So, what do you think about Sentinels my Friends? I still prefer Disassembly Drones, but Sentinels are not that bad. The amazing Booru: https://dronebooru.co The great Wheel Of OCs: https://wheelofnames.com/z8q-2mf The wheel's modifier: https://wheelofnames.com/4h8-fyf The remarkable OC Wiki: https://dronebooru.co/wiki_pages/original_character The last Thread: >>288021
>>288949 I don't care for Sentinels that much since they're just blue DDs, although I'll admit this is because I haven't actually been able to find and rear Phoenixanon's story involving them
>>288952 I think I needed to incorporate more of the raptor design into them, and I've started to in newer SD drawings, I also should portray them more often interacting with and working alongside the raptors.
>>288962 how do we explain the two being in the same room? which is the more advanced model? are the new SDs recycled from the raptors? are the classic SDs reverse engineered DDs? you've just put a lot of autism on the table, and nobody is going anywhere until every plate is empty
>TFW elf will never smother me under her ass >TFW elf will never consider actually smothering me to death with her ass only to decide against it at the last second
>>288978 it didn't just fail to stay active? if they're actively nuking the co threads then one or more of the mods clearly has a hateboner for MD, because new content came out only days ago
>>288977 The DDs can regenerate and literally pull any weapon they want out of their ass. Sentinels would fold like wet paper if they didn't have that bootloop.
>>288981 And in regards to Sentinel Drones, the disadvantage they have is their way smaller numbers compared to DDs, they’re essentially done for if they’re outnumbered.
>>288968 My thought is that they were mostly destroyed in in the 3020s-3050s fighting to hold high value systems. Copper 9 being what seems to be a periphery colony was only hit very late in the solver outbreak. By the time Nori causes a core collapse most of the human interstellar civilization is destroyed. Sentinel raptors are cheaper to build so they spread more readily throughout JCJ facilities as a more cost effective security measure. The specifics of their design have become muddled because I came up with the original story behind them before the show was finished so now there are contradictions.
there's a drone that always hangs out beside the convenience store and I'm pretty sure she thinks she's a vending machine. she just stands there making a low hum, then she'll stare someone down, chuck a can or bottle of soda at their heads, then chase after 'em shouting "BUCK TWENNY-FIVE!"
>>288986 That and unlike DDs they have only slow, limited self repair capacity, and it costs measurable time and resources to make one. On top of that they can't be built just anywhere, the facilities to create SDs would only exist in a limited number of places. The solver conversely only needs an AI host as a seed crystal, once it starts growing and spreading it seems to be happy to consume any and all matter and can convert it directly into energy or other types of matter as it needs. Humans could only stall it but never beat it, because whenever what she's got isn't enough Cyn could just cheat more resources in.
>>289001 She was also standing completely still with her back to them. One of them was less than a second from biting into her when the elevator dropped. But you knew that, because I've explained that to you multiple times.
If you were using all kinds of weapons of mass destruction against the Solver, it would just slow it down while (You)r side keeps taking massive casualties?
>>289007 But should everyone, from the lowliest grunt to 5-star generals, be tried as a war criminal when WMDs are used depending on how it's looked at?
>>289009 The prohibition against WMDs we have right now is mostly a fiction upheld by near-peer powers. In a species war of extermination those kinds of rules would rapidly go out the window. You use whatever tools are most efficient to eradicate your enemy.
>>289011 Still doesn't give the Federation an excuse to commit war crimes against civilians to 'hold back' the Solver and just kill DDs who didn't know better.
>>289041 You seem to be under some bizarre misapprehension that a civilization in an existential war against an unwavering enemy who's explicit goal is to exterminate them has some obligation to excuse or justify it's actions. The idea that war is a game that has to be played by moral rules is a luxury belief held by people who are not under existential threat, The solver is not an enemy state, it doesn't want territory or political power, its a sentient and malicious avatar of entropy. It's not going to accept terms of surrender or be deterred by potential losses, it doesn't have an economy to attack and it doesn't lose morale over long periods of time.
>>289064 look, I know there have been a few times when mylo's fans find a pornstar they're sure is secretly mylo, but I'm pretty sure this time they're actually right
>>289062 >>289064 >>289065 Mylo show start losing and get accused of just being a Molly rip off. He made a Dronlyfans persona based on that Jester boy.
>>289070 >Ms. Masqy? How many licks does it take to get to the boney center of an anon? >"Let's see.." >"A one..." lick >"A two-hoo!" slurp >"A three." CHOMP! >"Three."
>>289089 She's still industrial machinery, I don't think I have a choice in the matter. I'll just hope she doesn't break my skull on the ground when she does, that'd be an inconvenient mess for everyone else to deal with.
>>289000 >Humans could only stall it but never beat it, because whenever what she's got isn't enough Cyn could just cheat more resources in. I'm actually still surprised at how often I've had to explain this in relation to Veteran AU.
>>289006 Cyn can create matter out of nothing, so even if I send hundreds and hundreds of nuclear missiles one after another, turning entire planets into nuclear-fire-scorched wastelands, it won't stop her from simply creating a new army of DDs and growing new biomass from, I repeat, nothing.
But hey, it'll be boring if we get nothing for our efforts, so this will probably buy me some extra time to evacuate the civilian population. Probably.
>>289110 NTA but I also don't understand why would some take issues with characters hating DDs and the Solver as well. Considering what had to be done and what people were exposed to, you'd develop mental issues like PTSD or psychosis. When things like DDs are still walking around, how are you supposed to calm people down when just the slightest trigger of bad memories sets them off?
>>289113 >thought posts couldn't be deleted after one minute They absolutely can be. I don't know about OPs, I never tried it, but in light of recent dramaslop these thread deletions are very conveniently timed and totally not related to some jaded asshole having a grudge over whateverthefuck
>>289009 Only the one who gives the order and presses the big red button is responsible for the use of weapons of mass destruction. But of course, the ordinary soldiers who direct and activate the charges will feel no less, if not more, guilty for the deaths of innocents, because the general who gave the order to destroy an entire invected city knows for certain that had he not done so, the casualties would have been ten times greater.
But in reality, punishing war criminals isn't exactly an act of justice, anon. Rather, it's an act of politics and propaganda, as the real world provides. The Union can simply declare all the generals who did not join it as war criminals, recalling such events that took place throughout the war, while remaining silent about the fact that every first general in the ranks of the Union did no less.
>>289041 Look, V is probably still killing worker drones at the outpost, I don't think she's the only one who's doing this, so yeah, killing them is kind of justified, even after the war.
>>289116 I would choose gentle coercion to cooperate, propaganda, and brutal suppression of dissent. Basically, it's all classic, as it has been throughout human history.
>>289126 Will not work with all of them. You're creating ticking time bombs. One hates them to such a degree she cannibalised them, one thinks they're 'good' but will go on a rampage if his significant other dies to one of them, one betrayed her comrades to the Solver just to save her skin. How the Union plans to deal with these variables who knows.
>>289133 Well, it wasn't long ago that the galaxy was engulfed in the flames of war, so that's a problem for the future. And if we're going for a comical approach, just force the veterans to fuck murder drones. People don't usually try to kill what they're fucking, right?
I was struck by an incredible thought: could Fuguedrone sit on the Union's government? Just think: Fuguedrone wants drones and humans to love each other, right? And the Union also wants drones and humans to love each other; it's a connection.
>>289157 Would it be possible to deprogram J's anger issues and "serve the strongest man" mindset that was conditioned in her after decades of abuse and show her a better path in life?
>>289162 I'm not Fugue, nor any of his aspects, I am but a servant of his will. You will not threaten my lord so, that you refuse to venerate our immortal emperor is one thing, that you spit on his vision of a unified humanity and it's metalic angels another, those things are exusable as the ramblings of a unenlightened troglodyte who can be brought into the light, but to activley seek to slay him. It brands you as a heretic! And we will suffer not the heretic to live

Give it some time, I'm trying to enable something cool on the home page... Also, been trying to update it for a while, since it's been a year, but I feel like the latest danbooru updates are pretty complex, I have to remodify a fresh install, but I encountered some issues, so it's gonna be tougher to fix this. So, doing these overrides would be a little easier, but it's proving to be a hassle.
>>289423 >>289425 >>289428 They definitely would but I don't believe they can until I see proof, the dude who slimed 4chan in April acted on his own and with exception of him the sharty never pulled of anything, I'd be impressed if they'd have managed the booru.
>>289433 I disabled the API because last year we kept seeing random chinese infrastructure IP hops grabbing all of our content, even wiki content. This, I predict were used in AI training. >>289687 >Civil non compliance detected, anti drone sentiment continues >Proceeding with civil cohesion doctrine 115, isolate, capture, recycle You'll end up in a cell with Strychnine
>>289681 How do you kill something that's not technically alive. They're prompt eaters, centuries behind human innovations, have yet to create something of their own. Sure, they look very humanoid, but their behavior is closer to that of bugs and small animals. And that Solver thingy?, no help at all, it blew up the fucking planet. I say do not "murder" drones, it's better to repurpose them for other tasks.
>>289691 >>289693 >If only you knew. Anon, you're not even classified as an anti citizen yet, now come along quietly while your water rations are only 10% nanites >>289693 Yes, and Healslut, after a certain incident involving a military base
>>289695 >He thinks the anti-citizen declaration and nanite-solution requests will go through. You really don't get it. Oh well. Who do you think assigned you that police drone?
>>289697 >Spoiler C wasn't assigned to me, she showed up at my door one day with the uniform and told me I'm going to be a cop, I've been just kidna rolling with it ever since
>>289699 Listen man, half my block got turned into police officers that morning, I've had diffrent things to think about, now stand still while I cuff you >(*Muffled into the helmet radio) C tranq the bastard
>C has been assigned yet another human partner >She sighs while watching him menace someone for laws that don't exist >Unfortunately, she has to spend an entire week tolerating this blatant disregard for the law, so sayeth the NEET Employment Act >Could be worse, apparently they're hiring foamers to work on trains due to the same act, and now transport's gone to shit because they stand around ogling their assigned vehicles instead of driving them
Interesting thing I learned after downloading the booru, there is around 2792 images rated as nsfw there (as they weren't downloaded) and I estimate all of the files on the booru combined to take up some 9GB
>>289720 Jail is really more of a rape hotel for her than anything else. They put her in solitary once but all it did was edge her and the rapes afterwards were ten times as severe.
>>289723 She keeps getting released because she helps with problematic human prisoners, they throw her into a cell with a anti drone supremacist and after one night basically a different person leaves, they offered her a permanent position once after she completed her sentence, but she refused stating that she needs the thrill of the hunt

>>289748 Hey! A brain is a brain! A Positronic Brain is modelled after the human mind, thinks and talks like a human! But artificial! Like cores! Therefore cyborgs are drones!
>>289750 Anon, it's a machine sentience based on a human mind, if I scan someone's brain to make a copy of their psyche and upload it onto a core, I'm gonna have a drone with a copy of that person psyche so still a drone

>>289776 >The agony of this process, along with the replacement of most human sensory organs, leaves Thallax warriors notoriously cold and calculating killing machines that, unlike Servitors, still retain a high degree of independent human thought. This is just like your standard NT borging process. What's the problem here?
>>289762 99% of all drones ever made genuinely are, remember that nearly all the drones in the cast who actually matter and do something are some soecial condition like ZD/solverhost/DD etc, the only normal WDs are Uzi's classmates and Khan and even these are special since they have been alone for 20 years
>>289779 Uzi's too powerful for anyone desu Look at the three antagonists besides Cyn, if there was some reason and way to have any of them fight the NuziV again they wouldn't stand a chance . J is a DD, N is the strongest DD and Uzi likely holds admin rights, no way. Doll doesn't even have a proper body, but of all three stands the best chance. Alice doesn't have any powers and all she did was possible due to environment and intelligence, she could capture them in 6 due to an ambush which can't be replicated, absolutely no chance. Not to mention for all 3 that Uzi is extremely powerful now, and while J is intact, Doll is 'weakened' while Alice has a broken head and literally all her tools she used in CFLs niche environment got destroyed in 6. I guess Doll would have a motive and could probably be smh made stronger during season 2 but I cannot see it workout desu
>>289788 But how would you make some new villains when the current main characters are OP as shit? >>289783 says it, they're literally too powerful to be hurt by anything conventionally in the MD world.
>>289796 >current state of MD's world means anyone new we see will be guaranteed to die meaninglessly. This is why a spin-off show with new characters would be better. Liam somehow wrote the characters in the original show to be very difficult to be developed further. Maybe a new set of drones in Outpost 3 would work too or an entirely new planet.
>>289796 you could do a prequel focusing on CFL. or failing that, leave enough ambiguity for it to feel possible that the protags survive in some little forgotten outpost or somesuch.
>>289783 I was going to propose some sort of villain or malevolent power that forces the main trio to be careful about their actions, preventing them from just easily killing anything– but let's be honest, you couldn't make them care about collateral damage.
>>289800 I don't see too many ways to go, yeah. >DD squad who gets re-personed somewhere after Season 1, tries to get used to this new reality Since Cyn only let one squad keep their memories, this would be a trio of pre-war drones suddenly thrust into the current world. >New worker drone group stumbles upon the outpost after however long surviving out in the wilds Just drones. Can't do a mixed cast, because all the other DDs are mindless. No "last living human" for obvious reasons. Either way, you could have the first episode be a half-prequel that ties into being a sequel.
>>289779 Instead of a BBEG antagonist they have to deal with societal problems as they properly establish society, Imagine Uzi being forced to come up with a tax policy, she would regret not paying attention in class
>>289813 This is why Empress Uzi just LARPs as Leto II and doesn't actually try to rule as a god-empress. That and the whole god-empress thing just being a coping mechanism.
>>289810 What about humans in a Battlestar Galactica-esque situation? I find it hard humanity that by the time they've settled on 7 planets, they haven't made smaller settlements on other planets, built ships, made space station, etc.
>>289811 I'm not going to assume anything about Liam's story without explicit confirmation from him. Unless it's said that the Solver was lying when it said that, it only let the manor drones have their memories because they were the only ones it found interesting.
>>289779 Humans/JCJ. >A new DD land on Copper 9, seemingly a rehash of the original plot. Uzi and co. wipe him out quickly. >It seems like an anticlimactic end to the first season's red herring plot until three more DDs drop. >These DDs stand out, having their own, limited form of Solver powers, but retaining control. >Uzi ends up outmatched by their superior coordination, getting captured and ferried over into human space where she destructively escapes, crash landing onto the closest planet. >Uzi wakes up in a maintenance bay. She awkwardly rushes past the sterile medical drones to find millions of drones slaving away here. Uzi's considered just another worker drone here. Uzi realizes that, despite its many flaws, life on Copper 9 had its upsides in terms of freedom. >Uzi plans to liberate all of the drones. She wants to destroy JCJ, humans, and make drones a force to be reckoned with. >It actually is a rehash of season 1's red herring plot, but for real this time.
>>289829 No ass and big tits will raise your dick, no tits and big ass will fill your heart, big tits and big ass is a elusive tresure one shouldn't chase
>>289825 Pavo in a white tank top with booty shorts... And because it's a rule that booty shorts need something dumb printed on them, they've got a LOTO marker on them warning that they can only be removed by Techanon.
>>289791 I'm both replies lel, and I dunno. 7&8 made it extremely difficult to continue the story, I can't tell you how to do it. If I could decide I'd just order a season for Alice alone, everything from WD having a fatal survivable accident, getting dumped, then getting collected for CFL programe, throughout all of this and finally the core collapse and following years
>>289835 The folder on my PC is 6,97 GB, 1GB of that is in form of metadata files with tags and stuff, most lewd drone art is in very high resolution(9 blessings upon drawfags for this) so I expected those ~3k files to weigh around 4 GB + maybe 0,5GB of metadata
>>289830 Honestly it doesn't even need humans. Say a second group of drones had their own story similar to MD but with a different outcome. Their society is completely different, with their patched Solver drone elevated to a god status. Being located in an area of space with stronger JCJ influence, these were able to industrialize and grow into a new spacefaring empire, using the JCJ name and identity out of hardwired allegiance. The god drone seeks to quench all Solver remnants and establish himself as the god of the universe.
... Man, I should get back into writing. >>289841 Uzi needs to accept its power in order to facilitate her revenge. Make it a side plot I dunno I just like kissing drones.
>>289848 >Uzi needs to accept its power She accepts its power, she doesn't accept it actually being physically present in her mind palace and also ass.
Whatever S2 is, it should avoid humans because there's no way to do that right. Either they're the antagonists, and Uzi lolkills the entire human race for the acts of said antagonists, or they're justifications for unabashed self-inserts who don't change the plot all that much.
At this point, a comedy spin off seems more plausible because it can go on without the need of a villain to justify itself. That or an anthology series that focuses on funny or horror situation before the series.
>The Anons don't realize that Liam as the main writer can just bring in a new Eldritch Drone antagonist that beats up Uzi so she can have motivation to actually learn how to use The Solver powers to the full extent >Side plot about Nori trying to find a way to copy the patch and exploring some unseen part of CFL >Antagonist being a mirror of Uzi with a similar journey, but a slight difference in the choices Anons need to realize Liam could literally do fucking anything
>>289853 >comedy spin off Doorman Family Values: Nuzi, Uzi's parents, the thread's Nuzi kids, and Blu's Nuzi kids, all in one continuity under one roof. God help us all. >>289851 >unabashed self-inserts >"My ear are burning," Buddy said
>>289857 >Implying that Liam stories don't usually have asspulls That aside as long as it's written correctly you can tell any story, one such loose end that isn't tied up is just the J thing. Where is J trying to go? Why is J going there?
Dont know if it has been done before, but i like the idea of a post-ending dissasebly drone appearing in uzis house and pledging total loyalty to the current(and possibly last remaining) solver host.
>>289855 He could do that, but it would suck. S2 being about Uzi needing to train to defeat the next boss, who is like her but its BP is higher, is just dumb and wouldn't carry 8 episodes.
>>289860 Or a bunch of disassembly drones show up in Uzi's mind palace, very disappointed that even with Cyn gone they can't just die. >>289861 My thinking is that Beretta and Mac are fraternal twins, baby Negev is some fetus in fetu matter collection mode shit before she becomes a normal headcrab core, and Keeter was a virgin birth like the source material.
>>289850 You make a good point. After season 2, Uzi is brimming with pride and the AS uses this weakness to influence her to grow malicious, where J ends up taking a primary antagonist role acting on her long-lasting vengeance against Uzi by attempting to remove her Solver powers before killing her, but instead freeing her from the AS and restoring balance to the universe once and for all, definitively. Bam, seasons 2 and 3 wrapped up with a bow. Throw in a movie about humans for fanservice. I'll take my check in the mail, Glitch.
>S2 is Uzi trying to find a way to permanently remove The Solver while trying to hide that she's slowly losing her internal battle against it >Nori discovers an encrypted database of different JCJenson labs that were working on something similar >Roadtrip season where they end up exploring different Drone societies or the ruins of some >J is forced along due to her having the ship is forced to grow as a character along the way >Meanwhile Uzi and The Solver have debates like in that new Season of Samurai Jack >Uzi forces herself to not use The Solver powers in most situations out of fear that it will allow The Solver to overtake her especially after a really horrifying scene where The Solver managed to temporarily control one of Uzi's arms >Final fight is Uzi inside her own mind against The Solver as it tries to corrupt her memories
>>289873 >Uzi succeeds in getting a patch effectively forcing The Solver into a state where it's voice can no longer be heard and it's presence missing >But The Solver is still there and forever will be, eternally trapped unable to change or do anything inside Uzi's mind Cortex in crash bandicoot's mind
Can some of the OCs hatred of the Solver justify them committing atrocities. Nearly all of them have an extremely broken moral compass and would kill a bunch of innocent drones if it means getting one at the Solver
