I had to put some high brain function effort to make them different. You will get a cookie if you point out the difference between the two N's Poison Ivy bush
I feel strange going back to my rotten roots... Drawing beeg men
>>326105 >mfw I realize the Geist from the non-Empress Uzi timeline is an only child because him being a Solverpede scared Uzi and N out of having any more children lest they ACTUALLY have a Robo-Antichrist or straight up possessed child
>>326109 They both have heart/chest scars. From ''I got my heart ripped out and replaced and now i am no longer human'' But yes, most difference comes from... yeah down there, I blame the femoid brain for this
>>326115 >heart ripped out It wasn't ripped, Cyn made sure! She was very gentle with his blood-organ after it was removed! [NULL] this slander immediately.
>>326114 My interpretation was that he's the third oldest, and Colt and Akita are still the youngest there. Though his birth did indeed deter his parents for a while. His birth, and Negev's weird biomechanical vanishing twin/fetus in fetu thing state developing enough for her to emerge from a growth on Beretta's core as a very hungry caterpillar who turned into a headcrab core after collecting enough matter. My take is the first four were born through weird Solverpede shit where Uzi used her and N's data to generate their cores inside her and birth them through her canal. Geist and Negev scared them off from trying again, and a few years later they figured out how to have children the normal way and that's where Colt came from... then came Akita's miraculous conception.
>>326117 >miraculous That certainly is a word for what happened there. So I guess in this setup Keeter's just her trying "wierd solverpede shit" until something breaks and she decides to stop testing limits then?
>>326118 Thinking it's the same thing as in Blu's fic: some process glitches out somewhere in her by chance and Akita's born as a result. And I don't know what else to call a virgin birth but miraculous.
>Geist asks why he's an only child >N and Uzi have to tiptoe around "you were such a truly, utterly, completely terrible experience that we never wanted to endure something like you again" without making him feel like a monster
You're completely forgetting this is a major part of Colt's lore what with his overheat disability and all. Of course forgetting about Colt in important contexts is also a major part of his lore so keep up the good work.
>>326122 I feel like telling him (I'm assuming Geist is pretty young when he asks) the broadest possible strokes about the reason they met, and why Mom is "different" in a very similar way to him even though wasn't always that way, would minimize the amount of "We initially thought you might be a skinsuit for Black Hole Satan" bush needed to beat around.
>>326120 Oughhh I wish I had the same neurons the eastern asian people have, I don't know what kind of shit they read or see. But holy shit, they make some stuff that ACTIVATES my neurons. They do make some evil angsty stuff or make implications and im all for it to draw and indulge in the content
>>326125 >"So, uh, your dad used to eat people" >"Then I ate people" >"And it turned me into this" >"So don't go snacking on your classmates, or you'll get even grosser!"
Uzi is sure this is good parenting
(keep in mind none of this inherently answers why they had one kid and then said "hell no" to more)
>>326126 >The big cruel N isn't sexually abusing the Greenzi
Of course, I should have known. Totally agree about their art/quality though, those guys get insane fast. Only problem is actually priming your algorithm to see any of it since they rarely use even tags in their own language, so you just have to keep liking stuff and hoping for the best.
>>326123 >Blu's timeline's Colt wishes his parents didn't keep ignoring him and only paying attention to him to put obligations on him >the monkey paw's finger curls >in the Empress Uzi timeline, Colt is fretted over by his neurotic vampire family because he's not only a normal person like his grandpa, but a normal person who gets brainfog and needs semiregular dialysis
>>326128 I keep tabs or links around the art and got a bunch of ppl just sharing art, I reached the point where it just gives me eastern art and I just keep saving it until My folders are in the tens or hundreds.
>>326130 >tabbing/favoriting all the art that you like
Ugh I've been there before. Never a particularly pleasant experience. At least, it isn't once you realize you can't navigate your own folders to FIND anything anymore. Maybe that's just a skill issue though.
>>326114 In my vision of the Princess Keeter story (yes, I'm still working on it), the ages of the kids roughly corresponds to the order in which they were created IRL, so Keeter is in the middle, Negev is the youngest so far, and Uzi is currently pregnant with Geist.
>Colt and Akita ask why they are so different from their siblings >EmprUzi pulls out her whole spiel about Akita being fumbled into existence by her powers, but they still love her and she's an important part of the family anyways >Keet relatively satisfied >Colt reminds Uzi he asked too >Uzi floored, clearly unprepared, still at least the full truth shouldn't be traumatizing for him >Just tells him he's a USB baby >That they decided to stop risking Solverpreggers from "divine clanging sessions" >The devil living in her heart and all makes it risky, in hindsight >Even pulls out "proof of construction" and a hologram of worker N to show he isn't adopted like he keeps trying to get her to confess to >Mostly calmed, Colt asks one final question
>"But why'd you decide to stop with just me?" >"Cause we didn't want to bring anything else that disabled into the world" slips right out
>Even Doll's jaw is dropped in the back of Uzi's throat, and she had no hope at all for any of this >Keeter wants to vacate the area >Still, sibling loyalty compels her stay >Even if she's cringing worse then the time mom called her a "fragment of beautiful infinity" through the school PA system >Uzi is spamming N on his DD Hud >He was offworld at the time, so his ETA is gonna be a full 30 minutes >Colt just gives an "I KNEW IT!" >Pivots out of the room like dad during Solver War Story Hour >He always suspected his birth was some kind of skill issue >Still figured it was someone other than his "parents'" but you can't win em all >Tries to vow to the blankly staring (because between comms with N and panicking she forgot to address the situation) Uzi that he'll prove himself and earn her respect >She can practically feel the "Bite me!" that comes out of his mouth instead >By the time N gets home she's in full on panic mode, needs to be comforted before the situation can be address and/or Cyn can posses her >Cyn's too busy laughing her lack-of ass off to do anything right now, but they don't need to know that >By the time it's all over, a single mental lapse remains >From within her deeper depths, an ancient spirit takes advantage >"Coulda' gone worse mate" >"Shut up Tessa"
>Meanwhile in the depths of his room, Colt broods on his future decisions >Or, at least, he wanted to do it in his room, but he knows between mom, bro, and esper-sister privacy doesn't exist in the palace >So he's actually taken his book of edgy poems + gun out into the city instead >Yes, soon he will prove his worth as a drone and a man! >Just as soon as he figures out how >Might want to hit up his friends for grenades or something first, though
>>326134 >Corresponds to the order they were created IRL >Colt is by far and away the oldest brother >Still outshone in literally every way by his younger siblings >He isn't sure whether to be insulted or honored that they still think he's the coolest
Meanwhile
>Beretta coughed up Negev when she was a straight-up 7 year old >Not knowing what in the hell she was, Uzi and N decide to take care of it until she's older >It is tremendous relief when they discover she's an assimilated-then-unassimilated sibling rather than some creepy child pregnancy

>>326132 >Uzi's oil leakage detected >DD swoops in like a bat out of hell to take advantage >Now challenges Bluenon to a battle to the death for her honor >Bluenon must wield his "whirling dick defence" with full force if he hopes to defeat this intruder >Meanwhile, Uzi sneaks underfoot between the two combatants, so easily forgotten >She just reaches up and pops the DD's balls >Battle won?
>>326136 >"Mac?" >"Brb, Chat, family stuff... Yeah?" >"How do I pick up chicks? Because you-" >"Shut up." >"But you have girls tripping over themselves fo-" >"You don't want any of this shit, little guy. These girls are fucking psychos." >"Why the fu-" >"SAVE YOURSELF FROM HELL!" >behind Mac, Chat is saying unspeakably vile things about him
>>326142 >He decides to ask Angela instead >Angela doesn't know, asks why he thought she would >"Aren't you a total lesbian?" >Cue full on "THAT'S WHAT IT WAS!?" bitchfit >Crying, screaming, slamming the table, the works >Colt just sits there in the background, embarassed >Thanks his lucky stars he's not like that >After all, when's the last time he let his emotions get the better of him?
>>326149 Depends on where you place Keeter/Colt. Keeter's original concept has been putting around in Blue's art since episode 4 dropped (that red nightmare-angel from the "moth-er" image on the booru) and Colt's been the subject of a fic since episode 6. Mac might technically be older than at least Colt (at least in concept), but I'm pretty sure his whole revival as a non-incestuous being (honestly he never even had a rape green, just an attempted one, sad side effect of being conceived of during Berettabuse) came way after.
>>326150 Yeah but we're assuming that one's both the oldest and dead by default, cause we got nothing to do with her + she might technically be cannon.
>>326153 >N to N wired communication system >It works with other drones too >Uzi got brain blasted with his entire memory bank the first time they did it together
>>326155 >Colt thinks he finally found his thing with poetry >None of his siblings do it, none plan to >Then another literally wanders out of a forest >She's does poetry >She's better than him >All Colt can do is angst to the sky(Arrow appreciates the Moby Dick reference)
>>326160 You could alter it to be something a little more tame, like U- eating a drone while -U describes the delicious taste to anon and runs her claws along his sensitive skin.
>Molli's streams do a few things at once >First, they make Oogiemancer look like a battle against the impossible odds of an uncaring universe supported only by the men at your back and the rifle by your side >Second, they make Sentinels look like complete bitches >You see, when devs originally designed the class, they added the "Oogie fear" effect so that there would be a reason to drop sentinel summons + NPCs for hard mode >What this means in practice is that every time Molli tried to rely on a sentinel in/near the battlefield, they promptly panicked and ran >Regular infantry would break only after their bodies, grunts would fight to the bitter end, even liquidators would put up their most suicidal showing against the enemies of man >But mankind's 'greatest champions'? >Complete cowards that flee at the very thought of danger >This is only accentuated by the constant hyping of sentinels in the lore blurbs and in-game voicelines >Even further by the original fans all agreeing that they're the game's "easy mode" "for little babies who want to pretend to be useful" >Sentinels get assmad at their depiction now that Molli's streams have become effectively the heart of the game's fandom >Plus angry about THE face of Solver-War heroism now being a tiny child-robot never saw battle >Visit the dev HQ, suggest "things could happen" unless there are changes >Devs remove the class >Mass revolt from Molli's fans and boycott of the studio cause "wtf you're just gonna remove content?" >But the Sentinel Corps is still breathing down their neck >They'd remove the Oog fear, but apparently that's tied to something important in their spaghetti code and deletion breaks the game >So they choose a third option >Introducing multiplayer PVP! >The whole set of basegame classes, including sentinel, grunt, human soldier, human liquidator, and even the jokes like oogiemancer >As they do, they hype up sentinels as "objectively the best" even more in every announcement trailer >Furthermore, they take absolutely no steps to balance these classes in any way >When gameplay opens, sentinels players should be able to just rollover entire servers, showing their awe inspiring might and heroism >It just attracts a horde of casuals and newbies to the class >Opening day actually is the massacre the devs were hoping, complete incompetents at the head of a bootloop just brainlessly slaughtering their way through the playerbase >Then Molli did an MP stream >And Molli killed one head on >A flurry of research and tech follows >The hardass old-playerbase aren't gonna be shown up by some streamer >The new guys Molli brought in want to do the impossible like her >And suddenly sentinel players have a reputation for not only being horrendously overpowered, but so wildly useless with their power that they job to everything with a pulse >The devs weep >The sentinels rage >And deep in the upper echelons of power, a sentinel-commander falls to his knees >Two million dollars to that game studio for a propaganda piece on the Solver War, all gone >At least the game's fun, though
>Colt looks up to big brother Mac >Akita also looks up to big brother Mac >She would look up to big sister Beretta, but... >Look, she's optimistic, not stupid >She just hopes her big sister can get a boyfriend before she does
>>326151 >Mac might technically be older than at least Colt (at least in concept), but I'm pretty sure his whole revival as a non-incestuous being (honestly he never even had a rape green, just an attempted one, sad side effect of being conceived of during Berettabuse) came way after. Mac only became a shock green character well after his creation.
>>326170 Fair enough, you only really need order of birth for reasons of funny/big or little sibling decisions, and it's more important that ANYONE write green for empress than people get settled on an order.
>>326107 Kek for me I always thought that N would be clean shaven. Everything about his character like his happy youthful joy and curious nature and whatnot, makes me always immediately imagine him with more of a babyface young and fit man.
>>326181 >He is, in fact, a living Enn >Therefore he occasionally changes positions himself >Sometimes he does other things too >Once the RBG lights on her mouse got stuck purple, and she had to wrestle with him for it for a full five minutes
>>326184 That's precisely why she keeps him hidden anon, if the producers got wind of this, he would be front and center for every merch shilling piece the entire multi-hour length. She's trying to protect him from the curse of popularity she has.
>hey hey people >sseth here >today i'm going to play the most recent source of sentinel drone booty bother >Liquidation Extraction, Oogermancer™ Hard R Edition >have you, ever wanted to live the good old days of the space soviet union where death marching hundreds of illiterate retards to the front lines was standard practice? >have you, wanted to hear a sentinel drone start calling you slurs the second you show up in a match? >then i have the build for you >the oogimancy build, AKA berri boi, AKA ooger hard R, AKA potential swatting victim, is the most fun ive had playing in this blatant propaganda game >hearing the enemy team and my own teammates calling me several different slurs for a homosexual brings me joy to no end >is the build good? >no
>>326189 >Sseth was swatted by sentinels in the middle of the video >He shows up three weeks later this explanation >"And a many thanks to the Merchant's Guild, who have many ways into your prison pocket"
So the Nori of the Empress Uzi timeline: is she still a headcrab? Have a new regular drone body that she convinced her daughter to use her eldritch meat powers to give working wolf ears and a working wolf tail? Have Uzi's mastery of her eldritch meat powers be great enough that she can fulfill her mother's once-idle dream of being an okamimimi? Or should it be left up to the individual author as to what they think would be funniest?
>>326191 Probably an original author thing unless you have any funnies to post about it. I do like the idea that she's 100% supportive of the larp to contrast with the rest of the family though. >"Hell yeah Uzi, show em whose boss!" >"My daughter's a GODDESS, how about yours?" >"No, I don't see anything wrong with her drawing that badasss skull on the moon, why?"
Imagine, off-brand knock off drones with crappy built in RGB lights and outdated 2010s UI and hardware that would be the type of drones you would see a few years later collecting dust in your nearest flea market priced at like $25 - $250 bucks... And most of them even have trouble powering on.

>>326174 Holy shit actual helpful feedback. tbh, its been a while since ive drawn humans, ive been trying to de-stick myself on drawing humans on the same proportions that I draw drones with. Used to be a slightly bit more realistic on what I draw, until the drone tism kicked in.
>>326198 >Wife won't let him watch Sseth I'm sorry anon, but she is clearly an enemy of humanity and the human spirit. You have to escape now before she puts the collar on you. Coordinates will be provided in the next Mandalore video.
Alright, if you don't mind me asking, why's Uzi Prime's face so flat and empty? It seems like she was deliberately drawn a little more 2d/less shaded than everyone else and I can't figure out why?
>>326191 I figured Nori is still a headcrab. That's what we see in the epilogue, and either her solver powers aren't strong enough to fully rebuild her body, or she doesn't need to rebuild because nobody really cares and accepts her as a headcrab.
>>326210 The "Uzi explains to Doll that sex makes babies for her now, and therefore having lots of sex is why she has six children" one I think it was a thread or two ago.
>>326212 I also figured that Uzi having Doll, Cyn, and Tessa living in her mind palace makes her a genetic chimera, so Negev is also Doll's daughter as well.
>>326203 wonder if she also thinks DDs are classic vampires? for all we know she carries around crosses, stakes, silver, and garlic and went to the trouble of having some water blessed by the nearest chaplain
>>326210 >The drones of Empress Uzi's timeline have much stranger things to accept than a walking core >Between the dissembler, the more-organic dissembler, the bugdrone, and the walking abomination against all nature that is Uzi, the bunker just sort of figures the Doormans just all had a taste for "those sorts of thing" >Lizzy agrees with that assessment >Tries to start a monster lover club with Khan and N >Genuinely surprised when they aren't as into it as she is >She has a backup plan, though >Cue trying the same with all the doorman children
>>326209 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA TESSA! I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE! I CAN'T PRETEND LIKE EVERYTHING'S OKAY! TESSA HELP ME! I'M FUCKED! EVERYTHING'S FUCKED AND IT'S NEVER GETTING BETTER! WE'RE FUCKING DONE! WE'RE NEVER GONNA MAKE IT!
>>326214 >Burnt by sunlight >Feed on blood/oil >Eternal youth >Born from direct transformation by robo-satan >Bound forever to his/her will as a result
Don't see any reasons she wouldn't yeah. Though that DOES give me the funny visual of her being sure all the DDs that come to her office are regular drones in need of curing because they show up in her mirrors. Cue: >"Come back, the plague still pervades you!" >The DD running full force from the torture chamber and the madwoman/potential solver witch that makes it her home
>>326219 >the more stress Uzi suffers, the more sex she has >the more sex she has, the more babies she has >the more babies she has, the more stress she has That's kind of hot.
>>326217 >"based upon the severe yellowing of the eyes and markings, it is most evident that this noble sentinel suffers an accute case of jaundice!" >"weak ale is easily procured from the dining hall, but I fear the requisite snails may prove scarce"
>>326221 >Becoming aware of this cycle stresses the Uzi >This results in more sex >The two have completely given up on trying to double-use their bedroom even with solver powers, too many kids in-house to make that viable >So they retreat to the Special Important Empress Room for "discussion" >12 hours later, the Empress makes a decision >From now on, all finish lines will be oral only >And if Cyn has any feelings about this from her throat, she can bite her
>>326222 >As this is an attempt to treat a mundane affliction, the result fails completely >Nontheless, this merely convinces plaguedrone that more intense treatments are needed >What follows is an increasing web of trades and favors as the plaguedrone seeks out purer and purer alcohol and larger and larger snails >The DD, being french, is perfectly content with this cycle
>>326233 >This is why the thread is moving so slowly >Without a healthy population of Oogies to fuel them, the local Unnons have no way to sate their animal urges >They depart in search of dronier pastures, taking their gifts of secreted greens with them
>>326213 I'm not quite sure that's how robo-genetics works, even with the inclusion of eldritch meat, but I'm sure Doll sees some similarities. Not many, but some. >Doll is strong willed enough to assert herself after being assimilated into the Absolute Solver's internal Pain Dimension and exist independently again >Negev is strong willed enough to assert herself after being absorbed by her sister and exist independently
>>326217 There is a dd that’s a bit like that. sf-(t)epes he’s a vampire larper that believes he’s a traditional vampire so if you tell him your water bottle is actually holy water, he’ll be repelled by it but only if you tell him beforehand.
>>326131 >At least, it isn't once you realize you can't navigate your own folders to FIND anything anymore. Hello. uploader here, I have some stuff to do today so there wouldn't be any new greens tonight. In the meantime have this Thad x V green that I found that is not a green but it's a green even though it's not green. Its from a thread I haven't reached yet and I only found it by accident.
A random V got into my house and is lurking underneath the furniture. I'm not going to throw it out because it'll die in the sun, but I'd rather it not trash all my furniture when I sleep. I'll update on how it went when I wake up or whatever.

No matter how hard human soldiers tried, no matter how much effort and sacrifice they made, no matter how many combat vehicles and drones they deployed, it only fueled the monsters' rage >Until they arrived >Tearing apart the clouds of the defiled skies, they illuminated the battlefield like a last ray of hope >Sentinel drones came to humanity's aid in its darkest hour >Where they arrived, hordes of living flesh fell under a barrage of merciless fire, tendrils of evil scattered under the onslaught of righteous fury, and demons fled in terror, in a senseless attempt to escape righteous judgment >Humanity has defended its right to exist, and now it is on the offensive to drive evil from its galaxy >And the devil will be horrified by our wrath >You turned your gaze from the television to your beautiful wife, looking at her like a ancient man looking at the fire of Prometheus, which god granted to humans out of pity for their worthless lives >You pressed yourself closer to her, as if afraid someone might steal your treasure >"Thank you," you said sincerely, and felt her hand rest on your head

I hate the power creep that Liquidation Extraction has The original Liquidator class is one of the weakest classes for the campaign mode and PVP mode The game was meant to be a survival horror FPS so the Liquidator being weak in the face of solver mutants, murder drones and pure forms made sense, you were meant to run if you could and use rare powerful weapons and items on things you couldn't run or hide from But with all of the new classes? The Liquidator is a joke Fuck the devs, fuck molli for making the oogimancer build, fuck the sentinel drones for being whiny bitches and fuck the union for defending their shitty propaganda
>>326293 >muh survival horror the game was always meant to be a horde shooter no matter how much you try to gaslight yourself into thinking otherwise. if I wanted to hear bitching about "immersion" and "realism" I'd be on /vg/. fuck off back to /leg/ you autist.
>>326293 >Complains about liquidator being underpowered >Complains about realism in the same scentence
What is it that you actually want anon? Do you expect the undertrained, undersupplied, and near unsupported liquidators from the real Solver War to be carrying equipment that could make the actual "we might win this fight" combat units like sentinels blush? To carry equipment on-average equal to or better than just a straight up soldier even? Either accept that realism needs to take a dive or stop whining about weakness cause you can't have both.
Plus, to be honest the Liquidator's still kind of great if you just git gud with him. The kind of BS you can pull off between "suicidal" type weapons like the jury-rigged reactor and your unique ability "scavenge" legitimately can outpace sentinel dps with the right setup. Heck, that's completely ignoring all the other nonsense liquidators can do with their unique solver-mutation interactions too, if you're willing to undure playkng as a filthy mutie.

>>326298 Casuals and kids don't realize that the Liquidator is one of the strongest classes in the game. Yes, I'm being completely serious: Liquidators are the ultimate against any other class, even the oogimancer sucks when liquidator is played by a truly experienced player.
The secret lies in the class's main strength: resource gathering. If you pick up the right weapon and skillfully scavenge the map while receiving buffs from your teammates, the damage output is simply staggering.
Yes, it's difficult: skillfully switching weapons on the fly, grabbing every stuff you see, and at the same time, you must to have a team of people who aren't idiots (objectively the hardest part), but when you blow that damn purple shit away in one shot, it's worth it.
>>326308 Problem: you spend HALF THE MATCH doing resource gathering before your weapons even stop misfiring, cause the stupid devs forgot that Liquidators need scrap to do ANYTHING AT ALL like in the main campaign.
>Hurr durr yur team
Yeah, sure, if I can somehow make my team lay down their lives for my sorry ass all game I can EVENTUALLY do a buildup. Assuming there isn't another Liquidator on the field (which effectively halves my ability to collect my single most important resource). No, Liquidator sucks, just objectively.
I will admit to it being fun at times though. Rolling through an entire team's worth of bitchboy sentinels because the devs built the class around the idea of limited scrap and that goes away in MP is one of the most satisfying experiences I've ever had. Right up there with the time I saw an entire server start chimping out in disbelief that I stacked "emergency armor" 100 times and became invincible.
>>326309 >Stack emergency armor too many times >The visual representation for Liquidator upgrades glitches out >Now look like a solid ball of scrap metal that is somehow shooting a gun >Where will you be when the Orb comes for you?
>The grub, infant as he was, carried out many actions out of instinct >Being fundamentally more solver creature than drone, these instincts were not necessarily "kind" or "safe" or even "sane" >Still, they figured his habit of draping someone's limbs across himself before sleeping was probably harmless >Even if he sometimes used the spare limbs from their snack closet they let him chew on >I mean, so long as they don't have to be in there, right? >Either way, they made a discovery at the daycare >Their hope was that, observed by a complete stranger and surrounded by innocents, he would drop the act and finally go full Satan >Furthermore that, due to his tiny body and limited strength, even a regular worker drone could slay the beast before it did any real damage >Just one problem >They never actually researched what worker daycares involved >So when they dropped off the grub for "learning or whatever," the attendant followed standard protocol >Protocol to put him in a little jumper in front of some educational TV >And then to leave the room >The room full of pillbabies >It could have gone much worse than it did >He only "built a little house" >With the other pillbabies >They weren't hurt or anything, just freaking the fuck out >He doesn't know why N and Uzi are so upset though >Wasn't their kid the one doing this? >The grub's face when his parents realize he was building a spire
>>326312 If I remember, that was the guy who kept abusing an exploit to collect scrap without depleting the resource node, so he'd find a single pile and be at max a minute in. Apparently he kept insulting the developers and I guess they had enough.
>>326309 This is the difference between a good team and a team made up of 90% sentinel idiots. A good team works together according to a plan, rather than rushing headlong to fucking Van Helsing to get a fucking loot box.

>>326314 >kick the streamer cause you're too retarded to patch the exploit >leave the entire rest of the playerbase at the mercy of Liquidators who didn't hurt your "feewings"
They're incredibly lucky Liquidator is so underplayed. It's just lady luck that keeps their MP mode working. Do you know they aren't even updating it anymore? They've started working some freaking "co-op" bs instead! The co-op that should have been jn the game since day 1!

I'm convinced people yolo'ing with sentinels didn't even read the loadout screen or their character card. I'd put cash down that it's mostly W+m1 DD players who are used to having all their abilities on cooldowns, high passive health regen and free resurrection without having to return to spawn. If they'd even bothered to read the kit they'd know basically all of their powerful abilities either use limited ammo or trade taking thermal damage to deal huge burst damage. I guess dogshit play like this is what we can expect though, sentinels were introduced like a year before the faggot devs got on their 40k kick and did the HFY patch flattened the difficulty curve so even a game journo could play.
>>326375 try actually reading up on lore, without rewriting it for the 100 time, modern writefags ladies and gentlemen, know fuck all about the character in question
>>326374 That’s why I don’t trust sentinel drones. The only device I keep is a good old 1080ti and a gun to shoot it with if it spikes for no reason. Back in my day all we needed to hunt solver horrors was an outdated chopper and a 50cal. We really gave those muties hell.
>>326363 No argument there (though Grunts come close), but the whole point is that sentinels have the best every-fucking-thing in the game, excepting when the devs manage to retard their way into letting somebody else win. Lets take a look at some examples:
>Fuugedrone Literally the only one that can use half the game's psi system, and can use it forever instead of relying on cooldowns and limited use tools. Think for a second about just how broken that gets in the hands of someone that knows said system.
>Elf Best stealth kit and a heavy weapon with truly ridiculous damage + range AND a whole "sensor mode" on top of that. Be forever thankful that peolle just try and play her as Sentinet Batman using claws because if used correctly she invalidates the entire Liquidator class.
>Assmaster, whose name I can't remember right now Such hillariously good cqc that he can literally jump a whole squad of SOLVERPEDES and expect to pull a draw. Plus ON TOP OF THAT he has not only an omnidirectional bootloop, but AN OMNIDIRECTIONAL LAZER/POINT DEFENCE SYSTEM! One that's so automatic even the retards that usually play sentinel can get their money's worth out of it!
>Anonymous sentinel The "generic option" which, according to the devs, means getting access to literally every weapons/support system not from either Oogiemancer or Liquidator. All of this mounted on your standard "faster than a Grunt, tougher than a Secmarine, stronger than a spearmaxxing Liquidator" chassis we've all come to know and love from these types. At least the devs had the good sense to limit their equipments with the same loadout system we all have to deal with instead of letting them get their grubby hands on actually everything at once.
Now do you understand why so much of your taxes go into this steaming pile of bullshit? >inb4 the sentinels deserve it, they saved the war! No they didn't you complete peglicker, they zipped in and out of their little resort planet drinking pina-coladas while the REAL military like Liquidators bled and died. That's why they run the government today: everyone that was ACTUALLY brave was either too dead or had their org bled too dry feeding the Sentinels to contest them.
>>326378 That's mostly because Anon gets no bitches and any bitches he gets will be ungotten by the forces of fate and non-self-insert greentexts. Except Negev. You can always come back to her.

By the doors yes please source them. I found a small handull of P greens with an actual link to the threads in question and it's literally the only way I can find the cluster where he was relevant. Last thing we want to do is deny future dronetists access to greens like that.

After all, when real labs are doing experimental drugs, they keep a placebo group on standby to see how they differ from the real deal. >>326975 That’s thread lore for you. I was once a canon purist then I took the plunge and I found well written greens and cool ocs. I don’t regret it one bit.
Hot take: I think what's dragged Beretta down is her association with Jane, now that Jane is primarily a The Military Failgirl Lesbians Show character.
>>326966 >Harper tries to recruit the DD >takes her back to sentinel planet >forgets about effects on solverflesh >i'mmelting.jpg >now Harper's got EVEN MORE survivor's guilt
>>326984 I still write greens with the canon characters, last big green I wrote was about V, and a small one about J. If you want to change that write about it. Most people enjoy stuff with the canon characters.
>>326990 >Harper tries to recruit the DD immediate cap, harper hates DDs, harper isn’t a 'hacking wholesome DD le sympathiser' that you made up, when I say harper hates DDs, she actually hates them
>>326997 this needs to be the norm not the exception. too bad most of our other contentfags couldn't give less of a shit about anything other than thread politics
>>326992 >they need to be written right We'll if you've got a green we're all ears! And remember that essentially all of Beretta's old storyline was done via blocky loredrops, so you don't have the "I can't write characters" excuse either!
In all seriousness though I can't think of a better use for the Beretta/Jane relationship than the old "Jane and B bond over being friendless, but Jane ends up dropping Beretta when she grows a friendgroup outside of her" bit from the first Beretta/P green. It makes good use of both Jane's distinct characteristic of "I can and have and will again betray those relying on me for my benefit" as well as Beretta's "I will ignore blatant red flags because I'm so desperate for friendship" implications. Really seems like a good opportunity to hit both character flaws at once and start Berret on the descent that ends in Bugretta
>>327004 Nta, but the one above him Yeah…I’m at the part where they play Minecraft in sentinel roadtrip. It’s really great. I got the impression that Harper really cares about the people around her, she wants to make a difference, so she wouldn’t kill a relatively harmless dd with sentinel features. Please don’t spoil the rest for me.
>>327008 I feel Beretta might benefit from writers leaning in to her dorkyness, you know, with her being a FAILED normie, I want Beretta with mild Henchman 21 characteristics, her room should be full of Star Wars model kits and comics and capeshit memorabilia
I feel like Beretta’s ideal end state shouldn’t be “becoming normal” like she thinks she should, but instead accepting that she’s fundamentally not normal and learning to make friends who are okay with that and appreciating the friends she has that already do (Jane) more (I can imagine Beretta loudly whining about her lack of friends directly in Jane’s (her only true non-familial friend) face and Jane just being like “haha.. yeah…:(”
I think it would also work as a narrative inversion of her mother, I feel like much of Beretta’s want to be normal comes from her parents being very openly ‘pro-weird’, “we’re Magic god vampires Beretta! we’re emo and we love you, our weird daughter!” They would say in so many words, the other children avoiding her or attempting to curry favor with her because they think she’s the messiah, it would be enough to make anyone want to be normal
>>327018 >>327019 >Suffering build character They are so lacky. This need to be fixed. >>327012 NTA, I still write canon stuff like my teleportation green. And other oc's although I been neglecting my own stuff.
>>327014 those inorganic loredrops was why beretta's character sucked so much. zero story and a bunch of useless trivial information that turned her established lore into a contradictory and convoluted mess. that writefag should feel bad for shitting the bed so hard that the former thread mascot is now a literally who.
>>327017 No clear/easily written jokes or sex. It's that simple.
Negev's got the whole 4th wall breaking and female and insanity thing going for her. Mac's got thirst, ghost molesters, and femanon. Akita's got female, monster, and super-insecurity which only anon can pork out of her. Even Geist has got the whole "abused to a hilarious degree" deal going which, if you haven't noticed, is where the vast majority of his greens and art come from, with adult-grub greens mostly focusing on the monster lust of others towards him.
Beretta (by herself at least) by contrast has only female failgirl (a tremendously occupied space in the ecology given both Y and Janeposting, not to mention J herself) and Colt fails to have even that. Matter of factly I don't think there's nore than one green on the booru about him period, so if you want to make jokes about things like his disability or being passed over for Akita you need to have read through Blue's fic to even have a place to start.
All in all the two just have way fewer points where one can start thinking about them, much less center greens long or short around, and as a result are just harder to write.
>>327021 I think a strong foundation for her characterization could be a focus on the future to the detriment of the present, “I want to be normal” is ultimately just a way of saying “I want to be accepted” but true acceptance comes from being accepted for who you are when you are the best version of yourself, Beretta is surrounded by people who would/do accept her; her journey ends where it begins
>>327028 I don't think I'd drink THIS even if I were dying of thirst, but if I were facing death from a mutant mosquito, I think I could wait an hour. I'd still be sick afterward, since blood isn't digestible in the stomach. Especially human blood.
I like both, but I like that people talk about oc’s here. I prefer oc discussion over canon stuff, but only slightly. Both is good. I also really like when the canon characters are written almost perfect like they are on the show but the plot is good. Its odd to explain.
I love everything that has ever been made here like my own child, even the bad things
