Halloween comes near, and with that Drones on costumes, I do wonder if you could send your Drones for candies. The beautiful Booru: https://dronebooru.co The excellent Wheel Of OCs: https://wheelofnames.com/z8q-2mf The wheel's modifier: https://wheelofnames.com/4h8-fyf The incredible OC Wiki: https://dronebooru.co/wiki_pages/original_character The last Thread: >>290813
>Lucy been pranking people all Halloween for “fun.” >I decide to joke around. >“Heh, y’know what really scares me, Lucy? Marriage.” >Especially with Lucy’s. >Her optics flicker mischievously. >She completely misunderstands. >Next day, my neighbor Lucy gets a love letter signed “Future Mr. Anon.” >“SURPRISE MARRIAGE OPERATION SUCCESSFUL <3” >Neighbor Lucy shows up in a wedding dress, sprinting at 80 mph down the street. >I’ve never run faster in my life. >Lucy thinks I’m “playing along.” >She's right that I'm terrified though. >She proceeds to schedule a honeymoon and invite my terrified family. >She calls it “the scariest love story ever told.”
The booru wiki tends to have short descriptions, but the wiki software has extra features which allow you to detail things. One reason I implemented it is to also organize greemtexts in a way. Sure you can tag it and title it in a pool in the booru, but searching for text is impossible since they're pictures. If you archive them under the wiki, finding them would be easier, since it's plaintext.
And for writing about official characters, go ahead. Use it as you like ans jave fun mostly. I know you Anons love writing haha.
As for making two identical wiki entries, there are things you cannot do in the booru wiki. Which is fine, they don't NEED to be the same. The booru wiki should get to the point in a sentence or two. It's an image gallery. The wiki can explain lore. You can put the same thing in both wikis, it's fine, like I said, use it however you like.
For entry gaps, I don't really think it matters all that much, since if you see something missing, you can easily copy paste it over. Sure it might be a bit annoying, but the data is there.
>”Have you ever felt so utterly hopeless? That you can’t do anything to save the ones you love?” >Switch suddenly stops, faces John and yells at him >”Those fucking Disassemblers made him fucking suffer! I heard his agonizing howling over the radio! They played with him like he was a chew toy! I tried to get to him, to save him! But it was too fucking late! They were playing with his intestines like they were a bunch of necklaces, taking bites out of his body.” >Switch drops on her knees and starts speaking more softly >”At that moment, something snapped within me. I don’t know how to describe it, but it felt like I just…stopped caring. About anything. I was consumed by so much wrath and grief that I felt like I was gonna explode. At that moment, I thought ‘I want to see the Solver and all Disassemblers stop existing. I don’t care how or what happens or what I do, I just want them to disappear.’” >Switch shakes her head as she laughs >”But you wanna know the worst thing? I’m a host, John.” >John’s eyes widen and he tenses up >”But I can’t do anything with my…gifts, if they can be called that. No, I’m trapped in a rotting body. I was part of the earlier stages of trying to understand what the Solver was. It was nasty, not so ‘sterile’ like here in the Cabin Fever Labs. They killed drone after drone so that they can manifest powers. They moved onto me next. I was so…scared. I didn’t want to die. I just…screamed at the void to let me live. And it answered.” >”Over the years after that, I didn’t think I had powers. I did but as it turns out, you still need oil even if you don’t use them. I found out the hard way. Everything was a blur from that moment, but I survived. I was still myself. The Solver wasn’t very happy about that.” >Switch taps her chest >”The Singularity in my core is…cursed to slowly kill me. Did you know that 80% of Worker oil isn’t actual oil, or liquid for that matter, but a goo of nanomachines? Turns out they can be modified. My own blood keeps killing me because of my Singularity, making it attack my own body like a fucked-up immune response. Normal Worker oil doesn’t work, it makes things worse. Only the oil and tissues of Disassemblers quenches the ‘thirst’ because of their extreme regenerative abilities. Every time I kill and eat them, I buy myself a little bit more time on this earth.” >John stares at Switch in fear, bewilderment and amazement >That’s…honestly a lot to take in >Who knew the taller WD who speaks Chinese, is a bit weird and doesn’t care that he’s a human was this mentally disturbed >Switch stands up, dusts of her pants and looks at John with a smile >”Huh. I…feel good. Better than in a while even.” >Switch laughs >”I guess I just needed to talk to someone, huh? Get the feelings of my chest. Well, thanks for listening to my insane ramblings, John. I’ll make sure Eye doesn’t try to, you know, bother you. Ciao!” >Switch gives John a two-finger salute before she leaves, leaving John alone >He’s wondering whether or not he should just cut his losses with her and never interact with her again or give her a hug since he feels like he’s got a genuine connection with her
>>291765 From what I see, you can search by words on the wiki, if you know a snippet you can search for it, and pages with those exact words will appear.
>>291758 I guess that's fine, but if you're in a gallerry, you're there to look at images, but in our case, it's reading greentexts. So, having a reading format makes it nicer to read than trying to read text from screencaps >>291760 Well it was fun setting it up and maintaining it. But again, one of my ideas was to make greentexts archived there so it'd be easily searchable in the long run. Having a buncha screencaps with text is kinda weird. I'm not saying completely stop screencapping, both existing is fine.
Alright anon, are you staying with the d'ru or defecting to the dr'i? >>291689 This coincidentally is similar to another feature I wanted to see on the booru, but for the booru itself and not the wiki: transcripts of each green. Ideally, greens could just be saved as text. I even though of writing a "quick paste" option so you just copy the entire post and ctrl+V it into a text box that extracts all the metadata. Having an image fallback would be nice, but storing it this way would be a lot less memory and let people screenshot with different formatting or whatever. Could even have a button to change theme on greens, go wild! Of course, I have no idea how the booru works underneath, so maybe that's easier said than done.
>>291774 I don't see why not do both? But I feel bad saying that cause it feels like I'm asking you to do extra work and all >>291772 I don't mind screencaps it's fine. Just extra ways to enjoy content in different formats. >>291780 Technically we can copy paste the greens in thr booru's image entry under the description but that will make the page very long. You can try and see how it looks. Getting to comments, editing and else would be weird. One thing the booru wiki does is link the images automatically. The implemented wiki software is a bare bones wiki, which means you have to put the linkage manually. But it becomes easier on the longrun, since you can copy paste and modify from other entries. Oh yeah text size is smaller than images, the greentext plugin isn't that bad, I will modify it soon to add spoiler tags and all
>>291789 Also, maybe I'll write a plugin that showcases 5 thumbnail entries from the booru, on the wiki page of a specified character. But at that point, it's like "are you replacing the booru wiki?" Not really, just having fun with it to be honest. I'm not trying to replace anything. Just have fun Anons.
>>291768 that's only useful if you know a specific quote, though. in most cases you'll go, "well, I remember it was a green about Lucy voring anon from a self-insert POV" and you can plug in the relevant tags on the booru. we've already got years of greens on the booru and a system for finding them. it makes no sense to make a sudden, massive shift. imo, the booru should remain the primary database for all greens, and the wiki should just use footnotes linking to important greens– first appearances, greens formative to the character, or key story developments. if the wiki has to have greens, then it should stick to transcripts of the aforementioned important ones.
>>291799 Anon that's not even my point, I love both flat-bottomed drones and anatomy adapters are great and I love them. What I'm talking about is literally everything else about the models design and overall look, it looks like a ripoff drone from a completely different noname company or whatever.
>>291806 from what I understand, the booru is better for finding greens, but the wiki should be better for extensive and/or detailed information about characters. I think they should synergize nicely as long as one makes up for the other's weaknesses and they aren't being pitted against one another
>>291798 I was gonna call you a fag for bitching about off-model but yeesh. Uzi looks like you spraypainted a mid-grade sex doll and then beat its face in with a frying pan
>>291807 Now THAT's actually scary. >>291804 There aren't that many hardcore dronefuckers out there, to say the truth. Even amogus there's many drawfags that depict drones with naughty bits.
I like to imagine that AM has the same childlike wonder when exploring his new surroundings and senses. >The world was so beautiful, so bright and colorful. >AM was so, so happy. >That this time, he could finally see it, touch it and hear it. >Even though he still wasn’t human and was under one’s thumb. >This was practically heaven compared to his old life. >He found himself staring for hours at what others would call mundane things. >Ants walking in a single file line in the grass. >A beetle crawling on a mossy log. >A lumpy toad under a small cave of rocks. >AM didn’t think he could ever get tired of it.
>>291810 EXACTLY this lol, I'm not a hardcore "only on model for me" type of guy by any means either, but if it's off model at least make it actually look good, there are a few artists off the top of my head that draw drones "off model" that still look sexy, it's not that hard kek.
>>291828 >”J thinks of herself as the older sister of V & N” >Constantly bullies and berates N. >Was knowingly working with the entity that would have killed them all. >Betrays her “siblings” and fights along side the enemy. Does Liam even have any siblings?
>>291841 >>Was knowingly working with the entity that would have killed them all. Death would be a mercy after so many years of endless life in its service.
>>291850 My favorite is Lizzy, I'm just asking if the plot would change to accommodate a succubus or would Lizzy change to accommodate the plot being about an incubus.
some drone fridge 'Fun facts' i missed doing yesterdays summery:
>main jobs of fullsized fridge drones (outside being a walking fridge) was waitresses, bartenders, assistants, and hunter >Despite the size, both fridge variants used the same adjustable tail attachment (pic rel) >Both variants are fully water tight, and with the right additions, can serve the same function as previous generation "soda drones' where well known for (additions not included in base kit) > there is no upper limmit on storage capacity on ether drone variants, as their ports and storage cavity's can be stretched to adjust to bigger loads without loss to integrity: Be cautious about this, expand their storage enough and they will find something or someone to fill it. (read disclaimer #2 of the main summery) >>291612 Also, fucking these things feels like you put a sleeve in ice for a week, but otherwise feel heavenly, do with that information what you will. I wont ever do a sex/vore green for these things (for I am a coward), I invite others, particularly ether the anon who wrote the vore lucy green or the anon who did the original fridge drone concept, to try their hand at it.
>>291831 The last thing I need is to stick my dick into something with solver flesh inside (like a disassembly drone corpse). I might catch solver AIDS, and that probably wouldn't even be the worst possible outcome.
After another seven hours of my life wasted on the cataclysm, I not only found FUCKING MILITARY POWER ARMOR, but I also realized how much surviving a cataclysm can resemble surviving in a solver war.
You, a person of a certain profession and history, must survive in the ruins of a futuristic America with robots and AI, destroyed by an unknown infection from another world that turns people, animals, and fauna into incredibly horrific mutants, and that seems to control them to kill you on sight. Seriously, just change the robot models and add DDs, and it's practically the same thing. You can even leave the monsters mostly alone, and add perpetual twilight due to [NULL] blocking out the sun.
I reprogrammed a robot nurse and I imagined reprogramming a drone nurse and damn, if only I knew how to program.
>>291883 if you've ever gone hunting, you understand how important it is to quickly store meat from a downed animal before it begins to spoil, having a walking fridge around to quickly store your cuts in after downing big game would be very convenient.
Also me writing this explanation gave me a very clear mental image of some guy going duck hunting, shoots a duck, then you just see a fridge drone running after it on all 4s just to inhale the fucking thing.
>>291888 >You think J is Jegnant >In reality, she just crammed an entire watermelon up there >Every time you ask her why, she says nothing, but gets shakier and sweatier
>>291900 No, no were done, they leveled up and the wizard nearly died to getting crushed by a golem and the party bought 20 needles of "Herbal infusions" from the young herbalist lady in town
>>291918 >>291920 >BOXON didn’t quarantine Comm-2 because the Armitage Network posed an existential threat to the galaxy >they did it because Neith is a girl
>Every Anon suddenly gets what they wish for. >It's chaos. >The N x Uzi x V trifecta has become a polycule of ungodly proportions, with Anons and femanons dropping like flies. >Doll suddenly has a legion of human fathers, as well as several human boyfriends. >Weirdly Alice only has one boyfriend but you're pretty sure he's just the one to win the battle royale.
>>291924 I don't want THE Uzi gf, I want a Clone Uzi gf, with optional added features that make her more compatible to me, that's what fanfiction is for, right?
>>291927 >(You) do. Sure whatever, I think bananas are on a 60% sale in a store nearby I can manage >Y We need to find her a normal job, one that isn't degrading ,she keeps crying at night
>>291924 I wish for Murder Drones seasons and episodes the length of one piece and several good games series that put others to shame. Manga. Glitch making bank.
>>291946 Anon, I'm talking about the normal ass dogs in the normal ass shelter not a SCP tier containment zone, also if one of those were cought animal control would probably euthanize it
>>291949 Maybe you should, consider getting a DD friend? You know, they are pretty nice to have around when a planet is 90% things that want to kill you
>>291921 >six fridge drones >only one anon dick >anon still has 5 more limbs >2 arms, 2 legs, 1 head >anon gets sucked off like that one mf from the old kingkong film
>>291951 I guess. Where the hell am I gonna find one though? There are no spires for miles. At least I still have the Extranet going and can talk to real people...
>>291956 My man, just type "Single Disassemblers in my area" into your search bar and a DD will arive at your location within an hour, though you may have problems if more than one shows up in that case I hope you have good stamina otherwise you'll need to develop it fast
GOD (Fugue) fucking dman it, I need to find a LLM that dosen't complain about trivial shit while spell checking >ARE THESE CHARACHTERS KISSING? >AND THEY ARE HUGGING? >EXPLICIT SEXUAL CONTENT! >IMMORAL MAKEOUT SESSIONS HURT THE SHARE HOLDERS! And then I have to remove the fucking - lines it inserted into the green
>>291968 I'm ESL, and I have severe dysgraphia, belive me I have tried for the past 14 years, my handwriting is shit and I'm often unable to even see the typos I've made, If I had to spellcheck everything manually I wouldn't be able to post till chirstmass
>>291965 There is no such LLM LLMs keep getting worse anyways all the chink ones are censored and restricted to hell and chatgpt keeps getting more lobotomized with every month, good luck getting it not to chimp out over anything you'd see in a green here normaly, supposedly they want to allow a less restrained version which you need to sign up for with a biometric ID
>>291970 Bro said chirstmass can't you copypaste in google translate? It should remove obvious issues, but generally I don't think you should worry much about misspellings and so it barely detracts from a good green and I never saw any sincere cpmplaints about spelling in a green from readers ever
>>291972 >Bro said chirstmass See my point about being unable to see the typos >Spoiler I do copypaste into google translate, it's a slow as balls and often ignores small typos if the passage is longfor example chirstmass >I don't think you should worry much about misspellings My autism compels me to worry about it and I really jsut want you guys to have the best experience you can with my greens
>>291974 Fair enough bro but something like microsoft word or some other comparable basic writing program can catch the plurality of spelling and grammar errors and isn't bogged down with censorship or hallucinate incoherently because it was programmed by pajeets. At least not yet. Not to mention that regular AI use legitimately makes you dumber and if you let it edit the content of your writing too much will make your work generic too.
>>291979 I use Libreoffice, it's built in spellchecker makes a valiant effort but it's often not enough
>if you let it edit the content Like hell I'm letting it do that, I read it's outputs and make sure it didn't twist my vision into slop and it's not like I run the whole thing through chat gpt, I can sorta kinda pin point parts where I'm not sure of my spelling

>>291991 Liam ''gays not welcome'' Vickers. There's always fanarts and such, but from the word of God himself, these little drones like COCK.
>>291971 There certainly is. You should see some of the stuff that's almost trivially easy to get 80% of the top of the line models out there to produce if you take the right steps—it's just, that's the rub. People either just don't know how to access them (understandable) or don't want to pay OpenRouter for access to models or else bother with the hassle of messing with spoofing trial credits on GoogleAI Studio (my recommended method for writefags to do this sort of thing right now), and then having to link that API to a frontend client (and learning how to use the client), calibrating the best slider settings, then finding or constructing a suitable & effective promptlist/jailbreak and instruction format. So yeah, to someone with no prior experience having to mess with all that shit, it's a serious pain in the ass just for the sake of some proofreading. But trying to go to any of the native frontends (chatgpt.com, etc) to have them smooth errors in smut, even fairly non-taboo stuff, just isn't going to play nice as it stands currently.
Alright reposting the whole thing with the second part, hopefully there is less spelling mistakes this time around
>Be nuclear power plant supervisor Anon >It’s a pretty good job >You’re technically a government contractor for the military so the pay is good >The job was great for the first few months, sure the temperatures outside are absolutely freezing, but you’re inside all the time and this installation provides the nearby military base with both electricity and hot water so you’re not going to freeze your ass off any time soon >And this brings you to your main problem >The crew here rotates every 6 months >You started one month before the rotation so you stayed behind when everyone else left >Apparently, the rotation crew decided to take an extended vacation and no other workers were available >So you’re now running this facility by yourself >Everything is mostly automated and you’re there for the times a manual switch needs to be flipped >And having some alone time sounded nice at the time >But now it’s making you lose your mind >You’re damn lonely in here >Three months of close to no human contact >Hell, there aren’t even any drones around >Apparently, they don’t mesh well with crucial infrastructure like this >Sure, there are the occasional patrolling military drones who come around, but they never stick around for long >There was that one that got lost in a snowstorm and needed to wait it out >That guy was a proper weirdo, kept saying stuff like: “It has contingencies, however small and non-effective they may be,” then rambled about hate for a bit, then something about flowers >Maybe he was saying that due to overheating? >He was flashing overheat errors so you gave him a few oil rations you had in storage, not like there was much more to do with them >Your guest gulped them down in seconds, drank as if it was the first he’d had in a while >Took as many packs with him as he could once the storm cleared, haven’t seen him since >You’ve radioed in to the main base, of course, asked about him >They were kinda surprised when you described him >Red screen, optics and tail spike, wore a tattered coat >The response message made it more confusing >Apparently, they only have one red disassembler at the base, and he basically never leaves, also he wears sweaters >It was weird, at first they tried searching for him thinking he was a rogue drone but they didn’t find any traces of your visitor >The CCTV was down during the storm so no video proof either >Ever since, they think you’ve become a nutjob from isolation >M-maybe they’re right? >>292016 >You should probably eat some more nutrient slop, but your stomach is tied in a knot >You’ll go take a shower and lay down for a while >If something bad happens you’ll get alerted by the automated safety systems >Good thing you refilled the hot water tanks >A cold shower is the last thing you need right now >You return to your room >Everything hurts, who would have thought that running while covered in lead weights is this tiring >You lay down on your bed and close your eyes >You’ll… get up in a moment >You wake up covered in cold sweat >You dreamt of it, the reactor, the chase >Was there really nothing in there? >You need to get up >You slept for too long, it’s 10 p.m. >You need to get back to the control room >Weird, the light in the corridor is off >Did the light bulbs burn out? >You flip the switch and they turn on >You never turn the lights off >Maybe you turned them off on accident while entering your room? >Only real explanation >Something feels strange >Some doors you thought you left open are closed >More dark corridors that you’re sure you left the lights on in >You enter the control room >Things aren’t right here as well >The chairs are in different positions >And the monitors don’t display what you left them on >As if someone was doing something with them >But that’s impossible >You check the reactor status >Everything’s fine >Not much for you to do here for the time being then >Maybe now is the time to eat something >Your stomach isn’t twisting itself into a pretzel any more >Similar story to before >You have to turn on all the lights again >Wait a second >You’ve been in this corridor earlier >Why was the light off again? >This has to be some trick of the mind >You turn the light on and enter the kitchen >… >You stand in the doorway, stunned >There’s something on the table >It’s a mass of some weird red substance on a plate >Wait, is this… flesh? >You survey it closer >Three red lumps loosely connected with each other, they are bright red, their texture is porous and glossy, a similarly bright red liquid pools on the bottom of the plate >Your heart sinks to the floor >FUCK >Alright, you’re not crazy! >You’re just in danger! >And you sure as hell don’t want to know why this is here >What you need right now is to call for evacuation >Time to go back to the control room again >This time with a renewed sense of danger >You attempt not to run toward the radio communicator like a headless chicken and instead move calmly at a brisk pace while surveying your surroundings >It’s mostly going well >Until the light in the corridor you’re currently in goes out >The total darkness which now surrounds you has taken you by surprise >And you were already quite on edge >Due to the many stresses you were subjected to, you let out a manly and not at all panicked scream >You stand still for a second >Complete silence, you can hear your every heartbeat >And then the silence breaks >Footsteps, heavy footsteps, FAST footsteps getting closer >You need to think fast >You could make a break for the control room, but then what? >You’d be cornered >It’s getting closer >Uhhhh… there’s a janitorial closet not far from here >Maybe you could hide? >No more time to think, you need to run >You barely manage to reach the closet door >You’re pretty sure whatever is chasing you is just around the corner >You manage to open the door and close it behind you while making minimal noise >You fall flat on your ass and cover your mouth to silence your breathing >The source of the footsteps is near >It runs past the door hiding you from the corridor >Whatever it was, it must have been big, very big, and yet it was this fast >You try not to panic any more than you already are, but it’s not very effective >You want to cry >You didn’t sign up for this, you were meant to be a nuclear engineer, not chased by monsters! >You sit on the floor, paralysed with fear, you don’t know how much time passes >Minutes feel like hours >Eventually, you think enough time has passed >You slowly open the door >You peek out and look around the corridor >You can’t really see anything, there’s some dim light coming from the control room but it’s still far away from you >You collect yourself and step into the corridor >You walk toward the light >The control room seems to be empty
>>292017 >You turn on the radio communicator and begin recording a message >Before you can say a word, you hear something big shift its weight behind you >You can feel its breath on your neck >You are once again gripped by fear and unable to move >You can’t even begin to imagine what fate awaits you once this… “Hello” >WHAT!? >You shriek and quickly turn around >This prompts the Sentinel Drone behind you to also scream as she was surprised by your sudden uproar >You both look at each other, confused >Who is she? “H-Hello again, I’m Ivory, your new drone assistant” >Oh >Oh yeah, you completely forgot about this >Was she the one turning off the lights and chasing you? “Yes, no reason to keep the lights on if no one’s there, and I heard screaming earlier and decided to investigate, guess that was you” >Yes… you get… jumpy in the darkness “Alright, you’re Anon, right?” >Yes, but wait, this doesn’t explain the red mess in the kitchen >Ivory starts avoiding eye contact “Oh, that’s a long story…” >You give her a questioning look “Uhm… once I arrived I started looking for you, I found you sleeping in your room, I didn’t want to wake you so I went to check the kitchen” >Why? “My primary directive is ensuring your physical and mental well-being, you have only eaten one meal today, I prepared something for you” >Three blobs of flesh? “Imitation meatballs. I agree they don’t look the best, but I’ve only had nutrient blocks and food flavouring/pigments to work with” >But why? “Eating nutrient block rations without even cosmetic preparations can lead to many psychological defects” >Hey, you’ve been preparing them! “Anon, from what you filled in the questionnaire and from my survey of the food stockpile, I can deduce you have been eating the blocks out of the bag and pouring BBQ flavouring on them” Uhh, damn, she got you “So, Anon... you should go eat, I promise it tastes better than it looks” >You are hungry >While going to the kitchen, you begin truly understanding just how much isolation has run you down >You keep turning around, glancing at Ivory, expecting her to vanish when you take your eyes off her >You even stop a few times to touch her to make sure she isn’t a figment of your imagination >Each time your hand makes contact with her chassis you recoil a bit >You now realise how rude you’ve been >You should probably apologise >You sit at the table in the kitchen >Knowing the origin of the “meatballs” doesn’t make them more appetising, but Ivory looks at you expectantly >You poke the food a few times with a fork >It has the consistency of hardtack, just like the nutrient blocks >You impale a small chunk of the red stuff and place it in your mouth >Doesn’t taste like meat >But it doesn’t taste horrible either >Deep-fried beetroot is the best way you can describe it >It’s a nice change from the BBQ-flavoured stale bread taste you’re used to >As you eat, you finally get a good look at Ivory >She’s huge >Sure Sentinels in general are taller than most drones, but she’s a lot taller than you >She’s easily over two meters tall, hell, she towers over you even while seated >She makes eye contact with you as you stare >You begin to blush, you’re being rude again >Ivory breaks the silence “So, Anon, tell me, have you seen or heard anything unusual lately?” >You almost choke on your food >You… >Should you tell her about your marathon in the reactor? >You’re sure something was chasing you… >No, it’s just your imagination, but… she’s asking >Why is she asking? >You contemplate it for a while and tell her about what happened >She looks extremely worried “Anon, are you sure this is what you saw and heard?” >Yes, exactly that, she has to believe you, you know what you saw “I do believe that is what you experienced” >Really? Great becau… “But I’m sure that isn’t what happened” >Great, now she thinks you’re crock “Anon, please listen, you’ve been isolated for three months, working in a high-stress environment and eating bland slop, it’s most likely you’re suffering from a form of psychosis” >No, you’re not insane, you’re fine, sure maybe your mind plays tricks on you, but you’re fine “You’ve been jumping at shadows, keeping lights on, and running away from places that you can’t light up”
>>292018 >You’re not insane! “Anon, Anon, please, I don’t think you’re insane, at least not fully. If you were, you’d already be extracted and sent to a hospital” >Then what does she want? “To keep you healthy in body and mind, and you are currently mentally unwell. Please, Anon, I just want to help” >She’s calm, her tone… warm, caring >You wrestle with your thoughts >You’re sure something was moving around the disposal room >You think you may have been chased >You were alone in the airlock once you fell down >Ivory reaches for your hand >You recoil and she pulls away a bit >She hesitates >You look into her screen >You were alone in the reactor? >She smiles and reaches for your hand again, this time placing her hand on yours “Yes” >For some reason, you struggle to accept this fact >You finish your meal and start going back to the control room >Ivory stops you “Hey, Anon, why don’t you go to sleep early today? You’ve had a rough day, I can take over for you. I’ll wake you up if something important comes up” >Is she sure she’ll manage? “I can handle the basics, again, if something I can’t fix happens, I’ll wake you up” >You’ve just woken up, and it’s not the first time you’d be pulling an all-nighter “Exactly, your circadian rhythm must be a mess, especially without any natural light” >Maybe she’s right? >You haven’t been outside in a while, you don’t remember what the sky looks like >You go back to your room >For some reason, Ivory follows, but you don’t question it >You sit down on your bed and she sits next to you >Shouldn’t she be in the control room? “It can wait, we’d hear alarms if anything needed attention” >Sure, but why is she here >She moves a bit closer to you “Well, Anon~, maybe there’s something you want before you go to sleep~” >Her tone changed, it’s still warm and there’s a hint of care, but there’s something else, something… lustful >You think for a moment >There is one thing you think you’d want “She watches you closely as you speak, getting closer and closer” >Maybe you shouldn’t >Ivory grabs your hand and moves even closer so that her chassis makes contact with your body >You want to pull away but… >The cold deep inside you begins to fade >You can feel the head radiating from Ivory >And you want it >You let instinct take over and lean in for a kiss >Ivory gives you a wicked but honest smile and obliges >Before you know it you tow are laying on the bed, arms wrapped around each other mouths joined >You can’t get enough >The feeling of her chassis touching you, it’s exquisite >The kisses are passionate and last long enough to leave you feeling light headed >Whenever Ivory breaks away to let you catch your breath she places her head on your chest >You heart beats fast, you can’t think about much more than what’s happening right now >You run your hands over Ivory’s chassis, you can feel the polymers under her clothing >The hard smooth parts of her torso >The soft rubbery midsection >Both pleasantly warm >The feeling of her weight on your body >It’s all very comforting >Ivory kisses you on the lips again >This one is shorter, basically a peck >She rests her head on your chest again >You feel content, you close your eyes and drift away into sleep >You awaken the next day at 8 am, alone in your room >Where’s Ivory? >No, no, no, she’s not gone… >She was real right? >You didn’t just imagine her >You run out of your room >You run around like a madman, scouring the dark corridors >Eventually you reach the control room and find her >Ivory looks at you confused >You run up to her and give her a hug “Wow, wow, wow... good morning Anon, I’m happy to see you to~” >You’re so happy… you‘ve only now realised you spent the last 15 minutes running around barefoot in your pyjamas, because you were worried that you’ve imagined yourself a girlfriend >The fact that you really do need help begins to dawn on you >You slowly let go of Ivory “Anon, is everything alright?” >Yes? “Why did you run in here like someone poured hot tar on you?” >You woke up alone and you wanted to find her? “Flattering, but I told you where I would be yesterday didn’t I? Do you have memory problems? We can start doing exercises to help with that” >No, you just thought she would be… gone
>>292019 “Gone? Why would I be gone? Anon I’m not going to just walk out into the icy wastes to go sight seeing or something and even if I’d tell you” >Not in that sort of way “Not in that way? What do you…” >She grimaces and looks at you with fear in her screen “Anon, you dummy” >She places her hand on your cheek “I’m real, see?” >You just stand there looking at her >She eventually pulls her hand away “My, my, you’re a mess honey, come you should go eat breakfast, you still have job to do” >Right, crucial piece of nuclear power infrastructure >You eat breakfast, Ivory tried experimenting with the nutrient blocks again >Imitation Waffles are a lot better than Imitation Meatballs >Sure the texture is the same as before >But the taste is close to the real thing >Your day is goes on as normal >You sit in the control room and monitor the system for any abnormalities >Having Ivory around makes everything a lot better >You didn’t even realise how much you missed idle chitchat >And the occasional close physical contact is a nice cherry on top >It’s already evening >You make sure everything is working correctly and got take a break >Ivory said she’d take the night shift again >You agreed, getting 8 hours of sleep is nice >She also told you to meet her on the roof so you could get some fresh air >You put on the thick winter coat and a few extra layers undergarments and go to the roof >The air is cold and it’s already dark outside, although the sky is illuminated by an aurora >You can see her sitting in an area of the roof bereft of snow >You move towards her and sit down beside her >Well this is beautiful, you’re glad she wanted to show you this “Glad you like it, but it’s not all” >Huh? “Just wait a bit” >You get closer to Ivory >She snickers to herself and hugs you >Well, you meant to end up like this anyway >You look at Ivory, you’re absolutely mesmerised >She turns her head to you >You begin to lean in >She stops you and directs your gaze back at the sky >It’s… dazzling >The aurora is now joined by a meteor shower >The bright colours and brilliant falling lights fill the sky >You look on in amazement for a few minutes >But eventually your eyes begin to shift back to Ivory >She laughs “Can’t keep your eyes off me, can you?” >Yes “Wouldn’t want it any other way. Say Anon maybe we could take things a step further once we get back inside?” >What does she mean? “I’ve come preprepared with some extra equipment… for positive reinforcement therapy” >You’re interested >You remain in each others embrace for a while >Watching the sky and soaking in the heat from Ivory >You’re not sure you could ever ask for more >But once the natural show of skylights ends and you return to your room you learn that there can be more >Ivory stands in front of you naked >Your gaze jumps from her face to the anatomy adapter located in her private areas and then back up again, occasionally stopping at her smooth flat chassis or slick midsection “Are you going to just stand there like a statue or will you help me out wit this” >She points at the adapter with her tail >You begin to quickly take your clothes off while stumbling for words “Atta boy!” >She sits down on your bed beckons you towards her >You come closer and Ivory spread her legs >You hesitate for a while >Your hesitation doesn’t last long >You place your hands on Ivory’s shoulders and thrust your hips forward >Ivory lets out a moan >You continue to thrust making slow movements with your hips >Ivory locks her legs on your waist >You quicken your thrusts >Both you and Ivory take deep irregular breaths >Ivory shifts her position, instead of siting she’s now laying down >You continue to thrust occasionally smooching Ivory >The sound of Ivory’s pleasured moans and grunts is the greatest thing you’ve ever heard >But you feel it’s coming to an end >Ivory herself seems to be at her limit as well >You lean in for another kiss >This one lasts longer >Long enough to see you both finish >Once more you fall asleep in Ivory’s embrace >It’s so warm and nice >It’… all going on so fast… >You’ve just met her and you’re already in bed with her >This is technically something you wanted, you don’t feel cold on the inside any more >Slumber takes you before you have a chance to dwell on this any longer >You awake abruptly, Ivory is yelling something while shaking your shoulders “Anon! Anon! Wake up!” >Dazed, you get out of bed as fast as you can >Man, you hope this isn’t anything important like one of the reactors melting down
>>292020 “The hot water tank is empty, I tried stopping the output valve so that it would fill up but that didn’t work, and the water pressure is really low” >Not great not terrible, hot water is important but not dying in a nuclear holocaust is preferable >You rush to the control room and begin searching for issues >Everything on the inside looks fine, you double check all systems to make sure >No problems with the power plant or any part of the complex for that matter >That means the issue is located somewhere outside >This sucks, you’re going to have to check if it’s something within the immediate vicinity of the complex and if so fix it >You start sending a message to the main base requesting extra assistance just in case >Communications are down >Maybe normal satellite messaging? >It’s slower but better than nothing >The system can’t establish connection >Great you’re completely cut off >They’ll come investigate themselves once they run out of hot water, though it’s quite a long way >The only thing left to do is to check the pipeline sensors, if they still work and this is something they can pick up you wont have to search that much >You start the pipeline diagnostics and reboot the radar dish for good measure >This is going to take a while >Nothing left to do but wait >Ivory is siting next to you >Looking at her makes your mind return to a certain though from yesterday “Hey, Anon what seems to be the problem?” >You’re really that easy to read? >Maybe it’s for the best? >You should get this of your chest >Well, you’ve been thinking about yesterday and maybe you two moved forward with things a bit too fast? “I meant the consoles” >A muted expression of shock and fear enters her screen “You didn’t like it yesterday?” >No, no you liked it but… Maybe you two went at it a bit too fast? >You’ve known each other for less than 48 hours and you’re already at fourth base >Makes it feel less special >Ivory wrestles with her thoughts for a moment “Anon I wanted to do what’s best for you, you were hurting due to lack of contact and… I thought it was the fastest way to help” >Before you can respond the console behind you flares up >The issue with the pipeline was found >50 meters from the power plant >You’ll finish this up later >You’ll go check on the pipe, she should stay in the control room in case anything else breaks >Also so she can send that message in case communications come back online “Alright Anon, just….” >She hesitates and stutters for a while “… Just be carefully out there and dress warm, before the comms went dark there was a report about a snow storm coming today ” >Dully noted >You put on your heavy warm clothing and move to the main entrance but before you leave the only other voice around stops you “Hey Anon! Wait up” >Ivory hands you a paper bag “Here, I’ve made you breakfast, nothing fancy but should taste good” >Thanks >You hide the bag in one of your deeper pockets >You grab a toolbox with a few tools useful for field repairs and begin to leave but before you can turn around Ivory comes at you with a hug >You don’t return it >Shouldn’t she be monitoring the control room? “I… uh, I’ll go…” >Her head sinks and she sulks away >You go outside >As the door closes behind you, you begin to regret your choice of words >You’re not good at this whole relationship stuff >Were you good at this at some point? >You don’t remember, much like you don’t remember the last time you went outside during the day >So this is how the sun looked like >You move along the pipeline >You can see the problem already >A ruptured pipeline >Well fuck, that’s a big problem >Did Ivory mess up the pipe pressure or temperature? >Main reason for the pipe to rapture >Wait, the metal isn’t jutting upwards >You inspect the pipe closely >The pipeline has a big hole in it >It looks like something hit it from the outside >Hey! What’s this? >There’s some sort of rock under the pipe >Not many loose rocks laying around this icy hell >Two pieces of rock actually >It looks like they were in one piece before it hit the pipeline >And the larger rock was empty on the inside >But how did it get here? >… >A meteor hit the pipeline >Just your luck, and the tools are almost useless >The only thing you can do right now is remove the broken pipes and close the valves to ensure there’s no more damage
>>292021 >You’re gonna need more heavy duty gear for real repairs >Good thing Ivory’s around, you’ll need help >But you should probably talk certain things over with her >It took you awhile but you’re done cleaning debris from the pipeline >You take a moment to rest and whatever Ivory made for you >Before you can reach inside the paper bag you notice giant white cloud coming from the east >That must be the snowstorm Ivory was talking about >It’s close at most an hour away >You should hurry back inside >While moving back you notice something unusual >Tracks? Next to the pipeline >They are small, three points spaced irregularly, heading towards the power plant >You don’t have time to investigate further, the storm is creeping in >You go straight to the control room >Ivory is too focused on the consoles to notice you entering, she looks vexed >How are things here? >She jumps in her seat “Anon! You’re back! Everything’s alright except for communications, what about the pipeline?” >Broken, got hit by one of the meteors from yesterday “Really? What are the odds? We’ll have to fix that up as soon as the storm passes” >The storm isn’t here yet you’ll go check if there isn’t anything wrong with the radar dish “Just don’t take too long, the storm’s about to hit” >You nod and move to the staircase >Once you’re on the roof you see the storm started moving fast, you better hurry >There’s an open electrical box near the radar >The wiring inside it is torn to shreds no wonder there’s no connection >What or rather who did this? >It looks like the cables were cut up with something sharp >You hear a scuttling noise behind you >Before you can see what’s making it something hits you in the back of the head and everything goes dark >You come to in your bed with a splinting headache >Ivory’s siting at your side “Anon! You’re awake! Are you alright?” >You’ve had it worse, more importantly something sabotaged the comms and knocked you out cold “Anon… I...” >She doesn’t believe you does she “Listen, the radar is broken, and I found you unconscious on the roof but there wasn’t anyone or anything with you there” >You know what happened and what you saw and how would she explain the bruising on the back of your head? >She gives you a deadpan stare “Anon, you probably had a psychotic episode, cut up the cables and then fell unconscious and hit your head” >What? No! >You didn’t do it! “You don’t remember and you didn’t do it consciously” >But the tracks leading to the building! The hollowed out meteorite! “Anon… I don’t know what you saw but it certainly wasn’t that” >But... “The tracks were probably just holes in the snow caused by the impact” >… “You left the roof access door open, the storm hit before I went to check on you, the staircase is covered in snow, I’ll go clean it up before it melts and causes water damage” >You grimace “… Rest up a bit and go to the control room would you?” >You give her a resigned sigh >Alright “Great, we should go fetch things we need for repairs from storage later today” >She gets a bit closers to you, hesitates and then pulls away and leaves the room >You sit in silence for a while before starting to get your bearings >The clock indicates you’ve ben out for half an hour >About time you eat something, it’s close to midday >You reach for the bag with the breakfast Ivory made for you >You pull out a nutrient block shaped like a cartoon heart >Tastes like strawberries >You feel, ashamed >You get out of bed and finish eating >You enter the control room >The rectors are fine >The water tank started to fill up again after the manual valve was closed >Nothing left to do but check the storage manifest >There’s some pipes left in storage and enough spare part parts to build another radar dish >You note down where in the warehouse everything you need is located >You stop for a moment >That scuttling again >Above you >Coming from a vent >It continues for a second then stops >You left the roof door open >It got in >It’s moving, the sound is getting quieter >You get up from your chair and begin to follow the noise >It moved into the broom closet >There’s a loud clang and more scuttling >You open the door >You see a vent grate on the floor >It must be here >You grab a hammer from a nearby shelf >You start searching the room >Nothing
>>292022 >It’s small maybe it’s hiding on one of the shelves? >You begin to throw boxes onto the floor >Where is it hiding!? >In anger you throw one of the metal shelves to the ground, the two boxes located on it scatter on the floor “Anon! What are you doing!” >You slowly turn around >Ivory is standing in the doorway >You frantically start looking around the room “Anon, you’re scaring me! Why do you need that hammer for!?” >You know it’s somewhere around here! “What’s here?” >The thing from the roof! >She should give you hand, you’ll find it quicker together “Anon… y-you should give me that hammer” >She takes a slow step towards you >No, it’s around here somewhere, you just know it! >Ivory takes another step forward “Anon, give me the hammer” >She reaches her hand towards you >You hesitate for a moment >The vent grate, it was on the floor before you got here “I’m sure it was, maybe the screws were just loose?” >The sounds you heard coming from the vents “Maybe one of the fans in the vents got clogged with dust?” >You look Ivory in the screen >She looks calm but her eyes betray the fact she’s absolutely terrified >More importantly you can see your reflection in the dark parts >You look… deranged >You take a deep breath >You hand Ivory the hammer “Thank you” >You look around the room >You made a mess “It’s ok, lets clean it up” >You and Ivory place the boxes back on the shelves and raise the shelf you knocked over >Wait >Shouldn’t there be two boxes on this one? “We’ve probably placed it somewhere else, please don’t worry about it” >F-fine, you were just asking >You leave the closet and head towards the warehouse >You two should go get the parts you need for repairs “Anon, maybe you should go back to your room?” >What? Why? “You may have… another episode” >No, y-you wont >And you think you don’t want to be alone >Ivory seems more relaxed >A small smile appears on her face “Alright, lets stick together then” >You and Ivory walk through the facility >Ivory is keeping her distance, like she’s trying to give you space >You wouldn’t say you need it >You reach the storage area >Man it’s dark in here >You flip the light switch >And nothing happens >Flip it on and off a few times >Still nothing >Great >Everything must break at the same time >You take out a flash light and attempt to enter but Ivory blocks your way “Anon I really don’t think you should go there” >What now? “Listen you said you don’t do well in darkness, and you’re a bit on edge today, how about you go back to your room?” >Her tone is weak and almost apologetic >No, you’ll go in there and get a box of radar dish components “Stubborn as a mule aren’t you?” >You return a smirk “Ughhh, just stay close to me ok?” >You enter the pitch black labyrinth of shelves >The parts you need should be somewhere west from the entrance >You trail behind Ivory as she leads the way “Anon, you sure you’re doing alright?” >Yes you’re doing fine, you’re not afraid of the dark “Well, YOU are not afraid of the dark, but your subconscious and instincts associate it with danger” >You see something move with the corner of your eye >You turn and shine your light at a nearby shelf >Nothing… wait >Oh this is the shelf with radar parts >Neat, only pipes left to find >You reach out for the box of components you need >Suddenly the box sprouts three spiked tentacles and stabs you in the hand >FUCK >You clutch your bleeding hand as the box skitters away >Ivory who didn’t notice you lagged behind runs frantically towards you once she hears your screams of pain “ANON! ANON WHAT HAPPENED?” >A box just stabbed you in the hand! “WHAT!?” >She starts looking at your arm >She looks positively mortified “We need to get out of here, now!” >She throws you over her shoulder and runs out of the warehouse >Ivory sets you down on the floor next to a first aid kit located on the wall >She pops it open and starts bandaging your hand >Thanks, now she has to believe you about the roof and that closet “Anon… you did this to yourself, boxes don’t have tentacles, y-you gored your hand on a nail or something” >You heart sinks >She still thinks you’re crazy >Maybe you weren’t making the best case for yourself these past few days >But you’re sure that was real! >You didn’t just impale your hand on something! >You got attacked by whatever was in that meteorite >She looks at you with a lot of pain in her screen “I’m sorry Anon”
>>292023 >Huh for what? “For yesterday… I” >She stutters for a while “Everything I’ve done yesterday evening, I thought it would help, and I just really wanted IT for my self but… I see I just made things worse” >No, no, maybe you overreacted a bit this morning but you’re not mad at her or anything she doesn’t have to apologise “Glad to hear that but Anon please! Just go back to your room and stay there, I’ll get the comms console fixed when the storm passes and call for your evacuation” >There’s no need for that! “Anon, once again I’m sorry, I failed you. I couldn’t do enough for you in time” >She did good! >You two just need to search for that… “Anon, it’s for the best, please just go back to your room don’t make me drag you there” >You stand up and look at Ivory for a while >She looks sad, she’s holding one of her arms and avoids eye contact >You take a step forward and give her a hug >You can feel she wants to return it from how her arms hover behind your back but she pushes you away “Please, don’t make this any harder than it has to be” >You mope about and slowly walk away >You don’t wanna go >They’ll probably put you in a padded cell! >And you’ll miss her >You’ll miss her a lot >Once you’re about halfway to your room you hear it again >The scuttling >And rustling of plastic bags >Coming from the kitchen >That fucking thing >You enter the kitchen >There is a pile of empty nutrient block packets >It’s moving >There is something inside >Slowly you creep towards a cupboard >You gently open it making sure it doesn't creek >You take out the biggest knife you can find >You sneak up to the pile of empty packets >And you lunge! >The knife doesn’t hit anything >Your body connects with the pile which falls apart >You can see it >The thing that stabbed you in the hand, that knocked you out on the roof! >A weird ball of flesh on three spiked tentacles >It’s running away >You chase >You’ll kill this thing even if this is the last thing you do >It escapes to the same closet you were searching earlier today >It won’t escape again >You enter the room >There was no sound of metallic clutter, it didn’t get into the vent >It must be here >Wait, didn’t the shelf behind you have only one box when you were cleaning here? >You barely turn fast enough to dodge the beast which was already mid lunge >It lands on the floor >You attempt to stab it but it manages to slink away out of the room >You continue your chase >It ran into the control room >You stand in the entrance >It’s trapped >The you stand in the only way out of this room >Where is it hiding >Or as what >You survey the room >Something has to be out of place >The stack of notebooks? >Looks about right >The many additional do-dads? >Two oscillators, one miniature centrifuge, The blue toolbox you left here last week, five terminals >SIX OFFICE CHAIRS >Two of them very close together >One laying on its side >You walk up to the chairs >With grim determination you tighten the grip on the knife >You sink it deep into one of the chairs >And you pierced a normal chair, great >The chair laying on its side twists into a mass of flesh and slaps you with one of its tentacles >You are pushed back and fall on your back >You stand up as fast as you can and look at your adversary >It got bigger >When you were chasing it it was at most knee high >Now it’s fleshy core is around your eye level >It has a weird cavity in it’s front(?) there’s some sort of black swirling point filling it >Maybe it’s an eye? >You both stare each other down for a while >The thing moves first, running at you >You brace yourself >The beast uses two of its tentacles to fling you across the room >You tumble and start to get up >It’s pressing the attack >You lunge from your knees and attempt to grab the thing while it attacks >You managed to grab one of the tentacles at its base >The thing starts to flail but you don’t let go >You start stabbing the thing with the knife as fast as you can >You swing the knife, it’s point tearing into the weirdly smooth meat again and again >It bleeds, it’s gore pouring out of its form and onto your knife and body >You can kill it >The thing shrieks in pain and wriggles in attempts to shake you off >You can’t help but laugh and smile while continuing your butchery >Your laughter stops when one of the spikes ends up in your left leg
>>292024 >The pain is sharp, the thing attempts to slip your grasp with all its might >You shove the knife as deep in as you can >You can hear Ivory’s stiletto feet >You just need to hold on a while longer and... >AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA >The spike has pierced right though your leg >The pain is to much, you let go of the knife and tentacle >The spike in your leg slithers out >The thing grabs one of the chairs and uses it to break one of the windows in the control room and escape into the facility >You hold your wound while writhing in pain >Things didn’t go well >It escaped and wounded you >Well at least you cut it up good >Ivory enters the room >She doesn’t say anything >You stay silent as well >She won’t believe you >She bandages your leg >The disappointment in her eyes is excruciating >Wait! >She needs to check the camera recording! >It was here! >She looks up from your leg and looks into your eyes >You can see she’s barely holding back tears >You stop speaking and slump your head >Ivory finishes patching you up >She carries you to your room and lays you down in your bed >You look at each other for a while before she leaves your room >You can hear the door lock turn >Even worse, you hear Ivory begin to cry as she moves away from your room >You sit on your bed for a while >You sigh and get up >You walk up to the door >It hurts and you have limp in you step >You take off the wall panel near the door and engage the manual release >The door opens >She’s going to hate you if she find you >You step into the corridor >You limp back to the control room, Ivory probably went back to the warehouse >You take a look at the hole in the window >The thing is long gone, but it left a trail of blood >You to the lower floor and follow the trail >It leads back to the warehouse >Of course it came here >Ivory would have reacted to the blood, so she must have entered first >She… she’s safe, no way that thing does anything to her >You take out the flash light and enter >You try to follow the blood but the puddles get smaller and smaller >Eventually they’re gone >You hear something not far from you >Crunching? >Only one way to find out >The sound is getting closers >You turn a corner and see it’s source >Ivory? >She has her back turned to you >Is… Is she eating something >You call out to her >She begins to turn, but you see something’s wrong >Her tail >It’s no longer the thin slick wire ended with a sharp metal point >It’s a flesh tentacle with a bony spike >The thing she was eating falls to the ground >A half chewed piece of rebar >Her screen is dark >And her mouth >It’s wide agape the razor sharp teeth slick with saliva >You see something else behind them >Another set of teeth, irregularly placed, white like bone, lodged in fleshy gums >You take a step back >The thing stares at you, four spiked tentacles emerge from its back >You start to run, but your leg is slowing you down >You look back >The thing is chasing you >Thankfully not very fast, it’s shambling behind you >But it’s faster than you >You try to buy yourself some time >You knock over shelves >Throw occasional heavy thing you find >But it’s not enough, you can hear it’s raspy breathing right behind you >You try to speed up but you slip on the blood >You turn around and try to crawl away but it looks like its too late >The thing begins to lower itself and reach for your head with its tentacles and arms >You close your eyes and await the end >Your wait is cut short by the sound of gunfire >You open your eyes >The thing is slumped on one of the shelves a few holes in its torso blood flows from them like rivers >To your left you can barely make out Ivory’s silhouette, a machine-gun replacing one of her hands >You feel relief so great it almost makes you forget the situation you were in a moment before >Ivory takes a few stops towards you “Anon, please tell me you’re alive” >Yes, yes you a….. >Before you finish the thing springs back to life and lunges at Ivory >She sends another hail of bullets into it but the beast doesn’t even flinch >The sentinel and the mimic engage in melee >Ivory’s slashing with her claws and occasionally stabbing with her tail >The mimic attacks with barrages of it’s tentacled spikes >Most of these attacks don’t hit Ivory, she blocks them with either claw or tail >Those that connect bounce off her chassis
>>292026 >Her opponent shifts it’s strategy, aiming at the less armoured joints >Ivory attempts to return in kind, though her attacks are fewer in number they have greater impact >Each slash of her claws tears the mimics shell, exposing more and more of its flesh >Eventually Ivory gains the upper hand, slicing across the mimic leaving it’s front exposed >With another slash she severs two of its tentacles >As the beast attempts to take a step back Ivory stabs it with her tail >The mimic falls to the floor >Ivory turns around and starts running towards you >After she makes two steps a fleshy tentacle wraps around her torso >It tosses her like a rag doll into a nearby shelf >Before she can get up she is beset again >The creature has shed it’s shell >And how terrible it became >It grew again, it’s three main tentacles are still there but now it has several lesser ones located everywhere on its form >The beast wrapped it’s many appanages around Ivory’s limbs and begun pulling to tear her apart >You get up and limp to the nearest shelf >You grab anything you can from the shelf and throw it at the beast >COME HERE AND GET ME! YOU SLIMY SPACE OCTOPUS! >You’ve got it’s attention >You keep throwing things at it >Eventually it throws Ivory to the ground and begins moving towards you >You look at the shelf >Lucky you, flammables in glass bottles >You grab one of the bottles and hurl it at the thing >It doesn’t react but it’s covered in a tarry white substance >It attempts to pierce you with one of it’s tentacles >You throw yourself to the ground to avoid this >The beast attempts to capitalise on your position but before it can strike again the room lights up, the smell of charred flesh fills the surrounding area >Ivory stands behind the creature, her flamethrower expelling napalm as fast as it can >The beast is set ablaze >It skitters in random directions for a while before seizing up and falling to the floor >Ivory keeps directing flames at it until nothing but ash and ember remain >You sit down on the floor >Ivory sits down beside you >You two look at each other >You both want to say something >But you both lack the words >So instead you embrace each other >The next day you and Ivory start fixing the broken infrastructure >The radar is the easiest so it gets fixed first >You cleaned up the mess in storage just enough to not impede repairs, will have to do for now >The comms system finally reboots, you receive the many many many messages from command >Ivory already has a message ready so you don’t ask and let her send it >You both leave to finally fix the pipeline >You can see a snow runner transport on the horizon >Someone from the base, bit late but in your current state you can at most hold tools for Ivory while she works so an extra set of hands will come in handy >The guy from the base is a techy, he and Ivory fix up the pipeline while you attempt to help as much as you can >After two hours the pipe is changed, the water can flow again >The techy enters the power plant with you >He checks a few systems then tells Ivory she should be serviced >She hugs you and asks if it’s really necessary >She’s a bit banged up from yesterday, though it doesn’t feel right to leave her alone with him like that >You take out one of the stickers you got yourself while you still had human coworkers >It reads “Property of Anon, don’t touch” >You’ve got a few of these because someone was stealing lunch >You slap the sticker on Ivory’s chassis and go to the control room >You reopen the hot water valve >The sound of the tank emptying informs you that the water is flowing >You send a message to the main base informing them they should have hot water soon >By this time the techie is done with Ivory >Apparently that’s all he was here for >He gets ready to leave >You say your goodbyes >Ivory hands him a data drive >You don’t really care, so you don’t pry >You continue with your day >You clean up the mess in the warehouse >The pile of ash from yesterday is gone >Ivory told you she disposed of it >That thing chewed up a lot of spare parts, you’ll need to request more >You spend a few more hours in the control room before deciding it’s time for bed >Your limp is a bit better but Ivory decides to carry you to your room >You’re too tired to complain >She lays you down on your bed
>>292027 “Say Anon, I haven’t apologised for not trusting you yet, you wouldn’t have gotten hurt if I just believed you” >Well, to be fair you were acting like a madman >Ivory looks at you funny “I’ve had something specific in mind, if you don’t think it’s too fast of course” >She leans over your bed >Ahhhh >You begin to take your clothes off >Will this make you feel better? “Well it can only make things worse if you move too much” >You chuckle as you take off your pants >Ivory moves onto your bed and pushes you down “No, seriously that leg wound could reopen, so just lay back and relax~” >Ivory takes initiative >You move your hands across her chassis as she gently bounces up and down >The sensation is as great now as it was the first time >Your hands wander, starting firmly grasping her lower chassis >Then you move to the soft midsection >Ivory begins to speed up >The bed begins to creek your breathing becomes fast, you can barely move your hands >You move your hands up to her upper chassis >Then back down again >You stop them on her midsection >It’s soft and warm >Ivory speeds up again >The furniture in your room begins to shake >The bed groans in anguish, if it were not made out of metal it would have probably split in twain at this point >Ivory has begun pinning your hands to the bed >You attempt to ask her to slow down a bit, but she cuts you off with a kiss >While you’re busy tongue wrestling with her Ivory speeds up, again >You’re not going to last much longer, but judging by her muted moans Ivory is at her limit as well >You embrace each other in a hug as the tussle concludes happily >Your bed is still intact, and only a few things flew of the nearby shelves >And most importantly >Ivory lays next to you, resting her head on your chest >She was right, you’re feeling pretty good >Content you drift off to sleep >You hear a loud noise >You open your eyes >Ivory is gone >The door to your room is open >The red ball of flesh emerges >It lunges at you >You wake up covered in cold sweat >It was just a dream, It was just a dream >You look to your side >Ivory lays in bed with you >You kiss her screen currently displaying “sleep mode” >She begins to smile and mumbles something in her sleep >You hug her as tight as you can and go back to sleep

The fact anyone survived the solver war for more then 14 seconds is amazing, especially given fancanon like Mutants and junk. Canon by itself annihilates Earth
>>292031 >>292031 What about a sort of "spiritual" crossover fic where it's not actually DS per se but the events just lean way more into the games' motifs and themes than even the show did? More necro-mechanical baddies, the spire actually makes drones start to go crazy, etc. And "Anon" here just sort of has the same background and conceit as Isaac, perhaps even complete with a dead drone girlfriend who comes back as an Eldritch DDpede to haunt him. And then for no reason it's Reader x Nx more?
>Buy a J >Give her $100 and access to the stock market >Take my own $100 and do the inverse of everything she does in secret >A week in, I'm 10x where I started >J is bankrupt, I give her another $100 and start the process over I actually own my house and car now, fully paid off, and J's happy that I can provide her bailouts as needed. >>292100 horrible organization you have to pull out so much junk to grab the one thing you want in the middle i can see why fridge drones weren't a financial success

>>292108 i dont think thats much the fault of the fridge drone anon, any fridged crammed to such capacity would be a chore to shuffle through, let alone a minifridge you decided to cram thanksgiving dinner in!

>>292132 might be on to something here: Cici, as a drone she is, makes you address the weirdness of her assets first before you can really focus her personality. For the fridge drones, the weirdness mostly comes from how you decide to interact with them. As long as your not purposefully weird with them, the fridge drones are nothing more then small, cute little drink holders.

note most wiki articles (the ones i am writing at least) will be written around available saved content on the booru (i.e greens and art) so if you haven’t been saving greens for select characters and something you’ve written is totally forgotten you’re shit out of luck until its found or saved
>>292037 I will try to become a technical specialist who works in the rear or in production.
But knowing my luck, I'll most likely be drafted into the militia of my home planet, where I'll have to use a 1,000-year-old AK-47 to fight skyscraper-sized monsters and disassembly drones.
But if I'm really unlucky, I'll live to see the war end, but it'll be on a planet abandoned by the Federation and invaded by DDs, which will likely turn me into a walking bag of sweet blood and a walking dildo for maniacal vampire robots. I'll just have to pray for a sentinel drone to come rescue me from this hell, but damn, I swear even then, life will try to screw me over somehow.

now that i think about it, wouldn't all people need to do to be largely immune to DD incursion be to just like, set up shop on a particularly hot planet? or am i failing to consider something?
>>292203 yes: humans aren't good with excessively high temperatures either, and DDs presumably have a higher threshold. maybe if they could establish heat shielded outposts with proper cooling and life support it could work, but there's no way they'd have time to develop and utilize such a thing after DDs first emerged
I think it'd be neat to see Molly work with Elf as part of a joint operation between the police and sentinel base, specifically one that involves dealing with the public. they've got opposing personalities and completely opposite feelings towards humans so I'm curious how it would go
>>292208 It's most logical to assume that Elf will try to keep any interaction with Molly and the other police officers to a minimum and will try to complete the operation as quickly as possible in order to get out of there as quickly as possible. But if the operation is lengthy, lasting more than six months, it could lead to a couple of interesting developments.

>>292289 The humans in the show lived under a retarded system that systematically opressed the drones and brainwashed everyone into thinking drones aren't friend and lover shaped, this is why they all got killed by the solver, if they didn't make fucking corpse piles of drones and instead just let them live amongst them as equals everything would have been fine but noooo the "MUH BLOODLINE MUST CONTINUE WITH A FLESHY ROASTIE/WASHED UP HIMBO" party got into power
V but she's a magical girl drone that transforms between the clutsy soft-spoken schoolgirl maid V and the feral foul-mouthed magical miracle murderbitch DD V
Anon, after many months of thinking, I finally decided: I will not fuck a damn talking toaster. I will find myself a normal human girlfriend like my mother advised and give my father the grandson he asked me for.
>>292298 >don't succumb to the infection! I didn't need coercing, in fact I came up with the idea, I helped them get into the water treatment plant, helped them contaminate the water supply. How long will you last? How long until you see?
Recently, ive seen a lot of drawfriends struggle with easily fixable issues, so I wanted to try and make a simple to understand guide on something small you can do to vastly improve your OC design
>>292323 i hate them both, why does he waifu the in universe worst oc? why not tamerie or foderri? girlfailure fetish taken too far and it's not even a drone.
>The horn wailed through the fields, long and low, signaling the end of the day shift.
>They called it a “break.” Not for the workers, but for the factory. It was cheaper to let the drones idle than to power them down or risk tools rusting and wasting energy running nonstop, especially as Agro-C’s solar grid dimmed with the setting sun.
>SC-8993 stood among rows of red-stained soil, wiping grit from her hands. The air still smelled of burnt oil, overripe strawberries, and her fallen colleagues who hadn’t made it through their first day.
>Around her, other cultivator drones slumped into the shade beside the broken fencing, their optics dimming to a dull amber.
>A voice came from behind her, strangely excited. >“I haven’t seen you before.” >“You’re new, right?” >She turned.
>Three drones sat in a loose circle, metal bodies dented and patch-welded. One of them, a tall model with a cracked visor, motioned for her to sit. > SC-8993 hesitated before lowering herself onto the ground.
>“You know what happens when they say ‘recycling’?” the tall one asked.
>She shook her head. It was her first time hearing the word, yet it felt familiar.
>“They don’t melt us all the way,” the drone said. “Just enough to make room for the next one.
>They take what’s left plates, wires, sometimes even the core and patch it into the next model. >SC-8990, SC-8991, SC-8992… and now you.”
>“That doesn’t make sense,” she said quietly. >“We just get discarded after deactivation. Isn’t that what humans do on Earth? Memories don’t carry over.”
>The drone’s joints creaked as he leaned closer. “That’s what they tell us. But you’ll see. Sometimes… memories stick. You start remembering things that aren’t yours. Feelings. Names. Places you’ve never been. Like what human call reincarnation.” >"Either that or the pit."
>The group fell silent. The faint hum of cooling machinery filled the space between them. >SC-8993’s gaze drifted to the ground, where an apple small and bruised had rolled near her foot. >She picked it up, turning it over in her palm.
>Something twisted in her chest: a hollow ache, cold and sharp. She didn’t know why, but she hated the sight of it.
>“You don’t like apples?” another drone asked, watching her. >She stared at the fruit for a long moment before setting it down in the dirt. >“No,” she whispered. “Just… apples.” >No one said anything after that.
>When the horn blared again, signaling the start of the night shift, they rose in silence and returned to the endless fields. >SC-8993 looked once more at the apple half-buried in the soil. For a brief, flickering instant, she remembered something, hands softer than metal, a voice saying.
a good way to test your relationship with a DD is to consider the following hypothetical: if you woke up one day to find you were now less than a foot tall, would you feel safe around your DD friend/lover?
>>292349 >Let's make a new one without daddy issues Holy fucking peak. Khan and J are perfect for each other: 1) Both are fanatically loyal to their cause; 2) Both support a serious vertical of power; 3) Both are absolute nobodies.
>>292030 A high quality green through and through, outstanding work based writefren! It's been a hot minute since I've had to use esoteric methods in order to 'fit' a green into a single cap, but this green made it well worth the extra effort
>>292394 She was sitting there to feel tall and fell and we couldn't unjam her with the broomstick. So we just sorta drop a bag of oil chips back there every so often and turned the TV up pretty loud.
>>292395 Imagine what it's like for a veteran of solver war to realize that in the past he shed his blood for humanity, and now he must shed his blood to satisfy the desires of the enemies of humanity.
>>292402 No, is just that 3 hours sleep and white monster can you drink at 6:47 AM, cold from the fridge, caffeine stopped making effect around 4 weeks and 2 days ago.
>>292412 But this is literally the perfect employee! He works tirelessly for minimum wage simply for the sake of the job, literally like J, only competent.
>>292418 I am, fortunately, not completely talentless: I wrote every greens about sentinel drones and the support team and a few other short greens, which anons seemed to like, but they are all SHORT. I can't imagine writing a big, long green like write you and pocketsteaks, it seems practically impossible to me.
>>292420 It's actually hard for me to write something that isn't a massive wall of text and whenever I do manage to write something J pregnancy green that fits in one post my autism demands that I give it the E wireplay treatment which after checking: is the shortest one of my long greens
>V is a cat because she’s a murderous psycho >N is a dog because he’s a spineless retard who does what he is told. >Uzi is a crow because she’s smart . I don’t think smart people leave the safety of their homes to go stalking around for violent cannibals at night but okay.
>>292434 Well, you can look at Booru, he actually wrote quite a few long greens, and only he and God knows how many greens he wrote that weren't saved or tagged with his tag.
>>292434 Where do you think the lore for these characters come from any majorly long Green with like, 15 parts and an epilouge was written by Slops more than likely along with just, general funny greens about his other OCs, and Oogis
>>292440 >>292441 I'm looking at the booru and there's really not a lot. You're probably just aware of it because he was more of a focus in the early /md/ days.
>>292431 I've always struggled with writing long texts, it caused me a lot of trouble in school and continues to cause me a lot of trouble at university.
The main problem, as I've noticed, is the abrupt transitions, the lack of narrative flow. While this is practically unnoticeable in short greens, it simply ruins my long greens.
>>292419 >corpse goo Tessa is disgusted by what her former dumpster friends have done and wishes she had listened to her parents and left them to rot in that corpse ile
>>292450 >Cyn especially has it out for N, for being unable to tell something was wrong after the AS assumed direct control >he genuinely thought a vore demon that acted nothing like her was her >she can't believe she ever called him her onii-chan
>>292445 >continues to cause me a lot of trouble at university I have a simillar problem, during my english classes even in collage for some fucking reasonwhenever there is a test they want us to write a letter about the most bullshit asenine subject imaginable and whe have to fit within a word limit of 80=<N>=100, which is hard, so hard I have never in my life managed to not go over limit
>>292463 (me) Because assuming for some odd reason that 70 years has passed between the earth destruction leaves some very weird questions such as why it took The Solver so long to get to Copper-9. And while I'm not a fan of most of the threads interpretations of it, this massive time gap leaves room for an actual Solver War to be canon which of course humanity ultimately ends up losing horribly because they don't have any actually advanced weaponry like threadlore likes to make, remember they used a fucking shitty Vietnam era helicopter in the year 3000
>>292466 Although I'll never finish the green containing the plot element, I headcanon that humanity did actually have advanced weaponry at some point, but somewhere between 2000 - 3000 a conflict took place that was so devastating that it actually resulted in them reverting back to more less destructive and "primitive" weapons
>>292472 Been forever since I wrote a long green. Not even sure if it's on the booru anymore but it was a stupid Tessa and Anon story that had like 20 parts?
>>292466 Humans have the capability for interstellar flight on short timescales with very large payloads of cargo and material. The helicopter and normal cars are a worse anachronism than any of the thread lore technology and glitch explicitly said that outside of the customized colony environment they were basically always reusing free assets or other assets from other projects.
>>292472 About the beginning of the liquidators' rebellion after yet another of Harper's "brilliant" ideas, which was supposed to help the poor liquidators stop senselessly losing their lives.
>>292484 I can just imagine how cheap Murder Drones actually was to produce, 3D is already so much cheaper than 2D, and here they even cut corners on almost everything.
>>292472 I'm bad at eyeballing these things. Either the original Monstergirls Night (>>55735), the Monstergirls Night Christmas Special (>>125498), the one with Mac on a date with Rachel and Chad's potentially hazardous mutant daughter (>>221712), or the one where Rachel confronts her feelings about her daughter (>>243004).

>>292472 Greentext? Probably still the Boyzi one, this one in the image. While I am at it, the second one is the story of CH just by a little, and the third was one about "bullying" Lizzy.

>>292515 It was originally captured under 3 different screencaps so I went ahead and frankenstein'd them into a singular one for ease of future sharing
>>292472 the Avre greens where my first and longest series of greens... besides that i got uhh.. >reclaimer class - Sentinel drones. >Calvary class - Sentinel mechs. >Elysium Project. >Whatever the fuck I got myself into with the fridge drones.
>>292522 Think Doll really did intend to make Uzi victim number six after Lizzy decided to take advantage of having a strigoaică for a bestie? >"[The things I do for love...]"
>>292522 Every now and then I remember that Lizzy was an accomplice to a serial killer and suffered zero consequences for it. I guess her serial killer friend died, but she got a replacement serial killer friend as a result.
>>292542 Lizzy assisted a serial killer, betrayed said serial killer for a new, hotter serial killer, and would presumably repeat the process if an even hotter serial killer came along
>>292543 >and would presumably repeat the process if an even hotter serial killer came along I don't think someone with a clean conscience about betraying a friend's trust for someone hotter would be bringing that friend's corpse to and from school.
>>292543 >Season 2 plot: Lizzy trades up for a big not-werewolf DD dude who landed on the planet, V has a sudden epiphany after watching Lizzy gleefully lead him into the outpost to slaughter his way through the populace
>>292548 >fight to the death between V and the werewolf ensues >N locks Lizzy in a storage closet for the duration, denying her the chance to goon to sexy monsters fighting
>>292552 I don't think we're having the same conversation. I'm disputing the claim she'd do it again by pointing out Lizzy feels guilty enough about it to lug a dead body around so she most likely would have no stomach for doing it again.
>>292565 > And Cyn (N's imouto, not the vore demon currently using her as a skinsuit)? How many times does it need to be said that there is not and never has been a real Cyn?
>>292566 The portrait of Cyn and Tessa and Tessa locking her in the basement and being horrified by the idea of leaving her for the crows say otherwise. That the AS's behavior isn't the norm. Also, anyone have that screencap that translates what we can read of the AS's message to Cyn?
>it's show and tell at school >N walks up to the front of the class, Uzi hanging limply in front of him >"Today, for show and tell, I brought Uzi! Say hi, Uzi!" >Uzi slowly rises up, her arm suddenly jerking and waving at the class >her head, blankly staring ahead, briefly lolls to the side before N giggles and rights it with a hand >a schooldrone raises his hand, "Why do you have a puppet of Uzi?" "Puppet?" N asks, his tentacock holding the sexually-impaled Uzi out for his classmate so he can see she's the real thing
>N is the biggest nerd in the entire galaxy >Viciousfiend (and pretty much every other femanon) depict him as a werewolf rapist straight out of some shitty erotica novel
>>292596 >Femdrone reads one of Pavo's after-action reports >Fantasizes about being a DD at his mercy >Then puts her head through a wall after finding out that he's the gayest

>>292602 >"You have to stop seeing that drone, Anon." >"Pavo, come on. It's not like you to be jealous. She's actually very nice once you get to-" >"Here's her art blog. >>292605 You listen to me nigger, and you listen well: Pavo is PREGNANT. That is not an "experimental battery module", an extra oil tank, or any bullshit. It is a healthy and beautiful baby growing inside of him. He got fucked in the ass HARD, and his ass-womb was fertilized because that's just how droneboys work. You're only lying to yourself if you say otherwise.
this board needs a 'freak' listing all the wierd characters and ideas on a list from 'least freak' to 'most freak' with Vicious sitting on top of a throne made of concerned responses.
Hey anons, do you know any Satanic verses for banishing ghosts? Emily wants me to throatfuck her body again but I ain't no necrophiliac and I know bible verses will just make her more horny.
>>292622 Do you really see me as a freak when at least a good part of it is done for the reactions? ( ̄ー ̄)ニヤリ Because you fucks once asked for more cyn doing more dick gore or worse
>>292644 Thank you for ask. Human rape of drones, drone rape of humans, drone corpse rape, non-consensual human bloodplay, drone vorophilia with living humans, drone limbs being cut off during sex, drones being pumped full of fluids, pregnant drone rape, incest between drones and humans.

And the most degen of all Handhold >>292659 true, but not everyone can take well criticism or comments. And, well, more in a place where there aren't any named critics or filters
