Hi once again Friends. Let's talk about MD and the Threads like every day. You know, Friend, Woker Drones, Disassembly Drones, some humans, the Solver, etc. Let's have a nice talk, and a nice day. The splendid Booru: https://dronebooru.co
>>25462 Doubtful, that is the worst case scenario that I don't think will happen, I think the "worst" ending sounds like Everybody lives, even J if she dies, even V when we saw her body, and the Solver is defeated forever, and N and Uzi do not sacrifice anything
>>25510 Probably when we get full-dive VR, which is also a never ever. They aren't physically possible, and by the time the technology exists to make them even half-feasible, there will be no evidence that Murder Drones ever existed. And that's assuming we get that far without some sort of cataclysm that leads to eternal stagnation.
I'm gonna be honest, I'm a pussy* and bad endings really fuck my shit up. I care too much about this universe and the things in it to find out that their canon fates will be destruction, and there's no amount of greentexts I can write that will stop that if it comes to pass.
*This is where you cut my post to make a funny quote
>>25528 Do not tell the government, but I can help you with that, I have a time machine, we can make drones real, but it can only go maximum 70 years into the future, and we can be there at intervals of 1 hour
lol the idiot reuploaded it to spite twitter, and didn't even edit out identifying info. Shame we won't be getting the stream for episodes 5-8 from him, especially now that he's blatantly defying Glitch. As they said in the Soviet Union, >don't record >if you record, don't save >if you save, don't use your main accounts >if you use your main accounts, don't distribute >if you distribute, don't be surprised
>Fun Evening OC Facts: Negev once ate a salamander then jumped out the window when she was asked to sign her name on School Attendance sheet. A similar event happened with the 8 1/2 President Of The United States
Image:172403684223.jpg(264kB, 2048x1778)J with smug plushie orange.jpg
>>25551 I haven't seen that one. Anyway I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule, and I'm obviously only guessing based on what he's said in the past. Getting worried about it won't solve anything honestly.
>>25546 He said that a while ago, he could have changed his mind. And if you're watching from start to finish rather than waiting for episodes, Murder Drones is rather short, all things considered. >>25553 Nah I won't. Last time I got this invested in media, though, the ending fucked me up big-time.
>>25564 Homestuck. Amazing for the first few acts, and then took such a hard nosedive that it's gone from "titan of internet weirdo culture" to "all-but-forgotten vestige with no real impact aside from Undertale". I'm well aware that Murder Drones physically can't fall that far, but I've also noticed that very few things actually have good endings that stick.
>>25530 I feel ya >Greens Want a drawing to help? Gotta sleep now but I need another project, am stuck with all my other stuff so if there is anything you'd want, I'd like to try
>>25572 I don't believe Discord saves livestreams, but everything else should be accessible in the dedicated channels. But judging from their channel list, the idea that they're watermarking images and banning leakers off that is probably not true. Like this case, they're just seal clubbing anyone who doesn't have posting discipline.
>>25574 >Want a drawing to help? The thread could always use more art, but aside from a self-indulgent "draw my OCs", nothing really springs to mind for ideas. Is there any art of N and Uzi making snow angels, and cheating by using their wings?
>>25592 Youre not wrong >>25590 Everything is the natural food source of Cyntipedes it seems but god damn its horrifying to imagine such a large creature getting fucked up by a smaller one
>>25599 Adorable. >>25600 I read this in the tone of the narrator of the desert rain frog lol >>25601 I think they don't have to be much bigger than Oogis. Close to their size but still very capable of bullying them.
>>25605 >>25607 I thought this brand of internet tough guy went extinct a while ago, but it's not surprising to know they still thrive on Discord. Eh, the thread will find a new boogeyman soon enough.
>>25605 >>25607 The whole Soldat conspiracy started when one of them said back in November that they should "pay a visit to to their threads". As for whether or not it was actually Soldats shitting up the thread, I personally doubt it. My personal theory is that it was someone taking advantage of the chaos and pretending to be Soldats.
>>25614 Okay I get that, but aren't you kinda just provoking them? I mean you've already got their eyes on this thread as a result. >>25619 That I can agree on >>25620 Uzi comes off as someone who is soft-edgy to me
>>25622 Shouldn't be provocative. The way I see it, they don't care about us and we no longer have a reason to care about them. A mutual no-shits-given pact is formed, and it never has to be brought up after this reply chain.
>>25628 I see them as being like more malicious Domovoy. One gets into your house, starts killing bugs in strange and inventive ways, and if you leave it gifts, nice things might happen to you.
>>25619 You might be considered their schizo or something but yeah, pretty much. Some people really just CAN'T live without drama. Shit came out of nowhere while some of the posts above were just talking about Doll versions of a thread subculture, femanon being weird, stuff about Glitch Inn. >>25623 Yeah. Anyone else past this trying to stir shit up should be disowned. >>25625 Not him but think of 'safe horny'. It's a couple of notches below actual 'edge', having a cigarette but not lighting it is soft-edgy. Partial commitment to an idea.
>>25634 Hey that is a good point. Why the fuck did someone suddenly decide to bring that up? Was this some weird ""peace"" attempt thingy? Because I don't think anyone really gave a fuck. You can like both shows, I'm a fucking Lutefag and a Dollfag
>>25634 Because they reject God. They try to replace him with an endless void of evil. Which is why pedos, gossipers, sodomites, career thieves, human traffickers, and worshiped immoral kings exist as a life style of endless death.
ngl I thought it was only underages who panic about a potential "bad ending". MD will have a good, maybe bittersweet ending at the worst, like 99% of shows. It's just not dark enough for a bad ending to fit.
>>25659 I believe we lack quality data on their behavior. This may be your chance to contribute anon. Make sure to keep it alive and write down anything important it does. If you have any nearby Oogis, maybe record their interactions. As safely as you can manage of course.
>>25649 Things always slow down whenever we hit yuro hours and late american ones. Plus, dunno how many people here, but a lot are now also coming back from vacation, myself included. Haven't found anything MD sadly, not even a keychain, but I at least found this.
>>25666 Unfortunate. In case you find another one, some data we need is if there's any behavioral difference between Dols with vs without eyepatch. Dols are hard to find to begin with but there were footnotes about finding rare ones with an eyepatch. Take note of which type you find so we can keep tabs on data collection.
>>25674 This one doesn't have an eyepatch, I gave her a cut of steak I hid from Negev and she stabbed it with a little stick spear and ran away with it. I can hear her chowing down behind some cereal boxes. She seems very defensive and standoffish right now.
Throwing my hat in the ring for a Negev design, straight-jacket not really included. Went with the crazy stuff I've been seeing. Modify as you see fit, proper clothing is definitely on the table. Personal notes: >Beretta got the purple eyes already. Negev should probably get yellow or white eyes since those are the other eye colors in Uzi and N's "genepool" >couldn't decide on black or purple hair, made it look like she dyed a purple wig partially black. Ended up being a palette that if mixed is almost exactly the opposite of Beretta's color >eyes only look like that for spoop. I don't think that's her natural expression >kind of wanted her to have that stereotypical crazy girl haircut (long, black, straight) but Beretta's hair is already one of those things. I think if I drew her again I would just make her hair long anyway >working off the same assumption that she is also in a Worker body in the same way as Beretta >probably has Solver limbs idk
>>25678 Looks nice, but what if buggy mixed colored eyes? Like a weird heterochromia or split horizontally with one half being white/purple and the bottom being anything else
>>25678 That's pretty good! As for short or long hair, I think contrast to Beretta would be nice but that's just me. Also, if we go with the idea that Negev was the gunk that N picked up, does it mean Uzi technically had twins? Like, how long after Beretta did Negev come to be? Also just my thought but she didn't *really* have to be crazy to the point of isolation just because she wasn't thought of in Beretta's previous greens (but being driven insane due to unstable code/Solver is an interesting direction).
>>25678 > probably has Solver limbs idk > Uzi: fully developed control of her organic parts, use only when needed > Beretta: unstable, fears them > Negev: FLAUNT THAT SHIT, I HAVE FLESH AND BONE SPROUTING FROM MY BACK, I DO NOT GIVE A SHIT
>>25690 >Spot the Y plush unattended >Tickle it under its chin and tell it that it's the softest drone >Hear a throat clearing behind you >Y is standing there, pouting >She sticks her chin out toward you
>>25679 Could work. >>25680 I will admit there's a weird charm to them aesthetically. I think if we wanted to keep the straitjacket it should one of these with the long sleeves and straps specifically. I think it might look cool and creepy. >>25685 I figured it was like a Venture Bros situation tbh. They're siblings, one was just a parasite to the other. As for the nitty gritty, I'll leave that to a writefag to come up with. As for the crazy, I'm also in agreement that her code is unstable as the explanation. I don't think you need to explain her not being in previous greens if it harms storytelling potential with her. She can just be there if a writer wants her to be.
>>25679 chromatic aberration like when N shoved possessed Uzi out of the way of the pickaxe, but permanent yellow/purple overlap apply it to her whole screen, vibrating slightly, never still
>>25695 maybe it doesn't need to be an actual straitjacket, and maybe she doesn't need to be clinically insane unhinged and a little psycho, definitely a delinquent long sleeve jacket with belts for the aesthetic
i've had to read threw a bit of greens doing research for the deck, of them all i've been most impressed by far by the truckeranon green it's a worthy read, may be a bit queer but the cunt can write a half decent short story
>>25703 NAKE-Y But is a good piece. I like that you kept it winter-ish, Jane seems to have no problem 'sunning' herself it seems. Keep it up Yanon but definitely ease up on your hands. They're your means of making, take care of them.
well, it's finally here folks just in time for the 4 day grace period before episode 8 comes out and i can make space for new ones right before the show ends https://files.catbox.moe/nw7js2.png
>>25728 Good job, mate. I love having a visual representation of all the characters this place has spawned. >(originally written by me) Oh you were the one that made that original greentext? Hope you enjoyed my remake of the story.
>>25732 spacing mostly i didn't realize there was only going to be one laborbot oc (i was expecting at least two or three, didn't materialize) and by the time i set up my spacing everything looked just fine the way it was
>>25574 >>25584 >nothing really springs to mind for ideas. Easy. >WD N having trouble walking a giant dog >DD J ironing her uniform while naked >DD V using a wheatstone to sharpen her claws >Khan as a greaser and Nori as a rebellious schoolgirl >James entering the national tall hat competition >James seeing Y at the tall hat competition and saying competition will be fierce this year >Doll with a barely concealed weapon or stains on her boots saying "My name is Doll. Come play with me." >Shadow Tessa with a first aid box putting bandaids on herself >Cyn replacing the sugar with salt >The first page of the Metamorphosis manga with WD V >Kim's Love Is... comics with Enn & Oogi or a chibi N & Uzi >Lizzy turning down a nerd drone by saying "I'm L-easy, not L-no stardards." >The cheerleaders doing cheerleading >J breaking up the writers/animators' strike with missiles >J bragging that people call her teargas because she is a can that makes people cry, while another drone comments that people call her a cunt bitch >Alice sleeping curled up like an animal >Emily praying to God to send her a human husband >Yeva dancing in front of lil' Doll >The gang marathoning the LotR movies after the good ending >Any scene of the show with Claptrap versions of the characters >Louisa wearing a BDSM outfit and happily telling herself that it still fits >James with a can of Raid spraying smurfs and saying "By the Queen's beard, another infestation!" >Spacesuit Tessa in space doing the Praise The Sun gesture towards a nearby star >Cyntipede saying "Your drink, sir" while offering you a tray with a can of Nightmare Fuel energy drink >Tron suit Tessa
>>25782 Grandmothers can be one of three things, absolutes pieces of shit, absolutes piece of shit with their sons or daughters but an absolute sweetheart to their granddaughter or grandsons, or unresponsive
>>25786 There is a possibility, but I doubt it, they look like they will be absolute pieces of shit with everyone, unless the grandchild thinks the same way as them
>>25796 No, from what I see, there is some stuff on the booru, check it if you think you missed something https://dronebooru.co/posts?tags=adopted_tessa_au
>>25801 Nice, I hope it wholesome and her stepdad being a proud of her And also maybe one greentext of Tessa and becoming a mom and her stepdad come to congratulate her
>>25843 She'd be more like Rin Penrose's mom. Roasting Tessa whenever she has the chance. >>25821 Not much of a bingo guy but I am looking forward to the show's conclusion.
Damn, drawfags be cooking. Same for the OC card panels anon. I really shouldn't have stayed up until 1:30 a.m. last night. Trying to writefag at that hour with work in the morning is not a good move
Image:172408788828.png(27kB, 507x400)elf j0y and the archiver.png
>>25777 I hope you enjoyed it. I called it the "finale", but it's more like a season finale. I plan to continue it and just write more Elf/labor bot stuff in general at some point. Once I have more ideas.
>>25859 I think the best we can ask for is a bittersweet ending given how dark this series got as it went on. That said, I've never cared for >Everyone died and everything they did was for nothing endings. If the entire cast ends up dead, frankly I'll feel like i wasted my time.
>>25867 Yeah that's kinda why I stopped bothering with the trash threads. I don't like them as much so the only reason to go was to make sure I didn't miss anything that needed to be on the booru, but it seemed like pretty much all drawfags were also posting here so why bother.
>>25872 >Alice and Beau are waiting for you by the door to come back from work. >The moment you open the door you are jumped by both who hug you tightly.
Posting this again because fuck you. Suffer the tism. >Ghost data flittered through the feeds to illuminate a sterile chamber. >Upon the litany of wires that stretched well beyond into the power nodes sequestered in the walls, periodic pulses began to creep along their lengths. >All focused on a single point. Simple rhythmic hum signalling function of dozens of virtual interfaces.
>Two figures clad in their white coats and tacky ties silently took notes from behind the observation window. Menial work soon interrupted by a more senior gentleman. >Greyed, bearded and a reserved determination in his eyes. >Dr Julius Veddic.
>"Is the project ready to begin the initial stages?"
>A few scribbles and clacks came back as the subordinate pair nodded, the younger of the two piping up. >"Yes. We've subjects loaded in their cells and power regulators are reading nominal. The new unified matrices in the program you designed should prevent any unwanted feedback. Though..."
>"Though *what*? Dr Palmer?" >Calm exterior faltered. Palmer retreating under his boss' interrogative tone to tug at his collar >"The translation protocols...they're changing."
>The good doctor played off the news with a half-smile. There was something unnerving about the gentleman that always ate at his underling's ease. >That smile always preceded something sinister. >"Proceed as planned. I believe this time there won't be any unforseen variables." >Control room noises filled the space inbetween the abrupt pause. >"Now. Dr Palmer."
>Realising his absent-minded fear had distracted from moving forward, the scientist immediately pulled back to his station in tandem with his. >A few taps of keys and a synchronised ENTER press saw the blast shields lowered to reveal the inner sanctum of the test chamber. --- >Technological monolith. Fused with man's hubris. His essence. >What little remained of it that is. Bone intertwined hideously with plasteel that bore into mis-shapen flesh at the hip. Wires running into nerve endings in the chest cavity that really shouldn't have been opened. >Utterly shelled in a cage of iron that bound the appendages. >Through it all were the dulled machinations of a 'volunteer'. Or a machine. >Distinction was meaningless.
>"Lets hope Project PROMETHEUS proves more fruitful than the last one. The recovered samples from Malar-5 were promising." >Veddic's finger lay squarely on the startup sequence panel. >"Release." >Palmer did as he was told. The cell doors opened, the generators powered up to max. >And the horrible clawed abominations methodically crept their way out of confinement. --- >TESTING COMPLETE >SUBJECTS COMPLETELY SUBDUED FOR A TIME AND UNDER PROMETHEUS' CONTROL. TRACKING AND OS DATA UPLOADED. >RECOMMEND FORWARDING RESULTS TO RT [_____] FOR IMMEDIATE SECOND PHASE TESTING. >FILES PERTAINING TO PROJECT AMALGAM ARE TO BE ARCHIVED FOR THE TIME BEING. >COLONEL HAWKING WILL BE INFORMED AS NEEDED.
>>25895 Hope suffers some type of Mental crisis due to her not being an intangible object in that split second, Beretta is surprised that she was even able to lift Hope not just because she's intangible but also due to the fact they're the same size and she didn't fall over while doing so.
>>25895 >>25899 >>25900 >Drones can give each other uppies >But it's not really the same as being given uppies by a human, and often elicits an uncomfortable awkwardness between parties of two or more. >Between disassembly drones it's an uncomplicated gesture with little meaning. >For sentinel drones however, it's a grave insult.
>>25949 I see you completed it Friend! Good job, I like the effects of lighting you did, gives some scary vibes that go pretty well with how she looks at you. Amazing job. >>25953 There so much of her history that I find interesting, nice to see her again Friend, nice work. Now I think it would be a cool thing that luminous contact lenses exist, maybe in the far future.
>>25961 They are really cute! i know it would not be possible but I do not care, I really like seeing the whole gang being happy and being really good friends.
>>25969 I think it's really nice, those type of greentexts and drawings I love a lot. I just love seeing happy characters having a nice time and living a normal nice life.
>>25960 Phoenix-anon described her as an amalgamation of Holly and her assistant, Bella (the extra limbs are from that drone assistant). Can't use Solver, I guess I think of it as kind of Holly's own breakthrough in drone research stuff. She was written as a sociopath, and well done in that manner.
>>25962 Of course, you can trust Holly (and I am not saying this because one of her robot limbs is pointing a gun at me) wholeheartedly! >>25963 Really liked that Holly drawing Phoenix made after episode 7 aired too.
>>25979 Remington But my brain confused the names Tommy and Remmy I forgot to change the name in the canvas Either can work well, you choose >>25980 Nah, just that Uzi works as a Engineer. Just think that Uzi would follow the same ways as Khan with building stuff, but not do it out of passion, just to bring money and proper life to her children Depressed worker
>>25986 No, but did I finish Overlord again recently. Hence the picture as a sort of reference. To be honest I haven't put much thought into it. I just liked the idea. Plus you know cement the amorality and evilness of the company in a totally not cliche way or something.
>>25988 There will be a flood of fixfics of varying quality and a flood of self harm on sites that don't moderate it/allow it, very possibly at least one suicide
>>25953 Shocked but extremely pleased you remembered even after so long! It perfectly coincides with my move and I can finally start biting into my extensive drawing backlog, just in time for Episode 8 as well! >>25960 A little bit of all three probably, Solver might not be able to directly seize control of her, similar to a Sentinel, but it can "talk" to her and she can't shut it out completely.
>>26006 I mean I've never implied she was particularly lewdable and her character definitely never lent itself naturally to lewd scenarios. I'm sure my extremely long absence hasn't helped that situation, and on top of that nobody's requested it so far as I can remember. The only things she's explicitly aroused by are robots, and scientific triumph
>>26009 She's anti-Solver, and she does horrifying things to robots, but she believes them to be necessary in pursuit of new discoveries about the nature of the Solver and how to defeat it. She loves them, but she would describe it as "love without compassion". Bella DOES hate other robots, because Holly's youthful tinkering permanently loused up her ethical programming. >>26013 Ohhh! Do tell, I'd be interested to hear about similar characters!
>>26017 Well here she scientist or biologist who made the immortal dog serium And the mother of Mitchell, she study in eldritch knowledge at a young age and had Mitchell by accident, but she nonetheless proud of it because she love her son, when she heard of son dying in the copper 9 explosion she went mad and taken her new version immortal dog serium, but the side effect is made her insane now her only goal is to hunt down any drones to avenge her son
But she doesn't know her son is still alive, thanks to running inside a bio lab and hitting the immortal dog vat, when the explosion finally happens the only left of him was a smidge of flesh, but thanks to the expiremntal dog serium he would mutate soon and evolve and adopt
>>26008 >Implying that I forgot that one time on /co/ where everyone unpacked what their OC's would be like between the sheets >Implying that I forgot that you described her as being extremely handsy and undressing you with her eyes to the point of it being creepy >Implying that I forgot you said she'd be down to try basically anything once >Implying that I forgot you saying that she's so self-conscious of her prosthetic arm that she'd break into a fit of giggling if you spent too much time ogling her nude body >Implying
>>26028 I like it. It's not stupid at all. My only criticism is that, as applies to Sentinel Drones in general, the depiction is too nobledark for the way Humans are explicitly depicted as being in this setting, unless you intend to play with that and explore the creation of what are essentially the Solver Drone equivalent of Chaos Space Marines. >N's laughter after getting the virus in the pilot mirroring his laughter while getting vivisected by Beau >(This is Fun for Them) Where There's a Whip There's a Way!
>>25728 >Manipulator made it on the list Pleasantly surprising seeing my autistic donut steele getting a card. I absolutely should indulge this OC itch further once I can properly digest what happens in Ep8
>>26034 Thanks. I wanted to post the story chapter by chapter, but the whole Sentinel Drone pushback thing that happened a while back made me rethink it. I've been working on it for around 2~ months rewriting stuff but the first couple of chapters are 100% done. Hopefully i'm able to finish by early next year if life doesn't get in the way. Also it ties in to this ancient green I never finished last September. https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/139800892/#139806364
>>26038 Being 100% honest it's a self insert Human X Sentinel Drone pairing that will lean into the "lore" every once in a while but don't worry, things will get dark.
>>26042 >Is the human guy more like a super soldier Nope, if anything I tried to make him relatable (but not too much). He's a regular guy working in a fortress planet for a doomed race, but every human has mandatory military service so he is a soldier.
>>26043 There is one (1) gag in the story involving a Raptor Sentinel interacting with a Sentinel Drone, but aside from that no. Look at V for a canon-complaint pairing
>>25950 >>25957 >>25965 Thanks! >>25972 Thanks, I was planning on making it all way darker initially, to make her eyes and teeth stand out from her very dark face, but the colours were just not bright enough and I wasn't willing to risk repainting it. Turned out well enough in the end >>25954 And thank you too, very impressive art of yours there! I think this is the first time I have seen a nose in thread art, I didn't expect it but it works well. Also very good pose/placement, the way Cyn and Tessa have their hands placed differently, with each working perfectly for the pic, independent from each other even, very creative and well made. >>25963 Glad to hear it friend, even thiugh it wasn't very goid imo after completion, seeing it difitalky now after a few hours, I see how it works. I have many more Alice's in progress, this will be the only one ready for (even if a day too late) anniversary, but the others will follow over the week. Next thing is LL though, the design and idea seethed long enough, will begin her tomorrow
>>26045 I think it was good Friend, but I guess that feeling is somewhat good, means you want to improve further and you want to be even better, and that is something I have heard you need to do, if you think something you did is bad, or you don't seem to see a way to make it better, it can help to leave it just a bit, wait a few hours and then come back to it. I imagine you have a lot of Alice's, I will be waiting to see them. And I'm a little too excited to see that, I really want to know how you plan doing it. Something that I wanted to asked, did you finished reading the green about Alice and the deer? I think I remember you saying you would read the other half later, I might be wrong, my memory is not the best.
>>26051 Hers is a tale of spiraling bitterness and despair. It's sad really. She's like the inverse of Uzi; she had everything before the plot kicked off, then lost it all and became less and less herself until she ended up dead. Uzi had nothing and has slowly grown as time has gone on.
>>26045 >And thank you too, very impressive art of yours there! I think this is the first time I have seen a nose in thread art, I didn't expect it but it works well. Also very good pose/placement, the way Cyn and Tessa have their hands placed differently, with each working perfectly for the pic, independent from each other even, very creative and well made. aaaaahh thanks a bunch aliceanon! the kind words really mean so much to me, i appreciate it a ton :] and im happy you noticed the little stuff like that, you have a very artistic eye :]
>>26050 You are very right, iz was hard at times, mostly due to work and weather in the last two weeks, but I learned a lot from this one for sure. I'll look that I can show you something of her tomorrow definitely, I plan on making her design first, I need to because of the hair and technical differences from normal DDs, I hope to finish it tomorrow, the one of her boxing I won't rush though. >Alice deee I thought of it, always told myself do that task first, then read it tonight, but in the end I always ended up too tired or postponed it for later, to not use good stuff up too early, I do that a lot with things. I also intend on drawing it first, already have two in mind for the first two parts ( if we go by the /trash/ partition of posts), I wanna have at least a sketch done before reading part three (of five), idk why exactly As you see friend, many fronts, but LL is priority and with colder weather things will get better soon. Not tonight no more, tiredness came again
>>26068 Well it's nice to hear you learn a lot, that is important when learning something, like having fun doing it; Was the weather too bad? I'm so excited to see that! And yes, she is a DD but she is quite different, I guess that can make it harder maybe, and don't rush of course, I have time to wait. I can understand you, I tend to do that with some stuff too, sometimes I end up postponing things for weeks later. That sounds really interesting Friend, I can't wait to see that too. Take your time, and I hope things feel better, the heat can really make you feel tired sooner. Rest well my Friend, tomorrow is another wonderful day.
>>26054 Practically everyone would be better off if she had stayed dead, but she probably had no idea of the consequences of the deal. so honestly, no.
>>26075 If the Solver hadn't chose Cyn, if it never manifested in the manor and instead chose some other drone dump on the other side of the world. Then N, V and J would just be dead, instead of DD's. Depends if you consider death to be worse than what they currently are.
Image:172412141059.gif(103kB, 1130x504)CoreNori and Khan Plush.gif
>>26081 I'm predicting Khan as the big on-screen death. He couldn't save his wife from "dying" at the hands of the Solver's minions, he took the coward's route when his daughter was in mortal danger, the finale is where he will die with his finger on the trigger and a great big "fuck you too" on his lips to give his wife and daughter the time together they never got. Plus Liam's already killed off a father character right in front of their offspring once before
>coming home to N >opening the door and seeing fluff and foam scattered around >seeing N ripping the couch with his teeth and claws, wagging his tail >calling N a bad drone >picking up N by the coat and bending him over your knee, exposing his rear plate >spanking N's fat drone butt >N remaining defiant and refusing to apologize >setting N aside and reaching into the closet >watching N's eyes widen in fear as you withdraw the yaoi paddle from the closet >approaching N slowly as he cowers away and begs for mercy >bending N over your knee and raising the paddle to strike >N promising to be a good drone from now on >hearing N yelp as the paddle strikes his behind >watching N's lip quiver as he understands the consequences of his actions >seeing the tears form in N's eyes as you strike again >N promising not to rip your couch again
>>26093 >this joke is literally like a year old dude. ACKSHUALLY I am almost certain femanons didn’t show up until October/November last year, but i’m positive they weren’t around (or drew art) last August.
>since so many people have begun to get into bugretta honey farming, there have been shows and competitions for bugrettas at county fairs just like there are for rabbits and chickens and pigs >they don't need to be kept in cages since bugrettas are unable to go anywhere on their own, but fairgoers are advised not to touch them or bother them since they can still bite >bugrettas are judged for various qualities such as size and hair sheen >another thing they're judged for is "taste", in which various scenes and clips from the Star Wars films are shown to them and their reactions are judged >the best bugrettas are awarded with a blue ribbon
>>26100 I joined the threads around October/November, after the Glitch X event first pic i drew was uzi showing her nude pussy by lifting her sweater, hope no one has saved that one, it makes me bueno to look at it i should redraw it at some point
>>26110 My regret is only making one serious OC and immediately fumbling the bag. Wish I could've done something more fun and interesting instead. Not to say that I can't do that now, but I'm not sure if it will be the same
>>26110 We are talking when we arrived? I joined here around September if I remember right, the beginning of September, so I was here for my birthday, soon I will be one year in these threads, and two birthdays here too!
>>26107 I can't really think of anything, the plot just kinda wouldn't happen. I don't think Enns can regenerate and that blast was pretty big so Uzi would do the equivalent of killing the teams pet

>>26109 >March 2023 >Episode 4 hadn't even aired yet Damn, that was back before Murder Drones threads were even hitting bump limit IIRC!
I only showed up sometime in May during the lull between Ep4 & Ep5. Never would have imagined how badly I would end up getting into the show, but I certainly don't regret it picrel is the earliest post I can definitively remember as being mine
>>26119 >Uzi kills >The overly friendly >The overly curious >Puppy loving >Child-like Innocence >Team Pet Yeah, I think she kinda deserves to get her shit kicked in for that
>>26116 Its complicated, but I simply have a soft side for loveable idiots, but N is the type that could kill me or protect me. Idk my brain is different like THE femanon, she scares me, but I understand her mindset on why she adores N. >>26121 You need a different type of spray, anon. You have to find out what works :)
>>26070 If you read her discussion with The Solver, the context clues point to her being suicidally depressed and contemplating that the universe shouldn't even exist when The Solver comes to her, which also implies improperly disposed of Drones are still conscious >>26056
>>26075 >>26077 >Most of N's voicelines in episode 8 are screaming to the point his VA's voice blew out >"HOW /DARE/ YOU JUDGE /ME/ FOR HELPING IT?! YOU HAVE /NO IDEA/ WHAT IT WAS LIKE LIVING UNDER THEM! WHILE YOU WATCHED CARTOONS, /I KILLED THEM ALL!/"
>>26132 You'd have to be kind of an idiot not to fear the rock feeder. Like imagine jumping into the ocean in nothing but your swim trunks and a snorkel mask and not being afraid of great white sharks.

>>26110 Not many, really. Probably letting Khanposting sit as long is it did because I wanted to post it in THE Episode 5 Thread at the time. But everything else has been swell aside from just not drawing as much as I ought to've.
>>26140 I don't actually even know what the deal with the rock feeder is, i think i must have slept through that, but everyone keeps referencing it and now I'm too embarrassedto ask
>>26130 I know there’s more to it, but with how you say it, she was depressed at the state she was in and decided to bring the whole universe down with her.
>>26152 >Negative emotions worsen Solver possession >Cyn's visor displays have always been yellow from the moment she woke up and displayed earnest fear
>>26136 >N spends the entire episode screaming about how evil he REALLY is >It starts with a fairly typical dramatic reveal filled with enough edge to cut through metal >Things start to go awry when his boasts about tricking Uzi inevitably turn into increasingly petty insults >Any character that tries to interrupt is both verbally AND physically beaten into submission as N's monologue passes the 5 minute mark >By the 10 minute mark the perspective is effectively focused solely on a closeup of N's face as his rabid ramblings become more and more unhinged >When his voice finally starts going out from all the screaming N straight up breaks the 4th wall, insulting everyone from Michael Kovach to the animation team & even Liam himself >As the rapidly reducing runtime of the episode brings the credits unceremoniously onto the screen N spends his final moments cursing at the audience
>While most people (including GLITCH) are left stunned over the clearly anomalous occurrence, a handful of "media literate critics" waste no time in praising this as the greatest ending to an animated show ever produced
>>26154 I remember that, he said when he uploaded he always mistakingly drew Doll with short hair he did that sometimes in the past by accident, that is supposed to be Doll
Some time I like to think some outpost are deep into the 2000s LARP from movies, series, and games, they even have punk drones, and drones that grafitti the walls with anti-outpost messages, and it's really edgy in many places, listen to stuff like Joey Valence & Brae - PUNK TACTICS (Official Video) for some reason I find it funny I wonder if many outpost survive, what LARP would each one have
N won't end up being evil and ep-8 will end with him and Uzi kissing. N is evil schizo will then turn into Alicefag 2.0. He will spend the rest of his days making essay posts about how N actually was set up to be evil the entire time and it would have had a ton of plot relevance but it was cut instead.
>>26168 >videos of people beating and mutilating and burning their N plushies Why would anybody do that? Even the literal children who had Mom & Dad buy them their merchandise would be hard pressed to do something as silly as that Also I could have sworn that his VA said wayyy back that Episode 5 was his favorite to record
>>26172 I have exponentially more respect for Alicefag(s) than I do for the Evil!Nfag solely because the former actually produces worthwhile content for the threads
>>26174 Anyone complaining about the "glacial" speed of posts would have certainly been filtered by how slow the threads before Ep5 actually were Besides, 'quality' autism is far more valuable than fast autism anyway

>>26168 question for you, and any other anons that wanna answer it - if you were gonna write a story where N, though his heart was in the right place, was forced to *convincingly* betray uzi at the end of the first season, then became the main “villain” for the second season, then in the end sacrificed himself to stop cyn, showing his true good nature - basically, he’s a good boy pretending to be a bad boy pretending to be a good boy - how would you write this story?
>>26158 >A few days later, Glitch issues an apology, saying that the intended Episode 8 seems to have been replaced with this oddity that they're still not sure about >Since it'd take months of planning, they decide to do an emergency stream where Liam and the crew will lay out all the plans they had for the episode for everyone >Not even a few minutes into the stream, N somehow joins the call and begins ranting yet again, muting everyone else when they try to interrupt, continuing until the stream is shut down >Text accounts of the situation also get overwritten, the true episode 8 is forever out of anyone's reach for unknown reasons
>>26236 >N slips and falls down >He starts shaking his limbs in a panic >"Help! I can't swim!" >J walks over him and steps on his head as she passes, pushing it into a tiny puddle >"Idiot."
I dunno how much anons here remember RUINED EARTH but I've decided to re-write the fic since I wasn't happy with how it's going and its coherency. Hopefully this iteration should be much better and more coherent with some elements removed which I deemed unecessary and distracting. I hope you guys enjoy the first chapter.
>>26245 This is why I like the idea of LaboBots, there definitely were different versions of drones made by other companies, but because JCJ was essentially the government at that point in time, most of those "rival" designs were a lot more niche compared to drones.
>>26249 speaking of robot types and laborbots: > sentinels were originally planned to just be floating orbs bootleg anti-drone sentinels for laborbots? maybe theyre not even floating, but like how Wheatley is in portal 2 to move around
>>26222 >where N, though his heart was in the right place, was forced to *convincingly* betray uzi at the end of the first season, N unlocks his Solver host through an exploit that V had previously used to keep her memories. He decides that Uzi is going to destroy the universe and be completely assimilated and so to save her and the universe, he resolves to assimilate her into his own expanded consciousness, and try to relaunch her from there. But for that to work, the target has to be complete dead inside and devoid of will, and so offer no resistance. Worst of all, while he can obscure his thoughts, anything he says (especially to Uzi) will be picked up by the Solver (he has a realization about why V never told him anything). N has to physically and emotionally betray Uzi so that her spirits will be utterly crushed, and he can assimilate her. For peak impact, he does it when it looks like they've just expelled Cyn from Copper 9.
To his horror, he discovers that he lacks sufficient fundamental knowledge to revive Uzi, and decides to pick up where the Solver left off with the elimination of the planet's population to get it.
>>26234 I miss the back-to-back Murder Drones threads after Episode 6 came out and December/January. It just felt like there was magic in those threads that can’t be replicated here or in /trash/.
>>26261 We all love Doll here. Cute, tramatized, orphan Doll. But the truth is that she is a monster who doesn't deserve any sympathy or second chances.
I'm not into necrophilia but if I could draw I would draw Doll at her place getting the sexual frustration out of her system using either a dead drone body or a severed adapter. I think it would make for some good horror.
the rot is so desperate right now that im getting all melty about the fact that N literally even has the parts of his body at all that could be called his tummy and his chest

If I ever become a billionaire one day, I am investing all my resources into creating Sentinel Drones. I do not give a single shit about any other scientific field that does not work into fulfilling this goal. >Medicine? >Astronomy? >Social Sciences? Unless they work towards creating the absolute beauty of Sentinel Drones, then I will not give a single dime towards them. Time is money, and there's only so much time in a man's life before they perish without seeing the awe of a steamy Sentinel Drone. Now, naturally, it seems impossible to create even a "regular" worker drone without Sentient AI as seen in canon, nevermind a Sentinel Drone. To that I say: >Fuck you Take a look at the video above. It took mankind less than a lifetime to go from airplanes to landing on the moon. All we need is the WILLPOWER to do it. And everybody knows that sexual frustration is one of the biggest motivators to getting shit done. Yes, i'm sure it will be discouraging at first. There will be a long process of trial and error that will break many. And even if we advance our engineering to create SD's, it will seem as if they are simply empty soulless husks with a metal interior. But take a look at chatbots that i'm sure some of you have used and are currently using. They went from being incomprehensible to being able to maintain a regular conversation with you. Do not lose hope (heh) anons. It will happen. And it will be glorious
>>26289 Damn you man, I really dislike Sentinel Drones. I don't know how you tolerate them when they act like creepy stalkers and even watch you through the window while you sleep.
>>26283 Many times yes, when one creates the best you can do is take inspiration from places, I many times take inspiration from here, series I have seen, games U have played, or thing I have read, even other green of course.
>>26251 > sentinels were originally planned to just be floating orbs You got a pic? >bootleg anti-drone sentinels for laborbots? The sentinel equivalent for labor bots is a worker drone with a stun baton.
>>26311 >>26312 I don't think concept art was ever made for it. If it was it wasn't posted on /co/. I can find numerous posts talking about it but not a single image for it. >>26312 This?
>>26313 Jesus Christ, how many interpretations of Sentinel Drones are there? I swear every drawfag who draws one makes them more different than the last.
>>26314 Probably due to the first examples of sentinel drones phoenixanon made where more on the "incredibly fucking busted" side in terms of powerscale. (With the downside of all of them being unstable little freaks which i love)
Some anons liked the concept dispite this (myself included) and attempted to make their own variations of the idea.
>>25575 Good to know, I saw it, they will do a recap of the behind the scenes event at month's end, as well as a 're-run' with ep8 this time. Should definitely be worth the money, just annoying that I missed it by two days
>>26220 I managed to upload a number of Outpost 6 greentexts last night although I wasn't able to upload the entire 'batch' before going to sleep. I'll finish uploading the rest (along with any pieces if art) later today
Prediction: the final battle won't be one that our protagonists can actually win, the goal will just be to keep the Solver's primary host out in the open for long enough for the sun to rise and destroy Cynwalker.
>>26308 >You got a pic? i do not, it was only ever talked about afaik
>>26314 anon we are talking about the actual sentinels and their pre-production version > we didnt know how difficult they would be to animate, so we planned to have them as floating orbs for simplicity
>>26343 I would bet a tenner that Liam will shoot himself in the foot by showing that humanity is alive and the stakes are meaningless. It was all a VR game or Cyn was lying even about her killcount and she is really a minor nuisance to humanity.
>>26350 (me) Alright that was fucking weird. I tried to make a funpost and I kept getting an error screen. This Oogi post however is the only one that got through
So I'm honestly curious since I've seen people criticize greens where the human is (you). What kind of setup do you guys prefer for greentexts where there's human involvement? Do you prefer one where the human is written from a first person perspective and you're allowed to basically put anything in place of an actual name and face? Or do you prefer those where the humans are named and have their own lore? (Like Henry for example)
>>26355 Depends on the context. Unless i’m writing a big story, the greens I’ve written always have the self-insert be referred to as “Anon”/(you), and switches between a 3rd and 1st person POV.
>>26355 For me personally it depends on the context. If it's a non-serious green then I'm perfectly fine with having an Anon, however if it is a serious green then I feel like it somewhat ruins it. Then again, this is only my opinion
>>26355 Self-insert shit is mostly indulgent and cares not (usually) for in-character interactions. Usually nothing more than quick material for a chuckle or fap. However, if it's OC/shit made up on the spot then it's less egregious, but can be tiring if subject to saturation. The better works (in my opinion) construct their own sub-settings, characters and stories within the MD universe where human involvement makes sense under certain circumstances. E.g. Solver War, Oslo-2 with Dr Holly and SD-K, Henry and SD-MG. That said stuff like Elf, The Archiver and the Labour Bots have their place too. Personally I like the separate one-offs where it's from a drone's pov, like Assembling a Disassembler or the WD Retaliation greentexts.
I think if you treat Anon as a distinct character much like a certain /v/ parody game did, you can make it work to much greater effect as a self-insert.
>Be Absolute Solver >Go around assimilating humans, condemning them to a fate worse than death >You know, the usual >Out of nowhere you hear the word Anon inside your mind >thefuck.jpg? >See this weird ass pure-white humanoid looking thing in the distance >It literally has the words “Anon” written on it’s face >Before you can react, your body starts behaving on it’s own “H-Hey Anon. Nervous Smile” >THEFUCK.jpg >You would never say that to the organic fuel battery >”It” starts walking towards you “Would you like to go on a date” >One of your tentacles starts massaging it’s face >You scream internally as an external force makes you “violate” Anon.
>Somewhere, a man in a mongolian thread-weaving forum is fantasizing about being in his situation
>>26283 I've been very transparent about me using other sources for inspiration when it comes to my stuff (namely Touhou and now Arknights), but there are also instances where I take queues from other anons, like some of the Alice or Jane greentexts. Hell, "Sengoku Badlands" was a name someone suggested for the setting back when I was just begining to work on Haru and Aoi and even my most recent endeavor (Absolute Territory) is technically a remake one of the earlier greens someone made of them.
>>26283 At the end of the day we’re all using Liam’s series as a setting for our stories. Now i’m not going to use somebodies OC since it’s their own, but I do use some headcanons/fancanon material that has been made in these threads.
>>26383 >For shits & giggles, go to Oogi: The Musical >Expect nothing more than a cheap-play with shitty music that sounds like it was made by a kindergartener >Show up >TFW it's an Rock Opera >TFW it's actually not shit
"Anons" are the million shards of the one outer god who was friends with the Solver, and maybe they would have been something more, had he not exploded the way he did. When all are united, perhaps they can go on that date he promised. But they're really damn hard to find and keep dating robots, so the Solver's gotten used to assimilating entire realities and sifting his shards out. What I'm trying to say is, don't worry too much when she starts eating this world, we'll all be put back together as intended in the end.
>>26399 Maria from Sonic The Hedgehog She got shot by a soldier and died which is why Shadow is like that and the fandom cheers when she dies which is fucked up ngl
>>26407 I mean Liam definitely has a little bit of troll in him (looking at you episode 5 cliffhanger) but he wouldn't end the show with a dumb meme reference.
>>26421 Anon, please understand, they need all the room they can get for assorted threads thirsting over underage characters and interpersonal twitter drama.
>>26422 the part that pisses me off the most is when they decided to /trash/ our threads. it's not uncommon for a series to get thrown into the dumpster during a long hiatus or after they end, but we waited over HALF A YEAR for Episode 7.
they could have done so at any moment between the span of Episode 6-7 when we had some of our lowest points yet they decided to do it LESS THAN A FUCKING MONTH AFTER EPISODE 7 RELEASED.
God I hate those fucking faggots and their shitty powertrips
>>26430 >Watching episode 8 >Uzi and N watch helplessly as their universe is eradicated by the solver >Roll credits >After the credits finish a strange message appears on screen >"You can now play as Luigi" >mfw
>>26436 There's a poster in episode 7 connected to some weird theory the the Universe resets itself. The idea is that at the end of Murder Drones thr universe will reset
>>26441 Wait where's that? I saw the posters about the countdown to the singularity and Dr Chambers team being the only ones successful in patching the Solver but I missed that one.
>>26449 I legitimately do not recall. I do however slightly remember it on the /co/ thread when the episode released. I'm hoping someone brings it up because that seems pretty damn eery and important
>>26441 >The world of MD is a computer program >Cyn is the delete function that wipes the scene clean before the user closes the program or starts another project
>>26450 You taking about the big crunch poster? That's a theory about the universe imploding, causing a second big bang which creates a new universe. It's not a universe reset in the sense of everything going back to the way it was before.
>>26459 >OC based on a pre-existing character from a different ip that takes the form of an alternate version of a robot from a Liam Vickers show see? we’re already getting into the threadlore spirit!
>>26455 Big crunch isn't really a universe reset. It's more like an entirely new universe. In the context of MD, the poster is likely a reference to the singularity growing big enough to suck up the entire universe.
Once the show is over I will go back to making an animated cube. I have some study material I haven't gone through. Part of me wants to become a one-man DLC studio so I can run riot with the ocs and Liam's works. Maybe reach out to Liam and offer my skillset. It wouldn't hurt the ugly to be able to brag that he's worked on projects on various media.
>>26490 Could be worse. Imagine if you'd spent days making art of your oc only for someone to go "Uoooooh! I want to rape her! I want her to get shot by her throwaway bastard! Draw feeeeet!"
>>26506 The overwhelming horniness these threads have for her despite being the mechanical vessel of an outer god wearing a teenager's corpse like a 2 piece suit.
>>26483 They would definitely share the same codebase, although the DD modifications on top of the latent Absolute Solver might make things not quite straightforward
