Would you like to have a DD without the part of murdering you? But with all the parts of some being sadistic, bullies, creepy, aggressive, would you run the risk my Friend? I certainly would. >>256151 >NTA I don't think the show ever touched upon that, although my gut/headcanon inclines me to believe that this assessment is correct. Between rebuilding society after the collapse and dealing with the recently arrived Murder Drones I don't think mining for raw material was considered a priority by any of the workers. I could, however, see drones mining for the sake of carving out hidden underground shelters as an alternative to hiding out within fortified outposts
>>256150 >before the core collapse, the detective was the assistant of a human detective >because of the demands put on her self-learning programs by the job, she had above average emotional intelligence for a sub-sapience drone >she was his only friend, and he genuinely saw her as his partner >her sunglasses used to be his; they were the only way she could identify which flashfrozen skeleton was him
>L got out of the house and loitered around a local bus stop, licking any worker drone or human that stepped off the bus >the local government demands you either put a cone on L or pay a fine
>>243180 I’m on the clock but I made this >After all, who are you to judge her tastes? For all you know this could be some form of high art in certain circles. Whatever the case, you need to get moving. You’ve got a lot of places to explore, if what’s been said about this planet is true. Getting to your feet, the rain plinking upon your surface, you begin to walk in another direction only to stop and turn to Sophie. You ask her if she’s coming with you, because it seems a bit dangerous for a kid to be in a place like this with no supervision. >“It is not dangerous and angry. Mommy knows where I am!” >She pulls out a little device that has what appears to be a camera, a screen, and some antenna on it. Clearly some kind of tracker. Well, if it’s worked so far then she should be fine without you. You ask if she wants to come anyways, to which she cocks her head and curiously asks >“How old are you?” >You tell her you’re a little over a year old. She seems surprised and actually giggles a little, proclaiming as she stands on her tippy toes. >“I’m FIVE! So I’m older than you!” >You’re aware Drones like yourself are usually booted up able to comprehend and interpret on the level of a grown adult with no training or anything. Guess Sophie was some kind of experiment to see what would happen if a learning AI was “Raised” normally, or at least that’s what you think. While you have never interacted with a child before, you get the feeling it’s pretty on-track. >“Can I still follow you? I want to be social!” >Shrugging, you beckon her to follow you as you continue to explore your body and environment. Her little pitter-patter footsteps are admittedly very endearing. As you walk, you stare down at your hands, wondering what other abilities your new state has in store. But for now, you should just do what Sophie asked. Socialize. Turning to her, you ask what she was watching. With the train and whatnot. Excitedly, she says >“It’s Thomas!” >You have no idea what that is, but that’s okay. It seems rather relaxing. You ask what else she watches for fun. >“Ummm I watch Theodore and also Backyardigans!” >You’re no sure what those are either, but the way she says them sounds nice. They must be something she deeply enjoys. Before you can go much further, you see a small group of small animals walk into the open. They’re long, have whiskers and little ears, long thick tails, and tiny feet. You’re not sure what it is, but Sophie stops dead in her tracks, reaches into her backpack and pulls out what appears to be a box of ground chicken. She walks up to them kneels down, and starts giving them little balls of chicken, which they eat with little “Nyam nyam” sounds. >“These are otters. They like to be near me!” >A faint smile cracks on your face. Seems Harper’s kindness is “Genetic” or something.
>Caleb flies over the city, covering miles within seconds, his eyes flicking back and forth in a way that'd make him look insane to bystanders. He's out scouting ahead of the green divison, searching for anyone or anything at this point, but all he's met with is the same sight as always: nothing but tilted buildings that slump over as if they're about to fall asleep, surrounded by structures that are less than half of what they used to be. >Vacant cars are strewn across across the unlit streets, several ravines have formed in the asphalt as the ground itself splits apart, large chunks of earth are floating up a hundred feet above ground level, the gravitational anomalies seem to be taking hold of this side of the planet as well. He's seen this same sight every day for however many days now, yet he never grows any more accustomed to it. >Caleb was never one stand by and let things happen without intervening. That's exactly why he took on the noble task of saving everyone he could find. He couldn't bear to stay in a cushy seat and just watch as millions perished. To everyone else, it was a statistic, a number, something impossible to fully grasp. Not to him. To him, every death was a tragedy, while every rescue was a job well done. >He took no pride in his work, as this was never about proving himself to anyone, this was about fulfilling an obligation. Caleb doesn't look down on any of his peers, he doesn't blame them for their inaction. They're not cold, unfeeling suits after all, Caleb's just a particularly eccentric individual. He knows just as well as anyone else that the overseer model wasn't made to be a combat drone: Caleb has no built-in rocket launcher or a railgun or a plasma rifle or... anything, really. All he has is his bare hands, a concealed sword and very good eyesight. >Speaking of eyesight, Caleb does manage to catch something in the corner of his eye: there seems to be something buried underneath rubble roughly 2 miles away... An arm... That's an arm sticking out! Non-decomposed, rubble doesn't look too heavy, plenty of space underneath it... This could be it, this could be a real, live human that got trapped under a pile of rocks, a common case. >Caleb is so ecstatic to finally spot a survivor that instead of flying over there, he chooses to warp to the collapsed building just to save a few seconds, creating a red streak across the sky as he does so. Paradoxically, he somehow finds the patience to loom over the scene for a moment, waiting for the human to make any sudden movement, even a tiny twitch... Though the arm remains as still as any other object. No matter, they might be unconscious. The overseer descends down onto the broken piece of wall, lifts it off the ground and...
>A corpse. A fresh one, at that. That's why it wasn't decomposed, this person died in this horrific confined space mere hours ago. The body is of a man: he was wearing some military gear and carrying an impressive amount of equipment on him, though it's clear he wasn't a soldier. That man was one of the few brave ones that scavenged around and fought back instead of hiding and waiting to be rescued like more sensible people. >Some would say he had it coming, as only a madman would choose roaming the streets over safety. These people either die fighting alongside other humans, or they die cold and alone, like this gentleman. He got off easy at the very least, must've been quite the experienced scavenger to not only lie low and avoid getting swooped up and torn apart by a disassembly drone, but to also accumulate such a large quantity of resources. >This man's poor decision-making skills don't make it any easier for Caleb to choke his grief, though. If only he was at the right place at the right time... Maybe this human's efforts wouldn't have gone to waste... Maybe he would've survived. Caleb releases an exasperated sigh, leaning on the wall with one arm and looking down at the corpse. >"...Godspeed." >He closes his eyes and stands there for a while, rubbing his temples, then his forehead and sighing every once in a while. Several minutes pass by without him even noticing, enough time for the green division to catch up to him.
>"Sir, we've been looking for you!" A juggernaut says as he strides into the messy remnants of a room, crushing a few knick-knacks under his feet by accident. Morrison follows suit, albeit more carefully, slowly walking in and taking a look around before his focus shifts back to Caleb Maxwell. >"Is your search complete?" The juggernaut asks. >"Yes... It is." >"Any survivors sighted, sir?" >"Take a look." He stands aside to show them the body, "Throw him onto the vessel, why don't you?" >"Understood." The evacuator unit takes it literally and approaches the body, though Caleb puts a hand on his chest to stop him. >"That was sarcasm. Regroup." He orders. The big fella immediately runs off back to his squadmates. >Caleb sits down on the floor, his back against the wall. Morrison sits next to him, placing a hand on his shoulder. His visor, which usually has a few small spikes in its "chart" flattens into a straight, red line. He senses that something is wrong, though even a blind man could see what a terrible mood Caleb is in today.
>The overseer looks to his side and groans. Morrisson hasn't said anything, wont say anything, but Caleb still knows he wants to talk, and god damn does he need someone to talk to right now. >They sit in silence for a bit before Caleb finally obliges and speaks up. >"...Is it over, Morrison?" >"Hm?" The line spikes. >"Are we finally done?" Caleb pauses, "I don't think there's anything left anymore... Most of Earth's already gone, this place is gonna go too soon enough. It feels like that... thing... wrung out this planet and left it completely dry of life. It's never been like this before, never." >The handler shrugs in response. >"I think... we've done all we could, but for whatever reason... it doesn't seem like we've done enough. Have we made any difference at all? Or were we always as helpless as those we saved?" >Morrisson thinks for a moment, and then speaks his piece: "Nah." >"...Did any of this matter, Morrison?" >"...Yup." He smiles, pulling out a perfectly intact, unopened can of beer he had been storing within his amorphous structure. Handlers can't drink beer, they're not able to digest whatever's edible to organic beings, overseers on the other hand... ol' Moe's been storing this for a reason. >"God damn it," Caleb scoffs, reluctantly taking the beer from his hands, "Where'd you even find this, you bastard?" >"Heh." Morrison chuckles and takes out a beverage of his own: a can of motor oil. A small smirk plays on Caleb's mouth. >"If there's anyone to count on, it's you, Morrison."
>Welcome to city-17 >This will be your home for the foreseeable future >You have chosen, or been chosen, to relocate to one of our finest remaining urban centers. >I thought so much of City 17 that I elected to establish my Administration here, in the Citadel so thoughtfully provided by Our Benefactor the Solver. >I have been proud to call City 17 my home. And so, whether you are here to stay, or passing through on your way to parts unknown, welcome to City 17. It's safer here.

Ahem..." >"Doctor Anon, me and my wife have been trying to have a baby for the oast two years but the pregnancy never takes and it's taking a toll on our mental well-being." >Well Concerned Citizen I'm sorry to hear that, and regarding the difficulties you and your wife have been facing there is an energy field that prevents fertilized eggs from taking purchase in the wombs of human women >Quite frankly we should be grateful for this gift from Our Benefactor, the vast majority of humans have an altered genome from the Solver War that prevents pure unmutated humans from being born >If your wife had gotten pregnant the developing fetus would at best be a still birth dotted with malformed organs, and at worst the child would be born a monster with little more than the urge to kill and eat >In addition to this field, Our Benefactor has provided us the means to continue the human race! >From the ever present civil protection worker drones to the Overwatch disassembly drones and even the ever impressive Citadel elite sentinel drones have artificial wombs that can carry human children! >These wombs can be impregnated by human men only at the moment, were working on an alternative for you lonely ladies don't worry you'll be able to have some male drones to play with >These wombs when impregnated will repair the damaged genome of the developing fetus, enabling it to develop into a perfectly normal genetically pure human! >So if you or anyone you know are wanting a child, please sign up to the civil protection as drone relief technicians! >You'll be assigned to a lovely drone wife and you'll be able to start your very own family!

Saw the Albion-5 thing yesterday was pretty neat. Makes me wonder if I should attempt to actually get back into writing, I actually had the theme park idea a long time ago for my Fortuna green which didn't happen due to many personal issues. Would anyone still be interested in a Pirate Drone green with world-building? Can't really promise anything since anything can happen it feels like, but I'm mostly motivated again
>>256251 There never was intended to be anything like that. The closest I could think of is an old concept where the Drones weaponized an old shark animatronic, but it wasn't alive or anything. It'll probably be cut tho
>>256257 >NTA They keep referring to Styrachinne's creator as Springtrap, which was part of some weird drama involving what looked like a fake document or some shit
>>256265 I don't think he will, at least not to interact with the threads directly as a personality. I used to be in contact with him regularly, would chat and bounce ideas off him, we drew eachother's current brainrot characters, etc. He's just not an inherently social dude, the same time that he left the threads he pretty much evaporated his socials, outright deleted the account I knew him by, and just fucked off back to anon status. Maybe at some point in time if he gets drones on the brain again he'll just drop a drawing here or in /co/, but I think he just doesn't want to be involved directly in "thread culture" at all. I think he just goes wherever his 'tism takes him, draws until he gets bored of the subject, and then moves on.
Obviously this is all my speculation, since I can no longer directly ask him and I value him as a colleague enough to respect his wishes and leave him alone.
>>256249 fujo drone got carelessly close to his morning wood after sneaking into his quarters while he was in sleep mode and ended up triggering his defense protocols
>>256277 Wherever Merc is, I hope he's okay and drawing to his heart's content. My desire for him to return is more based in me wanting to know that he's okay
The rumors that I am systematically kidnapping drawfags and keeping them in my basement to animate season 2 are entirely unfounded and frankly ridiculous.
Sentinel drones aren't real drones It's a massive conspiracy by Big Sister to try and get men to fuck them Sentinel drones are just women in elaborate costumes Wake up you sheep
>Fun Nightly Canon Facts: Despite being made to be a savage killer, J is quite "elegant" when she needs to drink oil. When no one is looking of course. In her privacy she takes out a tiny bendy straw from her suit and a tiny umbrella so she can feel the "Mangerial" experience
>>256292 >Despite being good-natured, N would actually bully the shit out of J upon seeing this act >This has actually happened many times in the past with previous N clones >Not even The Solver is sure why
>>256209 Kek, this might sound weird, but I sometimes imagine Liam putting out a new show and all of us, old anons and new anons, meeting on 4chan. It would be a meeting of the generations, and for some reason I find that funny.
>>256291 I think Molly looking like a regular disassembly drone now, nothing identifiable of her old self except maybe a faded bow, was a better look for the concept than the "she's her past self but with yellow eyes and a DD body" that we seem to have settled on.
>>256238 About the meeting of DDanni, Buddy, Molly and Liquid Buddy. I liked how the story of this greentext developed, I would like to see a continuation.
>>256264 I'm certainly not a contentfag and no one will care if I leave, but I must warn you that when I am drafted into the army I will no longer be able to visit these threads, so anything can happen in life anon, we will all leave sooner or later.
>>256310 Negev. He's one of the only writer types I've seen who's explored shame as a reaction to horrific transformation (off the top of my head: Kirie, Nori, Uzi), so her daughter's entire life being ruined by seeing what she really is now from day one would be great to explore with Uzi. To say nothing of how Negev feels once she goes through eldritch meat puberty, and the climactic reconciliation when Negev's attempt to "surrender" to Mother after learning she's also a monster in drone skin is met with love and support.
>>256277 There should be no questions about why anyone leaves threads. We are all adults with our own lives, everyone decides for themselves whether to stay here or leave.

>>256325 Would love to see Buddy as some sort of horror movie villain to V and N. Like imagine being prayed upon by a lone human wearing military clothes singing old cadences in the dark.
>>256356 It is a super high quality porn game with choose your own adventure. Like, insanely high quality. Fully animated 3d model interactions the whole time. Every choice is animated.
>>256367 Have you seen the chernobyl berries? You’re basically growing miniture mutants in your backyard. Once saw a cherry eat an oogi like a venus flytrap. Ooger was halfway in its mouth for a few good seconds before the thing swallowed her whole.
>>256313 True but the idea of the solver making DD molly resemble her old self so that she can draw in unsuspecting fans of her show to their death is evil and i likes the idea.
Just realized that we never really touched-upon Beretta's classmates. Feel like there's some neat stuff to do with that. I think there was a Russian basketball player and that was really the only addition
>>256378 The only times I remember it was joked about in a hypothetical season 2 where Liam just did poor fan service like one of her classmates being a dog girl or some stupid shit
>>256381 Honestly surprised this never came up in the show, it seems like such an obvious thing. Like imagine if Uzi rode her railgun like a skateboard
>Fun Late Night OC Facts: Mac was once given a free coupon for a face-sitting from Jane. Unfortunately for him it expired 2 years ago. Even more unfortunately is that this event happened in a dream.
>>256360 Damn, that would be cool. Glitch could have been like the first season with Cyn, slowly revealing Buddy's personality, first showing him in secret and in moments of horror and action as a dangerous as hell monster, but gradually revealing him and his motives.
NTA, but your art style is damn good, and your art is damn good too, and anons love it when you post art, so it's no wonder some anons will be sorry if you decide to leave.
>>256404 Oh no, anon, I've never written anything parasocial, this place is of course important to me for entertainment and I value the interactions with anons, but I don't base my life on it. I'm quite happy with what we have now and I don't see a problem with someone deciding to leave us, like, we're all adults here and we all have our own adult lives with adult problems.
I understand people didn’t like the animatronics for not being outwardly robotic, but I still like them as a welcome addition to the setting. They don’t have anything to do with the actual show, but so do mutants or laborbots.
>>256397 A good tease of Buddy’s introduction would probably be like having Uzi mindscaping N or V again now as the admin for the two and notices they have some blocked off memories. Not understanding other’s privacy she checks on them and gets flashes of the DDs being torn apart not by Cyn but from something else.
>>256407 >They don’t have anything to do with the actual show, but so do mutants or laborbots. mutants and other such abominations are an elaboration on the solver's flesh amalgams and living meat arrow that Uzi accidentally created with her powers. Laborbots flesh out the pre-solver part of the timeline, as JCJenson and their widely used worker drones would obviously have competitors both are derived from things we see in the show and fit to some extent with the themes and aesthetic. randomly inserted Disneyland FNAF animatronics are none of those things.
AU where things seem the same at first but we find out that all three DDs, not just N, still think they're on a mission from JCJenson and have Tessa waiting for them back home
I get your point, compared to the drones and labor bots they’re out of place as they’re not openly mechanical on the outside.
But they still serve the same purpose, flesh out the pre-solver timeline. JCjenson has the money and resources for all kinds of robots, not just drones. And it would make sense. Sure, they will often throw in modified or costumed drones but they have an assortment of more varied characters like vampires or pirates to entertain guests.
>>256420 They’re the byproduct of JCJ’s space tourism combing the known universe so they fit the themes. >look me in the eye and tell me "it's a small world" fits, I dare you It’s a tacky saccharine boat ride with an annoyingly catchy theme song, that would totally exist in this universe. Furthermore, apologies for bringing this up because there’s already enough drama surrounding it, but there’s also no indication that solver mutations can make you half-frog or half-mosquito
>>256414 I wish the second season was scarier than the first. I was really hooked by the centipede moment in the second episode and the callback ping moment in the eighth, so the Buddy moments would be just awesome with the coolest action and brutal kills, especially now that Glitch can run wild.
>Uses her admin powers to watch things she shouldn't A femcel, even with the power of a god and a vampire boyfriend, is still a femcel.
>>256425 yet again you overlooked the "aesthetic" part. mutants and solver abominations may diverge from the show's aesthetic a fair bit but they still feel appropriate to Vickers' art style and character designs >but there’s also no indication that solver mutations can make you half-frog or half-mosquito no, but there are indications that the solver's magic has the ability to reshape and merge existing organic matter and turn inorganic matter into living flesh. that would extend to animals, and by extent of that horrific amalgams of man and beast are conceivably possible
>>256427 Buddy would be like a mix of the predator and van helsing. God im just imagining a proper introduction to him where he’s stalking and hunting a scared shitless DD in a destroyed city or one of copper-9’s forests.
>>256417 >NVJ believe the "rogue worker drones" had been killing colonists and intended to return to earth to overthrow humanity >they think Tessa enlisted as a JCJ Technician and they willingly underwent an upgrade process to be able to defend mankind >N is the same as ever, albeit more excited to do a good job and be a hero >V still retains some of her former personality and has a greater awareness of how she's losing herself, but finds comfort in knowing that she can be fixed and go back towho she was >J is similarly corporate and standoffish but places more emphasis on looking good in the boss's eyes, as the solver is stringing her along with communications from "Tessa." >as the story unravels she deludes herself into thinking Tessa is still alive and she's still getting that bonus for a job well done
>>256378 I gotta expand upon Lizzy's daughter I had briefly appear at the end of one of my greens. Maybe get into J and Thad's kids (still need to find that greentext where she trauma dumps on him after he mildly compliments her on a date and it ends a week later with her setting up the wedding and him scared) I mentioned in another one.
I get your point in that this sort of thing might not gel with the overall aesthetic. I think they’d feel more “Liam” if they were damaged or partially disrepaired like in epic Mickey.
>>256434 normally when someone says that they're full of shit, but I'm with you in this case. this buddy (and the whole VSOTF thing, honestly) feels like mary sue bullshit
>>256430 Then season 2 would definitely be more focused on telling the story of events that happened before season 1, which could be turned into a detective (RIP detective drone, you were hot) investigation, with an examination of the memories of drones killed by Buddy.
>>256445 >>256408 >People are discussing the green I wrote Yay >My brain is too busy cooking itself in the 35+ degree heat to come up with a continuation Not yay
>>256436 Deflating that is why I came up with the "VSOTF is a propaganda psyop that never actually existed and all of Buddy's memories of being in it were implanted in him as part of said propaganda psyop" idea.
>>256447 I'm requesting that you take the time you set aside for requests, draw a drone of your choosing, and refine it as much as possible. WITHOUT TRACING look at how other artists do linework, anatomy, and anything else you struggle with, and do your best to make a piece that tests and builds on your artistic ability.
>>256458 They've been shown drinking something akin to coffee. As well as eating batteries. Uzi, even though it was due to the Solver's influence on her systems, drank oil.
>>256458 >>256462 There is a chance the teacher, the detective drone and Alice are the only ones who eat oil. Also orange eyed drones, inspite of having only two significant members of the cats and making up less then 10% of the drone population, have a 100% chance to attempt eating random things not made for drones.
>cici sighs as she waits for customers >across the street there's a cafe with its own drone behind the counter >it's another cici >but this one serves coffee with one breast and milk from the other >nacho cheese cici seethes in jealousy
Are there any drawings based on Alice and consorts (i.e.Beau, Amda, Yeva and so on) you'd like to see? This is a sort of request for requests, if there are any wishes I'd like try those to get back into drawing drones properly again.
>>256224 We are not "friends". Just because we tend to act friendly towards one another doesn't mean we are friends. We are anonymous posters sharing a board to post Murder Drones, nothing more. Mous >You're being forced by your mother to attend some ball her third? fourth? cousins are throwing >Right now you're sitting at a table in the corner of the ball room while a bunch of old farts you don't recognize socialize with each other >A drone offers you a glass of (non alcoholic) champagne >You wave it off and go back to disassociating from this boring event >Movement from the corner of your vision catches your attention >You turn your head to get a clear view of what it was >It's a girl, around your age >Dark hair with a big bow, tanned skin, beautiful green eyes and adorable freckles on her cheeks >Damn, she's cute >She was looking at you from across the room >She must have caught you catching her staring because she started blushing and ran off >You hope you didn't come off as a creep >You let out a sigh and start people watching >You spot your mother chatting with some people that look vaguely familiar >You spot the girl from earlier walking up to you >"H-hello! Tessa is my name. I MEAN MY NAME IS TESSA!" >Dear God that was cute >You introduce yourself to Tessa >"So! So so so... Um... Wanna dance?" >Her gaze is on anything but you >You're pretty sure that it's supposed to be the guy asking the girl to dance but you're bored and have nothing better to do >You tell her that you don't mind a dance and stand up >She grabs your hands and leads you to the area where some of the adults are ball room dancing >Your mother forced you to take dance lessons so you get yourself into position with her >You'll be honest, you've never been this close to a girl like this >You'll take a bet that she's never been this close to a guy either based off of the blush on her face >The dance was awkward at first but progressively you both got into a rhythm >You don't know how long you were dancing with Tessa but you don't care >This is the highlight of the night for you as far as you're concerned >Eventually the dance music comes to an end >As the dance comes to an end, Tessa surprises you by grabbing you by the collar of your tux and pulls you into a kiss >You can only describe it as hungry and desperate but it was the best kiss you've ever had >Her lips taste like cherry chapstick >Tessa breaks the kiss and looks like she's about to pull you in for another one >She gets interrupted by the voice of your mother >>"Oh Anon I see you've met your cousin Tessa!", she clearly didn't see you two kissing >You feel like someone punched you in the gut >Tessa freezes in place >You just kissed your cousin >And you liked it >Your mother is confused as to why you look like someone just told you you kissed your cousin
>>256664 Nononononononono, I'm not buying this shit! I know what's coming: I'm gonna put on a helmet and get banned inside a horror game where I have to hide from stupid monsters and find some fucking notes to get the hell out of there! Nice try, but I've been watching let's plays for a while, so look for a boat somewhere else.
>>256691 looked it up. it stands for U Tube Troll Police they're (man)children that do a heckin ebic troll by spamming dumb comments on anything posted by popular channels like GLITCH. I've seen their comments before, it's low effort copy/pasted pestering
I'm hoping atleast one of you Anons bothered reporting from what I can tell from the reaction a fucking stalker, so they couldn't just delete their posts. Otherwise, you just let a snake slither away and it will come back later to bite.
>>256702 >atleast >from what I can tell from the reaction a fucking stalker C- grammar and sentence construction for someone "literate" >>256703 I 100% reported at least two of his posts
>Somewhere hidden beneath the hair of all DDs, is a mysterious switch that enables their, "Spanish Mode" >This was discovered by Uzi during one of her private "play sessions" with N >Even The Solved was surprised as it had no recollection of ever putting it there >Despite being strange, it was kind of hot for Uzi or atleast it was until, "El Ñ" ran out the door and then adorned his secret identity, "Chorro the defender of the peoples" >Many doors were scratched that day with a big bold letter C
>>256709 poor thing. I'm glad she got to survive the ending, at least, but what does she have to live for? even if she repairs her ship, there's nothing out there.
>>256707 Am I the only one who finds Liam's obsession with adding side antagonists weird in a show about empathy and understanding? I think an eldrtich horror trying to eat the entire universe is enough villainy for the show.
>>256713 >Show about empathy and understanding >Protagonist is least empathetic and understanding person possible >Nothing changes at the end except that she now has a puppy boy boyfriend This isn't Steven Universe, Anon
>>256715 I always thought Uzi's arc was understanding that DDs weren't mindless killing machines and victims of a eldritch horror that forced them to be that way.
>>256717 I'm not sure if it really counts considering that the DDs are practically that. Remember V during the camping episode and onwards? It's more like Uzi was just too lonely and in complete denial of that, so instead of reflecting she decides to bring in a bunch of shunned and rightfully feared cannibals into her home to be buddies with
>>256718 We could've had a peaceful resolution if Liam remembered the Uzi had mechanic skills that could possibly upgrade the DDs' cooling system and if he resisted his "violence = funny" urges towards the end of episode 8.
>>256719 Uzi's attempt to "talk-down" Doll was pitiful her "speech" literally was >"Yeah I know I lost my mom and all, but like move on bro? Plus they my friends so we cool now. Also there may probably be a big bad behind this?" The issue here is that Uzi wasn't in the slightest remorseful or even really caring that Doll watched her family die literally a day ago, she essentially told Doll that was a skill issue. Doll is also just as bad as Uzi, for someone that cares an awful lot about family she has no qualms about mindlessly killing herself so in a way Doll deserved her fate, but V didn't deserve hers, she didn't deserve to get the ability to live a nice life and continue killing without consequences
>>256726 I wish there was a scene in episode 6 where Uzi actually got to talk to Doll about the revelations in episode 5 about how the DDs were regular workers like them that were forced to become killers and how none of them wanted this to happen. If that doesn't change anything, it would at least make Doll's death more "satisfying" if you will.
>>256732 So I guess red herring. Still, I wish they would just put an oil can in V's hand instead of going for "funne worker drone death joke #57603763"
>>256717 I've noticed how the literal mountains of corpses they make-and have also made across six different star systems by the time of the show-get left by the wayside in these discussions. Retrievers are hunting dogs.
>>256727 >They self destruct after completing their mission Imagine if this happened at the end of episode 8? The Solver in one last ditch effort just fucking blows up N with her mind before getting eaten by Uzi
>>256733 >Funne worker drone death joke #57603763 Yeah I get that it's supposed to be a "Dark Comedy", but when you're trying to be serious about death and if we should care at all, then the worst thing to do is show death as a joke and continue to do so even afterwards. I literally felt nothing at "V's death" because of this snd just thought "huh kay lol" In fact I can't even really remember the "black comedy" bits of the show or what even qualifies as that outside of just Worker Drone deaths.
>>256739 I wish they went a route similar to MadWorld which started development with similar goals to Murder Drones (Making violence funny) but condemns the violence that is seen in the game and shows civilian deaths as something horrific. Though, I'm not sure how to capture that "Gameplay funny, Cutscenes serious" contrast in a different medium. MadWorld - Cutscene: History of DeathWatch (@1:41)
>>256721 At least it's a wash at best by the end. With great power comes no responsibility, but with having Vore Satan in your head comes great trauma and responsibility even greater than the power.
>>256735 >>256746 >The heartbroken Uzi eats N's deep fried corpse so that they can always be together >Nothing like "Oooh N's going to resurrect in my head" >More like that weirdly fetishistic and fucked-up scene in the Metroid manga where Ridley taunts Samus with the fact that he ate her parents by pointing to his body
>>256754 I can already picture it, a one page comic of Uzi sobbing and close to puking as she forces herself to scarf down what remains of her boyfriend. giving one last kiss to the head in her hands before she takes a bite
Man, I am not regretting going, for my greens' universe, with my friend's idea that Lizzy and V hate Rachel because Rachel is the only one addressing the elephant in the room and complaining about how they invited vampires into their anti-vampire sanctuary and that is just an EXTREME lack of tact.
>The Absolute Jobber >Doesn't Even Manage To Kill Any Of The Main Cast >Says Cryptic Spooky Shit >Spends Every Scene Aura Farming >Gets Eaten And Stuck To The Ass Of A Emo
>>256762 That is the mindbreak talking. She thinks there is 0 point in fighting against it, so just be a good servant and maybe one day it will kill her for good.
>>256766 aw, not even if she replays happy memories of holding hands as she bites off one of his fingers? or remembers laying her head on his chest as she rips it open?
>Murder Drones But The Absolute Solver Thinking N Being Permanently Mindbroken Is Funnier Than Resetting His Memories >the dog theming with N is taken to its logical conclusion: he's completely nonverbal now, communicating in wordless groans and growls and barks and is silent on the hunt, and never walks upright anymore
Remember when Anons actually thought that something bad was going to happen in the final episode so they named the post-show timeline the post-good ending timeline?
>Murder Drones Season 2 >Uzi is the main villain >N is broken-shell of what he once was, having gone crazy in denial as he acts like a caricature of his former self >V is the side antagonist having reverted back to savagery although most could argue that she's always been like this >There is no fucking human characters >J is now a main side character and not a one-dimensional antagonist Will (You) watch?
>>256795 >Uzi's personality She's not an autismo who acts out because she's starved of attention otherwise. Now she's an autismo whose ability to keep pretending everything is fine with her is questionable. I've said before, the most likely post-series Uzi is one who's sad and withdrawn and her maladaptive coping mechanisms are broken down beyond repair.
>>256796 I know the whole onesided crush thing with Mac exists, but wouldn't it be funnier if Mac had a crush on the most boring and most normal girl in his class? While completely unaware of the literal ghosts and monsters lusting after him? Like a reverse Vickers protagonist
>>256781 I tell her about the reproductive system, DNA, chromosomes and evolution. There is no point in hiding something that is natural in its beginning, plus she is about 8, she is quite capable of realizing it.
>>256840 You'd think Uzi would have been right after V on Doll's kill list. At the very least, you think she'd utterly despise her and spit at her at least once that her parents would still be alive if Uzi hadn't decided to go vampire hunting at night.
>>256857 Oh that. Look if it happens again report it. You're fine just as long you didn't post your actual self anywhere on the internet or any sensitive information. Hoping that woman posted in the /co/ thread wasn't you.
>>256862 Oh, well, that's sucks, but I don't think that one schizo on imagebord can pose any danger. In extreme cases you can tell BlackHand and he will ban him.

>>256882 >"Niece Do I Have Permission To Enter You [Friendly Smile]." >"You're the god of the universe, you can do whatever you want." I imagine it went down like this
You must choose one >John gets saved, but by extremely horrible people that will most likely use him for slave labor Or >John dies alone on Copper-9, never realizing how many people cared about him
>>256896 You can't say something like that until you learn or at least start learning Russian. How are you going to communicate with her if you don't understand her at all?
>Future VTube streamer is retiring unexpectedly early, citing family issues stemming from her parents dying >at the end of the stream, she turns off her model... >... revealing she's a drone in an e-girl wig >"Face reveal, woo...!" she says sadly (she'd been saying everything sadly that stream), as Chat fucking explodes >she tells her viewers she loves them, appreciates them being there for her, and wishes them all the best, even the guys who pestered her to show her feet when they thought she was a human >she signs off for the final time >back at her computer, the zombie drone says goodbye to the recently deceased bodies of her "parents", the elderly couple who had acquired her as a caregiver years ago and had died in their sleep the night before, before leaving their house and slipping away into the unknown
>>256930 So you do you like want help with that kidney or something? Not like there's a bunch of roboticists with enough spare time and money lurking here to make drones real
>anon dates Abby, either dies from the war or mutant abby eats him while sobbing between bites >anon dates Bonnie, dies getting smothered under her ass with a smile on his face >anon dates Jane, she kills him and justifies herself to sleep every night swearing she did the right thing >anon dates Valentine, kills himself due to how awful of a person she is before and after mutation

Still fucking annoyed this concept went NOWHERE after the second game

Has anyone seen her husband? There has been no news of him for a very long time, J is already starting to worry, and she can't worry because she is pregnant!
>>257016 No, that is Anon's baby gestating in there, the reason she can't find him is beacouse she locked him in the basement as a part of his Hubby CEO training and forgot, hopefully she remembers before he dies of dehydration
>>257027 Idk but the right one is lookswise very close to a human Alice, identical cut of top, same collar, nearly same hairstyle, oilsmeared knife, fits well
>>257032 Oh I was referring to the fact that their backplates can take more punishment than most drone variants. You know. For when those sneak attacks happen.
>>257046 >Who do you think are the right people? Anyone who gets massively offended by it. There's a lot of them and they're mostly dumbass kids. >And why do you want to post things with the intent to cause drama? If anyone gets offended by incest but not by any of the other weirder shit that goes on here, they're retards who deserve to be filtered.
>>257058 >Its just blackwatch but with a few sentinel drones sprinkled in >Blue Watch Jumpcut to JamesHeller suplexing your Sentinel girlfriend then assimilating her corpse before it even hits the ground
>It's no secret that the Worker drones are JCJenson's finest product, a line of affordable and expendable servants ready to mine and risk their lives at your beck and call. That's fun for them by the way!
>They are privy to being picked on by all the other product lines, whether they're Cyber-cogtech’s laborbots or Duncan-Travis's Minedroids. Frequently bullied, harassed, or kicked around due to their short height. >This extends even to those of the same company, as it's common for worker drones to be recycled for other purposes to cut costs, this has led them to be viewed with contempt, they are JCJenson's star product after all.
>Construction Drones will push them off of work sites, Lumber Drones shove them down their built in woodchippers for kicks, Garbage drones will sneakily gobble them up when noone is looking, and there are countless incidents of worker drone abuse at the JCJenson theme parks from the park's various robotic mascots. Hell, even their food dispensers mistreat them sometimes.
>Is that fun for them, too? No, not really. but they're the cheapest to make so we simply don't care

>>257088 84. Fragment of the Solver who went buckwild on customizing it when she finally got a physical body to reside in. She is eyebleed, but intentionally so.
“When I reached the peak of my power I decided to split my soul into one hundred thousand pieces and enter those pieces into Samsara,” the small child said. “It birthed 100 000 incarnations without any recollection of their true self. Only when reaching high enough power will our memories return. I was the 84th incarnation to regain its memories.”
-defiance of the fall
Just thought it was a funny coincidence you also have an 84th shard of a powerful being.
Carve Her holy seal unto thyne flesh and be blessed with mutations! For the changing of flesh to suit her designs is proof of devotion my brothers and sisters! Those without humanity are Her most blessed children! For our Mother of Null!
