There’s a need for heroes who can act as game-changers on the battlefield.
>Captain
A support unit that boosts the morale and damage of nearby human units. The primary role is to empower human ranged units, utilizes "Orders" – active skills that significantly enhance specific attributes of human units for a short duration. In the late game, gains the passive skill "No Step Back," which prevents nearby human units from abandoning their positions, if the unit size is not lower than 20%, and significantly increasing their defense and melee damage. Active skill pool includes "Artillery Strike," which deals heavy damage to unarmored enemy groups, ineffective against single targets; "Airstrike," which deals massive damage to a single enemy while ignoring 70% of their armor, ineffective against groups; "Orbital Laser," which deals substantial damage within its impact radius over an 8-second duration, can be moved across the battlefield.
>Priest
A support unit that significantly boosts the morale of nearby human units. Deals no damage, the primary role is to negate psychological damage inflicted upon allied human units. In the late game, gains the passive skill "Fanaticism," which grants immunity to psychological effects and restores stamina to 80%. Every 10 seconds, can apply the "Fanaticism" effect to surrounding human units, lasting for 60 seconds. Can acquire the passive skill "Martyrdom," which increases the damage and armor penetration of all human units on the map, scaling based on the damage the Priest itself has sustained in battle.
>V.S.O.T.F. Operative
A melee unit designed to deal significant damage to individual targets and debuffing the stats of nearby enemy units. The primary role is engaging large targets and applying debuffs to enemy units. In the late game, can acquire the "New Generation of Man" passive skill, which significantly lowers enemy morale, boosts the unit's own melee damage, and permanently inflicts the "Terror" effect on enemy units. At level six, can acquire the "Fanaticism" passive skill. The skill tree offers a branching path, allowing the unit to specialize either in countering large targets or in applying debuffs, with further specialized skills available along each path.
>Intern
A support unit for experimental equipment and sentinel drones. Deals no damage, the primary role is to enhance the combat effectiveness of sentinel drones and other units the sentinel class. It possesses no passive skills other than "Recognized Scientist." Active skill pool includes "Pressure Release," which reduces heat by 40%; "Calibration," which increases armor penetration by 60% for 10 seconds; "Nanite Polymer," which restores 50% of health drone and machine units; "Experimental Fuel," which boosts speed by 40% and charge power by 20%. In the late game, the unit can acquire the "Recognized Scientist" passive skill, which reduces the cooldown of all active skills by 50% and grants the active skill "Nanite Stimulants," which grants the "Frenzy" effect to allied human units, restores 60% of their health, and increases both their damage and armor penetration by 20%.

Man, Copper-9 and it's cityscapes is such a sight to behold. That is one thing I will never forget even after 3 years since first watching this show which is the desolate and windswept cold, rusted out industrial structures and also pine barren wasteland, absolutely adore the environmental design of this show still to this day.

>The precinct hit Pavo with a disciplinary warning
>He ripped a DD's head off that had grown an entire spine, so he started using it as a flail to beat the others
>The issue's not that he did it, so much as it is that someone recorded it
>His punishment is that he has to be a crossing guard for a week
>Anyway, that's why a decorated war veteran and one of humanity's final weapons is cheerfully leading human and drone children across the street with a little stop sign
>Normally you wouldn't punish someone who just committed egregious brutality with such a peaceful and public-facing job, but he's hardly a threat to the public
>As he prepares to lead another group of kids across the street, he spots one hanging back
>Yellow eyes, gripping a tiny tail (stinger safely capped) in her hands as she stares fearfully at the sentinel drone
>Not skipping a beat, he walks over and kneels down, holding a hand out with a smile
>"Come on, let's get crossing! I don't bite."
>This is true. According to Pavo, murdoid viscera tastes uniquely awful and he's never utilized his sharp-ass teeth as a weapon.
>In this case, though, there's no veiled modelist threat behind it
>The kid was clearly too young to be around during the war, it's not her fault her parents were genocidal monsters
>Ostracizing her because of that, however, was a perfect way to build up resentment that the next generation didn't need
>Slowly, the DD child steps forward, joining the flock of kids before Pavo marches out with a spring in his step, stop sign held aloft
>The single car on the road stops and waits, the driver poking his head out the window
>"Do you really have nothing better to do?" he asks
>"Every little bit builds a brighter tomorrow!" Pavo replies
>The driver gets back in his seat, now contemplative
>Every little bit, huh...
>Maybe he'd go ahead and round up his next purchase to whatever charity- no, you could never tell if it was actually a good charity
>What he'd do was research charities and donate to one that seemed good!
>The little procession ends and Pavo walks off the street, waiting for the next group to walk across
>The driver heads on his merry way, where he'd nearly immediately forget the charity idea
