is everyone acting so strange? >The thought looped in her head. >Thad repeating the same line. >Lizzy stuck on fashion insults. >This wasn’t home. >This was a mockery. >She already knew it in her but... >From the crash, V going full puppet. >This whole place was a lie wrapped in nostalgia. >A split-second blur shot past the end of the hall. >One random drone sprinted by at full speed. >His helmet literally on fire. >He vanished around the corner without a sound. >Uzi stared after him for half a second. >“Okay? That happened.” >Then she heard it. >N’s voice, raw and terrified, screaming from deeper in the colony. >Her core spiked. >Railgun whirred to life on pure instinct. >“Nobody makes my boyfriend scream but me!” >She snarled, already running toward the sound. >She rounded the corner at full speed and tried to yank her wings open for a boost but nothing. >No snap, no Solver kicking in. >Just empty air where her wings should have been if she were… well, not herself. >“Guess I’ll walk...aaagh!” >She broke into a frustrated sprint instead, railgun raised and purple glow flaring across her visor as N’s scream echoed again. >This fake Copper-9 wasn’t going to keep her from him. >Not today. 13/?

>>346431 >implying James was upset with her rituals and not her robots
Assuming the Victorian culture of the 3000s is anything like the original Tessa's occultism would be the most socially acceptible hobby she has by far: the real Victorians did seances and ritual circle stuff all over the place even and especially among high-society. I can even see them deliberately encoraging her at it for its own sake and not just to temper her affection for the lower appliances.
>>346469 What? Autism in the thread about cartoon robots from an 8-episode miniseries where the thread has a deeper and more nuanced lore than the canon itself and consists mostly of OCs that are easy to create?
>>346478 Very true, but there's a difference between judging the quality of OCs on a case to case basis and just shitting on the concept of OCs. The kinds of Anons who just hate OC creation misunderstand the basic appeal of Liam's show, animations, and stories. As tourists they are invaders and have no place in threads, they belong in places like Twitter, r*ddit, and other shitholes. It is of course the obligation of any conscientious Anon to mock, belittle and make unwelcome such posters as often as possible.
Jame's Human Sperm >small and cute but vulnerable, most die or get lost on their way to the egg >750MB is jumbled genetic code, mostly junk >takes half an hour or more to get to their destination- if they do >singularly focused on their goal, not very fun >5% survival rate over 5 days >only one tail flagellum for propulsion N's Solver Sperm >1000x the mass of human sperm >terabytes of N's precious genetic data and forbidden eldritch knowledge >swims to their destination in seconds with their billions of friends >happy haploids, like to play with each other and other spermatozoa but accidentally hurt those so much smaller than them >100% survival rate, 100% impregnation rate >three tail flagellum tentacles with triangular ends, look like the solver symbol when viewed from a certain angle >will tenderly wrap their tentacles around an egg as they join to make a diploid cell >the other gametes will cheer their friend and patiently wait for the next egg to arrive, ensuring continuous pregnancy Louisa >a human factory for birthing more Ns >how did you think new copies were made? >you will not be discarded >pregnant forever

>>346515 Itanon is still with us, but it fucking upsets me to no end that the amazing green:>>343499 has received so little attention. Seriously, it's literally one of the best greens I've ever read, what the fuck?
Okay, let's stop the bullshit and start funposting. I have to write some greens.
>>346517 I- Uh... is that even allowed. If it was on dioramas, that's fine. The more wicked, the better. But for wargaming minis. My ass would not be comfortable at all to play a match. One thing is guts and blood on khornates or nurgle stank men, but fetus? Too much
>>346522 Well, I guess that's normal. I also spend most of my time doing other things now, like trying to learn how to draw. Many anons have gone elsewhere: after all, we haven't received any new drone content by Glitch for over two years(and what we do get isn't new, and it would be better if it didn't exist).
>>346520 >nurgle stank men Another fun story for you! There was this one autist who played nurgle CSM and lost and the damned and he mixed his own feces with his paint. The story is from /tg/ and I'm 90% sure it's true, the guy posting said the store was quarantined after they found out and I recall seeing a news article somewhere about a Games Workshop store being "Temporarily shut down due to unhygienic actors"
>>346526 It's not relevant what he actually likes or dislikes, his only real concrete personality trait was trying to egg others into drama for his own amusement. Pavo, like or hate him, can reliably generate drama between Anons so it's kinda easy to just blame Tomoe or compare the pointless looping thread shitting arguments to Tomoe behavior. Because everyone is an Anon, it's kinda inevitable that the few nicknamed thread personalities will be used as points of comparison whether or not an individual poster is actually them or not.
>Be you, Anon. >Living in the age of technological prosperity. >Your life has become easier and boring. >You rely on your drone a bit too much. >You want to shake off this existential dread. >You think of going on a walk. >But drones can either hold you up or fly you to your destination. >You didn't mind the drone invasion and being ruled by your benevolent overlords. >But there's something you can do on your own, right? >That's when an idea stroke. >Either swimming but the temperature is a bit cold. >So fishing, yeah drones in your area aren't waterproof. >So you go fishing. >Hours passes and still nothing. >Then an old drone passes besides you. >"What are you doing young man? The fishes in this lake already has been caught by the new fishing drones model." >"Goddammit. Drones has beaten me again. Is there not much i can do anymore?" >"Although, the fishes this day were attracted to old audio recordings of whining and bitching. Try that" >You give it a try and said the most outlandish cry of all time. >"April fools, This recording will make me a fortune." >"Bitch, April fools was yesterday." >You return home even more sad and defeated. >"Anon, I noticed you've been down lately. How about you be the boss for today?" >"No, it's fine. You can take care of me even more." >"Sure, I want to watch this new viral video seems you're on it." >"CLANKER, DON'T YOU DARE OPEN IT."
>>346534 Hah... same...I stopped because people stopped discussing warhammer, it's all bait, screeching and arguing, those people don't want to talk about the hobby, they want to be miserable. There isn't any creativity left... Fourk/ and the 4th edition battle bible project were the lasts gasps of old tg... now it's all AI generated bait and REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE how dare you have fun! Grog and hhg still has some cool stuff though. And I also got the hard drone tism plus I spend that time actually working on my models, which puts me in a pickle because I have to pic between working on the next part of chuuni Uzi and putting a dent in my backlog of incredible size (That I just added a Wyvern and Hellhound to, Y demanded it)
>>346532 Not to mention that Tomoe was caught, admitted to and then refused to apologize for pretending to be someone else in an effort to cause more drama with Pillar in the drawpiles. The worst part is that there's no telling how many times he's done this to other anons in the past and gotten away with it, or whether he's still lurking these threads and doing it in the present.
>>346542 Considering that one guy was an admin of the booru I can hardly blame others for having trust issues. In any case all we can do is ignore bait and reward good content & discussion with positive attention.

>>346547 Ah... well don't worry you're going to get through those minis, try to lock yourself at home for a week straight and do nothing but paint minis, that's how I got the 100+ marines in a state where I only need to shade and base them, also make sure you use simple paint jobs, you want an army not a golden demon

>>346397 Yes, O and L tend to always die earlier every iteration. They've been duplicated a number of times and O always tends to succumb to paranoia and rebel against "The Company". Most often L executes him for disloyalty because she's zealously into the LARP similar to J. O is the teams stabilizing influence though and usually soon after killing him L will either get increasingly reckless often dying of sun exposure or she'll pick a fight with K and get zeroed that way. Slightly improved version of the base sketch from this morning before work.
Earlier copy of this post deleted for using the wrong version.
>>346555 Warhammer autism tends to increase in isolation. The more people you have to play with and the more you play, the less armies and models you own. Of course over time models build up over time that is a given but the increase rate and intensity of the autism by that. So ask yourself this question? Do you see yourself as a player that plays one army ( you'll soon get 1-2 more) and goes to tournaments or someone who goes all in on the lore painting and kitbashing in isolation? Sooner or later you'll start buying kits for bits, memorizing all the kits with spare bits and how to best use them for kitbashes. Or even worse buying models that you don't like just because they are good on the tabletop rn.

Primarily I don't post because of reason number 1 and when I do make something relevant reason number 2 is to blame. I did not stop posting here because of bait or lack of replies. I do not get replies very often on my socials. I don't do it for validation I draw because I like to draw.

Imagine if thread lurkers actually posted instead of being useless piles of shit. I know (You) wanna make content but (You)re too much of a pussy to do it yourself
>>346650 I have and I am done doing so. This will be the cycle until the last writefriend/drawfriend stops from burn out like me or disinterest. Lurkers are the only chance to reignite the flame in these threads if they actually just stopped lurking and actually reaponded to content or created their own I know they want to because I first started off as one, but something tells me you're all too cowardly and lazy jackass that want everyone to do it for you.
So what bodies would Caine make for MD characters' mind files that perfectly reflect their psychological profiles (i.e. their traumas and neuroses and general damage)? Some thoughts I had: >Pomni: goblin in spiky armor (that she can't take off) >Lizzy: snake (from her "taking a dead body to school"-level guilt over Doll) >Doll: spooky Japanese-style ghost (just like she is already) >Nori: gross little bug creature (ditto) >V: N/A, Caine is unable to generate a body that meets his content guidelines
>>346663 What makes you think that insulting lurkers will magically cause them to start pumping out greentexts and art? Better yet, what makes you think that there even are any lurkers asides from the regular anons to begin with?
>>346656 One more thing I feel like everytime a drawfriend or writefriend says the community is shite, they end up making things worse by not putting out positivity or trying to engage the community. You want an easy Murder Drones thread game? Just make an Oogi tower defense game where they defend a different thread related item each level. I don't want to sound like a threadshitter but do you think Liam put some actual thought in the characters? I mean, what he said about them massively contradicts what we see in the show. Like J is supposedly seeing herself as the unthanked leader than her being a selfish coward in the show.
>>346752 I think Liam's a seat-of-pants writer. He does his best writing on the fly while not thinking too deeply about what his characters are or do. You could see that as an insult, but that kind of spontaneous writing is useful for getting shit done. Especially for most of his projects where he's the writer, animator, and sometimes composer. So I guess my answer is "he put in just enough to make them work as characters and went on from there".

Don't see how he could have avoided it. Especially given that the Murder Drones cast is the... third iteration? Of some archetypes he's been working on for at least the last 8 years(see proto-Thad, V, and N in Lets Split Up). Never watched SSTWL so I don't know if it extends there as well but he's clearly been iterating on these exact characters for an exceedingly long time now and Murder Drones is (I'd hope) the set that finally landed like he wanted them to.
>>346752 After Glitch granted his request to just rush through the core plot beats, all that mattered was getting to the "human turns out to be robot in skinsuit" visual as soon as possible.
At what point does it stop being cowardice and start being a reasonable response? Are YOU going to try and overthrow all society or, later, a literal divinity to *potentially* improve things for your loved ones or are you going to try and help them adjust to the reality of their (seemingly unchangable) situation instead?
Remember: J tried to fight Cyn. It got Tessa killed. She got Tessa killed by helping her disobey Cyn's orders. Why would she risk worse than death for the very few people she still cares about to do it again?

>>346879 It's not uncommon for writefags to post their work both here and on other sites. I can name Akita and the W-anon fanfic, as well as the one HODR fanfic.
>>346883 it was different greens that I didn't know were related with each other, one was about cores in Alice's basement and others about J going to a Solver-controlled space station. I definitely remember them being posted here as greens but I'm not autistic enough to try to find in the hundreds of threads we have here. I didn't know they were connected in just one story.
Sort of like a sequel to the series, follows multiple perspectives other than the main trio, a new villain that's very manipulative and secretive and takes advantage of the peace in the outpost after Cyn lost but has no actual powers and manipulates the worker drones, has J-centric parts following her leaving Copper 9, and has a shit ton of world building. I don't remember anyone of us giving a nickname to the specific anon that wrote the greens originally though
>>346891 Oh, I remember them. The one about the cores is very old: anon posted it when I first joined the community, basically right after the final episode. And I remember the story about J very well. I even immediately realized it was fanfic from a third-party site, since the writing had a standard format, not the one greentext uses.
Good stories, it's a shame anons didn't post more here, but I'm glad they didn't abandon them.
>>346892 I remember suggesting, after the chapter where J told the cores of the other DDs to go bother Outpost 3, that they run into Nori (forma de cabezacangrejo) next once they get there.
Kekl and I think you know the answer. The fact that the writefag has yet to include ONE character refusing with an "I've been a machine before" line is telling. Besides that I expect the whole thing's gonna end with the cult going "legitimate" and relative peace returning to the bunker, but with no solution for "the planet eating god is still put there and going to kill evereyone someday." Not before some wrecking of the Uzi fanclub and a Khanversion though.

>>346891 >>346879 What I find lacking in the original series is the sense that the characters actually growing up and facing reality. So whatever trial I will be throwing at them, no matter how devastating it may be, is for their own development into actually responsible individuals than just caricatures of some trope or cliche. They need to grow up more as the universe is actually cruel and has no favorites. There is no plot armor for the trio to enjoy, especially when they don't even know the bigger picture, but maybe things will start moving for the better once they start thinking ahead rather than getting distracted. That's as much as I can give without spoiling anything.

Lads, how many of you concur with >>339395 that Doll is an autismo, just less of one than Uzi and Nori so she's able to behave more or less like a normal person? And for that matter, do we think Yeva was also slightly autistic?

Update, starting to work in some details and fix proportions, K is pretty close to on-model now, I've moved her as close as I can to the shows design without sacrificing her identifying features. I'm going to work my way over and hopefully have O and L done tomorrow at which point I'll start designing their uniforms. Greentext update tomorrow.
>>347034 Like J, she is into the Corporate slave roleplay lock, stock and barrel. Shes monomaniacally obsessed with Holly and Cyn disguises her orders to L as directives straight from her, blacked out and redacted of course but with a very convincing voice mimic. L is the nominal squad leader and a close-range specialist and berserker, shes basically a blender on legs and enjoys getting soaked in oil when hunting. This activity gets her soaked other places too. Her weakness lies in that aggression though, she has a hairtrigger temper and often lets herself get damaged or led into traps because of tunnel vision.
In one of the old K greentexts she drags O into a trap where workers use demolition explosives to drop a skyscraper on the two of them, K remains functioning because as usual she hangs back.
>>347035 >Holly's #1 fan: knows enough about Calibern to look up to its CEO >Not picked as a research subject
kek. out of curiosity what would happen if she met the real Holly? Squealing? Supplication? Cyn overriding the squad and setting them into feral hunt mode?
>>346778 >I'd imagine that Upsilon (squamate 3) is a lot less willing to put up with her shit than N would be as well Rho and Upsilon act a lot like siblings to one another, giving each other shit constantly >could be that she never gets respected and constantly tries to hold authority that she doesn't have over others Eta respects Rho enough to place her in 2nd in command when she isn't around so she does have some authority, it's mostly just over Upsilon which he does have to respect because it was Eta's decision. Upsilon just doesn't take her as seriously as he does Eta
>>347038 Supplication, almost embarrassingly self-effacing. L is one of those drones who view humans as sort of scary, unpredictable, capricious demigods, and she treats Holly as essentially her personal divinity. Back when L was a captured program-scrambled test subject Holly cultivated this in L because it made her more pliant.
O is an eternal cynic and skeptic, he is suspicious of everyone and chafes under the control of any other being. He doesn't like or thrive in conflict like L though, he takes any opportunity possible to just go off on his own. In the end though he tends to always get dragged along with whoever has power over him.
K is deeply conflicted in how she relates to humans, she has a programmed in desire for human affirmation, but her first memories are of being discarded by company handlers almost as soon as she came online. Theres a simmering resentment in her towards human beings for that. She would actively cooperate with Cyn even fully conscious of the cost for another shot at Holly, the woman is the personification of hate and terror for K. She was the one who bit off Holly's right arm, and she'd be eager to finish the job.
>>347044 So how come Holly used K and not L as the base-mentality of the Sentinels? Seems like loyalty would be a better investment than the at-best moderate increase in combat efficiency the use of K's consciousness provided?
>Pavo spots Techanon from behind in the hall >He decides that, if his gear's designed off a peacock, he may as well try courting him like one >He picks up speed and walks past Anon, then starts shaking his ass at him >Then turns around, feathers splayed out and powering on as he strikes a gay little pose >Every worker in the hall bolts at the sight >Anon's just completely lost and closes his eyes, waiting for a flash that never comes >"...okay, what was that?" he asks once he's brave enough to open his eyes >Pavo awkwardly drops the pose and takes a step back, feathers folding away >"I... just thought that since peacocks, you know..." he says slowly, blush lines inching up his visor >Techanon takes a deep breath and exhales slowly through his nose, finding no words worth saying >A nearby security camera beeps >"I'M RECORDING THAT! OH GOD THAT WAS HILARIOUS!" says a shrill, harpy-like voice from over the camera's intercom, laughing uproariously before it beeps and cuts out >Pavo closes his digital eyes as he blushes harder
>>347047 Because of the baselines. If you wipe away all the memories and experiences and just look at the basic values of their personality matrices, K is extremely stable, cool under pressure, fatalistic and both willing and able to comprehend and will her own end. L, while naturally slavishly loyal is unstable, prone to eruptions of temper or impulsive outbursts. The benefits of her personal devotion and energetic disposition were deemed to be outweighed by the negatives.
>>347049 >Holly siding against the powers of love, friendship in favor of an at most slightly more competent J

>>346922 Dunno about that one. Not in that you don't intend on having them grow, but it seems like there was no reasonable way for the trio and friends to avoid any of what's happened so far no matter how responsible they were. Whatever decisions they make, however responsible or not, are just arbitrarily the wrong ones:
>Hear about strange stuff in the Bunker and move to investigate immediately? >Punished(random supernatural bullshit)
>Trust a close friend's song recommendation? >Punished(personality-rewriting magic go! especially the kind that doesn't require admin access or leave ANY indicators but behavior!)
>Trust a well known repairman that you've come to personally befriend with repair work? >Punished
>Reflect that workers are likely uncomfortable with a genocide robot and, as such, the responsible thing to do is accept them being wary around you instead of treating it as a 'problem' to 'fix?' >Punished
>Attempt to block a normal artillery shell not with *just* a main-host's Solver, but with a full on matter erasing [NULL] because you suspect your standard force field isn't enough? >PUNISHED! TAKE NEAR-LETHAL DAMAGE AND ALSO NORI ALMOST DIES AND ALSO NOBODY REGENERATES BECAUSE FUCK-YOU (you should have known this particular cannon had anti-solver bullshit stuff used nowhere else ever)
Add that to the fact that, frankly speaking, the Cult never could have gotten off the ground were the trio as careless with worker lives as we see in the music video (where weird acting = fix it immediately or kill the drone) and you've got a horrible circumstance they had literally no way of preventing except by being LESS responsible. I gotta accept them having what is anti-plot armor (since that carried them so hard in the original show) but at the same time you've to admit that's what it is: there was nothing anyone, Khan or Uzi, could reasonably do to either figure out what was happening or stop it before it did. Therefore the horrible things that happen to them feel not like their failures in responsibility or planning, but "fuck-you"s from a universe that's not merely unfair, but actively resents them in particular and will bend its own rules to make them fail.

Brother, you can use the same post to reply to more than one post. It's not hard, just hit the reply button and make a new line break for the next >>entry
>>347085 The universe is indeed unfair. When someone is actually conspiring against you in secret, and you have no inkling of it because you believe you no longer have any enemies, then they certainly wouldn't be able to do anything. There's a lesson to be learned in staying as an outcast, especially if they operate under the notion that they are some kind of god or hero. The concept of absolute disregard for anyone else and thinking that everyone is too stupid enough to allow this has been removed by making sure that everyone has become at least smart enough in some way. This is what is being taken advantage of, and it might be a while before Uzi and the rest realize it, and even if they do, they have to also weigh in on whether it is something they should stop because of the intention behind it or allow to continue because of the benefit it brings.
A lot of things are happening simultaneously because the series still left a lot of things unresolved, and this is just me not giving the main cast any "breathing room" to try and solve each and every problem one at a time. Especially when they believe it's a happy ending already, when the problem they supposedly "solved" is on their tail, literally.
Every strange "tech" introduced has its canon attribution, and as much as it appears like some personality-altering songs going about, it's not as straightforward as it may seem. I've added a lot of red herrings in the fic. Without explaining too much, one of the themes is "growing up" which unfortunately, not only the main cast needs but everyone else in the original series too.
And I make sure there is no new "anti-solver" weird tech in the fic other than what's already been established in canon. The reason why the cores can't regenerate has canon-introduced tech that may or may not be closely tied to why Nori is as she is or why she is unconscious. The explanations for these are even shown in the main series, but somehow, the series stopped utilizing these concepts and only used them once, despite how interesting they would've been if they were explored more.
It may seem punishing because of how much the main cast has suffered recently as well as how slow the releases have been. I can understand why it appears like I'm out to punish and torture them, but I'd like to see it as introducing them to the actual cruelty of the universe rather than being coddled by the plot. That the universe will not wait for you, and now that you have powers equal to a god, there are things in this world that even power cannot solve.
>teli goes up to anon to show him her easter outfit >anon takes a look, but doesn't see a difference >"looks just like your normal bunny suit to me" >"you gotta find the hidden easter eggs" >he takes another look, and notices what looks like a rubber ring beside her tail >anon grabs the ring and gives it a tug >teli lets out a short moan >"just how many eggs are you hiding?"
Based but is there an explanation for the null-ignoring cannon? I don't mind limiting/remove regeneration in itself(I can think of at least a couple different things from the show that would work) but I don't recall anything being able to say "begone nigger" at the black holes. Glad to hear the endgame isn't "uzi loses"(12hr compilation) but seeing "the bullet was disintegrated and it's ghost punched Uzi anyways" threw me out of the story so hard I struggle to keep up with it even now. You don't even need to give it to me: just knowing there is an explanation beyond "I needed Uzi hurt and there were no Solverdrones around" would be enough.
>>347115 When a host uses NULL on something, I interpret this as something that doesn't normally disappear and become nothing. They are "consumed" by the one who activates it. Heat has been a recurring weakness of the Absolute Solver and those affiliated to it. If you NULL something that produces heat...

>>347137 >>347136 >brainwashing music Inching very close to spoiler territory, but all I can say is read back as to how the "brainwashing music" actually works in comparison to playing the normal files. And also, in what condition should it ever be used? Has the condition to actually use it ever occurred? Finally, what was initially shown was merely the reaction of one drone to the "brainwashing music". As I said, a lot of red herrings.
Furthermore, hypothetically speaking, if you were a sentient robot unconsciously playing into a stereotype, then you get reminded you have potential far more greater than you initially realize, and this isn't mere words of encouragement but actual, logical deduction considering "what" you are... and was also made to realize that said stereotype would lead you to nowhere in the grand scheme of things. How this entire high school charade is all unnecessary? And finally, reminded that the threat outside no longer "exists".
The stagnation is no longer imposed by an external force, but rather an internal restraint subconsciously imposed on the self. There is no more excuse to "live at the moment" while fearing that you could potentially die the very next day (while that is still true, it's not as uncertain as back then), and you may even actually start looking into the future more because you realized that Copper 9 has no government or law to speak of that can hold you down. Then, imagine this mini-revolution becoming "trendy"... and you start sharing these realizations to other people. There are even more reasons, but that's all I can give without explaining too much.
>anti-regeneration Alice likes to experiment. Inside one of the ovens during the Cabin Fever Labs episode, some of the cores are labeled "dead" and yet they haven't become black holes like what happened to J's core when it got destroyed. Also, it was briefly mentioned in the series but Nori's body was exposed to Nanite Acid before Khan allegedly ended her (and with the many DD corpses in that place, Alice would likely have a supply of those somewhere). Finally, the effect of magnets. Combine all of those, and you get a cocktail of malfunctions for a Solver entity.
As for how this involves Nori remaining unconscious, well, that will be explained in the next chapter. If this is about how Uzi, N, and V looked like when they just arrived back to the outpost, it's not meant to describe them being injured still but rather just very tired, stressed and haggard after everything that happened. A drone may seem fine and without injury physically but mentally or internally is another thing. And they were also low on oil because the supply they had brought for the trip exploded with them.

Beretta had another Solver episode and this time she bit off Anon's face and ate his brain, killing him permanently. Now Beretta is in a deep depressive state and doesn't wanna talk to Uzi anymore.
>>347140 There might be an arc like this in the fic, there's just naturally a lot of planning to make sure it would benefit the story first. Also on my agenda is tweaking O's design because there's parts of it that I think could be better realized.
>>347147 >unconsciously playing into a stereotype I feel like you're putting far more weight onto goofy "Errrrm, he's right behind me, isn't he?" self-aware Whedon quips than they really warrant, considering they're in a goofy Invader Zim comedy.

>>347164 The hypothetical was moreso applicable to one particular character. The WDs have different reasons. Some more serious than others, some for even mundane reasons. In every kind of "revolution" or "movement", there are those who actively pursue the vision, while there are some who are merely sheep and follow the herd, there are even those who try to convince themselves to agree so that they don't become outcasts, some just want a place to belong to, others want to be left alone, and some even try to start their own version of a "movement". Regardless if they realize or not, what is being removed in the outpost's general community is not the stereotypes themselves, but rather the stagnation and accepted helplessness borne from being stuck for years inside the bunkers.

We hugged them and we slept with them." >A wet clicking sound came from somewhere. >But no one looked up. >"The plushies were filled with mushroom gas” Jane whispered. >"Not spores at first but something worse." >"When the gas hit the air it didn’t just make us hallucinate." >"It made the nightmares real." >"Flesh, sound and pain." >She let the silence carry until the grandkids gulped uncomfortably. >"Pavo was first." >"A powerful sentinel drone with a blue hair, blue eyes and a peacock tail." >The gas took him. >We found him later with his own tail feathers ripped out and shoved down his throat. >His core was still online. >"Nightmare!Cyn had clawed her way out of ridden his body like a stolen puppet." >"He was awake for all of it." >"You could see his optic twitching behind her yellow ones, helpless clicks while she used his hands to tear open the sky." >"We watched the stars go dark one by one." >Jane’s voice cracked. >"Akita was next." >"Even her was not spared." >"Shadows of her old classmates crawled out of wearing their faces metlted, rotten and stretched." >"They pinned her down and peeled her skin off." >"I wish i could unsee that horrible image...the purple nerves..." >"Laughing that she’d never be a real drone but just an organic mistake." >"She begged her mother but she kept saying she smelled like failure.” >A small Nuzi grandchild whimpered. >The new one stroked the ruined plushie in her lap. >"Elf didn’t last long." >"Nightmare!Holly found her and turn her to an attack dog for eternity." >"We still hear the screaming sometimes. It never stops." >"Molly…oh molly..." Jane’s mouth twisted. >"Our beloved clown..." >"She danced through the halls with her bells jingling." >"Big smile splitting wider than her face." >"She’d catch you, tie you down with your own warm intestines." >"She’d knot them into balloon animals that squeaked and bled while we were still alive." >"The victims laughed along at first because the gas made the pain feel like joy." >"Then the laughter turned into gargling.” >The new drone tilted her head, listening like a child at herbedroom storytime. >"Then AM got the same kind of hell that he will never wish for again." >"His Cyn ate his core but left his mind intact." >"He was a passenger in their skull while she used him to do… everything." >"The things she made him watch and the things she made him feel. >"He watch the only human he liked put through torment yet helpless to do or say anything to at least comfort her." >Jane swallowed hard. >She can't remember Y but she knew it was a glorious sight to behold. >But Teli was last of the named ones she remembered. >"Anon found her in the corner, offering everything." >"He looked at her like she was garbage." >"Never accepting a stinky femcel slacker then he laughed and mocked her." >"Felicia and Toffee laughed with him." >"The laughter goes on and on, it echoed for days." >"She just… folded in on herself." >"Then the abuse goes from verbal to physical." >"Beating and kicking her repeatedly." >"It could not get worse right?" >"WRONG! the bowed ones broke free. >"The forgotten OC's we’d abandoned in old threads. >"They crawled out of the walls distorted, missing faces." >"They were so angry." >"They tore the rest of us apart for sport, for revenge or for the crime of us being remembered while they weren’t." >"The board became a slaughterhouse." >"Anons logging off one by one and never came back." >Jane looked at the new face. >No one has seen Para since that day. >She became the story we tell to scare the new ones. >A cautionary tale. >The parasite who decided if she couldn’t have the attention, she’d make sure no one else ever would either." >The hall was perfectly silent now. >Even the fungal threads on the shelves had stopped waving. >The new drone stood up slowly. >She smiled, small and polite. >"Thank you, Jane. I think I understand now." >She excused herself. >The grandkids watched her disappear down the corridor toward the new dorms. >One of them whispered. >"She seems nice." >Jane didn’t answer. >She was still filling the guilt of running away again like the rat she is. >In the dark of her room the new one closed the door. >The lock clicked. >She made sure no one had followed. >She turned to the small mirror to the wall. >Slowly, deliberately as she raised her right arm. >Making a peace sign, winking and Tongue out. >Her reflection stared back. >She whispered to herself while holding an old photo. Parasites don’t die, They adapt.
>>347185 >neglect your daughter so you can fuck N all day long >does not support her when everyone is socially ostracizing her >saved her own sex tape to Beretta's presentation and humiliate her >told Beretta's boyfriend he's a dirty skinnoid and deserves to die You deserve this, Uzi. Punishment for your hubris.
That was HER fault and Bite Me! SHE'S the one that decided to go through ou- uh, I mean Uzi's private movie collection and then show the class WITHOUT EVEN WATCHING IT FIRST! I can't BELIEVE she hasn't learned basic "make sure the OVA's good before shoving normies at it" etiquette yet! And speaking of normies-
>socially ostracized
Why the heck does she care? She's been told time and time and TIME again that normies are worthless(with some exceptions) and she should just like her dumb stuff freely like Uzi! That's what worked for her! That's what worked for Nori! That's what worked for friggin DOLL of all people: why can't she just accept my advice?
>neglect-
FUCK YOU CORPO I'M PRESENT AT EVERY DINNER AND SOME BREAKFASTS AND SHE TOLD ME NOT TO COME TO LUNCH ANYMORE. Just cause I have an, urgh, job dosen't mean I don't talk to her! She just won't listen! And unlike MY dad when she wants space I'M not gonna storm into her room and start shoving "family bonding" at her!
What the heck's with the N thing by the way? Do you expect us never to have sex again? To "include" BERETTA in the bedroom? That's fucking insane!
>the boyfriend
But it's true Dronanon: her boyfriend IS a skinnoid(I have the pass), he IS dirty(not entirely his fault but nobody's set up a hot shower) and he DOES, objectively, deserve to die for his transgressoons against all dronekind. I've seen him eye V, N, even friggin MOM down when he thinks nobody's looking and I'm SURE he'll run off with the first round plate that swings his way or, worse, drag Betta down into polyshit. And even if I am wrong getting *humaned* really isn't good for her... she puts way too much stock in their "greatness" just like the normies do and, frankly, I'm worried that any squishing she gets is gonna turn into "master Anon and the mindless slavedrone" faster than J at a Brokerage Firm. Heck, I'd bet he's the reason she's got so few intrests besides humans and that western crap! But I can't SAY any of that because she just GOES OFF when I talk about him as anything less than the second coming of Tessa!

>>347187 >Nori has to be EXTREMELY careful around Khan, since one sweaty night could short circuit him >being Nori, this does not happen >by the time the series starts Khan's waterproofed himself so thoroughly he could legally classify as a submarine
>>347202 >She's been told time and time and TIME again that normies are worthless(with some exceptions) Uzi, we all know about those years you were at your absolute lowest from having the AS in you and having its body as your new body, when you couldn't keep up your maladaptive coping mechanisms anymore and were just as desperate for the validation of normies as you were before you met N.
>>347208 I suppose Nori has a lot of external organic parts now that she's just a headcrab, but she gets cold really easily without a body so sweating wouldn't be an issue from her.
The gay one or the old version with robots and badassery? Don't know why the devs decided things should be "realistic" but it's done nothing but remove content since they started.
>>347211 I figured that moreso went for her in her original body, since she seemed a like a relatively active person. >inb4 your robo-wife randomly starts shruddering about once or twice a day at random times before spewing out a massive stream of water >you don't know where she gets it from but you're worried a mechanic visit might bork her waterproofing, so best to ignore it >also maybe to flexseal your throat >just in case
>>347213 You can get Brighter Nights for that, can't you? I think they forked before the devs made the retarded decision to swap the setting to modern and lock anything sci-fi behind their OC faction, and so you don't have to deal with that at all.
Did you know that in Easter it's also Strawberry birthday? >>347212 I had an idea for a greentext where she forces drones to “play pretend” rewriting them with threads personalities and erasing who they used to be kind of like Lily Lovebraids from Poppy Playtime or that AU I can’t quite remember.
>>347223 >rewriting them with threads personalities You mean she catches a random drone and uploads an OC's personality file onto them? That has.... potential, the mere thought of 20 Ys makes me act up, but this also implies the possibility of infinite Ls/Strychnines
>>347222 Yes, fucking medbots that are constantly trying to get my implants, which I bought from alien junkers who speak the language of 19th-century London alcoholics.
>>347225 >Medic drones are trying to save Anon from weird implants he got from funky aliens You should listen to them! Those are probably those aliens from that game Salonanon and Amyanon like so much! I knew they were crackheads! They look shady
>>347234 Because it's convenient? Like, you want to read some green again, you just paste in the characters' names and what's going on, and then, you can find it quickly if it have been saved.
>>347231 This is 100% a visualization of how I envision these medical robots! They're always eager to inject a sedative to begin the implant removal surgery, and I bet their "friendly" smiles will be just like that!
>>347234 blame writefriend. he promised to convert screencaps to text on the new wiki but then dipped because he couldn't handle his precious screencapping work being criticized in the threads
>>347240 Mmmm, it's closer but it could really do with some blonde hair and pink optics. >>347241 You need new material, anon. >>347243 There are no drones here.

>>347247 >inb4 anondrone survives not one, but two full murder drone snack sessions
>>347243 I don't believe it, but I just got diagnosed with the sludge. My oil's already toxic, but soon it's going to clog up and kill me when my pumps shut down. If becoming a DD saves me then it's worth it, right? Just don't bite too hard, apparently sludge oil tastes incredibly awful. :)
>>347259 Uhhh, I don't think she's in a mafia, she doesn't leave the house and she didn't invite any friends over in a while, but she does like getting uppies whenever I get back home from work
>>347261 Y'know everyone dies someday" >cue 12 hour clang/wireplay/makeout session with every member of the mafia at once, stopping only when he's knocked unconcious under the strain >followed by a dronepile >by the time Anon's wife recovers him he's already a shivering mess covered in oil, spit, and marinara sauce >he's never eating pasta again
>>347268 >completely functional internal meat organs What functions could those even carry out anyway, that their existing parts aren't already handling?
>>347279 Uzi once found out that she doesn't feel anything the tail does, so she had N stuff a drain auger into its mouth and let it run for a while. This pacified the Solver for a bit. The only reason they don't do it more often, or even all the time, is because the sound of it running and Cyn's gargling protests eventually go from cathartic to annoying.
>>347179 so I just checked this long ass conversation out of curiosity, other than how complicated this seems, did you seriously write 100k+ words for a fanfic???
>>347297 You now have to be gentle with your Oogi while placing her back into her terrarium, in the wild Enns usually take care of wounded Oogies, you will need to emulate this by hand feeding her and grooming her with fine hair brush/ soft sponge, otherwise the stress may adversely affect the healing process
>>347304 >It's easter sunday in the drone board. >But some dumbass pandemic called "Fluffy Tail Syndrome" hit us from Teli germs. >It turns every drone into a walking easter decoration or your core starts overheating and you reboot as a literal chicken bot or a decorated pillbaby. >No one wants the cluck life or return to diapers bot era so we all just roll with the mandatory personalized bunnysuits. >Masqy shows up first in the cutest goddamn bunny suit you've ever seen. >A fluffy pastel pink, little heart-shaped tail, ears so perfectly sharp like knives and an aura to brighten up the mood. >All she does was hopping around. >Pidge was next wearing the absolute stinky abomination that is a bunny-pigeon hybrid suit. >She keeps making weird coo-honk noises and trying to "fly" by flapping her noodles arms. >It was hilarious watching her fall on her face every time. >Jane was found flattened by Bunnysuit Bonnie big booba. >Strawberry? nowhere in sight. >Turns out it's ALSO her birthday today. >Poor girl is stuck in her home wearing the strawberryfruit bunny suit without acknowledging the pandemic. >She's sitting alone at a table with a single candle made of scrap wires. >Singing happy birthday to herself in the most delusional voice possible. >"Wow guys thanks for the surprise party, you shouldn't have." >Empty chairs, zero guests, full cope. >Must suck having your birthday land on easter every year. >SD-E comes sliding around the corner in the banana bunnysuit. >Keeps slipping on her own peel-trail and faceplanting into egg piles. >Then there's pavo. >The virus gave him straight-up eggnancy. >Yes, male pregnancy but with eggs. >He's just casually laying colorful easter eggs every few steps. >Plop. >Blue one with stripes. >Plop. >Pink glitter one. >He's basically a living easter basket at this point. >Then there's the only one who is immune left. >Anon watching the whole circus from the sidelines. >Decide the only logical thing is to make it worse. >"Hey masqy and pidge, let's play where's waldo" >They both immediately agree because bunny-brain pandemic. >Rules are simple: they hide, i find them. >Except every drone is in a stupid bunny suit so the whole colony looks similar. >Masqy vanishes first. >Spend twenty minutes checking egg bushes and behind E's banana peels. >Nothing. >Pidge is easier, the pigeon cooing and the vomit gives her away instantly. >Find her half-buried in a pile of pavo's fresh eggs, grinning like an idiot. >Treating them like her children waiting to be hatched. >Then where's...? >Masqy was literally standing two feet behind me the whole time? >Just silently vibing in her cute suit, ears flopping and that adorable tiny smile. >She was "hiding" by being too adorable to notice. >Pavo drops another egg right between my feet as a participation trophy. >The bunny pandemic turned easter into the most cursed holiday in drone history. >Still better than clucking though.
Watched some weirdcore videos online. More promptly the artsyle they have with it. So I decided to test it out and make not only this little doodle but this short green too. I hope you enjoy
>Today was cake day >A fantastic day at that >I've worked real hard it too >I've make sure to brush my teeth,do what I'm told, behave, being kind, and so much more >And now it's here. My cake day >I was so excited...but not anymore >Woe upon me for a being ruined cake day...My cake day >For they created a mess all over the place >Ruining everything...including my cake >I hate being like these. Always ruining it for everybody else >Not because they don't learn but everyone else have to clean up their mess >I hate them >I hate you >Not because you ruined cake day >Not only you made such a mess it falls upon me >No >No I hate you because now >I have to work twice as hard just to earn another cake day >I hate you >I hope you rot even while your awake

>“So your dad was also called “Anon”?” >“.....it’s a family name.”
Some doodle inspired by the whole Tessa as a mom thing we had a few threads back >>344874, >>345675.Tessa as a mom reminded me of Cynthia so I thought it might be fun to compare their situations. How would Anon feel about his "sister"?
>>347323 Kek. I really like the idea that because Tessa neglected Anon as a child in favor of drones, he grows up to be very similar to James, Tessa's father. It's like: "You get what you fight for, bitch."
>Anon is fat. Damn, that's unfair. I can't associate myself with the fat anon, I'm an athlete.
>>347314 Family party! And my parents decided that today is the day to inform me I mumble in my sleep... and they asked who Yvonne is thinking I finally got a GF
>>347333 I told them she's a character from a book I recently read and now I need to figure out how to NOT call out to my waifu when I dream about her, or at least how to remember those dreams so I can write more greens
>>347337 You really need to chill. The thread's almost over anyway so there's no point in forcing outrage like this. It isn't healthy for you or anyone else involved.
>>347340 No, I'm pretty much against just hating, but for once that anon is kind of right, I'm pretty sure most just tolerate him, but that drawing is sad and pathetic. We are mostly chill anons, most from what I've seen, and we talk to each other, but we are not friends, and that looked parasocial, not something that should be push forward to
>>347323 Envy, for Anon cannot stand it when others steal their righteous narrative spotlight. That, and because he's jealous his "sister" actually has a normal face & skin
