>Your bandager nods and makes a closed mouth smirk, her contrasting default Worker Drone optic displays not removing themselves from the Human bodies as she continues to lead the two of you onwards.
>You finally work up the nerves to emit the nagging question from your audio speakers, through the critical oil leak.

>The stench of fresh blood and shit like a slaughterhouse on a rainy day floods anew into your olfactory sensors as you round a still idling APC and are met with the sight of EDF Archons being butchered and bludgeoned to death by another pair of Worker Drones: one is dressed like a lumberjack with a short brown wig and brown optic displays and effortlessly pulling a two handed axe out of a blood streaming split in a limp Archon's helmet, while another dressed in brown robes with a white tonsure wig and white optic displays is repeatedly bashing another Archon in the head with a mace.
>Bright, cherry red optics come sprinting out from beneath shadow casting trees, under a red hood.
>The red hooded Worker Drone is wearing a shortly cut red wig and holding a sniper rifle.
>In the light of The Sun, you notice that her chassis is noticeably shorter than the rest of the Worker Drones around you, most noticeably the one dressed as a lumberjack, who is visibly taller than the rest of you.
>"That's all," she stops sprinting to turn her head and spit on a flatlining corpse that is bringing its open head up to its forehead and slapping it against it over and over again.

This patrol was only a papercut to the EDF's Legions, but Rome wasn't destroyed in a day~!"
>"Red," she points to the red hooded Worker Drone girl, "fetch the rocket launchers!"
>"Got it!" Her cape flicks to the side behind her and flies behind her with each swift step before vanishing back into the treeline, branches snapping beneath the idling of what EDF vehicles remain undestroyed.
>"Jack," the leader points to the lumberjack Worker Drone boy, "load ammo and supplies! Get the bodies and their weapons after I'm done factory rebooting their guns and armor!"
>"Got it Pix," he nods and begins doing exactly that, noticeably looming over you as he goes about his business.
>"Gabby, Judas," she points to the marching band Worker Drone girl and the monk Worker Drone guy, "turn the vehicles off until they're loaded, and check the fuel!"
>"Got it Pixie~!" The marching band Worker Drone girl turns and sprints to the nearest APC, leaning past the still cooling corpse of the driver to check the fuel gauge.
>Judas nods, makes a sign with his fingers, and wordlessly goes to join Gabby.
>"And you," Pixie looks past her shoulder to you, factory default optics gazing out the corner of her visor, "what's your name?"
>You reply.

>"AN0N," she lets her MP5 hang from a strap around her buttoned yellow raincoat and turns to gently grasp your unbandaged arm, "you're a DroneDash driver, right?"
>You ease into her touch, though tighten your grip around the revolver, even through the wooziness and lightheadedness of the oil loss.

Yeah, despite dying she still tried to find a loophole in the whole “kissless virgin” thing and pretend she is way more confident and assertive than she actually was when she was still alive. Which she can then regret at a later point in “life” when she realizes just how utterly buenoy it was.

While this whole scenario was for comedic purposes I am curious where her skeleton (and those of all the other former residents) went as the drones built their own society. Is it just lying around at Haruka’s place or is the location and condition of Aoi’s physical remains going to be a major plot point for a future chapter/her backstory?

Might actually get a good laugh out of me, personally. Depends on placement though, I don't want them to be somewhere it'll break a high tension moment or an emotional one. I think they can pull it off, based on the emote poster in episode 7. Didn't bother me because N's scream was followed by Uzi's scene where it shows her going the other way after the rocks fell, where there's no voice line. Then it got back to N where the Solver shows some of its trickery as well as his flashback further driving the horror in.
So, it's subjective and won't work for everyone. But for me, if they can pull it off in 7 that way, I think they can do it in 8 as well. Besides, we kind of already have Oogis in the form of chibi Uzi for Glitch Inn stuff.
