I sometimes wonder how many DroneDash Drones would be working at the same time in a city, Friend. I would hope they get treated well. The angelical(?) I changed the brightness on this and what I found was that the WD to the very left closest to US has a turned on chestlight, how is that possible if they are all dead and Alice stole their hearts?
>>271658 This here, it is dimm but absolutely recognizable. Or is the darker patch below the chest the damage, did Alice go through the tummy instead of the sternum? The world wonders
>>271645 They used to, they don’t anymore, not after what happened, their digital systems long since replaced with auto-psionic cogitation powered by the cloned Andromedan nervous tissue, the Black Star must never burn again, every Relic destroyed, every Black Heart evaporated
>>271650 Hornet, she was always my favorite character but I like her even more after playing this game
>>271642 >>271644 I love it personally, it’s said that people contain worlds within them, this community exists at the razor’s edge of baring one’s soul, the externalization the of those worlds and the collaboration between us leading always to to a sum greater than it’s parts
>>271660 Its cool that people exercise their creativity but if they want to do something completely unrelated to murder drones and completely unrelated to Liam Vickers media they should start their own topic.
>>271651 Just wanted to say that the V/Maid V greentext was cute as fuck and J opening an orphanage that's also a business school made me clap my big crinkly feet like a baby.
>>271662 But it isn’t unrelated, basically every concept on /md/, no matter how outlandish, loops back into the central narrative structure of Murder Drones either directly or indirectly, even the Andromedans, who exist as an elaboration on Dred'fal, who himself exists an a joke character turned semi-serious character occupying an implied narrative for a storyline that doesn’t exist, but it’s a story line for Murder Drones, its “what would N, V & Uzi do if they fighted aliens” it’s silly and out there and cool, and about Murder Drones , just like basically everything on this board
>>271669 No. By that metric you can justify posting anything completely off topic and unrelated to the show and characters with enough "what ifs" and logical stretches. Obviously Blackhand doesn't care or he'd prune this off topic stuff, I'm just wishing into the void that people would exercise the bare minimum of effort to discuss the show in the general thread for the show. I'm not going to throw a tantrum like the banned retard used to and limit my thoughts to just this last post, but if people wonder by a chunk of the old creatives barely hang around or rarely post, or have seemingly lost interest in the thread, this nonstop off topic posting is one among several reasons.
>>271670 it’s just another toy in the narrative toy box if you don’t like it you don’t have to play with it, but no one should be dictating that everyone who does play with it should have to do so in another room
>>271662 >>271673 Agreed. >>271666 >>271669 What is so bad about using a separate thread for this sort of stuff? It would be easier for people interested in it to easily keep track and concentrate their creativity while also preserving the general topic of the main thread. I think that counts as a win for everyone.
I don’t get this andromedan controversy. “what would an entirely separate different civilization do if they were attacked by the Solver” is an interesting question
>>271679 Just because something isn't getting replies doesn't mean it is being ignored. Besides it's still a better alternative than annoying everyone to the point of driving them away.
The reason for the upset in regards to Andromedans I assume is largely astrological. If you aren’t aware, this month has a total lunar eclipse as well as a blood moon, some adverse reactions are perfectly natural and invariably temporary, pro-Dred'fal sentiment should return to baseline soon.
of course the possibility of bad actors is never zero, but I’d wait and see, these types tend to overplay their hand
>>271691 I don't care what you think. I mean it wholeheartedly. The Dred'Fal stuff is actually interesting and engaging, whereas all the mutant posts are inane and mind-numbing.
>>271700 >Haha, what if your bro got force femmed, it wouldn't be gay if you fucked him, haha, don't you wanna fuck your bro, as a joke, for laughs, haha
>>271689 that was my hunch too it’s that “I’M not upset because I’m too cool to be upset but OTHER people are upset so you should be embarrassed and stop posting that thing I don’t like” thing that he does
>>271704 I've never pretended to be above disliking off topic posting. I think it's off topic and I don't like it, not because I think it's inherently bad quality but because I wish there was a slightly higher ratio of murder drones in the murder drones general thread.
>>271708 y'know if it really bothers you there's a neat surefire trick to ensure a higher ratio of drone content in threads, it works 100% of the time.
>>271710 That's not very effective because someone always starts spamming and samefagging mutant posts whenever anyone starts posting on-topic too much.
>valentine realizes that her all-powerful master has somehow neglected to provide her with a means of escape for when the earth is finally picked clean and destroyed >realizing this must be a test of her resourcefulness, she manages to locate and kidnap a rocket scientist >with the labor of her minions, she is able to have a small spacecraft constructed out of an old limousine (she's not going to lower her standards even while fleeing the apocalypse) >she packs up everything she can cram into the ship and escapes earth just before it collapses >a short trip later and she's managed to use her superior instincts (read: dumb luck) to locate (read: stumble upon) a habitable planet >entering its atmosphere, she's pleased to find a parking lot waiting for her >an old battered monorail rattles past her window as she descends, landing with an inelegant thud. >just past a ticket booth manned by the sun-bleached shell of a drone and beneath a large ornate sign that reads "Planet Phantasy™" the pavement gives way to cobbled streets >beyond: a sprawling town plucked from a high fantasy epic– and beyond that: a castle, fit for royalty like herself.
>>271712 > there are anons stalking the thread with mutant-posting at the ready if the thread starts talking too much about the canon i think your tinfoil hat might not be made of tin, but lead
>>271724 Making sure to separate myself from that Anon, the extent of my complaint is two posts. If nobody agrees this stuff is off topic or just doesn't care I'm not going to try and drag on a long debate about it.

so I've got this drone I bought dirt cheap off eBay that I use for testing. don't know how but she keeps ending up with mushrooms, like, growing out of her chest and head. at first it was one or two, but every time I remove them and clean her out, more pop back up in their place after a few days. and lately she's started whispering. I can tell it's not just white noise– there are definitely words in there– but it's all shit I can't make out. this is a blank drone, mind you– no personality software or anything installed. she only talks when I'm doing diagnostics and voice testing– so why the hell is she suddenly doing this? oh and another thing– they glow in the dark, just a little. kinda pretty, in a freaky way. I still wish I could get rid of them, though.
>>271752 It looks like this piece is paired with this B.O.W. looking Thicc N Solver G would be a thing to see, to be desu. >>271761 Is that so, if they want to leave, they're REALLY taking their time. Like, just turn of the computer bro, just close the tab bro.

SD-O >normal DD before a small group of Workers got lucky in shooting him in the head and trying to cut him apart, pure dumb luck >Material Collection triggered instead of O dying, leading to his body killing and consuming the Workers and repairing it wrong >now with a whole new pair of limbs and lengthened body, he struggles to understand what happened and is horrified by his new body >squadmates don't even recognize him, try to kill him when he asks them for help >manages to escape, spends the next few years adjusting to his new body and being separated from squadmates >years pass before meeting la arrow creatura
Arrow Creature (still don't have a name for her) >the one Uzi made in episode 4, now grown up >basically living like a goblin this whole time >can't even speak, mostly animalistic >been living like this for a few decades before meeting O when they're both looting the same building on accident >some sort of spark of kinship seeing their skin being the same (both normal Solver organic matter) >spend a few days living around each other, observing but not interacting >eventually start interacting and living together, bonding over the fact they both can drink oil >he has to teach her how to speak >asks her where she came from, she replies with a crude and vague drawing of a Worker Drone. O doesn't know what this means and it seems she doesn't quite know either >more bonding, years pass >maybe the dynamic turns into something more idk Would be funny to have them meet Uzi and N later down the line. I might shove them into the fic if I can think of what they'd add to the story, if it's worth it
>>271768 Actually... maybe she likes flying through the air? Just her purpose still has some effect on her personality, so being in flight and stabbing things are enjoyable.
>>271765 A name has to work in a narrative too, if the arrow theme is kept, I think she would be straight-up named Arrow. Otherwise, I can see O giving her other names. Maybe they start off with Arrow and graduate to something else when she finds something different she prefers.
>>271763 Very nice! I was lowkey hoping that Arrow was in fact the same 'creature' Uzi spawned in Episode 4. >I might shove them into the fic if I can think of what they'd add to the story, if it's worth it I can see them easily working as a foil to Akita. As for them actually interacting, their introduction could feasibly occur at any point Akita ventures outside Outpost 3, either as a one-off encounter or as part of a larger arc focused on the 'topside' of Copper-9

mylo color tests this is still SUPER up in the air and im not 100% certain on these colors in specific so other anons can play around with them if they want. i really wanted him to have blue eyes and orange-ish hair though ^.^ idk have fun a couple personality notes i thought of: > knows how to play guitar; plays acoustic songs on the show and owns an electric guitar at home. really into system of a down > SUPER nearsighted; always squinting on the show, the station wont let him wear his glasses > didn't think many people watched his show when it was airing, always really surprised when he gets recognized in public
>>271782 I bet he blushes really hard when girls play with his little curly bit of hair. Flicking it. Curling it around their fingers. Straightening it out so it's in his face.
>>271792 dunno about the majority, but there's enough of them that you're almost guaranteed to find a handful any time you go looking for Murder Drones content
>>271778 I was already gearing up for hints that Doorman kid number 3 was in the works but it wasn't going to pan out, so maybe this route would be a fun subversion. There's some stuff between Akita and Uzi that I would need to carefully plan out where on the timeline of future events. Finding out that Arrow exists/is still alive would shake Uzi and Akita's dynamic pretty badly.
>walk into a room >see Kat sitting on Y's fat thighs, the two drones moaning and humming as they sloppily making out >Y's hooked her tail beneath Kat's shirt slowly peeling it off the worker and revealing her hairy French drone pits >try to sneak back out but the door creaks on the way out >the two drones separate with a spittle-soaked pop, their optics staring wide at you as they reach for their swords >"Mon Dieu, ve cannot let him tell others of our forbidden love," >you wave your hands explaining that you have nothing against lesbians >they look at your flatly >you explain that you have nothing against inter-model couples and they should be proud of being so progressive >the two drones look at each other questioningly, then again at you >you explain that even though Y is several decades older, that love is love in any form >Y raises an eyebrow while Kat narrows her eyes, neither ungripping their sword >you throw your hands in the air, "Well what's so forbidden, then?" >"ACH! >>271694 This is normal, by the way, it showed us that there are anons in threads who don't want drama, because I don't see these usual senseless arguments with throwing shit at each other. After all, banning some people is very healthy for threads.
>>271761 >>271764 >>271769 Unironically this gaslit mindset of feeling attacked by anons complaining does not help at all and only motivates people to spite you in turn, if this goes on there will be another thread boogeyman in a few weeks which in turn will generate even more BS by people ritualposting 'X/Y fuck off' like is still being done with pillar and rigger on co and does, if they are actually malicious, only give attention, if they are sincere, it gives them motivation to be malicious, neither is desirable. Let people complain, in the end this is the murder drones board they have a point and should be able to make it without people flipping their shit over it, ignore it if you genuinely believe every single poster of certain opinion is a samefag, this never happened and kneejerk accusations no matter who chimps out only encourage trolling or butthurt spiteposting, which in the end is the thing shitting up threads far more than small contentposts or complaints. If you don't like something ignore it and don't do this braindead everyone is a samefag and X/Y fuck off there were enough posts wasted on bickering you know exactly what it achieved.
>>271791 Extremely based design, and outfit too! Also love that they gave her (one😭) foot, never saw (but didn't look for it anyway) someone combine WD feet with DD legs before, very neat. >>271848 Heh, I'm lucky and I enjoy any content here.
In general, complaining about the "excess" of content you don't like on anonymous imageboard is very stupid, because I noticed that the cool "topic" of the discussion is not constant, and always changes. In one thread we discuss only canonical content, in another we discuss solver war, in the third mutants, and in the fourth we remembered an old character and wrote a ton of hot content about him.
People discuss what they are interested in right now, and that's it, it's simple, if you don't like a hot topic of conversation, then just ignore it and wait until the discussion moves on to another topic, and don't complain. As they say in Russia: "Don't piss against the wind, otherwise you'll pee your pants."

>>271763 Cute duo, here's my moderately drunken & only mildly incoherent attempt at brainworms for them >Arrow and O meet for the first time >Arrow spends most of these first interactions watching/stalking O from a distance, hissing & running from him each time he tries getting close >O, after failing to run off the strange flesh creature with his weapons and false charges, tries to ignore & avoid Arrow as best he can >Arrow eventually learns where O's "nest" is and, given her nomadic scavenging lifestyle, decides to risk raiding it after failing to find 'food' one too many nights in a row >O returns "home" just in time to find his space in the middle of being ransacked by Arrow, with circumstances (toxic death storm?) essentially forcing the duo to ride out an extended period of time together in his enclosed hideout >There is initially a fight over O's 'food' reserve, with the Disassembler coming out on top after briefly incapacitating Arrow (along with explicitly threatening to kill her should she try going for his 'food' again) >O keeps to one corner, Arrow keeps to another; Both struggle against being the first one to fall asleep amidst the tension >Arrow barely manages to stay awake longer than O, allowing the tired, cold & weak Solver Sapien a small chance to do something ... >O wakes out of sleepmode to find that at some point Arrow decided to inexplicably fall asleep next to him, clinging her small form against his fleshy bottom half like a warm body pillow >Fearing that startling Arrow awake would cause more trouble than it's worth, O cautiously avoids disturbing the sleeping Solver Sapien >To his surprise O notices that Arrow did in fact understand & even heed his warning about leaving 'his' food alone, in spite of her audibly growling stomach Would a Disassembler even know what a growling stomach means? >When Arrow eventually wakes up (and after awkwardly scooting back towards her opposing corner from O) she is shocked to find that he actually tosses her some Worker Drone scraps out of pity >Arrow still takes her leave the first chance she gets, although she does return not too long afterwards with a reciprocal gift of freshly hunted 'food' >From there the duo's relatively pragmatic bond slowly but surely strengthens into something much more meaningful
>Dr. Derek Manse reporting, Research Director, GATE Cascade Research Facility. >IS-0606 has given us no end of trouble, but we have finally contained it. >The entity... Business proposal: in the event Uzi loses her nerve and outs herself as being a big centipede woim now, she subsequently uses her Solverpede camera/projector eyes, her infintely long Nth dimensional body, and her hard light holograms indistinguishable from the real thing to let the drones in her mind palace get their lives back.
>>272025 That sounds like a lot of work. It might be easier to just put their souls into fresh cores so that they can in turn be installed into a fresh 'backup' body. Just ignore how this will likely require these Workers to be brought back as either Solver Witches or Disassembly Drones

Anon, you go to church on Sundays and don't do anything naughty with drones, right? Remember, you are the son of God, and he created you for a human woman, not a soulless machines.
Come 15th September It'll be 2 full years since I made my first post here, didn't even watch further than episode 4 or 5 back then, anyway. Hope to get something done for the occasion, pic rel it is, it's far from ready but figure it's got enough things rightified by now for a WIP, the perspective is still chopped as in the porch and Alice (and especially her chair) not aligning too well, but those can be fixed. Background isn't set yet, a treeline or foggy valleys, could be sunset, sunrise or mild rain idk yet, so we'll see. Need the weekend badly and eep (Also figured a saber and 1851 are becoming of her, but need some more things to fill it out)
>>272053 I have an idea for the background, how about a southern bayou with bald cypress trees, Spanish moss etc, a swampy deep south look (picrel just for example)
>>272078 It's short for devour, so you could call it that. I have seen that the more graphic devouring that features tearing someone else apart to be labelled ''hard vore''
>>272059 glad a couple anons like her. didn't have much set in stone about her, but the core idea is: in her youth she was a pilot in the war and an adrenaline junkie. she wasn't really right in the head in the first place, and after a DD tore her fighter out of the sky she lost even more of her mind along with her eye and right leg in the crash. now she's a washed-up gun for hire trying to make a living while still chasing that high
>smoking ribs for the J wife >make them extra sloppy and saucy >she hasn't chowed down on meat and bone so fast since the war >sauce is running down her chin, splattered over every surface of the kitchen >she strips the ribs to the bone in seconds before cracking the bones into pieces and swallowing them as well >J wife rises from the table, sauce dripping from her claws, warning >< emblazoned on her display, and gives me a sloppy, saucy smooch with her big ol' drone tongue >tells me I'm her husband of the month (and forever) and drags me off to the bedroom >like all disassemblers, the horny and hungry feelings are closely linked >when one is satisfied, so must the other >nearly die beneath her fat Jass that night >left dazed and drained in bed as the wife logs my output in excel >as she snuggles against me in bed, she tells me it was my most productive day ever >anything for me J wife
I can't say I really feel too bad about being banned while Ms. Co is going on. I'm still voting but every time I take a look at those threads it's just a bunch of miserable seething and falseflagging. wish Murder Drones had gotten some rep this year, but it'd probably attract as much shitflinging as TADC is

>>271772 After spending some time thinking it over, I think I've come up with a somewhat non-convoluted reason you could use to explain why O initially calls her "Arrow" >Due to the relative restrictions in movement his current body affords him, O initially has trouble with scavenging through the desolated Copper-9 cities >After already being given a free drink to stave off his low oil, O's organic 'friend' decides to also help with his urban "hunting" via guiding him from higher (and otherwise inaccessible) vantage points >Because she's actually pretty good at directing him through the cluttered post-apocalyptic metropolis, O starts mentally (and eventually openly) referring to her as his "Arrow" that reliably points to where he needs to go

You're no botanist, but you're aware that plants don't respond well to too much water and not enough sunlight. Sophie has absolutely lived here longer than you, so maybe asking her would help you figure this out. You ask her how the trees stay so lush without much sunlight as she's feeding the lil' guys, and she just turns around, her visor display reading "Mommy never told me." >Perhaps Harper doesn't know either. Either that or she never bothered to tell Sophie. Oh well. But you have to wonder, what kinds of activities do they do at the base? The Sentinels seem to have pretty differing tastes, and the rec center surely isn't the only thing they're allowed to do considering how basic it can be. Same with walking. Sure, it's absolutely gorgeous, but there's gotta be some kind of sightseeing thing here. You wait until she's done feeding the otters, then ask Sophie if there are any other details or places to go in this area. She perks up a bit and exclaims >"Yeah! There's the stream and the temple!" >Temple? Does she mean like, actual modern-day religious temples? You ask her, to which she says >"There's a big rock building somewhere around here! It has a face on it!" >.... Is she serious? Because that's kinda weird to find on a planet that has such a small population of humans. Maybe there was something before? Even back on Titan, you've always been very interested in books about history. Maybe if you investigate this "Temple" you'll find something worth talking about for the hell of it. You ask Sophie if she has either gone in there or told someone. >"No, because it is scary!" >Yeah, she's 5 years old alright. Maybe if you go into the temple with her, she can face her fears. Before you can make a choice, she says >"I wanna go splash in the stream though!" >You sigh. Sure, what's the worst that could happen? 7/??
