>One of the main catches for me is that this all implies NSA is way more competent than you’d believe from some of his previous fuck-ups.
In retrospect, NSA willy-nilly sharing the same Discord he used to contact Dominos and Brackets back in 2021 is something that falls within his field of competence.

Let's not forget Tourney Anon/Numnuts attempted to become his co-host during Ms. /co/ 2022 under the name "LazyDay", and weren't it for anons here asking Black Hand because many of us were suspicious, he would have likely never been exposed before Mr. /co/lympus 2022.

While it is most likely that Shakara won't qualify it isn't that far out of the realms of possibility of Shakara making it in the brackets. Cinnibar Brenneka saw quite the support in the bottom bracket and I don't doubt that Shakara will make an appearance in the tournaments in the future.

You mean bottom bracket because that's what that is referring to? The Mr Loser's Bracket was a mess. It was good at first, but ended pretty badly because of lack of planning and a disaster at the end where the host of it gave up with the main tournament ending and had 4 or so rounds only last an hour causing profilic picks to lose by just a handful of votes and OC campaigners were still doing not being able to get done. Livesey was a good winner of it, but Jack O'Latern was robbed because his supporters admitted they didn't even get a chance to vote for him.

The biggest problem is goo is just too irrelevant. She was never even close in seeding years prior, then suddenly she gets top 30 seed for no reason?

Ah, turns out I wasn't exactly misremembering when previously I said I could recall NightShift saying something about Fang losing to Desiree before the final hour. This was back when Numnuts posted these screenshots during Mr. /co/ 2022, from his time under the persona of LazyDayAnon.
https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/133552781/#q133552814
I think we should take these screenshots with a grain of salt since it's Numnuts we are dealing with. However, we do know via NSA's own word that he did talk privately with Numnuts while he was named LazyDay at some point, and frankly, I heavily doubt Numnuts is smart enough to know html or how to replicate NSA's speech.
There sure are some eyebrow raisers in these images, but I want to divert attention to this specific message from NSA.
>But I'm going to make some OC for the winner. Seems like I can already see her win.

Has anyone considered the possibility that the magma chat screenshot was photoshopped? Accusers have done this type of thing before on other sites to different people and some have had it out for Onlyfansart since the /v/ tournaments because of the muzzle art of Amaterasu that made people upset getting pinned on her. The autistic reactions and the things the Erika avatarfag said in the King of /v/ Afterparty when exposing Onlyfansart makes it so I could see someone go this far. I'm not saying the screenshot is no longer viable to mention and I know there is other evidence, but I want to bring up the possibility the chat itself is fake and that the screenshot is not the definitive proof of guilt.

Very early predictions for this year's elite 8 and how they'll do in 2025:

Ms.
Eris, Toph and Raven are perennial favorites, even odds for one of them to take the crown. Harley and EVE could return, even though both of their runs this year were kind of fluky (sympathy and silent campaigns, respectively). Alex and Clover, as great as they are, probably won't make it this far again.

Mr.
Hank and Jack are almost assuredly returning. Zim, Optimus and SpongeBob had their breakthrough years and could also find their way back in if not this year, then some future year. Like Harley, Dale was hard-carried by the death of his voice actor, and I just don't see Farquaad returning for the time being.

Eris is probably SHIT and FINISHED zoned.
Raven can nake E8 again but is simply never taking the crown if she remains silent. Purely silent characters cannot win at this point.
Toph is a favorite and in theory could/should win of she brings the same energy as this year. But ms. is too weird and hard to predict and a legacy powerhouse winning is too sensible.
Hank and Jack could definitely win. It’d be overdue for both of them. Zim too. If runner up curse is ever getting broken it’d be from Mr. /co/. I kind of doubt it though.
2025 will be the last year to make super all stars btw.

These are actually quite easy.

>Eris
I will say she’s not the biggest character to hit Elite Eight three times in a row and I’m even more skeptical she can return to finals immediately again. Still, she’s a huge vocal favorite and very notably the only one from 2021’s controversial line-up to return to E8 this year. (Bellum put up a fight at least.) Barring awful luck, either she returns or gets closer.
>Toph
I don’t see her losing relevance and her stigma is largely dead after this year. If she has similar energy next time, then she’s one of the safest shots to Elite Eight. Could even win if people crave an old favorite in year eight.
>Raven
While not quite as vocal as the above, basically everything else applies. She has the added caveat of her unfortunate 2019 loss.
>Harley
She’s not going away, but not sure if she can keep translating that into support. Harley will most likely keep acting as a filter and maybe return to E8 again with enough luck. A huge campaign could make it a safer bet, but as of right now that’s not the case. She also had a real-life event to boost her this time, as stated.
>EVE
She’s among the strongest silent picks, but that also keeps her from being invincible. I feel her bracket this year was among the easiest to plow through and she still got hit with 8th.
>Alex
She seems to be the main favorite from TS, yet I feel it will be hard to get the show back in E8. Still, if people try campaigning it’s at least possible.
>Clover
I really wasn’t expecting the double dip this year. Not counting out a return, but she seems even less likely than Alex. Still, she does have lead bias.

>Zim
He’s a consistent favorite and only has one real fluke loss against Dan Backslide. Otherwise, he plays with elites and could definitely return unless any stigmas actually ate at him (see end of last thread).
>Jack
I think he could outright win. It will take serious effort to take him down.
>Optimus Prime
He had one of the most positively-received runs this year. I see him qualifying consistently going forward and could see another strong run next time unless he gets unlucky.
>Hank
Slightly less durable than Jack, but another strong pick to win in year eight. Feel runner-up curse won’t matter much here.
>SpongeBob
He’s proven himself to be actually potent, and coming off Squidward’s run last year seems to point in more interest in his show doing well in at least Mr. /co/. He’s not as concrete as others and would need some campaigning again, but I feel SpongeBob will at least do alright once he returns.
>Dale
He had a fun campaign last year that sadly got muddled by fears of pity voting this year. Dale is still a fan favorite and won’t be forgotten, but I do think his cons will keep him down. Smaller chance he could also be hit if he’s absent from the revival AND said revival is actually a hit on /co/.
>Farquaad
Much as I enjoyed his campaign, I feel he may be one-and-done.

Really, I’d say the first three from Ms. /co/ and first five from Mr. are all on the table to watch.

Considering Midna threads pretty regularly hit bump-limit,people were rooting for her comeback from 2021, she got top seed TWICE, Twilight Princess is a very well known game, and her Manga had just ended early that year to huge praise (She kisses Link), I think she got the crown legitimately. Getting drawfags behind them boosts them significantly. Yes, this is the correct way to vote. This isn't a roleplay contest chosen by /tnt/ and discord.
It's based on a character's longevity, strength of content, strength of personality, and how greatly the represent the board and the medium. That's how voting was done in 2018 and how it was done in 2023.
You want this to be /v/ where they choose literal who indie games no one heard of because a Discord directed their userbase to vote and post fanart. That's not what this competition is

No one "needs" to do anything but vote. What you're ultimately voting for (or should be at least) is your favorite and preferred character, and that goes for the whole board, not just tourney autists (/tnt/ tourneys being the exception of course cause everyone here is a tourney autists). OC and campaigning adds a lot of fun and gives certain characters sway and narrative, but it shouldn't turn into a meta circlejerk or be solely based on engagement (like NSA tries hard to push). Stuff like voting for a character you know jack about but purely on art as some kind of meta statement >>77713 is unironically being a campooner. Like you may as well give Hex QoV.
That being said pretty much all characters that get far do have some sort of vocal support. There's been an annoying trend out of this philosophy in recent years that anyone not getting massive constant support or was already a pre-disposed campaign favorite is silent, or a bad character because of it. It got especially annoying last KoV. Like look what happened to Kiryu.

that really only seems to be a king /v/ thing, and only since the 2021 Schizo alliance
I mean, Samus, Reimu, Midna, and Curly Brace are all largely well-known characters. Recette is the only odd one out.
Armstrong and Dante are indisputibly beloved vidya characters. Batter is debateable, that seems to be more of a case of popularity that peaked a long, long time ago. Jack and Grimm are the only real "v-core" winners that few people outside of that board would give a shit about, and at least they both got a lot of art
That being said, it'd be wise to strategically spitevote against AM if you want a normal fucking vidya winner again, because you just KNOW that fucker is going to sweep through on account of "The schizo hype" and "le OC underdog". Him, Batter, and Grimm were by far the biggest proponents of that very specific alliance and people are going to want to "complete the saga". Fuck that, Batter and Grimm completed it. Let it rest. The finale being just a shameless barely-in-character rehash of 2021's finale was the worst part of Grimm's run, which is a shame because beyond that I like the character. But whatever, it's over now. Let's keep it that way.
Also the Schizo alliance really doesn't make sense for AM, considering his more iconic word is "Hate", and the "Allied" in "Allied Mastercomputer" meant he used his "alliance" to fool every country in the world into destroying themselves.

It's a difference philosophy wise on who a winner should be.
I don't think /v/ picks good winners and I don't think they even think about who they are voting for and why, just who at the moment is making the best art or especially spamming the threads the most. They don't even think about stuff like loser's bracket and what that might entail, just that it's more wild or unique. And a lot of their picks are based of the "craziest schizo posts" even if the character is insanely obscure and irrelevant, especially the last several years.
/co/ actually thinks about who should win and why, and in almost all cases it follows that to a t and the one that didn't was already found as rigged by outside influences. Even Zorak, /co/'s designated campaign winner, has very legitimate connections to the development of the medium and representation of the board to be justified as a winner.
I think /v/'s tournament picks are the worst of what a tournament could be and that Discord drama exemplified why their tournaments are lacking.

Alright, my somewhat half-assed unprofessional research on NSA has reached conclusion.

The Major Confirmation:
>NSA is OnlyFansart.
I am not sure why people doubted this in the first place.
>How did I reach this conclusion
The discord name TabithaTwitchitt#0314.
No, there isn't a double persona, NSA is one person. ONE PERSON. We have no proof or evidence of a second person being anywhere at all in all of this.
We have solid proof that NSA has actual capability to draw, main proof being this art piece
https://desu-usergeneratedcontent.xyz/co/image/1665/39/1665391318573.png
It is a doodle but this is literally enough for me to deduce that NSA was the same person as the black hat anon/OnlyFansart.
Note the wide fingers and hands, sharp lined arms, and relatively thin twink torso NSA drew. It is basically synonymous in art with another doodle piece made by black hat anon
https://desu-usergeneratedcontent.xyz/co/image/1665/37/1665375501888.jpg
So without a single doubt, NSA is OnlyFansart.
A note: NSA or OnlyFansart is a incredibly talented artist and his artstyle is very dynamic as he is capable of changing his artstyle depending on the shows he's trying to mimic with very good results.

>Does this mean NSA is rigging
I don't know how to bring this to you all, but he was rigging since y'all gave him the permission to take out the rigged votes out.
Him giving the second place to Chel (another great point on OnlyFansart being NSA as he's the sole artist to do so) despite Shirley being second, is by definition RIGGING.

What I actually fear is NSA launched a falseflag plan against the entire tournaments in Ms. /co/ 2022.
This is my hypothesis, but what I mean by this is that he intentionally rigged OR falseflagged the shit out of the furries into advancing so he could launch a false idea of making himself the messiah of the tournament, in turn gaining the trust of the masses into voting him to "remove" the rigged votes. Think about it logically, how the fuck does he know which votes are rigged or not? Right? But he knows when one of his mains is losing and we've seen the difference between the google docs and google sheet results as they were revealed in Queen /v/ 2022 and they were literally in the single digits. Enough to make a difference in close match up.

In the end, NSA has made basically a monopoly on these tournaments and he sees himself as the one who truly knows how a 4chan tournament is needed to be held, which is delusion in its finest.

As pointed out, there's also way less art of him on OFA's DeviantArt account compared to the others.

>what I mean by this is that he intentionally rigged OR falseflagged the shit out of the furries into advancing so he could launch a false idea of making himself the messiah of the tournament, in turn gaining the trust of the masses into voting him to "remove" the rigged votes
I do still think the whole furry targeting was strange, but at the same time it's a harder assumption to claim it was all to benefit his image. That's not even to mention that it failed spectacularly if that was the case.

Hasn't it also been shown that he barely even changes votes? Yeah, you could argue it only works in fringe cases, but it's also fair to assume he simply isn't all that good at picking out genuine rigging.

My main problem with all this is that there's a lot of assumptions being made. It also seems to largely focus on Ms. /co/ 2022 in particular, which was actually right before the direct form results stopped being open.

An anon in the past /v/ discussion thread alluded to a "2022 OC controversy" when debating over the lack of artists during the latest Ko/v/. At first I had no idea what he was talking about, until I recalled that while minimal, there in fact was some amount of controversy during the Ko/v/ 2022 semis concerning a drawfag who voiced complaints over their work not being noticed and not receiving proper engagement as a result. This went on for a little while until anons deemed them as attention seeking and moved on.
Welp, now I realize *that* drawfag was Onlyfansart. Someone inquired if they were the artist who was working on the Midna E8, to which they replied that yes they were.

https://arch.b4k.co/v/thread/621424694/#621432643

The discussion went something like this:
>OFA: Not going to lie, the /v/ tournaments this year really deflated me from doing OC. I constantly get 0 (You)s and my main loses anyways. I actually had way more fun making OC for the /co/ tournaments actually. Felt like it mattered more. Sorry you had to hear me complain so much like a woman.
>>You should be doing it for fun. I have made many things and most of them only got very few (You)s. Someone doesn't need to reply to you to enjoy it.
>OFA: But they should reply if they want to keep seeing more. It's disheartening to work for hours on a piece then get no love. It's not even about the number of (you)s. It's if your piece was seen and appreciated for your campaign. Otherwise you might as well be screaming into the void. How effective is your campaigning if nobody even cares enough to say. Oh cool. How fdo you know it impacted anyone? The AM draw/writefags were told they had no campaign.
>>let me guess... beginner?
>OFA: No. But how many amazing pieces do you think you can get out before a round ends? I've been animating the Queen /v/'s win screen. I can't get out high quality stuff because 1 HQ=12 LQ. Memeing is the unironic way to win.
>>anon what do you expect coming here? do you expect praise? being told about how "good" you are at making oc? do you need clout to survive or are you here to have a good time? who cares if your character wins or loses, the point is having a good time with the anons, you can still show your support even if your character lost
>OFA: Anon, if there's no engagement then where's the fun for the artist? It's not about praise. It's about knowing if you are drawing for an audience who even notices your efforts. You have to remember artists aren't in the threads participating in discussion. They're drawing. If you think working hard at something and getting ignored is fun then I don't know what to tell you.
>>I understand making something to bring attention to your character, but you don't seem to be making things for the tournament for fun, so why are you bothering? Stop it, if you aren't having fun, just don't do it.
>OFA: I made several pieces for fun. I've been drawing other people's character's for years. I did rolls for art. I don't know how long you take posing your models but it takes a while to get out something more than a shitty doodle. I was drawing Midna as a passion project for /v/. If no one actually cared for it from the start, I would have stopped. Why? Because if my target audience doesn't give a fuck then who am I making it for? Myself? Then there's no reason to post it here.
[...]
>OFA: Thanks to everyone who replied to my post. I'm still making OC don't worry. For this and all upcoming tournaments. And I still have fun, mostly. Just needed to rant a bit. My apologies.

Can we trace any resemblances found in these posts to NSA's speech pattern? I would make special emphasis on the phrase "my target audience", which in the position of being a tourney campaigner only strikes me as something utterly bizarre to say.

I'd also like to see more ties between the two. We don't need a definitive smoking gun, but there still seems to be a missing link on NSA and OFA actually being the same person. Some of the assumptions here seem to be over specific character overlap or just the two clearly having some actual artistic skill. For one example, OFA clearly has real talent in coloring. Can we actually link NSA to that specifically?

Something else that confuses me is how OFA has clearly tried to branch out with picks each tournament, which contradicts statements NSA has made about being very out-of-the-loop on vidya culture. Granted, you don't need deep knowledge to be familiar with Midna or even Bayonetta, but it's at least worth noting.

To clarify, it's very clear in hindsight that this is Onlyfans speaking. Just arguing over the NSA connection.

When NSA posted the Fang victory picture, it was a entirely unique artwork that was prior to that point not posted anywhere else. The Elite Eight picture, both versions are ad-verbatim what NSA claims the positions are for the characters, which wasn't even close towards being half-agreed.

There's also the interesting thing that OFA was never contacted by NSA nor does OFA ever bring NSA in any point despite directly drawing for NSA.
This can easily be explained by OFA being NSA as he'd have no reason to refer himself, as most people do.

OFA told me he really liked Amaterasu during the Bayonetta/Ammy round, and would be supportive of her if she made it through. I figured they just didn't draw for her because they were tired after that round, which is understandable, even the dedicated Ammy drawfag was too tired to make anything for during the loser's finals

You're still thinking too meta. Consider Kiryu outside of tourney autism. He's already popular outside of it.
It should be kept in mind tourney threads are, of course, not a universal, and what you get are certain individuals that are willing to do this or that for a specific character. One guy going all out for x character just means that character has some very vocal willing supporters. It doesn't mean a character is bad because no individual from a pool of thread austists want to go in for them. We've had plenty of heavy campaigns for literal who's but that doesn't put those characters above less vocal famous picks as characters. Just that tourney threads happened to drag in someone who was a fan for x.

I didn't elaborate enough on the artstyle but I brought up how OFA has a very dynamic artstyle, he can change the artstyle whenver he wants which leads to us finding out instead, how he draws.
We have clues on that too!
When black hat anon which we found is most likely NSA in disguise due to the doodles, there was this art piece
>https://desu-usergeneratedcontent.xyz/co/image/1665/37/1665379679719.jpg
It has near identical brush to this artpiece done by OFA
>https://www.deviantart.com/onlyfansart/art/Another-Betty-Boop-animation-893280805
There is also the fact that OFA is a animation fanatic, making gifs very frequently. One that caught my attention is the infamous "Rigging Stops, Seething Starts" which was funny at first but when thought out it is fucking oversight that fooled us all.

I'd honestly be happy, if as much evidence as says otherwise, OFA just went and said, "No, I'm not Nightshiftanon, nor any other host/judge". Just even a single post and the topic will be shut up, for me at least.
But they shouldn't have to be hounded for evidence either, I mean it should be innocent until PROVEN guilty, not "attack this guy until they can defend themselves". Also, this should be brought to the attention of the other hosts; there's a good chance they're in the dark about a lot of this, and being involved in the organizing process they'd be able to help share what they know and decide what to do next.

Bejita I would use solely as joke fodder/punching bag because not only is it funny, it's in-character for him to fail despite being theoretically stronger than Goku on many occassions

I worked so hard for Midna, man
I don't think I've ever outpoured such autism into a character before
To have it possibly revoked, because Nightshift personally liked her
I still like Hornet a lot too, but these kind of things always stink. It's ultimately shitty to both finalists, because one was "robbed" and the other was "undeserved", and this long after most people had made peace with the results

>2023: Muffet defeats Ashley Graham but only hours after the fact when it's too late to change anything does NSA reveal to the other hosts that he "accidentally" used the outdated numbers from when Ashley was winning.
Consider that Gardevoir is seen as at least furry-adjacent and Muffet is anthro (even if she's usually not seen as a furfag waifu), and suddenly it makes sense that NSA would have it in his best interests to prevent either of them from making it into the Elite Eight by messing with the official results.

Both established to be competent hosts (they're usually the ones who have to clean up after NSA's mess), they don't cause any shit and are generally responsive to any questions or concerns. They'll be hosting Tag-Team on January 5th, though if you want to ask them about what the hosting situation will look like for the main tournaments I suggest not doing it during Tag-Team since they'll be occupied and unlikely to address the situation as easily.
>Penisanon
>Ghost
Can't really say much about them since they don't say much themselves, I feel like they're more assistants than hosts. Penisanon did side with Balls during the Ms. /co/ losers bracket drama in objecting to NSA so he's got that going for him.
>Ballsanon
Competent and responsive, but unfortunately will likely not be returning unless whatever real life situation he has going on is no longer a big deal.
There's also "Cumslut" who has expressed interest in hosting and is looking to practice with a colors tournament on /tnt/, though there's not much to go off when it comes to him so far.
Either way, we have more options than you think. We don't need NSA anymore, not even for the mod's approval since as was established by one guy's post in Ko/v/ the mods actively do not want you bugging them asking to greenlight specific threads.

>The true issue is preventing rigging
You simply can't stop rigging with the current things used, and unless it's extremely blatant, the hosts can't truly know which votes are rigged votes. If they don't know for certain, then the hosts shouldn't touch the votes, else it just ends with them rigging instead.

>>78098
BottomAnon has to filter the bottom 128 because of the incompetence of the main hosts with the Google Sheets, he doesn't do a perfect job at it but they're less important and he still runs the Bottom tourneys well.
Bill's Barred is just funposting with him having fun making the forms, though they also started to have actual characters in them too. They're funny, but they are just funposts.
Dill hasn't hosted yet.

I don't think any of them would want to host the main tournaments, however.

DragonBall is WAY too powerful to even compare to DTVA. /dbs/ threads completely overrun /a/, and have largely overtaken the /co/ deathbattle threads. And even before that phenomena, /a/ was on fire with discussion and art (/a/ fucking hates art, ironically enough) when DragonBall super was airing. And unlike DTVA, generally has a much, much more positive reception, and not an insular echo chamber like DTVA. Hating the King Piccolo saga or the Androids saga is just contrarian. Hating The Ghost and Molly Mcgee is just good taste.
