Mr. Torres, before we begin, would you mind if I visited the bar aboard your ship to talk to that nice old man who's been residing there since Round 4 ended? I have a certain naughty feline to deliver to him.

As for our match, since these are the semi-finals, I propose we raise the stakes and gamble BIG. If I win, you and whichever descendants you leave will be indebted to serve me and my descendants for a MILLION years. If you win, I shall generously donate TEN MILLION dollars to your cause. I think this deal should be plenty attractive to you.

As both the main campaigners for Dracula and Erika, I'll try my best with whoever makes it to finals, despite feeling fatigued with campaigning. If I'm being honest, I think I've done a bad job campaigning this tournament. I feel I focused way more on other characters, and just neglected Dracula and Erika. I think I'm gonna take a little bit to brainstorm OC ideas since I don't want to disappoint anons for this round.

Nothing at all, provided I can transport my possessions out of there first. It can burn for all I care, once I save up enough money to buy my perfect castle I shall leave all these people behind and never look back.

I suppose I could add a portion of those space pirate ships I won recently into the bet since I don't plan on waging wars any time soon. But this is as far as I'm willing to go. Don't get greedy, captain, I've seen plenty of people succumb to this vice right in front of me.

It has been fun, guys. Thank you all for satisfying Louie's hunger up to this point and I hope he and Olimar can make it into King this year especially with Pikmin 4. You better believe I'll be going all out with him and Kiyotaka again when the time comes. These tournaments have been a dream to finally see those two make a good run after they failed to Qualify last King and lost Round 2 in Co-op. As for who I want to be in finals and my reasoning
>Erika
I really don't know why Dracula beat Wily and that will always baffle me. I was really looking forward to the Count even including him in OC I made in Qualfiers, but he kind of disappointed. I know the anon has said the reasons before for why Dracula was silent and I get it. Erika hasn't really been the strongest in this either and yeah, I'm aware they share an anon. I do really like Erika though. I hope if she ends up as Runner-up, it doesn't curse her for Queen because I want to her to finally qualify and win. I will be showing up to do stuff for her in that. Funny that these two are the ones up against each other because inbetween these two tournaments and Co-op, I was reading Umineko and playing Castlevania. That's actually part of the reason I went so overboard with the Louie vs. Umineko OC.
>Torres
This dude's OC has been absolutely amazing and he deserves to win this the most I think. I would like to talk about Celestia now. I will be honest, I used to not really care for her for the obvious petty reasons and just that I found her a bit boring, but her campaign has turned her around for me and made me better understand and appreciate her more. I never thought I would see the day where I was voting for her every round besides last round. And as for 5th to 8th place.
>5th
Louie obviously. I love this idiot and I have already went into my reasons enough for why it was so much fun to campaign him.
>6th
James. He has been a riot and I think it's fair enough to start a riot if NightShift doesn't let him in the polls for King.
>7th
Wily. Definitely the biggest upset of last round and I do like him.
>8th
Kefka. He has great OC but I don't really know anything about him or really have an opinion on him. Sorry.
Now about everyone showing some mild dislike for the results, I get it. I kind of wanted the other half the bracket to win instead too and I don't think there is an issue with being upset and showing some of it, I did a bit last thread, but whatever you do, please don't let this thread be nothing but it. That is all I have to say.

Oh boy, do I. But you'll have to experiment if you want to use her.

https://files.catbox.moe/ao57cw.mp3 - these are Celestia's lines from the English dub of the first game. But the voice actress isn't very expressive and the outputs I've gotten were very robotic. Try at your own risk.
https://files.catbox.moe/708l4h.mp3 - Celestia's lines from the English dub of the anime. This one's simultaneously the best and the worst. The voice actress is much better, and the outputs I've had emoted decently. But the file isn't clean and has background music and other characters speaking a line or two occasionally. As a result, the sound quality in outputs is predictably ass. Every website I've tried to remove the music has made the audio worse. You probably won't want to bother with this.
https://files.catbox.moe/rgel4q.mp3 - Celestia's lines from the original Japanese dub of the first game. Ironicaly, this one would give me the most consistent and decent results. I used it for the final Narrator vocaroo back in Round 3, you could take a listen, though looking back I definitely could've adjusted the volume at Celestia's portion better.

>>47685
Yeah, I could predict you would have an understandable bias against Celestia. With this it mind, it was honestly pretty touching seeing you include her in your Elite 8 OC. I'm glad I could change your mind at least to some extent. As for your current main... Sorry never played Pikmin lol. But your campaign was definitely deserving of E8. The pipe strip was my favorite.

I've been doing experimenting this whole Tourney, it's fun, but it cost me 22$...
Thankfully, I'm also somewhat knowledgable in how to clean up sound files and I've got multiple softwares that'll help at that job.
I'll try to take some more time tomorrow to figure out how Celestia's supposed to sound, and also get her some dialogue written. Thankfully I don't think I'm too bad at using other's characters... But it wouldn't hurt to have extra material, so maybe we can just turn a back-and-forth reply chain into something with the aim of creating something fun.
But I need to sleep now.

I think what mainly contributed to my bias is how poorly chapter 3 was handled. For example, I always liked Korekiyo despite him killing Angie who I also really liked because I found the trial hilarious, the characters not stopped in the middle ot development, and his motive perfectly insane. Also, I absolutely recommend checking out Pikmin. The games are great and surprisingly addictive. They're really short though. They are simple real-time strategy games with a limited time to beat them (well 3 is way too easy if you collect all the fruit since they removed the actual timer). Pikmin 2 is what I based Louie's campaign off of and is much bigger departure from 1 and 3 being much more focused on collecting than time management with the timer being more or less irrelevant since you have unlimited days and time doesn't pass inside the caves which is where the games collectables mostly are. 4 is looking to be more like 2 than 1 or 3.

Him being asleep was funny, although I know you said in a previous thread that you weren't as passionate about him this go around, so it makes sense why he wasn't so active.

I've heard of Drill Dozer, so maybe I'll check it out soon. I wonder what her campaign would be.

Side note: I feel bad for taking out two of your guys (Satan and Can Combine). I remember you said Erika vs. Can was the second time one of your characters was against Erika round 1, and Louie's anon also said I beat some of his characters in previous tournaments. I shouldn't be surprised tho since this place is a lot smaller than /v/. Still, sorry about that. I liked your stuff.

Thank you for your thoughts.

MissingNo was a bit sad to lose so quickly, especially against Trazyn who didn't do anything at all.
Canbine was at least a fun match, so I didn't mind losing him so soon.
I'm glad you like Satan, he's fitting to post here. He's most likely be back in Co-op, since I'm not sure if he'll qualify in the main tourney.
I was a bit less passionate for Cortex due to his seed, but it was mostly because he went against a silent character and then the character I wanted the most in. Still a fun character, will be back in Co-op with a new teammate.
The Great Might Poo is a funpost, I think Grox winning was better overall.
Wish Leshy had won, but that didn't stop me from having fun with him. P03 certainly enjoyed his performance.
Merasmus would have been fun, but there's always next time.
Drill Dozer is a fun GBA game, best game made by Game Freak and I'll keep repeating it. As for her campaign, it would have consisted of thievery and drilling.

And don't worry about taking out my characters, I don't mind losing them to characters that are present.

Battler's immediate rise and immediate fall from grace is so sad. It's very clear people are pretty passionate about him and he is probably the most discussed character in the tournaments but he can't even make a sweet 16. At the same time, it can be hard to feel bad for some of his fans because they bring it upon themselves for their known history of not being able to take loss well. I really wonder how things will play out come main tournament season.

>Thresher
That Beatrice video was hilarious. A part of me wanted to see another but at the same time, I loved the OC I made against Beatrice too much.
And since you are curious. Porky was supposed to have a jsnny campaign where he was a neet inside the Absolutely Safe Capsule while his minions did all the work and I would have still rotated between them each round. I was going to do my own edits of all the Janny memes like the Ducktales Hot Pocket jump and the Spopovich Videl Pepe punch. For Fang, he was going to take bounties from the heroes of each villain but in Fang fashion, he's too clumsy to pull it off. As an example, I had the idea if he faced Bernkastel to do a John Wilkes Booth style theatre assassination but he falls off the balcony. I also considered trying out writefagging with him, Bean, and Bark and my original idea for this image was Bean and Bark to put up vote him posters that get his name constantly wrong as a joke about how the character had two names (now three because of Superstars changing Sniper to Hunter) but I scrapped them because I felt it would have been too similar to Slyanon's campaign in some ways. I was quite surprised at how many votes he got in Qualifiers. I actually planned on nominating him at least a month before his return in Superstars was announced too.

If we're doing this, do you have any thoughts on Kazuya in the tournament? Personally speaking, I would've never imagined him getting into an insane bracket, especially since fighting game characters don't regularly do well in these tourneys. There's him getting into a tie with Jetstream Sam in round 1, going into a three-way with Sam and Vergil and winning round 2, going into and winning ANOTHER three-way based on the KKK of all things (I hope there are no hard feelings, Karlanon and Kaneanon, you guys did well), and then his magnificent battle in round 4 with Torres, who I'm perfectly content having my guy lose to. All of these were big names for sure, and I couldn't be more proud of Kazuya for making it far, and the OC-making was fun as well. Although winning those matches felt very stressful and the rigging accusations from those discouraged me a little, leaving me really tired by the time of round 4. I hope this doesn't hurt his chances for next time.

Delivered. I honestly don't feel too happy about this one because for some reason Karl doesn't have a SFM available. So I had to lurk for a Blender one. The first was the one with old hair and didn't have bones to move, the second one (this one) had the bones but they were from the crappy old versions of the program plus missed textures, he was purple when he was imported. Karl had like one thousand bones (on his face) because of that I couldn't give him an specific expression. I hope it looks convincing enough.

-Having to switch between several characters at once.
-Too focused on drawing OC art for either one
-Real life putting a heavy toll on me

Maybe if I did more, most of my mains could've moved more higher at the top.

That's good. I also wanted to do more with him in the beginning, but since Sam was dead silent I never had a chance to do back-and-forth with him which would've made Kazuya more vocal from the start. Even with round 1 being a major target for upsets, I'm still shocked that the match was a tie to begin with. Sam may have more tourney recognition, but I was hoping Kazuya would win it because of my OC.

>>47785
I wonder what relatively overlooked thing from /co/ is going to make a similarly unexpected run, although the chances of someone else getting into a tie and then winning two three-ways seems next to impossible to recreate, but who knows.

>>47786
Thank you. As for the spoiler, I think part of it is because the outcome for both Kazuya/Sam/Vergil and KKK was the underdog rising up against former Elite 8 members and opponents who had impressive campaigning all at once. I'm honestly surprised to see Kazuya won those matches even though I've contributed to those rounds, and unfortunately those victories made him an easy target for rigging allegations just because he took out a few big names. There's nothing you can really do about it, it just sucks. It's partially why I decided to go all out on my OC for round 4, as I wanted to show that Kazuya can indeed live up to his victories and that the opponents' losses weren't in vain.

>>47787
Thanks. Likewise, I was half-expecting someone else to nominate Heihachi and he would've been cool to campaign for, but I went with Kazuya instead because I liked him more as a character and thought he had greater OC potential. I think Jin is better suited for Heroes in comparison and it also gives me an idea for a Co-op team.

>>47794
Agreed. Kazuya definitely had a unique bracket going for him and him making the Elite would've been neat, but reaching Sweet 16 (17?) is sufficient enough for me, and Torres happened to be the character I was hoping to make Elite the most anyway. Karl and Kane's tie was also really bizarre since we already had two three-ways in round 2. At the very least, the KKK three-way was undoubtedly kino for a happy accident; all three characters had stuff in common.

I guess I should also mention that the sudden increase in voters between round 1 (114) and round 2 (136) caused some anons to be suspicious of the results (especially since round 1 had an extra hour). There's also the fact that the number of voters for rounds 3 and 4 remained consistent with 2's before drastically dropping to 73 when quarter-finals happened. While this may simply be chalked up to round 4 consisting of upsets for every match, I'm worried as a Kazuyanon that this may very well hurt his chances in future tourneys, combined with the rigging allegations that eerily coincided with his run. Again, nothing you can really do about it, the situation just sucks in general.

>Eggman
Hilarious campaign and honestly a very intuitive use of what in my opinion only started as a forced gag. I'm excited to see what's next for Ivo.
>Wily
Reminded me of how much I loved playing Megaman games as a kid. As far as your list goes he was probably my favorite, and going further than Eggman was a fitting turn of events.
>Dedede
Dedede is fun on his own, and you did a good job campainging for him, but I prefer von Karma both as a villain, as a campaign, and wish he could have moved forward.
>Astaroth
I had fun chatting with him, I will at least say he was decent.
>Dark Matter
No strong opinions.

And please don't stop making those comics, they are a great addition to the threads. Your doodles are also very cute.

Decent both during and outside of the tournament.
>Cortex
I enjoy the gag with him being asleep but it was obvious you weren't as excited to support him this time around.
>James/Team Rocket
Very fun, the only times I didn't vote for them was these last matches but because their opponents were more fitting for the title of villains, nothing to do with whether or not they are vidya enough.
>Stanley
Very good, definitely has my vote for the next co-op. even if personally don't like the Stanley Parable.
>Isaac

Felt extremely tempted to vote for him, only problem is he was againts Erika.

As for those who couldn't qualify, I felt curious in what you had planned to do with Steve, but alas. And Ramblin' Evil Mushroom should have made it, yes.

>>47747
>Louie
I don't know a single thing about Pikmin, but I was very interested in knowing your reasons for campaiging for him here. A character that, as you put it, is "both simutaneously autistically stupid and intentionally malicious to the point not even the fans are sure if he's really evil or not" was really, really fun to have here. Great campaing.
>Porky
I wish he could have gone farther. The courtroom vids of Salsa and the Pigmask Army were my favorite OC of that round.
>Fang
I voted for him during qualifiers.

>>47752
>Bernkastel
Good campaign and I like the character too. And yes the literal playthrough of Luigi's Mansion was a great idea.
>Manfred von Karma
I fucking love von Karma and it's even better with how hilarious he's here. I hope he didn't just lose because Nick already won Heroes.
>Angela, Roland
Already said I missed actually having them participate here.
>Binah
Pretty cool, liked the RP. Otherwise no strong opinions.
>Thresher
KEK, the video with Beatrice and Reginald was great.

>>47821
>Flowey, Muffet
I actually like Undertale, so it was refreshing to see somebody campaiging for some of its characters here too. Out of the two, you did Muffet best.
>Shazam
Troll joke pick, but I keked hard during the match againts AM.I really hope you weren't trying to be genuinely antagonistic.

>>47759
I never hated the King Boo campaign in the first place, but what you have done with him in this tournament is a very clear improvement. Excellent matches and very entertaining banter all around.

>>47768
Kefka was honestly my top pick to win this entire thing, both a combination of VI being my favorite FF alongside IX and the great banter and campaiging since the very beginning of the tourney - I don't think your rping ever went too OOC. I had more stuff I wanted to do for our match, like making some more vocaroos and things such as drawing AM as the warring triad, but irl stuff wouldn't allow me more time.
Will be doing the same as Bernkastel anon and replay FFVI, it's already been too long since last time.

btw are you the same anon who campaigns for Snufkin in Mr. /co/? Anyway, I want to say you have great taste in media and godspeed until next time.

>>47782
Great campaign and I can say I'm one of the anons who voted for him for the most part. In regards to the rigging accusations, while I think there's something fishy going on with the votes, I wouldn't let it get it through me. I hope your guy has a chance in King this year.

Thank you for your thoughts.

I wasn't as excited for Cortex mostly because of the matches he got. Had he gotten a better bracket, I would've probably done more.
Team Rocket are very much villains, but I suppose they aren't too evil, so I understand.
Fair. I still would have continued campaigning for the man of the can, even had some ideas for potential matches. I wonder if I could nominate him and the can for Co-op like Torres and his ship?
What I had in mind with Steve was going to be used by the Villager, which was to use Minecraft as a source of OC. Plenty of things you can do with it, like: build stuff, maybe make drawings in pixel art, redstone contraptions, changing the textures or even outright modding the game (though that is out of my league). At least, I did manage to do a bit of that in qualifiers, with the BAHttler thing. I think I'll continue to nominate the Villager instead of Steve, though, I think he has better potential interaction with others than him.
And yes, the Mushroom should've qualified. I did have plans with him, he wasn't just a complete joke, he would have had mushroomized his opponents, bringing them all along with him. Also, he cute

Also, in this case, I assume this ends up being CATS, Muffet, Stanely and Team Rocket's time to jump in, especially if their anons wanna try something. I'd planned for CATS to show up in the sound file at least.
Of course, there's some people who wanna be on the Alicorn as well...

>I prefer von Karma both as a villain, as a campaign, and wish he could have moved forward.
I don't mind Dedede being von Karma because I wasn't as active with Manfred as I wanted to be. If I had more time after beating Luigi's Mansion, I would've put Dedede on trial for stealing Pop Star's food, and he would've been found guilty due to eating the stolen food while on the witness stand.
>I hope he didn't just lose because Nick already won Heroes.
I was scared he would lose round 1 because of that and Quint being a big meme here, so I was happy to see that wasn't the case. I definitely want to do stuff with him and Franziska for the next Co-op cause he's really fun to campaign for.

Thanks for the comment.

Both of Byakuren and Miko's lack of votes disappointed me because I have great OC ideas for them if they both got in. The idea was that they would teach the viewers on each of their religion and they would use their opponents as demonstrations, but they're usually comedic and don't really take itself seriously.

I would've liked Fawful in the tournament too; his broken english and insulting his opponent could've been funny. Bob-Omb King also sounded fun too with him treating the entire tournament as if were a warzone.

Regardless, at least I still have both King Dice and Susie which were both my favorites to campaign with.

Can wait to see your OC content.

Muffet and Stanley don't really have official spoken lines, though I guess there are plenty of fan voiceovers on Youtube for the former and the Narrator could speak for the latter.
Here's a fan voiceover for Muffet (includes music): Muffet Battle [UNDERTALE Dub]youtube thumb
And I've got an audio sample for the Narrator: https://files.catbox.moe/s6y27n.mp3

Mixing in three separate voices for the entirety of Team Rocket on top of everything else seems like too much work for just one anon. You could maybe just insert their generic greeting "prepare for trouble" etc.

I'm gonna finish the Round 6 comic real soon and it'll have the lines from all these characters you can include.

He was alright and his match with Satan was funny. Being related to wrestling meant he had to job early to bring balance to the threads. My allegiance is to boxing. Being serious, I wish he beat Giygas. Giygas is cool but he didn't really do much. It's kind of funny he won a bit by silentfagging considering Mother's records in this tournament. >I like Cuphead and King Dice but he didn't win me over in this at first and I voted for Terumi because I really liked him in Qualifiers. I did like King Dice in Round 2 though.

He was the most fun to campaign with in this tournament. Making him tell everyone to place all their bets on him like a gamble was the best part, as well as him smooth-talking his opponent while trying to win the gamble. If only I have the time to do more campaigns with him, he could've move more higher.

>He was alright and his match with Satan was funny. Being related to wrestling meant he had to job early to bring balance to the threads. My allegiance is to boxing. I was real surprised to see how Rawk Hawk lost to Giygas of all people since he didn't have much campaign. A match between him and Louie would've been produce more funny OC content.

>She was also just alright.

I have some fun with Susie as she treated the whole thing like a business competition. Maybe I could've give her slightly more campaign for good measure.

>These two were a great duo. His quest to recieve the affections of a minor while Rulue was trying to get his attention was funny. I'm definitely nominating these two for Co-op if it happens alongside Arle and another character. If successful, I'll post the screenshot of that Peaches parody from this tournament.

I kinda wished at least one of them reached the Elite Eight soon but thanks to the lack of time to campaign them, it was bound not to happen soon.

You'd probably need to use AC7 in some capacity. The game is somewhat moddable, and has an inbuilt replay function, including multiplayer.
The issue is that Mobius One is just a silent murderhobo, it's why I just tend to run with the protagonist's sidekicks (like Count) or the villains.

Oh and actually, Ace Combat 04 has 1v1 as well on emulator, but it isn't that moddable as far as I'm aware (which you'd need to use modify the ROM for somehow).

For Byakuren, I used her voice clips from Danmaku Kagura

The samples are a bit quiet, but I thought the results turned out very nicely. The AI program I've been using for this tournament is ElevenLabs, so I can't say how other programs would handle them. If I find some for Mima, I might try something for her match against Kefka a couple rounds back.

Impressive work as usual. I'll take some pride in knowing this match with Celestia got you to make your longest vocaroo yet. Which voice did you end up using for her? I'm assuming you cleaned up the anime audio sample?

Yes, I ran the anime sample through https://github.com/Anjok07/ultimatevocalremovergui and then hand-picked what I thought were some of the best samples. And got rid of some extra noise/voices still left in the clip. Seems to have worked well.
The rest of the vocaroo features... Command Duty Officer (my fucking hero), Binah, Thresher, Louie, Kazuya, Bass.exe, James, Stanely's Narrator, CATS and Celestia herself. I'd have included more (and more dialogue) but it started getting way too long and I still wanna try drawing something... For now that thing will be a bit of an AC04 tribute, but I hope it was to one's liking.

Hello everybody, we're here at the semi-finals and we only have one more round to go before we can finally announce the winner of this tournament.

At Match 1, Erika dash forwards and gives Dracula a good cutting but being a vampire, it didn't do so much for him as he survives the blows and retaliated by blasting her with a fiery bang. It's not over for Erika though as she makes her way towards her opponent who turns himself into bats and surrounded her in a swarm. Will Erika stop the count, or will he be the one moving to the finals?

At Match 2, Celestia dodges all of Torres's projectiles and makes a leap for his ship. The captain tries to shoot the gambler down with cannons, but she quick on her feet and breaks into his submarine. Torres was all prepared for this, as he unleashes a large missile to blast her away. Will Torres win this second gamble, or will Celestia comes out clean?

Who will be the winners to enter the finals and claim victory? Vote now and find out!

I'm happy to see people liked Fang. I was scared he would have been completely drowned out by the other Sonic reps and even though he wouldn't have survived even a four rule, the fact he still got as many votes in Qualifiers as the top 60 and tied with Shadow made me happy to see. I hope his small resurgence in the Sonic franchise gives him more love.
