There's one solid point amongst the seas of shit the Emergencanons drop and that's that canon V is LOST. Nobody needs her, her mission is finished, and the persona she built around accomplishing said mission(rutheless, emotionally closed off psychotic) is now worse than useless.

V post canon has literally nothing in her life except "orbit Nuzi/Lizzy" and this is so obvious even the merch adds show it. But absolutely NOTHING we've made outside those two "robochristian?" and "raptor rancher" posts even comes close to addressing it!

There are interesting ideas involved with her damage/repair/failure to repair that beg to be pursued, but it just never happens for some reason, and I have no idea who what or why(be it dust's "there is no damage" or dustfag's "unrecoverable minbreak lol" is to blame for that.

NTA but one downside of writing for people in the message board format is that unless there are replies there isn't another direct feedback mechanism to judge your work by.
For example, sometimes I will see people ask a writefag specifically to revisit an old greentext series or write about a character who hasn't gotten much fleshing out in a long time, the writefag will write, and the greentext gets maybe one or no replies, often the requests for updates will outnumber the replies to said update.
Of course greens get buried all the time and reply density is partially dictated by people's schedules, but if a writefag spends a bunch of time on something and then nobody reacts to it at all I think its reasonable to assume there isn't any interest and they can move on to some other topic.

You're certainly not wrong in that writing for message boards makes it significantly harder to positively gauge whether people are interested in particular works, let alone the number of people interested, when compared to sites like AO3 that actively track views as well as offering other ways for readers to express interest without needing to leave a comment.
