This sure is a /tnt/-core semifinals.

I love the diversity in these top four. All four are quite different kinds of teams, yet all fun in execution.

Do you guys have an issue with the same series winning Tag-Team if the teams feature another vastly different series as their partner? Asking out of personal concern.

Being honest, I thought most of them were just whatever and I think it'd be better if you reduced the number of teams next time so you're not so divided. That being said, I liked Regular Duo and Bestest Friends Ever and I'm glad to see the former in Elite Eight.

To tell you the truth, I was kinda shocked to see both Greg and Rowley getting much higher seed compared to how Greg did back in Villains all by himself. I don't know how that happened, but I guess I can't complain.

That's what I did here, I just limit myself to 12 or less mains so I won't get to overwhelmed during the Qualifiers.

I kind of want to rewatch the Iron Giant soon because of this tournament. I haven't seen it in years.

The Iron Giant Duo and Albino buffalo are two teams I'm really liking. One is just an absolute classic, Iron Giant is kino and there's a lot of stuff made of Mansley and the General. Albino Buffalo is really cool to still see in fruition after the friendly 2022 match, especially since Dale and Xavier won't compete in the same year again possibly ever on the main board. Xavier's weird innuendo philosophy and Dale's paranoia make for great writefagging.
Irate neighbors is a lot of fun as well, and Snufkin and Moomins seem basically inseparable as-is, having them go as a team feels much more natural than splitting them up.

Then, here an answer in general of what I personally think.

The best teams are the ones that contain two characters from different series that work fantastically together and both perform well.
The worst teams are the ones that also contain two characters from different series, but do not mesh well or at all, usually nominated for meta reasons.
These are the two extremes, the more a team synergizes, the better it is.

As for teams of characters in the same series, they follow the same rules but are not as good or bad as teams of characters from differing series.
However, teams that are canonical, teams whose characters are meant to be together and don't work well separated are the middle. Obviously, they aren't bad, but I don't think they're great because they could be nominated as one and still campaign as a team.

Sure, let me look at the Qualifiers list.

A team that I think was pretty good was Sea Crab and Man Company, Stan and Krabs. Both have similarities while also being different enough that it isn't just basically the same character twice. They can mesh pretty well together, it's not bad.

A team that I think wasn't great was Propane All Over the Cosmos, Hank and the Silver Surfer. Is there something I'm missing? What is this team? I have to admit I don't know the Silver Surfer too well, but I don't get this team. It doesn't help that I don't think they even did anything.

It's after this that I can confirm Explosivas are officially done. It's not just this but a lot of factors that contributed to it and all revolving Vivzie and her incompetent team (call out to the two selected idiots in ms. /co/ whinning about people criticizing her). That also includes Loona and Gwen already winning the last tournament even if I tried there would be a Hazbin/Total Drama fatigue. The story has been leaked and god it fucking sucks, the redesigns stripped everyone of their charm from the pilot too. I really liked this team but the moment Tag-team 2022 ended I know it was over for Explosivas. They were never good anyways, their run was in part thanks to Numnuts' rigging. With that I can move on to other teams and characters I also like. Finally, to Temp. I hate you. And I really mean it. I'm voting randomized btw

Basically the reason Tag-Team got banned (and got moved here which later led to this board being made) and almost got /co/ tournaments banned because the OP didn't make a thread immediately after the prior archived so they made a nomination OP with loli porn
They stopped entirely around 2020/2021 because they started coming over here to try the same shit and their real, non-vpn general location was mentioned by Blackhand

No. These tournaments are a character joint effort and there's the variety teams can offer each character. I personally like Albino Buffalo but never cared for the Renagades.

This is a tag-team not an individual character effort. Characters should be barred from returning or there's zero point
