Thanks for the fun guys. I'll be back in Mr. /co/ mainly making OC for Shake. Hopefully this is the year he finally breaks into elite eight. He has developed a round 3/4 curse since 2021, but that was an improvement from his round 1 curse prior to that. We also need to break the Monarch's recent round 1 curse. I don't know if I'll be drawing Monarch too since I'll also be campaigning Carl this year who I don't really feel like getting into for this this late. Thanks again.

I really wish I'd been here earlier to partake in some of the glory, but as an antagonist, I guess I should be used to disappointment. You have the thanks of the Monarch for picking up my slack.

Let's go get hammered and plot our vengeance on these fools for next year.

People are really confused by it but I think I have things figured out.
There are several "shows" of various amounts of availability:
>The 2019 3DCG show - Have not completely watched this but is definitely a more "modern" telling in terms of direction.
>The 90s anime with 70-ish episodes - Co-production between Dutch TV and a Japanese animation studio, with Tove Jansson's input if I remember correctly(?) turning it into one of the more accurate ones in atmosphere, but the tone and stories may be a little off since it's more lighthearted. Adds a few original, but fine characters. S2 is said to be worse, but it's only available in Finnish and Japanese if you can hunt it down. Easily the most popular one, since it got like 12 different dubs and was broadcasted across both Europe, Japan and Canada/Australia I think.
>Die Mumin - German/Polish/Austrian felt puppet show. Actually adapts the stories and keeps their tones for the most part, but is inferior to the 90s show in atmosphere, music and art IMO.
>72s anime - Doesn't have any complete subs that I can find online, was made in Japan for Japan based on the children's books. Is more accurate than the 60s anime at least.
>60s anime - Whacky as fuck and completely inaccurate, but good for meme gifs from everything I've seen. Author didn't like it.
>The rest are basically bonus if you can find them, unless you intend on watching the 2014 Moomins on the Riviera movie (french animated feature), or Comet in Moominland (Movie attached to the 90s movie that adapts the book)
As for where to find them, you can find some decent torrents for the anime adaptations on Nyaa.si. The original dub for the 90s version is Japanese, but the "second original" is then the Finnish, or Swedish, I believe. All other dubs seem to base itself off of the Finnish dub in some aspect including the English one. The English dub is alright, but I grew up with the Swedish one which has a different tone to it.
Main issue with all Moomin shows is that they're the kind of stuff that isn't subbed without fansubs, and nobody has completely translated the Japanese subs into English for all of the animated shows. But the English dub should do decently.
I think someone was trying to make the Finnish dub get an English sub, but I'm not sure if they completed that or not.

Another way you could get into it is by reading the old comic strips (unless you wanna read the books), I think they should be hosted on the web somewhere.
In case any question about fanbase pops up, any cancer you see is almost purely a result of pandemic bandwagoning (as far as I can see).

They're the protagonists of two horror-adjacent Youtube animated series. In terms of popularity with the zoomer audiences, they're probably bigger than some of the other characters left (at the very least Moomintroll and Xavier). And no, they aren't about trans shit, but genders are a way of self-expression for young impressionable zoomers who make up a good chunk of their fanbase. They have semi-regular waifufag threads on /co/ (maybe Lacey gets stealth threads on /v/ since her series is somewhat styled to look like Flash games) that are, as you'd expect, really elitist and distance themselves from the main fandom.

Oh, the carrot is a yum-yum veg-e-table!

To snitch from any stand by some fancy slight of hand
Or to purchase from the grocer...if I'm able!

When I chew them, they go crunchy, crunchy, crunch!
As a veg-e-table they're so good to munch
Oh, I'd rather have a carrot, than a zebra or a parrot
'Cause a carrot is me very favorite lunch!

E h h h h h . . .

Hey!...Look out!...Stop!

Hello and welcome to Tag-Team 2023! This just in, we finally reached the E8 and already a battle to behold as these duos fight aggressively to the top.

At match 1, Regular Duo ride their cool bikes towards the flying machine piloted by Springtime. Snufkin attempts to gun down these park workers, but they're too quick and leap their way towards their vessel. Will Springtime sink, or they swim over Regular Duo?

At match 2, the Giant Localizers ended in a war with another giant robot, but this time it's not the Iron Giant; it's none other than the Cracking Cheese Lover and they got the ultimate weapon of choice to stop these troops. The Giant Localizers fire their weapons at the giant robot, but the Cracking Cheese Lover kicks their vehicles away like footballs. Who will win this exciting war, the Yanks or the Brits?

At match 3, Carl tries to strike a move with Lacey who doesn't seemed to look very comfortable. Meanwhile, Squidward runs all over the place as Nia bites his arm in attempt to taste him. There doesn't seem to be any fighting whatsoever....right?

At match 4, Xavier is pulling his old trick on Daffy as he transforms him into a chicken. Chaffy Chicken retaliates by plucking him on the head which doesn't seem to do much damage. On the other hand, Dale looks like he has a good advantage here as he has years of exterminating rodents like Bugs here. However, he isn't widely prepared for slapstick types as the rabbit dodges his poison bombs like an acrobat. Who's gonna take a win here?

Where getting close to the finals, but first we need to find out the four out of the eight contestants to reach the semifinals. Who will they be? Vote now!

Ah yeah, Xavier! Wasn’t he in the Elite Eight with us a year back? Good times. Good times!

Come to think of it, we never actually came head-to-head. I mostly recall him speaking in some kind of new age poetry and talking about scoring with that polygonal girl.
