Overall the Jannies have definitely gotten less anal. You have to remember everything in late 2020 was when Fusefag was mid-tantrum and on the war path. We're just lucky his breaking point moment came during Tag Team instead of earlier. NSA also absolutely exaggerated the strictness of the time limits for her own reasons to make the ratfuck less obvious.

While he might be one of the biggest faces in /co/, the closest thing he could ever reach this year is either the quarterfinals or round 4. While he did got some boost in popularity on Tag-Team, I don't really see if he could end up as good as last year.

Easily one of the biggest hitters in Mr. /co/ history, so I think he has another chance to reach the E8 once again. Maybe he could win this year, but I'm not going to bet on it just yet. Right now, he looks like could end up as a runner-up at the very least.

Another very huge hitter but has far more potential of winning this year than Courage. Right now, he seems to be getting some hype right now and unless the Daffyanon is planning to be in this tournament, the chances of winning could be very likely.

While not as big as he was before, he could have a chance to get a solid run. Though the lack of vocal support back in 2022 will probably lower any hype for him. But if silentpicks like Nami and Frankie back in Ms /co/ could get some huge campaigning, hopefully Grim can get some love too.

Can't really see him getting anywhere as far as the E8 compared to 2022 and thanks to the unfunny Mr Krab funpost that's getting old real quick, he'll likely to get jobbed out of spite. However just like Carl, the boost he got from Tag-Team could help him, but will just have to see.

Very unlikely he'll get anywhere as far as round 4 and probably will end in the same position as Mrs. Brisby. The only reason he got support was because of his status as an "anti-FOTM" pick but now with the lack of picks like these, Sam won't go anywhere further than before.

Same position as ENA; unless he gets some huge campaigning from before (probably from the same ENAbros back in Ms. /co/), there's a chance he could reach the E8 again this year. However unless the Xavieranon is going there, high hopes won't be enough to get him far.

Both are big hitters and could be the ones to finally break the runner-up curse. Not sure where exactly they'll fall, but barring really unlucky seeding I think they'll either trot back to the E8 or be important gatekeepers for anyone else who might make it this year. I would say it's fair to say they're the two big hitters here.

He's a powerhouse and might get some actual campaigning this year. He's another winner contender, but my gut feeling is that he isn't AS likely to outright take the crown as Carl or Daffy. Still think he's another safe bet to return to E8 if nobody blocks him out.

He's a terrifyingly strong silent pick, but I could see him falling off this year. People still love the character, but I think he feels less invincible than Carl, Daffy, and Courage. Might do better with campaigning, but I'm predicting even that won't give him an easy path to victory. He just seems a little too "there" if that makes sense, compared to the aforementioned trio all having more to discuss around them. Then again, Frankie had a lot align to turn her into a winning pick, so I wouldn't count out Grim entirely.

He's a surprise wildcard. I believe some underestimate him: he's had a strong streak even before making Elite Eight, and while the less vocal part of the team he still made finals in his first tag-team run alongside Carl. SpongeBob also made the Elite Eight last year, so the show already is recurring now in the E8. He definitely needs campaigning to have a winning path, and he might just not be able to beat out some of the crazy hitters. Still, I think he has an actual shot to return to E8 depending on the bracket, and maybe even get into at least semis this time.

On a side note, I don't believe the Mr. Krabs funposting matters much. Squidward usually brushes it off fine, and if anything the actual spite target over it is obvious.

He's a wild card, and I'd say he has a better shot at topping his current record IF he returns to the Elite Eight. Still, he is more of a wild card and could just die unfortunately early. Some picks just need momentum rounds, and if Xavier isn't afforded that he might stumble early. Of course, IF he doesn't get any campaigning I think he'll miss out on E8. I expect people to do that, but just putting it out there now.
