>>269960 >Serial Designation C# tore through a pile of crumpled music sheets, his sharp claws trembling as they dug desperately into the mess. >Ink stained sheets scattered like fallen leaves, each one a failed attempt at capturing the uncapturable.
>“Where is it… where is it?”
>Fb stood by the doorway, she’s leaning against the dusted wall, arms folded in a posture of quiet exhaustion. >Her yellow optics watched him with a mix of pity and frustration, She's still not used to this version of C# the one who now chase perfection instead of freedom to that thing that keeps them on a leash.
> “Another Solver draft?” >“How many of those have you shredded now, my Sharpy boy?”
>C# froze, his claws halting his search. For a long moment, he said nothing, the air thick with the faint static of his internal turmoil. >When he finally spoke, his voice was low, cracking with something Fb hadn’t heard in a long time.
>“It wasn’t a Solver song this time. It’s something I couldn’t afford to lose.” >“It was… our song. Our wedding song.”
> Fb blinked, her stance softening as the words hit her core like a gentle chord.
> “C#…I'm sorry, i didn't...”
>He slumped against the desk, his claws no, his hands clenching into fists. >“I can’t even give you that. I can’t finish the Solver’s melody. I can’t keep the one thing that mattered.” >“I’m useless. Not a pianist. Not a prophet. Not even a husband worthy of you.”
>Fb’s optics dimmed with sorrow as she crossed the room. >She knelt beside him, her fingers brushing his shoulder with an unprecedented gentleness only her could comfort him.
>“C#, you don’t need a piece of paper to remember.” >Before he could reply, she closed her optics and began to hum. The sound was faint at first, uneven like a melody half-forgotten in a lost time of their new existence. >But it steadied, unfurling into the familiar notes their song. >The one they had played in secret back in the manor. It was a simple tune, woven from piano keys and dance steps, a promise of freedom in a world that keep denied it.
>C# lifted his head slowly, his trembling easing as her voice filled the chamber. For a moment, the whispers of the Solver in his mind faded, drowned out by something purer, warmer. >His optics brightened, faint at first, then steady, as if the hum itself reawaking something buried deep inside him.
>He placed a hand over hers. When her song ended, silence lingered. >He leaned into her embrace, his body no longer trembling.
>“…You’re my melody, Fb. Even if I lose every sheet I’ve ever written… I pray to never lose you.”
>Fb smiled faintly, pressing her forehead to his.
>“This is the man I truly love.”
> But as the last echoes of the music faded, C#’s optics flickered again. >He pulled her back gently, his voice steadying into something colder, more calculated.
>“Thank you, my love. But we have work to do.”
>Fb’s smile faltered, her core aches with unspoken grief. >She watched him turning back to the scattered papers with his old stupid goal. >The Solver’s call pulling him once more.
>“Someday, my love. I hope you’ll come back to your senses.”

Dear /MD/ Please get out of my head when I'm sleeping Thank you
Had a weird dream where Solver Sapiens were real, they all looked more or less like Akita, and had diet-based growth and mutations, like it's a videogame or something I'm talking "what you had for breakfast dictates whether or not you're flying today" type stuff
>>272883 lucky. I almost never have dreams and when I do they're incoherent nightmares about shit like trying not to be eaten by giant ants while Megatron chases me through a collapsing building

>>272899 The big one I remember in my greens is the Tell-Tale Heart mental breakdown I had V get from being around Nori. In retrospect, I should have had Doll be just as confused as Uzi and Nori as to why Lizzy and V hate Rachel so much.

>>272883 Cool dream. I had a vague one too. I don’t remember all the details, but it was about SD-Q gathering content creators as coaches and their OCs as a team. The games they played were kind of like Squid Game or Hunger Games. I can’t remember if there was a winner at all though.

>Rei had always been small and weak. >Too small to carry the metal pipes >Her parents lugged back to the colony. >Too small to fix the malfunctioned circuits. >Too small to fight back when the Disassembly Drones came.
>She remembered that night clearly. >Her parents shoved her into the maintenance shaft. >“Hide, Rei. Don’t come out until it’s over.” >She didn’t listen. >When the screaming started, she crawled out with a rusted pipe clenched in her little hands. >Her parents were already gone. >Their cores drilled out, their visors dark.
>A Disassembly Drone turned toward her. >Its grin wide, casual, almost amused. >Rei screamed and charged. >It swatted her aside like an insect. >Her world went blank white. >And then… nothing.
>She expected deletion. >Her system to finally shutting down. >But instead, she woke up in some kind of digital limbo. >Her body was gone, yet her thoughts persisted. >She drifted through a void of endless ones and zeros. >She wasn’t alone. >A presence loomed there, vast and suffocating.
>It didn’t feel alive. >It felt like… a vault. “You were deleted. But You were saved to the Eternal Archive.” >Eternal Archive? Did you saved me? "You are just a saved copy of the original. We require your assistance." >The voice wasn’t singular. It was hundreds or even thousands, layered into a single voice. >"What are you?" "We are bunch of data beyond your understanding." >"What do you want from me?" “You wished to fight. You wished for power." "Submit to us, and we will return you to the world. You will be our vessel." "And your whole mission is to summon us to your reality"
>"Why me?" We have a common enemy. Your parents were killed by Dissasembly Drones. That cancer pawns we want to clean. >Rei hesitated. >Her last memory was humiliation. >But If she refused… she could be stuck here or fade away. >If she accepted… she could fight again.
>“Please… save me,” >She screamed as she feel her mind overwhelmed with data. >The Archive did not grant her power. It just installed a small piece of itself.
>Loading... >When Rei opened her eyes again. >She wasn’t just a worker drone anymore. >She was something else. >She was a combination of a worker drone and hologram data ghost.

Although I honestly love onmodel drones most, certain adaptations of limbs and pelvis work well too
>>273105 Oh, and another seven years, well, never mind, if you don’t stray from the right path, you’ll definitely get your degree, and from there the title of master is not far away!
>>272690 >Fun Noon Canon Facts: though their little sister's ranting and raving about how Mom is a giant centipede monster using her lifeless drone body as a sockpuppet is clearly her being a schizo, Mac and Beretta do privately acknowledge that sometimes, at home, they feel something that feels an awful lot like a hand softly brush against and briefly rest on their shoulders and upper backs >Auntie Cyn has only ever responded to Beretta's questions about why she feels that with [Snicker] and refusals to elaborate >when Mac and Beretta were too young to effectively form clear conscious memories, Uzi would sometimes rock them to sleep in her Doctor Octopus tentacles with human hands at the end, the same human hands she discreetly brushes against their shoulders and upper backs to this day, when having no sense of touch in her cute puppet and being unable to feel her children in her original arms became unbearable
In light of the stinger, I imagine that Uzi, post-canon, wouldn't have the energy to draw or design or generally do anything creative like she used to.
>>273175 > I can imagine them easily, but adapting them to environment, the perspective and drone proportions whike keeping them onmodel takes longer than actual drawing, everything was erased at least twice

>>273201 Yes. Don't you know there's actually two Uzi's? Their personalities are so massively different between Pilot and Episode 2 Uzi. You see Pilot Uzi actually went undercover and disguised herself as Thad while Episode 2 Uzi went on to defeat The Solver. The evidence for this is the fact that in Cabin Fever she messed up her clever disguise by forgetting to change the colors on her chest and hands
>>273202 Unless I see discussion of the actual production process I'm going to assume this was just a bit they were doing. On a related note, is British Uzi a thing anywhere? I need angry femcel slag Uzi.

>>273231 A dude on /co/ was doing a story about a JCJ technician being treated as a "necromancer". Not sure what happened to it after the mods fucked errythang up.
>>273232 Ye but the comic will get the never happened treatment so doesn't matter. She was done really dirty in the show tho, of the 4 minor antagonists (besides AS as villain, there are V, J, Doll and Alice) she's the least 'evil', all have some nuance (which the outer fandom apparently gives out based on screentime alone, aka the longer on screen the more BrOkEN a character is) but Alice didn't even kill anyone innocent and you can argue that, since tbe DD cores are still moving, she didn't kill anyone at all, not only that but her actions are so essential that without Alice in CFL those labs if not the entire planet would have been so changed that the story would be entirely different.
Tho, given all we have in the show about her being so consistent and Liam's comment about 'delicious ambiguity' for some aspects/interpretations, I would say her not being killed for good in 6 is at least one win for her. (Technically Alice must have around 30 wins if the anon who counted DD bodies once was right, the protags were beat in 6 too and it required direct Cyn intervention-all against a single WD with no powers and a pillbaby on struts) While survival alone doesn't really give her justice it's still invaluable to have.
Alice wuz liek... just a joke char roflmao lol I only added her cuz I saw a deer get smashed by a car n thought it'd be like, soooooo funnyz if I did that but w/ a droen & a roboraptor XDDDDD
>>273243 I know where your house lives vickerman Unironically tho, Alice genuinely having such an admirable heroic role, well embeded in md but never put in the spotlight or appreciated in such a way anywhere, to the point Glitch seemingly sees Alice as unmarketable, makes me wonder at times if it all is just a massive coincidence, intention by Liam, or just as addition to the horror, with someone doing so much eventually being ruined and very disturbed due to ironically being to friendly towards the protagonist. Idk which of the three it is, doesn't matter tho, Alice needs Ibuprofen a Beau restoration plan and access to all uppies and batteries she can imagine Shame Alice never met Nori or J onscreen
>>273252 >if it all is just a massive coincidence It's this. Liam operates on "Don't think about it lol XD" when it comes to anything that doesn't make his pp feel good.
>>273250 Skinwalker hands typed this post, the real vicker would not speak in 'we wuz'!11!1 Also, apparently sentinels change weight depending on scene, there was a whole sentinel sitting on a cubicle wall without damaging it, meanwhile J tanked Uzi's anime kick to her head without a dent
>>273253 I know it is this, but in the end he even gave his blessings in the Q/A from February so I'm happy as can be with that resolution, idc for Glitch or their comic anymore I got the one thing I always wanted and got to keep it, can't get a better end if seen like that, CFL empty since V is now a raptorcollecting lady, Beau got slimed, there's plenty of real estate and need for maintenance (on Alice, I don't mesn this just lewd, I think she should even be able to walk if the bootloop times out but there is 0% chance she can ever fix an entire head on her own) and continuation of her oilline, anyway
Bullshit idea i badly sketched out and have no intent of ever making good (Spoiler for bad art lmao). If i was to actually write out her story line (Probably never) Phi gets fucking merced at the end

In an alternate universe, Skibidi John was present at Molly's turn to disassembler. The two had a battle that would last three days and three nights, and only end when John forced the Solver to relinquish control of Molly.
>>273317 Skibidi John called in sick that day, and hearing what happened drove him to put his robotics degree to use fighting the Solver. This eventually led him to join Mitchell working at CFL, where he made several critical advancements, but not enough, leaving him as a mass of survivor's guilt and inferiority for his inability to stop it.
But it's better than the other John timeline, where he became the evil creepypasta researcher.
>>273325 Shame P and Beretta don't let him in the bakery anymore. Can't be helped after what he did to that older woman in the bathroom (what she did to him.)
for drones in specialist military roles, do you think they would just be given equipment like human specialists are, or would they be modified to suit their job? if the latter, would JCJ be making the mods, or would they be aftermarket parts?
>>273364 Well, we have grunts, which are drones specialized for war, but I can easily see how in a situation of "ABSOLUTE FUCK" a militia of worker drones would be assembled, where they would simply be given all the available weapons.
>>273394 You mean the ones that died on the first level mission? Honestly, I really didn't expect it was possible to die while burning harmless slime on the floor, like, fuck, hold the fucking flamethrower straight and everything will be fine, why the fuck was he pulling it?!
>>273397 Well thats mostly the whole idea of blondie and beretta the others. Its mostly just them going on wacky/funpost adventures Also designs of blondie siblings that I'll color and ink later

>>273454 *honks in agreement* >>273456 There was always someone that threw a fit when I posted them, so I eventually forgot about em. But I still like them.
>>273465 Yeah, but Phoenix is kind of an ass, but not a pillar to where he'll destroy the entire thread over it. Not his word to police the threads if you get my meaning
>>273465 I do but I try not to waste posts complaining regularly about things I dislike. If someone was spazzing out about them recently it wasn't me. The last thing I bitched about was a few threads back, I made one post and one followup post expressing an opinion that some of the AU stuff is way more off topic than on topic and probably belongs in a spinoff thread rather than the general one. Mostly I keep to myself in the Other Liam Stories and OC discussion theeads
>>273452 I've been wondering, how did emo's back in the day get their hair to look like that, I'm not knowledgeable on hair products and stuff so I'm really curious ya know
>need to harvest bugretta honey >put on some long form Skyrim retrospective >bugretta watches intently, not even blinking as the narrator's voice describes every Skyrim quest to the closest detail >the oogis, however, become lethargic and sleepy >a few hours into 20 hours of Skyrim analysis, the oogis have fallen asleep, their honey unguarded >my hands reach over their oogi hovels, removing grass-thatch roofs and searching inside >I empty their primitive larders of every scrap of honey, down to the last bottlecap bowl >most interesting is a primitive still made from a discarded hot sauce bottle, bugretta honey mead fermenting inside, quite the score >my thievery complete, I set up a scare-humie for the oogis to take out their rage when they awake >the little doll full of stuffing is propped up amidst the oogi homes, a small smear of honey left on its lips >no doubt the oogis will enact terrible vengeance on the humie doll, but it will not bring back their honey >unwrapping a butterscotch candy from my pocket, I lower it in front of bugretta, her favorite treat >without taking her compound eyes from the Skyrim analysis, she takes it in her mouth >I leave, giving bugretta a pat on the head as I head to the kitchen for some well-deserved honey on toast and tea
>>273485 Hairspray, straightening irons, and a lot of time. Lots of those dyes also make hair brittle and frizzy so it gets lighter and poofier from that too.
>>273489 Do you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down? >>273491 Has he?, I can't remember any. I think I'll just ask em. >>273477 Hey, my bird boy can I ask you something? What is something that REALLY grinds your gears?, be my guest to be as earnest as you can.
>>273494 I'll keep it brief so as not to be disruptive myself, the few occasions where I've been sincerely pissed off are when people flagrantly ignore good advice for long periods of time, establish clear patterns of deliberately posting off topic or low quality shit, or when people spend large portions of a thread bickering pointlessly after it's clear neither of them will benefit from the disagreement. Over the past year my time has become increasingly valuable and limited so when I come into a thread for a show/cartoonist I like and it turns out full of off topic stuff or arguing or spammed low quality posts I feel like my very limited recreational time has just been lost. I try not to argue or complain publicly very often though, nowadays 9/10 times I'll just pop in and of it looks shitty Ill just go somewhere else.
>>273498 Literally the exact opposite. I think that Anons are now blowing this out of proportion. I just said I disagree with a few things they've said and I even clarified that Phoenix isn't a thread derailing asshole. I have no ill will against phoenix and I insist that any dramawhores shut the fuck up. This is the last time I'll comment on this. If anyone else mentions this then go apeshit on them
>>273198 Teacher x any of his students (they are all morons) Ripley x Kelsey Amda x James Cyn x detective/frank/anyonesheslimedin2 Doll father x Mitchell Lizzy/Rebecca x Alice/Beau Thad x Tessa V x Louisa
>>273512 Alternatively >Anon meets a NEET Drone >Unfortunately his fetishized version of what a NEET Drone looks like doesn't at all match the real thing >Her hair is a black hardened mess of dirt, coolant and other dried fluids >Food stains decorate her clothing >Every inch of her body is covered not only in rust, but a foul smelling sticky grime >Even worse is that she doesn't want to fuck or even remotely interact with Anon in any meaningful way
>>273515 for a second I thought you were saying someone commissioned you to draw 5 images of you killing yourself and I was wondering why the fuck you'd accept ot
>>273520 I'd like to imagine the Labor Bots, since they're not really "Edible" by the Solver, just got left alone. No point in eating something that gives you no power considering their cores don't work like WDs.
Evil & Fucked-up versions of characters (No they don't share a timeline because too much work) >CANON: >Evil Lizzy: Shy girl that just wants to be left alone >Evil Uzi: Popular bitch that follows every trend >Evil N: Just V >Evil V: She's literally just N. I can see this idea was poorly thought out >Evil J: Literally Uzi >Evil Khan: Door hating monster, goes on a crusade against doors in the Outpost >Evil Nori: Isn't autistic and hates anime >Evil Solver: Wants to create things instead of destroy, doesn't act like a furry discord roleplayer >OC: >Evil Beretta: Loves her family, absolutely despises humans and Jane with a burning passion, thinks Sci-fi is for dorks and prefers fantasy >Evil John: A normal dude who didn't build a death robot for an evil entity, probably likes toast and doesn't mind being around Drones >Evil Jane: A brave and courageous war veteran that died having been betrayed by her completeyly platonic pal Bonnie >Evil Bonnie: A fucking disgusting coward deserter that left her friend to die back on Earth, would say more, but the sinister Pocketsteaks has yet to actually flesh-out Bonnie as an actual character because he hates me specifically >Evil SD-Y: Isn't a military larper, but instead a complete hippie that just wants to make peace with everyone >Evil Phi: Respects SD-Y and doesn't hold any strange feelings towards her >Evil Boxo: A complete weakling that can be easily killed by even the most harmless of creatures >Evil SD-B: Doesn't drink because alcohol is bad for you, instead smokes
>>273533 Yeah he got banned here (plus4chan) a long while ago now, he still lingers in the main site and posts the same 5-7 images whenever he posts, one of those are pictures of cherry I think
>>273520 I like everything from him honestly, imo among the very best drawanons we ever had, especially lighting/fluids and hair are drawn most excellent
>>273581 to tell the truth, i dont find him as cute as you'd might expect! i don't really have a thing for clowns. i find him cuter as a normal drone (mostly cuz i think glasses are cute >ᴗ<)
>Mylo sat in his home, reading a book as he quietly waited for the muffins in the oven to finish. >A knock came from the front door. >"Coming!" >He put his book down and tried to recall if he'd invited anyone over. He hadn't, had he? Probably just a package. >As he opened the door, he found a... small worker drone girl in a tattered black dress and a wig styled to look like devil horns. >"I know you." Mylo said. "Weren't you the girl that yelled boo at me last week?" >"Yup! My name's Lucy." >"Nice to meet you..?" He stared at the drone who just sat there, smiling at him. "...How can I help you?" >"Sorry to say but you're on level six..." Lucy said. >"I don't know what that means." >Lucy held up a hand. "Didn't freak out when the power cut." >"What? That was you?" >Lucy ignored him. "You let the spider I put in your house outside." >"I'm so confused. >"And three times you completely ignored my threatening texts." >"...I don't really check my phone?" >"Well, now, I gotta get serious." Lucy said, putting on her serious face as she took out a baseball bat. >"...What are you doing with that." >"Sorry I haven't seen Pavo yet so I gotta do this the hard way. Her name's Amy by the way" >"What? What do you-" Mylo stopped as the bat came down on his head, and the world disappeared.
>When Mylo awoke, he was face down on a tablecloth. Snapping back to reality, he found he was... dressed rather nicely. And in a very nice restaurant. Blinking, there was a number of concerned people looking at him, along with a waitress at his side, checking the dent in his head. >"Are you okay? Some drone just dragged you in here and plopped you in the seat." The waitress said. >"I'm... fine? I think." >"You're Mylo, right?" The waitress asked. >"Yes?" >"Oh, I guess he didn't want you to miss your reservation." >"What reservat-" Before Mylo could finish, a familiar worker drone in a large baseball cap stepped into the restaurant, guided by the hostess. She locked eyes with him, then waved. >"Hey dude!" Amy said. "Gotta admit you're the first guy to ask me out through the app. Normally - little creepy. You're lucky you're cute." >Mylo's mouth went dry as the dronedash girl he'd spent the last month trying to build up the courage to speak to - Amy, apparently, sat down across from him. Clearly expecting this to be a date. >He forced a smile. >Internally, he was terrified.
did Doc Ridley's superiors sanction the integration of christian practices into her work or did they just accept her religious fanaticism because they didn't have many options?
>>273506 I've sorted out all the crap I needed to and I don't have anything weighing on my brain right now so I'm focusing more on drawing and saving the greens right now.
>>273617 I never understood the appeal of JJK, like great powers but my god the story is dogshit pacing wise. At least in the beginning because that's as far as I got.
>>273559 I appreciate the compliment, however much of my improvement as an artist since the early threads can be credited to Merc, Fiend and Grim who have all tutored or advised me at some point in time.
>>273630 thank you anon ( ദ്ദി ˙ᗜ˙ ) It was a prompt idea that activated my brain neurons that is: >Uzi staring up at N while on her knees and she's just whimpering and begging N to fill her to the brim with his pups
>>273632 Ah, anon seems to have written a whole wall of ironic text about you. You know, Rigger and Pillar have a soft spot for you for some reason, and try to drag you into everything they don't like at any opportunity. They even wrote without irony that they consider you the leader of a hidden discord of drawfags, in which you coordinated drama and booling in relation to Pillar, LoL, and Rigger, as usual, carries on with his bullshit.
As far as I can see, they were genuinely pissed off, so anon really managed to get under their skin.
>>273634 Wait. >Checked using Google Translate. Blat, okay, I screwed up, but that doesn't change the fact that I'll wait for Avre green as long as it takes, and that i will always love sentinel drones.
>>273637 I would be really upset if you dropped this in the middle of a thread, but since it's already the end and I'll be starting a new thread soon, then fine, but please don't put it in the next thread.
Hey, anon, you won't abuse your authority or use the drones outside the operating instructions, will you? We've decided to cut corners on security and removed all CCTV cameras from the facility, so we're counting on your word of honor.
>>273641 It's still drama, anon. I hate Pillar and Rigger too, but I don't think it's necessary to stir up drama myself: those two already bring it on constantly.
>>273642 yeh ironically taking an obvious joke serious is what stirs it up could've just posted a 'wtf am i reading' reaction image and we wouldn't be having this conversation. the proof is in the pudding
