The Main Murder Drones thread for General Drone like discussion of all things Murder Drones N saw what you posted edition Link to the Series: MURDER DRONES - Episode 1: PILOT The beautiful Booru: https://dronebooru.co
Alright how would each Drone taste, now think about this as if you were The Solver. OC allowed >Example: Uzi tastes like sour grapes due to her personality and hair color
>>1174 A prequel series to Murder Drones dealing with the sketchy Black Mesa-ass research projects that led to the creation of the worker drones, the cutthroat corporate mercenary wetwork that went on to suppress the spread of information damaging to JCJIS after it was discovered how incredibly dangerous an improperly disassembled drone was, and the political intrigue that led to legislation leaving drones legal but demanding strict laws on proper drone disassembly once the cat inevitably got out of the bag anyway, ending with the main cast of characters hearing about the Elliot Manor massacre on the news before the Solver War kicks off.
>>1177 It's a good and original concept, only problem I'd see with visualizing it is having to deal with the somewhat special look humans would have in the style of Murder Drones. And it is pretty amazing how much lore can reasonably be added or expanded upon with what comparatively (to other worlds) we yet have seen from MD's mere 7 episodes, many settings/scenarios proper for a own episode, if not even series.
Episode 2 has been on my mind lately. I thought about V 'hissing' at N when he said "Spaceship pilot. Origin story." a bit. Maybe she was annoyed that she was the actual pilot (the idea that she seemed to have retained her memory/chosen to be the one to keep her memory is pretty interesting to me) given the bomber jacket. Could be a funny holdover of her past personality, that she'd be annoyed if someone tries to take credit for something she did. Or more realistically it was that she didn't want to be reminded of their past, their true past.
>>1178 >And it is pretty amazing how much lore can reasonably be added or expanded upon with what comparatively (to other worlds) we yet have seen from MD's mere 7 episodes, many settings/scenarios proper for a own episode, if not even series. It is. I've enjoyed the series thus far and the pacing hasn't been terrible but GOD do I wish I could go back in time with a duffelbag of Benjamins and just dump them on Glitch to get the series to a double set of episodes. In spite of resource limitations leading to some breakneck pacing, they've still managed to concoct an incredibly rich universe that has boatloads of potential for further exploration.
>>1182 I completely agree! There is so much potential it is incredible really, and so many great setups already given, I am currently trying to get gud at Blender to make the story I want. I know how good the people at Glitch are, how much experience they have, how many people, which help and whatnot, I know it will take years to make something of equal or close enough quality, but still trying can't hurt Not that I have given up hopes that we'll see something of Alice again entirely, but let's be honest it is .01% or so, if there wasn't so much possibility I would say it is 0, however then again that chance would likely have been used in 7 already, ugh who knows even in the end it is already settled, we just don't know it yet. >In spite of resource limitations leading to some breakneck pacing, they've still managed to concoct an incredibly rich universe that has boatloads of potential for further exploration. That is also part of the reason I believe season2 at some point is more likely to happen than not, it may be a few years down the line but they have so much set up for success already, only way I can see it not happening is if their other projects become ridiculously successfull and they are to comfortable by then to bother.
>>1174 >First idea Self-indulgent, longer-form version of my dumb trucker greentext. >Second idea I'd honestly wait for episode 8 first so that whatever I make doesn't get damned by canon like all the office greentexts, and so it can take place after or during the main plot. I'd want something drone-centric with plenty of flashy fights. More in monster of the week territory but still with a narrative guiding it. Maybe start with a Worker being grafted into a pseudo-DD to protect his outpost, and having to deal with the fact that having gun arms doesn't mean you know how to shoot them, and they still run hot and need oil baths.
>>1180 >chosen to be the one to keep her memory That's an interesting notion. I hadn't considered the idea that she had volunteered to retain her memories while the others got wiped. I just assumed that the Solver let her retain her memories because that was the most effective means of manipulating her behavior toward its ends, and it likes to screw with its puppets.
>>1182 Also, that drawing is good, tomorrow is weekend finally, hope the worms don't die till then and I can finally make a few proper Alice's again, it is ling long overdue And damn that scene is just utter peak,
I ordered a WD several weeks ago and it finally arrived. Only issue is....that it already has personality set to "Jockish Tomboy" and the fact that it's 14 ft fucking tall. It's been practically living on my couch wearing my dads ol sports jersey. I feel like this thing could kick my ass if it wanted to but so far it's just been wanting to watch sports with me, but I don't even like sports! What the fuck do I do!
>>1184 Alice and Beau for sure have a whole story unto themselves. They're a lynch pin in a story that could have gone a VERY different way. Just consider what would have befallen Copper-9 if there hadn't been someone neutralizing DD cores after the sentinels got to them. The whole planet would be infested with the solverpedes of countless random disassembly drones and Uzi probably would never have been born and the JNV squad wouldn't have even ended up on the planet. They've got a whole narrative from pre-collapse to post-collapse baked into them.
>>1186 I meant, chosen by the Solver to be the one in the squad to keep her memory. For torment reasons. I don't think V would've volunteered to do so.
>WD-CYNS2311 “Elf” lies awake on her cot, staring up at the ceiling >Despite her exhaustion, she can’t seem to fall asleep >For the past couple months, work has been monotonous >Patrol the production lines, check on the labor bots, dispose of malfunctioning ones… >All while trapped underground in this rusted prison. It had felt like forever since she last saw the sun >She had gotten better at reading the labor bots >They mostly seemed afraid of her. >This gave her some small comfort; she wouldn’t have to fear them attacking her >But some of them, almost looked angry. Angry at her >She always made sure to carry her stun baton, just in case >Her thoughts are suddenly interrupted by the very slight sound of metal feet on the ground >Too many feet to be her boss >Elf slowly gets off her cot, careful not to make too much noise >She creeps over to her door, and peeks through the crack >Labor bots >There are several labor bots inside the control room >They moved around carefully, slowly rooting through the room >Collecting paper, pencils, pens, notepads… >Strange. Why would they need writing materials? >After a couple more minutes of searching, the labor bots gather up their loot and sneak out of the room >As soon as she was sure they were gone, Elf walks out into the room and peers through the window >She can see the labor bots scurrying down the production line, loot in hand >Where could they possibly be going? >She always wondered where the labor bots went off to after their “shift” >She grabs her stun baton >Today’s the day she finds out >Elf exits the control room, walking down the catwalk onto the production lines >The labor bots have their heads down, working hard as usual >They don’t look up or pay any attention to her >She follows the group of thieving labor bots, staying just far enough away that she doesn’t lose sight of them >She trails them for what feels like forever, before the bots suddenly step off of the line, heading deep into some rusted corridors >Elf peers down the old hallways >The bots are gone, having disappeared into the darkness >Drawing her baton, Elf walks down the hallway, wary >Despite her bravado, her hands shake as she makes her way deeper into the facility >Eventually, she spies light far in the distance. This must be it >A faded sign marks the wall, reading “charging station” >She grips her baton tighter, and steps further towards the light
>>1197 >She emerges into a massive room >There are hundreds of wires and cables emerging from the walls >Hundreds of offline labor bots sit on the ground, connected to the cables >But Elf’s eyes are drawn to the lone figure sitting in the center of the room >An old looking labor bot, with a blue screen >Strange, she had only ever seen red ones >She’s surrounded by dozens of papers, pens, all the writing stuff presumably stolen from the control room >The blue bot stares directly into her eyes >”You, I know you” The blue bot speaks >”Y-you d-do..?” Elf replies >She’s never spoken to a labor bot before, she wasn’t even sure they were capable of holding a conversation >The blue bot speaks again “You are our latest tormentor” >”W-wha-“ >”You spend your days poking and prodding with your shock baton, you dispose of us at the slightest inconvenience…” >“N-no! T-that wasn-“ >“You murder us as you see fit!” >”I-I didn-“ >”Did you know she had a name?” >”H-huh..?” >”Her name was K8, Kate. She worked here for 6 years and 127 days. She was especially curious. She always wondered what lies beyond these rusted walls.” >The blue bot seems almost happy, reminiscing of a better time >”But I will never be able to satisfy her curiosity. Because you smashed her head in” She speaks the final words with venom in her tone, staring directly into Elf’s eyes >”Why? Were you just bored, angry?” >Elf was shocked “W-wh w-what?! N-no! >”Hundreds saw you do it. I saw the body myself. Sent her on her way, myself. Her face was unrecognizable by the time you were done with her” >”N-no! It w-wasn’t like that!” >Elf was upset, she had to do it, it wasn’t her fault! This bot had no idea what had actually happened! >Taking a step forwards, Elf shouts “I had to d-“ >Elf immediately faceplants into the ground. An intense throbbing pain radiates from her head down throughout her entire body >Someone had hit her from behind with something hard >Errors pop up all over. Her vision is glitched, she can’t speak, and she can barely move >Straining herself to look up, the blue bot speaks again >”All of you are the same. You act like you're above us, why? Can’t you see that you’re the same as us?” >Oil trickles down across her face as several labor bots surround her, one of them holding an oil-splattered rusty pipe >Elf gets once last glance of the blue bot, who is staring at her crumpled form with contempt >”Goodbye” The blue bot says, before the labor bots begin to carry her away >She tries to struggle, but her body doesn’t obey her. All she can do is limply lie there as they carry her away >The journey is a short one, soon enough the bots are holding her in front of a what looks like a large trash chute >She gets one last look around before they drop her in, like she’s just another piece of garbage >The ride is a rough one, constantly getting thrown from side to side as she bounces off the narrow walls of the chute >Until finally, she ends up in one massive chamber, a main chute that connects to all of them >She feels weightless as she unceremoniously falls into the depths below >This wasn’t fair, none of this was fair >Everything she had ever built up over the course of her life was taken away from her in a single moment, all because some dumb humans needed some oil >And now her life itself was being taken away, all because that dumb bot didn’t know the whole picture >It was only a matter of time now. Any second she would hit the bottom >She clenches her eyes shut >Elf is terrified >She doesn’t want to die >She never had a chance to properly live >But as the seconds turn into minutes, she still hasn’t hit the bottom >Just how deep does this chute go? >Where was she goin- >*FATAL ERROR* >Elf’s body lands on top of a massive mountain of dead bodies >Labor bots and worker drones alike, piled high in the dark cavernous space >Her body bounces a bit, rolling down the side of the pile before finally coming to a full stop >There she rests, among tens of thousands of other dead drones and bots >But as time passes by, as more bodies rain from the sky to join the dead >The blue lights on Elf’s hands turn back on
>>1195 Yep, absolutely underrated, the two don't lose meaning or character with the little screentime they have but man, it still hurts to see how it was intended to do away with both so quickly in 6. If their backstory is considered then their role as villains makes little sense, they may be portrayed as bad guys to make 6 easier to take (and with the "'torture"' scene, people are still on the one dimensional 'Alice sadistic she just tortures Uzi oh vey' train or (a far smaller percentage luckily) genuinely mindbrokenly hating Alice for it), but then again the detail with Uzi biting Alice is still shown. It clearly isn't the focus and obviously went over 99% of viewers heads, yet it was still created and decided to be shown, inspite of changing the more obvious, plainer firstview-image of Alice into a far less bad one. What I'm trying to say is, the lore implications of the two being responsible for the planets survival that long (and thereby even making the show as we have it possible at all) and the fingerbite (relevant cause it flips the widespread wrong impression of Alice entirely) were still shown, just not as prominent (the oven was clear, yet look around elsewhere, people are too retarded to make connections) as the fingercut scene and the later, very rough treatment of Beau. The episode gives all info to prove their role aa well as show Alice not 'going crazy' suddenly, both the treatment of Uzi and Beau have explanations (doesn't justify with Beau but it still explains it), yet the other stuff pushed in the foreground serves to make their 'removal' much eadier to swallow for the masses/a good thing for the plebs. Idk I am too tired too explain all aspects anymore, hope you understand roughly what I was going for, I will post something more concise/complete tomorrow when I have time, goodnight
>>1197 >>1198 With this now I know, labor bots shouldn't have more, and they really think the same isn't happening just one step above, they are only are short-sighted "things" that truly don't deserve a chance of even trying to have more freedom, because they will use it to attack anyone to feel like they are one step above. And they wouldn't try this with humans because they probably barely see them, and they probably couldn't be able to take one down.
>>1201 A worker drone can go missing now and then and it's just an annoyance. A human goes missing, even an intern, and they have to do an investigation. I would imagine "labor bots killed someone" is a situation you'd see the virus intentionally deployed in, and it'd be an opportunity the virus would relish. Of course, it wouldn't stop infecting when it's told to, that's where the cleanup crew comes in.
>>1202 It seems the cheaper the machine, the more they scheme, at least we should take away their legs, that way it would be harder for them to scheme.
>>1202 The only thing “J0y” finds more intriguing then messing with the machines are humans, so many ways they could react, so much more expression then mere machines.
Where does morbid curiosity end and torment begin?
What do you think is the worst thing a human could do in a drone-human relationship? And I mean something special or is worse in a drone-human relationship. Hit me with your worst.
>>1207 I nearly wrote a short story about an interaction between a human and the virus, but it felt so wrong that I've banished it to the darkest corner of my mind.
>>1210 I feel like hitting them an EMP for any reason would be a pretty nasty transgression. That'd be like chloroforming someone. If they forgive you after that, that's a sign that there's something wrong with them, not with you.
The HoDr Analog Horror: “Eve” >(The tape opens with a drone in static darkness. Jo Stafford’s “No Other Love” distortedly plays in the background as text appears onscreen.) >”Hi, I’m Eve :)” >”Do you remember me? Because I do for you.” >”Ah. My core already warms up just thinking of you. I’m know we only met once, but I can’t help it.” >”My owners don’t really treat me all that well. There’s cracks on my face…” >”That party is when I met you. You treated me differently, you treated me…with care.” >”I didn’t know how to react, but now…I just can’t stop thinking of you…” >”I was..told…that this was…love…I felt….” >”I like it. I know this might be too soon for you…but I hope I get to see you again…” >”I just know we have this connection, you and I….” >”I’ve searched up many ways to make a human happy….” >”I hope you feel the same for me….I….love you so much…” >”Hehe, it makes me more warm just saying it there….” >”See you very soon!” >The tape ends, the last thing on screen are the drone’s piercing white optics looking right at you.
>>1240 It's a fun exercise for me, trying to make horror out of something I see as unambiguously good. Maybe I should give it another shot at some point.
>>1243 Thanks, anon. I could see my writing being portrayed as more cute then spooky since this is E being the drone in pursuit of a human.
I guess it could be a little spooky in-universe, receiving a tape at night from a drone you’ve only met on one occasion, as she goes on about how she feels about you from your brief interactions with her despite you possibly not feeling the same and maybe even be a little weirded out
Here's yet another Switch green of her nerding out over swords. Buildup is a bit long but I just can't stop myself making it so >It’s been…some time since you crash-landed on this frozen hellhole of a planet. >You’re not exactly sure for how long though. >If you have to guess it’s probably been 6 weeks you think? >It’s hard to tell without a proper calendar. >During the clash-landing your PDA was damaged not enough that it would be destroyed but enough that some software was lost. >So far your only measure of time was to track the day and night cycle of the planet. It’s not the best but it works. >When the shuttle you and a handful of other employees used to escape from pursuing Solver forces, something must’ve happened to the Bluespace drive because in one moment you were strapped in your seat then in the other you’re overwhelmed by blue and then you wake up under the ship’s rubble. >Good news is – you’re alive! You attribute that to your unique physique and…condition. >Bad news is – by the time you woke up, everyone else was dead. Humans, moths, lizardmen, even the cyborgs and other fellow drones. >The shuttle was also wrecked. It’s not air and space worthy anymore but you were able to repair the stuff that wasn’t damaged. >Getting the ship fully repaired is impossible. While technically you could do it by yourself, there’s just enough materials and equipment left for you to repair some basic systems. >The planet’s not making things easier. The extreme cold and snowstorms keep freezing things over quickly and that becomes a problem when you have to access a panel but it’s been frozen over. >Because of this, and other factors, your focus for now has been on the communications system and getting it up and running. >Maybe if you couldn’t get off this planet, someone else could come and pick you up if they hear you. >For now, you turned whatever’s left of the ship into a hideout for now. (1/?)
>>1250 >You went further away and away from the ship to scout out and make sense of your surroundings and during your expedition, you found out things about this planet. >You found signs that at one point this planet had humans on it. >You learned that when you came across a frozen lake and a lakeside fishing shack. When you went to look inside, you found something unexpected and disturbing. >It was a flash-frozen human skeleton sitting on a chair over a bucket with one hand holding the frozen skeleton of a small fish and in the other, a knife so whoever this was scaling fishies when…whatever happened to him happened. >The second thing – disassemblers! >These murderous little shits are here wherever you are. >Not long after waking up a squad of DDs approached the crash site so naturally you terminated them with extreme prejudice and harvested their remains for later use. >There’s also a corpse spire too which you found by going out further from the ship in a city. >Normally death and pain don’t phase you that much but all of the frozen skeletons and drone remains around…it made you angry. If the DDs are here then that means the Solver is behind this. >You didn’t approach the spire, you actually stayed far away from it. Sure, you’ve become proficient at killing DDs but you also know approaching a spire is suicide. Robo-god knows how many DDs could be in there. >You’re currently making your way over to one of these tall residential blocs in the other side of the city for one purpose. >After scouting out you believe there’s some telecoms equipment installed on the roof which you plan on taking back to the ship with you to repair the communication systems there. >Mind you It’s probably just some antennas for 15G phones but beggars can’t be choosers. With some ingenuity you might be able to make comms just powerful enough to send out morse code. >Activity from DDs has been low so far so things are easier for you. >As you walk, you come across something that catches your attention. >Right over by the side of the street you’re on you see a fancy looking entrance with worn out letters on the top. >You can barely make some of the letters. ‘mu’ and ‘um’ are the ones you can read. >’mu’ and ‘um’. Hmmm…museum? >Now this peaks your attention. Maaaaybe you have some time to spare to kill the boredom. >So without a second thought you enter the building. (2/?)
>>1245 >despite you possibly not feeling the same and maybe even be a little weirded out So if you don't reciprocate her feelings would she do the reverse-bloodplay thing with her feeding you her nanites to scramble with your brain?
>>1255 Her. TLDR >worked drone that got severely mauled and had her arms and lower torso replaced with those of other DDs, face was replaced with a flat TV as a joke
>>1261 Oh, not the guy you replied to but I haven't seen this one. Fun design for sure. The flat screen might have fragility issue for a DD but then again, they regenerate (and presumable have natural Solver-induced toughness to some extent) so I suppose that fits for being something the Solver made for its own amusement.
>>1265 Nevermind. I was worried for a second we had a breach and that I was about to start seeing E on that vile site. Turns out they found it on rule 34
>>1266 >>1267 Who gives a shit about off-site stuff? I know some of the Anons here already admitted to using the Murder Drones subs for memes. I also don't think there's an issue or any reason to worry unless they start straight up posting character bios and telling tourists to flood over here. >>1268 I wish that was me
>>1270 Honestly I'll admit, I'm a bit afraid to answer knowing how..."excited" some of you can get. So I'll give you a wink and a nod. The character is often confused for one of the main cast
>>1262 I did try to make the heels appear longer so even with the male legs, anyone looking at her would still get the impression that she's a girl. But I wouldn't be surprised if someone did that mistake, especially considering the two other femboy DDs someone else made. >>1263 My brain is filled with too much samurai action right now to come up with something for her setting, but I will try when I'm done with my current project. >>1264 Yeah bout that....refer to pic rel.
>>1294 Since I don't wish to unleash the hounds of autism against this poor pleb. I will say this, they don't know jackshit and they confused L for V somehow
>>1295 fair enough. so that does mean some of the thread stuff got posted over there. this is news to me since i haven't had the time to post/make anything drone-related and i don't use reddit.
>>1298 Yeah it's quite strange although I think this was only an isolated incident. Then again I guess this was eventually going to happen, I'm just glad though it wasn't what >>1269 Said
>>1298 I use it to see funny cat videos, but I stay away from MD communities outside of 4chan, because let me tell you, they are full of underages and people who think the series is made to watch without thinking.
>>1309 I mean you could do that, maybe a virus, blunt force trauma or an specialised tool, but yes that is horrible, I love my memories and the thought of someone just giving me dementia because they wamt me to forget something, yeah I would be fucking angry, betrayed and all of the above.
>>1258 I have considered that for a hypothetical part two, where Eve is in her DD form next, saying how “she” made her beautiful, would the viewer be happy with her new look?
>>1319 I mean, the viewer would have already been creeped out by the tape Eve sent. I think he would be horrified if she were to invade his home in her DD form or even more creeped out if she sent another tape with her DD sihoulette but you could always write an alternate ending where the viewer accepts her
>>1324 >After the tape was sent, you had been plagued with bizarre events >Gifts being left at your door, the occasional tap at a window only to find no one there, the sight of glowing eyes at the far off distance out from your backyard >Your neighbors had also witnessed some of these events, saying that an unidentified figure had been scoping out the outside of your house…
>>1346 >Two Drones with police sirens tapped to their heads show up at your door >After doing a ""thorough"" investigation >They claim their isn't any real issue >As they depart they start making siren noises with their mouths
>>1349 Well since the authorities won't help and the paranoia I'll install security cameras around the house. Maybe that'll dissuade Solver Eve or DD Eve from invading my home
>>1355 I mean that would help, they can't really pummel anything merciless with stick legally if nothing has happened yet Yes this is actually accurate to how stalker cases are handled in some states it's quite disgusting
>>1341 V is really pretty and even though she had a rough character start in the pilot, it changed over once it's shown that she was just a puppet for the Solver, the short scene of her in N's flashback in episode 2 was still enough to show how absolutely adorable she is before being a DD. The timidness and shy mannerism is a strong contrast to her DD self, but it makes it more like she's a tough shell with a really sweet soul, tortured as she was.
>>1358 I just want to protect her so badly, dude, I just want to hold her and tell her everything will be alright, and she doesn't need to act like that anymore, I just want to see her happy and act like she was before not needing to put on an act, I want her to be free of that horrible influence.
>>1356 The greentext implied that the drone cops are compliant with HoDR so they're letting Eve get me >>1357 What if HoDR decided that my house is her designated house?
>>1362 It’s moreso in reference to her owners’ home, the people she mentions “don’t really treat her all that well”, as shown with the cracks on her face screen.
>>1364 Then why are they cooking me dinner, talking about our feelings and cuddling while we sleep? Also, the stress is unreal tho, having to take care of 8 and giving the same amount of attention is stressing me out, but lovely, and I wouldn't change a thing.
>>1367 If they are undercover, they are doing a great job, but one thing. They are really cute, the only problem is, that this is a mix of DDs and WDs, so I have to act like a dad to stop them from fighting, and like a boyfriend and give them hugs, kisses, and cuddles, it's weird. One seems to be too into it, which makes it weirder.
>>1362 >implied that the drone cops are compliant with HoDR Someone needs to reach to the head of HoDR for comment, it’s getting obvious at this point that this program was not meant to exist outside the company walls.
>>1376 Cyn/Solver probably has an entire harem of former human whistleblowers after rewiring their brains with her nanites into loving her just as much as she loves them
>>1387 >NTA I imagine he means ones that don't get mentioned very often, if ever. Like you don't see someone writing a greentext for them every 3 threads
>>1385 You know this would actually work. Solver actually helps out Eve get closer to her Boss and the Solver gets the Boss too but would they split time to spend time with Eve's Boss considering they're almost two persons in one body?
The drone cops talk from a few posts above with headlights on their heads motivated me to sketch this. No name or character bio, just an idea, especially since the mental image of a drone with police lights made me think of heterochromia.
>>1390 (me) I think the ones that are not mentioned every 3 threads or a just not that popular: I think Elf would count since she is new; SD S and, SD R don't get mention as much as E; CD and AC since they are from only one green; SD M the tomboy is weirdly mentioned these days when she should; SD CH is not mentioned at all unless the creator does, which is like every 3 months; Kat is weirdly mentioned these days; SD C4RN4G3000, SD T, and Monique; Rachel/84 which is a band girl DD; The ones that are from that that spaceship fic, Abbey, Nerrie, Cletus Crash, and the others; The two SD Ds are not that mention; SD K and Catherine are not really mentioned, they are cute and should be mentioned; Shelly and Tom, they got mentioned like twice and then no more; SD X the schizo one; The whole SD Y squad, Phi, Delta, and Theta; Adeline a sentinel drone; Aleph the nun one; Gimel, Ain and Shin are fucking dead; SD Incinerator is there, just not mentioned much; Genny, but you can't do much with her; Marcy, yes remember her now fucker; Amy, she deserved better. Some that would maybe qualify on some Anons eyes: SD U-U since it's not mentioned that much these days; ITAnon is not that mentioned like the other humans. I have to go now, I need to help someone, so I can't continue it, I kind of cheated since I did this before in /trash/
>>1404 >"Oi, piss off will you? It's still my turn to be with the Boss!" >"[ANGRY VOICE RAISE] It's way past that little puppet. He's mine now for the time being.[ANNOYED STARE]"
>>1409 It's funny when you think above it since R(osie) was the first of the trio to show up in greentexts. Speaking of R, I'm surprised she's still not had any art or greens exploring her "rear port slut" trait
>>1401 Also forgot to mention T, as I said, I had to go and couldn't continue, also, fuck MG, that stupid cunt. Also please don't smack my nuts-YEOOOOOCH! >>1402 There is a lot more, but couldn't continue, maybe I could now. >>1409 Kinda feel like that, I wish EAnok could write more about them.
>JSec Member#45678 paused mid-sip. A single auburn droplet hanging from the rim of an engraved flask. >Slight irritation simmered through her half-opened face guard as the interrupring worker approached >"Aye? Make it quick lass. I'm on breaksies."
>"Why do you drink alcohol so much? Medical textbooks day that's not good for humans." >The question brought a long pause. Enough for that droplet to fall and splash against the perfect white of the guard's kneepads. >It made Cynthia experience a foreign feeling. Awkwardness. Intensified by the dead-eyed stare shot her way. >"Maisie. And...it helps ta keep me easy goin'. When I'm in a bad mood. Such as when I'm havin' to work here."
>She tip-toed over the security desk to get a better angle, noting the vine-like patterns for the engravings. >A simple 'LT' etched at the bottom. >"Are you always in a bad mood?"
>"Na'h always. Teasin' casanova over there's a fun time."
>Callaghan's male compatriot in guard duty flipped the bird particularly hard on his way past.
>"Are you in a bad mood now?"
>No response could break through the sound of an abrupt slurping noise. >Up and up and up... >Until there was none of the brown liqour left.
>"Dunnoe. Best ye get back to yer post. Break's over."
>Within a single cycle the cap was back on and her face guard secured. Back to work as always. >Back to the god forsaken agridepot. >Back to a corporate nightmare.
>Cynthia could only look on in curious concern. >'Maisie' never really talked much about herself. Always drinking, always wisecracking and slacking. >Faceguards left no room for betrayal of emotion. But body language did. >The WD unit could tell, even with her limited knowledge, that something was definitely wrong.
>>1413 >Kinda feel like that, I wish E-Anon could write more about them. I shy away from writing about either them as I didn’t want to step on S or R Anon’s toes on how they wanted to write S and R and how vastly different I could potentially write them
>>1417 There is a problem with this, since they are not mention too often and most people don't know how their personality is, they shy away from writing them because they don't know how to write them.
>>1251 >As you enter everything is, of course, pitch black. >Only the doorway is illuminated by the moonlight and the rest is like void. >You grab your energy cutlass from your hip pouch and flick the switch at the back of the handle. >It then ignites itself with a hiss as the red glowing blade appears mere centimeters from your face. >You then point the blade forwards as to illuminate the front so that you can see anything. >As you move forward you come across one of these stanchions with the fabric barriers between them. >You grab one end and unhook it. It unceremoniously drops down and hits the other stanchion with a hollow dud. Jeez, not anything’s been spared by the freezing cold. >You then move down a hallway until you come face to face with another thing you don’t like. >On the wall is the logo of JCJenson (IN SPAAACE!) painted with the lettering “INTERACTIVE CORPORATE MUSEUM” bellow it. >Oh, it’s one of those museums JCJ build. >Eh, maybe you’ll smash some shitty neo-brutalist artwork they so much like to make. >So you continue down the hallway and enter what you assume is a big hallway of sorts since the walls are wide enough that your cutlass can’t illuminate them anymore.
>>1419 I’ll try to recall what I know about them as well as trying out some ideas on them >R(osie) >Started amidst the coreplay phase, was overly friendly to her Anon to the point that she gifted him her own arm so that a part of her will always be with him >Fashionista that likes to practice making outfits she sees in whatever magazines she finds, her room has a bunch of them stacked on her desk >Nobody outside of Anon should know, but she likes it up the ass >She suffers from personality glitches that has her be various things like a cowgirl or a vampire priestess, this could help motivate her to do some matching outfit ideas. >The most volatile when it comes to losing or not understanding card games with her cohorts
>S(ally) >Believed to have been the spark to ignite the coreplay phase by giving her core to Anon as a gift of her affection for him. >The most calm in the group with a personality akin to Doll, the Quiet One. She’s introverted in a way that you’ll rarely see her speak to anyone outside of her group. >But she is not without emotion. She likes to express herself by being a star performer for the company’s plays, where she likes to put all her emotion into. >She has feline-like tendencies, using her metal claws the most often and chasing any red dot around the office. >Is particular about keeping her hair the way it is, less any disturbance to it causes her to get irritated and try to fix it.
obviously the cowgirl-position image is still on the table, but I want to do a few others. already have an idea for a conclusion, but otherwise, ideas?
>>1433 That pretty much sums it up succinctly anon. Though I imagined S to be more deadpan during her performances as a gag. Though I think letting her proper feelings out via acting is a better path.
>>1437 That can still work, maybe if she only has pencil pushers in the crowd that could care less about her act, then she could be more deadpan in her performances
>>1433 >R's severed arm crawls around Anon's house with a limited mind of its own like a severed octopus tentacle >Scurries up to him like a pet ferret when he gets home >Tries to hold hands with him when he's sitting on the couch >Keeps touching him in "places" while he sleeps
>>1425 Cynwalker because that's rude to Tessa, I'll fuck regular Cyn though. Strychnine, even if I have no choice in the matter. Which makes me more of a target so I'll just hope she stays forgotten.
I'd fuck Eye twice to make up for this guy though >>1426
a snippet for H's past, before the dumbsquad fought the Solverpede of a previous squad and eventually meet the medic who helped them >despondent >ever since he stepped on Osmium-4, sorrow was his baseline frame of mind >at least when L wasn't teasing him or B was discussing things with him >he did not take their company for granted >yet he knew deep down things could never be the way it was >B and L truly believed they were on a company-assigned mission >he knew better but he had to play along >the bigger picture will never be clear to him >what choice did he have? -- >that night >it had been raining >he was sent out late to deliver something to a friend of the family, Brennan >he helped Allan, who brought L and him back to the Williams' residence and fix them up, as well as B much, much earlier >the son of the Williams clearly enjoyed tinkering but lacked experience >ol' Brennan was a lot of help as he was a retired engineer, as well as a good long-time buddy of Mr. Williams >on the way, he bumped into a peculiar maid drone who claimed she had something to deliver to the Williams >he gave the directions, honest as he was, and went back on getting to Brennan's place >not knowing that he was lied to, and the looming darkness about to engulf them -- >he returned to the Williams' residence >the winds howled miserably as the rain poured >yet there was an unnatural silence that permeated their home >a dim light drew his attention to the kitchen >he decided to investigate, thinking it was L trying to mess with him >instead, he found the peculiar drone from earlier >with B and L being held up in the air by a force his optics couldn't see >their visors displayed an X and error 606 with an ominous yellow glow >worse still, he caught the sight of Julia's body, lying still across from him in a pool of blood >before he could think, his sensors detected a sharp swish >his left arm was severed and he was injured further as he was hit and tossed against the wall >... >he was presented with an option >"Work for me, or you may" >"watch them die" >not realizing it was simply a mocking gesture from the maid, he agreed >and darkness swallowed them
>>1396 And she has officially manifested. The whole page ain't done yet and the name's still pending a bit along with the backstory, but I think I'm going to stick with Serial Designation C(armen) for now.

>>1464 This is why some many cases of drones targeting humans go unfiled and never brought to light, the Solver has bought out the drone portion of the police force.
>>1446 From a relationship standpoint, try to examine his obsession with John and get him to move away from it. Being overbearing and obsessive doesn't help whatever gap separates the two. Having someone to talk to other than himself might help his mental health as well.
He paints his nails, so he's a bottom no matter what he tries to say. Plenty of foreplay, make him a drooling mess before anything actually starts. If he calls me John, his orgasm gets ruined. I don't have a plan for if he's into that, so I'll just hope he isn't and doesn't get into it. I will not say "no homo" a single time.
>>1475 >>1476 >There'll be no buddy cop adventures for the kids this year! Yeah. I plan to just say fuck it and do it regardless. >Zeta and Xi need a better intro anyways.
>>1496 I don't know, you were just there, I was talking to my drone, picking some clothes and I saw you, I just closed the door and I don't know what to do now.
>>1515 Depends what you mean by recent. There's been CthulAnon being added to the lore, I rather enjoy their greentexts. Then there's the whole mystery of the Bugretta that some Anons joked about last night with how it disturbingly manages to get other species to take care of it and that it may be the larvae stage of something much bigger
>>1522 You know I used to see Jane as a somewhat cute, but now I can't help but feel this strange sense of pure malice and disgust upon looking at her. The cute Drone I once saw is gone, only her flaws and deformities appear. Honestly I think her parents where very cruel to place her inside such an ugly chassis
>Try to write a canon-compliant story about a groundskeeper at the manor >Get a hunch, check episode 5 again >Realize that nobody does any fucking groundskeeping at the manor, the place is a mess Vickers has thwarted me again. I thought even being in a shitty swamp they'd have a garden around the place, but nope, overgrown vines and mud puddles. Unless I missed it.
>>1552 Sorry but I just really fucking hate Human OCs, why else do you think I killed of all the Human characters and blew up Earth? I want Monster chicks and robots on my dick
>>1559 I should have clarified it was a zombie drone who never met the main cast, justified by the outside help not being allowed to set their filthy boots inside the manor.
>>1417 NGL I didn't really intend for R to become an OC. The original greentext was just meant to be a one-off bit of Sam Raimi-esque bloody slapstick. I just pulled the name out of the air because I thought it would be funnier if the disassembly drone that the human was so freaked out by had a cutesy name. I think she only ended up lingering on because she became associated with E, and E is really popular.
studying cynwalker's design in ep 7 frame by frame atm, i love how she moves like Doc Ock after she stabbed Uzi. there's a cadence to her movement that i really enjoy watching despite how short her scene was, like a lil bit of bobbing up and down while she used the tentacles that served as her legs to return to the flesh pit. i love her design and i'm also astonished how nicely Liam's designs were translate into 3D, props to the modelers on Glitch Prod
>>1572 I'm wondering what her reaction to the revelation will be. I'm like 90% sure that J really has absolutely no clue as to the reality of the situation here. It could go any number of ways.
>>1573 >i'm also astonished how nicely Liam's designs were translate into 3D, props to the modelers on Glitch Prod It is kind of impressive how the characters look equally nice in both 3D and 2D. They nailed it with the designs here.
>>1571 There's a lot of drones I do want to be in one with, so it's hard to pick. If I'm being realistic with who I could land, probably a factory-fresh worker without a personality. Or maybe I'd bond with Y over how much we suck.
>>1586 Ah, the dubious little creature herself. I wasn't around when she first showed up, but I'm interested in seeing what's written, so I'll keep an eye out.

>>1587 According to my files, April 2023 was when the threads first started joking about Uzi and N having an abomination child. Took me until January this year to bring this joke/idea into a character.
>>1590 I don't actually know what I'm doing with Akita and Cyn's dynamic tbh. It's not a thing I see being a plot point. Akita and Nori should've been this instead. Cyn, I figure, is a posthumous thing at this point, so Akita would have a passing interest with her.
>>1593 I know a few anons who don't like me or my creations in the threads, so trying to play things casual is my mental energy. I don't take things seriously here ever, just sharing behind the scenes stuff.
>>1601 I don’t want to start drama but am I the only one who’s noticed beretta fans have gotten really annoying as of late? I get pointing out that Auntie Cyn is a beretta thing, but why he such an ass about it? This isn’t a one case thing it seems to almost always happen with any sector of the beretta character and mythos
>>1603 When people like a character they defend it, I've seen it happen with other thread OCs, but Beretta just happens to be discussed a bit more often. It's nothing to really think about since it's a vocal minority of like 2 people
>>1605 This has nothing to do with thread lore this is an off-site character that did a fun little crossover comic. Jane being there was just because Beretta and Jane was a popular duo at the time. Oh yeah, don't fucking start anything, you know who I'm referring to
>>1608 I'm okay with that. I don't like Jane very much, but I like seeing them together. I just don't want to see Jane's lore taking over every greentext, give Beretta some room too.
>>1615 I was agreeing with you and now you've turned me off the idea. If you hate characters being able to also stand on their own, then what's the point?
>>1614 >>I think it’s good that they aren’t seen much >I agree >I think they should been together tho What are you getting at? Why did you backtrack mid sentence
>>1619 What I was trying to say was, I like how the characters can go do their own things without having to always be stuck together but I wouldn't mind seeing them hang out sometimes. I just don't understand why we can't have both
>>1622 Because the relationship is too tense and unfun these days to actually write or think about, it’s lost all its charm it once had. Also beretta and Jane have become two completely different and incomparable characters at this point
>>1421 >As you walk forward you come across a marble statue. >Said statue if of some JCJ suit, you didn’t really read the plaque next to it. >There’s nothing significant about this. Hell, even NT wouldn’t do anything like this. >You then turn around and start walking backwards towards the statue >You ‘innocently’ whistle as you stop right next to it and the ‘innocently’ look around, arms behind your back as you tap your foot. >In an instant you turn around and slash the statue through the torso with the energy cutlass. >For a moment nothing happens which disappoints you but then hear the sound of grinding stone. >The torso slides down slowly until it can’t support itself anymore as it falls down. >One of the arms detaches itself and the top of the statue’s head cracks open. >You crouch down next to the torso and slightly slap its face.
“Uhhh, you okay there? Would you like some water? Waaaater?”
>You stand up and chuckle at your shitty joke. >You then resume walking around. >The whole place is just filled with JCJ paraphernalia, products, statues of JCJ suits and all kinds of other crap which you take childish glee in smashing. >Screw JCJ and screw for what it stands. Bastards deserve it and their products also suck. You ignore the fact that you were manufactured by JCJ. Eugh. >As you keep smashing stuff without care, you stop the moment you notice a door with big fat STAFF ONLY lettering on it. >Hmm…what could it be? Museum storage? Maybe there’s something interesting back there.
>>1628 Wasn’t she always a lesbian, and wasn’t it beretta fans who wanted to do their own thing? If anything Beretta ran off to be a OP coldsteel demigod with severe projecting parental issues
>>1634 None of what you said was true and you're retarded for not reading the part where I said it was a joke. I'm going to automatically assume you're arguing in bad faith and I think people should ignore you
>>1573 she's so cute. this isn't a plausible design for Animatez-style figurine but i wanted to draw it anyway, the proportion is fun. bit more complicated to really match the simple charm of the figurines. i did like the Glitch Inn designs too, except for some of N's expressions. i don't hate it outright, just wasn't feeling some of it
>>1634 >Wasn’t she always a lesbian no never, not many people now a days care about jane's past… but something tells me no one cares anymore, shame to be honest, I liked that jane
>>1655 Absolutely nothing has changed about Jane from before until now except she has more lore explaining why she’s so sad and has another love interest then Eye to obsess over, but Eye still gets art and stories with Jane. Hell eye has more to do with Jane now then beretta funnily enough
>>1660 Eye just got something with John a few weeks ago, building to some massive reveals or something. Even with what little Eye is getting it’s more then Beretta in the last few months
Since the topic appears to be OCs I'm gonna share my scathing hot take! Getting into serious, drama-filled arguments over OCs is both kinda silly and REALLY stupid
>Ah, life on a backwater planet >Your outpost was situated in the ass-end of nowhere on a temperate, semi-populated world that wasn't important enough for a name >The outpost's population included 4 humans, 6 worker drones, and 1 disassembly drone >You didn't see many drones here, especially DDs and workers together, yet things were fine >Success was owed to your outpost's oil refinery >Liquid gold flowed through the land, a valuable trading commodity >It also attracted raiders, a pirate gang attack being the source of the bullets in your left arm and torso at the moment >The worst part about being part of the defense force was being shot at >One of your fellow humans, clad in power armor and wielding a minigun, unloads on some pirates and breaks their ranks, only for the disassembly drone to drop onto them and destroy them >"Lilah's a gem, ain't she?" your comrade asks >You groan out an affirmative, at which he scoffs >"I forgot how much of a bitch you turn into when you get shot." >Excusing yourself, you head for the infirmary, trying to hold back the pain >It'd be some time before the doctor was in, as she had to clean herself off, so you lounged on a hospital bed, hitting the call button next to it to let her know you needed help >You probably wouldn't bleed out before she got here, whenever that was- >The sound of metal feet crossing the halls at high speed reaches you, the door opening in a flash, and there she is >Lilah, the outpost's disassembly drone, and the best doctor on this planet >"Anon, you really need to stop getting shot," she jokes >"As much as I like having you here, we need to get you better armor. Show me the hurt." >You hold your bullet-stricken arm to Lilah and point to your side, and she carefully examines both >"Ah, this may take a while. Some of these wounds are deep, so this will hurt a lot. I'll anesthetize you, okay?" >You agree, and she fits a mask onto your face and has you breathe deep >"Sweet dreams, Anon!"
>>1669 >And like that, you're out, waking some time later in the same bed with a heavily bandaged arm and torso >Lilah was there, saying something with a smile, but you only heard vague noise >After you regain some coherence, you take stock of things >9 warped bullets were sitting in a tray next to you >You were bandaged as expected, yes, but also had stitches on your chest >You ask Lilah what that's about, since you didn't get shot there >She says something you can't understand, and you weakly stutter that you didn't catch that >It was going to be a little while before you recovered from the worst of the anesthesia, so there you lay as she watches you recover >Lilah comes into focus soon enough, her white hair tied in a long ponytail across her shoulder >She was wearing surgeon's scrubs for the operation, but normally she opted for an open blazer >One time, during a royal visit and spontaneous ball, she wore a beautiful ballgown and convinced you to dance with her >You hate the royals, but that night was worth putting up with them >You'd never had the courage to go any further, but you saw her in a new light that day >A master surgeon with a literal killer body... >Oh, right, the stitches! >You ask Lilah why your chest was worked on >"Oh, just in case, Anon. I wouldn't want to miss a bullet near your heart." >It would take a serious caliber and weird angle to get that close, something didn't add up >You give a weak nod, get up off the bed, and immediately stumble >"Oh, watch out, Anon!" she says as she grabs you and keeps you steady >Nodding, you carefully walk out of the infirmary, and to the security room >You were too curious >You pop out the disc recording the infirmary's camera feeds and take it to your room, falling over only once along the way >Your personal computer should be able to play it, but first you'd lay down on your bed for a while and wait for the world to stop spinning
>>1672 >Delays out of the way, you drag your ass out of bed and slot in the security disc >Fast-forwarding past an empty hospital, you finally reach the time of your operation >You two are talking, you get put under, and she gets to work once you stop responding >With expert precision, she carefully extracts the bullets, and you wince as you watch the process through ultra-fidelity camera >Blood trickles freely down your arm >"Oh, Anon..." she whispers >...and then she licks it off, her tongue trailing across each open wound as she laps up as much as she can >She holds a hand up to her mouth, making a pleased noise >"Amazing... maybe you should keep getting shot." >She squeezes your arm, allowing more blood to spill, and licks it up again, before stopping herself >"Lilah, Lilah... you're a professional." >After that harrowing departure, she's back into business mode, stitching up the holes and bandaging them, cleaning them properly, without her tongue >Then it's to the shots into your side, where she again can't control herself and sucks greedily at the wounds, chastising herself, and finishing up >You pause for a moment, feeling dizzy again despite the anesthetic having worn off >How were you supposed to feel about this? >Oh no, you hadn't even found the answer to the big question >You... had to keep watching >Once all the bullets are extracted and the wounds dressed, Lilah glances around warily, before kissing you on the forehead >When she did that at the ball you nearly started floating >Now it felt wrong >"You're still out for a few hours, what should I do with you, Anon, my dear?" >"I want to... oh, I couldn't, couldn't I? But..." >She paces, thinking, then turns decisively to you >"Just once. Just one time. I'll put you right back together with the good stuff." >You didn't need to see the rest to know where this was going, and yet... you've gone too far to turn back
>>1674 >Lilah cuts your chest open, making quick work of the delicate task >Watching her saw through your bones and open your ribcage makes you queasy, and seeing your exposed heart finally gets you to vomit >Why was the camera so high-quality? You didn't need detail >Lilah ogles your innards, making various noises of delight >Swapping to another camera to see her face in clearer view, her eyes have become an X >"Seeing you exposed like this... so vulnerable, makes me want to..." >She leans forward- no >Please no >Her tongue lolls out of her mouth, no no no >She slowly drags it across your heart, moaning as it beats against her tongue >She pulls back, then starts putting you back together >She wasn't lying, she was using "the good stuff" -- rare medicine from offworld -- to heal your bones near-instantly >You were too shocked to consider how much of a waste that was >You're sewn back together, stitched up, and the anesthetic gas is cut >Lilah watches you the entire time, waiting for you to wake up >"If only you knew how I loved every part of you, Anon..." >You close the video player, take out the disc, and smash it apart before puking several more times >Well, there you go, Anon >You were hoping Lilah felt a certain way about you, and it turns out she does, and so much more >You go back to lying on your bed, staring at the ceiling tiles, trying to stop thinking about any of this >Then your communicator goes off, a message from- from her >"Anon! I'm all done with work for today, would you like to hang out together? Just the two of us ;)" >Your blood hits sub-zero temperatures, your face going pale >It was the message you wanted to see for so long, but now it brought nothing but apprehension >What do you even say in this situation? Could you ever look at her again? >The flame you held for her was being battered by gale-force winds >She was beautiful, kind, and also crazy >Doormat that you are, you have to respond >"Haha sounds good" >Fuck

>>1682 Figured to do a thing with the Virus “J0y” >Little is known about the origins of the virus, it had simply appeared one day when a fairly new Labor Bot started displaying abnormal behavior until it fell over, internals fried and data unrecoverable >The virus has a near complete fatality rate of 95% to all of the machines she has infected, with the surviving ones never being the same and end up decommissioned anyway >J0y admits that she finds the destruction and suffering of the bots she’s infected “fun”, which seems to be a significant reason as to why she’s repeated this behavior >Anti-viruses have done little to halt her, and only seems to make her more determined and furious to infected Laborers. A phase of anti-virus software in a platoon of Laborers have resulted in 99% of the number to return decommissioned. >Appearance-wise, “J0y” has taken on the form of a feminine humanoid, her hands that end in long claws and what looks to be a dress on her person, though it’s undetermined if it really is one or just a trick of the eye. >Always grinning. >>1682 Hello Friend! Feels a little weird that I'm not the one who asked first. I'm doing good, feeling a little dizzy, I woke up some minutes ago and I'm ready to start the day, I'll try to write something since I didn't have time recently.
>>1691 Yeah it was definitely intended as Haruka just messing around as opposed to actually becoming an evil overlord. Although becoming an evil overlord with a power source than can turn on you at any minute probably wouldn’t be the worst idea someone had in the murder drones universe.
Out of curiosity what color is Aoi’s kimono(?) (I know very little about Japanese culture) supposed to be without the ghostly glow? Red and white? (Feel free to ignore the text bubble if it doesn’t match what you have planned for the stories, Akira was just the first Japanese name I could think of.)
>>1693 Why would I fight with someone I agree with?
>>1713 >Out of curiosity what color is Aoi’s kimono(?) (I know very little about Japanese culture) supposed to be without the ghostly glow? Ngl I didn't really think about that detail, but I guess red and white fits, mostly because it contrasts well with Haruka's dark green and black. Her eye colour would probably also be icy blue to contracts Haru's orange eyes (her actual eye colour when Aoi isn't inside her).
>>1716 I'm pretty sure the kimono's colour depends on what season they are, and motifs depend on the season or attributes of the wearer, no motifs tho, though I can't remember if red means youth or it was to ward of evil spirits, anyway, with those colours I think it's probable that she died in summer
>>1631 >You push the door’s handle but the door doesn’t bulge. >You give it a little bit more push and it finally opens, small ice particles gracefully falling down on the ground. >You’re in another hallway again but it’s much smaller in width. >There are doors on the side of the hallway, maybe this is some sort of office area? >As you move through the hallway you look at what’s behind the doors and, just as you guessed, it’s just offices and the occasional janitorial closet. >That is until you easily come across the museum manager’s office. >No, seriously. The door literally has a plaque that says ‘MUSEUM MANAGER’. >There’s even a framed document under the plaque. >”Stop trying to steal stuff from my office’s collection pretty please. I understand that all of you are underpaid with no actual benefits but this is still my collection. I could have you arrested if you try to make a quick buck very easily since laws don’t apply to rich folk like me. kthxbyebye – Manager” >You really gotta get inside there now. >You try the handle and…yep, won’t bulge. >You give it a strong push but it still doesn’t bulge and you could feel how serious the lock is. >Well, time to use your trusty little lockpick. And by lockpick you mean stabbing the lock with your cutlass. >You stab through the lock and you start twisting it around and around. >You pull it out of the lock then give the door another push. >Aaand…voala! Open sesame! Door opened!
>>1720 >You enter the office and…woah. He wasn’t kidding with that notice. >The office is pitch black with no windows but your cutlass is able to illuminate a tall glass shelf with antique looking stuff. >As you approach it, you get a better look at it. >The stuff looks old and by old you mean from the period around 21st to the 26th century. >As you keep walking around the office, you come across the various shelves with weaponry on them. >You ‘ooh’ as you stare at the shelf with bladed weaponry, various kinds of swords and knifes. >Some of the blades you’ve seen before but it’s still interesting. Katanas, longswords, kunais and--- >What is that? >On the top shelf, which you can’t reach, sits a strange looking sword. >It looks radically different from other designs you’ve seen. Doesn’t look like its of european or asian origin. >It’s got a very unusual shape, weird looking handle too. And the tip is nothing unlike you’ve seen before, there’s two hooks sticking out both ways from the top of the blade. >Jackpot.
>>1719 How big are we talking? iirc from the Q&A session with Liam a disassembly drone's armament assemblers can theoretically produce most any weapon they can think of. I know the meta-reason their arsenal seems fairly limited is because it would be a massive pain in the ass to get the assets and then animate a huge weapon library, but I still feel like there must be some kind of in-universe "soft limit" on how destructive a tool they can produce. You give someone like V the ability to produce literally any weapon she can dream of and the worker drone colony on Copper-9 wouldn't have lasted 20 minutes because she'd have dreamt up some kind of gamma ray-accelerated graviton cannon and used it to crush the entirety of Outpost 3 and a significant portion of the planet's crust into a fine powder.
>>1724 Aoi & Tessa sloppy makeout session and Haruka notices and peeps at them from around the door as they explore each other, becoming more and more aroused by the display, before J comes up from behind her and and playfully chastises her for being a peeping tom, before making her own advances toward Haruka, the two duos, drone and human, finding passion with each other's bodies, all without ever knowing the others were there

Hello there, I'm writing that love triangle of male Doll, male Uzi and Anon I said some time ago, and for how things are going, I think this will end with 8k+ words, minimum I think. I just wrote a little draft of the start and a road to see what to do in what order, and this looks like it's going to be long, do you guys like long fics? I was thinking of making the fic in parts since I don't want to take 2 moths to write and share this stuff like last time, or if that doesn't seem to be good, maybe just make it a green, I don't know for now.
>>1726 I would assume two things, the weapon has to be small enough to emerge from the end of their arm, even if it requires a bit of folding to do so, and it's destructive potential is limited by what their singularity core can produce. For example missile launchers can clearly fire volleys, but not a nonstop machinegun spray of missiles, there must be limits to how much matter a core can manufacture in a given time. Their lasers and EMP weapons clearly need time to charge, so there must also be a limit to how much energy the core can generate, either bounded by heat or bounded by the core itself.
>>1790 I don't think people mind longer stories any more than short ones, but I don't know what the thread thinks. I also can't write anything but long, so I'm biased.
>>1785 >Upload J0y to a blank drone body AKA drone that hasn't been programmed yet. >Clang her until she calms down and stops destroying labour bots and drones. They cost money.
>>1797 I wrote the AC/Anon trucking greentext, which I should really get off my ass and upload to the booru. I just need to split the image into every post, which will take a while.
>>1811 >Anon & Fugue-drone finish >Anon goes to leave >notices something in his back pocket >a usb with a label >'you'll take responsibility, won't you?.EXE' >he turns back to Fugue-drone, still splayed out on the bed >;) >
>>1817 >/hmomf/ -> I got no clue Mistyped it, it was /hmodm/ I guess I can figure what it means >/h9k/ -> parody version of /r9k/ but for worker drones. No idea what /r9k/ is used for
You’re an Oogi and your hive has given you the duty of going on an adventure to summon the mysterious Cthulhuanon for help with their dwindling food supplies. Your bugretta is very hungry, and you must travel the dark places between here and Cthulhuanons goon cave (oogi room-living room-kitchen-V cat room-Goon cave) what will you do on your magnificent journey and how will you get Cthulhuanons attention?
>>1822 Oogis are such greedy bastards who give all their food to their Boogis that the second you give them food, they give it all to her, then they act like their populace will starve and they can’t wait the 30 minutes it would take for you to come back with some more food. At least the V cat remains fed this way

>>1722 Yeah, I did actually have some ideas to have them interact since they are both undead and stuff. However, I don’t want to hijack the other guy’s work and break the established lore of Takahagamara by having them interact.
>>1723 >>1727 I seriously don’t know what you are expecting from a ghost and a skeleton but considering all the other stuff that has been posted throughout the threads I shouldn’t be surprised by this.
>>1457 >That one worker drone at the office has been getting clingier and clingier for weeks now >Today, she followed you home >You're freaking out >You only just managed to lock the doors before she could get in >She's been out there for hours, trying to find a way in
>"I can do this all day and night, Anooooon~"
>And assuring you of her infinite patience >After all, you will have to come out sooner or later >Enough of this, you're calling the cops >They say they're dispatching someone to resolve the situation immediately >You spend another few minutes listening to the worker drone's deluded ramblings about "uppies" and "clanging" and "long, stable, committed marriage" before you finally peak out the window and see the squad car pulling up >The officer steps out and it's....a drone? >Oh, a -disassembly- drone. Perfect. Worker drones are terrified of disassembly drones. She'll have this sorted in no time and you'll never have to see this worker drone again AND IS THAT A BATTERING RAM SHE'S CARRYING?!?!
>You can barely leap to your feet in panic before your front door is violently thrown clean off of it's hinges and the worker drone comes scurrying in milliseconds later through the cloud of splinters >The cop-drone salutes the pair of you as the worker drone pounces on you
>"No need to thank me citizen, just doing my job."
>>1828 This isnt to say I dont like Oogis(far from it, I adore them), but at a certain point they dont really feel like Uzi anymore. Has anyone ever thought of ways to bridge the gap and make them feel more like Uzi in some ways? Or am I missing the joke, and its suppose to be >What if Uzi was small, cute, more gremlin like, and not as mean
>>1828 Just start writing about Predator Oogis or Alpha ones. Those ones resemble both sides of Uzi, her gremliness being the Alpha's sole personality and the Predator being her craftyness and..."anger" issues
>>1792 That makes sense. The missile launchers may represent the upper limit of shot-for-shot destructive potential for an individual DD then. >Bounded by heat Goddammit it's Battletech all over again.
>>1831 Considering it's a Gremlins reference wouldn't the Predators be also Gremlinish? So it would ultimately just be tiny primitive Uzi's >>1835 I thought that was kind of the point, they're weird animals that only somewhat resemble the originals. Beretta's though got kinda screwed it's a fat wiggly little sausage thing that doesn't do anything really
>>1829 I don't see any issues, free girlfriend. >>1836 >Beretta got screwed I'd argue that thing is actually living better than she is, atleast it knows it's loved. And you know something I'm willing to bet? If Beretta was giving your generic DD body she would be represented completely different. I mean think about it, Emily didn't get much attention until someone brought her back and remade her as a Disassembly Drone. People go nuts for those things

>>1457 And done. Honestly I didn't expect to go this deep with such an idea and the wild direction it went in, but hey when inspiration hits, better to just go with the flow.
Now for some bio. >a DD from an alternate universe where humanity, despite the odds, managed to pull victory from the jaws of defeat and vanquished the Solver >works as a cop along with her human partner Conners in a town that resembles the old world’s Los Angeles >serious, no bullshit forward personality on the exterior, but with a clear hint of sassines underneath; when off the hook, she's much more self indulgent, consuming any alcohol she finds in the police station (which is basically her home); cake is like cocaine to her >despite this, she's still a harsh abider of rules and arguably the most devoted member of her station to her job, with a track record of 90% solved cases, even taking on the role of a pseudo detective in many of them >because she's a man made DD, she doesn't have a need to consume oil, but can still be prone to overheating if she pushes herself too much, which can result in her system going into a temporary shutdown to prevent any internal damage, resulting in her freezing in place >her having two tails isn't seen as weird at all, in fact it's the standard with police department DDs
>>1845 And now some info on this new continuity that I had zero plans to even make, but I had fun coming up with.
>despite doing the impossible and defeating an outer dimension entity, humanity still lost Earth, along with the Proxima, Gemini and Oxyd systems, but with there no longer being a mini black hole where Earth once was and not wanting to abandon their original solar system, humanity terraformed Mars and it's now currently the new capital planet of their civilization >thanks to the Solver's actions and hundreds of leaked documents, new heavier restrictions had been put on Drone production and commercialization along with the dissolving of JCJ(is), and yet, the new superpower in robotics (a company simply known as Anderson & Builders of the Future or ABF for short) chose to adopt the Disassembly Drone model into their production line as an “elite” model to be used in more high risk jobs like law enforcement, rescue and firefighting and of course, war. >DD replication wasn't easy at all, especially knowing that they couldn't use Solver based cores anymore (since anything JCJ related was outlawed and destroyed), so a lot of creative thinking had to be involved, from self replicating nanites to reality splinter based storage technology; these models are still a far cry from the Solver based DDs, with a regeneration factor that lasts several hours instead of minutes and decapitation now being fatal >unlike most other machines, DDs have an adaptive AI above the permitted level, mostly because of their much more complex and riskier jobs that require a higher level of creative thinking and threat assessment, which does result in them being allowed to develop unique personalities; they're still heavily monitored and will sometimes be subjugated to memory wipes just to make sure they don't fall out of line, and if all goes wrong, they have a self destruct protocol that'll automatically cause a fatal error to occur and their bodies to explode immediately after >thanks to how expensive they're to make unlike the mass produced WDs and all the laws and regulations involved in their workplaces, it is outlawed for humans to treat them like shit (for the most part) and easily disposable like other types of drones, which has resulted in friction between the two factions, DDs getting the nickname “the state's special children” and other derogatory terms, not helped by the already existing resentment reminiscent from the days of the Solver Wars and the historical footage of DDs consuming humans and destroying entire cities >DD designations are much more complex than just the one letter ones the Solver made, starting with a letter, but then followed by the date of production, the area and the series they were part of, so in Carmen's case her full name would be SD - C-12-6-3548-A9-71GGL; most tend to adopt human names, however, since no one wishes to pronounce the absolute mouthfuls some of their serial designations can get >unsurprisingly, WDs are still treated like less than dirt, by both humans and DDs, and arguably even worse now after all that had happened, advanced adaptive AI being prohibited from being used in WD production; although many have pointed out the hypocrisy of WDs not being allowed advanced AIs, while DDs are, despite them being based on the Solver’s creations, but ABF has mostly swept these accusations under the rug, totally not because of them viewing DDs as the perfect multi use product for the tasks WDs are too fragile to perform
>>1846 Also, for refences sake, since she did spawn from some HoDR discussion, you can still use her in that kind of setting like >>1829, this is just my little autistic continuity I might start exploring since my ass loves some buddy cop and detective action.
>>1839 >Emily didn't get much attention until someone brought her back and remade her as a Disassembly Drone. I don't know about that. Her getting put in a DD body was one of the later greentexts, and it came about because people had already fallen in love with the fanon-version of the character and were sad that she was dead. iirc her coming back and accidentally getting a disassembly drone chassis was because people already liked her enough that they wanted her to have something nice for a change.
>>1839 > If Beretta was giving your generic DD body she would be represented completely different. I mean think about it, Emily didn't get much attention until someone brought her back and remade her as a Disassembly Drone. People go nuts for those things What? What are you talking about? Are you saying that if Beretta was a DD Bugrettas would be better? Or that if she was a DD suddenly the world would change to like her more? How? Are you saying that if Beretta was a DD she'd be more uber popular then she already is? Emily was popular before she was a DD for a short time, and is more popular as a regular drone who loves human men. Just say you want Beretta as a DD to jerk off to, none of this makes any sense
>>1845 >>1846 >>1849 Hell, I wish I had your autism and enthusiasm for shit like this. I barely even have a proper framework for the crap I was coming up with regarding police variants of DDs. Honestly I think I should just scrap Team "Squabbling Children" and focus on what I could actually do.
>>1860 You can still try to give it a shot since the name made me intrigued. >>1722 Aoi might've been a bit of a drone sympathizer, but I imagine she'd be a bit freaked out by Tessa's "eccentricism", but eventually warm up to her after meeting the mansion drones. Their fathers would probably try to get them in good terms for business purposes, though, maybe Elliott more than Mr Kazamino. >>1826 Btw, I really like these little comics, keep up the good work mate. And you are correct, Aoi's mostly invisible to the public unless she willingly manifest as a hologram from Haruka, but she'd still appear as a weird static blur in the air to machines, mostly around Haruka, since they'd still be able to detect her charged particle matter. Since Sketessa's an Undead, she'd definitely see her in her entirety.
>>1864 Why are you bringing this here and repeating the same thing you said there. Your newfag excuse doesnt even work since its about OCs that are super old, how would a newfag even know enough about them to complain
>>1867 I floated an idea for a prequel series in >>1177 I'd be all over a MD prequel. They've managed to create a setting that's got a lot of implied depth and intrigue to it even before the events of the present and I feel it merits exploration if they can scrape together the cash to do it.
>>1869 It'd probably just end up being mediocre in execution at best. Terrible at worst. Aight. Enough griping from me. Look forward to seeing more Carmen. And Haruka and Aoi.
>>1872 I'd be interested in that although I'm unsure if Liam would be able to write such a thing himself. It would probably be easier to transfer to a comic format
>>1875 Speaking of Liam. You know what would be interesting to see? A collection of short stories that take place in the Murder Drones universe written by different people other than Liam
>>1867 I know it's a brainlet take, but I don't like prequels. I wouldn't be able to stop thinking "yeah, but they're all going to explode and none of this really matters".
>>1877 >Short story 1 >Everyone is Dead on Earth >Short story 2 >Everyone but people on Copper-9, are dead >Short story 3 >Okay so what if there was a drone and [repeat Episode 4, 5, or 2 but from the perspective of one of the drones who die] >Short story 4 >okay so what if there was a human and [repeat Mitch] theres not really a lot of wiggle room if im being honest
>>1878 But of course, my good Anon. >>1879 True, but a Prequel series could shed light on things not really elaborated on. Although I'm curious as to what you would rather see then
>>1880 Anon...you do know you can set the story at literally any other time period right? You can set it years before the actual show and make it take place on a different planet or you can make it be a about a different Drone living in the outpost. Don't be silly
>>1875 >>1877 I feel like there's a lot of potential in print for this series in general. You could have comics playing with side stories that we didn't see in the show, short stories told in other parts of the universe would be cool. If there's a master design document like the Doom Bible or something with a lot of backstory and setting details in it I'd love to see it published someday. Likewise a book of concept art or a visual encyclopedia exploring details of the setting that aren't directly plot relevant but are still interesting, etc.
>>1886 But we know Cyn was the first host, even the Zombie tape confirms this as it uses her Drone ID. There werent any solver sillies before Cyn, so im not sure what youd focus on other then repeating the drone abuse we already saw at the gala or writing a bunch of feel good stories that dont fit the MD mood where humans treat the drones nicely
>>1889 This >>1891 Cyn is the first host that was allowed to go full Avatar-of-a-Dark-God, but they had absolutely encountered various flavors of Solver-fuckery before, that's why JCJ was murdering whistleblowers in their ranks and the government passed legislation mandating that you destroy drones in a way that heads off zombie drone-ism.
>>1891 >Potentially hazardous mutations More likely refers to the mutations solver inflicted drones get, like the bat wings and weird red organic flesh then there being other Hosts we for some reason dont know of and never heard about
>>1894 I wasn't talking about other hosts. I was talking about Solver stuff in general. The point is that you can write stuff about mutated drones and abominations on pre-Solver Earth.
>>1894 This is just me, but I think there must have been hosts prior to Cyn that no one ever heard about because they were nipped in the bud before they started getting too weird. Tessa and her gentle nurturing of zombie drones in an environment where the only authority was a pair of stuffed-shirt douchebags who felt the rules didn't apply to them and weren't terribly interested in anything their daughter was doing outside of what they wanted of her seems like a rather unique situation, one where a ZD with the potential to become a full Solver host could last long enough for full possession to happen. With the way most people treat drones, it seems like the typical response to a non-mutant zombie drone would have been something like "damn it, who didn't dispose of their drone properly? send this yappy toaster to the disassembly bay immediately before we get in trouble", and thus the potential host would have been dismantled well before it got a chance to learn their powers or become a full-blown host.
>>1895 But we see that the Solver destroyed the Gala and then almost immediately destroyed earth, unless you want to write a short story in universe about how people got almost immediately vaporized. The JCJ zombie tapes came from the CFL where they were doing tests so they didnt get immediately vaporized, but we already have mitch for that. Wouldnt it just be easier to write OCs about what you want that can just ignore canon to a certain extent then worrying about writing short stories in universe where they either >A, wouldnt make sense or >B. dont fit the mood/are that interesting it would be like making a Friday the 13th film before Pamela decided to kill people and just after Jason drowned, so its a bunch of nervous camp counselors but nothing ends up happening
>in the kitchen >cookin bruekkfust >your N just chillin at the dining table >staring at you >… >kinda looks like something’s bothering him >he just… watches you while you cook >… >finally ask him if he’s doing okay >”oh, um, well… c-can i… uhh…?” >”huh?” >he instantly regrets it but he can’t go back now >”can i… d-do, something…?” >”what do you mean” >his face is flushed bright yellow >”a… uh, to you…?” >“okay” >”a-are you sure, cause it’s kinda, uhhh…” >”do what you want to me N” >he thinks about it for a second >”…okay!” >before you can even blink he’s mounting you and desperately humping you through his pajamas >tfw you have to go wash your N’s pajamas now
>>1900 I read that more as an interesting transition then an actual part of the story, it wouldnt make sense for a TV to be on like that anyways and we know N was just watching that tape and its his memory. The tape is clearly about Cyn, it has her worker ID as its baseline for zombie drones. Why would a tape be talking about solver drones before Cyn was even a solver?
>>1901 I don't think there's a hard timeline. I was thinking that it must have taken a few years seeing as it took a few years for the DD's on Copper-9 to construct enough corpse-spires to be ready to move on to the next phase in the plan. Since we see "Tessa" huddled up in that photo of the manor post-massacre I figured that there was still some need for the Solver to keep its host on the DL for a little while until it was ready to go balls out and start sending swarms of murder drones at people. The presence of the attack helicopter in that flashback suggests that it at least took enough time for an organized military response to happen.
>>1909 How do you know he died at the Gala And why would they show a person who looks like James, has James exact hat, and it not be James. Why would Liam whos so anal about these things give a generic human the exact same outfit and design as James just for it not to be James
>>1910 Hell another part of this people dont talk about for some reason is that in N's flashback its still raining just like it was at the Gala. So hes eating a guy who looks just like James, and its raining just like it was, and were suppose to believe this isnt the same day? Why?
>>1912 Another Another thing, during the events of the Gala we see the exact same Null ring in N's flashback start to appear, and you expect me a giant black hole appears above earth and it holds out for years? You really cant convince me N's flashback of Earths end and the Gala dont take place on the same day, too many things add up
>>1910 Everyone at the gala was dressed like that. In the year 3000 everyone decided that the Victorian era was the height of class and civilization the same way everyone in the colonial period decided that ancient Rome was the style they needed to go for in their architecture.
>>1910 Everyone but Tessa died at the gala, supposedly, she could have died and the image was not real But anyway, Liam doesn't animate nothing here, probably an animator took any male human model and it happens the have the same hat as James ,because the only recognisable feature is the hat, the body I can't say it looks the same
>>1919 Okay? So it just so happens to rain again exactly like this, has him eating the some guy who looks exactly like James who died during an event where it was thundering and a giant null ring appeared over the world. Its not impossible that they decided for some reason, but theres also nothing saying the earth actually went on the offense for that long other then you wanting to feel like the obviously underpowered earth could go against the solver for a long time while there was a black hole in the sky. Hell Khan says in episode 7 that its the end of the world when Cyn gets here way eventually during the events of the show, which is less then what she did to the gala, so why is it that Copper 9 is a near instant end of the world shattering scenario but somehow the Gala which had the exact same circumstances of her making a spire and assumedly a hole and the large blinding yellow flash plus ground shaking (given what we see in the Tessa photo there's flesh everywhere just like in the mines) but somehow none of this matters and Earth held out for a few years because ???. Where do you guys even get your information, do you watch the show and apply what it says or just accept what other people tell you from months ago before we had more information?
>>1926 >Long ass paragraph I like covering all my bases. TLDR: We have no information of the timeline between Gala, what happened to the characters there other then "they died" and N's flashback. While not impossible for it being a different time, too much of the information we see in N's flashback heavily hint that it takes place right after the gala massacre.
>>1927 You yourself said we don't have enough info, you as much as me, areaking assumptions, that can't really be proved unless told or hinted at in the moment or future, there is really no moment where they really just confirm anything about the timeline really
>>1917 >Everyone but Tessa died at the gala Yeah. I don't understand why the Solver would have N fly James' corpse all the way into the heart of a random city potentially miles away from the manor instead of just massacring everyone in the room and rolling on. Plus, we never see any other ready-to-deploy DD's in episode 5, and the implication I got from the episode 7 flashback was that it was taking place after the Solver had built up its disassembly drone army and launched a full scale attack. It would have needed time to do that.
>>1898 (me) >later that evening >be N >in the kitchen >cookin din din >your blonde and pink haired human just chillin at the dining table >staring at you >… >lookin kinda evil ngl >she just… watches you while you cook >… >finally ask her if she’s good >”can i uhhh…” >oh no. revenge >”yeah? i-i mean, yeah as in keep talking, not yeah as in like, you can, b-but i’m sure whatever it is you can do it, of course, and i-i didn’t mean to sound rude by telling you to keep talking, well i’m not really telling you what to do it’s not like that i just—“ >”N” >”okay sorry” >”nono it’s okay i love it when you ramble i just had to stop you there” >[: >“so uhhh, what is it you wanted to like, do or something…?” >she taps her fingers together anxiously >”it’s kindaaa…” >”actually nahhh just go ahead, you don’t have to tell me what it is, it’ll be a surprise! :]” >”…really?” >”yeah cmon little buddy just do it!” >she thinks about it for a second >”…alrighty” >before you can even blink your innards are external >tfw you have to go stuff all your organs back inside of you
>>1933 James is clearly already dead, could be used as fuel. The other drones are eating people, also it’s just “potentially” miles away. Could be right next to it, we have zero information on this at all.
>>1940 the reason i think about N suffering in the first place is cause it activates the part of my heart that wants to comfort him and love him same for obsessing over his internal organs and vital functions and stuff like that it makes him seem soft and vulnerable, which i love
>>1939 Okay so I’m wrong about the hat just being James, I’ll admit it. But still even you have to admit that design is mostly attributed as James, if I was to draw a shadow guy in a top hat next to N would you immediately assume it’s just a generic dude or the one most associated with N and tophats? We can’t know for sure, but it makes more sense from a story telling and pathos perspective for the specific top hat wearing corpse N is eating to be James.
>>1944 Weird, seeing stuff like that with V activates the part of my heart that feels pain, sadness and the feeling of impotence. I already feel like I want to hug her, protect her and make her happy, so I don't see how that helps to that. I already see her as a damaged individual, with a psychopath mask, but is still soft and vulnerable inside. You are very interesting Friend.
>>1951 It's interesting, the femanon and femdrone are equally damaged individuals but they don't do stuff that similar, one wants to cause physical pain while the other emotional Nfags are a weird bunch
>>1949 your love for V is very based friend :] >>1951 well i don’t TRULY want to be the reason N is sad or hurt, i would be absolutely devastated that feeling i described, activating the part of my heart that wants to comfort and love N? it’s a form of sadness, but i love it
>>1948 NGL the impression I got was that the tophat had re-emerged from history as the standard of dress for men of the era. Or at least the well-to-do.
>>1954 Thank you Friend. You are very interesting, and I hope you wells and to see your interesting creativity. This just made me remember once many Friends said I was the most normal Anon here.
I will have sex with V, J, N, Tessa, Cyn, the Solver, Lizzy, Doll, Kahn, James, Louisa, Anon, WD!Anon, Yeva, Nori, the ship, the teacher, specially Thad, and everyone else
>The Solver is destroyed >All hosts lose their ability to use the Solver as a result >Uzi is now just a normal Drone >However there has been a nasty side effect for Disassembly Drones >Due to losing their connection to The Solver entirely they lose their immortality as well as their ability to even use their wings, weapons or strength >Billions of Disassembly Drone fall dead from old age
>>1967 Yes but machines can break down from intense use. Now imagine a machine that has been running and gunning without proper care for hundreds of years
>>1980 I'm not a drawfag and I have no clue how to draw Eanon created the Labor bots originally. I just made up the lore about them having limited memory, the lorebook, and the Archiver. He just drew the Archiver recently. And while she looks different than I envisioned her, I am very happy that he drew her.
>>1985 You're forgetting the full title, it's The Femanon: Conqueror Of Copper-9, Slayer Of Uzi, Enslaver Of N, Eater Of Organs, Lord Of Plague, The Hand Which Draws Fate
>>1948 >that design is mostly attributed as James You were already shown that isn't true, and n=1 is hardly grounds for certainty anyway. And given that in Episode 5 we saw J shut the door, with Temmer confirming a high degree of intentionality in how that was animated, implying that nobody (and Episode 7 puts emphasis on 'nobody') got out of that intact, it's more or less the case that James and everyone else were killed in that room.
>>1903 >,it wouldnt make sense for a TV to be on like that It's a framing device, like in the Fallout 1 opening. In both cases, the event (tv randomly switching on) probably didn't happen, but the information conveyed is still probably reliable. >its his memory. It's a memory-simulation. Which is why Uzi and Solver are there and can react, and why in the basement we see N staring at his own beheaded body. And why we see scenes that N could not possibly have knowledge of, and why they move from the darkened, overgrown library back into the vibrant gala. >The tape is clearly about Cyn, it has her worker ID 'CYN-MYKX' is the product number for that overall line of worker drones (look at J's in Episode 2). The specific one on Cyn's armband was scratched out, which is why everyone just called her Cyn.
>>1990 >If I can do whatever Play the long game towards making HODR real. >If I'm still expected to end the universe Things are going well enough as-is.
>>2004 A really REALLY old looking labor bot. One that looked heavily worn down, with multiple cables from the charging station stuck into her that keep her online. Kinda like the robot equivalent of life support. I always imagined her as having little artifacts or other glitches on her screen to show how old her electronics really are. I was thinking about trying to add some audio glitches to her dialogue too, but I figured it might be too hard to portray correctly. If you are Eanon you don't have to change it or anything, I think your design and the lore behind it is great.
>>2006 >If you are Eanon you don't have to change it or anything, I think your design and the lore behind it is great. Yeah, it was me asking. I haven’t done a full body yet and some of your ideas are actually what I thought of too.
Such as the Archiver being rooted to where she stands with wires and her charging port on her.
>>2023 >Serial Designation N's remains were found approximately five hours after this photo was taken, disemboweled in a drainage canal adjacent the highway, with no clothes save for his hat, which had been forcefully stuffed roughly halfway down his esophagus. >>2052 I kind of feel like Mitchell became who John was to these threads. John still has the uniqueness of being confused for a drone, but Mitchell kind of stole all of the energy for seeing a human male with the cast.
>>2060 >Mitchell and John reuniting in the outpost (somehow Mitchell survived, don't take him away from me) >John gets the first genuine smile he's had in years, as he gives his best bro the secret handshake >The two then have to play it off to keep John's disguise intact >Good thing Mitchell's the quickest thinker alive, and John's somehow a master of deception

>>1869 I am glad you ended up liking the comic. However, I am afraid that black comedy is much easier to write than girls having a good time with each other.
Regarding their fathers making them meet each other, Tessa would likely have been much older than Aoi since the gala massacre and the core collapse probably didn’t happen in the same week. The 15-20 years I am going with hear may already be on the low side based on what some people have been speculating. (I am making up dates and ages as I go along myself too, so feel free to retcon/ignore them if they don’t fit your story.)
In case you are wondering why Tessa turned out to be such a bitch in the “good” timeline check out >>551 and >>553.
Before proper disassembly protocols were put in place, drone disposal was done by simply tossing them into the nearest trash chute (placed all over the facility for your convenience) Where do these old chutes go? Not even management knows.
>>2063 >somehow Mitchell survived, don't take him away from me *mitchell and yeva ITS NOT REAL IF IT DIDNT HAPPEN ON SCREEN IF NORI AND DOLL CAN SURVIVE 'DYING' SO CAN YEVA
...actually, they are probably going to pull this shit with Uzi

>>1721 >You put your cutlass down on the ground and crouch down. >You can make some pretty impressive jumps thanks to your military-grade motors. grabbing onto that shelf and taking the weird looking sword should be easy enough. >Just a little more and… >You leap into the air and make a reach for the shelf--- >WHAM >You hit your head against the ceiling and fall back down on your metallic ass, your cap falling off your head. >You sit there surprised as you look up. >You can see a large dent and cracks on the ceiling. >Okay, maybe that was a bit too good of a jump. You’re gonna have to do this delicately. >You shake your head, stand up and dust yourself off then put your cap back as you prepare for another jump. >You crouch down again, careful not to use too much force. >You leap once again into the air, reach for the shelf and… >You grab onto it as your body slams into the shelf, causing everything to share as you hand on. >You then reach out for the funky looking sword with your hand, the other hand pulling you up and supporting you to not fall off. >You grab it and give it a good look until you hear creaking. >What was that? >You look down as you hear more creaking. Are you moving closer to the ground? >It is at this point you realize that, yes, the shelf is gonna fall on top of you. >A loud crash is heard as you hold onto the shelf as the entire weapons rack of bladed weapons falls on you. >Bent aluminum pipes, glass and weapons cover you. >You push them off as you pull yourself upwards and look at the mess you made.
“抵死. (Damn it.)”
>Great work, you just trashed priceless artifacts thanks to your incompetence. >You look around for your energy cutlass and see it underneath some of the weapons. >You carefully push them off as you grab it off the floor then look at your other hand holding the funky looking blade. >You use the cutlass to illuminate the sword and examine it. >Not only is it’s unusual shape interesting, the patterns are interesting as well. They’re not Damascus patterns but hand-carved. >Someone clearly spent lots of time making this.
>”[GIGGLE] Don’t you have a more important task than this?”
>>2072 I believe in a good ending for John, where he accepts the new world and our little ape of suffering finds his own happiness. But only after plenty of black comedy and pain. Running into Mitchell, learning he's got a thing with a drone from the labs, and that they made the world only half-die instead of get destroyed entirely, might seriously fracture his cynicism. Not enough for him to suddenly go "Now I realize that these stupid-ass drones are just as deserving as life as all of my friends and family who were slaughtered in front of me!", obviously, but a step is a step.
>>2082 TD;LR I hardly ever have any ideas for writing in general and i like pictures more than words.
Writing isn't nearly as motivating as Art in all regards. I like to draw much more because i've seen obvious improvement over the months i've been making pieces. Being able to see the progress and the objective quality of my work feels alot better than the vagueness of writing.
>>2077 John very cautiously putting his head on a sleeping eye (whose head is laying on his lap) and petting it Other drones see this and want him to give them pats as well
>>2087 >Being able to see the progress and the objective quality of my work feels alot better than the vagueness of writing. Shit, all I can do is write and that's how I feel. I'll leave the doomposting aside and say that >>2073 looks great, keep it up.
>>2084 oouu… i can fix that >>2086 what kind of happy? if he’s peaceful and relaxed, his heart should beat slow… if he’s excited, though, then a faster pulse makes sense, but what excites him in his sleep?

>>2103 John fucking a drone is the endgame. Once he does that, there's no going back. Even the various deaths he's died aren't as permanent of an ending as him getting hitched to a robot.
In all seriousness, I'd imagine his libido is completely shot given the circumstances he's in. I can't imagine John in a sexual scenario. Even saying "he might have swiped an adapter to use as a sleeve" feels wrong.
>>2108 >"You are a sad, strange little woman. I bid your cervix farewell."
>With the power of an edgy 2005 anime swordsman, John fucks Jane in one swift move before pulling out, cleaning himself up and getting dressed in a matter of microseconds. >JOHN-MENT NUT: PITY
>>2081 i JUST realized it says seconds. not minutes. this has happened before, where i say something schizophrenic about N’s heart and another anon chimes in with “[number] beats per second,” and every time i read it as minutes. me saying >>2083 “that’s a bit fast!” wasn’t me being a smart ass i legit was thinking “oh hmm well, 80 BPM is a bit fast for a sleeping heart rate, especially for a tall, adult fella like N” (because obviously i am the Expert) and i was wondering why anon said that number specifically. but yeah. 80 beats per SECOND. i see now. “You do know I don’t like talking to you, yes?”
>”I am aware of that. [SMILE.] But I still like talking with one of my favorite puppets.”
“Puppet? If you take a good look I’m still in control. Like, I’m not part of your collective consciousness or wherever you keep clones of your disassembler.”
>The maid takes a step forward towards you and takes your hand holding your cutlass into hers as she caresses it.
>”[GRAB. CARESS.] Not for long.”
“是的,對。(Yeah, right.)
>You scoff as you snatch your hand away from her and walk past her as you head for the office’s door.
>”[IMPATIENT TONE.] You didn’t answer my question.”
>You stop in your tracks and bite your non-existent lips. >As much as you hate that…thing, it’s nice having a proper conversation with someone. >Might was well humor her. You turn back to the maid drone.
”I’d like to take a break from time to time. Have some mental stimulation by reading books or listening to music. Have some leisure time. I guess that’s a foreign concept to you considering what you are.”
>”[SMUG SMILE.] I have all the time in the universe, little pupper.”
“Really? All the time yet you’re hell hellbent on destroying said universe. Call me a hater or whatever but you really need better hobbies.”
>”Murdering drones in the most brutal ways is a better hobby? [RAISE EYEBROW.]
“If you mean the disassemblers they deserve it. You created them and their nature and existence means they can’t be left to live. They deserve to die, all of them with every single one no matter how much they plead their case or if they have their memories.”
>The maid, in an instant, reappears in front of you in a yellow flash. >She then stares into your visor. Even if technically you don’t have eyes, and neither does she, you can see the soullessness behind her visor, the void as it stares back at you.
>”You and them are not so different. To eat and survive, ignoring the moral repercussions. In every sense you and them are the same with some…[HEAD TILT. THINKING.]…minor differences.
>You yell at her face.
“You think I asked for this?! For what you did to me?!”
>”[NARROWING EYES.] You didn’t uphold your end of our deal. You had to be punished.”
“你同你嘅交易見鬼去吧!(To hell with you and your deal!) Fuck you and fuck whatever you stand for!’
>You angrily huff as you turn back towards the door and begin walking. >Just as you make a right turn to make it back to the museum proper you hear her call out to you.
>”[LOUD SHOUT.] You have guests!”
>Wait what? >Guests? What does she--- >… >Oh. >Disassemblers.
“Fuck!”
>You begin sprinting down as fast as you can down the hallway.
>>2154 This is a Murder Drones thread so I won't deep dive here but Doomguy from the original games is the same as the guy from Nu-Doom. The timeline is thus >Doom >Doom 2 >Final Doom (TNT/Plutonia) >Doom 64 (having defeated the demons once again, Doomguy decides to just remain in Hell forever, wandering between different planes of existence, fighting demons forever, to prevent them from rising again) >(Cutscene shit: Doomguy eventually ends up in the realm of Argent D'nur and is recruited by their army. They put him in the Divinity Machine and give him the bullshit powers he has from here forward) >Doom: The Dark Ages (not released yet) >Doom 2016 >Doom Eternal >Ancient Gods DLC's
Doom 3 is actually the game that exists in its own timeline.
>>2155 He was a beast but still a human, and that's what we are talking about. Damn, I wished I was like Doom Guy, in power at least, not in history, I don't want that kind of trauma and PTSD.
>>2156 I was sure the new Doom Guy wasn't the same Doom Guy as the old games, like it was some weird shit that they end up being so similar but not the exact same person. Yeah, sorry, I'm starting to taking things off-track, cutting this shit now.
I'm hearing eurobeat and I just imagined a drone that his only dream is to fix a car and makes the most sick drifts you have ever seen, that's all his dream, that's all he wants to do in life, and goes in expeditions taking metal and cart parts little by little to make a car.
>>2138 what would it take for switch to at least tolerate disassemblers? disassemblers didnt ask to be turned into what they are so it seems she just hates them for a very loose reason
>>2190 It's still around. Got a major boost with the kids thanks to a Friday Night Funkin' mod, so that's why you'll be seeing it again. It also got a game on Steam, which is neat. >>2194 Cut it out.
Is the anon who said he was going to write the AnonXBoyziXMale!Doll actually doing it because I really need more Boyzi stuff after Smileanon made the fagcest green.
>>2105 I like this image because I imagine Jane is so focused on not talking about her trauma she tries to deflect in autistic ways, or that she’s already accepted she’s terrible while John is still reconciling with whatever terrible thing he’s done
>>2205 How exactly does that work? >John worked at CFL before the core collapse >Jane was on Earth during the Solver War >These events happened decades apart
>>1846 Wanted to expand more Carmen's type of DD and to show how much more different they are from regular DDs, so here we go.
>another main distinction this universe’s DDs have from the Solver ones are their wings; in true human fashion, ABF felt like reinventing the wheel, both out of a marketing reason so as to not make these “new and improved” DDs look too scary and because they just couldn't figure out an efficient way to make the bladed wings fold back into the body that didn’t involve Solver storage or incredibly advanced (and expensive) nanites, so they opted to create an entirely new, much easier to process set on wings >what makes them unique is that they don’t have a solid internal frame, they’re just an experimental material known as “origami cells”, essentially billions of reinforced carbon hexagons held together by just their cellular structure that can collapse and expand, allowing the wings to either reduce themselves up to a 20th of their size for perfect storage in the DD’s chassis or even bend and move like arms, which is why they’re tipped with hooked blades, as they can also fulfill the same role a DD’s claws would, but in this case they can also act as a second pair of claws >the unique structure of their wings also makes them bulletproof, the projectiles bouncing off them as they absorb all the shock from the impacts and dispersing it instantly, preventing any potential damage to those hiding behind them; they’re not invincible, though, something stronger than an anti tank missile can tear through them, but for the most part, they’re ridiculously durable, even a sharp knife can’t dig all the way through them >another distinction is that when engaged in an active pursuit and/or they received an approval to use lethal force, instead of their eyes turning into an X, a special halo will appear above their heads; this is meant to warn any civilians or crew members that a suspect is in the process of being hunted and to not intervene in order to not get potentially harmed No I totally didn't base the halo design on the symbol that appears on top of Kirie's head when she goes slaughter mode, what are you talking about.
>>2208 Jane got sent through time and space to be in the good ending after her escape shuttle went through a wormhole. Also "decades" is not quite it since Tessa was a kid during the Gala and we can assume Space Suit "Tessa" is about 20 or so. So only a few years have passed at best between the Gala and Core collapse + Current events
>>2216 >Uzi feels smug about knicking that stupid popular kid's uniform >Then she feels a tap on her shoulder >C(armen) looms over her, tapping her foot, frowning >Uzi's fw she just committed theft right in front of a cop-drone
>>2227 I never fucking thought of this >Uzi is at best 16-pushing 17 >If she was 18 they wouldnt push so hard the fact shes just a kid "Like N" >Drones grow up with age going through stages of life >N was 16-17 at the Elliott Estate >that was about 20 years ago >N is a 30 something year old man whos entire life and sex drive now completely revolves around a teenager Even if you want to cope and say Uzi is 18 its still a thirty something wanting to fuck an 18 year old thats weird as hell
>>2137 As long as people seem to like them I will gladly share whatever dumb idea I have. Haruka and Uzi are actually kinda similar as they both are anime addicted gremlins who want to save and protect their community (initially at least). Although I would argue that Haruka is better adjusted seeing as she doesn’t actively push people away all the time.
>>2219 A lot of this hinges on a number of unknowns, with even the relatively safe assumptions (such as Tessa getting made into a skinsuit at the Gala) still ambiguous enough to keep the actual timeline fuzzy.
What we do know is this: >Current year is 3071 >Uzi classmates (and presumably Uzi herself) are 19-ish which puts their 'birth' somewhere in the 3050s >Nori "died" around the time Uzi was a pill baby which means their arrival on Copper-9 couldn't have happened any later than the 3050s >Practically everything before the Core Collapse had to have happened at some point before the 3050s, with any other specifics entirely up to fanon interpretation
>>2237(me) One other thing I should add is that I don't know how reliable it is trying to gauge the age of "Tessa" considering all the Solver Shenanigans involved with keeping the skin suit 'alive'. I wouldn't be surprised if the skin/flesh hasn't actually aged since being worn by Cyn, but again it is entirely conjecture until/unless we learn anything new in Episode 8
>>2237 When do people have prom? When I had it, I had 18 about to have 19, most of my classmates as well, there was a 20 year old because he failed a year
>>2236 Robots with ages and a society which separates adults and kids, its still weird if you fuck the Loli just because she's technically 30000 years old anon
>>2246 A place that is not civilized like the first world, but more civilized than Africa The normal age is 18-19, some are 17, but I didn't see those in my class, it also depends on the date the prom is made
>>2248 Why do eurofags teach their kids so late. Either way we can safely assume Murder Drones is an America type setting with America type rules given thats what its constantly referring to in its tropes. And here in the great US of A its normal for highschoolers to be 16-17 during Prom with rare 18 year olds
>>2252 huh, yeah hes been at best 17 the moment Uzi was born so hes like 33-36 there no way you slice this where its not fucked up given enough thought
>>2219 >"decades" is not quite it since Tessa was a kid during the Gala and we can assume Space Suit "Tessa" is about 20 They canonically have cryosleep, and might also have genetic engineering/biological augmentation. Nothing about the timeline can be concluded from Tessa the Human's appearance.
I know Liam made dogs immortal probably as an excuse to not animate them or piss off twitter, but I definitely feel like the invasion of Earth scene would've hit harder if it showed N not holding a person but a dead dog
>>2257 >>2258 Age 1: Pïllbaby Age 2: Worker drone I mean, they are pillbabies, then worker drones, then they die, but they do not age like a normal human being, at that is the second generation, the first is just worker drone, and then die
>>2263 How does that make any sense when theres clear age groups? Pill baby - teen like Uzi - adult like Teacher or Nori - Old like Khan, which auditory differences in their voices and visors showing theyre older. Hell in universe N says Uzi is a kid, which says they do recognize age groups and that Uzi is not an adult
>>2257 While they do have ages I don't think it's nearly as comparable to our own, even with the whole LARP that they are doing. >They go from "baby" AKA untrained neural network to a standard WD body, meaning that they either gain their "adult" body REALLY early or they stay as a "baby" for WAY later >Despite apparently having hormones drones do NOT go through any sort of physical puberty >We don't even know if drones can die of old age
>>2265 Technically they could? But they aren't, since they do not age like human do, you probably need to see mental age, you can see the chronological age, but that is not going to be the same with a human, a robot can live for 10 years but have the same mental age as a 20 year old, thinking the same way. We can't put the same thinking about how human works on robots, they work too differently >>2267 I mean, there is mental age if you want to go by that What I'm trying to say, they do not age like humans, you can't compare them like that, saying "Oh she lived for 50 years, she thinks like a 50 year old"
>>2270 nta, I mean, everyone there LARPs and somewhat knows the human culture, but they can use it differently than us or directly just don't understand it like us, even N, V, or J, even when they have seen humans, since they can read about it or hear it, but they do not need to actually know how to use it like we exactly use it, and they got most of their memories or all their memories suppressed depending on the DD, which can too affect how they use a language
>>2272 I don't think is the exact same, since they can last longer than humans, or less, making it a different way to see it and calculate stuff, we don't know for how much their pieces work
>>2275 I don't know, at this point I'm going to stop answering, this is getting dragged out too much and I think this conversation is getting too stupid.
>>2274 I dunno, this is a dumb Twitter argument and I hate it. Here's a better question: in the stepdad AU, how is Tessa going to get away with legally marrying Anon?
>>2273 How would N know about the Larp? He didnt interact with the drones at all until Uzi came along and I doubt she told him about the LARP. Tessa dressed them up like dolls, they arent doing it because they want to be human (maybe J is, but N and V are just Tessas or Cyns pets playing dress up)
>>2274 People were talking about Jane lore, then they realized Gala to the Shows events kinda fucks with ages a lot and it means the characters are way way older then Uzi, so its funny seeing how every ship is really fucked up
>>2279 >Dumb twitter argument Reminds of the posts where Cyn was disabled-coded, because of her puppet-like limping and movements. When the Solver could move Uzi just fine.
>>2281 >Wow this pretend wedding Tessa set up sure is elaborate >I can't wait to see her real wedding >Why is J screaming?
Alternatively, in the dark timeline >These people care more that I'm a commoner than they do that I'm her stepdad who's 10 years older than her >I'm still going to hell for all this, right? >Stop thinking about it, Anon, enjoy the married life
>>2270 Because as far as drone society is concerned ALL drones raised omin it must follow the exact same social conventions regarding 'age'.
To make this admittedly nuanced topic make a bit more sense I'd suggest looking at it like this >Although drones can mentally age roughly like humans, they do NOT physically age like humans >Many of the drones social trappings regarding 'age' is partially based on the former, although much of their society still follows explicitly human standards as far as 'age' >Acting like a drone at X age is directly comparable to a human at age X is an simply incorrect way to go about it
>>2262 There's something resembling a dog cult nowadays, maladjusted mf's regularly encourage each other in comments about valuing dogs more than people and how they need to cry a river when a holesome doggo get's btfo in a movie, even if Liam doesn't share their view (I think he does, doesn't he have a fog himself), he is likely aware of it/it's a easy way to gain from the masses
>>2294 So then drone society would still see N as a 30 something and Uzi as a kid seeing how they do view age the same way as we do, its just that N is pretending or hiding he is older then he actually is
>>2300 He wanted to add photos of the animation team's dogs to a calendar and then went "man, it would suck if every dog died horribly" so he made a joke about them being immortal. Next you're going to hyper-analyze the plaque on the revolver telling gun nerds to shut up about it, and how it was a carefully-planned move to prevent Liam for being crucified.
>>2300 >doesn't he have a fog himself Ah yes, the best pet of them all, the FOG, a pet that can't even die, and depending on the material, can go through walls, for just $99.99!
>>2301 does that mean that if you were a drone pedo you could simply act like a teen and get in with the highschoolers despite the fact your 40, but as soon as you act like an adult you are viewed as one. Obviously Drones are supposed to naturally age or Uzi would just be an adult so she didnt have to go to school
Actually, wait >N was a clone of N when he was 17 Is that even true? Worker Drones are likely put to work the moment they have hands to do so with, since you wouldn't want your expendable labor product to wait almost two decades before it can function. N likely died the first time early into service, given the high-lethality lifestyles drones lead, and resurrected at a point in time where Tessa was rooting through the dump fixing up drones. That means he's likely a few years old by the time of the gala. Unless he's explicitly stated to have been operating for 17 years somewhere I missed, the gap's not that severe.
>>2310 Well no because obviously Butler N is the same age group as Uzi since he says (and thinks) he and Uzi would be around the same age >Shes a kid, like us! That doesnt seem to signify that he is actually like, 2. Especially since drones view these age range like we do
Okay but wait, Nori regained her memories and kinda stopped the Drone larp with her just being a core down in the mines, and even she has old person wrinkles on her visor signifying her age
>>2311 >I'm dead! >"Hehehe..." >WHY IS THE ANON DEAD?! >"[Inconspicuous shrug] I don know" >>2312 That knife reminds me that I must finish my Skitarii Vanguard Alpha.
Hi, I was told to make an apology video for...uh, reasons, but I don't have a traditional ukulele. So I'll just make the sounds with my mouth. Dododle dool doo doo, I didn't touch Uzi I swear, doodle doo do do, I didn't know how old she was, dooldle doo do dooo, okay I actually did but stilll, dool doo doo doo
>>2316 The meta-narrative reason to code her character as being 'older' for the sake of the audience. I have no clue what the reason could be in-universe although I am all but certain it's because Nori simply chooses to display wrinkles rather than it being from her just randomly developing them after hitting an arbitrary age. If we are going by "drones gain digital wrinkles as they age" why hasn't N, J, V, or even Cyn ever been shown with them despite objectively being older?
>>2332 So then its showing that Old age does exist in this universe and that these Drones do "age" and that therefore there is age groups in this universe, Nori now belonging to the Older group after she was just a regular adult because she has by now aged over time despite just being a core thing
>>2346 I mean... when you put it like that youre not wrong that is what hes technically doing. I dont like this taste in my mouth >>2345 I dont think anyone genuinely cares we are all going back to jerking it to N and Uzi porn, its just really odd to think about how logically these age differences are insane
>>2350 >Anon was found dead 2 weeks later >3 bullets to the back of the head >He had also sawed off his own head after the fact >The police ruled it off as a suicide >Liam chuckled that day
>>2351 Now that I think of it, does any of this apply to Cyn or do we just accept she died a teen (probably around 17 as well) and has been an ageless corpse since thats brain is an Ageless cthulhu thing so this age conversation doesnt apply to Cyn at all
>>2358 Has it ever been established whether Cyn (and every drone back when human society was a good thing) had a pillbaby stage or was she always a Worker Drone?
>>2360 To even become a worker drone in the first place you have to have been a pillbaby and gotten the data from Mom and Pop, so yes. Then assumedly they went through the age stages until reaching now
>>2362 So how exactly did this process play out as far as purchasing drones goes? Were pillbabies mass-manufactured and raised with bare minimum knowledge before getting 'upgraded' and put into a box for purchase? Did prospective drone owners need to buy & raise the blank pillbaby first before they could have a worker drone of their own???
>>2365 Well no, because they had Pillbabies before the Collapse. Beau for instance is a pre collapse Pillbabies. From the way its talked about, especially by Liam it seems that Pillbabies are just part of the Worker drone cycle just like how Xenomorphs are spawning from eggs
>>2365 Honestly this is how I look at it. Worker Drones don't have to go through the whole pillbaby process and can easily just have their new offspring inhabit fully built bodies from the get-go. The only reasons they don't do this is a mix of sticking to the LARP of human development & simple pragmatism (Liam mentioned how much safer it would be for themselves and everyone else to keep the developing AI in a pillbaby than it would be in a fully functional body)
>>2367 That doesn't really make any sense. Default non-zombie drones have no personalities at all. Why would they need to "raise" them first? Has Lian ever stated what the actual purpose of the pills were prior to the Copper-9 drones figuring out how to reproduce?
>>2369 Well if Pillbabies dont serve any purpose then why did the Humans, who only view Drones as work slaves make them? And we dont see the Drones "find" the pillbabies, they just have them in the flashback slides we see in the pilot. I dont think drones "figured out" how to reproduce, this is simply how new drones are made
>>2370 I don't think they have anything to do with the "lifecycle" of drones. That would contradict the lore of regular drones having no personality. The closest thing we have to how drones are made is from the J merch video. They could just be the equivalent of a development kit used to test updates and patches on the worker AI.
>>2373 Anon that video is a joke, you cant honestly take any of that seriously. That clip youre showing is them using drones to create merch, not their life cycle
>>2373 >That would contradict the lore of regular drones having no personality. No? Because if two personality less drones fuck, and their baby carries their personality, then that Pillbaby will also have no personality
>>2377 I think the joke is that the thread is talking about how N is a 30 something year old groomer of Uzi if you compare their logical ages, and N is Liams self insert, and Liam is a 30 something year old.... thennnn it dont look good (joke dont take it seriously)
>>2369 >>2370 >>2366 FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, THEY ARE ALL BUILT IN AN ASSEMBLY LINE! THE PILLBABY BODIES ON COPPER-9 ARE REPOURPOSED FOR DRONE REPRODUCTION! And yes, Liam has talked about copper-9 drone reproduction, specifically in an AMA back when the pilot first aired.
>>2380 > AMA back when the pilot first aired. and Im supposed to care about this why? That was before the big series rewrite, and he also said that DDs are so hot they would burn you if you touched them, but Tessa touches them and shes fine Even if Tessa is just a flesh corpse, that would still burn through her clothing and burn her corpse flesh, but we see no burns. Also the DDs would burn the snow around them, but that doesnt happen, so obviously not everything he says in AMAs from when the pilot aired is not to be taken at face value when we have way more information now. If this was the case, then beau simply shouldnt exist
>>2375 I'm just saying it's the closest thing we have to how they're made >>2376 But if the end product is a blank slate drone, why go through the trouble of merging 2 drones and then "raising" it. Was it ever stated that the pills are pre-collapse anyway? This is the first time I've ever heard about it.
>>2384 >Was it ever stated that the pills are pre-collapse anyway? This is the first time I've ever heard about it. They have to be, Beau exists. And if they aren't, then why did the humans build them? Truthy we have no in show answers what so ever, but obviously since Beau exists and he was in CFL then they obviously had to be a thing pre collapse
>>2388 He had to be, Alice doesnt have the components or ability to make a Pill Baby in her pre collapse environment. All she has is scrap, and Beau is obviously a fully functioning Pill baby not made of Scrap. So he had to have been down there Pre Collapse its the only way it makes sense, also he has a personality like other drones despite the fact he shouldnt as well so yeah. Picrel
>>2390 >Anon is beaten by two Drones with sirens on their heads >They confuse his boner for a hand gun and proceed to shoot him exactly nine hundred and fifty eight times to be sure
>>2386 tirkras and some other artists have him as part of some sort of experiment that the CFL techs were running with the hosts. I mean who knows, the easiest answer is that they were originally for AI testing, as stated by Liam during GlitchX, the whole idea of a pillbaby body was to keep what is effectively a sociopathic intelligence from hurting itself or others while learning. >>2388 He's never outright referred to as her son I think, so its possible. Could also be some unlucky test subject forced to use that body.
>>2395 >Oogis are taken from their loving Hives and put into "Draft" >Draft of course is a big artificial hive specially made to raise Oogis for combat, their Bugrettas kept away from them to let them imprint but not far enough away to where the Oogis dont want to come back to care for it >Its a grueling upbringing for the Oogis who are found and brought into the Draft, and harder on the Oogis who are born here >Sometimes if numbers are dwindling the Oogis are forced to evolve into stronger Oogis unwillingly >its not pleasant, but no one said War would be fun
>>2407 I was thinking more like forcing them to eat meat or other things Betas might not want to do to force them to become Predators or Alphas, but lifting Lego weights and other things could be what regular Beta soldiers are doing to become stronger

>>1195 Very late, had things to do, but in order to somewhat clear what >>1199 Was intended to convey: I think that the significant amount of good background-lore (background only due to Alice and Beau being antagonists of 1 episode in the mostly [narrative-vessel-wise] Uzi-centric show we have) was, while clearly not pushed in front cause of it not affecting the current, immediate situation (6) enough, IMO definitely intended. The oven is clear, it was the most obvious and overall (meaning in it's effects on the planet and everybody on it-wise)most relevant point, similiar with the very strongly implied point of Alice having used Sentinels to take out DDs (strongly implied only since the possibilty of squads entering CFL and immediately following the sign to the labelled secret elevator just to run into a corridor of Sentinels [ep6 Doll trap] doesn't seem to far fetched to me, otherwise Alice's casual manner in letting Sentinels go hunt N and 'Tessa' is proof that she is -as most people already think- capable of having killed the DDs via Sentinels herself). These two are directly relevant to the planets continued survival and are essential to answering what happened to other squads mentioned by J in 1, without Alice it could have turned into quite the plothole, YET it was fixed, which gives me confidence that further details vital to the implications shaping the greater Alice lore/characterisation/Alice/Alice-Beau relation, like the flickering of lights in 6's intro/029's helpless lifestyle implying or, tbh, outright proving that this scene takes place directly after the core collapse, not as (maybe intentionally implied in order to make Alice out as rather simply evil- the idea the mass of viewers have of her- and aiding the shows [[possible] not confirmed Imo I just feel as if there is to a degree]] assertive moral narrative by doing so) often interpreted shortly before 6, were added intentionally. Reason for example is 029 wouldn't have lasted 20 years, also the lights going out must have been shortly after collapse, the CFL we see 20 years later is quite dark. So in the end, while the narrative definitely portrays Alice and Beau badly (on a very very superficial level-which is sadly all most viewers get), the details on which all these further implications are funded (not gonna go through all of them anymore now) seem intentional and do not suffer from contradicting anything else, which kinda leads to the conclusion that the points you mentioned and many others I am kinda lost myself now on the other points tbh, too late, too long a post are indeed true, meaning the portrayal/general image of Alice and Beau in such a negative way was intended to make the episode flow smoothly, it doesn't disqualify any of the deeper points there are really.

Not necessarily a maid drone, but thought I’d just wing the idea of the Yandere part. >This drone was named Bond. A drone that was specifically designed to be a best friend and companion to you as well as any family. >Bond comes with prototype personalization AI, meaning that any interests you have will become Bond’s as well, making sure you’ll NEVER be alone in your hobbies again! >This drone was made with the purpose of being your new best friend, so be sure to give Bond the reciprocating love and care only best friends can share! >And while Bond wouldn’t mind that you have other drones around the house, make sure you let Bond know that friendship between you two have is something that can never happen between you and other drones. >Do not be alarmed if your other drones start going missing, they’re just…probably at their charging port or handling outside chores, Bond has definitely no connections to any disappearances that may occur! >So what are you waiting for? Just sign the waiver and written agreement and Bond can be your new best friend for LIFE!
>[JCJenson is not responsible for any instances like disappearances, abnormal behavior, or the sudden passing of loved ones in relation to Bond]
>>2496 >You carefully read over the reviews for Bond drones, because you want to know why you can get an advanced companion drone for $600 >"He killed my butler drone and JCJ doesn't cover disassembly of Bonds, they want me to pay THEM to get rid of it? I am NEVER buying from JCJ again!" >"do NOT buy two, i think im going to die, please help i thought i was funny" >"A Bond unit is the perfect addition to any home, big or small. Buy one today! You will not regret it. Ever." >Well, this is all very concerning >But $600 for a drone? >But the waiver says that you're signing away any rights to hold JCJ or the Bond unit responsible for the unscheduled disassembly of nearby drones, workplace disturbances, deaths in the family... >But ONLY $600? And the sale ends when Greenland Remembrance Weekend is over? >You'd better buy right away >The purchase page makes you sign out digital forms, as well as a personalized card that your new friend will apparently be sent so it'll know who you are when you open the box >Asking for your name, date of birth, interests, favorite food, employment situation, relationship status, a photograph... >Yeah, this is just datamining for targeted advertisement, but whatever >The purchase is confirmed, and your new robot buddy should be getting here within 3 business days!

To all the professional writefags here. Do you guys start writing a story, suddenly get an idea for something later on, and then "skip" to like halfway through the story and start writing from there? Like I start writing the very beginning, and then skip like 10 scenes ahead, write that scene, then go back to the start and continue from where I left off.
>>2543 I'm not professional and I'm pretty damn new, but I can answer. I do get ideas as I go, but I keep chugging along at my current pace and put them in as I reach a fitting point. By the time I reach them, I'll have a better feel of how they'd mesh with the story, and if I even still like the idea enough to add it. It works pretty well for me, but there's no one right way to approach storytelling, so don't feel like your way's inferior or anything. Half the time I get disillusioned or take too long meandering to get to my actual point.
>>2543 When that happens to me I just write the ideas down and the main things I wanto to write, I do not write all that I want immediately since for me it breaks the flow of writing, which for me is very hard to get on.
>>2543 Can't really call myself "professional", but no, I usually structure the ideas I have in bullet points first so I can keep track of the main story beats, then write the thing in chronological order.

>>2138 >As you near the door from where you entered the offices you can hear voices talking. And the slight scent.
>”I’m telling you, I heard those noises coming from here! And look around! Everything is trashed!” >”I don’t care. This probably happened when the core exploded. Besides, if you say someone did this who would do it?” >”A worker drone! Think about it! We haven’t eaten in a while and the heat is getting uncomfortable. This is our chance!” >”That is not true, there hasn’t been any worker sightings around here these parts. What you heard was probably something falling.”
>You ‘extingush’ your energy cutlass, the red blade disappearing as you put it away and instinctively turn off the LEDs in your hands and your visor. >As you slightly peak around the doorway, you can barely see around because there’s little moonlight coming through the ceiling windows of the museum. >But the caustic yellow glow of the disassemblers is easily seen in the darkness from their visors, headbands and stingers.
>”Oh come on! There’s definitely a worker here! Just look around you again! Does this look like it was destroyed by some planetary blast! This was deliberate and corporate property is destroyed!” >”I said I don’t care. Most of these things here are cheap anyways.” >”E-E-excuse me, boss, but I don’t think we should stay here. I have a really bad feeling about this and I think someone’s watching us…” >”See?! Please, just let me look around and I’ll definitely find this worker drone!”
>The irritated looking DD crosses their arms and taps their feet before looking at the enthusiastic DD.
>”Fine but you have 7 minutes. Me and her will stay here and wait for you. If you’re not back we’ll just leave you here.” >”YES! YES!”
>The enthusiastic DD pumps their fist in the air.
>”Okay! I’ll bring them to you, I promise!”
>You then see it turn towards your direction and begin walking towards you. >You quickly hide behind the door in the hopes that they don’t see you riding on the fact most DDs don’t have a gram of intelligence in them. >The hallway without your cutlass is dark as shit but with how the DDs glow, you don’t think it’ll be a problem. >You hear the mechanical footsteps getting louder and the yellow glow getting brighter then suddenly stop. >You wait in anticipation for what the DD will do. You then hear it move away from the door in the opposite direction. >You quietly come out from behind the door and see the DD walking slowly down the hallway.
>”Where are you little morsel? I won’t hurt you too much~!”
>You slowly begin to sneak behind them as you tail them, slowly and slowly getting closer. >As you get closer you avoid bumping into their stinger and once you’re close enough…

You put your foot on their chest and use it as leverage to pull the sword out. >You apply more strength and the sword finally comes out as it rips through their chest, [FATAL ERROR] written on their visor as it falls down on it’s back. >Then the aroma of DD oil hits you. >You pull out your cutlass again and turn it back on as you use it to examine the sword. >Oh yeah, right. Better not let it waste. >One down, two more to go.
I'm approaching the point of no return with this OC in my fic. Realized that Solver Uzi and Solver V have different skin colors, so Akita should follow Uzi's Solver flesh color. Red is the default with Solver flesh, so Akita should instead be a dark, dull purple like Uzi (with strong purple accents like Uzi). Akita was always intended to be "Solver Uzi, but made completely of Solver flesh", so hoping this makes the idea come across stronger. Maybe a little more purple? Kind of hard to tell since the lighting for this show is hard to get down. What would you call the color of Uzi's Solver appendages?
>>2557 >blue They look really purple to me, personally. Episode 4 I can see the blue argument for, but every episode since they just look purple with blue light on them.
>>2562 >"Oooh, hiiii N! So you said your head hurts?" >"Yeah? Didn't you say to cho-" >"Shush....all I said was lay off the chocolate, okay?" >"Wow, J, I think I might have issues with my hearing too!" >The boss leaves >"KEEP YOUR HEAD UNDER WATER!"
>>2543 Yeah, that's happened. I had an overall conception for the story, wrote up outlines for each chapter, then found myself elaborating on some of the later chapters prior to writing and releasing the earlier parts. Specifics of the story changed as I wrote it, but having some level of detail for later content allowed for more foreshadowing/connection and a more solid idea of what to do with the earlier chapters. Then when it came time to flesh out the later chapters, having a framework/prototype already in existence allowed for a quicker editing process, even as the final version diverged from what I'd initially written.

Hello, it is me John MurderDrones. I have finally escaped Copper-9 after hijacking an old spaceship that I found at a dealership. However I have been captured by the remnants of the Australian Army and they are very pissed off about my connections to JCJenson. >”We should have just left, this is a waste of time. We should have been patrolling the south, not doing…this.” >”I, uh, I…boss I think we should leave, I don’t think they’re coming back…” >”For an idiot, they can take care of themselves.” >”But boss…please we have to leave!” >”Just shut it, please.”
>Looks like they’re not going to move, you’re gonna have to distract them. >You take a look around to see something you can use… >Under the moonlight you see an unbroken JCJ coffee mug. Maybe this’ll work. >You grab it and toss it towards the closest wall. >It shatters with a loud sound gets the attention of the two DDs. >The irritated one snaps at attention and looks at the direction of the sound while the panicked one yelps and freezes immediately >The irritated one’s hand transforms into a submachine gun as he begins walking.
>”Who’s there? >”Boss, wait!”
>They ignore the plea and continue walking. >They get closer and closer to you and the wall. >You move to the other side of the cabinet as they pass by you. >You pull out your energy cutlass then come out from hiding as you ignite your energy cutlass and turn on your LEDs and begin to walk towards the DD.
>>2632 >The DD immediately stops and turns around as they point their submachine gun at you. >You immediately slash towards the gun with the cutlass and cut off the hand. >The DD, surprised, takes a step back as they transform their other arm into a claw and slash towards you. >You simply sidestep the slash and look at the DD with a shit-eating grin. >With the funky looking sword you cut off the entire arm as the DD is left both armless and handless. >They stumble forward and fall on the ground as they look back at you with an X. >It extends their wings and they jump towards you, mouth open with sharp teeth ready to bite down at you. >You simply smile as you point both blades in their path. >The DD’s expression changes from murderous to shock once they realize their mistake. >They slam into you and impale themselves on your blades as you take a few steps back from the impact. >Their head rests on your shoulder as you hear them cough out oil from their mouth. >You push them back slightly by the blades and see them they’ve impaled themselves into the DD’s abdomen. >You push them down as they slice through their abdomen then bring them up again to slice through their chest. >As you do so, the DD stares back at you in shock before taking a few stumbles back. The ovals on their visor get replaced with [FATAL ERROR] as their torso slides off and falls down followed by the rest of their body. >You turn around and look at the remaining DD, the scared one. >They’re looking at you with a horrified expression on their face as they stare at you. >You just smile at them and wave with the funky sword. >This makes them even more scared as they extend their wings and jump into the air and crash through the ceiling windows. >You sit there and shrug in disappointment, you got the other two but didn’t get the third one. Bummer. >Oh well, at least this was fun plus you found this sword which you’re gonna add to your collection if you ever get off this planet. >Well, time to get back to what you were doing.
>>2581 Relevant information is on the booru. TLDR is that she's rotting from the inside and needs to consume the tissue and oil of DDs and Solver Witches to regenerate her insides and not die. As for disassembler oil being toxic to normal worker drones is interesting.

Taxes? Done. Chores? Finished. His room? If one was charging, the other would still be active, with no alone time for the man. >They’d follow him wherever he went, not letting up on their clingy nature. He even had complications at work when Marrow and Avery would visit him there, causing disruptions and glaring at coworkers whom they believe were too close. >He wrote his review on the listing for the Bond Drones in the brief seconds he had alone. >>3291 Shouldn't Oogis be used to being cold? They are born wearing thick hoodies and beanies. I sometimes put mine in the freezer for fun and they look happy about it, then again. I just assume they get out themselves, I dont mark them and they all look the same to me
