>contrary to the never-ending blizzard outside, the metal halls and concrete bunkers of outpost-3 were warm with life >many years had passed since the incident with the solver >drones had gone back to their daily routines, living their lives, having pillbabies >the bunker, depleted through years of disassembly drone attacks, began to fill to bursting with new, mechanical life >this posed problems for some of the bunkers more unorthodox residents >John "the drone" had now, for decades, pretended to be something he was not >swallowing cups of oil, chomping down on nuts and bolts- it was only through sheer will that he had survived >and it was all so very tiresome, the drone-disguised-human's will eroding with every interaction he had with the blossoming residents of the bunker, tempered only by his mortal fear that the reveal of his identity would bring about his end >what sort of life was he living? >one day, the dam had broke, and he had gone to overseer Khan's office to come clean >he had expected banishment, terror, hatred, reprisal, witch hunts, pogroms, execution... >he hadn't expected a party >the drones, it turns out, were quite delighted to have one of their creators among them >and as John sipped an ethanol-based coolant and his inhibitions evaporated, he began to wonder what it was all for >those decades of scrounging and scraping for survival, the humiliations that he had endured in pretending to be a drone- it had really all been for nothing >he took another sip and looked at the banner above the smiling, dancing drones >"Happy Coming Out as Human Day, John!" >the chair beside him squeaked, his nose twitched as a malodorous stench overwhelmed the stench of ethanol in his drink >"Jane." >"John." >the only other living human on the planet and he had nothing to say >had they both given up their humanity during their hiding? >or had she, like John, lost it far earlier? >his musing was interrupted as a young drone took his claw- no, his hand, he reminded himself >"Wow," the little drone girl exclaimed, running her digits over the skin of his fingers as she looked up at him with cyan optics, smiling, before giggling and running back to her parents >the ghost of a smile crept on his lips >maybe humanity wasn't completely gone >he raised his glass to his face, only to find his hand holding nothing >John turned to Jane, seeing her disgusting tongue lapping against the bottom of the upturned glass cup as she slurped every drop of his drink >he sighed, brow furrowing as he pinched it between his claws- FINGERS! His exposed, fleshy, human fingers. >he had no idea what proof that coolant was, but it was no doubt quite high >it wouldn't be long before Jane was passed out drunk and no longer his problem >there was always more drink where that came from, the closest thing to a stable source of food the two had >John's musing stopped as the crowd parted, Khan and his entourage making their way through >Khan extended his hand, which John shook, the drone placing his hands on his hips as he smiled >Nori stayed still on his shoulder, staring daggers >"It's good to have you with us, John," Khan started, giving the human a friendly jab with his elbow, "the human. Drones here really appreciate having a human like you around to deal with their existential dread of being alone in a cold and unforgiving universe," he chuckled, adjusting his red goggles >John nodded, this was the part where he- >"I brought my grandkids!" Khan beamed, grabbing two nearby drones and shuffling them in front of the seated human >since John had revealed himself as human, there was nothing more drones loved to do than show him their families, their children and grandchildren, even a pet rock >some sort of subconscious desire to see the approval of their creators, to hear the reassurance that they were doing what was right >John swallowed the tinge of fear that threatened to send him bolting as a teenaged disassembler gave him an awkward wave and fanged smile, his eyes flickering between John and Jane >the shorter worker drone girl in front of him crossed her arms in front of her hoodie as she rolled her eyes, "Yeah, I already knew." >"B! Ish that you?" Jane slurred from the seat over, "M-my how you'sh've grown." >"I haven't grown since Middle School," Beretta pouted. >Khan laughed, "Aren't they great, I-" the elder drone was interrupted by a buzzing from his pocket >he took his phone in his hand and looked at the screen. >Khan's eyebrow raised, the smile disappearing from his face "I'd stay, but it seems there's someone at the outpost door. Maybe it's another guest for the party?" Khan called over his shoulder as he hurried away.
>>287096 >the doors slammed shut, the crowd returning to their merriment, conversation and laughter once again echoing around the concrete bunker >Mac rubbed his wrists as Beretta huffed and strolled off to visit Jane, suddenly alone >"Mr. John the Human, uh, Sir?" he asked, hefting a basket in front of the human. "This is from us, the Doormans. Negev couldn't come but mom and dad will be here shortly." >John took it in his hands, surprised at the heft of its contents, and lifted the cover >inside were all manner of vegetables: bright-orange carrots with deep, green stems, unblemished red potatoes, juicy celery, and more >John wiped a string of drool from his face. He looked into the eyes of the disassembler above him, "Where did you get all this?" >"Hydroponics Bay 10-D. We grow them as part of the school's 4-H group," the disassembler responded, showing a picture on his display of Mac's parents hugging him as they stand by an enormous pumpkin with a blue ribbon. Mac clasped his hands together with worry, "I-is there something wrong?" >John's eye twitched, "Bay 10-D?" he muttered. "N-no, there's nothing wrong," John spoke, the disassembly drone sighing in relief. "Nothing wrong at all." >how long had John spent wrangling every calorie out of ethanol, scrounging the wastes for preserved food... >boiling the bones of flash-frozen men and women and sucking out their marrow for nutrients >and there was a fully-functional hydroponics bay staffed by members of an agricultural club, growing pumpkins the size of small cars >John suddenly wished he still had his drink, he stared into the optic bulbs of an increasingly nervous drone >Mac laughed nervously, his eyes looking around the room for any drones he knew. "If you ever want more, just let us know," he said, pointing two finger guns at John before making a retreat to the refreshment table where his Aunt V was dipping batteries into oil dip >John sat alone, Jane having drunkenly gotten up to make a nusience of herself somewhere else while Beretta chaperoned her around >the night went on, drones coming to and fro to introduce themselves to John the human >some drone had thankfully provided John with another drink, and another, and soon his decades of built-up concerns had left him >in the first time in decades, John finally let loose >even N and Uzi had arrived and said their hellos and John wasn't squibbed by the solver witch on the spot >"[giggle]," Uzi's tail introduced itself, "are you ready, John?" >John blinked, "Ready for what?" >"The twist, silly," the tail replied, sticking out its tongue. >the door slammed open, yellow lights glaring into the door as the sounds of the party abruptly died >standing in the doorway, papers in hand, was J >her eyes narrowed as she appreciated the banner that hung above the party >clicking a JCJ pen in her hand, she made a slight adjustment to her report >"J!" N cheered, "You're back from space!" >Uzi crossed her arms, "J, you're back from space," she unenthusiastically repeated >J ignored the verbal barbs Uzi sent at her, instead addressing the crowd as she waved her papers above her head, "Everyone, I've just returned form my survey on human life in the galaxy." >John instantly straightened, all drunkenness leaving him as he paid rapt attention >"And between the humans surviving in the Titanium and Osmium systems, plus refugees returning to Sol-" she pointed a finger directly at John, "plus that one guy- I can confidently say the human species is no longer endangered."
>>287084 Nah, but a few of the themes probably are canon. >The drone population will continue to dwindle >The Solver is testing its limits, and it will take over Uzi one day But I don't think GIANT ZOMBIE SENTINEL is canon. Especially not when Cyn could have done something with the mountain of corpses instead, that probably would have been way cooler.
>>287098 >there was silence, then, like a dull roar building in intensity, drones began to whisper and talk amongst themselves >the Doorman household, J, and V all gathered around each other >John let out a breath he had been holding in for decades >the human race was saved- and he had done his part >he gulped down a hefty swig of his ethanol coolant- it was the best thing he'd ever tasted >John rose to his feet, smiling, drunkenness slackening his resolve and washing away his worries >his eyes focused on the Doormans and their disassembly friends >they looked back, eyes wide, claws out, mouths salivating >"But if they're not endangered," Beretta spoke, eyes frantically wide as her fingers stood ready to cast a spell >"That means," Mac continued, sharpening his claws against one another, drool dripping to the floor >"WE CAN EAT THEM AGAIN!" J shouted with a toothy grin, as every disassembly drone and solver witch launched themselves at John >John the human barely had time to scream before he was ripped to shreds, the Doormans and their friends filling their bellies with sweet, delicious human meat >Jane lay forgotten, face down in the punch bowl- she'd be fine >nobody wanted to eat a mutant, after all
>>287100 >humans aren’t endangered >jane isn’t conceded a human >kill john for nothing I pray on all of existence itself, that you get your neck snapped

>>287084 No, but the Absolute Solver's capabilities in it are within the realm of possibility. Maybe it's a timeline Negev briefly makes telepathic contact with? Gotta consider whether I should put it in if I ever do that "Negev gets a peek of the Ruins timeline and chats with a very confused Remmy" green.
>>287116 I find it odd to see how easy it could spread the zombie virus, given how it took time tinkering with the worker drones in episode 5 to become Solver hosts.
>>287115 that thing hasn’t showered since the core collapsed, and the face no less is even worse, the face paint been there for so long it’s permanently on him, like tattoo, for what I’ve heard, ink makes the flesh taste bad, if I where to eat a human, as a what if, it’d be a andes plane crash sort of thing, cook it up, all nice and taste, make them chunks look GOOD, not the face or torso, they deserve to have their faces seen
>>287119 >NTA Unsure. I'd start with the first few greens like these though to get a somewhat introduction on what her deal is. >>287123 Never forget whether the other writefriend considers it ""canon"" or not, that Negev once killed another "lunatic" purely because they ate her mashed potatoes despite the fact Drones don't even need to eat mashed potatoes
>>287051 >Kurt stops hating his own herritage of being an eldritch human/drone hybrid and the reincarnation of a streamer/psycho who twists reality to his own whim. >He accepts himself for what he is which allows his to finally tap into both sources of power. >With the powers to bend matter and reality and the ability to reincarnate himself when he were to die, Kurt is able to peak though the veil of time and space for a short moment. >In that time he sees the hundreds of possibilities IE fanon lore in the MD world. Timelines where he, his sister and mother didn't exist, where the Solver was benevolent, drones didn't exist...the information was endless. >He even breaks the 4th wall for a moment and sees (You) reading this post. >Maybe if he were to control his powers more precisely, he could enter these alternate timelines.
This is honestly how I interpret the Doorman from Deadlock - a being that can bridge time and space and be able to effortlessly travel between them.

>>287185 Fuck that. I'm not gonna use my personal Discord or go through the whole process to register. I just wanna draw. I think I'll just skip this drawpile. Why aren't we using that other drawpile software that doesn't require registration?
>>287084 even if you ignore the fact that Liam had no involvement, it makes no sense for it to be canon. Cyn having the ability to turn drones into literal zombies? sure, maybe before she got put into tail prison. Cyn being able to magically make anything she wants the size of a building at all is retarded, let alone while she's at her weakest. not to mention that the main trio murdered a good chunk of outpost 3's population despite the fact that they could be cured. if glitch states that it's canon, the impact on the universe is strictly negative.
>>287139 Swear to God, I remember Negev's creator trying to kill off Beretta to push his NUzi kid into the spotlight. Soured my opinion on the character ever since. Gives me the impression Negev would commit fratricide just for the attention.
>>287199 Anon that literally never fucking happened because there is no Negev creator, she was an idea a few Anons came together to create. There was one really really fucking abysmally bad take on Negev which had her as a weird war orphan that would've permanently put a stop to the character if I and a few other Anons didn't step in and say that was fucking stupid before making her what she is today.
>>287205 (me) You might be thinking about the shitty war orphan one that was made by the Mac incest guy I'm not joking they claimed to be behind that because I'm just now remembering how genuinely dogshit that idea was further, I think there was some weird Beretta hate in that green? >>287206 Yes and it is a way better idea than whatever the fuck that mess was
>>287209 (me) What actually infuriates me the most is that it had fuck all to do with the concepts that were discussed at the time, it feels like the guy just wanted to write his edgy Shit-fic for some weird "thread popularity" because there was no other explanation to whatever that was except for that
>>287206 >clinically insane Everything she's seeing is real, she's just got more autism than either of her parents >her own mother not caring for her She cares, but it's hard to give care when Negev's first memory is her 99 Insight showing her you're the most horrifying fucking thing in the universe and now she can't stand the sight of you or the sound of your voice. Just had a fucked thought. Remembering that Liam said in an old AMA about how DDs explode after completing their missions which is something we don't have any reason to believe made it into the final show. What if DDs still have an internal clock that rigs them to explode if they haven't completed their objective? Imagine if N was going to explode in 2 weeks because he didn't continue The Solver's work/do any further objectives? Just a thought
>>287233 If I were the Solver I would give every drone a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction when they completed a mission. And then have them explode. So the day that N feels accomplished and satisfied he just explodes. V will live forever.

>Will you tell Ivory about the thing that chased you in the service tunnels of Reactor Core 3? OF COURSE! I will cling to the giant sentinel drone with a death grip and beg her not to let me go.
>>287372 Cool, although I can imagine how angry pillar and rigger are, they already tried to start a drama on /co/ because anons want to upload this to Booru.
>pillar acting like the poor, innocent victim of a coordinated harassment campaign orchestrated by the evil mastermind pocketsteaks same as it ever was
>>287409 It's actually supposed to be a "dronesona" of a real person kek Dimebag Darrell from Pantera. And no I haven't actually, this was my first time drawing and posting art there, pretty kewl.
>>287284 >John escapes his life in a bunker surrounded by autistic drone cuties >John now lives in a studio apartment amd works a soulless office job where he wants to kill himself even more
>drone spamton trying to sell J garbage >J only tolerates it because she values his capitalist spirit >Up until he starts talking about it not being for profit but for "freedom" which she sees as nothing but a nebulous concept
>>287439 >V's HDMI port looks like that all the time after Vore GLaDOS got its proverbial hands on her >it's just like her visor's crap eyesight: no matter how many times she regenerates, no matter how many times she respawns in a new body, she'll visibly be as brutally (robot equivalent of) raped as she was before
>>287166 after thorough material analysis, i have concluded this E is not in fact made of tin this is false advertising and i will be seeing you in court
A male sentinel drone started doing that ostrich mating dance after I started working at Sentinel Outpost 34 How do I tell him that I'm married to a murder drone woman and have 5 pill babies without him losing it and killing them all?
Hypothetically, if there were to be a second season of MD, will it still involve Uzi, N, V, etc. since their stories right now look like they've been finished. Would the second season focus on a new set of characters with some cameos from already introduced characters, like J, or would this be better set as a spin-off show set in the MD universe?
>be me >jcj techie >the uniform consists of a vest and a skintight suit >the drones love it >it feels like i'm wearing nothing at all >nothing at all >nothing at all
I figured out where Grimahlnik lives and sucked his brain out with a straw to get all his drawing aptitude. Soon I'll get to Merc, then Phoenix, and then Vicious, and so on until I've taken all the drawfags' skills! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
>>287479 it’s the best, feels good to wear nothing at all, feel the cold air coming on ya… feels like I’m wearing nothing at all, absolutely nothing at all
I shall also crop my singular contribution to the drawpile (I would have done more but I was tired) presented alongside some lovely interactions the other anons deigned to share <3
>>287492 but what if alice didn't die and Asenath Was born around the same time as Akita and Beau also lived and was asenaths older brother and they where all happy just Because why not.
Hey Anon it's your father-in-law here! I just wanted to tell you to keep fucking my daughter! It's clear that she loves you and that she wants your kids! Please ignore Uzi's nagging and just fuck my daughter!
>>287536 >N keeps trying to encourage Anon and Beretta to get frisky and have kids >He also has somehow chained up Uzi's Solverpede form back home as she screams bloody murder how a human is defiling her daughter
>>287537 That was actually flour mixed with performance boosters and viagra! I switched it when Uzi was looking away! You're fine! Now please go fuck my daughter and give her lots of kids! Make my two grandkids the eldest in the house!
>>287560 and having difficulty lifting her up, damn bitch, how heavy is that bod of hers? male!beretta likes a little fat on his lover, so it’s all good
>>287372 The bat-uzi I will draw the other /co/ requests, just that work has me on a grip. But today will be the last day for a while, hate being busy with irl things
>>287525 Alice didn't die but Beau did and Asenath eventually was born around Akita's time, pretty sure that's her timeline I meant Alice is maybe 40 while Uzi's 20 so the offspring would in Alice's case be a generation late, Akita and asenrha are probably close in age But everyone living is best, no one did that ever yet
