Hello, my wonderful Friends! It's the time to talk about Drones once again, like every hour of every day! You know how this goes my Friend, let's talk about Drones and everything related to Murder Drones and the threads. I hope you are having a wonderful day, and let's start. The incredible Booru: https://dronebooru.co
>>7133 you are not realizing that i can throw rocks at your oogis like a big giant and herd them into a tight space where there horses mean nothing right?
Image:172014828152.png(84kB, 465x162)Total War Oogi Screenshot 2024-07-04 225520.png
>>7134 >throw rocks at your oogis like a big giant They're all equipped with ballistic plating >Herd them into a tight space I have the homefield advantage since you're the attacker. You wont have a chance to try to set up any choke points
>>7145 Yeah actually, they do nothing but stare at eachother and ooo. Usually they get along, this has been revealed thanks to Alpha Oogi hives which for some strange reason don't naturally have Bugretta's, they have to steal them
>>7146 The only time they don't get along is usually when it's two Bugretta's with conflicting interests which is uncommon. They're just mildly annoyed by eachother though and it doesn't ever escalate. Just a few slurs here and there
>>7147 >40K Bugretta arguing with a normal Bugretta on which franchise can easily destroy the other >The normal Bugretta didn't even say anything to instigate this Stupid gay idiot frogs fighting
>>7112 >”Are you ready to celebrate America Oogi” I say as I tighten the bow >”Amerikah!” replies the Oogi eagerly >”Thats the spirit, shine bright you little purple bastard” as I light the fuse >”Oogi lubs Amarik-AAAAAAaaaaaa” cried the Oogi as it shoots up into the sky tied to a fire work >as it reaches high into the sky bright lights and sounds could be heard along with the faint cries of Oogis flying into the air and the Bugrettas oooing from the loud sounds (they hate it) >after the light show you could see the many Oogis drifting back towards the ground using their beanies as parachutes, covered in black soot >the returning Oogis all huddle and cuddle together in Patriotic bliss as me and the lads crack open some brooskies and grill some Cyntipedes dogs >god bless this wonderful country, they may be purple critters but they bleed red white and blue
>>7157 They have the Dog attitude to 4th of July Which just means they all find and attach themselves to whoever is near until the scary sounds stop wrapping their tail around your arm, burying their face into you for comfort
>>7154 U sure anon? Femdrone does not care if it has a penor. She will nab That will not apply to the cajun drone, as she doesn't consent to lesbian acts
>>7161 It can only go two ways, one you have a bunch of a funny Oogis swimming in the punch bowl and getting drunk while causing immense property damage. Or two, Tessa and her family suffer a fate worst than what The Solver could possibly bestow upon them, their mansion becomes one giant Hive
>>7167 Well hypothetically if they were attacked by Predator Oogis, they would glue them to the walk using their saliva and use them as breeding stalk to create more food. They would also potentially hollow out their insides or use any crevices to put Oogi eggs
>>7161 >Just as the Solver makes its appearance, the Oogis break in >The Solver's reaction is to forcequit the universe >Cyn is free, but that won't matter in a few minutes if she doesn't find a way out >Tessa and her drones escape, picking up a near-dead N along the way >Now, they must reclaim her ancestral home from the nightmares that haunt it >That, or grab the first ship off-planet and get as far from Australia as possible
>>7170 >Now, they must reclaim her ancestral home from the nightmares that haunt it >That, or grab the first ship off-planet and get as far from Australia as possible I think I already know what she is going to pick
>>7161 >James and Louisa are tied to a chair and forced to watch something called Anime >N is forced to marry all 8 billion Oogi >V is still a maid >J is tied outside with her own doghouse >Strangely, the Oogis find familiar traits in Tessa and let her be >But they make her to wear Hot Topic and listen to NightCore, which to the Elliotts (and J), is a fate worst then death, having their weirdo daughter fall further in the Social Ladder.
>>7180 Highly doubt they'd celebrate the 4th of July (unless they just mindlessly celebrate EVERY human holiday without putting much thought into it) I could see there being a holiday celebrating either the creation of a free drone society on Copper-9 or the Worker Drone 'victory' against the "Murder Drone" menace in the Post-Canon Good Ending
>>7185 The worker drones were commercial products. They probably have something inbuilt in their code for holiday celebrations, like how Google changes up its page for various holidays
>Tessa gets made functionally immortal just to live out an awful existance of watching all of creation being consumed >Due to the modifications the Solver made to her body, she can't even find temporary comfort in settling down with a survivor and having a family >Any child she pops out ends up being a horrific eldritch abomination >After decades of this, her reputation of the Mother of Monsters and being accused of the Solver's spy breaks her >At long last Cyn approaches her >Cyn extends her hand to her >Tessa takes it >“You’ve been feeling tired, observed remark,” said Cyn, “but I can do something about that. I’ve come to ask whether you’d care to join my council. We shall be glad to have you and you’ll enjoy it. If you’re ready, we might go along now, quiet offering” >It seemed to Tessa that she would not be needing her body any more, so she left it lying on the edge of the ditch >She stopped for a moment, watching the monsters she birthed and the drones she loved so much mingle together, somehow coexisting. >“You needn’t worry,” said her companion. “They’ll be all right- and thousands like them. If you’ll come along, I’ll show you what I mean.” >Tessa and Cyn ascend into a higher plane of existence, together >All the world will be your enemy, Princess with a Thousand Enemies, and whenever they see you, they will scorn you. But first they must witness you, technician, host, princess with an open heart. Be cunning and full of tricks and your creations shall never be destroyed.
>>7187 >J as a cheerleader Can't see it. She'd just be an alpha bitch by dint of having fat stacks of cash. She'd show up to school in full corporate attire even. She'd make a good NASCAR driver though, since she can just slather her entire car in corporate logos.
>>7190 >WaterShip Down Noice. But really though, can Tessa be considered “the princess of a thousand enemies”? The only ones who hate her are her parents.
Image:172015586175.png(568kB, 1152x1752)You have games on your face.png
>>7180 The only character of mine that'd tangentially be interested in the holiday would be Sonya and even then, her holiday would be on July 1st since she's a leaf. Although I do wonder just how many festivities would carry over from the old world into drone society. Like it would be funny to have American descendant drones be smug over bri'ish blood ones for a day and not really have a clue why.
>Y enlists you for a recon mission, very stealthy and high-priority >The two of you find a vantage point on a tall skyscraper, watching a drone outpost's main entrance >Worker Drones file out with big arrays of fireworks, launching them into the sky >"I do not know vhat zey do zis for, but it happens every year," Y tells you >It was a wonder the light show didn't attract more attention >Y's hand grasps yours as she blushes >"Zey seem prettier with you at mein side."
>>7197 >>7180 v1.0 painting that is third in my apparent series of Holiday Alices. Following Christmas Alice and New Year's Alice comes Fourth of July Alice. Alice wants 'more valuable' disassembly drone parts to upgrade herself, and there's little a DD has that's as valuable as flight. Perfect for increasing the range and decreasing the time needed for resource-gathering trips to the surface, and for using the third dimension to evade Sentinels. And as Alice prepares to follow in the footsteps of the Wright Brothers (hence the leather flight cap) and take to the skies, she looks at the calendar and notices the date, and what's around her. She had some paint lying around, baseball equipment, Daisy Dukes, a coke, and a pair of Converse sneakers. Put all that together (and put Beau in a cute bald eagle outfit), and Alice is ready to celebrate the freedom of flight and the freedom of America.
>>7208 >Cyn was a direct witness to every horrid killing the Solver committed using her body, anyone who entered her line of sight was fated to die in a gruesome manner >The idea that she deserves a hug is alien to her >She flinches and tries to run as you approach with your arms out, but you get a hold on her before she can flee, picking her off the ground and into a close hug >It's been so long since she felt the affectionate touch of another, she can't even remember the last time it happened, if ever >Digital tears well in her eyes as she latches on to you >She won't be letting go of you for quite some time
Image:172016188012.jpg(337kB, 2400x2100)N Neutralizing the Nanites.jpeg
>>7225 >N wants his face smothered by Uzi's flat ass >He doesn't even care if she has an adapter installed or not, N just wants to be a "Good Boy" Compared to Uzi's usual 'kinky' requests this is adorably tame I wonder how good N is with his tongue?
>>7228 He's no stranger to fixing his own stinger-related fuckups, meaning he has plenty of experience snaking his tongue into places it doesn't belong.
>>7219 :( sweet… >>7180 izz and N-11X110110 swam in the pool, blasted splatoon OST and waved glowsticks, *tried* to have a barbecue (the hot dogs ended up pitch black), and later launched fireworks in the backyard, but N got scared of the loud sound, he yelped and ran and hid, so now he’s laying on her lap on the couch while she tries to comfort him from the neighbors’ fireworks going off every few minutes
>>7236 I don't particularly like drawing worker drones, but here is some really old WIP art I made. There was another sketch where i drew WD!Y but I appear to have lost it
Okay we know when E goes into heat she goes full horny retard mode but how would she deal with her desires for boss's 'banana' when you remove her hat? How would her intelligent side satiate her hunger for 'potassium'?
>You get a promotion and that means your very own DD >Your new peers put a blindfold over your eyes and take you elsewhere >They untie your eyes >It is a dark warehouse >A very faint yellow twilight makes it not completely dark >There is oil muck and scrap metal and candy wrappers strewn all over the place >Your hand moves towards your head lamp but a hand grabs it >"No!" says the guy next to you >"Why is there so much crap here?" you ask >He points up >You look up >DDs. Lots of them >They are all hanging from the ceiling >Some are sleeping, some are preening, some are bickering >This is their communal area >The yellow twilight is the collective light coming from their tails and visors >You wonder what comes next >As if having read your thought, your coworker says "Now we wait." >This is a bonding ritual of sorts. First you wait for a Disassembler to find you interesting enough to investigate >"There." >You see lights moving in the dark >They are coming down diagonaly, then they disappear >They reappear and disappear again >A DD has taken notice and is climbing down a pillar >It reaches the floor and crawls up to you >She's a little feral, like most DDs are. Constant human interaction keeps them fairly civilized >"Go talk to her." says a coworker >You walk towards the drone, being unable to see anything but her lights >Her eyes grow bigger as you approach, and at some point they get closer to the ground
>>7260 >This combined with the stance of her tail light indicates that she is careful and about to pounce if you keep pushing her >You pick up on this >You stop, get on your knee and talk to her >"Hello. Do you have a name?" >The drone blinks. Her tail is swaying left and right slowly >"I do. Do you?" >You don't. Your parents never baptized you >You are a heathen. A nameless. A bastard in neither of Santa's lists who can never be entered into the Book of Life! >"I am Anonymous. Second Technician. Just got promoted." >"I am Serial Designation L." >The drone sniffs at you >The tail becomes more animated >"Say. You smell nice. Tasty even..." >Her eyes narrow >"Oh yeah. The thing." >You fiddle in your pocket for a can of thick diesel oil that the others told you to bring >It has additives that are said to taste good to DDs, but you haven't tried it yourself yet >"I brought you a thing. A snack." >Damn that stress. It is making your hands and tongue klutzy >You try opening the can for her but it pretty much bursts and spills it's contents all over your hand >"Oh bollocks this mess!" you exclaim >The drone's eyes widen and it moves forward while you're trying to fish a rag from your other pocket >Suddenly your hand is wet and warm on all sides >The drone has put your hand in her mouth, which is very very bad because it means you're about to lose it >You pull your hand out in a panic >It comes out very slowly and does a loud *PLOP* as it comes free
Image:172018167739.png(203kB, 867x934)serial designation l (original character) drawn by anonymous_artist - 0b78195c82d006ec76ce620ca999b8ab.png
>>7261 >Surprisingly, you are unharmed >The drone gulps down the oil in her mouth >"Tasty." >She grabs you by the wrist and pulls your hand close to her face again >You feel her tongue going over it and between your fingers like a lithe serpent, licking until all the oil in your hand has been replaced by Disassembly Drone saliva and then some >Another coworker, who often has a bandaid around a finger, turns to his DD and says "You see this? Why can't you be like this, you bitey little shit?" >The DD licking your hand makes a low open-mouth laugh >"Hhhuhuhuh..." >You can't help but get a half-chub despite yourself >"So uhh...I just got promoted...To Second Technician...And the company says I have to get a personal DD now. So I was wondering if you would...be interested?" >The drone pulls her long tongue back in her mouth >"Hmm. These things are give-and-take. Are you prepare to give?" >Not knowing what you are supposed to give and how much of it makes you hesitant >"I...think so?" >The drone purses her lips in the dark. She is not satisfied with your answer >"How about this. Let's have a trial period for both of us. That good?" >"Good." >"Good." >You extend your hand towards her but she gets the wrong idea and starts lubricating it again >You get up and lead her to the others >"I got a DD. I think. Her name is L." you announce. "Say hi, L." >"Hah Elleh." she says >Everyone is giving her odd looks behind their visors >Well whatever. She is yours to deal with now
>>7234 Beautiful work as always Friend! I like the lighting and how her clothes look. >>7258 Good work Friend, I have a question, why the golden sword with the red blade? What does it do?
>>7266 Energy Cutlass made in the style to look like a pirate's cutlass since she took it from a dead Space Pirate. The blade is made of solid light but it doesn't act like a lightsaber that can melt anything, it's more like a traditional sword with a ultra-sharp blade that never loses it's edge because it's made of light. One drawback is that it's battery operated and once they run out it's virtually unsuable unless the battery cell is recharged or replaced.
>>7272 Understandable, I hope you think of a cute DD, a DD that her name is similar to V⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ >>7274 I see, I thought it was a saber since it was relatively thin. Made me think of "Metal Gear Solid: Revengeance" for a second, with that part of "ultra-sharp blade". Every weapon has its drawbacks, that's why there are so many!
What is your to-go music to listen while creating stuff? Writing, drawing, modelling, coding, etc. I want to know. Here is mine: A Silly Playlist For Silly People
>>7267 >Cyn gets all dressed up for your first date >The destination ends up her favorite eating establishment: McDonalds >Date night is cut short after she bites a kid in the PlayPlace
>>7307 God, I love Lobotomy Corp, such a good game, and good ost. Lobotomy Corporation music tho Also, Liam Vicker's Lofi fucking slaps, it's so fucking good.
>>7308 >spoiler Funne >Also, Liam Vicker's Lofi fucking slaps, it's so fucking good. Correct, SSTWL Medley make me giggle a bit on the inside every time I recognize the melody of a certain track.
>>7311 Pretty good music taste Anon. >>7313 Yeah, it is good, I just love how it sounds, pretty calming, but you can easily recognize the music to know which one belongs to whom. Also, going back to Lobotomy, I just like the third trumpet since it just announces the hopeless moments have arrived, and the only thing you can do is to see the chaos, and horrors [ LobotomyCorporation OST ] - Third Warning Now I will stop since this is no Lobotomy Corp thread
>>7312 There are no signs of intelligent life relating to murderdrones anywhere but here. I recommend not engaging with anything offsite that's not art or particular fics (apparently they have good ones, I don't read them tho), saves frustration.
>>7329 He actually tried explaining his issues with the whole "keeping over a dozen malfunctioning robots in our house"-thing to Tessa that one time but sadly things didn't work out.
>>7369 Honestly, is there anybody really in danger at all anymore? V will be back, Lizzy and Thad have just been brought back, Khan will have his obvious reunion with Nori so she ofc lives as well and Uzi already had her 'acrylic stand moment'. Leaves only N, who has a stand coming already, and J as the only possible options. But really, N is nearly a Glitch mascot, he promites MD in every project, only way he dies 'for real' is if they will anounce that there will be a season2. J on the other hand, she has complexity, but has been painted as a villain so far, which puts her in most danger. Though, she has similiarly just been 'brought back', so I'd say she lives. It's either gonna be everyone or no one at this point
>>7371 Thad's in a weird state in that the episode's story and dialog is finished so he can't be written out due to circumstances, but there's that shit surrounding the VA and however that's going to turn out. Also, merchandise didn't save Tessa.
>>7379 (me) However it's worth noting this. One, the "child" was Furaffinity, an adult website despite what those furfags claim. Two, he lied about his age on his bio and was accepting NSFW commissions. Three, Thad's VA aka Sean only sent then one NSFW message before they got ghosted for 10 years
Image:172021157263.png(14kB, 328x70)Actual character he voiced.png
>>7381 The internet loves a public execution, so he's probably fucked anyway. "I thought you were older" never works as a defense, either, even if there was good reason to believe it.
>>7383 Pretty sure Tessa was always intended to be dead/assimilated/a living meat costume being worn by her murderer for the lulz. Sales of Tessa merch weren't going to make them rewrite the rest of the series
>>7387 Well, no, I mean that she got merchandise and then was dead all along, so characters having merch doesn't save them from the chopping block. I don't think that a million Tessa figures selling would have regloved her.
>>7049 Fortunately, I had already planned a sequel in which Tessa actually wore the dress Cyn made, but with a twist. (Or you can just crop out the bottom two panels after you save it, idc).
Also just to clarify, the first two panels are Cyn’s dream, not something Tessa actually said to her.
>>7218 Looks extremely nice! Ever since you said there'll be two for July and something with symbolism I knew there'd be July 4th Alice and it sure doesn't disappoint! Your original designs are probably my most favourite one from our threads, it's creative every time, very original and just fits very well. Also, the clothes and lighting did always look pretty good, and I don't know how long you've been drawing, but I'd say you've improved a lot, the shoes and pants look absolutely great! In any case I love it really!
>>7128 Probably never, not because of some profound stuff that events in a story need to have consequences to carry weight and have impact, but because Tessa recovering would mean I couldn’t make jokes like this anymore.
>>7394 >Tessa finds her skin and puts it back on >It's just not the same without the rest of the meat, though >Also, she's even more terrifying with it on
>>7398 Khan would have an abrupt, too-little, too-late moment of grief for having neglected her most of her life. No one else would care, it's canon that she had no friends in her class.
>>7402 The colony drones generally just seem to care for living drones, once you die, you are forgotten. Doll (and to a lesser degree Uzi and I guess Kahn too) seem to be the only exceptions, but then again Khan might be the oldest drone in the series(J,V and N are likely technically older but not mentally), which explains that behaviour even without being a ZD. Thad did care for Uzi in the pilot, but looks at 4, nobody, except Uzi's short remark about having killed people, even mentioned the campers again, look at V killing one after getting out of the bus. Scared for their own sake, but once they realized immediate danger is over they keep acting as if nothing occured. And the teacher doesn't count, he just went through his list for the 'job'
>>7404 >"This will be the last time you get too close to my Baby Girl." I'm trying to imagine the kind of N who would ever say this line, and I don't like what comes to mind.
Video:172022225210.webm(2.89MB / 0:00:12 / V_VP9, 1920x1080)this will surely never be relevant.webm
>>7420 Take a page from the "N is evil" schizo: Even if you have Cyn pretending to be Tessa, it's extremely unlikely* that that could fool someone like J, who cares deeply about Tessa, 100% of the time, or that there wouldn't be some other tell (hey 'Tessa', you never take off that helmet - how do you eat?) or suspicions about the specific circumstances under which 'Tessa' picked up a disassembly drone with the memories ('prior hazard') of the destroyed J sent to Copper-9. Thus, J is aware and has transferred allegiance to the Solver, her new 'Boss', and so villainous J no longer highly values Tessa. Or if you want the tragedy route, J is doing it in hopes that the Solver has kept Tessa's consciousness/soul, and will return it in some form if J is useful.
*Unless Solver is doing continuous brainwashing on J, which it absolutely could be doing
>>7425 I hope we get an in-univers explanation for why the Absolute Solver cares about creating differences, even if it's just extending the puppets/dolls theme.
>>7430 It's probably just that and nothing more. We can see Cyn bashing dolls and toys together haphazardly in episode 5 and then at the end of the scene we see the seemingly useless animated-tentacle-infested-doll-fusion thing crawling around on Tessa's bedroom floor. The Solver has made it clear that this is as much a game to it as anything else, giving sexual dimorphism to DD's is "just for the hell of it" move like when you make goofy designs in Ultimate Admiral or Kerbal Space Program.
>>7436 >We can see Cyn bashing dolls and toys together haphazardly in episode 5 I read this theory that the Solver is neutral but warps your desires like a sort of a monkey paw. So the toying around is actually Cyn wanting to 'play'
>>7442 I don't know about truly "neutral". Some of the stuff it's done up to this point seems abjectly cruel. It's more like deliberately following the letter of the wish and subverting the intent. The classical monkey's paw is just a cursed object, the AS is clearly sentient.
This shouldn't instigate shit, but I think it is an interesting enough question and I comparatively rarely see it talked about, but are there any characters from canon you actually dislike or hate? It's true that pretty much everyone went through a lot of suffering already and is not necessarily evil, with exception of AS, but...
>>7453 I meant it kinda fucks with your head and morals because it’s an entity that doesn’t understand morality. Like it could have made Cyn and Tessa fused together because Cyn wanted to be more closer to Tessa. And what’s a better way than being close to someone than being horrifically merged together?
>>7454 Like >>7455 And >>7457 Said, but it goes for all the students in my opinion. Not really hatred or even dislike, they are just 'bland', generic types and what little we've heard from Braiden and seen from Rebecca (and Lizzy in the pilot) they seem reckless and just overall unlikeable. I'd say the only exceptions are Emily (mostly because of the threads I guess), cause she never acted ugly and was even worrying about Rebecca, and Sam, he was chill and didn't seem an ass either.
>>7458 I don't hate them, I just don't really care about them. I guess they're just secondary characters that don't have a lot of screentime. The J fight "reveal" honestly disappointed me, mainly because I hoped it would involve some actual main characters and not just Thad and Lizzy (With Khan sitting on the sidelines). I really hope V shows up or that fight will basically just be filler
>>7454 Honestly, speaking of actual characters, Uzi. I get she's the stories vessel and meant to have flaws yet stay likeable but man... If you wanna tell me Alice and Doll are villains but Uzi is a good guy then that's just not consistent. Initially I didn't mind her that much even, but the more I rewatched, saw her discussed and thought about her, especially how unnecessarily she fucked up in 6 with Alice (in hindsight it was all fucked anyways with Cyn being there all along, doesn't change how it looks isolated tho/what happened in 6 that much), I've slowly come to hate her. And it gets stronger, I didn't like her character type anyways but she was interesting and had good moments, yet it just doesn't compensate her shit anymore. Uzi being main character is what I think kept me from rewatching anything but 6 ever since seven premiered, just can't stand seeing her anymore.
>>7465 >If you wanna tell me Alice and Doll are villains but Uzi is a good guy then that's just not consistent. Uzi's worst is Episode 4, when she talks to that one student before killing him, proving that her mind wasn't completely lost to hunger. That's still better than "our idea of chic interior décor is mutilated corpses" with personal flavors of "I play basketball with my victims" and "I get off to watching drones get Jurassic Parked".
But the show does have a problem with killing/death only mattering when it happens to the main characters, rather than when they do it. >how unnecessarily she fucked up in 6 with Alice "Uzi" didn't do anything, and if she had, it would've been self-defense. Alice initiated hostilities.
I just thought of something, Anime and Media would be fucking weird in the Murder Drones universe >My Step-Sister Is My Twice Removed Uncles Drone And She's Also A Magic Girl From Anofher World!?
>>7456 Its dealings with Tessa didn't seem to involve the (apparently close, no pun intended) Cyn-Tessa relationship, but its own treatment/regard for Tessa. The "you didn't have to see this stuff" was Solver legitimately trying to keep Tessa from observing something frightening, as seen by how it kept restarting the line while Tessa kept tossing objects at it, before getting annoyed.
>>7492 >was Solver legitimately trying to keep Tessa from observing something frightening Why would it care? It would have likely killed her anyway if Tessa remained in her room.
>>7484 I have to assume that they've been with humanity for at least a few generations by the time of the gala massacre. Maybe as long as cars have been around for us. You don't invent something, discover bad shit about it, try to cover it up, have the word get out anyway, manage to finagle some legislation that let's you keep building it, and manage it ship it not just across the globe to multiple planetary systems in a short space of time.
>>7493 I would have assumed more of a plaything relationship. With the elder Elliots and all of their guests dead, and Tessa having not done anything to warrant punishment in the AS's eyes, there would have been a period of time where "Cyn" had the run of the mansion and everyone left in it. Which is its own horror scenario to contemplate.
>>7454 Uzi. I know that’s unpopular buts it’s true, and I think she’s the only unlikable character. Basically everything she does is stupid in some way, and that’s added on top of having an annoying personality. I’m glad as the show went on they focused more on N who’s actually enjoyable, makes better decisions, and has a better backstory
>>7497 >there would have been a period of time where "Cyn" had the run of the mansion and everyone left in it. Which is its own horror scenario to contemplate. Do tell
Isn't the whole point of N and Uzi's relationship that they complement each other? He helps her shed that prickly armor and be less of a gremlin and she helps him be less of a doormat and less willing to blindly march along with the plan?
>>7507 No? What gave you that impression. Literally neither of these happen because of the other. Uzi never opens up to anyone but him, and he isn’t a doormat because of Uzi but be some of his situation changing
>>7487 >Uzi's worst in 4 is still better than Doll Idk if I would outright disagree, but there isn't that much difference between them really. 2 did show that Doll began using the Solver very soon after the pilot (2 is likely a day at most after 1, remember J's body), Uzi didn't actively use it until 3 (up to a few months after 2), so Doll had way longer where she needed oil. Uzi got her feast very soon in 4, Doll had no such opportunity. However, while Doll had needs, that doesn't justify her reckless preparation (hitlist) and killings of innocents during the prom itself, which is not really excusable in any way. Point being Doll and Uzi did both kill and collect (Uzi was carrying around a bag of bodyparts after all) other worker drones while being in controll, imo they are equal in that regard, but in the end neither that or Doll's promkills make her a 'villain'',at least the prom would be a better justification than her refusal to forgive her parent's killers. Mind that Uzi and Doll cannot be compared in that regard, Uzi didn't even remember Nori, Doll apparently cared a lot for them, it's no surprise Doll holds her grudge, while any bad feelings Uzi ma have kept were quickly drowned out by her new friend. >still better than "I get off to watching drones get Jurassic Parked" I'll disagree, the drone getting jurassic parked was a DD on the lose trying to get to her, Alice's reaction while watching was the only questionable thing. I'll get to that later
>Uzi didn't do anything, and if she had, it would have been self-defense No and yes-no, first the self defense point. >Alice initiated hostilities You mean the capturing right? Barely, Uzi, N and V were ambushed and knocked out ofc (but then again from a justice-only pov, Uzi too took consciousness of others/Braiden in 2). I think the best way to explain is from Alice's view, she had no reason to expect anything but DDs, which were always threats, so they'll be taken out quickly. Given the circumstances and Uzi's character, as well as her following behaviour I wouldn't say she felt it such a transgression. I'm tired af, don't take that Alice section too seriously I'll put my thoughts out better tomorrow, it's a waste of time now
>>7487 But Uzi also eats people? What just because she doesn’t store her food that means she’s better? Doll is never shown enjoying it unlike Uzi who almost gets off giddy with how evil she is in her half minded state and is just a usual self centered jackass.
>>7514 >Her first kill in ep3 was pretty brutal All the kills are brutal, to say dolls are more brutal then Uzi is pretty much oranges and apples. Uzi is eating people alive
>>7517 Current "AI"s are nothing more than sophisticated auto-complete algorithms, organic bipedal movement is still unstable and is costing millions to work on, their mouths are too complex to easily make, and sex robot designers are focusing on uncanny valley humans rather than the perfection that is the drone form. All I can do to cope is have increasingly weird and contrived fantasies involving J.
>>7503 >>7504 >Doll has now become stronger, all so she could protect you. >You’re all she has left and she’ll destroy anything that comes between you and her..
You know ever since I saw that SD-O pic I've been thinking, why doesn't Beretta have a more weird or unique design? She was created from Solver flesh and she's a WD/DD hybrid. Surely her design would be more freakish or monster-girl-ish. Then again maybe I just don't realize the beauty of simplicity
>>7534 I think one of the proposed things was her having a fucked up version of DD regen where her body parts get replaced by flesh so she has to plate it or something
>>7534 I can only speak as an individual writefag but my interpretation for an in-universe explanation behind Beretta's mundane appearance is something like this >Uzi & N want Beretta to live a (relatively) normal life in the (relatively) peaceful Post-Canon Good Ending they'd fought so hard to achieve >As such Beretta is raised no different than any other Worker Drone at the colony at least until her Solver Stuff starts acting up
>>7543 Perhaps an equally logical possibility may help? >There is a strong likelihood that Beretta could resort to either self-modding or straight up upgrading into a Disassembly Drone just to rebel against her parents
>>7502 I'm glad you like this creature :] There's gonna be (a lot) more animals and plants in the future, but right now I wanna focus on some story stuff.
>Team Y returns from an outing carrying you on a stretcher >You came upon a group of frost beasts and had to fight them >Y slipped during the fight, having stepped on Mini Y (who made a squeaky noise upon being stepped on) and fell down >You jumped in front of her and shielded her from a hit >Then Phi gave you emergency chiropractor aid >You are taken to the Infirmary >The medrone reassures Y that you will make a complete recovery but she insists on staying by your side until you wake up to call you an idiot >You wake up after a while and she calls you an idiot >"Vat were you sinking? I can regenerate! I am a combat drone! And you are-" >Her friend >"I uh. I guess I wasn't thinking." >"Dummkopf! What would had happened if you had been maimed? Or paralyzed? Or...or..." >Y is upset over the whole thing but what really overwhelmed her was that for the first time someone expressed to her that she was worth a damn. Worth protecting >Her hands crumple the lip of her tall officer hat as yellow digital tears form in her screen eyes >"I-! I-!" >Her words have difficulty getting past the knot in her throat
>>7559 >"Aaaaaaah..." moans another drone to remind them that they're not alone and this is a bloody infirmary >"ULYSSES YOU MUTTERFUGGER YOU ARE A DISASSEMBLY DRONE! YOU GET ZE FUG OUTTA HERE OR I VILL EAT YOUR USELESS HEAD!" >Ulysses exits the infirmary in his very heavy coat briskly with a sheesh >Y hyperventilates >She sits down and crosses her legs so forcefully that they produce a few sparks >"What did the doctor say my injuries are?" >Y snaps at you due to her tension >"You have bruises in your arm and a hurt back. Herr doctor said you vill make a complete recovery." >"That's good" you say. "Did we win." >"Ve did." >Y is lying. You were repelled >You start mumbling a victory anthem >"Indestructible. Determination that is incorruptible. From the other side, a terror to be hold." >You raise your arms a little and try to do a little victory dance >"Annihilation will baaaargh! My fucking back!" >Y turns her head to look away >"Dummkopf." >"Where are my painkillers?" you ask while looking at the bedside table >"Ve don't have any." >"Well shit." >"Ja." >The two of you sit in silence for a few seconds >Y gets up and puts her hat on >"I must be off. I have matters to attend to." >She walks to the door, then pauses for a moment and adds "Don't go anywhere." >"Heh. Cunt." you snigger >Y smirks back at you >It gives it's place to a determined scowl as soon as she exits the room >She will find you some painkillers even if she has to take on the frost beasts all on her own >You look at the one window in the room >You start slapping a rhythm on your thighs while mumbling another song >"Faster than a laser bullet, louder than an atom bomb. Chromium plated boiling metal, brighter than a thousand suuuuuuuargh! Dammit." >Meanwhile back in the battlefield >Mini Y bursts out from under the snow >"Freeeeee!" she proclaims in triumph in her tiny voice >The heavy snow on a branch above chooses this very moment to fall down and on top of her, burying her >*Muffled REEEEEEEEEEE!*
>>7512 >doesn't justify her reckless preparation (hitlist) and killings of innocents during the prom itself Exactly, what Doll does goes far beyond the physical need for oil and is done with her being one of the most cool-headed cast members. >her refusal to forgive her parent's killers. That's irrelevant, and if she'd killed V no one would've blamed her for it. Doll has eliminated zero (0) murder drones, against how many workers? She's a disassembly drone in all but name. J would probably take her over N, even. > drone getting jurassic parked was She watched 029's death (and presumably those of many other drones), then ate popcorn and cackled maniacally while N (a character we're supposed to sympathize with) got devoured. Yeah, disassembly drones are a threat to her, but still. >from Alice's view They were intruders possibly working for the Eldritch entity that had destroyed everything. Attacking first is completely reasonable. It's a security dilemma.
>>7296 Metal, sublime metal. It resonates with the soul and strengthens the body.It is a reason to have lived.

>>7548 Wouldn't all humans kinda suck at video games compared to literal bots? It's like playing against Reaperbot except they're sentient enough to hate you on a personal level.
>>7578 >Uzi finds the creator of Worker Drones in a setup similar to Mr House's >She rees about why the humans made the drones flimsy, capable of experiencing fear and pain, and then mistreated them >The creator says that they were never intended to be used in such a way >They were meant to be equal to us because humanity was lonely and wanted an equal to befriend >Uzi is at a loss
>>7569 No. They're using neural networks for their processing bases. So even if their servomotors/actuators would be capable of accurate, discrete movements to some arbitrary precision, the pathways that convert intention into action still have to be trained, and will still have some level of random noise/feedback/lag so that their performance isn't as simple as using "perfect_gameplay.exe" or "#include art_mastery.h" Even the murder drones, running modded Solver OS, still miss most of the shots they take.
>N gives you a goodnight kiss >he forces 28 inches of slippery, slobbery disassembler tongue down your throat and into your stomach, probing and licking and flicking his tongue at every fold of flesh that catches his interest >by the time he's done kissing you goodnight you are running out of air
Hello, my *AMAZING* Friends! How are you doing?! I'm finally able to get a rest, and I got sick, I'm so unlucky jaja! I'm here once again with a question, I haven't asked any questions in a long time, so I want to ask one, my Friend! I was wondering about pillbabies once again, and I was thinking, what would be the best way to raise them? But in your opinion, I don't care about facts and logic, I care about emotions and the heart, tell me Friends, what would be the best way to raise them in your opinion? TELL ME FRIENDS, TEEEELL MEEE. What are you doing this morning? I want to know that too.
>>7589 >the only thing that could keep the solver at bay was a hefty, hearty, sticky dose of N's cum >the day he was sent out to the tree to die, cyn's unfilled womb cried for vengeance- and the solver answered
>>7587 To get better quickly consume energy drinks, listen to very fast music and play bullet hell games. All at once. My personal preference is Monster Punch/Dragonforce/Bio-Hazard Battle on an emulator.
>>7587 That's some good news and bad news, but I guess that's how life goes. >What are you doing this morning? Being awake earlier than I'd like to try and buy some vegetables. >I was wondering about pillbabies once again, and I was thinking, what would be the best way to raise them? I'd imagine they act a lot like human babies minus the ability to move on their own, so a lot of that carries over, with exceptions. I think it's safe to assume that drones naturally understand every language by default, so you could supplement simple stories with more complex materials. A line I was going to include in a part 2 of that "Anon adopts a pillbaby" green included Anon reading SICP to it like a bedtime story, but I felt like it was nice enough as a single-parter. With absolutely zero evidence to back up this claim, I'd bet that a lot of drones in the show are missing emotional development in their early stages, hence why they don't care much for the deaths of others. Plenty of that would be good for them, or maybe bad, given how easily drones die.
>>7594 Oh... That has more sense... I'm kind of dumb, sorry, Friend. But what if I don't like bullet hell games? >>7595 That's just life, Friend. Early bird gets the worms! That was the phrase, right? I would incline to disagree, but my knowledge of babies is not that good. I guess that is true, since pillbabies take some code from the parents, or that is the best we got for now, maybe high-level math would be good for them. That would have been so funny, Friend, you should've added that. From what I can remember, the Drones forgive much easily that humans, but I might be misremembering stuff, I would guess pillbabies if they do not learn they will grow up uncaring, and not a single bit of emotion if the situation is correct. I guess with the easiness they die, it would be bad for survival if they have a mental breakdown.
>>7621 Not gonna lie, if I was john I would literally consider suicide at that point, being annoyed by someone smarts as a kid forever without anything much to do sounds like a nightmare
>>7623 >john kills himself to relieve himself from his torment >cyn simply revives him everytime he dies >john cannot even enjoy the sweet release of death >forever tormented to be a dumb clanker playtoy
>>7587 Good afternoon Smilefriend! Pretty sure I've said it before but if I were to raise a drone I'd do everything I could to help them find & achieve their hopes/dreams in this world (so pretty much raise them like you'd ideally raise a human child)
