It is a pity that such a charming lady departed so early, but on the other hand, her end was certainly more pleasant than that of her husband: who might well not have died, to his own absolute misfortune.

>>386319 Alright I'm done for realsies. This was the first time I did a longform story and holy shit it's harder to stay on target than I realized. Thanks for sitting with my 'tism.

the whole Von Dronius worker drones being crappy, off brands, but affordable to the common man is something not really explored yet. What would off brand WDs look like? I almost imagine their bodies looking kinda like the Sephirot from Lob Corp, but it might be fun to do more with this later for another classification of drone.
>>386352 Given WDs are probably uber expensive, its reasonable consumer grade products were made for the average man. I have some ideas for the look and attitude. Will do later actually
>>386355 they're semi sentient worker/maids who are basically little humans, how much do you think they cost for the average house hold. We only see the uber rich have them in Tessas family, and while they break them all the time and have a graveyard for them, I doubt that is because they aren't expensive but because they can afford it or just dont care.
>>386359 >Your Von Dronius brand Worker Drone suspiciously following you around and staring at everything you do very intensely >Frequently asks you question about the products you use and work you do >If you dont leave a 5 star review of Von Dronius products and your experience with your Von Dronius Worker Drone, it kills itself on the spot.

You two Niñitas couldn’t handle spicy even without taster tongues!” >They grab the bottles and begin guzzling them >After a while they start bickering with each other “Getting a bit read on the visor I see…” “That’s because of your own reddish visor you tin can!” “Who are you calling a tincan you inferior pile of junk!?” >They begin brawling >You collect yourself enough to stand up >Lizzy is recording the two murder drones fighting with her phone >She suddenly begins screaming “Emily! I’m not done!” “The views started dropping! You’re boring them!” >You continue your speech with the visuals of a cat fight near a dumpster >All in all you were successful >The next day news arrives of ships from other systems coming to visit >Sure, they are on humanitarian missions to “Save the poor drones from themselves” but it’s a start
>>386359 >>386369 >Improperly disposing of a Von Dronius economy grade drone carries a 75% chance of spontaneous meat manifestation and violent urges in the drone
>Von Dronius Economy Drone >Review: 5 Star >I only gave this stupid thing a 5 star rating because I had to. This dumb bastard is barely sentient! It can hardly do any of the house work, and spends most of its time around me. It clings to me like a puppy and asks me very invasive questions about my private life and shopping habits! Very annoying. It also started to puke up some odd meatish gunk, and wouldn't even clean it up! I HAD TO. 0 stars, but when I mentioned I would give it a bad rating it tried to harm me and itself and only calmed down when I started writing this review. DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS
>(Note from Manufacturer): We are sorry to hear you have been having some issues with your Economy Drone. We will review this case as soon as possible, within the next 100 business days.
>>386377 Ideas tend to die when they're ignored or deprived of attention, ergo your snippy reply is counter-productive and only succeeds at legitimizing what you don't want to see posted. Of course this assumes your reply isn't just a disingenuous excuse for (You) to act like a baiting asshole.
>Economy drone invading your personal space >Economy drone invading your bed >Sex toys being shipped to your house on your credit card that you don't remember buying, but that somehow match your preferences.
>>386381 Well it'd help if the OC looked like something from the show instead of something else entirely. What's the point of the thing you're making stands out like a sore thumb?
>>386389 You look me in the eye, and tell me that >>386352 looks even the slightest like a drone from Murder Drones. You can't, because it doesn't. Shape language is all wrong.
>>386391 And even more importantly, the entire family around Tessa is already a gold mine of untapped potential. The Anon saying they're being reinvented from first principles was spot on. I'm all for original content, but when it's retreading things established by canon, then it feels cheap in a bad way. Like a Sonic recolor.
>>386390 Why would an off brand, cheaper, economy model of a drone look exactly like a normal drone despite being made cheaper? Why would you want it to anyways, how would you tell them apart?
>>386392 What can you do with this that you can't do with labor bots? Other than "because I made this" like Bendis creating a character purely so he can have them used in adaptations and get royalties?
>Be me, Anon. >I was wandering the corridors of Copper-9. >Until I saw a tall battered vending machine thing. >With Faded logos, scratched panels and glowing yellow optics tracking me. >And Big glass front, touchscreen still working. >Curiosity takes over. >I walk up abd saw screen lights up. >“INSERT PRODUCT” >Hesitating, I step into the open bay. >Soft mechanical arms guide me in. >Magnetic locks seal with a quiet click. >The glass stays so clear that anyone walking by can see. >A flat cheerful robotic drone voice: >“PRODUCT DETECTED. SELECT SERVICE.” >Options scroll past. > Edge 30 minutes >Full body oil coat >Public use mode >Ruined orgasm >Sensory deprivation package >I press one >Robotic nozzles and tendrils extend >Warm oil coats me >Vibration starts. >The arms hold me perfectly still. >But the machine doesn’t care. >Just dispenses what was selected >Yellow eye-lights watch the whole time >Occasional Solver symbol flickers across the glass. > when the cycle ends it announces >“THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATRONAGE” >The locks release. >I step out sticky and shaking. >The machine’s voice glitches once >“PRODUCT… LOW STOCK. PLEASE RESTOCK SOON.”
My two cents on the issue is that I've played warframe and "concept bloat" is a real thing. I'd much rather a handful of concepts get a wealth of development than a few content islands that get tossed like vaporware.
>>386402 Identical? No. But you'd be a fool not to expect them to not try and look close enough that customers would either be fooled or think they're "practically the same thing". Kinda like the Sentinel Drones, ngl.
>>386403 But anon, this is a concept getting more development. Valentine has been a character for over a year now, and her lore is getting expanded on through her family and business.
>>386408 Uhhh don't get me started on protoniggers, humie operators were a mistake, warframe should have been a game about cool sci fi robot terrorists not a "Kids that use super weapons just because" anime
>>386410 Anons who complain about OC dont make things, they hate them. And then make it everyone elses problem so they can try and bully their way into designing a thread for them specifically. They are filled with double standards, retardation, and bittness that they're brand of autism limits their creativity and imagination
its like the online threadshitter version of that super autistic kid who would rather die of dyhdration then drink something out of anything other then their favorite sonic cup after it broke.
>>386410 That risks recursion. >>386411 Right?! I want more faceless space ninjas in pseudo-bodysuits, not "John Warframe" who's got a half-assed VN therapy session attached to him.
>>386414 I find it sad you geniunely seem to think an Idea can only be done once and others (including yourself) have no voice worth adding onto an idea or making unique to yourself. Do you have any idea the amount of creations that would never have been made following your dogma
>>386418 if the dimensional merge happens some of us are getting tortured to death by our creations, myself included. I don't know how she'd choose to do it, but Cici would make sure my end would be slow and painful
>>386384 We also haven't done counter-DD drones made by humans. That's a new concept worth delving into. Never been done before. Maybe it can be the long-awaited "new Flavor of the Month".
>Flavor of the Month this, Flavor of the Month that I miss when we didnt commodify OC into having to serve a distinct thread culture purpose. Used to be OC was just, for fun.
>>386424 I suppose its the natural endpoint of 4 or more Years of constant threads. At a certain point, OC became less about one and done fun ideas with occasional greens to back them up and funposting, to being treated as if its backbone of the threads economy. OC is treated less like something you do for the fun of creation and love of the MD world, and more about appeasing an audience at this point.
There are plenty of ideas that don't receive much exploration despite being so obvious. For example, we haven't seen a serious dive into what would be produced by humans and DDs mating. The closest we came to that was the SentinelBorn, and that only lasted for one thread.
>>386432 Really though reading the old greens before it just became repetitive garbage because someone was clearly giving up. Is strange, it's like they wanted to do something cool, but just lacked the ability to do so or were afraid to anger the threads? Also I noticed that like a lot of elements from this character immediately got recycled into others OCs. Personally though I do find myself as well struggling to find a way to organically re-intrpduce Tammfk, I have 2 scripts essentially a ""Darth Vader"" one give origin later in other stories and just have them exist and ""Robo-Cop"" one show new backstory first and then have the character become who they are as the plot develops
