Fake dronetist and kys. Besides that make it manticore if actual Y and Wyvern if mini Y. >All of these characters have drastically different different views of the world and issues with social interaction that in turn have sweeping impacts on how interactions with Akita play out >This is not helped by how the dialogue system options now describe what your character INTENDS to convey rather than what they actually say/do >As such options like "confirm her dronity" can now take many and varyingly effective forms >Forms ranging "listing off her her value as an asset complete with numbers and product comparisons" to telling her how "not bein a person ain't never bother me none" >As such, players have to manage not just her psychoses but their own character's as well if they want a to see Sapien/Sapien action >Nobody has managed a good ending so far >But that sure dosen't stop folks from trying >It helps that even the bad endings are interesting an uniquely character dependent >Who dosen't love seeing their Texan drag a Keeter into the labs promising to "keep ya furever" >The fact that the Sapien sex scenes are the most creative in the game dosen't hurt either

Plus if you want to get REAL interesting there's nothing stopping a DD from equipping/training ITSELF to support its teammates instead of fighting directly. Whether this is out of care for them or a desire to avoid pain by staying away from the front or even a desire to avoid hurting humans/drones directly the way the others DDs do is up to you. Likewise up to you is what you mean by "support:" a dedicated cooking DD is probably just as useful as one that specializes in point-defence.
I'm tired of post-solver crisis human government being generic helldivers-ass "killa all solver monsters rahhhh!!" bs. I want it to be more naturally post-apocalyptic. The chaos on Earth awakened the sleeping dragon known as the "federal government" which had been buried under hundreds of years of corporate rule. Now that the only notable human settlements are on the shithole wasteland planet known as Sulfur-6, they're slinking around in the shadows doing some Glow-in-the-dark-so-hard-you-get-radiation-poisoning shit to try and establish order and build something better than the dirty cargo container slums that most of what remains of humanity reside in. And that's not even talking about the clandestine BIG GOV experiments they were up to DURING the war. Some may have made things better, some may have made things worse.
>>330001 >keet now has a complex about being literally ugly enough to kill >now wanders around school in a full blown ski-mask every day like some cartoon robber

>>330004 Post war or during? Cause as far as I can tell outside of a few exceptions (Harpernon) the general agreement about the during-war government is "anyone and everyone is expendable" with at most the groundpounders believing the whole "oorah fight for humankind" bs.
Also isn't Holly and Caliburn Labs, not to mention CFL itself from cannon, exactly what you're describing?
>>330004 The highest human authority, depending on where you are, is either whoever is the seniormost refugee fleet commander within comms range of another refugee fleet, Mordak the Destroyer (he doesn't rule Grug Planet, but he rules more of it than any single other chief), or the personal Finger Slave of the Alpha of Alphas.

>>330004 Honestly I agree (even if not on the Sulfer-6 part because nobody catagorized the lore for that and now noone knows how Astheneth's setting is evsn supposed to worky anymore).
I get it's for comfy sentinel/DD sex purposes but there should still be SOME governmental/social tension beyond "why are DDs being treated like people now." There was some stuff a few threads ago based around Sentinel Allmind that at least started to tackle things but she got dropped when the thread ended.
>>330034 >Pepsi man offers anon’s wife pepsi, she politely declines and walks away wrapped around anon’s arm >PePsi MaN >Pepsi man opens a can of pepsi and puts it in front of anon’s drone >PePsi PePsi PepSi MAAAn >He pours the can on anon’s wife staining her dress brown. >The sticky liquid works its way though her pannels and sizzles on her core
>>330033 My mechanic uncle always said, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." So I don't wonder why my sentinel drone wife is pregnant. I'm just glad I'm having a baby. Even if it's a drone. I'd really like to have a human son.
all i'm saying is that I Do Not Care for Liquidators. they're a neat concept and all but every greentext/post about them is just "LOL just gibbed a solver sapien and got a boner??" like okay. anti-abomination task forces are a good niche but if all you're doing with them is a riff on the whole "Don't ask a white supremacist what race his girlfriend is" joke and acting like it's Helldivers and/or DRG then you're kind of failing to do anything interesting with them.
>>330038 >Anon is infuriated, his fist is enveloped by pepsi man’s face as it deforms from the blow >PePsi Pep Pepsi Maaaaan >The chrome thing, scrunches a pepsi bottle spraying anon with black teeth rooting tar >The sickly sweet taste, of processed sugar and acid pains his teeth as his lips taste the foul liquid
>mfw realise the setting my OCs reside in was made pre-episode 7/8 info reveal >Could technically still work because DD invasion/swarms weren't strictly elaborated on beyond "and then they were killing people on Earth." I dunnoe but a massive urban sprawl just seemed appropriate with the kinda characters I had rolling around in my head (and then luckily got sketches of.)
>>330041 >Anon looks up at the thing, having been pushed to the ground and trampled onto the sticky asphalt below >PEP Si MAN >It prepares a 2l bottle by shaking it in her face, her screen nearly being cracked wore it not a glancing blow >Anon is not a slob however and despite his drone sometimes preferring the natural taste of his mouth tucked a mint under is mouth >The refreshing pain of cold mint keeping his mind clear as he waited his moment
>>330040 so what you're saying is you haven't read any liquidator greentexts. you can't judge a concept exclusively by its funposts. if you did then nearly every character would exist solely for sex
>>329997 I've brainstormed on the general concept in the past (>>33214) but I could see there being a case for Cyn repurposing enthralled/loyal Witches into DD-adjacent minions that ostensibly qualify as "support"
>Allows for simultaneous deployment of Solver capable hosts across a single planet (or multiple planets) without the need to micromanage them via possession >Would still follow the general philosophy as Disassembly Drones (designed as appearing ostensibly refined, but actually deliberately nerfed to more easily maintain control over them) >Could operate as front line agents for accomplishing specialized tasks, as back line Solver casters commanding and/or supporting other Solver puppets, or as hosts dedicated to doing any/all of the "BORING" Solver Stuff Cyn doesn't want to do (mass transmutation of matter into the pods & backup DD bodies necessary to attack a planet, coordinating said assets across space towards said planet, etc.)
>>330047 >you can't tell but this berry's ready to burst >ready to burst into a hundred bugdrones that is >but (you) knew the risks when you clanged the parasite, right anon?

I want to get a job but my DD V wife won't let me She says that humans belong in the kitchen while the drones make bank She makes a living as a mercenary out in the space boonies and I know she won't die permanently but I always worry about her Should I try to get a part time job whenever she's out on deployment?
>>330054 >A worker drone, is a piece of industrial equipment while fragile and brittle in body their strength allows them to ben steel in the palm of their hand >A thick viscous concentrate syrup eroded all taste for sweetness inside her mouth >PEpSiiiiii, Pepsi man screamed in suprise >A brown foam pooled from her mouth, then black liquid splashed her hollow eyed visor >Anon pulled himself and pounced on Pepsi Man, his tonge working the wound his wife had made for him >Peeeespsiiii maaaaaaa…. >Mint bloated its flexible form, the thing swelling >Anon grabbed his wife, who was stunned. Sheltering her from the blast behind them as he ran >*Pep* Pepsi man’s last will in this world was to do as he all ways did spread Pepsi
>>330062 >Anon sat on the ground, holding his wife waiting for her optics to come back online >Pepsi pooled at his feet as tears washed soda from her visor >Anon took his handkerchief from his breast pocket and wiped her face clean
Come on anon, hit us with whatever you got! These megaplex greens are thus far some of the only "civilian life during the Solver War" ones in existence and they've spawned subgreen already.
>>330065 >Her mouth opened, she spat out the wretched liquid, her eyes flickered to life as liquid poured from her seams >Anon lifted his wife to his lips as she weakly pulled herself towards him >His tongue normally sparring with hers cleaned her mouth >Anon broke the kiss as he felt his air run out >She got up, with his help, helping her along. >”Anon, its not as bad as it…cough…I pushed my tongue to… gluck…” >She spits out the last of the liquid that made it past her tonge >Anon pats her on the back, despite that not helping drones it does make his wife feel better >”….I blocked it with my tongue, so it wouldn’t get my core” >Anon knew that this meant she had to take the worst of that taste, his was strong. She did not give in >He knew that it was his duty to have a make-out session right here >So as to wash that taste clean
>>330066 >>330056 I'd need some time to really hammer out the details but >Left and middle are a trial run of automated law enforcement in the form of Riot/Civil Protector models (they decided to opt-in as volunteers for the retrofitting program.) >Naturally this causes friction between civilian populace/currently employed officers but department funding and mayoral bodies are looking to make cuts. >This issue extends to other industries but more on that later. >Right is assigned to the other two as a sort of insurance policy and vice versa. Naturally all of them have company brand kill-switches but all of their lives are riding on the success of their objectives. >DDs are effectively backdoored by the Solver but the prototypes the JCJIS cleanup crew found at the Elliot Manor were too valuable to ignore, so they made up their own designs and employed them as drone disposal forces >Setting was aiming to explore how this squad fit into a 31st century world with the problems human and drone natures bring. >Gangs such as Spikers, The KidSunz and corporate-funded New Year Circuitry goons cause considerable problems in the more under-invested areas of the city. >May also explore the integration of sub-cultures around human-drone communities.
It's not very developed but it was what I was going for initially. I think I even had a plot for a 'Chinatown' "episode" floating around after Dream BBQ released.
>>330044 Don’t worry anon. Take your time if you want. But if you are self conscious about your art, you can choose not to be. There’s noting wrong with showing us wips that you might not finish. In the end its your choice, but I feel that the anons wont judge you if you can’t draw.
>>330071 Not bad, I like that you want to put a serious emphasis on the life of a society of humans and drones. I think I'll have to write about this too, greens.
As I understand it, the action takes place after the war, right?
>>330081 Well the war wasn't actually a consideration at the time of conceiving the idea. It was only after episode 7 that I thought I could actually find a way to incorporate it into the setting. Really I can split it into post and pre-war timelines for the sake of telling a story but I suppose I'm getting a bit ahead of myself. Gotta focus on getting a concrete foundation in first.
>>330083 I’m the guy who uploaded the older ones. Most of them are small and quick to read, I didn’t find long greens in the thread I caped today. So I guess there’s noting to worry about.
>>330036 >noone knows how Astheneth's setting is evsn supposed to worky anymore it's simple. copper-9 is swarming with eldritch horrors roughly 7~ years after episode 8. (asenath lives here. yes, in combination with her backstory that technically chronologically makes her like, 6, but solver sapien aging isn't linear.) sulfur-6 is swarming with mutants and solver abominations after the witch that the solver used as a proxy literally fucking exploded into gore and formed a giant hellmouth visible from orbit, roughly 3 years before the events of the series (excluding flashbacks of course) obviously both being entirely different planets light years apart from one another is a roadblock for them interacting with each other, but they are both in the same continuity and there's some things i haven't drawn/written about that connect them.
>>330081 >I like that you want to put a serious emphasis on the life of a society of humans and drones That's the norm for greentexts here. It's not special.
By the way, a good example of the relationship between people and drones in the post-war world is shown in this green, where Pavo destroys an underground blood bar.
>>330100 A long time ago, a German dramafag started creating such crap that burgeranons didn't like it, and they said they wouldn't write any more greens about his OCs. So he started writing them himself, because the OCs were good, and of course, he changed the plots a lot due to his mental quirks. After a while, the oldfags started giving way to newfags, who didn't know these OCs were the brainchild of that drsmafag and started loving them.
>>330100 Liquidators discovered that if you dilute nanite acid with a certain amount of the neutralizer agents they're given, it becomes a tasty fizzy drink. And now we have Fanta. Which still uses the same ingredients. They milk DDs for Fanta. They milk the DDs.
Honestly there's nothing stopping even Human Holly from taking on at least part of that role in the post-war/empress timelines. After all she's clearly had a lot of fun down in Caliban labs and I doubt she'd be willing to even cut back on experimentation, much less much less stop it entirely. And when one considers that she also commands the absolute loyalty of all the "constructed" Phoenix-type sentinels...
Harper and similar postwar figures might need to tread lightly if they want to keep a civilization-destroying civil war from breaking out(because ultimately all other things, the human species included, are second to sating Holly's curiosity in her eyes). Maybe even loghtly enough to let her keep carrying out human/sentinel/DD/mutant/WD experimentation on innocent citizens. Dosen't hurt that this kind of resonates with how she killed her parents to avoid having any limiters on her behavior/research. I'd imagine given that backstory that she'd be power grabbing like a madwoman post-war and just not stop so that she can make sure bleeding hearts or ethics committees never limit her again.
>>330109 I could see such a Holly arising like Allmind or the Puppetmaster, maybe as a result of some kind of computer program intended to juggle huge amounts of information which develops self-awareness and constructs a personality for itself. Her primary defining characteristic is hunger for new information/experiences after all. In the end resistance to Solver influence does seem to be down to strength of will, which such a digital life-form would have to have if it were anything like the human Holly. Yknow that's inspiring enough that I think I'll write a little about it later.
>>330114 >this timeline's Dr. Holly was designed to be as smart as the worker frame allowed >in her free time, she designs supercomputers to plug herself into to make herself even smarter >after Uzi eats the AS, she finally has the breathing room to make it happen
>>330108 >>330113 >Holy... will you look at the size of 'em! >DD CC engages in a frontal assault against JCJenson mercenaries >her exaggerated gait is almost like someone running on the moon, with all the jiggling and nip slips that would be expected of such a thing >an anti-materiel round slams against her chestbags and bounces off with a comical 'whing' >CC's full, frothy milk jugs distract the humans while the rest of her team flanks from the side
>>330116 >DD CC vs Sentinel drone >the Sentinel immediately bootloops her >tries to claw her core out >core protected, *boing* and *wobble* occur instead >the Sentinel being a blue-blooded dronish man, he gets too distracted by her "physics engines" to continue >eventually bootloop wears off >CC sees opening, attacks! >Sentinel remembers what he was supposed to be doing >bootloops again >goes for the core as trained >*boing* *wobble* >this cycle continues until the rest of her squad finds the two >they punch through the Sentinel's back armor while he's "distracted" >CC 1 Humanity 0
all this drone holly talk is giving me ideas for a character utilizing a concept that has been floating around in my head for a while. need to capitalize on it NOW. lord let me lock in just this once.
I MIGHT have just gotten my excuse to get myself free from this affliction, and it might actualy result into some neat stuff if it works out. think I managed to finally 'click' together an idea of a 'True form' for Blus. And while not related to the topics of holly being discussed, there are some simaler topics that might be satisfactory
Cultist-anon, if you are even still here, gimme like a day or two to cook up a concept, youll get your machine god.
>>330141 >Standard behavior in the Doorman household >Only Khan does not partake >Price of wifeing the robotist >When he can get N alone he shows him the videos >This one won't be going in unaware like he did
>>330142 >Anon clangs the drone >so bad at it that no energy gets expended >gf has to run around in circles for an hour to clear her excitement since it's clearly not going to be satisfied >sorry Anon, you'll get em next time
>This will bite Uzi later >When N asks her what the meeting was about and all she can do is shrug >But for now, it's really nice to spend time with her daughter
>>330147 >>330139 a old character I had mostly retired. (whoever >>329214 is, likes bringing them up, im assuming thats cultist anon) Exists in the setting the reclaimer drones are in, pops ups in the AVRE greens sometimes, story goes is shes more or less a old ass machine god that fucked up to the edge of the galaxy once the solver showed up, vibes in secret with a human colony, and helped them prep to hold off solver forces by 'inventing' a few things, one of being the reclaimer drones
Was going to retire her because shes abstract at the best of times, and incomprehensible at worst, and generally just a pain to both draw and write anything about.
theres alot more to her i wanna do content for but she is just a complicated entity both physically and mentally im still kinda unsure what to do with her
So something close to the source of the Sentinel String then(or, at least, the Patch)? Does seem uber-difficult to write but we're always looking for new art. Good luck anon.
>>330155 >Aaaaaaanon I have an experiment to run >Lets see how effective these fertility supplements are >I have SO MANY theories about genemod inheritance!
>gf You are a disposable tool used to further her studies and nothing more. You would be tossed aside the moment she found a superior one, but she is far more inclined to simply push your limits, physically and in mutation alike, until you break. All just to see it happen.
>wife You are an irreplicable asset like breathing or science that she cannot live without. You amaze and surprise her in dozens of ways and most of all in how much "more" you make learning feel when you do it alongside her. She does not understand it but she cannot imagine life without you in it. She does not understand you but you complete her mind. You probably have your own pair of Sentinel bodyguards and are classified as a "VIP" by Union officials.
>>330157 >Anon is not a man of many talents >He is however, either incredibly lucky, sturdy, or a genetic freak. >That is the only explanation for how he made it out of the gf phase.
>>330160 >This is one of his most endearing qualities to her >After all, what better than a reusable test subject! >And what better way to make certain he volunteers than binding him to her! >... for some reason she wants to keep him away from the scarier experiments now though, she doesn't know why >And she's considering getting these heart palpitations she keeps having checked

>Holly unironically talks about how he's the "next phase of human evolution" to anyone who will listen >She's just as inordinately proud of him as she is of Elf >Doesn't understand why the other humans don't want to pair off with the "probably mutant" >Takes it upon herself to matchmake >Makes a realization after she sets up the date >"He's a human he has rights!" >"If he marries her he can leave!" >Panics >Now racing against time to craft a ring with her lab equipment and propose before the "tramp" sees marries the "apex human" like she obviously will >It's their first blind date
....
>She gets there too late >They've already gone to the ferris wheel, tunnel of love, all the scientifically optimal mating locations >She drops to her knees in despair >Then Anon walks up to her "Hey, what's up doc?" >She's on the verge of tears >Tries to blubber out a question about the date "Nah, I don't think I'll see her again, she wasn't really interesting, you know?" "Anyways you got any new tests for me?"
...
>Holly gets weak in the knees again, but for a different reason >Gives him "isolation analysis" so she has more time to think >He wants to be here? To keep testing? >He... thinks she's interesting to learn and test with? >She looks through her dataset >Obviously she can't just "stargaze," that's a pointless waste of time >... but maybe they can calculate the gravitational effects of all these new black holes on the movements of their solar systems together? >And of course, given the Solver's perception distorting effects, there would need to be a lot of analog data collection... >Yes, that will do >That and a remeasurement of his digits >She has to make sure the ring fits after all
>>330168 You know would Holly like Loony Toons? It may have similar plots that play out but they always play out via different ways and methods each time. Do you think she would treat it like a mystery show where her objective is to try and figure out how the episode will end from the buildup it does through its gags?
>>330173 how can people be so confidate while being completely wrong about something that is easy to prove could've taken 3 seconds to check and spare yourself the embarrassment
>>330129 >Loyal Solver Sapien who loves his human handlers and treats them like family >Only his direct caretaker reciprocates these feelings, whilst everyone else naturally views him with a mix of fear and disdain >The only reason high command entertains keeping him around is because of how uniquely useful he is to have on their side
Unironically reminds me of a character I'd made for a sci-fi tabletop game years ago
>>330182 >Super cuddly and loves his boss-lady >She uses his infatuation with her to get him to fight Solver shit, promising him a kiss on the cheek and whatnot

ENTER: EDITH >Drones have hardly been the only robots on the market. JCJenson has had many competitors over the years, all opting for more specialized models as opposed to the near-universal jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none applications of the standard Worker Drone. >Among these competitors was the industrial goliath "IMAGO Heavy Industries," a company specializing in AI-assisted heavy machinery, though that was not the limit of their products. Amidst their repertoire of automated bulldozers and excavators was a curious outlier - the "Genius Loci" brand of biomechanical supercomputers. >Masterworks of metal and lab-grown flesh, they were built to act as managerial overseers, lording control over anything from factories to entire city infrastructure networks. They were a great success on the market, being by far the most prolific product in their catalogue. Even JCJenson had conceded and installed a few within their own factories, as their attempt at making drones "manage themselves" had drastically blown up in their own faces (literally.) >When the Solver Crisis began, IMAGO Heavy Industries was one of many companies whose assets were seized by the Global Federal Government in the advent of Earth's destruction. Understanding that they were up against a foe with unlimited resources, the Feds knew that human minds alone were not enough to defeat their new adversary. They decided to devise something that would be able to outwit the Solver itself. >Edith is the result of their efforts. Not exactly the "perfect strategist" they were looking to create, but it's just about as close as they could get before the war ended. Unlike her commercial predecessors, she actually has a personality, something that was developed accidentally during her creation. Her components are modular, stored within large glass "canopic jars" socketed around her dedicated floor of the station located on the far edges of the Sulfur system. These modules are able to be disconnected and transported in the event of an evacuation. >She is an on-going work, having new organic circuitry installed regularly. She's ended up effectively being the pet project of many of the lead scientists and engineers on-board, and interprets that as a form of affection. Her sense of morals are a bit skewed by the people that have surrounded her ever since she developed personhood, and believes that anything "for the good of humanity" must be done at all costs. Therefore, she has no qualms with some of the more morally questionable experiments the Feds have done over the years... it's rough but i've had the idea of the Genius Loci bouncing around in my head for a while and had a bit of a spur-of-the-moment idea of making one a character.

Edith is BOXO's handler, but everyone knows that whenever BOXO is deployed, EVERYTHING within a 20-mile radius is considered "acceptable collateral" so 90% of her "strategic advice" to him is just: untitled
>>330137 >>330151 drew this in about 10 minutes, most of its bigger shape your not really meant to see, but you get the idea I work on this more tomorrow but my general concept of this think is that it usually anchored to whatever room its currently bending physics to fit in, but it CAN just detach itself and turn into whatever fucking dieselpunk contraption I so chose to design Ill try to redraw it into something coherent tomorrow maybe
>>330152 Yeah, reclaimer's, (outside the first few dosen) are all patched DD's, and the patches are all ether done directly by THIS thing, or by smaller, portable proxy machines that are usually in every Firebase reclaimers occupy
basically everyone uses the proxy machines, as noone but like 3 people know of blus's true form existing, but very occasionally some poor drone needs some special work done and gets brought down to Blus's 'funny little room'
>>330231 I feel like this misses out on a crucial detail of Keeter’s design. Namely, that she just naturally looks that way. There aren’t any traits she has that could be ascribed to a real animal
>>330233 I'm not sure if she'd go THAT far, but she probably would undermine their autonomy. Less "haha i don't think you deserve rights," more "if i don't lock them away to be experimented on for the good of humanity, they might go and become solverite filth! i'm doing them a service!"
>>330242 I mean, what does she even know about Solver-Sapiens? Until they get one locked in a test chamber they don't even have proof the things are sapient, much less independent beings from the witches that created them and not shackled in body and soul to the Solver like DDs.
>>330246 But don't mutant mimics do that? Heck, aren't there Macaws and Parrots that do? Screaming is no real evidence of personhood any more than eating is.

*Shncht* *Snap* >You’re in the safe zone now, should be Union forces only >Still, you prepare yourself to jump ahead as Micahel sweeps you behind him >Just in case >Your paranoia is almost founded as you round the bend >You see a full Solverpede body, telltale blue glow of a hologram near blinding as it shines down the way >Only, the blue’s not from the Pede >Instead some hulking mechanical titan, nearly a foot and a half taller than Michael, sits before the exit, blue shield on its chest and sensors bright as it rips a meat-core apart with its claws >You doubt your friends can even see the white coated man standing behind, taking notes in pad and pen >Still, it could be a trick >Michael attempts a hail “Attention base unit this is Liquidator team C2 leader reporting back to base with critical package, base unit can you prove reality?” “Roger that C2 leader, I was born on Orion-9; are you aware of the Solverform standing behind you? Over” “Yes sir base unit sir, this specimen is the package in question sir, extreme abnormal behavior worthy of intensive study sir” “You are aware we aren’t looking for Solverforms at this time, correct C2 leader?” “Roger base unit, specimen still demonstrates extreme divergence from standard Solverform behavior! Further analysis has been deemed crucial to the war effort!” “Visual confirmation on specimen as a unique Solverform, beginning 10th combat test on Solverform and cultists”

>By the time even your vision adjusts to the plasma bloom it’s already on the move again >Barely hampered by the missing arm, the skeletal nightmare half-dances across the now-boiling Solverpede corpse straight for your head >But it’s slower now >Camera flashes or not, the point-blank backblast seems to have literally melted half its sensors and severely damaged the wires of the remainder, leaving it “merely” lightning fast: must be hard to pivot on those pegs without them >What to do though >If it survived the blazer, then you probably can’t hurt it >But neither can your team >And you don’t need your head anyways do you? >Adrenaline response finally slowing, you put your whole throat into firing a cough rock >Direct hit! The condensed matter sparks against the thing’s metal face, going off with the force of a grenade >More interesting than that is what you see after… >You swore, more than just stumbling, the thing brought its hand to its face >Scratch that, scraped at its face with its claw, you can see the mark and damaged camera >Why? >You get your answer from a plume of flame to your left >Issac, bless his heart, must have reflexively pulled the trigger: what’s fire gonna do against this? >Answer a question apparently >The things entire target shifts, completely reorienting its focus on from your form to his >Turning its back to you in the process, even >This will hurt >But it’s all you need
>You use every body part you can as you throw yourself into the machine’s back >It’s almost not enough >The titan barely even breaks stride as you crash into its form and start slicing at the half-burned wires, simply slowing its momentum a heartbeat to claw straight through your legs in a twirl >This in no way stops its backswing from decapitating Issac >What does, however, is a sound *crink* >Ethan shot its last optic, you can tell >And not just because it’s moving like a drunken sailor either
>Joy turns to ash just as fast >The thing lances out with a kick, a kick! And you can hear Issac’s bones crunch >It swings arms and legs in what your team calls a ballet routine, what you call a search pattern, claws and pegs alike digging deep gouges into the sewer-system’s stone as it swings >You suspect the only reason you still live is that your weight is utterly forgettable against such strength >What now? >You’re all clearly dead if you don’t kill this thing first >But literally none of you have been able to so much as scratch its chassis after the blazer >You rack your brain for anything, any trick left >One comes to mind >The sensor-socket, it leads interior >But a warmachine like this, no doubt it has redundancies >You’d need to be SURE to destroy it entirely >You’ve only done this with parts before >Hands for a key, feet to fit boots >But it’s now or never
>Your form morphs >Chitin becomes flesh becomes oozing primordial soup >It’s agony >Worse than burning >Worse than sunlight >But if you don’t they’ll die >So you push through and push in >Worming your way through wires and between sockets, across circuits and through servos >Breaking and displacing everything you can until you find it >Under the shield >The core >A singularity locked inside a stabilizing chamber, just like a drone >Just like you, when you checked >You feel it more than see it >Reach out, engulf its glow >You smother the thing in yourself >You think it screams >But it dims, absorbed or dead has little difference >And and as it does, the machine finally comes to rest

I just want a war machine girlfriend who will exterminate my entire family on suspicion of betrayal by a ruthless capitalist state that wages war against God and justifies all its atrocities by citing the need to fight for humanity. Is that too much to ask?
She will execute your entire family on CONFIRMATION of betrayal thank you very much! Humans are far too important and valuble to lose! If, on the other hand, you and your family happen to be drones...

You remember, in her bad ending where they tragically die in each other's arms after failing Anon fails to break her out of her delusions! Since she's city buster he should be too!
Of course this completely ignores the entire context of the ending and the strong implications that she was holding back against him. The same for the fact that he was only able to meaningfully hirt her with the strongest weapon in his arsenal(and so if anything it should be the blazer that's city level, since anyone could use it). But what are powerfags if not good at ignoring context?

>>330337 No actual brown like chocolate brown and then a metallic paint on top of that, check out minisodes/miniscape on youtube they have a lot of painting guides for simpler/old school type of paint schemes and I think newer painters should try those instead of the eavy metal methods of today

I'm sure this lovely lass couldn't manage better with, say, even a cheap padding upgrade much less something like a DD conversion.
On another note flat plate is the patricians choice. Its perfect for holding cups AND use as a handhold for drone bothering. You can even get them inti piggyback position easier if you just train them to angle it right.

>>330388 I've had this idea for a long time and it's not related to the megastructure, plus I'd like to tell it in greentext form, so I'll refrain from spoilers for now.
But with the megastructure I have a couple of ideas with Harper!
>>330393 >New York City was always an eldritch being's perfect little "do nut steel" city that it spent all its time worldbuilding with, which is why it seemed to rich and important as "the city" pre Solver >When it saw the Solver incursion starting, it did the eldritch equivelant of putting its toys away before they break >Cue the entire city of New York and the landmass it formerly occupied, including a massive chunk of the ocean around it, just vanishing midway through the initial incursion in Australia >The Union government ended up devoting so many resources to figuring out what happened there that the Solver broke containment, getting footholds in Africa and Asia without Cyn having to lift a finger >The rest is history
I see no signs of vomit and this drone appears sexually attractive. Therefore it cannot possibly be Pidge but must, instead, be some much ssxier other drone. I nominate Egdip from Outpost-6.
>>330398 >This is also why it maintained its relevance to the point that " I heart NY" pins existed a thousand years after its founding, like the one from Uzi's concept art.
>>330400 >"Glory to Soviet science, the locomotive of humanity!" >"Uh, guys, I think this new thing made a hole in space." >"The victory of communism is inevitable!"
>>330405 >and so it was >what was more communist than sharing everything after all? >mind, body, and soul all included >and if one soul may happen to be more equal? >well, that's just business as usual
>>330403 >"So, now we're going to the church where we'll get married. I've already called sister E. Then we'll go to my house where you'll fuck me and impregnate me with your child. I'll show you our new house. Then we'll go shopping together for baby essentials: a stroller, clothes, toys, all the usual. If it's a boy, we'll name him Ivan; if it's a girl, we'll name her Rose." >"What? What are you talking about? Who the hell are you?!" >"Did I express unclearly?"
>>330369 >severely damage the war effort >deliberately sabotage alarms and detection systems >create an abominable flesh-factory that produces nigh-unlimited hordes of nightmarish mutants using the innocent flesh of their neighbors, making the whole megastructure objectively worse to a significant degree and turning their old workplace into one of the most dangerous locations within >still come out benefiting from all this somehow
I guess the Soviet law of transferred-suffering still holds true here: for one to have it better, others must have it worse.
You know, I quite like how the contrast between how humans view the Edith vs the semi-loyal Sapien came out. It's got some nice irony to it:
>Edith is a supercomputer created directly by humans that sees them and their species as the most important thing in the universe. She would die in a heartbeat if doing so would in any way help those that created her and spends nearly every waking moment trying to repay the affection she believes they hold for her. >She's viewed by the humans in question as a semi-erratic tool and, occasionally, a personal achievement to tout about at conferences. None of the people that she cares so much about actually see her as a person with thoughts an feelings rather than a very advanced calculator. The only exceptions to this are when those around her doubt her judgement and dispute her decisions, temporarily putting their beliefs in mechanical infallibility aside so they can force her to justify her strategies to them.
>The Sapien is a flesh-construct created directly by and from the body of one of mankind's most dangerous enemies that barely cares at all about Humanity: he has a couple of friends that he would die for, but if they went mutant he would undoubtably switch sides again. Heck he might even try and force them to go mutant if it looks like they might die. >He's viewed as a personally dangerous and intelligent individual whose connections and cares need to be taken into account like a human soldier's would(hence the scientist taking the whole team and not just the Sapien himself). This is true not even of just his Liquidator buddies, but with at least one of the scientists too (the one from his green that saw his proto-sentinel fight). All in all it seems like he's treated more like a spec-ops soldier than a lab specimen or war material.
Rather neat that the two ideas ended up going in such polar opposite directions from what you would assume to be the standard like that.

heeyyyyy, it's Don from Fix-a-Bot! so, I've got good news and bad news. good news is, we've successfully repaired your drone after that bus hit it! bad news, the new trainee kinda had a little oopsie and damaged its cognitive processor, so now it's a little, um. permanently retarded. yeah, sorry about that, but hey, you get a 30% discount! anyway, it should have been dropped off at the address you provided a couple hours ago. buh-bye now, thank you for choosing Fix-a-Bot!
Speaking of Look Outside, I had the idea of drones being immune to the Visitor's gaze due to not really being people or something. Maybe their connection to the AS is what stops it? So then you'd have a story about a worker making a supply run for their human, trying to survive the worst the outside's become.
Anon do not interact with the tard trying to take drones out of their setting completely. Post mutants if you must but at least refrain from this level of degeneracy.

>>330504 >she wasn't actually in sleep mode >she just saw a child-sized figure in suspenders pouring out a river of blood >so she shut her eyes as tight as she could >apologizing to the halucinations never goes well
>N does this in Uzi's room >Nori hears it through the door >Not having had sex in the last two decades and spending said decades in meat hell, Nori assumes the slapping sounds are those of furious battle >Charges in pickaxe swinging, yelling at the top of her voicebox >Now N's gotta finish really fast if he wants to keep his core in his chest >He has no idea what Uzi's gonna do when she realizes what happened >But surely it can't be worse than what she'd to to Nori if she actually interrupted them >It's hard work keeping Uzi's family in one piece >But that just makes it familiar!
>Pavo tries his best to forget his interactions >But yet no matter how hard he wipe his memory >No matter how hard he does a hard reset on that specific day >It. Is. Still. There. >And it's haunting him >Not because John didn't fight back >Or when he crawled underneath his skin >Or even when his words sank in deep >No....far from it... >It is when he sang: a simple song >[We'll meet again] >Not because he sang it so well. Making sure each note was struck with perfect tempo....no....it was any of that at all.... >It was the voice he sang it in:His Voice >Pavo was nothing but baffled not because it was not only in his voice...but he sang it so beautiful...And a part of him HATED that >And now...everytime he looks into a mirror he sees HIM >Pavo hates that John not only tarnished his voice...but he made it hauntingly beautiful...and he questions does he even wants it back
>>330471 >During yet another "test" when an unsuspecting fool humie let Strychnine into his home, right before she could take advantage of his weakness, the wall of the house is torn to shreds >When the dust from the debris settled a little, Strychnine was able to see the culprit of the mess >Molly >True and very, VERY angry Molly
>Uzi starts acting cheerful, peppy on the regular >This horrifies and disturbs everyone who even remotely knows her (V, Nori, Thad, Lizzy, Khan sorta: it's not a long list) >Still they beg N to figure out what is going on >Is it a front? Is she about to jump in a lake? >Is the Solver finally overtaking her?(that thing always WAS cheerful after all) >Whatever it is they need answers PRONTO, her very soul could be at stake!
...
>N kind of wants to come clean >But he was raised in a Victorian mansion >So the idea of describing the exact bed-breaking, wire warping, flesh staining "private times" they've been having every night since they finally started making out is... really bad >Heck, he still feels guilty about clanging her before marriage >Normally he'd rely on Uzi to help then >But apparently he knocked some of her loose screws back into alignment when they screwed >Now she has both her normal tsundere nervousness AND all the usual social compunctions against telling her parents why her room shines like the sun under blacklights now >So they put their heads together >How can they possibly escape this situation without revealing their sex life? >A simple solution >Just figure out how to kill the vibes when they're done!
>But how? >First they tried not cuddling after >Neither one could stand it >Then they tried listing off family members and backstory >Killed the mood, but also real gross >Not to mention apparently dangerous >Uzi knows a lot about fetishes by now, especially how they develop >And she was happy to share that knowledge, history of acquisition included, if it might stop a repeat >So yeah, bad fire to play with >But what's left to try? >...maybe something more creative?
>As their last gambit fails, N sinks to his knees >The clown makeup was useless >He hasn't even gotten her father's blessing yet! >They're gonna send Uzi to a nunnery for sure! >Or whatever the drones do, he's sure it's something like that >Imprisonment he's not worried about: no prison could hold Uzi Doorman >That was true even before she became an eldritch god >But she's gonna be a complete social outcast for losing her purity now! >And it's all his fault!
>Uzi, practically glowing, still looks to her boyfriend with a grimace >She's not sure why he's THIS worked up about things >Everything seems very, very alright right now >Still, it's hurting him >And if it's important to him it's important to her >So she must give it her all >To the very last resort... >Dragging herself over to the desk, she pulls out an object of life-ruining malice >Something that has long commanded her head and heart >She hasn't done anything like this since N came into her life >But maybe, just this once, for him?
>Booting her computer, Uzi pages to familiar grounds >4tran >/dg/ drone general >She closes her eyes a second >Can't bear to remember >But the truth is unavoidable >The ENTIRE FUCKING THREAD IS HUMANS AGAIN >HUMANS IN SUITS, HUMANS IN CARS >CORPORATE HUMANS, UNION MEMBER HUMANS >MASTER HUMANS, SLAVE HUMANS >HELL, THEY'VE EVEN MADE AN ENTIRE SETTING FOR VETERAN HUMANS WHO DESPERATELY NEED SOME "special drone lovin" TO FRIGGIN FIX THEIR SAD LIVES >Holy crap, she's so mad she's calm again >They've gone even farther now >There's "Superhumans" of all kinds on the board too >And the GREEN SKINNED FREAKS are clearly half the discussion by themselves >And, OF COURSE, EVERY FRIGGIN green and OC, apparently >She at least tries to look for drone discussion >The closest thing is a conversation about drones-that-look-like-humans >What's even the point of a "Robo-Sapien?" >Why can't the humiefags stay off the board? >WHY CAN'T THEY WRITE WHAT I WANT THEM TO? >REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
"Hey Uzi, you alright?" >It's midway through her thousand word textpost that N comes to her "You seem kinda frustrated" >He rests his head against her beanie >Gentle hands cross her chest >This is bliss >Wait, she did this for a reason right? >Right! The rage! >And nice as this feels, she's still not in that "bliss haze" she gets anymore! >They're home free! >Looking up at him, Uzi gives a gremlin grin >Grabs his face and pulls it close >Says three special words "I. AM. GOD."
...
>At long last, Uzi Doorman has returned >A calm runs through what could be generously called her "friendgroup," their fears of possession allayed >So much calm they actually bought the "a really good month" explanation >And so, life returns to normal for Outpost 3 >Except, perhaps, for one drone >Serial Designation N has been scavenging on his own, quite insistently >After all, he can't propose without a ring
>Molli is “volunteered” to take part in and survive a horrific Squid Games style gameshow, hosted by media personality MGBeast >Other contestants include OC’s, Canon characters, joke characters, from the popular FOTM’s to the most Bow’d and forgotten >Everybody wakes up from their magnetized state in the sleeping bay, standing above them on a podium is the frontman, MGBeast >Molli is terrified, surrounded by half a hundred strangers. >Last she remembered, she was eating breakfast, when she got whacked by a bright flash, and then it was all a blur >Everybody there is in disbelief. >”Motherf-MG, YOU SON OF A BITCH! How are you going to steal my idea, I was planning this for months!” screams SD-Q, the notorious quizmaster. >”Whatever, I was going to be paying for the whole thing anyways!” MG says. “Besides, you owe me for bailing out your shitty indie animation studio!” >Everybody is wearing Adidas tracksuits. It’s amazing they managed to find sizes for all the contestants. >”What the hell, man? I was in the middle of a competition match!” says a murder drone with rainbow highlights. >”I know you! You’re the #2 streamer on Copper-9, ‘Kiryuin’! I thought you were AI!” Molli yells. >”Huh?” SD-G says, aggravated. “Who the hell are you?” >”Hmm? Oh, me? I’m #1.” Molli says cheekily, to G’s chagrin. >”NEVER MIND YOUR BOTTED STREAMS, YOU ALSO OWE ME!” MGBeast screams down at G. “I’M RUNNING 1990s TECH HERE, AND YOU’RE FRYING ALL OF MY INTERNET SERVERS JUST TO DO ROLEPLAY SEX ON GTA! FUCK YOU, G!” >MGBeast continues on with his monologue. >”Every single one of you owes me! I’ve loaned out so much money that I’m giving out free fucking plushies to the bratty Doorman kid just to keep her parents from foreclosing my businesses! I’m on the brink here!” >”VHY DID YOU KIDNAP US THEN, DICKHEAD?!” screams Y. >”Well, my little Dutch friend…one day I came across this ancient Human Tv show. I can’t quite remember what it was called, but basically, it was this big metaphor for greed, poverty, and capitalism. All these poor people are forced to compete with their lives on the line for money and the viewing entertainment of the wealthy. Super evil stuff, blah blah-It’s all a good lesson, however unsubtle.” >”But get this. Later, some guy decided to recreate the exact spectacle one for one with REAL people, in a real show, same aesthetic and everything, and it made a SHIT ton of ad revenue from all the people on the internet watching it. And it’s not like the metaphor was lost on the viewers, either, they cheered it on! The point is that gameshows where people get hurt or humiliated make shit loads of money, and so I have you all here today! You all owe me, and you’re all going to both help me pay off my liabilities, and play for your freedom!” MGBeast says. >What the? >”I’ve never met you before! What the heck do I owe you?!” Molli says. >”Hah! Don’t lie! The lists shows a user your internet, “Am_a_H8R”, borrowing tens of thousands of dollars from my reserve in order to donate to VTubers! FUCKING VTUBERS! YOU NEED TO GET A FUCKING LIFE!” MGBeast screams furiously. >”What the-“ Molli says. >”Who the hell wou-“ >Oh no. >That red-eyed horny little loser. >Who the HELL is he donating all that money to?! >”I swear, when I get out of here, I’m selling that little turd to the government!” Molli thinks in her head. >”So, yeah, anyways! It’s time to start the games! If you win, you get your freedom, debt relief, and a night with Jane the Human! Let’s fucking go!” >And so the games began, with the thunderous and boisterous call of the host’s title >MGBEAAAAAAAAAASSST >”Ah shit, here we go again…” Molli says, as the first game opens up. >”What fucking game is this?” says another drone. >“Uh, guys…Is that a giant robot Molly Playhouse?”
>Three out of ten sentinel drone nurses admitted to synthesizing medications for patients with their tails >Seven out of ten continue to keep this a secret
>>330623 Drink 5 liters of coffee and then subsists on energy drinks, it's going to be fun I promise, I totally didn't pass out during an exam this week
>>330633 >On her hat, instead of a magnet, there's a knife that goes into her head and brain >Don't ask how she's still alive: I think it could kill her
>>330640 They have that dog in them because they like Werewolves... and Minotaurs... Centaurs...Probably those Pig looking Orcs as well, honestly fantasy races get molested by women very often
>>330639 God created us in his own image, and we created drones in our own image. Drones are below us, they will never be equal to us and will never be able to surpass humans in both the beauty of body and the beauty of soul.
the technology behind viewbotting was lost in the great solver war so nowadays it's done manually by a bunch of drones in big warehouses over in neo-china. they're contractually obligated to actually *watch* the streams too
>>330680 >Anon now has to deal with a machine god in a drone's body, a man in a drone's body, and the mad scientist who transferred that man into the drone's body >And all three are pregnant with his child
Thing I just realized about the Empress Uzi timeline: everyone realizing the possibility that with all her eyes and her infinite length and her dimensional phasing Uzi could be watching them at any time. Same with Geist or a grown up grub in any timeline with either of them.

>>330683 >This masively benefits Uzi's "godess" LARP >This massively terrifies all humanity, (once they put the pieces together) >And finally, this massively horrifies all of Uzi's kids >They put "keep out" stickers in every corner of their rooms but they only trust bro to obey >Mom's known to enjoy breaking rules...
>Now Mac literally begs her to stop watching before he starts a stream >Chat's thirst is bad enough >But mom reading it? >Worse, mom responding to it like he knows her weeblord easy-bait ass would? >Unthinkable >And anything, even playing along with the LARP, is worth ensuring it stays that way >And so he does >Chat dosen't know why, but Mac's face is always lit by some sort of flame flickering behind the camera >Nobody sees the appeasement offerings >Mac hopes to keep it that way
>>330702 And yeah don't let her meek outside fool you, she will tear into you if she thinks you're a threat to her or Tessa or N. Even Tessa is a bit worried at times with V's little "hunts" when someone breaks on their property.
>>330702 ZAMN, I like the claw boots. One small nitpick I have is that the white streaks below the waist look a bit weird and don't seem to 100% fit the shape of the latex skirt, but other than that it's good.
>>330713 Wow! She looks like a proper well behaved enforcer drone lady! I'm sure she doesn't abuse the prisoners in the jail she runs! But why does she only accept human male prisoners?
Image:177058076447.png(397kB, 777x882)THERES NOTHING THERE yet.PNG
>>330692 >why does it still have a friendly face if that's gonna be her body? Because that friendly face also has another friendly body inside! she just stick her head out the top alot. You should climb in.
All drones are a danger to humanity on an existential level Think about it, they're more desirable than human partners, they only create pillbabies when reproducing, they're (mostly) superior to humans in every way We're a dying species and we're killing ourselves with cute drones
>>330718 Can the top torso be mounted to a normal drone lower body or do I have to take her core out and get a whole new body whenever I want to bring her out of the hangar and into my bed?
>>330719 I've been trying to get the truth out to people for a long time! Wake up, damn it! We have to abandon drones for the sake of humanity's survival!
>>330733 The caffeine calls to you! Good luck! Hope you'll be able to get some sleep when you get back home
>>330734 It's not about winning or losing! It's about finding someone who loves you that you can also love! And only a machine can love you because women who don't want to clang drones are evil!
According to the blueprints, additional uses Uzi was considering for her iconic railgun: >an emotional substitute for her neglectful dad >a way to ensure a prospective prom date says yes >something she can use to pretend she doesn't have friends because she vaporized them all and not because she's an autistic freak who drives her classmates (except Thad, but he's everyone's friend) away
>>330741 >except Thad, but he's everyone's friend He is like a free land, waiting for someone to sail in and plant their pole in his soft soil and claim his as their own.
>>330747 I'd try to get her some aftermarket mods to fix up the half assedness of the factory line and hope for component compatibility, but if she was also a skin job then it would really be testing until I get her a proper chassis
>>330071 Honestly I think for greentext purposes this is some of the more interesting stuff. Then again that's just me, and I'm a sucker for settings that explore ideas of "hey what if society was like x after y"
