This is actually an idea I plan to explore within the main story.
Basically, [spoiler]as she suffers more and more from persona degradation, and K's influence grows stronger, she begins to pick up an intense craving for oil. This happens while she is in transit on a ship filled with worker drones and maybe some grunt drones. It starts out slowly, but after a little while she starts to notice how her sensors can detect every individual oil capillary within the drones. It progresses from there and she eventually snaps and goes feral.
It would kinda end up like an Alien movie, with Elf being the Xenomorph. The other drones have to work together to survive until they can make it to a station, where another sentinel can take her down, and then she ends up back on Holly's operating table.
I also want to make some good use of her tail since I think the tails are heavily underutilized in the series as a whole. Maybe have Elf cause a little zombie apocalypse on the ship with it.
I was thinking the entire thing would start from Elf's POV, but would then primarily be written from the POV of the various different drones trying to survive the trip.[/spoiler]

I have an idea for a Solver (Chaos) Marine oc. His name is either Hate Crime or Hate Speech. He entered Cyn's service without striking a deal because all he wants to get out of it is kill lots of people. That scene haunts me still, I almost never dream about MD, but when it happens it's always something from between the bootloop and Uzi having nulled the doorcontrollboard. Worst thing is it takes so damn long, it's nervewrecking to watch and I didn't watch 6 in full for that reason for 8 or so months now. The small calming when it looks as if things may still be alright, she didn't get nulled the doors are still closed, then that things fhat makes my heart drop, that Godforsaken green light and that soundtrack, PTSD shit.
Aaa it makes me physically bueno. The way they all look towards the door then 😨 and we see it closed more than halfway, she pulls another 15%, but then looks out for Beau why did you need to call Beau god damn it!? I really like it, the leg design is to me very unique and well thought out for such a reconnaissance role, imo that doesn't just appear to have a more effective springlike effect than the usual Sentinel/DD leg with only one joint or even usual feet (like WD), I can really see her getting along very fast with these, the neat folding mechanism is briliant.
I remember a post about bladelegs and sensory array, I am making my own version of such an Alice but it takes a very different approach aetheticswise, the inspiration is the same tho. (Mine is more technical, head design has been a joy so far and the legs are still hard to get right but the basic idea of using springs is hopefully gonna end up in something good).
Making her deercentered is really cute and the tail idea is also novel and looks fitting. The drawing itself too is nice, good expression and pose, I already said hair without helmet looks well made! Really looking forward to the finished thing!

Post episode 6, in that scenario I went with the bet that the head is nothing more than sensory array and a few electronics, not gonna lorespam but some way Alice's bootloop ended and she managed to move again, 'luckily' only the area about 30% up her head and above got stepped doen so her head stayed attached and the white part intact. She was blind but managed to smh get parts of the screen working and it all to smh look like a head but the damage is ofc immense and she's lacking and leaking a bunch of oil from up there

Alice would usually still be wary and put safety or at least her control first, but she is socially and emotionally starved after all these years, her being as intact as in 6 shows she didn't let herself go yet, and that was already after a long long fair share of suffering endured.
Imagine after episode 6, definitely in pain constantly, not just hurt physically but also emitionaly, not only by Beau's destruction. She managed to fare so well, just for Nori's kid to come there, then bite off her finger and insult her (note the change in tone after Uzi's bite from excited to disappointed, with a hint of sadness/ how she stabbed Uzi's hand immediately after Uzi called her creep- that would likely have happened anyways had Uzi continued that way, but in that moment the insult was decisive), then destroying her vital hideout and eventually facing the Sentinel, I see in that expression of Alice not just surprise but I think it's almost pleading, she knows intelectually what will happen but the actual experience would still have that effect, a hope that maybe it COULD just be different then.
If she comes back then she doesn't just hace time to think about all that- no interaction for 20 years, but when she gets it nobody cares for her or her wellbeing, Uzi and the others obviously left her there and the Sentinel did not hold back either, poor Alice would hace all reason to be absolutely down mentally.
Wanna help her so bad, a hug, just that, holding her, caressing, letting her rest against you, nestling her somewhere and helping her get fixed, you can do these things since you are in a better state, she'd know how

To be brutally honest I've completely lost interest in these threads. Most of the good art and fics I can get directly from the people who make them, and I don't have to wade through oogislop, fake contentfag drama or the latest communityfag tantrum spiral to get it.
The Phoenix chapter update is about 30-40% written, and it feels like a chore instead of a fun story writing exercise right now.
I will fully own that it's my own fault for taking a bunch of requests for various things which I don't have the time or mental energy to complete, in the end I am not a professional artist and my ambition for completing projects far exceeds the scope of my current skill level.
I'm hoping to have the Phoenix update itself written by the end of my "day" and integrated into the rest of the AO3 story sometime in the upcoming weekend, at which point I'll link it here in whatever the current thread is.
After that's done I'll get on the Holly lore dossier for which I will not specify some kind of arbitrary completion date, it will be done when it's done.

I have no specific plans to do anything after that.

Honestly, i think its just a mix of alot of art/drawanons are ether in mild burnout or in the thick of the seasonal depression that hits right about now.
