Zorak, please, me and Moltar are more than capable of rigging ourselves to victory. Now, granted, we did get almost all of our alternate emails rigged by Lokar, but that doesn't matter. What matters is that we're still in it to win it. Now, on with the show!

Hmm, Moltar, looks like we have an issue, seems that our next guests can't actually fit in the studio. What should we do? Personally I'm open to any ideas that involve explosions.

Fuck it. To keep the thread...y'know, GOING, I'm gonna do a ranking of all 12 Garfield specials to promote It Just Got Real.

>12. Garfield's Feline Fantasies
There isn't a bad Garfield special, but this is definitely the weakest one. Garfield parodying Indiana Jones actually sounds pretty fun, but alas, there's not much given to us. There's some enjoyment to be had, but there's not a lot of ambition or energy to it, which is saying a lot considering some of the more "intense" scenes. It doesn't feel like a special, moreso a long episode of Garfield and Friends.

>11. Garfield in Paradise
The first 1/3 of the special is actually pretty good. It has plenty of laughs, and a lot of energy to it. It's about Garfield, Jon and Odie trying to go on vacation, and the troubles they face along the way, like a shitty hotel room, hardly any luxuries, and accidentally finding themselves stopping a volcano from erupting...WAIT, WHAT?! That sounds crazy! But, similar to the quest for the golden banana in Feline Fantasies, it falls flat. It is NOT as interesting as it sounds. The instant the tribe and the volcano are introduced, it gets rather dull. It would be way better if the special were just the trio having a shit vacation, cause the first act clearly shows why that would've worked better.

>10. Garfield's Thanksgiving
And now, we go from C to B tier! This also feels a bit more like a big episode than a full special, but there's a bit more to it. There's not too many laughs, but there's quite a lot of charm. It's certainly memorable, especially as Jon stalls Liz with comically boring trivia while the dinner is prepared, and another appearance from Grandma Arbuckle. Grandma preparing the dinner is kinda funny. I feel if it were 5-7 minutes shorter, it'd have a bit more staying power. Maybe give it ONE watch.

>9. Garfield: Babes and Bullets
HOLY SOUL. A Garfield detective noir story that lacks the tension and flair of many mystery stories, but keeps everything else that makes them such classics. Honestly had a better time with this than The Maltese Falcon, the iconic movie that the special parodies. And yes, it actually feels like a special! And it does a good job at keeping you waiting to see the culprit.

>8. Here Comes Garfield
Here it is. The original. The first major Garfield animation. And for a first entry, it's quite good! It does a great job introducing the main trio, as well as the tone and humor of Garfield. There's some actual power in the scene where Odie's almost taken away for good, and the jailbreak is quite rewarding.

Welcome to Sawyer and Danny's actor review. Sawyer here, today's topic: reasons Max Goof failed in Hollywood.
1. Nepo Baby who only got a role in a show and film because of his dad being famous, not because he can act.
2. Half of his "talent" is whining like a girly bitch, he cannot sing or dance.
3. Is a major cunt to his caring dad and screams how wrong he is despite the fact he'd be working at White Castle if his dad couldn't act.
4. His dad is so embarrassed by him never growing up and not keeping his girlfriend into college he's not campaigning with Max.
5. Couldn't get a single gig away from Goofy and had to be a car parker at his dad's friend's comedy club as his last role 25 years ago because no one wants to work with him.
We give Max Goof 1 out of 10 stars, no wonder he bombed in Hollywood! Thank you for listing to Sawyer and Danny's actor review, check us next time when break Drew Pickle's ego and let him know why he's worse than Max.
>Sawyer, don't you think all that's a bit rough? He's probably a great guy and actor. And putting my name on this?
Welcome to Hollywood, Danny. Adapt or die. Now be that good-natured Indiana boy you are and fetch us some heroin.

>7. A Garfield Christmas (A TIER STARTS HERE)
Easily the most remembered of the specials...is rather overrated, but not by much, it's still a good romp. It certainly is very memorable, from the opening with the gift that keeps on giving, to the Dad reading the children's book, to Grandma going to town the piano, to the iconic scene where Grandma reminisces on her late husband. Such a powerful scene; It's such a shame that some people have been led to associate such a magical time with misfortunes like that. One of the few problems I have with it are the end with the hillbilly song that VASTLY clashes with the rest of the special. But it's really a fun time, and I can see why this is the one that went far.

A Halloween special for the family with...ACTUAL THRILLS?! Yeah, not just "OOOOHHH, SPOOOOOKY!" No, there's actual tension, and actual stakes as Garfield and Odie go trick-or-treating and encounter ACTUAL GHOSTS! They weren't fucking around with this one! There's even quite a few funny moments. There's a few parts where it drags, unlike the Christmas special, which fully earned its 22-minute runtime, but this one got a much bigger reaction out of me.

>5. Garfield on the Town
Garfield escapes from a trip to the vet, and ends up spending the night on the streets...the same streets he was raised on! Where he reunites with his old family, and even gets caught in a feud between them and a rival cat gang. Like Halloween Adventure, there's actually a lot of tension and high stakes, and now, there's also quite a bit of emotional weight, with how divided Garfield has become with his family, and his eventual return home, this time leaving his family for good. The ending to this is very satisfying.

The Arbuckle trio get a chance at stardom as Jon enters Garfield and Odie in a televised pet talent show with quite a lot on the line. This is where the trio's chemistry really shines. They are sticking through thick and thin throughout their trip, and even when Garfield tries to give Jon the slip, they find that there's no place like home. Aside from that, it also has a lot of laughs, and serves as an amazing commentary on the trials and tribulations of fame.

Garfield, Jon and Odie go camping and hijinks ensue. Doesn't sound too special, right? THINK AGAIN. Not only does this have some of the best songs in the show, some of the best humor in the show, but this actually gets intense! There's genuine tension and worry as Garfield and Odie get lost in the woods, there's genuine tension in Garfield fighting a wild panther, there's...oh yeah, GARFIELD FIGHTS A WILD PANTHER! AND WINS! And with the way it's presented, you really feel like you're going through the night camping. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the entire short film. And yes, not special, short film. There's actually a lot of cinematics to be found here.

BUT! At the end of the day, nothing the Garfield franchise has ever done reached a level of ambition and sheer phenomenon as...

>1. Garfield: His 9 Lives
WHERE. DO. I. BEGIN?! This is up there with stuff like What's Opera, Doc?, Rejected, and The Man Who Planted Trees as one of the best animated short films. I wish I was exaggerating, but nope.

An anthology of nine different styled segments depicting each of Garfield's lives, they go all out for this one. From the laugh riots of the Cave and Pharoah lives, to the wild rockin' time as the cat of a composer for the king, to a wildly animated overly cutesy life that parodies the overly cutesy edutainment shows of that time, to the action and thrills of being an escaped lab animal, to the moving emotional power of his life as a pianist's cat. EVERY SINGLE RIGHT DECISION THAT COULD'VE BEEN MADE DURING THIS SHORT FILM'S PRODUCTION, WAS, IN FACT, MADE. The amount of soul, love, and effort put into this can barely be measured.

Phew! Well that was something! Hope you enjoyed the ranking!

Oh hey, Green Lantern! I could've sworn Norm and I defeated you last round, but I guess you wanted me to meet your Beetle friend.

You know I had befriended a beetle during my youth in Gimmelshtump. His name was Beat, and he would accompany me during my gnome duty, which helped combat my loneliness at the time. All was well until he latched onto me and since my uncle Hubert Doofenshmirtz walked by and since he was deathly afraid of beetles he got out his oversized mallet and violently squashed Beat... even though he was attached to me.

Hello and welcome to the third round of the exciting Tag-Team tournament! We have reach more higher to the top than before and even though we still got a couple of more rounds to go, the tournament is getting more and more chaotic as we speak. Let's see what we can find:

At round 1, the two opposing teams are having a serious dance-off as the Goof Troops breaks into their signature dance moves, grooving and moonwalking across the battlefield while Cats Don't Dance counter with a synchronized tap-dancing routine that dazzles the crowd. Max and Danny face off in a flurry of footwork, each trying to outshine the other with impressive rhythmic moves. Meanwhile, Goofy stumbles into Sawyer, but she uses her feline agility to dodge his clumsy attempts at dancing. This match has taken whole other meaning of "fighting like cats and dogs", but who will outperform the other?

At match 6, the Monarch launches into a ridiculously long dramatic monologue on why he should be the powerful winner instead of the biggest jobber like we all know and laugh until Bender sneaks up and tries to pickpocket him, but Shake intervenes with a sloppily executed sneak attack using a tray of stale French fries. Fry however, accidentally shoots the fries, creating a grease explosion that covers everyone in a slippery mess. Bender retaliates with a flamethrower attachment which only ignite the grease and turning the battlefield into a hellfire! Shake tries to throw Molotov milkshakes at Bender but ends up dousing The Monarch instead, and completely engulfing him into flames! This battle is on FIRE...literally! Who will survive within this devastating inferno?

At match 8, it's Patchy's dream come true as he runs up to Spongebob like the crazed fanboy he is as the latter tries to get from him. Meanwhile, Potty dive-bombs onto Patrick who is also running in circles as the bird attempts to hunt him down like a hawk. Spongebob entraps Patchy into a bubble, but Potty quickly releases him as the duo chase after their biggest idols. Can Bubble Buddies escape their biggest fans, or will the Spongebob Squarepants Fan Club get a hold of their fame and make their way to the next round?

At match 11, Space Ghost fires a barrage of energy blasts at Megatron, but the Decepticon leader shrugs them off as he transforms into his cannon form and fire back at the talk show host. Meanwhile, Moltar tries to hack Starscream’s systems, but the Decepticon uses his aerial agility to stay one step ahead, launching missiles that Moltar barely evades. Space Ghost uses his invisibility powers to sneak behind Megatron and deliver a surprise energy punch that knocks the Decepticon off balance while Moltar is still getting hunted down by Starscream as missiles are fired all over the talk show co-host's surroundings. Can Coast to Coast managed to get enough ratings for their this crazy episode, or will Decepticon cancel all of their fundings?

At match 15, Dracula performs a hypnotic dance aimed at Jim as he tries to distract him, but the young adventurer resists as sails around the stage. Meanwhile, Grim swings it in wide arcs that force Silver to block with his mechanical sword as they fight in a battle of blades. Jim uses his energy weapon to disrupt Dracula’s dancing as the entire stage is light up in a bursts of blue energy. Meanwhile, Silver tangles Grim’s scythe with his mechanical arm, disarming the grim reaper and turning the weapon into a makeshift grappling hook that chop his legs off as the reaper helplessly tries to get away from the cyber pirate captain. Can Castlevania make a shadowy comeback, or will We’re Still Here be leaving with their loot?

Round 3 is quite the craziest battleground we seen in a while. Who will be our next set of winners? Vote now!

>"Looks like the results are coming in a couple minutes, we're in the Top 32 and yet it feels like I've barely had to move a muscle!"
"Oh please, have you seen the activity this year? Nobody has had to move anything!
DOHOHOHOHHO!
"Who is our current opponent anyway? Some kind of... Wimpy kids? Why even bother competing in something if even your team name thinks you're a sucker?"
>"Actually I respect their strength."
"Eh? Really?"
>"Yeah! I remember when I was young, people much older then me would look down upon me for my appearance or intrests and taunt me. But did that keep me down? Of course not! Why they were busy peaking in High School and dying at age 35, I began laying out the building blocks that helped make me into the man I am today! I can see a little of my younger self in those kids, even the one that kinda looks like a sociopath."
"That's an incredible story! But if you don't consider those two an embarrassment, then who will we make fun of tonight?"
>"...People who actively give a hoot about these imageboard popularity contests."
DOHHOHOHOHHOHO!

Jimbo, there’s a lesson to be learned from old men in a field where people die young.
Not even the reaper or a vampire can best us!

Why makes Silver far better at duo tournaments compared to Ruber while the latter is better at solo tournaments than the former?

Silver has usually a lot chemistry because his role in the film is that of a supporting character for the main protagonist. Ruber meanwhile is a batshit insane antagonist that is really fun to watch and play.

Silver and Ruber are both relatively speaking obscure but not that obscure on 4chan.

Silver is generally more of a /tnt/ favorite which is a smaller but more passionate tournament crowd, while Ruber has more /co/ cred because the I Have a Plan meme was boardwide and makes him more known to everyone.

Oh hon! This was terrible! The clowns we hired to make a spectacle ended up getting drunk and causing a ruckus! The hotel will be closed until further notice!
>There, there. You know I was right after all, Charlie? Everything is going to be ok. We did better than Adam and Lute who weren't even nominated and that's what matters. Let's take us both to some fun in bed, you've earned it

Bender, did you read what people have been saying about our newest seasons on Hulu?
