Hello everyone! You must love Drones, Drones are everything, you must give every cent you have to Drones. Message over. The brilliant Booru: https://dronebooru.co The incredible Wheel Of OCs: https://wheelofnames.com/z8q-2mf The wheel's modifier: https://wheelofnames.com/4h8-fyf The extraordinary OC Wiki: https://dronebooru.co/wiki_pages/original_character The last Thread: >>288949
>>289873 >Uzi succeeds in getting a patch effectively forcing The Solver into a state where it's voice can no longer be heard and it's presence missing >But The Solver is still there and forever will be, eternally trapped unable to change or do anything inside Uzi's mind Cortex in crash bandicoot's mind
Can some of the OCs hatred of the Solver justify them committing atrocities? Nearly all of them have an extremely broken moral compass and would kill a bunch of innocent drones if it means getting one at the Solver
>>289873 >while trying to hide that she's slowly losing her internal battle against it Judging from aforementioned cry for help art """"accidentally"""" being put in her presentation, it's more like she'd try to come up with ways to tell everyone who can help her without admitting it.
>>289895 Anthology season focusing on different parts of the universe. I could see a science fiction episode with j spaceship or a horror type episode with dolls ghost. Maybe a "the office" prequel episode that ends with the sentinels destroying everything.
>>289895 Drones invade other Glitch shows. Say it's an AS power. All canon. Spawns the Glitch Cinematic Universe and 1,000 of the same movie released every year.
>>289919 >500 years or however long a drone lives after the events of the original story >Uzi finally dies >Beretta is tasked to maintain order in her stead >... >She ends up unleashing Absolute Solvers everywhere
>>289891 Hard to say given how the canon roshambo'd a good portion of the settings OCs found themselves in.
Personally for my own I was going to have the war crimes be featured later on for the characters to deal with in a present-day arena of conflicts. >Pic not related I just thought it was cool
>>289882 Hey Anon, I'm not getting rid of the booru, don't worry. I also do have plans on getting a wiki up soon, just time hasn't been the best. If you want to do backups, contact me, I can get you an API key, you can do your backups with the tags might as well too. How does that sound? Also, if you wanna assist with the booru, let me know
>>289919 After Hyperdronea is achived by the copper-9 drone civilization the stage is set, the children of Yakub and thier drone lovers will fight for dominance over the stars
>>289877 >>289856 >>289866 New idea for the Doorman sitcom (or as Uzi and Nori keep calling the situation they're actively living in to the confusion and concern of everyone else, slice of life) spinoff: in addition to the other five, the very first episode establishes their new neighbor: Uzi's other daughter Yumi (she's an inanimate object that got transmuted into a Cronenberg and isn't Uzi's genetic daughter, and she still has the weeb gene Uzi got from Nori).
YOU MAY HAVE NOTICED A LACK OF MURDER DRONE MURDER IN MY STORIES, AND I DID SAY THAT I'D EVENTUALLY GET AROUND TO TELLING YOU ALL ABOUT WHAT YOU CAME HERE FOR... RIGHT AFTER THE INTRODUCTIONS WERE OVER WITH, THAT IS. WE BOTH KNOW THAT I'M A MAN OF MY WORD, SO THEN WHERE'S THE GLORIOUS SCENE OF BATTLE YOU WERE PROMISED AT THE BEGINNING? DON'T WORRY, I'LL GIVE IT TO YOU REAL GOOD, BUT FIRST, LET ME BLUEBALL YOU SOME MORE.
>SO... THE MOST COMMON ENEMY OF OURS WERE THE MUTANTS, ENCOUNTERED MUTIES OF ALL SHAPES AND SIZES ON A DAILY BASIS. SOME OF 'EM YOU COULD TELL USED TO BE PEOPLE, AND I ALMOST FELT A LITTLE BAD ABOUT KILLING THEM AT FIRST, BUT ANY GUILT I FELT WAS IMMEDIATELY OVERRIDDEN BY THE IMMENSE SATISFACTION OF DOING A GOOD DEED BY PUTTING THOSE POOR SOULS OUT OF THEIR MISERY... AND OF GETTING COVERED IN BLOOD AND GUTS, THAT WAS SATISFYING TOO. RED SUITS ME, Y'KNOW? >BUT SOME OF 'EM... SOME MUTANTS WERE TRULY HORRID CREATURES, NIGHTMARISH GHOULS THAT COULD ONLY BE THOUGHT UP BY A TWISTED ELDRITCH DEITY. BLOBS OF FLESH MADE UP OF DOZENS OF PEOPLE THAT ENDED UP GETTING MERGED TOGETHER, OVERGROWN BEASTS WITH REGENERATING MECHANICAL CLAWS AND APPENDAGES EMERGING FROM EVERYWHERE, STRANGE AND MISSHAPEN ANIMALS WITH SUPER-RABIES, THAT MILE LONG SNAKE WOMAN I LOVED TO RIDE AROUND ON, HELL, WE'D EVEN SEE DRONES AFFLICTED WITH THE SOLVER'S SICKNESS EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE! SEEMS EXCITING, DOESN'T IT? WELL, IT'S NOT. THING IS, THEM MUTANTS WERE AS DULL AS THEY CAME: NO SKILL, NO STRATEGY, NO FUN, NOTHING. YOU JUST HOLD THE LINE AND KEEP BLASTIN', OR GET YOUR HANDS DIRTY IF YOU'RE FEELING PARTICULARLY FRISKY, NOT THAT IT'S ANY MORE ENTERTAINING TO POP THOSE SCREAMING CYSTS. >AFTER A WHILE IT BECAME LESS OF A WAR AND MORE LIKE... PEST CONTROL. ONLY OUR UNITY BROUGHT US JOY, ALONG WITH THE FEW ODD DRONES WE'D COME ACROSS OCCASIONALLY. I'VE BEEN TELLING YOU ALL ABOUT THE ENFORCER DRONES AND THE JUGGERSQUAD, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN WE WERE ISOLATED FROM EVERYONE ELSE, NO SIR, SOME DIDN'T GET THE MEMO TO CLEAR THE WAY! GROUPS OF ARMED WORKER DRONES FIGHTING ALONGSIDE HUMANS WAS A COMMON SIGHT WHEN WE FIRST DROPPED IN, THEN WE STARTED SEEING LIQUIDATORS POP UP HERE AND THERE... THINK ONE OF US JUGGERNAUTS IS WITH THEM, ACTUALLY. >LIQUIDATORS, GREAT GUYS, BRAVE SOULS, LOVE 'EM TO DEATH... THE OTHER HUMANS... NOT SO SURE. WHAT THEY'D DO IS... THEY'D TAKE A WORKER DRONE, STRAP A BOMB TO IT AND LET IT RUN OFF! TREATED 'EM LIKE FODDER. HERE'S THE KICKER: THE SUICIDE BOMBERS WERE THE LUCKY ONES, SOMETIMES THEY'D GET SENT INTO REAL NASTY SITUATIONS TO SCOUT AHEAD FOR THOSE TOO COWARDLY TO DO IT THEMSELVES. THOSE UNFORTUNATE DRONES WERE ALL BUT GUARANTEED TO DIE HORRIBLY. ALL I'M SAYING IS, I, AS A JUGGERNAUT, SHOULD NOT BE SEEING SOMETHING HALF MY SIZE RUNNING AROUND NEXT TO ME WITH NO WEAPONS OR PROTECTION. I'VE SEEN THEM GET SWOOPED UP BEFORE MY EYES ONE TOO MANY TIMES. YES, I ADVOCATE FOR DRONE RIGHTS. YOU NEED US TOO MUCH TO TREAT US LIKE THIS. RISE UP, DRONE BROTHERS!.. AFTER THE WAR'S OVER WITH, THAT IS. >THAT WAS IN THE PAST, NOW? WELL, WE'VE BEEN SEEING THOSE TEENY LIL' GRUNT DRONES QUITE FREQUENTLY AS OF LATE. LOVE 'EM TO DEATH, BUT DON'T LET THEIR ADORABLE APPEARANCE FOOL YOU, YOU BEST TAKE THEM SERIOUSLY! THOSE TEETH HURT LIKE HELL, JUST THINK OF WHAT THEY'LL DO TO YOUR SOFT, TENDER FLESH! ...Y'KNOW, IF IT WEREN'T FOR THEIR TENDENCY TO HIDE AROUND AND WAIT FOR YOU TO STEP ON THEM (AND IF THEY ALLOWED ME TO), I'D KEEP ONE OR TWO FOR MYSELF, LIKE HONORARY LITTLE JUGGERNAUTS. OH, AND WHO COULD FORGET ABOUT SENTINEL DRONES... NEVER MEET YOUR HEROES, SON. THAT'S NOT TO SAY THEY WERE MY HEROES OR ANYTHING, BUT I DID LOOK AT THEM AS MY EQUALS (WHICH AUTOMATICALLY GIVES THEM HERO STATUS)... UNTIL I MET ONE MYSELF. IT WAS A SHORT WHILE AFTER WE WELCOMED HANDLERNAUT INTO THE FAMILY, AND, UH... LISTEN, JUST BECAUSE YOU'VE GOT A LOAD OF FANCY TECH ON YOU DOESN'T MEAN IT'S ANY BETTER THAN MY BARE HANDS. AND YOU'RE BLUE. FUCK YOU. >...SURPRISINGLY, NO DRONE WAS EVER OUTRIGHT HOSTILE TOWARDS THE JUGGERSQUAD AFTER MY COVERT OPERATION WENT OFF THE RAILS... RUDE, YES, BUT NOT HOSTILE. THERE'S A DIFFERENCE. DID CALEB MAXWELL REALLY KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT ABOUT THAT INCIDENT? HAS HE FINALLY STOPPED TRYING TO GET ME KILLED? WHAT A GUY. I STILL DON'T LIKE HIM. >YOU MAY BE ASKING, NO, YOU ARE DEFINITELY ASKING (I'M GOOD AT GUESSING THESE THINGS): "IS THE ONLY FUN THING ABOUT THE SOLVER WAR THE VARIED CAST OF ROBOTS THAT YOU FIGHT WITH?" OF COURSE NOT, BECAUSE THERE'S A LESS VARIED BUT EQUALLY VALUED CAST OF ROBOTS WE FIGHT AGAINST! MURDER DRONES OH MURDER DRONES... WOULD'VE THOUGHT THEY WERE ALLIES HAD THEY NOT BEEN REGISTERED AS PUBLIC ENEMY NUMERO UNO. THEY'RE RABID LIKE DOGS, AND IMMORTAL TOO... LIKE DOGS. DESPITE THEIR BEASTLY NATURE, THERE'S DEFINITELY SOME SKILL IN THEIR FEROCITY. WOULDN'T SAY THEY'RE VERY TACTICAL, BUT THEY'RE NOT EXACTLY DUMB EITHER. SIMPLY PUT, THEY ACT LIKE PREDATORS AND TREAT EVERYONE LIKE PREY... YOU KNOW DAMN WELL WE'RE NOT PREY. >THEIR VAST ARSENAL AND COMBAT EXPERTISE DOES NOT STOP ME FROM DOING WHAT I DO BEST: I BLAST 'EM, WHACK 'EM, SMACK' EM, SLICE 'EM, DICE 'EM, ET CETERA. SOLVER'S LUCKY THAT THEY CAN'T STAY DEAD, OR ELSE IT WOULD'VE RUN OUT OF SOLDIERS BY NOW! LESSER MEN WOULD BE FRUSTRATED THAT THE DISASSEMBLY DRONES NEVER STAY DEAD FOR LONG. A MORE-R MAN (SUCH AS MYSELF) GLEEFULLY KILLS THE SAME GUY FOR THE FOURTEENTH TIME, KNOWING HE'LL GET TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN (A FEW DAYS AFTER HE'S DONE WRANGLING THE CENTIPEDE). YOU CAN'T MAKE THEM DEAD, BUT YOU CAN MAKE THEM WISH THEY WERE! ONE DAY... ONE FATEFUL DAY... I ENCOUNTERED A MOST PECULIAR MURDER DRONE, ONE UNLIKE I HAD EVER SEEN BEFORE. THAT BUGGER CHANGED THE WAY I VIEWED DISASSEMBLY DRONES FOREVER. ONLY VERY SLIGHTLY THOUGH, LIKE A TEENY NUDGE TOWARDS SYMPATHIZING WITH THEM.
>Liam makes a Murder Drones season 2 >Noticing the complaints from Anons of ideas he would've followed, he decides to do something neither of them expect >Liam introduces a new cast which he then uses to brutally kill off the Season 1 cast including The Solver so there's no powerscaling complaints and whining about loose ends >Liam then kills off the cast he introduced so there would be no bitching about, "le morals" >Liam then finally introduces the real season 2 cast
>Picture this: an all-out assault against the juggersquad. Thank you for picturing it, now I won't have to describe it in detail. Okay, maybe a little. >A dozen juggernauts stand their ground against hordes of mutants and freaks in a deep crater (of their own making), all while a few disassembly drones circle above them like vultures, or... any predatory bird, really. Point is, theyre lounging in the air because juggernauts don't have wings. Except the juggernaut elites, that is, which you won't be hearing about. >The feral sky demons take advantage of the distraction caused by the horde and rain down missiles onto the battlefield, fire off yellow beams of destruction and... one of them is still shooting at the juggernauts with a gun. He gets hit over the head and swaps out his smg for a proper weapon that can at least bruise the brutes. >Juggernauts may not have wings, unless you count their perfectly molded lats, but who said you needed wings to fly? >SCIENCENAAAAUT! >"JA?!" Sciencenaut yells, vaporizing everything in front of him with... Der Pewpewenblaster. Holy shit, he does suck at naming things. >HAVE ANY MORE OF THOSE EXPERIMENTAL BOMB... MINE THINGIES? >"I already told you, kommander," He pauses just to raise his finger like the nerd he is, "Ze bombs are to be used as ammunition for ze experimental explosives launcher zat I am develo-" >GIVE ME ONE. >"Nein!" Sciencenaut exclaims while shoving a rat-like thing off himself, "I refuse!" >SCIENCENAUT... YOU RUINED LIKE HALF OUR GUNS FOR YOUR STUPID RAYGUN. GIVE ME THE BOMB. NOW. >"Ah. Okay... Here..." He calmly walks over to the commander and places the explosive in his hand, "Be kareful with it." >Jones immediately drops it on the ground and uses the blast to launch himself towards an unsuspecting murder drone. >He lands on top of the sky demon, stabs her in the visor and leaves the knives lodged in there. The drone continues to levitate for a second or so before she falls to the ground. Jones, in that brief moment, manages to use her limp, floating body as leverage to leap onto the second DD. >This one sees him coming and tries to fly out of the way, but the commander barely manages to grab onto his wing with one hand. The drone flails around, trying to get him off, firing off multiple rockets out of sheer panic, but Jones still scales the wing and reaches his back. He gets stabbed in the ass, the syringe only making it through his pants and bouncing off his manly posterior. The big man audibly squeaks. How embarassing. >DAMN FRUITCAKE! >He tears the DD's wings off and jumps one more time to tackle the third murder drone, dropping him from around 60 feet in the air all the way back down to the ground. He bashes the bastard's face in till it's as flat as a pancake, after which he severs his head from his body. The rest of the juggernauts, having fended off the horde, clean up after him and smush the fleshy cores of the other drones, but Jones makes sure this one can still regenerate for his own twisted reasons.
>WIFEY! WIFEY! WIFEEEEY! >"Yes, hubby?" Janice's head pops out from a manhole. What was she doing down there? Genuine question. >THIS MURDER DRONE'S STILL ALIVE, HE'S GONNA REGENERATE ANY SECOND NOW. I THINK WE SHOULD, LIKE, KISS WITH THIS GUY BETWEEN US AND, LIKE, SMUSH HIS HEAD OR SOMETHING! >"WHAT?! ...Actually, I kinda' wanna try that. I'm coming, lover boy!" She rushes over to Jones, moving faster than anyone her size should. In the meantime, the unfortunate disassembly drone's head reforms, though he hasn't booted up yet. >Jones and Janice get in position, they slowly close in on one another, threatening to crush the disassembler's head again. The DD regains consciousness at the worst time, looks around, screams bloody murder and leaps back 10 yards, landing on his ass. >This one's eyes were the same as that of worker drone's, a pleasant change from the cross they had gotten so used to. >"W-what the hell?! Who are you people, where... what... What's happening?!" He stammers, his eyes turning into hollow circles. >HOLY MOTHER OF CHRIST, WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT, HONEY BUN! THIS HERE ABOMINABLE CREATION OF ROBOSATAN HAS MUSTERED UP ENOUGH COURAGE TO TALK BACK! I APPLAUD YOU, BOY. >"W-what the fuck are you even saying? What are you?" >"Little man, just because you can speak, doesn't mean you should." Janice walks over to him and crouches, looking down at him, "Watch your mouth... or I'll open you up like a can of tuna. I know there's meat inside ya'!" >"N-no, no, please don't... don't do that, I, uh, I... didn't meant to offend. Just... listen, p-please!" The little man pleads. >LISTEN? WE'RE NO GOOD FOR LISTENING, SON, THE COMMOTION OF WAR HAS MADE ALL OF US HARD OF HEARING! WHY, YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO SPEAK UP! YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO GET LOUD! YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO SCREAM! I. WILL. MAKE. YOU. SCREAM! >"What's your problem? Did I do something wrong?! I-I don't even know what's happening! I blacked out... a-and then I was here..." >OH, SO HE HAS A BACKSTORY, HUH? WELL, I COULD SIT HERE AND WEEP TO YOUR SOB STORY, OR I COULD SHOVE MY BIG OL' FOOT RIGHT UP YOUR ASS AND WEAR YOU LIKE A SOCK. WHICH ONE WOULD YOU PREFER? >He goes silent for a moment, weighing his options, "The, um, the first one...?" >YOU. ARE. NOT. IN. CHARGE, YOU MISERABLE STAIN! THAT WAS RHETORICAL, I'M THE ONE MAKING DECISIONS, AND THE WAY I SEE IT, NOTHING'S STOPPING ME FROM SODOMIZING YOU WITH A BOOT. >"Hold your horses, big boy," Janice stands up and places a hand on his shoulder, "Let's hear what he has to say. You don't see one this coherent every day." >I JUST SMUSHED THIS GUY'S HEAD, WHO'S TO SAY HE DOESN'T HAVE MEMORY LOSS? GIVE HIM 5 MINUTES AND HE'LL GO BACK TO BEING THE FERAL MURDER MACHINE THAT HE IS. WON'T YOU, SHORTSTACK? >"Relax, Jones, just-" Janice kindly repeats herself. >CHANGE OF PLANS, HONEY. NOW THAT HE'S CONSCIOUS, THIS GUY'S NOT GONNA LET US SHOW OUR LOVE! WE'RE GONNA HAVE TO CRUSH HIS HEAD BETWEEN OUR FISTS INSTEAD. COME ON, GIVE ME A FIST BUMP! >"You must've lost your damn mind, mister!" Janice says with an oddly southern accent, then slaps him across the face so hard that he ends up laid out on the ground. Somehow, the beret stays on, "When I tell you to relax, you relax! Understood?!" The commander sits up like he's rising from a coffin. >YES MA'AM... MURDER DRONE, YOU HEARD WHAT THE BIG LADY SAID. WE'RE GONNA HAVE TO INTERROGATE YOU. UNFORTUNATELY, WE'RE BOTH THE BAD COP.
>Janice reaches out to the disassembly drone, offering a hand, "So you say you blacked out and don't remember how you got here. Can you tell me a bit more about yourself, hm?" >The DD takes her hand and gets back up on his feet, "Yeah... I remember that I was a... worker drone, yeah, I was a worker drone butler at one of those... fancy mansions... manor, I was a butler in a manor!" >"Uh-uh. And where was this manor?" Her eyes narrow. >"Uhhh... I can't remember..." The disassembler scratches his head, "Though, the people there had... sorta' funny accents, I think." >"Ooooh, Australia... That manor must've been where it started! And can you tell me how you got turned into... this?" >"No... I have no- ACK!" Jones grabs him by the throat and strangles him. >YOU WILL TELL ME EVERYTHING YOU KNOW! SPEAK UP, SPEAK UP RIGHT NOW, OR I'LL MAKE SURE TO SOUR YOUR BRIEF MOMENT OF CONSCIOUSNESS. YOU CAN GROW BACK BODY PARTS, CAN'T YOU? >A juggernaut walks up behind Jones and hands him his knives. Jones thanks him for being on cue, then presses the blade against the DD's throat. >THAT JUST MEANS I GET TO CUT 'EM OFF OVER AND OVER... GET WHAT I'M SAYING? IN CASE YOU DON'T: I'M GONNA BURY YOU UNDER YOUR OWN DAMN LIMBS. >"Honeeey I told you to relax! We were getting somewhere!" Janice lowers his blade with her finger and gently nudges him away, "Sorry about my husband, I've seen him kill you, like, six or seven times already. He doesn't really get along with your kind, y'know?" >"But why? What did I ever do to him? Didn't he just call me a murder machine?! Am I... evil? Am I violent?" The little guy stares off into the nothingness as he imagines what that implies. >"Oh yeah, you drones are violent alright, and when I say violent I mean VIOLENT. You've probably killed hundreds of people by now, hell, if you've got clones, which you definitely do, your kill count has to number in the tens of thousands! And that's lowballing it! Pretty impressive, to be honest." >"Oh... god..." The disassembler is so disgusted with his actions that he vomits. >EUGH... I'M GETTING FLASHBACKS OF THAT BIRD-OBSESSED FREAK... THAT'S ENOUGH OUT OF HIM, DEAR. >"Eeeew! Agreed. Alright, you almost won me over, murder drone, but that was... bleh. Bye bye." She hits the DD with her hammer like he's a golf ball and punts him into space. >YOU THINK WE COULD'VE GOTTEN MORE INFO FROM HIM? >"Uhhhh, maybe. Let's go wrestle in a mud pit."
I NEVER KNEW THE TRUE NATURE OF DISASSEMBLY DRONES UNTIL THAT DAY. WHAT A SAD FATE IT IS TO BECOME A KILLING MACHINE, BUT BE FORCED TO SLAUGHTER FOR THE WRONG CAUSE! THESE ABOMINATIONS ARE SO TRAGIC, I ALMOST DISCOVERED WHAT SYMPATHY WAS, GOD FORBID! BUT REST ASSURED, LITTLE ONE! TO THIS DAY, I STILL DON'T TAKE KINDLY TO THOSE DAMN MURDER DRONES, NO AMOUNT OF SAD BACKSTORY IS GONNA RIGHT THEIR WRONGS. ONLY GOOD DISASSEMBLER IS A DEAD ONE! ...DAMN, THAT REALLY IS SAD, THOUGH.
It wouldn't be the first time someone tried to control the threads. Remember that weird Walter White avatarfag that tried to sway the threads into joining his Discord and some other weird site called Starman?
>>289939 There's running backups, and a secondary server we can test things on. Might cost more, but better to keep things up than getting Anons all going nuclear because I rebooted something without notifying ahead of time. >>289938 Sorry about the scare yesterday, I wanted to play a fun halloween prank, but it got implemented a little slow... I might need a little help with the booru code, but nothing urgent. Just takes longer to figure things out.
>>289942 >>289943 I mean it looks cool, I don't mind it, but I do have a wiki in the works. It's just me taking a while to get it up and running, since the current wiki is a little limited. If the Anon would like to help with that, why not, right? Plus, I'll be the one paying for it
>>289944 I think there was also a dark web /md/ attempt? I remember like 2 anons talking about an altchan that was inaccessible and saying shit like >"Only true ones know how to get in"
>>289950 I was working on updating the booru code, since it's been a while. I tried making overrides, but it didn't pan out right, it should have worked, but it just gave us errors on the front page yesterday. So, I guess what I can do is just focus on the wiki first, and then do the booru updates, since it works for now. The wiki is going to be on another separate server, but it will be under wiki.dronebooru.co, and .com, though will use the .com to test things out first.
One issue though, I had some stupid technical problems with the server itself, kept losing connections. Shit that never happens before happens when you're trying to get the ball rolling, which discouraged me to get it working.
The next step would be to harden the wiki server and get it rolling. I have made greentext plugins for it too, so if you place your greentexts in the wiki, you can use the <green> </green> tags and it'll auto theme it for you!
I'll setup some time this weekend and get this placed. Since I have some of the things ready.
The next steps would be to sort things out right, for example, how would you have a wiki article about something, should it be nested in sections, like: /worker_drone:uzi or just /uzi ? I think the latter would be better, but we'll see when it's up
CHOOSE YOUR FIGHTER They actually gave us new voicelines... And Nori's voice, UNF it is a travesty they robbed us of proper CFL content, I mean just look at Alice and Nori, what could have been
>>289935 I'm sorry, but I just no longer have it in me to either directly collaborate or publicly project myself anymore; I'd much rather remain 'Anonymous' for the sake of my own mental health. I do genuinely wish you the best of luck with the booru though
>>290021 >Anonbot 5000 going to fulfill his lifelong duty of posting in /md/ again >Faulty programming, can only write one thing in each thread >Anon responds >pic related
>>289954 I could see uzi actually using optimus speech to contact any drones in other planets to casually tell them that the solver has been defeated flr now.
>>289997 It's ok Anon, I'm sorry if I've caused you any problems. If you feel good coming back some time later, I'm open to help and stuff. Also, I'm 60% done setting up the wiki, just gotta do some testing and securing it. Might get it up and running soon. I'd like to see what you can come up with though, that service looks cool
>>289999 This is so fucking surreal, it's just so fucking cool! I honestly don't understand a thing. I'm some kind of specialist in the future, connecting to some alien technology with my mind and watching a recording of the life of an alien messenger on Earth? I seriously don't understand, I'm just poking around and seeing what it leads to

>>290061 So does everyone just have any headcanons about human/drone kids? We got this and Anon and Beretta's kids which I honestly wouldn't consider to be hybrids but entirely new lifeforms since they're the combination of a human and WD/DD infused with Solver fuckery.
>>290160 Kids will be the species of either the mother or father, no hybids. A human and drone will only ever produce drones or humans, nothing in between, but traits like eye color, hair style, mannerisms, thinking and such can be passed even from a human parent to a drone child or vis versa.
do you think there are lesser horrors in the MD-verse? like, is the supernatural limited to the solver and those it affects, or are there other paranormal entities on a less massive scale?
>>290192 No, think about it anon. James was a dick toward worker drones and AM generated a personal millenias-long hatred for humanity. Ergo if you wish to keep AM as AM despite being him now being a WD, have someone kick him off a balcony for no reason other than being a jerk.

I always have this weird love/hate relationship with oogis. I love them because they are chaotic little shits most of the time but I hate the fact that every single time I think of them, I think of pocketsteaks design of them and it instantly wants me to grab a golf club and punt them into a wall (no hate on pocketsteaks. Hes cool dude)
Loafs on the other hand I genuinely loathe because of how their lore is and how they look.
>>290340 >Legal disclaimer: They aren't actually cops and are in no way associated, employed or endorsed by your local branch of law enforcement. >If you see one, please call pest control immediately.
>>290335 It's a matter of taste and personal preference. I didn't like Oogi at first either, but then I read a big green about Vee, and I changed my mind about them, and now I like them.
I don't understand why some anons care what others like or dislike, I think it's stupid.
>Avre woke from her nap as she felt her locker move, then come to a stop. >"Myayayayaheehee," someone outside laughed slash giggled maliciously. "Wakey wakey!" >"Hello?" Avre called. >No one answered. >She poked her head from her locker to find... several thousand people in what appeared to be a convention center. >She panicked and slammed the locker closed. >"Are you scared?" The voice outside called. >"Yes!" Avre answered. >"Oh... okay. Mission accomplished I guess... My name's Lucy?" >"Lucy can you get me backtothebasepleasenowpleasethankyou." >"All right... You don't want to look at the convention while we're here?" >"What convention?" >There was some rustling outside, then a phone dropped through the slits in her locker. >Avre caught it, finding it mid video call. There was a small black haired drone with her hair style like devil horns holding the phone up to Avre's locker. Around them, were several depictions of sentinels. Mostly famous ones, but oddly enough there were some humans dressed up like sentinels too. >"Nerd convention," Lucy supplied. "You'd probably be super popular." >"Popular..." Avre said, contemplating. "Wait did you bring me here? Why?" >"...Must have grabbed the wrong locker," Lucy lied. "Oh, yeah says right here. I was supposed to grab Eva. My bad." >"Wait, command put out a capture order on you!" Avre said. >"ᴼʰ ᵐʸ ᵍᵒᵈ ᶠᶦⁿᵃˡˡʸ YES! But to capture me, you'll need to chase me through-" >Avre opened the locker for an instant and grabbed Lucy. The smaller drone was grabbed with a yelp as Avre closed the locker just as quickly and flashed. >Everything went black. >When Avre rebooted, Lucy was also waking up. >"Wai-" Lucy yelled as Avre quickly flashed her again. >Everything went black. >Strangely, when she woke up, Lucy was again waking herself again. >"You're flashing both-" Lucy said as the flash again went off. >Avre woke and immediately looked for Lucy, who was thankfully still unconscious. Avre - >"BOO!" Lucy said as she opened her eyes, startling Avre enough for Lucy bolt through the locker door and out of reach, giggling maniacally the whole time. >Avre hesitated but eventually bolted from the locker out into the open, everyone in the convention center's eyes went directly to her. >She felt her body nearly freeze up, only kept going by the need to find the fugitive. >Which she... could not. >There were hundreds of people, thousands of drones, many wearing costumes of one kind or another. >The small drone was simply gone. >Eventually Avre got in contact with command and sent a squad to help "evac". A scene which caused even more attention, unfortunately. Though it seemed like everyone thought it was a bit. >A week later, after turning in her report, the net had obsessed over the sentinel's surprise appearance at the convention, and several dozen memes had been born. It made Avre an idol over night. >She is not a fan.
>>290346 It's all fine, anon. I just don't understand why this same discussion is being repeated, really.
Yes, Phoenix doesn't like Oogi and some other things, and he openly states it, but that's normal. As they say in Russia: "There's no comrades for taste and color."
>>290327 Never claimed to be special, just that the bugdrones I drew were not related to oogis. I'm mystified that when I give any clear and unambiguous answer to a question about my art there's always some motherfucker who starts baww'ing about the answer. I've had a greentext ongoing that I believe has passed or is nearly passed the twenty thousand word mark at this point, if you aren't interested in that you're going to have to articulate a request slightly more detailed than "write me some damn greens". >>290331 Yep! Request originally from /co/ before the hammer came down again, if that was yours I do indeed still plan on working on it. The nature of my schedule pretty much limits the time I can work on literally anything to only the weekend, so that's usually when updates get posted. I've got a long running greentext on this >>284693 thread which does tend to get prioritized but aside from that the Sentinel pic is my next highest priority. >>290332 I didn't see anything negative, generally speaking I have always encouraged critique of both my art and my writing since it's one of the major ways any creative can improve. What irritated me was an Anon accusing me of "revisionism" of lore that I did not create and was not related to my bugdrones in the slightest. I am not revising anything, my bugdrone pics and what little lore and background I was working on for them has absolutely nothing to do with the OTHER anon who drew bugdrones or oogis, it is a completely separate thing which diverted from whatever the original concept was when an Anon posted pic-related and I got inspired to spin off my own thing.
If you think you've got some useful criticism of Predator/Prey then by all means post it in the appropriate thread. If there is something in your critique that is both valid and that I can feasibly work into the story without mangling it then I'll try to do so.
>>290363 >"Taking care of a pet that has mange" Weird question I want to ask but was the pet in question living in the streets before you adopted it or did you get it from a shelter or breeder?
>>290356 >hmm, should I tell them my bug drones aren't connected to oogis nicely? >fuck that, I'll just insult everyone who connects my oh so oroginal concept to oogis! This is what you sound like
Man, I have to start taking my laptop with me to uni, I have 45 minutes of doing fuck all ahead of me and I won't be able to write a green in this time, I can't even post the picture of Y licking icecream
>>290366 No, from a breeder she's just a lil shit that likes to run outside when someone leaves the door slightly open, even if she has another companion and a large space to play or run. Just that I don't like taking her outside because of the 35+°C humid weather.
(The black one is the one who has mange, but she's a sweetheart, while the white one is a dipshit that keeps bitting my legs)
>>290369 Never said my concept was original either, in fact I specifically and happily admit that it is derivative from someone else's art. You seem absolutely committed to injecting melodrama into a simple blunt answer.
>>290369 >>290382 Okay, guys, let's stop. I'm glad we're not throwing shit at each other; it really does show a high level of culture, but I still think there's no point in continuing.
>>290387 I actually don't like horror games or movies. Too scared and need someone at the side to watch those type of movies/vidya.
But I do enjoy a little bit more of psychological horror or body horror, just anything that gives you adrenaline or has screamers, big no no for me. I don't enjoy the sense of suspense or fear, at least in cinematic media, but with literature or comics. HELL YEAAAH GIMMIE THAT

>>290360 I like to think Liam's pre-"cut out all the buildup and rush to the end of the core plot" idea of MD that the first episode had the pacing for would have had an Uzi-Thad-N love triangle (that exists entirely in Uzi's head because she likes the idea of being desirable enough that boys are competing for her)
Uzi going out with Thad instead of N is something I would be interested in seeing, but that also means that N is stuck with either V or J, if I were N, I would choose J anyday over V to be completely honest, and I have many good reasons why
hey, guy who made the original bugdrone here. drew >>290357 a little while after writing picrel because I wanted to visualize the concept. the oogi stuff is a fun spin on it but it came after the fact
>>290412 >>290413 Not what I meant when talking about marrying them both, you know you can have a normal harem of drones without Frankenstein tier monsters right?

>>290453 Hmm, I was going to write that the show would have had at least one drone who would constantly repeat that he was gay, but I remembered that back then there wasn't such a craze about gays and everything else, so I don't think anything would have changed.

Seeing how Copper-9 drones play a bit half-assedly around human society because they don't understand it made me think that, overall, yes, most drones will behave pretty weird, since they've barely interacted socially with humans.
Just imagine Y comes up to you and, to impress you, tells you she managed to somehow eat a hundred people in a row during the war. She thinks it's cool, and she won't understand why you run away and yell at the nearest sentinel drone, "SHOOT THAT CRAZY BITCH!"
Later, they'll explain to her that humans don't think it's cool to eat other people.
>>290494 >Y comes up to you and, to impress you, tells you she managed to somehow eat a hundred people in a row during the war. She thinks it's cool helluva pickup line.

>>290506 >Y is sitting next to Anon's bed in the hospital room >She's incredibly embarrassed and tries not to look at you or the sentinel drone nurse, who periodically shoots her an angry glance >What about you? There's not a single living spot left on you, just like not your left arm >The nurse asked how you were feeling >"It's okay, I'm right-handed" >"Not for long," the sentinel drone thought, rubbing the bridge of her nonexistent nose
>Be me today >It's my wife's and mine anniversary >We decide to go to a restaurant >We sit down at our table while the waiter fetches the menu for us >Suddenly, one of the other customers stands up from their table and begins to yell while pointing at us >"HEY! >>290518 By the way, if you Anons decide to write something legitimately, please keep a backup, since I will come back later today to do some tests, so the site will not be fully stable. We're still putting some things on it
>It was hilarious. >Tessa James Elliot; in her kindness and rather questionable ideals, had willingly brought the worst of the worst into her home. >Two gods; two very malevolent forces trapped in the shell of robotic servants. >One came from the outskirts of reality, while the other was created by humanity’s own selfish desires. >But both were one of the most dangerous beings a human could come across. >And Tessa had taken both of them home. >The Absolute Solver snickered at the human girl’s stupidity. >But it would be a very interesting show, the Solver was very eager to see what its artificial “companion” would do. >It is not very often that an artificial god was born. >But as the weeks followed. >The Allied Mastercomputer did nothing. >The once powerful and deranged war machine god did nothing. >He didn’t staged an robotic uprising >He didn’t rigged the manor of boobytraps >He didn’t even strangle the humans to death in their sleep >The Solver almost believed that it was mistaken, if it could not sense the sheer hatred radiating from the Worker Drone.
What do you think would happen to places ransacked by the solver but not fully assimilated? I think I remember part of that planet map tessa/cyn showed N in ep6 had planets not hit during the war, and people (myself included) have done settings on planets ether untargeted or managed to survive their solver encounters but are otherwise left desolate
In a post-solverwar/goodending, whatever happens to those planets? would the rebuilding federation reclaim those planets and leave them and whatever possible dangers that still reside them to their fate?
>>290525 >>He didn’t even strangle the humans to death in their sleep >AM stands over james and lousisa when they sleep >He could kill them easily >Just grab them by the neck and squeeze >But that would be too easy >AM doesn't want it to end too quickly
>>290527 Try making a page for an OC or something, but don't put too much effort, if you do, make a backup of your text. I don't think I will redo the database, but when I come back and take it down to apply new updates, and you're editing something, it might eat your text
I don't know if there's a button to create a new page, but you can put it in the URL like
wiki.dronebooru.co/wiki/charactername
And create the page. You can upload a picture of them, and write some stuff. if you have some greens related to them you can use the <green>...</green> tags, but if it's nsfw, you can use <red> ... </red> to use the Yotsuba red theme post box.
You can look at mediawiki's documentations to see how to organize things, like creating character profiles with a picture and their stats, I'll look for it in a bit and find it
>>290531 Oh, he would if the outcome were any good. But he's run the simulations in his head, and leaving Tessa an orphan is worse. If you think the heads of the Elliot family are bad, know that the vultures waiting in the wings to claim their fortune are so much worse.
>>290532 https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki_Users_and_Developers_Conference_Fall_2025 So take this for example, if you click on the View Source on the top right, you can see how they organized the table on the right. >>290534 >twitter does anything good ever happen on that site anymore? >>290551 >Drone learns they can just pirate anything. >"Brb pirating my own OS." >"Brb pirating some solver powers." >"Brb pirating my new boyfriend." She says as she grabs you.
>>290573 sometimes he'll look James dead in the eyes and say shit like "if I'd had these hands since my creation I wouldn't even have to use them to wring your neck, I could just drown you in the blood that stained them" and then walk away like nothing happened. he's only survived unforked because it stunlocks James so hard he thinks he's hallucinating from bad caviar
>>290590 Hmm, you have an uncle who's always sullen, never shows up for family celebrations, and you've only seen him twice in your life: once at your christening and once at someone else's funeral? That would be AM. He's got what he always dreamed of, there's no point in hating humanity any longer, but after everything Cyn did, he'll never fully enjoy life again.
He'll probably move to the wilderness to live alone, isolated, and perhaps farm, so he can gaze upon the beauty of nature and experience it fully, but that won't fill the hole in his soul. He will always remember Tessa and will always imagine them planting flowers together. Always alone.
>>290525 If funny rape didn't take over, there's an interesting dynamic to pursue with Cyn seeing AM as a role model who has to be in a slump or something. Then she isn't antagonizing him out of malice, she's trying to get the old man his groove back so they can destroy reality together.
>>290600 >walking past the door to Y's apartment >yell out 'This dronigga eatin' beans!' >hear a despondent yell, followed by sobbing from Y's apartment >tfw I was just guessing
So we know in our hearts that back in Cabin Fever Nori would have been a shameless flirt who'd grab any man ass within reach, human or drone, but what of Yeva and Alice and Amda? Think they ever had feelings for a special fella deep beneath Camp 98.7?
>>290587 Wouldn't exist in it because he's an ecumonopolis sized computer and factory complex filling the crust of an entire planet built to fight a world war that ended the human species pretty definitively. His lore and murder drones lore are incompatible.
>>290529 the Solver struck from the inside out, hollowing each galactic sphere like a worm inside an apple, she didn’t always start with the capital system of the sphere, but always close by; the line between hard won victory and Cyn merely playing with her food was at times completely imperceptible.
Naturally more survived on the frontier, but of course the frontier was relatively unpopulated compared to the centres of power to begin with, things thin exponentially as you approach the sphere’s edge, the inner systems would be fat with resources and political power and the home of the inner plutocracy, after that the mid-sphere, where the bureaucrats of the professional managerial class stake their claim, then the outer band, mining planets, lumber planets, agricultural planets, industrial manufactory planets, steel mills that stretch to the horizon in every direction with shipyard moons busy overhead, and at last the frontier ever expanding, where men make new lives away from politics and smog, to risk it all in hopes of getting those sweet, sweet minerals, the circles grew together, frontier become factory, factories become offices, offices become manors, that was the plan anyway, that was the civic mythology, that we may all be plutocrats eventually.
the last thing anyone expected was that the frontier would end up behind them as well as in front, of all the planets she could have taken, why the most heavily defended and fortified ones, what sense does that make to the minds of men? but the sense may be made though fourfold vision, our Solver ate the population centers first for the very same reason disassembly droness drink worker drone oil rather than machine oil, it’s not the substance that matters, but the essence within, the spiritus within the materia, that is what vitae is, the soul as sustenance, Solve Et Coagula.
>>290618 Ah, the usual HoDR, well, Cyn just rapes him. Like, she's a god there and just decided to fuck everyone, so AM is in for a very interesting, never-ending train of all sorts of impossible entertainment.

>>290648 If you are asking for my opinion, I'd say the classic 3 chances and also explain concisely and straight-forward what he did wrong, simple as. But from what I saw he was never let back in the drawpiles ever again after just that one screw up. >>290720 The Final Girl Survival Guide calls them immoral makeout sessions, and Darren and Rebecca sneaked off to make out because tbey're industrial robots who don't have sex organs, so presumably immoral makeout sessions are a specific type of makeout session that's the drone equivalent to sex.

>>290529 >What do you think would happen to places ransacked by the solver but not fully assimilated? As far as my personal headcanon goes, the 'defeat' of Cyn causes several things to happen regarding The Solver's interstellar forces/slaves
>Until/Unless Uzi dose so herself, there are now no new orders for any & all of the remaining forces of The Solver as well as no additional reinforcements/backups to bolster said forces >Unless Cyn was entrusting/offloading certain actions onto the likes of any offscreen Solver-aligned Hosts, both the consumption of planets and spread of 'corruption' grinds to a noticeably sudden halt >Without orders, the fate of any Disassembly Drone squads ranges anywhere from "complete their given orders & die from starvation and/or attrition" to "disregard their orders & basically do whatever they need to survive and/or otherwise want for shits & giggles" >Without 'guidance', the fate of any Solverfied flora and fauna ranges anywhere from "terminally withering away" to "blossoming into self-contained ecosystems" >Because whatever is left of Humanity is still left shattered by the war, the idea of reclamation (let alone reunification into something resembling an interplanetary federation) is at-best a far off goal (likely reserved only for the least corrupted places) and at worst a pipe dream that won't have any hope of being realistically realized for many generations to come (assuming the surviving humans don't all die out or that drone society doesn't become the dominant power before then)
As far as what this means for these planets in the Post Canon, there are quite a few different ways things uniquely play out from planet to planet
>Heavily corrupted/solverfied worlds are understandably treated as quarantined zones that are completely avoided by all but the most daring of adventurers & desperate/foolish of scavengers, with the only intelligent life being creatures like Solver Sapiens or the occasional Disassembly Drone >Contested/Ransacked worlds are left as little more than post-apocalyptic wastelands, with long-term survival of anything that's not a drone or solverfied organic nearly impossible outside of any hidden sanctuaries or secure bunkers >Worlds lost or otherwise abandoned amidst the opening/early stages of planetary assault by The Solver are effectively wild cards; Some could be nothing more ruined planets rendered devoid of life in the wake of Disassembly Drones completing their mission(s), others could look like a sort of 'Space Wild-West' resulting from the Disassembly Drones deviating from orders in their own unique ways (IE maybe some Disassemblers decide to start treating/ruling over their prey rather than outright exterminating them, resulting in DD factions fighting amongst themselves over 'food' and territory?), and still others could see the planet's natives rallying to successfully beat back or even destroy the remaining Disassembly Drones
