question, should the series name for Kiryu still be called Yakuza or should it be called Like a Dragon now? it's mostly because there's an inconsistency in pages where Kiryu's page has it named as Yakuza but in some result tables it's called Like a Dragon

Like a Dragon is the official name, so you may just use it to avoid confusion. Maybe add "Kiryu originates from the Like A Dragon series, formerly known as Yakuza" to his own article or something.

The rule for the old wiki (and I guess unofficial for the current one?) was you either needed to qualify for a major tournament or be otherwise notable (say, getting 0 votes in qualifiers or winning a side tournament, not getting elite 8 on side tournament or anything else). The random ones you see like Ruby or the Goldfish got grandfathered in before that was made a rule.
Don't know if the new admin is keeping this rule or not but they should.

Might be in the minority but I say they're fine if they have enough notable presence despite never qualifying for a main tournament.
The Grox is kind of my go-to example for this. Mofo has never made bracket in the big leagues but appears insanely frequently everywhere else since about 2020 at the very earliest, with even some decent results to boot (IIRC he's made Top 32 more then once.) Tails is also another notable example for being a little bitch.
Some other stuff like the weird Frumplequest & Kogoro Mouri digit duo are also interesting enough to me that I feel should be cataloged someway but are in no way important enough for an entire article. Maybe make a page for Minor Characters? I remember someone complaining about the Goldfish so maybe they can be moved there

I can name almost zero characters (besides those that won a side-tourney) that didn't qualify for a tournament before but are worthy of an article. Kent is one of the very few exceptions because he won so he'll have enough content to cover this page (and I think he qualified close to making it) but people are proposing every character who got OC gets a page even if they've done jackshit for the tournaments, and you are destined to have every page look like this if you aren't even somewhat strict with who gets one.

Early content creators on Youtube treated it much akin to places like the original MySpace where their...unique...interests could be publicly displayed. We take it for granted now, and the demographic has largely changed but, very early on, these and low-effort DragonBall Z / Breaking Benjamin "AMV's" were all the rage. Of course, this was back in the days where people didn't need to ask what YTMND meant. You need to also remember that the software needed to make videos like this weren't that common or affordable, so the kinds of people making them were technologically savvy and with a good amount of disposable time/income.

And we all know what hilarity that perfect storm can create.

So, I've currently scoured through most of the wiki profiles to know just how many of them are outdated or just plain badly made. Although it turned out to be quite a bit, the thing that actually made me most interested is regarding results pre and post 2021. Don't take this as getting into any conclusions but there was just something off? Every other year prior to 2021 had some semblance of consistency year before it, albeit if it were results, seed, etc.
With 2021 I noticed everything just went haywire and everything seemed to be all over the place with seedings and results.

So two questions on the statistics page:

1. How do I make the coluums be equal with each other? (Or at least make the last three smaller?)

2. How would I go on to make a list that can automatically put the highest results upon a click like on wikipedia pages? Like we have the standard list then we have from lowest to highest ones for each column.

Added the FARTS girls to the statistics page. Shego has the best overall average, almost the same as Jessica Rabbit.

Also, it seems that whoever did Chel included her third vs. fourth match victory into her win average. I'm not sure we should be doing that unless we want to be meticulous and ALSO bother with figuring out the percentages in 5th-8th placements. For this reason, when calculating the FARTS percentages, I didn't account for matches for third place.

Third vs Fourth match is a bit different to the 4th to 8th placements.
The match for the third place is made in a poll like every other match in the tournament while the elite eight placement has an entirely different spin that cannot be accounted for the average. Instead of a poll to choose two options, you have four options with four choices which results in who has the higher number, not percentage.

As I said, the match for the third place goes like every other match in the tournaments so I don't see why it should be excluded.

Sure, 3rd vs. 4th is easier to account for, but it's a question of principle. 5th to 8th and 3rd vs. 4th are both matches that fall somewhat outside of the normal tourney standards, it's characters who already lost competing for arbitrary placements. So in my mind, we should either account for both of them or for neither of them.

We've always listed a character's campaign history as part of their pages though. Plenty of pages have stuff like that (ie Livesey, Doofenshmirtz, Jetstream Sam, etc) it's one of the main points of having character pages in the first place is to record notable happenings with certain characters along with their round results.
If there are character pages that are missing information about their campaigns you're free to add that to them

Minor thing to note, nothing huge, just a host mistake, but maya fay actually got 6th instead of 7th back in 2022.
In that QoV NSA used a averaging method for the 5-8th place match. Voting for a girl to be in 5th place would grant them a full 1 point, voting for them to be in 6th would give them .75 points, 7th would equal .5 points, and 8th would be .25 points

NSA's averages for the girls went as:
Ashley 875.75
Ranni 809.5
Maya Fay 801.5
Morrigan 766.25

But the actual averages are:
Ashley 875.75
Maya Fay 828.5
Ranni 809.5
Morrigan 766.25

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeRK_HfAgS0lYRFpizWoYqnfnMED291xbOEhzZrhXRy98A0AQ/viewanalytics

Seeing as how Booruplus is SHIT and FINISHED I figured it'd be prudent to store the OC on the wiki using Gallery sub-pages, I figure we could do this for each tournament (preferably the 2023-2024 ones first since the OC from those was almost entirely stored on booruplus) so there's still a place where the OC is archived all in one place.

I worded it poorly but having a separate gallery page is precisely what I meant. I've always wished I could add more to the current gallery sections but like you said it'd be way too cluttered to include everything, especially for a character like Grimm or Batter or Primal Fang who have asstons of fanart, so being able to store it all on a separate sub-page is a good compromise.

/co/ and /v/ 2022 gallery pages are done, tourneys that used booruplus are the priority so I'll get Tag-Team/Co-Op and the like added next
By the way where should OC posted outside of direct tourney threads go, ie stuff like the Grimm x Curly wedding, Fall of NSA related fanart, Recette getting run over during Murder Games, pre-tourney hype art, etc? Maybe make a page just to store off-season OC in?

The /dbs/ articles can stay but they do actually need to cover the tournaments in some way instead of just being copies of articles from the Chads of /a/ wiki, surely it shouldn't be that hard given besides the /dbs/ tournament lore autism the Dragon Ball characters have actual tourney results to cover (SaiGAR, Shitposter Showdown); do remember the only stipulation given to us when creating our wiki on WT/Miraheze is that we need to stay within the scope of what our wiki is about (covering tourney autism)
Also if anyone wants to help out with updating the Ms. /co/ character pages or creating pages for tournaments that still don't have them, or new character pages in general, you're more than welcome to. I was also thinking the /co/ pages could get a navbox for each year's tournament like what the /v/ ones have (ie Template:Kingv2021) but I have my hands pretty full at the moment with other work both on and off the wiki so help out with one of those things if you want

I'll also allow a Frieza page if it gets created since I mean he DID win a tournament and all, again as long as it covers the tournament.
Seems like a fair deal to me, it keeps the Miraheze rule of our wiki staying on-topic, and it's like 2-3 pages that are completely isolated from the rest of the wiki anyways so it's not disruptive or spammy

There actually is a chance the old wiki will be gone for good soon.

A few days ago some boards but most notably /lit/ had their respective wikis deleted because, as it turns out, Fandom administration has decided to begin cracking down on 4chan-related wikis as the site no longer wants to be associated with us. (https://warosu.org/lit/thread/23675760#p23677602).
Thing is, rather than systematically wiping off all wikis dedicated to hosting 4chan content around the same timeframe, only a small number have really been affected. /v/'s Reccomendation Wiki, the /co/nservatory, /mu/'s, as well as /sci/'s wiki, for example, are still up at the time of me writing this post. The reason for this is likely tied to how most related wikis don't contain direct references to 4chan in their titles and URLs. This is not to say they are safe of course, but Fandom sure seems to be taking its sweet time.

Basically, assuming Fandom higher-ups fail to take notice of the abandoned wiki, we theorically could direct them into taking it down.

Mickey’s can be updated and include the same joke in the header. That’s more that Mickey qualified once and then never again, and his only real history is he jobbed to Garfield then he gotten high up in the qualifiers but never onto the bracket since.
If someone wants to write up a bio and history they can but I think it stayed so long because no one wants to until he has tournament history. Which might be this year, with Epic Mickey at end of September I think it pushes him over

Plus that way you can fit all the character's OC on there instead of cherrypicking a select few so the OC doesn't take up like 90% of the entire character page. Though it'd work better once all the tournament gallery pages are done so you could use files that are already uploaded, I'll get to making the rest of the tournament gallery pages soon but feel free to start a character gallery page if you want (I just wanted to get the booruplus tournament OC archived ASAP since they didn't have anywhere else they were uploaded)

Where is there absolutely zero consistency for tournament lead images.
Years 1-3 it was the bracket image. Then in 2021 it was the logo (which I think was originally a placeholder made 6 months before the tournament for the old wiki). Then in 2022 it's that years Throne design. Then in 2023 it's thread OC of the Elite 8. Then this year it's the 2024 design of /co/malgam.

We haven't had a bracket image since 2021. 2021 didn't use it because the old wiki never remembered to update it after the tournament and we copied from them.
Nobody made a throne design this year or in the first two years, /co/malgam doesn't have designs predating 2022, and I don't think we had a logo this year or last year even though all the first few did. We just can't stick to this stuff very well.

The /co/malgamations are mainly there to fill the next tournaments and should move back to such once the 2025 pages are up. There's a few options for 2024.

As to why it's consistent? It's simply due to what was already said about there not being an option that's been done consistently each year. The brackets are easy to insert later in a page, and even then anons haven't done them lately for /co/. Don't recall anybody doing a proper logo for this year's event.

HELP WANTED on the following projects, anyone is welcome to contribute to any one of these as you see fit
*Queen of /v/ character pages (top priority; a lot of characters need updated pages and many others could still use pages, doesn't have to be the ones in the navbox template persay that's just a point of reference)
*Updating Mr. /co/ pages to reflect 2024 results and creating new pages for characters as needed ie for Popeye and Plankton
*Updates for the Ms. /co/ E8 character pages, and pages for Pomni/Blackfire (whoever the guy is who said he'd do that i'm calling you out it's been like a month)
*Page creation for a variety of tournaments; Heroes/Villains, Emperor of /his/ 2024, Ms. /aco/ 2021 and 2022, also the /mlp/ tournaments if anyone really wants to make pages for those
*New gallery pages where needed, or adding to existing ones if needed

If there's any other miscellaneous projects or edits you want to work on feel free to do those, this is just a list of things that could use attention at the moment
Also since someone brought this up before, if you don't feel comfortable editing a page you could have bias towards like a character you campaigned for or whatever, even just adding match results/infobox stats/etc is very helpful and keeps personal bias out of the way

Sorry to Peni Parker's supporters, but she definitely counts under that. At least she's in Ms. /co/, but we haven't seen a winner that close win in the opposite gender tournament yet. She might be the only one who could realistically win, but she likely needs to have her role in Beyond the Spider-Verse absolutely nailed for a serious shot (if that movie doesn't end up as a major disappointment).

Team FART started in April 05th 2021. It look a little bit to settle on whether the T was Toph or Tyranhee, but Toph was settled on by May threads. It was based on discussions of them being powerhouses and a unit which dated back a few months prior.

Team FARTS was first used on September 1st 2021 during a count down thread by OP. Discussions including Shego with the others had been occuring here since August as far back as July 28th 2021, but the first actual 5 letter name was right before Ms. /co/ and only took off a few days later right before it started.

To my surprise SCK started on September 15th 2021 which is way way earlier than I expected, with the full name SCK Coalition appearing in August 2022. SCKT with Tyr'anhee only seems to date back a couple months though

FARTS has enough history it deserves a full article (FART to FARTS to ARTS). SCK(T) less so, but probably a mention on the terminology page.

Teen Girl Qualifier Squad should also probably be added given it’s the first Ms. /co/ alliance if you exclude FARTS.

I still consider Battler vs 47 a fluke. It was a 4-way AND in the Loser's Bracket. I'm not saying that it'll be worth it as a proper match but I also don't think what we got should be counted properly.

There's always going to be a weird result here and there no matter what you do.

Fang, let's be honest, was the real runner-up Number 2 in 2020. He just so happened to fall on the wrong side of the bracket and fought Monarch before Tyr'anhee. How utterly Fang won the Bronze Match and how much Monarch stomped Tyr in the finals is proof enough. Fang was the only one who came close to stopping her and had they met in the finals it might have been even closer if not a Fang win.

This is also the case with Toph in Ms. 2018 who probably would've beat Starfire, and Jack is basically the real 2nd place of Mr. 2018 cause Cap was a rigger ripoff. And Ms. /co/ 2022 and 2023 3rd are suspect for muddled host rigger reasons.

Popeye and Spider-Man are obvious to flesh out proper, but do want to make sure they get effective research done for them. Gordon at least has the advantage of being part of a Duck Match that's actually done right, as well as a lot of backing as to why he's a character that can stand on his own similar to Jameson. Starscream just comes across as more Transformers wank that's already covered by Prime and Megatron's page and Lord Shen is a round 1 exit only remembered because he had an above-average campaign. If Shen's qualified for a page, then I guess we're obligated to give everyone who had at least one OC made of them a page, too.

The results tab is the most important part of a page in my opinion, it's most of the reason why I visit any given page
Writing an autistic essay on the character's tournament history and thread happenings is nice and adds to the page but it isn't necessary for having the page, at bare minimum the results should be there
Basically if you can't even put the results on the character page on top of not bothering to write anything about the character's tournament history, that page has no reason to exist and just wastes everyone's time by being there without any content. I notice Queen of /v/ has a lot of pages like this so I'll try and clean them up and at least get results on them by tomorrow when Queen starts, and again a reminder if you want to create a page for a character but don't want to write the tournament history you can just put a results template on the page and that's perfectly sufficient, it gives the page a reason to exist even if it could still be added upon
Frankly Queen is probably the part of the site most in need of attention desu, it has a lot of empty pages and like half the navbox is red links
