The only character I'm surprised he beat was Judy who was consistently active, hyped up, and beloved. Mao Mao had a decent bracket to stay safe until now besides her.
>Mao Mao built up support from previous tag teams and the jokes about the doujin in Mr. /co/ that was promised if he won a round and yet never was posted
>Snufkin was fun but didn't have as much going for him as Mao Mao
>Shaggy was silent and really fell hard from grace last Mr. /co/

>Optimus and Mao Mao were about equally as active though Mao Mao did more for his opponents

This is the final round, folks! The winner of these two contestants will be crowned as the Hero of /co/!.. Of 2023, there might be more of these in the future.
Better make your decision, you have to choose who is your personal favourite of our two finalists. Mao Mao, Hank; it's not the time to start slacking, you both still have the chance to sway the votes in your favour! Now, good luck to you two!

Last round of the tournament, let's do something fun. Let's say you could bring back any character from losing their round, which one would you pick? Also explain why if you'd like. For me, it would have to be
Qualifiers: Ghost Rider, he was cool and got a better campaign than most
Round 1: Lacey or Nostalgia Critic, both very unique picks, one could get more art and the other is just funny to me
Round 2: Spider-Man, I actually think if he won this round his campaign would ramp up
Round 3: Kuzco, one of the best and funniest in the tournament
Round 4: Space Ghost, even better than Kuzco imo, probably is the worst round in terms of results
Round 5: Puss, he got this far but didn't even get to face Mao Mao, what a waste
Round 6: Superman, better matchup for the finals

I suppose I could say the same to you. Never thought I'd meet a talking cat on the way here, considering our previous opponents and all. As for my heroics? I proudly serve my community by providing the needy with propane and propane accessories. Propane is the best source of fuel available, and it burns cleanly unlike charcoal or that bastard gas butane, which could cause plenty of problems with the innocent. I believe selling propane and propane accessories through honesty and hard work is what goodwill is all about, I tell you what.

Funny you mention Kuzco and Space Ghost since if those two went up against each other in round 4, I would've focused a lot more on Kuzco. Anyway, who I'd bring back would be:
Qualifiers: Ghost Rider, same reason as you
Round 1: Lacey, I really liked that drawing her anon made that round and I would've liked to see more
Round 2: Phoney Bone, I really like Bone and he had a good campaign
Round 3: Harvey Birdman, his show is great, he was a lot of fun to writefag for, and Popeye not doing much after beating him was disappointing
Round 4: Space Ghost, same reasons as Birdman, although I understand Puss' anon got busy and couldn't do much for him during rounds 4 and 5
Round 5: Daredevil, one of my favorite superheroes and his campaign was really well done
Round 6: Superman, he wasn't the most active but his matches against Daredevil and Hank were great

>Heavenly. I should read Daredevil comics again after this tournament. He was really good here.
You're gonna make me reveal my power level. I'll give you some recommendations.

You can start from the very beginning, as in from Daredevil #1 from all the way back in 1964, but as you probably know, those comics tend to be pretty wordy and goofy. They're fun in their own way, but they're not for everyone, and Daredevil is honestly not even the best Silver Age title. You can try, but if it's too much for you, there are easier alternatives.

Daredevil: Yellow is a 2000s limited series that retells Matt's backstory and the early issues where he used to wear the yellow suit. There's also Daredevil: The Man Without Fear from 1993, which is another retelling of DD's backstory, but focusing more on the elements that Frank Miller introduced into the character (more on that in a bit). Between these two, I honestly prefer Yellow but I advise you to read both at the very least to compare how different the character could be. Which one of these two is canon? The answer is it's comics so nobody is quite sure, they both sort of are when they don't contradict each other.

Then you could quickly read Daredevil 80-81 and Daredevil 131-132. The first is just the beginning of a brief time period where he was together with Black Widow, just think it's a neat excerpt from character history that often gets overlooked. The second is the first appearance of Bullseye, who went on to become a major antagonist.

Then there's the big one, the Miller's run, the one a lot of people would probably tell you to start with. Frank Miller basically reinvented the character in many ways, introducing Elektra, Stick, The Hand, the rivalry with Kingpin, and generally a more noir mood. For the exact issues, it's 168-191. Then Miller left for a while, came back to write a single issue for 219, then wrote his DD magnum opus Born Again in 227-233, which is considered Daredevil's most iconic story to this day.

After this, well, until the late 90s there were plenty of other runs but none of them are considered standout. There's Ann Nocenti who was on drugs all the time and wrote that story where DD goes to hell I mentioned, but it's also not for everyone.

In 1999, the series got renumbered for Volume 2. You could probably safely jump here after Miller. Here we got Kevin Smith's brief stint, David Mack's psychedelic stuff, Bendis back when he was still a somewhat respected writer, and some more stuff. Seeing how it's the 2000s, pretty much the entire volume is dark and gloomy, which is controversial in some aspects, but it's got a lot of interesting things I don't want to spoil. Just stop before you get to Shadowland, it's that one story I mentioned where DD gets possessed by a devil.

Eventually, after 11 years, people got tired of the grimdark mood. Here comes Volume 3-4 and Waid's short but sweet run of 3 years, which is honestly my second favorite Daredevil run after Miller. It keeps the serious elements the character has gotten over the decades but it's way more light-hearted in nature. I posted plenty of caps from it, you can immediately recognize it by Chris Samnee's minimalistic colorful artstyle. Most people would tell you it peaks in Volume 3 and Volume 4 is not as good, but it's still worth following through till the end.

After that, well, there have been two runs since then but this post is already quite massive so I'll stop for now. I think if you get to this point, you'll manage to make sense of things for yourself, it's mostly pretty straightforward from that point on. Have fun reading and hope you managed to get something useful for yourself out of this wall of text.

Popeye shouldn't really be a problem for time. While I'd normally suggest the Robin Williams movie, he has plenty of 5-7 minute shorts to choose from, so one of those would be an easy fit (I recommend "Adventures of Popeye" in this case since it's four of the shorts condensed into one, although Popeye Meets Sinbad is really good if you have 16 minutes to spare). Not sure what to do with Puss seeing that the Shrek movies would be lengthy and the show he had wasn't good.

I have a few villains to nominate for the tournament at this moment which I'll reveal after the finals.

By the way this is probably impossible, but is there any BSC character that could fit for Villains?

Also, I needed some /v/ partners for Drew, Claudia (at least one of the three choices), Stacey, Aisling, Saoirse, and Phoney to renominate them for /cov/.

>>54464

Basically it's him and Fone describing each opponents, but Phoney keeps on being a selfish asshole and constantly yells at his cousin for interrupting his campaign. I was inspired by the likes of Snake and Little Mac, and I made this as the closest thing to those for Heroes of /co/. Too bad he didn't got so much further though.

Feels like I've been misunderstood for two posts in a row now. I'm not putting down people who only nominate a single member of a team, I'm saying it's good practice and more realistic for campaigning.

What did I miss, Jimjam? Oh, I was just eating my sorrows at Taco Shack after round 3, hope I made it in time for finals! Anyways, do you ever wonder how odd some of our Elite Eight have been doing in the tournament despite a decrease in voters? You may think it's because anons have been missing a slice of Hugh Time, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Puss in Boots knocked out Kuzco in round 3 by 65% even though our good 'ol emperor had one of the most engagements of the round! That quackin' crazy kitty cat has also made a ghost out of Space Ghost by 58%, while having yet another dedicated campaign that lasted throughout the entire tourney! It only took that salty seadog Popeye to punch the lives out of that pussycat, all nine of them by 3 votes, and even then he's up to no good. Well, blow me down Jimbo, that piper beat Harvey Birdman by 7 more votes who had another campaign. This decrease in voters is also strange when you take into account the voters by the final rounds of Tag-Team 2022, which was 197-198, and that final stretch didn't even quack the amount of OC produced for that tournament which was still within single digits! Makes you wonder where those mysterious votes came from, doesn't right Jimbo? Those voters don't simply grow from duck lakes! Now THAT's quackin' crazy! Oh, and I hear Mickey Mouse drugged half of us with pizza, knew that rodent was up to something! I was more of a Donald guy anyway.

>>54460

No, I do think if they were in the same tourney together their banter could be fun. But I'll think of it, maybe I'll just help you campaign with OC instead.

Also, while I don't get as pissed at RWBY as a lot of people in the fandom do, I'll acknowledge that it's a pretty controversial property so I advise you to go in blind (well, as blind as you can after my campaign and the clips you saw) and see what you think of it all for yourself. I advise you not to get too attached to any idea of how a story you think will go because it might go in a completely different direction (though that shouldn't be too much of a problem if you'll be binging the whole thing over a short period of time).

Of the ones that got here that I felt were underwhelming, Superman was the one I think managed to turn it around the most. His matches with Daredevil and Hank with some of the best in the whole tournament. Overall, of the tournaments this year, Villains of /v/ > Heroes of /v/ = Co-op > Heroes of /co/ > King of /an/imals > Power gap > Another power gap > Tag-Team 2022.
