>One of the main catches for me is that this all implies NSA is way more competent than you’d believe from some of his previous fuck-ups.
In retrospect, NSA willy-nilly sharing the same Discord he used to contact Dominos and Brackets back in 2021 is something that falls within his field of competence.

Let's not forget Tourney Anon/Numnuts attempted to become his co-host during Ms. /co/ 2022 under the name "LazyDay", and weren't it for anons here asking Black Hand because many of us were suspicious, he would have likely never been exposed before Mr. /co/lympus 2022.

While it is most likely that Shakara won't qualify it isn't that far out of the realms of possibility of Shakara making it in the brackets. Cinnibar Brenneka saw quite the support in the bottom bracket and I don't doubt that Shakara will make an appearance in the tournaments in the future.

You mean bottom bracket because that's what that is referring to? The Mr Loser's Bracket was a mess. It was good at first, but ended pretty badly because of lack of planning and a disaster at the end where the host of it gave up with the main tournament ending and had 4 or so rounds only last an hour causing profilic picks to lose by just a handful of votes and OC campaigners were still doing not being able to get done. Livesey was a good winner of it, but Jack O'Latern was robbed because his supporters admitted they didn't even get a chance to vote for him.

Ah, turns out I wasn't exactly misremembering when previously I said I could recall NightShift saying something about Fang losing to Desiree before the final hour. This was back when Numnuts posted these screenshots during Mr. /co/ 2022, from his time under the persona of LazyDayAnon.
https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/133552781/#q133552814
I think we should take these screenshots with a grain of salt since it's Numnuts we are dealing with. However, we do know via NSA's own word that he did talk privately with Numnuts while he was named LazyDay at some point, and frankly, I heavily doubt Numnuts is smart enough to know html or how to replicate NSA's speech.
There sure are some eyebrow raisers in these images, but I want to divert attention to this specific message from NSA.
>But I'm going to make some OC for the winner. Seems like I can already see her win.

Has anyone considered the possibility that the magma chat screenshot was photoshopped? Accusers have done this type of thing before on other sites to different people and some have had it out for Onlyfansart since the /v/ tournaments because of the muzzle art of Amaterasu that made people upset getting pinned on her. The autistic reactions and the things the Erika avatarfag said in the King of /v/ Afterparty when exposing Onlyfansart makes it so I could see someone go this far. I'm not saying the screenshot is no longer viable to mention and I know there is other evidence, but I want to bring up the possibility the chat itself is fake and that the screenshot is not the definitive proof of guilt.

Very early predictions for this year's elite 8 and how they'll do in 2025:

Ms.
Eris, Toph and Raven are perennial favorites, even odds for one of them to take the crown. Harley and EVE could return, even though both of their runs this year were kind of fluky (sympathy and silent campaigns, respectively). Alex and Clover, as great as they are, probably won't make it this far again.

Mr.
Hank and Jack are almost assuredly returning. Zim, Optimus and SpongeBob had their breakthrough years and could also find their way back in if not this year, then some future year. Like Harley, Dale was hard-carried by the death of his voice actor, and I just don't see Farquaad returning for the time being.

Eris is probably SHIT and FINISHED zoned.
Raven can nake E8 again but is simply never taking the crown if she remains silent. Purely silent characters cannot win at this point.
Toph is a favorite and in theory could/should win of she brings the same energy as this year. But ms. is too weird and hard to predict and a legacy powerhouse winning is too sensible.
Hank and Jack could definitely win. It’d be overdue for both of them. Zim too. If runner up curse is ever getting broken it’d be from Mr. /co/. I kind of doubt it though.
2025 will be the last year to make super all stars btw.

These are actually quite easy.

>Eris
I will say she’s not the biggest character to hit Elite Eight three times in a row and I’m even more skeptical she can return to finals immediately again. Still, she’s a huge vocal favorite and very notably the only one from 2021’s controversial line-up to return to E8 this year. (Bellum put up a fight at least.) Barring awful luck, either she returns or gets closer.
>Toph
I don’t see her losing relevance and her stigma is largely dead after this year. If she has similar energy next time, then she’s one of the safest shots to Elite Eight. Could even win if people crave an old favorite in year eight.
>Raven
While not quite as vocal as the above, basically everything else applies. She has the added caveat of her unfortunate 2019 loss.
>Harley
She’s not going away, but not sure if she can keep translating that into support. Harley will most likely keep acting as a filter and maybe return to E8 again with enough luck. A huge campaign could make it a safer bet, but as of right now that’s not the case. She also had a real-life event to boost her this time, as stated.
>EVE
She’s among the strongest silent picks, but that also keeps her from being invincible. I feel her bracket this year was among the easiest to plow through and she still got hit with 8th.
>Alex
She seems to be the main favorite from TS, yet I feel it will be hard to get the show back in E8. Still, if people try campaigning it’s at least possible.
>Clover
I really wasn’t expecting the double dip this year. Not counting out a return, but she seems even less likely than Alex. Still, she does have lead bias.

>Zim
He’s a consistent favorite and only has one real fluke loss against Dan Backslide. Otherwise, he plays with elites and could definitely return unless any stigmas actually ate at him (see end of last thread).
>Jack
I think he could outright win. It will take serious effort to take him down.
>Optimus Prime
He had one of the most positively-received runs this year. I see him qualifying consistently going forward and could see another strong run next time unless he gets unlucky.
>Hank
Slightly less durable than Jack, but another strong pick to win in year eight. Feel runner-up curse won’t matter much here.
>SpongeBob
He’s proven himself to be actually potent, and coming off Squidward’s run last year seems to point in more interest in his show doing well in at least Mr. /co/. He’s not as concrete as others and would need some campaigning again, but I feel SpongeBob will at least do alright once he returns.
>Dale
He had a fun campaign last year that sadly got muddled by fears of pity voting this year. Dale is still a fan favorite and won’t be forgotten, but I do think his cons will keep him down. Smaller chance he could also be hit if he’s absent from the revival AND said revival is actually a hit on /co/.
>Farquaad
Much as I enjoyed his campaign, I feel he may be one-and-done.

Really, I’d say the first three from Ms. /co/ and first five from Mr. are all on the table to watch.

Considering Midna threads pretty regularly hit bump-limit,people were rooting for her comeback from 2021, she got top seed TWICE, Twilight Princess is a very well known game, and her Manga had just ended early that year to huge praise (She kisses Link), I think she got the crown legitimately. Yes, this is the correct way to vote. This isn't a roleplay contest chosen by /tnt/ and discord.
It's based on a character's longevity, strength of content, strength of personality, and how greatly the represent the board and the medium. That's how voting was done in 2018 and how it was done in 2023.
You want this to be /v/ where they choose literal who indie games no one heard of because a Discord directed their userbase to vote and post fanart. That's not what this competition is

No one "needs" to do anything but vote. What you're ultimately voting for (or should be at least) is your favorite and preferred character, and that goes for the whole board, not just tourney autists (/tnt/ tourneys being the exception of course cause everyone here is a tourney autists). OC and campaigning adds a lot of fun and gives certain characters sway and narrative, but it shouldn't turn into a meta circlejerk or be solely based on engagement (like NSA tries hard to push). Stuff like voting for a character you know jack about but purely on art as some kind of meta statement >>77713 is unironically being a campooner. Like you may as well give Hex QoV.
That being said pretty much all characters that get far do have some sort of vocal support. There's been an annoying trend out of this philosophy in recent years that anyone not getting massive constant support or was already a pre-disposed campaign favorite is silent, or a bad character because of it. It got especially annoying last KoV. Like look what happened to Kiryu.

that really only seems to be a king /v/ thing, and only since the 2021 Schizo alliance
I mean, Samus, Reimu, Midna, and Curly Brace are all largely well-known characters. Recette is the only odd one out.
Armstrong and Dante are indisputibly beloved vidya characters. Batter is debateable, that seems to be more of a case of popularity that peaked a long, long time ago. Jack and Grimm are the only real "v-core" winners that few people outside of that board would give a shit about, and at least they both got a lot of art
That being said, it'd be wise to strategically spitevote against AM if you want a normal fucking vidya winner again, because you just KNOW that fucker is going to sweep through on account of "The schizo hype" and "le OC underdog". Him, Batter, and Grimm were by far the biggest proponents of that very specific alliance and people are going to want to "complete the saga". Fuck that, Batter and Grimm completed it. Let it rest. The finale being just a shameless barely-in-character rehash of 2021's finale was the worst part of Grimm's run, which is a shame because beyond that I like the character. But whatever, it's over now. Let's keep it that way.
Also the Schizo alliance really doesn't make sense for AM, considering his more iconic word is "Hate", and the "Allied" in "Allied Mastercomputer" meant he used his "alliance" to fool every country in the world into destroying themselves.

It's a difference philosophy wise on who a winner should be.
I don't think /v/ picks good winners and I don't think they even think about who they are voting for and why, just who at the moment is making the best art or especially spamming the threads the most. They don't even think about stuff like loser's bracket and what that might entail, just that it's more wild or unique. And a lot of their picks are based of the "craziest schizo posts" even if the character is insanely obscure and irrelevant, especially the last several years.
/co/ actually thinks about who should win and why, and in almost all cases it follows that to a t and the one that didn't was already found as rigged by outside influences. Even Zorak, /co/'s designated campaign winner, has very legitimate connections to the development of the medium and representation of the board to be justified as a winner.
I think /v/'s tournament picks are the worst of what a tournament could be and that Discord drama exemplified why their tournaments are lacking.

Alright, my somewhat half-assed unprofessional research on NSA has reached conclusion.

The Major Confirmation:
>NSA is OnlyFansart.
I am not sure why people doubted this in the first place.
>How did I reach this conclusion
The discord name TabithaTwitchitt#0314.
No, there isn't a double persona, NSA is one person. ONE PERSON. We have no proof or evidence of a second person being anywhere at all in all of this.
We have solid proof that NSA has actual capability to draw, main proof being this art piece
https://desu-usergeneratedcontent.xyz/co/image/1665/39/1665391318573.png
It is a doodle but this is literally enough for me to deduce that NSA was the same person as the black hat anon/OnlyFansart.
Note the wide fingers and hands, sharp lined arms, and relatively thin twink torso NSA drew. It is basically synonymous in art with another doodle piece made by black hat anon
https://desu-usergeneratedcontent.xyz/co/image/1665/37/1665375501888.jpg
So without a single doubt, NSA is OnlyFansart.
A note: NSA or OnlyFansart is a incredibly talented artist and his artstyle is very dynamic as he is capable of changing his artstyle depending on the shows he's trying to mimic with very good results.

>Does this mean NSA is rigging
I don't know how to bring this to you all, but he was rigging since y'all gave him the permission to take out the rigged votes out.
Him giving the second place to Chel (another great point on OnlyFansart being NSA as he's the sole artist to do so) despite Shirley being second, is by definition RIGGING.

What I actually fear is NSA launched a falseflag plan against the entire tournaments in Ms. /co/ 2022.
This is my hypothesis, but what I mean by this is that he intentionally rigged OR falseflagged the shit out of the furries into advancing so he could launch a false idea of making himself the messiah of the tournament, in turn gaining the trust of the masses into voting him to "remove" the rigged votes. Think about it logically, how the fuck does he know which votes are rigged or not? Right? But he knows when one of his mains is losing and we've seen the difference between the google docs and google sheet results as they were revealed in Queen /v/ 2022 and they were literally in the single digits. Enough to make a difference in close match up.

In the end, NSA has made basically a monopoly on these tournaments and he sees himself as the one who truly knows how a 4chan tournament is needed to be held, which is delusion in its finest.

As pointed out, there's also way less art of him on OFA's DeviantArt account compared to the others.

>what I mean by this is that he intentionally rigged OR falseflagged the shit out of the furries into advancing so he could launch a false idea of making himself the messiah of the tournament, in turn gaining the trust of the masses into voting him to "remove" the rigged votes
I do still think the whole furry targeting was strange, but at the same time it's a harder assumption to claim it was all to benefit his image. That's not even to mention that it failed spectacularly if that was the case.

Hasn't it also been shown that he barely even changes votes? Yeah, you could argue it only works in fringe cases, but it's also fair to assume he simply isn't all that good at picking out genuine rigging.

My main problem with all this is that there's a lot of assumptions being made. It also seems to largely focus on Ms. /co/ 2022 in particular, which was actually right before the direct form results stopped being open.

An anon in the past /v/ discussion thread alluded to a "2022 OC controversy" when debating over the lack of artists during the latest Ko/v/. At first I had no idea what he was talking about, until I recalled that while minimal, there in fact was some amount of controversy during the Ko/v/ 2022 semis concerning a drawfag who voiced complaints over their work not being noticed and not receiving proper engagement as a result. This went on for a little while until anons deemed them as attention seeking and moved on.
Welp, now I realize *that* drawfag was Onlyfansart. Someone inquired if they were the artist who was working on the Midna E8, to which they replied that yes they were.

https://arch.b4k.co/v/thread/621424694/#621432643

The discussion went something like this:
>OFA: Not going to lie, the /v/ tournaments this year really deflated me from doing OC. I constantly get 0 (You)s and my main loses anyways. I actually had way more fun making OC for the /co/ tournaments actually. Felt like it mattered more. Sorry you had to hear me complain so much like a woman.
>>You should be doing it for fun. I have made many things and most of them only got very few (You)s. Someone doesn't need to reply to you to enjoy it.
>OFA: But they should reply if they want to keep seeing more. It's disheartening to work for hours on a piece then get no love. It's not even about the number of (you)s. It's if your piece was seen and appreciated for your campaign. Otherwise you might as well be screaming into the void. How effective is your campaigning if nobody even cares enough to say. Oh cool. How fdo you know it impacted anyone? The AM draw/writefags were told they had no campaign.
>>let me guess... beginner?
>OFA: No. But how many amazing pieces do you think you can get out before a round ends? I've been animating the Queen /v/'s win screen. I can't get out high quality stuff because 1 HQ=12 LQ. Memeing is the unironic way to win.
>>anon what do you expect coming here? do you expect praise? being told about how "good" you are at making oc? do you need clout to survive or are you here to have a good time? who cares if your character wins or loses, the point is having a good time with the anons, you can still show your support even if your character lost
>OFA: Anon, if there's no engagement then where's the fun for the artist? It's not about praise. It's about knowing if you are drawing for an audience who even notices your efforts. You have to remember artists aren't in the threads participating in discussion. They're drawing. If you think working hard at something and getting ignored is fun then I don't know what to tell you.
>>I understand making something to bring attention to your character, but you don't seem to be making things for the tournament for fun, so why are you bothering? Stop it, if you aren't having fun, just don't do it.
>OFA: I made several pieces for fun. I've been drawing other people's character's for years. I did rolls for art. I don't know how long you take posing your models but it takes a while to get out something more than a shitty doodle. I was drawing Midna as a passion project for /v/. If no one actually cared for it from the start, I would have stopped. Why? Because if my target audience doesn't give a fuck then who am I making it for? Myself? Then there's no reason to post it here.
[...]
>OFA: Thanks to everyone who replied to my post. I'm still making OC don't worry. For this and all upcoming tournaments. And I still have fun, mostly. Just needed to rant a bit. My apologies.

Can we trace any resemblances found in these posts to NSA's speech pattern? I would make special emphasis on the phrase "my target audience", which in the position of being a tourney campaigner only strikes me as something utterly bizarre to say.

I'd also like to see more ties between the two. We don't need a definitive smoking gun, but there still seems to be a missing link on NSA and OFA actually being the same person. Some of the assumptions here seem to be over specific character overlap or just the two clearly having some actual artistic skill. For one example, OFA clearly has real talent in coloring. Can we actually link NSA to that specifically?

Something else that confuses me is how OFA has clearly tried to branch out with picks each tournament, which contradicts statements NSA has made about being very out-of-the-loop on vidya culture. Granted, you don't need deep knowledge to be familiar with Midna or even Bayonetta, but it's at least worth noting.

To clarify, it's very clear in hindsight that this is Onlyfans speaking. Just arguing over the NSA connection.

When NSA posted the Fang victory picture, it was a entirely unique artwork that was prior to that point not posted anywhere else. The Elite Eight picture, both versions are ad-verbatim what NSA claims the positions are for the characters, which wasn't even close towards being half-agreed.

There's also the interesting thing that OFA was never contacted by NSA nor does OFA ever bring NSA in any point despite directly drawing for NSA.
This can easily be explained by OFA being NSA as he'd have no reason to refer himself, as most people do.

OFA told me he really liked Amaterasu during the Bayonetta/Ammy round, and would be supportive of her if she made it through. I figured they just didn't draw for her because they were tired after that round, which is understandable, even the dedicated Ammy drawfag was too tired to make anything for during the loser's finals

You're still thinking too meta. Consider Kiryu outside of tourney autism. He's already popular outside of it.
It should be kept in mind tourney threads are, of course, not a universal, and what you get are certain individuals that are willing to do this or that for a specific character. One guy going all out for x character just means that character has some very vocal willing supporters. It doesn't mean a character is bad because no individual from a pool of thread austists want to go in for them. We've had plenty of heavy campaigns for literal who's but that doesn't put those characters above less vocal famous picks as characters. Just that tourney threads happened to drag in someone who was a fan for x.

I didn't elaborate enough on the artstyle but I brought up how OFA has a very dynamic artstyle, he can change the artstyle whenver he wants which leads to us finding out instead, how he draws.
We have clues on that too!
When black hat anon which we found is most likely NSA in disguise due to the doodles, there was this art piece
>https://desu-usergeneratedcontent.xyz/co/image/1665/37/1665379679719.jpg
It has near identical brush to this artpiece done by OFA
>https://www.deviantart.com/onlyfansart/art/Another-Betty-Boop-animation-893280805
There is also the fact that OFA is a animation fanatic, making gifs very frequently. One that caught my attention is the infamous "Rigging Stops, Seething Starts" which was funny at first but when thought out it is fucking oversight that fooled us all.

I'd honestly be happy, if as much evidence as says otherwise, OFA just went and said, "No, I'm not Nightshiftanon, nor any other host/judge". Just even a single post and the topic will be shut up, for me at least.
But they shouldn't have to be hounded for evidence either, I mean it should be innocent until PROVEN guilty, not "attack this guy until they can defend themselves". Also, this should be brought to the attention of the other hosts; there's a good chance they're in the dark about a lot of this, and being involved in the organizing process they'd be able to help share what they know and decide what to do next.

Bejita I would use solely as joke fodder/punching bag because not only is it funny, it's in-character for him to fail despite being theoretically stronger than Goku on many occassions

I worked so hard for Midna, man
I don't think I've ever outpoured such autism into a character before
To have it possibly revoked, because Nightshift personally liked her
I still like Hornet a lot too, but these kind of things always stink. It's ultimately shitty to both finalists, because one was "robbed" and the other was "undeserved", and this long after most people had made peace with the results

>2023: Muffet defeats Ashley Graham but only hours after the fact when it's too late to change anything does NSA reveal to the other hosts that he "accidentally" used the outdated numbers from when Ashley was winning.
Consider that Gardevoir is seen as at least furry-adjacent and Muffet is anthro (even if she's usually not seen as a furfag waifu), and suddenly it makes sense that NSA would have it in his best interests to prevent either of them from making it into the Elite Eight by messing with the official results.

Both established to be competent hosts (they're usually the ones who have to clean up after NSA's mess), they don't cause any shit and are generally responsive to any questions or concerns. They'll be hosting Tag-Team on January 5th, though if you want to ask them about what the hosting situation will look like for the main tournaments I suggest not doing it during Tag-Team since they'll be occupied and unlikely to address the situation as easily.
>Penisanon
>Ghost
Can't really say much about them since they don't say much themselves, I feel like they're more assistants than hosts. Penisanon did side with Balls during the Ms. /co/ losers bracket drama in objecting to NSA so he's got that going for him.
>Ballsanon
Competent and responsive, but unfortunately will likely not be returning unless whatever real life situation he has going on is no longer a big deal.
There's also "Cumslut" who has expressed interest in hosting and is looking to practice with a colors tournament on /tnt/, though there's not much to go off when it comes to him so far.
Either way, we have more options than you think. We don't need NSA anymore, not even for the mod's approval since as was established by one guy's post in Ko/v/ the mods actively do not want you bugging them asking to greenlight specific threads.

You simply can't stop rigging with the current things used, and unless it's extremely blatant, the hosts can't truly know which votes are rigged votes. If they don't know for certain, then the hosts shouldn't touch the votes, else it just ends with them rigging instead.

>>78098
BottomAnon has to filter the bottom 128 because of the incompetence of the main hosts with the Google Sheets, he doesn't do a perfect job at it but they're less important and he still runs the Bottom tourneys well.
Bill's Barred is just funposting with him having fun making the forms, though they also started to have actual characters in them too. They're funny, but they are just funposts.
Dill hasn't hosted yet.

I don't think any of them would want to host the main tournaments, however.

And even before that phenomena, /a/ was on fire with discussion and art (/a/ fucking hates art, ironically enough) when DragonBall super was airing. And unlike DTVA, generally has a much, much more positive reception, and not an insular echo chamber like DTVA. Hating the King Piccolo saga or the Androids saga is just contrarian. Say, wouldn't the biggest, but fairest, and most honest, "Fuck you" to our one true enemy, Nightshiftanon, just to make a factual, honest Elite 8 chart for Ms. /co/ 2022 and spread it around to replace the fake and gay charts? Think about it

>Chel being in 2nd is a big fat lie, because it explicitly entails that she faced off against Fang in the finale, and lost. That never happened. Chel never got to go against Fang. It's wholly dishonest against her run
>Even if Shirley's run to the finals was unusual at best, she still garnered a lot of support and art. She might never get such a run again, but I still see Ms. /co/ images such as "Small medium with large laughs" of her posted. She DID face off against Fang in the finals and anons drew art to reflect even if Niggershit rigged it against her. At any case, she doesn't deserve the asterisk. She certainly did more good than a different finalist of that year, Jack Frost, and nobody dared to give him an asterisk.
>Nicole Watterson and especially not Mrs. Brisby deserve the asterisk either. Especially when you consider whole threads were overtaken with Nimh discussion, with anons discussing the film, the book, and the merchandise. And a friendly, bittersweet match against Fang to end it all off. She also got a lot of art made for her, absolutely doesn't deserve the rigger mark. Neither does Nicole. Maybe the support wasn't as overt, but TAWOG is a pretty popular /co/ discussion topic. Frankly, unless we have Spinel 2.0 I don't believe anybody deserves the asterisk.

I think Grievous, Fang, and Zorak are all safe as far as big rigs are concerned seeing as they all have official forms results open. Yes NSA was biased towards Fang but realistically he didn't even need to rig that match, Shirley was never going to win.
It's every tournament from Queen of /v/ 2022 onwards that should have people worried, as that's when NSA stopped allowing people to see official numbers and instead started using the documents. So that means that supporters of Midna, Jack Garland, Wuya, Skeletor, Curly, and Grimm have no way for sure of knowing with certainty whether or not NSA rigged their picks; especially Midna and Wuya since those have been established as NSA/OFA's favorite picks and thus the ones he would be most likely to rig in his favor.
As a Midnafag I find that especially worrisome seeing as how the Finals match was very close; he could've pulled the same crap he did with Gardevoir vs Morrigan and conveniently removed enough "rigged" votes for Hornet for Midna to win. A lot more worrisome than Wuya since as we know Eris was also a favorite of NSA/OFA so you could argue he had no real preference and thus no reason to rig.
And that's only for the winners; there's also things like AM supporters having to worry about being spite rigged against since NSA clearly is spiteful towards him, or semi-finals like Raven/Toph and Optimus having to worry about NiggerSA rigging in favor of his preferred picks. Hell I was maining Doof this year and now I have to wonder if his loss against Zim (another NSA/OFA favorite) was legitimate or not. Shit's a mess

Honestly none of the winners do, nobody wants to be asterisked and people really don't want their work to have been for nothing. Pretty much every recent winner has gotten a lot of art and love.
Like losing is one thing. It's a game with 128 participants and one winner, you have in theory a less than 1% chance of winning, and considering we're not doing these damn things for 128 years most characters will just simply never win. It's expected.
But what a gut-punch to have the very real possibility of it all just being Nigshit playing a cruel game of either "The winner you thought you helped push to the edge with your art, autism, and love? It was a lie. I happened to like them". or "The finalist you worked so hard to get to the very end? Sorry, they're losing now because some of their supporters criticized my hosting decisions" is so, so cruel.
Maybe he revealed a little too much in that infamous "These are my tournaments" post. What if, without really thinking about it, he told us they really ARE his tournaments, and we're just manipulated to go along with it?

Actually, riddle me this. What if the Bayofag is NOT actually OFA? Yes, there’s some stylistic similarities, but are they really one-for-one? I remember that one singing animation never got finished after the anon admitted to being demotivated after her loss, so what if it was the same person? By delinking the two, this might explain the unexpectedly vast margin between Ammy and Bayo in SF if results COULD be tampered. It also furthers this person being way more familiar with /co/ content.

WAIT
The original Erikafag connection that started this entire journey: They pointed out that the person that put the muzzle drawings on the Booru was also the one that put a bunch of OFA art on the Booru as well. We were simply in willing ignorance at the time, because that was the only evidence, and we didn't want to throw what we believed to be a friendly drawfag under the bus. But now that all of these connections have been made, it might be worth revisiting that.
The uploader that put the Muzzle drawings onto the Booru, weren't they the same one uploading the OFA art as well? What else did they upload, how deep does this rabbithole go?

Okay, again. I have some information that may be relevant, but the only evidence I can provide is word of mouth because I never thought I would have to screenshot this. In the Queen Afterparty, I was drawing with someone I think was Onlyfansart and a few other drawfags. Here's the magma link: https://magma.com/d/JhnTbkXBKC
What I remember.
>the drawfag I think was Onlyfansart was drawing that weird Bayonetta in the top right corner while I was drawing the Kiyotaka and Louie and the Rayman and Globox (The reason I had multiple names is because I was drawing in incognito and closed the tabs at one point when leaving for a bit, but I don't remember if it was before or after we stopped talking. The reason the names are so different is because I didn't care.)
>i got curious and decided to talk with the drawfags in the chat (only a few of the people that drew in the magma were present at this time and I will not specifically say who to keep them out of this drama)
>it was a pleasant conversation mostly between me and the drawfag I think was Onlyfansart that went on for hours talking about our mains, how the tournaments were going, and how we were both slow at drawing
>the part I think is relevant is that at one point, she mentioned that she will miss Wuya now that she won and hopes Black Hat never wins to have someone to still draw, thinking that winning isn't that important
>the Wuya x Zim afterparty magma art was brought up and she said she only drew that because those were her mains and she had no ill intent
>we talked about Resident Evil at one point and what I remember from that conversation is that she mentioned she likes the series for how insane it can get, the memes like Chrisposting, and I think at one point I mentioned I thought Leon could sweep King and I haven't played the games, but I don't remember if Wesker specifically was mentioned. (This is the part I screwed up the first time I posted this. I somehow ended up mentioning Leon vs. Chris in the post which hadn't happened yet at this time obviously.)
>we talked about NightShiftAnon at one point and I said how I thought he ruined the tournaments this year while she said she thought some of the hate was overblown
>we talked about the rape OC like the Grimm and Yugi stuff
I swear I am telling the truth from what I can remember, but my memory is bad.

That said, there’s still some holes. For example, not uploading the Fang win screen to DeviantArt would be strange if the Midna one was fair game. It is possible that NSA did that as speculated and the two aren’t the same person, but at the least this furthers what Onlyfans have clearly done.

NSA let Shirley go to the final round, then “disqualified” her after the tournament was over, and declared the final four placements by fiat. this goes beyond tampering with the votes or getting outside help to sway the results. this is a level of fuckery at which tampering with the votes no longer matters, because the results no longer matter.
you can say Fang would’ve won anyway, but that’s a moot point when the entire final round was a complete farce. Nightshift was never going to let Shirley win. even the rules referendum was a sham, since Nightshift made a poll asking people if he should discard votes and then discarded the votes telling him not to discard votes. (for the record, I voted for silent removal. I just think it’s bullshit to poll something when you’ve already made up your mind.)

Granted, at least three (Tom, Zorak, Kronk) are technically villains but are very questionable ones at best given the roles they play and how they wildly vary, and that might be hard to distinguish.

You can't really bring the same arguments that were used on /v/ on the same things that are on /co/.

/v/ characters are mostly driven around aspect of fun and memorability, characterization is only ever secondarily brought into the arguments.
/co/ characters entire shitck is their characterization and personality because they're in a medium where people enjoy the franchises due to the narrative that they bring. /co/ champions mostly being villains isn't something to gawk at, villains are 90% of the time better written than main protagonists and at some extent more enjoyable too.

I think both are bad, both represent an invalidation of the board’s tastes. it’s the fact that 2022’s final round was fucked in more ways than just that which makes it worse. 2019’s final round was shit, but at the very least it had a final round where the votes determined the winner.
I’m not trying to say 2019 was good, I’m just saying that 2022 was worse.

That honestly makes the lack of variety in King winners worse because of how many different popular genres there are. How has there not been a FPS, platformer, or fighting game winner yet and instead the same two genres repeated twice with another winner being a mix of both? Queen has had platformer winners, a shoot 'em up winner, and even a business simulation winner while still having action-adventure winners and role-playing winners because Recettear is apparently part role-playing. You know things are bad when I'm unironically praising Recette. I'm not saying King's winners are bad, but I'm bugged by their lack of variety.

Alright, after taking another look and noticing the following posts, I believe there's a chance NSA/OFA is also the map anon, just like Erikafag claimed.

https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/133572373/#133574373
>Happy almost Halloween
https://files.catbox.moe/2zf0n1.jpeg (is that OFA's art?)
https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/133572373/#133574688
>Because we know it’s you faggot. You’re the same loser who ran to NightShift when you fucked up. Then cried about how you need him to help. You’re a colossal fuck up. You dragged these threads down with drama shit. Making it unbearable to post OC. That’s why I removed you from the map. I don’t want to remember you were here.

Let's compare the WIP maps for a second. For the record there were no other updates between these.
https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/133548798/#133548835
https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/133566296/#133569189

https://desu-usergeneratedcontent.xyz/co/image/1665/89/1665890584326.png
The tile with Numnuts has been replaced as that anon says. Under normal circumstances this would be a completely unsuspecting move since welp, it's fucking Numnuts!
But I think it's a strange ocurrence since as we all know the map only updates through submissions, and I have been unable to find the isolated A2 tile with Hades and EVE. This can only mean the original poster of the map is the person who changed the A2 tile.
And how interesting it is that they would post the second WIP near the end of the Finals part 1 thread, right before NSA would make another opening post after he had been absent for hours likely due to this:
https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/133548798/#q133551720
>Numnuts claims he has "behind-the-scenes stuff" about NSA to share with the thread
https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/133552781/
>the next thread takes a while to make. balls who wasn't even a host yet has to make it
https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/133572373
>NSA makes act of presence for the Finals part 2 thread

If NSA/OFA is map anon too, does that mean those screenshots Numnuts posted were legit, and he felt intimidated by them, with removing Numnuts from the map being an overreaction?

Worth pointing out this lgg user who is suspect of being NSA/OFA was the one who uploaded the Qo/v/ 2023 maps to booruplus

What is his beef with furry shit anyway, even if assuming he didn't make this post? Like, I don't really care for Lolicon but I don't lose my mind is someone posts a risque Shinobu, Megumin, Asuka or whatever when it's not derailing. Hell, a few of the more adult-slanted ones like Tatsumaki or Etna are admittedly pretty damn cute. If as example, the difference between the people that think Recette was underwhelming as a winner and Mado was better, and the people that go Ballistic at Recette and have to mention a certain drawfag at any given moment, he's definitely the latter when it comes to furry.
Is it pretty funny Loona won at a huge 2-1 ratio in the singular 4chan tournament he had no part in this year.... who also happened to be the same furry that had a drawing made of her growing a magical futa dick for the sole purpose of raping him, when he was being an asshole in a thread. Of the Mr /co/ 2022 elite 8s in 2024 how do you think each returning character is going to perform?
>Carl
Hard to say. He's beloved, but the recent Aqua Teen stuff hasn't had the greatest reception. However, he didn't even have an especially huge supply of art last year, and made it up to finals. With a seriously huge campaign, I think he could break the runner's up curse.
>Courage
Feels safer than Carl. He's definitely a safe classic, he had some stigma last year for not getting a ton of art. But that's a meta reason, not really a character reason. Like Carl, think he just needs a good push. Sometimes people just want a classic to finally retire, and considering how well Skeletor has been received as a similar "classic" winner, he could take it with the right push. Is also going to have the prime early to mid Gen-Z nostalgia
>Daffy
Beloved animation icon, but tends to get more done then Popeye. Wouldn't surprise me if he won.
>Grimm

These two feel similar enough to Courage in at least circumstantial reasons of beloved Gen-Z characters that I'd put them together with Courage. I will say, being lovable pessimistic asshole characters they feel like they have a strong chance to bring about the love of 4chan's naturally contrarian tendencies
>Max
Beloved but among a niche crowd. Had a really strong campaign last year. Feels kind of like a flash in the pan, like Farquaad. I'm not too sure about him. But if his campaign strength is the same it was in 2022, at least I think Elite 8 can happen again.

I remember the huge panic was that the Spinelfags were going to vote (or I guess rig) Steven or Greg to pair up with her but once that passed with them out it was just straight ass fun all the way through
Honestly my favorite tournament, the last where it was just fun and not NSA/Tourneyanon tier roleplay and "campaigning" like with their shitty-ass wedding, no drama (which puts it above 2018), no spitevoting or mindgames. You had to be there to get it and most weren't

Johanna is a less-than-middling in popularity inoffensive and wholly unremarkable MILF from a not-widely watched show on /co/ that no ever ever thought about tourney-wise until she swooped into E8 after beating the supposed mega powerhouse Frankie. If you don't know Ms. 2021 (like most Ms.) is rather notorious for having very bizarre and underwhelming (or perhaps "underdog") results. It's commonly supposed it was spite and metagaming taken to the extreme but in hindsight I'm more inclined to think it was mostly big rigging. The E8 was the weakest of any tourney ever and only Betty Boop came across as a viable winner by semi's. Johanna had the most campaing though, including one very dedicated drawfag on a wholesome campaign. Johanna lost by 10 votes.

Forms were open record the entire time, she was third place (losing to the winner by a few votes) in 2020 when NSA was not hosting and there was a lot of show relevance at the time, Fang was simply not going to lose that year and everyone knew it.
It's the same as it is now: The only blemish is that she didn't get her proper final match against Chel like it should have been if NSA cut the rigging crap earlier. But that's the same scenario if NSA is exposed or not and people will just take it as it is

I love Shake and I pretty much always vote for him, but he's kindof hard to work with. He's the most unrepentant asshole I've ever seen seen in a cartoon. Which on one hand makes him absolutely hilarious when I just want to laugh at edgy nonsense. On the other, that's kindof hard to make interact with your competition.
Like compare it to Skeletor, another asshole character. The Gmods of him running over the character with trains, or blowing them up is absolutely perfect, and possibly the most in-character yet appropriate campaigning I've ever seen. It's villainous, which is what Skeletor is. It's childish and silly, which again, is definitely a trait of Skeletor's. But it's not really "personal", or "dickish". He'd have anybody in his way run over by a train. It's not "cruel", like NSA repeatedly spamming his muzzle drawings in every thread is, you can laugh at it if you main loses to Skeletor because well, that's just skeletor.
Now Master shake, being in a crass, adult comedy that loves edgy humor, goes way farther than Skeletor. Certainly not in intensity but absolutely in malice. Like microwaving Meatwad's pet and making Meatwad cry. Yes, that's really funny if you're in the mood for black comedy, in a scene where you're supposed to hate him. But how do make that work in a popularity contest, where you want people to like you? Shake would've absolutely put the muzzle on Ammy if she was in ATHF, that's just normal for him. He's done much worse to Meatwad and Carl. But we saw how THAT went in a tourney setting.

I will never forget the "oh shit" moment when the Elite 8 was revealed and everyone who was spiting saw who they were left with.
If there was attempted rigging and taking out of heavy hitters it had to be for some character who eventually fell (the Hilda characters in particular had a heavy suspicion back then but they are so inoffensive they could have fit on that same realm of being under the radar) because most of those were just such random and unhostile mid-tier picks. If you think of the 8 they all mostly were such inoffensive and yet also under the radar choices that it really does make sense that people were thinking they could be taken out easier if left alone, or not thought of at all.
Betty wasn't coming out as the top choice until the semis when the remaining were even the safest of those

Ms 2023 was absolutely absurd, nearly everything besides Wuya, Eric, and MLATR that had big campaign presence was spited out, and then Tiff and Vexus were spited out pretty quickly afterwards. I've got a question about the whole NSA drama.

The magma session the screenshot is supposed to be from closed months ago, right? It's impossible to verify if the screenshot is even real.

When Erikafag tried smearing the artist he allegedly found, there was pushback almost immediately with people pointing out nothing was certain, but here everyone just seems to believe the screenshot's validity at face value. The main reason is probably that the artist is generally non-controversial and well-liked, while NSA has a bad reputation and people suspect him of everything. But that's a lot of stock to put into what could be just a funpost falseflag screenshot by someone looking to start drama, no? I'm just baffled everyone is taking it at face value and no one suggested the Discord in the screenshot could be faked by someone who knew about NSA posting it here before.

Just reiterating that most of the winners are likely legitimate even in a worse case. I did try to campaign Shake as an asshole in Mr. /co/ this year. I did one image like this each round of Shake maiming or killing his opponent with ironic rap writefagging going along with it. I didn't make it grotesque or anything with at most just having a bit of blood splatter and I wasn't going out of my way to talk down Shake's opponents all round besides the rap writefagging since I didn't roleplay that much. No one seemed to mind it. Skeletor maimed his opponents too. There are other ways to campaign Shake without being mean like his stupid ideas that get himself killed. Often times, being an asshole is what gets himself punished and killed. Shake beating Hades and Jack was part of the joke of the raps, but in reality, both of them would easily slaughter him. Also, the muzzle pics had no tournament relevant banter to go with them and was just insulting her fans which is probably why people got mad at them. There's a difference between having SHODAN put a muzzle on Ammy while calling her a filthy mutt and just drawing Ammy in a muzzle whining while calling her fans entitled every thread like what they did.

I always thought the Hilda camp was suspicious, the fact both of them made semifinals despite not overwhelming board discussion (and with the excuse of "bring me back to mummy" campaign they were doing), that they have TVA-tier crazies as fans both on and off /co/, that even if the board was majority for Betty is was only 10 votes close. And with 2022 being so obvious in what happened I would not be surprised they were taking the heavy-hitters out so that one of the Hilda girls had a clear win against weaker opponents which they got really close to with that final.
At the same time there has never been a single shred indicating proof of this so it's all speculation

Bullshit. Eris has gone off basically unscathed, Zim only had the cucking controversy until recent events, and Ammy's hate was even more of a minority than previous thought. Unless you're actually hyperfocusing on one or two shitters, all three have been fine. The only one who you could even argue has been shit on heavily is Eggman, and even that is largely just joking over his jobber status. A clear majority still quite like him.

Even with all this said, it's not going to change the characters generally being well-regarded and remembered. Johanna is not like that.

I do see an undeniable connection between OFA and NightShift, but I'm not sure that they're the same person. I just don't get how NSA could host the tournament, do all of OFA's drawings, AND do the map at the same time. I'd be more inclined to believe that OFA is one of the other hosts, probably ghost since they've been the longest(?) co-host and seldom post.

>>77721
If we're making very early predictions I have one. The hype for the 'tournament of champions' (i.e. a mini-bracket with the first 8 winners) is going to start having a noticeable influence over the next two years, and the meta-gaming of 'who would be a good addition to the champion's bracket/ who wouldn't be a jobber' will start influencing voters. It'll probably be mildly talked about next year, and then heavily talked about in year 8. I think these sentiments will mostly favor the old guard i.e. returning elite 8 members and FARTS.

Mr. /co/ is already the tournament that puts the most stock into picking the winners they think are worthy reps of both the board and medium, so the results won't feel different. But I do think the year 7 and 8 will be characters who have reached Elite 8 before; no newcomers.

Ms. /co/ is a lot harder to predict. I do think a returning Elite 8 will win next year, but that'll also be owed to people pushing for a traditional winner against the GLITCH-fags. Since Ms. /co/ is also spite city they will fight tooth and nail to not have another returning win and year 8 will be anyone's game.

Two things are going to be really interesting:
>Who's the first double-franchise winner (Vexus and Kuzco showed real promise)
>Who's the first runner-up curse breaker (Hornet could certainly do it, Eggman almost did it)
Whatever characters set those trends could REALLY bring some meta discussion to table. Especially when Raiden could potentially be BOTH.

Yeah. We don't know how far this all goes (and importantly whether or not results were affected). Even in a best case, however, this is going to really eat at Black Hat's prospects going forward. I think there's room for at least one newcomer in the /co/ tournaments. That said, I do agree that we're due for at least one more legacy pick in both, and could see either doubling up depending on how the brackets fall. It's also worth considering any big characters that have sat on the wings. It's harder to say on Ms. /co/, but when you go to Mr. /co/ there's quite a few options that haven't made E8 yet. Popeye, Scrooge, Kermit, Shrek, Shake, Donald, Livesey, etc. all come to mind. While not former elites, they all have some real legacy behind them (largely tournament in the last case).

Bro how do you think I felt, he told me personally he would've been supportive of her if she won against Bayo. Like sure, we're only human. You feel a little bitter, maybe you ran out of drawfag juice, maybe plans come up. I didn't oblige him to keep drawing, you should only ever draw what you want. But he certainly WASN'T too tired to draw Amaterasu in a muzzle, and then post amazterasu in a muzzle saying Ammyfags were shit, then post Amaterasu in a muzzle again saying Ammyfags are having a melty, then screencap any disfavorable posts of Amaterasu you can find criticizing the hosts on both /tnt/ and /v/ and post that saying "Why are Ammyfags having such melties", and so on. Like you said, it's the sheer pettiness of it all. You don't HAVE to like every character and campaign, hell I don't think you should. But the obsessive seethe of it all is comical. Imagine being that mad you devote such constant energy toward mocking a dog. I haven't seen that kind of obsession besides that guy on /v/ that loses his shit and posts Nikocado's asshole or horrible fanfiction if you're talking about a Zelda girl, but not his Zelda-Link romantic ship. This makes Seethe towards Recette or Spinel look tame in comparison, it's so unbelievably thin-skinned.

Imagine how disappointed Goku would've been if some BITCH like Frost was the last opponent in tournament of power, instead of JIREN.

The majority of qualifiers are clean, even those under a locked sheet. They match up with what /co/ has always voted wise (same characters in generally the same placing), and rigging the entire thing for 1000+ characters and their votes within a hour is insanely difficult.
It would be easy especially in 2023 (2022 as well? Forget if those ever were unlocked) to put in a few characters that they want while keeping the rest as was, especially if seeding didn't matter and there was no back sheet data. The Livesey/Mr Boss dilemma was seemingly a "mistake" to get the character through since the data was made public but potentially was a real oversight. Also he would have missed by a vote so it wasn't an entire assing of results

This girl, the protagonist of the webseries "I can't sleep". Not weird in and of itself that she just barely missed, it can happen to some niche favorites like Bandit Heller or Pale King. Only dissapointing, she got a bunch of cool spooky art from different anons. I have some interesting insight on a lack of evidence on a counter-argument.
In situations like these, I was sure there was bound for a contradiction to pop up somewhere but to my surprise there hasn't been one. To the opposite, since I made my relatively small detective work, anons have just found more evidence towards NSA doing some shady work or just supporting evidence of NSA being OFA.

I genuinely scoured through every single archived thread and most /tnt/ threads of 2022 and not a single moment was there ever a interaction or even a fucking implication that NSA ever even talks about OFA despite OFA directly drawing for NSA with solid proof... That is unless OFA is literally NSA.
This isn't even a case of burden of proof as there is genuine proof in the swathes to prove that NSA is OFA and is into some shady things while there is literally nothing to rebut anything. It is something that actually cannot just be swept under the bed by simple
>"Nah, NSA isn't OFA" by either party, they should properly rebut it somehow but not getting to know what powertrip NSA is in, I have doubts in my mind.

My guess is that he does actually try to work off the forms even with them being closed. This shuts down grand scale rigging, but doesn't excuse smaller incidents. People have brought up the qualifier rounds and the two Queen votes already, but there's other you could speculate over. Decided to compile any close matches from obvious favorites of OFA or NSA:

>Fang beating Desiree by 30 votes (same round Brisby rigging allegedly happened)
>Midna beating Alipheese by 22 votes
>Midna being Hornet bv 38 votes
>Wuya beating Velma by 12 votes
>Wuya beating Eris by 20 votes (with 26 less votes than SF)
>Black Hat beating Goofy by 24 votes
>Zim beating Optimus Prime by only 10 votes

Granted, a lot of these seem realistic and a couple picks (GLaDOS and Wesker) even seem to have won by definitive margins each time. Still, wanted to at least be thorough here. I'm feeling that Midna wouldn't make much sense with her only being a secondary and Fang's case would take some real sifting around to work (on top of the forms being open). There may not be any direct rigging, though if it did happen I'd wager either it's only been tested this year or what >>78762 basically said.

Wesker won by over 100 votes, so it wouldn't have actually changed the outcome. That said, it could have also been an attempt to make Wesker's win seem bigger, little as that would have mattered.
