Khan is desperately trying to downplay Uzi's dysfunction here. He wouldn't bring up the consequences of his own dysfunction for the same reason he dosen't bring up Nori's "kooky"ness. Of course a Liam written Worker Rebellion is a bunch of pansies that get comically massacred by the first force they encounter. But by the same token a Liam written Human Military is a bunch of bloodthirsty retards in modern tanks that die running at the first sight of real resistance(see: Internecction Cube). They'd both be the butt of a joke, but I don't see how this makes one more/less canon than the other.
