my votes

>Cats Don't Dance (tough, but I think they deserve more love over someone like Mickey and they're fun underdogs)
>Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated (a fun duo overall, and Doof is a likable character to boot)
>Assholish Adult Swim Duo (FUCK this is tough, but I went with them because they've suffered more, I'm fine with either option though)
>We're gonna score (Beavis and Butt-head are pure soul and are two characters who exemplify a cartoon duo perfectly. SpongeBob and Patrick are cool too but too exposed to E8 at this point)
>Mystery Inc. (pretty easy choice, love Homer and Krusty but Shaggy and Scooby are a top-tier cartoon duo for the same reasons as B&B)
>The Even Stronger than Those Guys Team (based characters and puppet rep, I can't see how anyone could hate this guys)
>Men of Action (better duo overall, Ben 10 and Generator Rex are kino and deserves tourney love. Like Felix but never read Blacksad)
>Road to Tag-Team (TOUGH AS FUCK MATCH. I chose Stewie and Brian because the Road to episodes are kino and Silver already made finals before)
I have nothing particularly negative to say anymore. Good work.

Welcome back to Sawyer and Danny's Actor Review!
>Wow, Sawyer that really worked! They really loved your breathtaking performance!
Told you babe, you got to go hard for this jaded crowd.
Today's topic, the two step-brothers Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and Mickey Mouse.
>How can a rabbit and mouse be brothers anyway?
That's another story for another day dear.
Together they make a great duo. Clashing personalities and interests, bringing out the best comedic potential out of both of them.
Oswald had a tough career, being at the height of popularity and being ripped from his creator, having to hang with Woody Woodpecker in irrelevancy for decades before getting a second chance with a popular game series. He's kept that snarky and sarcastic demeanor with his grit determination that makes him an inspiration and fan-favorite.
And Mickey, that mouse is the most iconic in Hollywood for a reason. He has that nice charm, comedic presentation, fine dance moves, great ethus-
>Uh Sawyer, these reviews sound very positive?
They are, this isn't Sawyer and Danny's Actor Roast is it?
>But isn't that helping our competitors by making them look good? If we lose we might not get another film!
It does, but remember hun what Warner did to our film? We need to rebound with a new studio and make nice with the Mouse!
>But is what you said even your real opinion on them?
Uh, I mean...
>And you're just being nice to get a backup deal for us?
Hmmf, maybe I overestimated your nativity. You've been in Hollywood too long, it's rubbing on you
>I've only been here for a few months!

It's fine, it's been a busy week for me so I couldn't do as much with this team as I wanted to. I'll definitely try it again next year if Moltar's poster wants to, and maybe I'll think of an actual team for SG in /cov/.

Inspired by the Garfield scholar, I'm going to list my ten favorite Omnitrix aliens and explain why they're my personal favorites.

>10. Swampfire
Solid alien in both his design and the utility of his powers. The reason he ranks only ten is simply because he cribs a bit too much from previous aliens Heatblast and Wildvine which was a reoccurring theme with the first AF ten and it makes him seem too redundant in later seasons. He does land on this list for having one of the best Ultimate Forms from AU.

Honestly a creative way of doing an ice type alien; they could have gone the easy route and just made an Iceman clone but they instead went with a spooky bug ghost who commands chills. He looks just as good in his mysterious cloaked as he does in his skeletal uncloaked form. And they use his similarities to an older alien as an…interesting plot twist rather than just feel like a reference to the OG ten. I wish I could rank him higher but his Ultimate was underwhelming and his OV redesign missed the mark.

Fun fact; I actually had the toy version of this guy growing up. As Ben himself notes, while his power seems lame at first glance, it's one of the more creative use of superpowers on the show, basically being a more overt alien version of Bouncing Boy. All around badass but he does tend get lost with the more flashier aliens and just like with Big Chill, they fudged the chance to make him stand out more with his Ultimate.

Practically one of the mascots of the franchise, Four Arms works perfectly for a character like Ben since he looks exactly how a ten year old would imagine an offense transformation. His straightforward design and use is both his strong and weak point; you can appreciate the simplicity of a badass four armed muscleman beating the shit out of villains while also wishing Ben would switch it. Never got an Ultimate but he got a Goro inspired redesigned which was…something. The porn 'stache in OV was slightly better.

The dude is a walking Ultraman reference, what more do you want? Props to the character designers for having based taste in tokusatsu. His rare use in the shows could be a mark against him but that can also count as a strength since Ben whipping out Way Big tells you shit just got real; Way Big going Ultimate on Vilgax as one such example. Still, it wouldn't have hurt the writers to throw more kaiju fights his way.

His design as a laser shooting devil manta ray is cool and useful in battle, easily making him the best flier Ben ever had and one of AF's best contributions to the Omnitrix. Oddly enough he wasn't in many aquatic battle as you think. Him being benched was one of the worst mistakes OV did.

While many of the AF ten could be considered riffs on previous aliens, I see Echo Echo as an improvement on Ditto as his sonic powers and way of multiplying provide for much more interesting fights and twists (like keeping a spare in the trunk). His Ultimate leans more into the slick inorganic aesthetic, looking like a living speaker and trading in multiplying for sonic discs. The iPod/music toy aesthetic they both have is so late 2000s that it's very endearing.

One of the reasons Swampfire ranked so low. I'll admit, Heatblast is rooted a lot in nostalgia; I always think back to when I saw the first episode at my aunt's house whenever I see Heatblast so he holds a special place in my heart. But even aside that, he's a visually interesting take on a classic power and pulled his weight every time he appeared, being the MVP in Ben's arsenal. I also found it funny how he never burned and melted everything just by getting near it.

Let's start with his appearance and powerset. Diamondhead refines the same bruiser niche by also adding crystalline blades and shrapnels, making him good for getting up close or far away. This and him being the most superhero like of all the aliens already makes him a badass. What really puts him here is his role in the worldbuilding; Diamondhead lead to the twist of Tetrax revealing his species and really hammering that yes there was other life out there and they were all in Ben's watch. This in turn would lead to more intergalactic set pieces and showing how much was out there beyond the earth which carryover to each show, getting bigger and more epic. All thanks to this cool guy right here.

Like, Heatblast is more fired up (pun absolutely intended) and determined, and XLR8 is more cocky and has more of a cool guy attitude, and the bruiser aliens like Diamondhead and Four Arms have this serious no-nonsense style.

Hello and welcome to the fourth round of the exciting Tag-Team tournament! We are only one round away to the E8, but we still got handful of battles to go! The competition is fiercer than ever before, and the creativity is off the charts as these dynamic duos clash each other for a chance to join the ranks of the E8. Let's see what we can find:

At round 1, Cats Don’t Dance has transformed the stage into a dazzling Broadway set as they attack in a synchronized dance that seems to be made to impress Hollywood and overwhelm their opponents. The Son of Walt Disney, however, weren’t backing down. They countered the Cats’ choreography with their own old-school cartoon gags as Oswald pulls out an oversized mallet out of thin air and managed to boink Danny in the head, causing him to see little stars out of his head. Meanwhile, Mickey’s magic hat sent enchanted broomsticks into the fray, attempting to sweep the Sawyer off her feet but she managed to dodge these living brooms and strikes the lovable mascot with a rhythmic kick to the head. The clash of styles between old-school animation and classic Hollywood glamour kept the crowd on the edge of their seats, but who will win the award for the best Tag-Team performance?

At match 2, Soundwave launched a barrage of soundwaves that sent Doofenshmirtz and Norm scrambling, however the former attempts to counter with his new invention: the Make-Giant-Robots-Weak-Inator. Unfortunately, this new device seems to have little effect on the Decepticons SFX Team as they are proven to be too powerful to have their powers drain. However, Norm somehow got hit by the ray but ends up dancing like a manic for some reason; it turns out Doofenshmirtz has gotten the wrong inator for this fight. The mad scientist runs around in circles as the Decepticons attempts to hunt him down as Norm continues to groove. Who will win this crazy battle of machines and science?

At match 5, Krusty tosses a barrage of pies towards Mystery Inc as they desperately try to dodge the favorite desserts of clowns everywhere. Scooby-Doo tries to charge towards Homer, but the lazy dad has distracted his opponent with delicious donuts as they collapse on top of the cowardly dog. Shaggy seems to have enough of this shit as he shift into his ultra Sayian form causing Four Krusties! to run for their lives as Shaggy uses only one percent of his power to hunt them down! Can Mystery Inc solve this case, or will Four Krusties give them a clue they can never solve?

At match 8, Stewie decides to fight fire-with-fire as he uses a series of futuristic gadgets, keeping himself occupied with Silver while Brian attempted to outwit Jim with smooth-talking distractions. However, Jim managed to throw back at him with clever insults that involves around writing, politics, and women; all of these quickly pisses off Brian and attempts to chase him around the air. Meanwhile, Silver tries to fire at Stewie with cannonballs but the genius blocks his throws with a reflective shield. The battle is fill with nothing but high-tech and flowery insults, but who will win?

These duo are determined to reach the E8 soon, but who will be next E8? Vote now!
