I, DIMESCETTE-SAMA, Empress of /v/ and the stock market, proudly reign over:

BLUEPILL Valentine, Queen of all jobbers and my slave.

Battler USHITromiya, my one and only true Jester and other slave.

KWABura, my other jester and slave.

Alice, who I have become far stronger than.

5-volt, who my friends needlessly warned me about.

SiSSYven Universe, who cried like a BITCH when he saw /v/'s power.

Shantae, who provided a light workout and awakened my wish to become the richest in the universe.

Roll, who got rid of most of my fodder enemies after I cunningly provoked her JUST AS PLANNED.

Naoto ShiroKAWBe, whose incomparably puny arrest warrants availed her not to a WHIT and was rightfully cast out of Wall Street by my hand

JOBotsuki, whose hour-long sparring session gave me uncontrollable power level gains so massive even the time spent image training in my office cannot compare.

Dr. KEKman, who i knocked out of his super form with ease and proceeded to beat the shit out of.

The Hunger games, whose ""power"" I am not scared of (I hope they don't kill my beloved punching bags, but I am also too amused to help them....)

Correct me if I'm wrong but I do remember that Jager/Scout poster came here once during mid 2023 and saw all the shïtposting around Marisa/John Ward, only to comment that he didn't really indulge in the secondary tournaments hosted here. Then Schizo Scout was born and the rest is history. If anything, that would make it a reaction to /tnt/'s own autism.

Apart from May and Dawn, the protagonists are honestly worse than the NPCs, because those at least have characteristics attached to them. Most of the players are just that, the players. May and Dawn are the best because they at least are characters if you pick Brendan and Lucas at the start (or if you use the anime, since that's where their real character is). Not that it matters, they would just silently lose early and that's it.
Misty was a good rep, but I feel like she's not going to qualify again. Instead, it'll probably be Gardevoir and either two protagonists or one protagonist and Cynthia.

AM just seems too odd and not universal enough. There'd be too much baggage in the end about not being vidya or being a slab and point and click ect. that he would look werid next to an icon that fits a king /v/ bill perfectly like JC. AM feels like an "E8 filler" kind of pick in that he's cool and hype enough to keep making it that far but never gonna be the guy that wins if he were to make finals, unless by some weird circumstance his opponent is someone even more off-kilter like another former whitelist pick.

>that he would look werid next to an icon that fits a king /v/ bill perfectly like JC
And look at how JC vs Shadow went. Ironically, King of /v/'s has been nothing but odd off-kilter picks that lack universal appeal through the last few years.

A man with a plan. With a will and the power to implement it. Would create a land for the truly free, damn it. Best outcome.
>Dante
Would shirk responsibility, inevitably leading to chaos, but would help out from time to time. 2nd best outcome.
>Batter
Would purify the land. 2nd worst outcome.
>Jack
In his amnesiac form he's only interested in killing Chaos. Same outcome as Dante. In his awakened form he's plunging the land into darkness to prepare the Warrior of Light to eventually replace him. Regular outcome.

Would try and perhaps even lead the land to prosperity. But something will inevitably go wrong and it'll lead to a fuck-up so profound that Batter's purification is needed. Worst outcome.

Protagonist wise May would be preferable if you're willing to trade silence for fatfagging (the may drawfag is also the fed hood drawfag) otherwise I'll agree some boring crap like Dawn or Hilda would be a massive waste of a slot. Misty was actually the extremely rare good Pokemon pick in Queen /v/ this year. I think Gardevoir/Misty/Cynthia is the most preferable combination while still being realistic.

Finished the map and all that is left now is to roughly map out where who will be. Then I learn basic modding so I can make everyone immortal. Generally everyone would get the same amount of provinces, province development would be randomized and everyone will get a colonist to get unclaimed (gray) land.
Here are some ideas I have in mind:
Recette and Morshu are pseudo merchant "republics" and are on the best trade nodes in the game. They are also Jewish.
John is a stand in for the Papacy so Catholics can get cardinals appointed.
Vince, Icon of Sin and King Boo are Animist and thus more likely to ally with eachother and less with everyone else. Though about putting Vince next to the Black Sea and make him Fetishist but decided on the Alps instead.
Torres is the naval power of the Mediterranean. Gets a bit more provinces to compensate for all of the unconnected land.
I thought about Armstrong and he will either get something in Ireland or South Spain. Undecided for Jack, Grimm, JC and Grox Empire. Everyone will also get a name for their state. Fell free to suggest someone or something if it comes to mind. They will be mostly monarchies but there are shit ton of religions and cultures that can be picked.

English Channel is better than Genoa in my opinion but maybe not as good as Venice, I'm kind of tempted to say put Recette in Caen/Calais instead both so she's in that trade node and also next to Batter, plus her game takes place in france iirc but Genoa is also good
Anyways here's some suggestions
>Steve
Northern Sweden right above NotParadox, since Minecraft is (or was at least) a Swedish game. Banjo can get a single 3 dev province in Lapland sandwiched between Steve and Eggman both so he's next to Steve and also so he immediately jobs
>Peppino
Naples easily since it's the home of pizza. It also fits since he's next to John (Catholic friend) and sandwiched between all the fighting gangs so he'll have something to be constantly stressed out about. Someone suggested Mario and Luigi for southern Italy but I think they work just as well anywhere else in Italy
>Jack Frost
Northern Russia next to Cirno since they're both ice fairies
>JC Denton
Jerusalem/Lebanon, both because Jerusalem is the holy land and heavily associated with Jesus Christ, and because Israel has a million conspiracy theories attached to it so that's up his alley as well. State Religion can be some kind of protestant (Hussite maybe?) so he can be defected from a major world organization
>Palutena
Athens, pretty self explanatory. Maybe Pit can be a separate state nearby as a vassal or something

Roland can be moved to southern France near the border of Spain because of The Song of Roland. Alternatively you can keep him in Berlin and have Mari take Hamburg.
Dante can get England since Redgrave City in DMC5 was inspired by various English cities.
Dracula gets Transylvania, self-explanatory.
Revolver Ocelot gets Moscow due to working for both the KGB and GRU.
Leon gets somewhere in Spain because of RE4, while Chris gets Iceland because it has nine active volcanoes.

Responses per Round: 926 – 831 – 746 – 859 – 831 – 880 – 1030
Round 3 was the only round during which the voting form wasn't shared to /sthg/ (since Shadow was up against another Sonic rep). The final round was the only one where the voting form was shared more than twice. The difference between JC and Shadow was as little as 80 votes.

I pick Recette for my least favorite because a lot of reception was just "Mado should've won" and now Mado has won and Recette is mostly remembered for Aerd and now Hexfag funposting. Aerd is probably the worst possible artist a character could be attached to as far as 4chan goes and Hexfag is probably fine at the end of the day but he says some real dumb shit sometimes
I picked Shadow for worst King because Jack Garland at least has the excuse of being a Final Fantasy character and for what it's worth his game is the best thing from that franchise in quite some time. If we're talking thread presence then Shadow is superior and had the better finale. It's kind of a tie but I had to pick one, and Shadow is fresh in my mind. I also do think it's strange JC lost when both he and Deus Ex as a whole are so beloved across /v/, it'd be like if the Demi-fiend got overpowered in finals by Geno after SMRPG2 and a Smash reveal. I get why it happened but it doesn't make for a good winner in hindsight

meh. I guess he's not bad but in the context of being against JC and being boosted by the same tourney tropes of three prior years it comes across as an underwhelming pick in hindsight.
>Favorite Queen
Close between Midna and Samus. I'm surprised at the generally low ranking reception Midna gets, and I suspect this is sort of a tourneyfag thing since she wasn't really a very flamboyant or special feeling winner. She's just a generally agreeable kind. I suspect if you asked the general userbase of /v/ they'd have her up there near Samus overall.
>Least Favorite Queen
Recette. Still just an underwhelming oddball to me. Has turned into a kind of funny meta mascot/joke at this point though.
>Favorite king
Dante. He just rocks and feels more solid over time.
>Least Favorite King
Batter. eehhh okay character, but the win was the least about his character or game out of any winners yet. Also kind of the big meta mascot alongside Recette but in less of a jokey fashion and more serious arguing.

I would say it's effectively a "tourneyfag thing" in the way Midna's win wasn't very grandiose compared to other champions, but I think the NSA/OFA controversy is what might have tainted her. I saw some people accuse her of having been rigged through all four tourneys without facing many if any retorts. That's another thing, Midna is one of the winners with the least thread presence and out of all the fans she has few are actually vocal, which I think circles back to the first point.

Cause it's a stupid troll-tier statement. The first year which established her as a pure powerhouse had nothing to do with NSA, the third year when NSA was there she lost early. It's believable after the revelations of who NSA supported that she had or could have won 2022 naturally unlike, say, Wuya who was a straight R1 jobber for five years and never got that close before until a year of massive vote removals/halved turnout with NSA at the reigns who drew much more for them.

I remember the atmosphere in 2022 being this very strained attempt at not offending anyone else and Midnafags actually managed to behave themselves until the afterparty, which I applaud them for. Bowser still can't make it to the elite 8 after all these years? Generally dies early even with campaigning? He won in a deathbattle video, so now he's a big penis alpha powerhouse.

The worst part about queen is it's so tempting to hornypost, but doing so destroys their chance of winning. Campaigning for Midna amd Curly was walking on a boner minefield.
Amaterasu's 2023 run was great, but once that one guy posted that excellent drawing of her with barely-covered giant breasts, it was over.

Going off the results on /tnt/ Mado's regarded as a pretty good winner overall, most agreeing she's great to fantastic. Shadow is much more ambivalent, some like him a lot, most thinking he's average to some degree of bad.

Shadow didn't have the routine of changing his pic everytime he defeated a new opponent unlike Garland. Nothing confirms if those 80 were ALL for Shadow when back in the threads sthg barely interacted with the poll or even responded to it because they were too busy throwing shit at each other.

Where are you getting the "exactly and precisely 80 votes" thing from anyway? The whole argument goes as follows:
>the voting numbers are more or less consistent throughout the tournament
>the anon spamming the form in /sthg/ doesn't share it during round 3 because Shadow is up against Metal Sonic so why bother
>round 3 sees a drop of approximately 80 votes
>the finals, where the form was shared way more than during the previous rounds - 9 times in total - sees a boost in voting numbers
>JC lost by approximately 80 votes so the /sthg/ thing could very well have affected the results
It's all guesswork. We don't know how many /sthg/ anons voted, we don't know how many discord faggots voted. But the numbers show that it could've been possible for /sthg/ to affect the results.

Making the following threads that the poll wasn't posted even more evident sthg was barely paying attention to it. You can argue the gap between round 1 and 2 was because many characters losing, that's a possibility. so it's also a possibility (even less likely) that sthg may have had an input somehow, but then we also said the same thing about Grimm and the discord server which had tons of people on it and nowadays everyone loves Grimm.

Wouldn't it be funny if there was a /tv/ tournament and Shadow also won that?

That would be amusing but I think it also depends on how lenient the /tv/ rules would be with /v/ stuff

I keep saying it and I'll continue to say it, a /tv/ tournament should allow anyone and everyone as long as they've been on film.

Memes aside, how did this even become an argument?
There's like 4 stories where Superman has ten fucktillion strength. In practically everything else, especially justice league stories, he struggles against a bunch of Piccolo Daimao level mooks. Vegeta and Nappa were devastating earth without even trying in the Saiyan saga, and Goku's gotten thousands of times more powerful since then. No way is Doomsday going to beat a threat like Majin Boo or DBS Broly, and Doomsday put Superman in a near-fatal coma.
Call it whatever you like, but I'm a FIRM believer that Goku beats 99.9% of Superman incarnations
