After how close they got to Elite Eight last year and how hilarious their roleplaying has been from start to finish of this tournament, I want to see them go all the way. I also think Carl has real chances of winning Mr. /co/ this year and this might hurt him a bit. Some will argue Max, but just a slight nudge in votes in enough to kill a character. Also, shut up, Krabs.

Niacey and Cheese Lovers were actually dead-tied under both methods of calculating 5th-8th. The precedent for deciding ties during tourney matches is seeding so it went to Cheese Lovers.

Oh I really rarely care about "Lore" or "continuity" in the stuff I draw, the only "canon" is whatever's funny in that moment (basically whatever Aqua Teen or Spongebob does, where Carl can die/Bikini Bottom can explode and then everything is totally fine the next episode)

My reasoning too, just Kent or the General isn't nearly as funny by themselves but when Mansley's proposing the bomb, or Rogard is yelling "DAMNIT MANSLEY" over Kent's stupid shit then there's really a lot of funny stuff happening. The name is excellent as well.
But I'm also really liking Irate Neighbors, just two grouchy assholes having to deal with everybody's nonsense is great. Probably my other favorite duo besides the Localizers, but the Localizers really take it for me in the spirit of what a true cooperative pairing of two characters looks like

Okay, since it’s right near the end might as well reiterate that I feel the Giant Localizers had it as soon as the Elite Eight got called. I’d even say that they have faced the three hardest possible teams left. There’s a smaller chance that the Irate Neighbors could pull off the upset, but just how I feel right now.

They were remarkably close with the Frollo Show, if it'd have kicked into gear earlier they might have lost that one. Springtime was a biggervwin, but still a respectable matchup.

This really is a perfect finals to represent Tag-Team healing. One team is a recurring favorite who finally avoided being snuffed out of Elite Elite, while the other is two /co/ favorite who managed to breeze through their first time competiting here. Basically everyone here has seen their source material as well. Even thematically, you got two guys fed up with the BS around them and two others ready to nuke dissenters to the ground.

Their nomination had some real charm to it, and then they just ended up being no-shows in the tournament itself.

Propane got a couple Hank posts, and that was basically it. The team was a fun idea, but way too much of a no-show for how far it got. Even in Round 4, it only lost narrowly to Albino Buffalo.

I felt ACCC had a lot of potential for fun banner with Homer and Bender. It just never happened.

Hoping Irate Neighbors win this. They're both iconic and great in their own right, while Giant Localizers are mostly one joke and I think a lot of people just vote for their movie. And Moomin for 3rd

Man do I wish there was ever some kind of /dbs/reps in a tournament, Goku, Bejita and whoever is the third rep would be way too fucking funny. In King /v/ if someone posts as Kiyru and merely says "I love bbc", you get a hundred posts freaking out if it's an Eggman fag trying tocslander him, or a kiyrufag posing as an Eggman fag to garner sympathy. Meanwhile, you can say "I love bbc" as Bejita and you'll get a Freeza poster laughing saying "Why of course you do! You've trained under the greatest bbc in the universe to serve my army!", Goku posters will say "STOP KISSING BBC AND START KISSING MY WIFE", Krillin posters will say "YABBA-DABBA-DOO, BEJITA GETS BBC WHILE I CAN ONLY WATCH? LUCKY HIM", a Yamcha poster dies for an inexplicable reason (the ultimate jobber), and other Bejita posters laugh amd gloat to Kakarot about how he's 0-3 and now can't even get BBC, because je jobs to the great saiyan prince. You can't even falseflag or attack them because there's so many autistic storylines they're just happy for the attention, it's a joy to see.

I mean, Mansley really is an entertaining shithead. His struggle against Hogarth is great, he perfectly resembles petty beaurocratic incompetence. Yes, Rogard isn't in as much of the film but he's still a lot of fun, I especially loved "DO YOU KNOW MANY MANY MILLIONS YOU BLEW OUt OF UNCLE SAMS BUTT?". I really do adore that movie, I just watched it again and it holds up SO well, every minute is enjoyable.
Squidward and Carl are also great though, for a multitude of reasons, if anybody else would win I'd like it to be them.

Rogard is also one of the few generals in fiction that actually seems competent at what he does and is one of the few that tries to resolve issues peacefully if need be. He doesn’t resort to unnecessary violence for an answer and when he sees the iron giant to be a non-threat he lowers all his guns until Mansley fucks it up.

I wonder why Mansley just never makes Mr /co/ when the Giant makes it every year (And kinda far)

Giant Localizers. They have had my favorite campaign in the elite eight, The Iron Giant is a great movie (Spongebob and Aqua Teen are just as great, but I felt like that is something to bring up), Mansley's funny (again, so are their opponents but still) and they have worked their way up here for three years now, suffering two elite eight snubs. Fun fact: Giant Localizers would be the first Tag-Team winners to have paricipated in a previous year together and are thus far the only Tag-Team from a previous year to make it to finals.

Giant localizers, I love both the movie and the characters are too good as a duo. I also love Irate neighbors for basically the same reason, it's practically a coin flip but Giant Localizers have just had too stellar of a campaign and roleplay. Plus, I feel like Carl and Squidward can stand better on their own while Mansley and Rogard really shouldn't be separated. But really I love both teams here, great choices
