Anon, what did you do to make Huntress looks at you like that?

>>314083 Hot Take: The rampant porn people made in the main thread strangled every other form of discussion and I'm glad most of the hornyposters are now gone.
>>314101 that's not a hot take that's just true. I'm pretty sure the initial "lmao Cyn rapes AM" posts were made by that one guy who kept throwing tantrums over AM being out of character in an attempt to poison the well >>314104 hornyposting is a fundamental part of /md/ but when it's 90% hornyposting it's bad for thread health
>>314108 Yeah, I'd say certain type "lively" "discussion" about a certain group of malnourished women (minus one with big evil bags) causes more harm than all the "Gib drone bottomplate" posts combinedWatch him pivot to complaining about that instead
>>314114 Casually laughing to myself imagining the newanon furiously checking through 60 pages of Jane content on the booru, seeing this old and going >AHA, NOW I GET IT. THIS MUST BE THE START My brother in Cyn you thats not even the tip of the iceberg lmfao
>>314112 Most of the problems people have bitched about over the years would have been solved by actually using multiple threads dedicated to specific content. Seriously, we have an entire board dedicated to us yet most only bother with frequenting a singular general thread
>Jane’s technically a mutant >her outer layer of flesh is biologically human, but her insides are Solver biomass >when human cells pass inside, they become Solver Microzymas and vice versa >theoretically, she contains within her the cure to all Solver sickness, a parachemical process that can resolve Solver biomass into carbon based cellular structures >most likely, she will never know [giggle]
>>314131 Anon, this is imageboard, not real life. Every anon here is at least a few thousand kilometers away from me. If I don't like something, I don't look at it, or I start a discussion about something I like.
>Leaving work early so you can surpirse your drone wife! >Going to the place where she works and waiting in a spot where she can't see you >Once she ends her shift you ambush her with uppies and then princess carry her to the car! >She screams >Then she notices it's you and calms down >She pouts pretending she doesn't like it >Once you return home you carry her inside >She drops the act and starts making out with you! >You barely reach the couch before starting the vertical tango
>sitting on the couch with your DDaughter >it's bonding time, which means you two are watching one of her shows about a magical flesh girl >she tosses a pringles chip into her mouth as she points out a minor factoid about the show she's so obsessed with >you glance at the pringles, giving her a side eye as you read the label >'Smoked Human' flavor >the girl has never eaten human in her life, being born well after the war >where did she even get those? you didn't buy them and you do all the shopping >your DDaughter notices your narrow-eyed glare and tosses another chip in her mouth before angling the pringles can towards you to offer you one >you wouldn't reject your DDaughters gift and ruin bonding time, would you?
>Fun Noon Canon Facts: you can make N fall into a despair-induced ego death coma by asking him how many dogs and loving dog owners he thinks he's responsible for the deaths of in the six star systems he and the other robo-vampires rampaged across before arriving at Copper-9
free speech is a two way street pal. if anons are free to post about whatever in name only topics they want them i am free to post about my disdain for their choice of discussion. just ignore how time and time again these people abuse this freedom by hijacking whole threads and pushing those they don't like out with coordinated thread politics
>>314147 the difference is that being a threadshitter (like you are now) can get you banned, whereas posting about mutant lesbians can't. so please, make yourself enough of a nuisance to get shitcanned, it'd be a nice little Christmas gift to the rest of us
>>314143 This would never happen, after Anon's wife got them the tracking chips they can always find themselves no matter what! And it's connected to his brain so he knows when she's close
>>314156 It helps with seperation anxiety! You wouldn't want your wife geting anxious now would you? And being able to see where your other half is can help with workplace stress! Also it's a two way street, she can't go blow her (and your) paycheck on something silly if you're watching
>>314159 >Cuter women Haha, very funny funny guy >>314163 Did it make her smarter? >>314166 The true reason to hate PS is that he plays DBD but I don't see him catching flak for that
>>314125 Same. It's unfortunately infuriating that some (particularly those purposefully seeking to shit up the place) simply refuse to do this >>314132 Wrong. My personal issue with confining basically everything to the general threads (outside of constantly seeing dramabaiting retards crying over content they can easily hide) is far more autistic; It makes trying to re-find particular pieces of content months/years down the line a major pain in the ass. It's a problem I fully admit to being guilty of doing myself given that I've also rarely bothered with posting my stuff into side threads, but with hindsight the thought of having to comb through potentially hundreds of general threads just to catalogue or properly source content not preserved on the booru is why I feel like foregoing sidethread usage was a mistake
>>314178 > writefriend melty crying because saving content is too hard is rich coming from the laziest boorujanny. maybe instead of derailing the thread with bitching you should fuck right off for good? your faggot ass have already been replaced by more reliable anons never forget that you wouldn't be having this problem if you did your fucking job properly
>>314224 Oh I’ll just upload them again now (Important note: some of this is outdated/contradictory, I plan to eventually collate everything in a unified, internally consistent document)
>>314238 Like, you can't rightclick the files in your file explorer and check their properties to see when they were made? Because that would make things a lot easier for me.
You heard about horny posting, but are you ready for lonely posting? >You will never have a drone spouse >You will never hear them laugh >You will never kiss them >You will never hug them >You will never cuddle with them >You will never look them in the screen before falling asleep >You will never feel the heat radiating from thier chassis >You will never clean and polish thier chassis >You will never hold hands with them >You will never discuss your plans for your future with them Why live? >inb4 human fucker You're here with us, lets be honest you're not going to be in a relationship with a human
>>314251 the most we can hope for are non-sentient robot companions that actually look like robots. sadly they'll all probably be used to monitor the population but at least the good stuff will be cheaper than the skinjobs
>>314258 We first need to choose a criterion by which to choose the "best," because the truth is, no matter which mutant you look at, mutations have made their lives much worse in every way. Even for Valentine.
>Hmmm, do I post my Cyn content in the Cyn thread with 3 posts that hasnt been touched in two years, or do I post Cyn in the fresh General thread that everyone is in What do I do honestly I have no clue
>>314107 >over AM being out of character AM's whole shtick was that he was driven mad from being trapped in state of permanent hatred unable to experience life outside of it.
Sure I guess it can seen as out of character, but I do think AM would change upon being given a WD body since it's much less restrictive. He would still be hateful sure, but I think overall he would be happy.
>>314144 >Be Beretta >Daughter of a Murder Drone and a Purple Haired Gremlin >You and your brother never really got to know your father, one of the only two disassembly drones left >Not because he's dead, or left the family or anything like that, but because he's just... gone >It was when you and your brother were young (and your little sister hadn't been put in a padded cell after she was found trying to tear herself open to "get it out") >Way Mom says it, he just went missing one day, and an hour later she found him hiding in a closet in the state he is now: stock still, slumped over, totally vacant eyes that can't make eye contact with anyone, only speaking up to whisper the occasional unprompted "Sorry" >If you put an oil can in his mouth he'll drink it, and he'll walk if you lead him by the hand, but that's about it >The closest he gets to any real sign of life is that he still hugs back if you hug him and he gets EXTREMELY agitated and starts crying if shown dogs or dogs are ever brought up within earshot of him >From what you've been able to tell, over time the disassembly drones just became trembling shells of their former selves one by one, and eventually started forming suicide pacts >They'd find a nice spot outside Outpost 3 and just wait for the sun >The only ones left are your dad and the mom of a couple of your classmates, who said they can't reconcile the passionate, emotionally volatile, generally loud and larger than life woman their dad told them about with the nearly-lifeless husk who just spends all day clicking this fancy pen she's really possessive of every couple minutes >You've gotten in touch with other children of disassembly drones on a private chat for half-DDs (surprising amount of the girls are named Tessa; might want to stick a pin in that one?) >Apparently, a few are able to remember that their parents, in the leadup to their deaths, got really weird around a week after watching this weird video tape >Possibly the same tape as the one My Great Despair is on in that ghost story(?) >You once asked your auntie what happened to your dad >She just said "Who cares. Big Brother really. Should have been able to tell when I was. Impersonated. Grim satisfaction." >You don't want to ask her again, she seemed unimaginably bitter about something that happened between them and you don't want to know what
>>314101 unironically, its why ive been corru-posting here despite it being so off topic otherwise:
Hear me out, I am taking the hatemonger approach to this whole situation, which makes it a win|win|win senario nomatter where the discussion goes:
>Be me, poor bastard recently infected with a drought of fandom content >Qou are just drones but aliens anyways let me post some info about them on the drone fucker threads! >SCENARIO A: some of the anons find the information interesting or ask questions about how/why things are. >In response, I shall provide more information, continuing the discussion untill it naturally dies out or it spirals into the other 2 scenarios >SCENARIO B: People start shitting on it, generally along the lines of Xenophobia >In response, I let it play out because 90% of the time, Xenophobia is funny and probably more entertaining then whatever was going on, especially if its just rampant drama/horny posting >SCENARIO C: I get called out directly by someone for posting off-topic content >In response, i do one or two things >Option A, explain that things are functionally just drones but aliens and, at least mechanically wise, is no less off topic from posting any other type of robot here >Option B, blame YAnon because HES THE MF THAT GOT ME INTO THIS AND IM MAKING IT HIS PROBLEM. Sofar, this has yielded some decent results and have caused some nice discussions because of it. I understand these are not drones and therefor not everyone's cup of tea here, but honestly the last year or so has kinda be a slowly growing slog of discussion topics that rarely veered off from >Drama>Horny>threadshitting.
Also realized how desensitized I was from it when i when my friends noticed how 'often' i was talking about/working on more 'suggestive' topics, so honestly im not far off from taking a break from here if this cycle dosent break.
I do wanna keep making content here, but im probably gona be toning this down a notch for my own sake. Which probably means no AVRE sexo, sorry for those that have been waiting
also unsure on the separate thread discussion, id just like the general threads discussions be less shit tbh.
>>314290 they can be! just gotta fine a suitable candidate drone with knowledge if that field and a willing pilot to join them!
>>314251 >>314253 even if this AI bubble dosent pop in the few years and all this AI shit gets shelved, none of it will be truly sentient and honestly, i dont see humanity making mankind any progress towards true AI with our current tech limitations
You have better odds waiting for aliens to come that are conveniently robot-shaped then anything of note coming out in our lifetimes :)
>>314310 I don't understand, what exactly was so provocative about aliens or something like that you started with? Everything seems fine, and the only problem is those who pretend to be the thread police and demand that we discuss only what they want.
I've been waiting for Avre sex for so long and now you're telling me it won't happen? Has God cursed me? What sin have I committed to receive this?!
>>314321 guess its just those people you described, it dosent really bother me what they think about it, as long as they're funny about it
>Spoiler I do not wish to be horny anymore, I just wanna be happy. While sexo might be on hole, i do wanna build more on salonanons/AVRE's relationship more, you might still get some cuddles or other forms of lighter intimacy, so it its not completely over.
>>314324 Lol, I'm one of the most active horny posters, and I honestly don't understand why anyone here wants to start a drama over various content. I liked the concept of these guys, even though I'm not really interested in such unusual games (I don't know how to describe it), the idea and plot itself are really good, I was the one asking various clarifying questions about them because I'm interested.
We all come here for fun, I don’t see a problem in sometimes discussing such things.
Hugs are nice too, but I hope you come back to the bright side.

>>314331 dont worry, ill keep posting corru stuff whenever any relevant discussion is brought up, not gona stop any time soon. Also, its not entirely horny postings fault, just the cycle of drama/thread shitting contracting with it makes me kinda miss the more normal discussions we had about the show and topics that came from it. (hence, im enjoying the corru posting, so thanks for being so interested in it)
>spoiler When i do get back into it, I should hopefully have a bit of a better idea of what I wanna do with them, current plan required ALOT of plot stuff to happen, which kept burning me out before i even got to the important bits, hence why its been taking so damn long.
>>314335 Harper must find a solution to the problem of young sentinel drones. Their behavior, to put it mildly, is somewhat tarnishing the reputation of sentinel drones.
>me showing my beautiful (J)ife the Bentley Continental wrapped in a large red bow and parked in the driveway (she is in matter collection mode after she jobbed while making mashed potatoes)
>>314334 Eh, unfortunately, there is nothing left to discuss on the show, everything has been said several times, all that is left for us to do is create our own content and discuss it, and this, for some reason, causes incessant bouts of anger in some people. We just have to ignore them.
I'll be waiting for new corru stuff, unfortunately, there is surprisingly little of it on the Internet.
The best horny content is horny content with a plot, when there is foreplay leading up to the most intense moment.
>>314343 >J finally collects enough matter to return to drone form >she looks out the window to see a discarded red ribbon, a motor oil stain on asphalt, and an acid-pitted license plate covered in spittle >realizing what she's done, J morphs one of her hands into a gun and blows her digital brains out >J enters matter collection mode just as anon's insurance company drops off a replacement Bentley in the driveway >by the end of the day, anon's (J)ife has finally calmed down and stopped killing herself in a loop >of course, all that matter had to go somewhere...
>Pavo always loved doing Christmas decorations at the base >Now that the war's over, he has an entire house to doll up >He'll start planning months in advance, and spend all of December making art from tinsel and LEDs >Techanon's house wound up being the shining star of the neighborhood... >...until a new family moved in just across the street, with a DD who shared his fervor for the season >Now, the two houses stand opposed, Pavo ranting about how he NEEDS to show that murder drone up >Anon, ever the diplomat, just went over to their house and had a chat with the guy there, who was equally tired of hearing his wife talk about how she's going to upstage that stupid blue chicken across the street >The two humans binge-watch sappy Christmas movies until they devise a plot to see the two reconcile their diffferences >By "accidentally" entering their houses as a duo into the planet's decoration contest, the two would be forced to work together, no doubt butting heads all the while and trying to one-up the other's additions >They'd end up with something gaudy with both houses clashing with each other, they'd get a pep talk from their respective humans, sprinkle in something about the True Meaning Of Christmas, and they'd make an attempt to cooperate that'd see them winning the prize! >They both agree this idea is stupid, but they're drunk on egg nog and send in the contest entry form anyway >They meet up and get drunk yet again when the plan goes off without a hitch, doing so well that the event makes the news and has a movie made about it
>>314310 >Xenophile propaganda No, I'm not getting alien cooties, also the idea that if aliens more advanced than us find us won't immediately enslave us / wipe us out is palpably innocent
>>314342 >and this, for some reason, Probably because of how tenuously connected to the universe of the actual show most of it is. Also, hornyposting burnout.
>>314356 Dogs pant because they can't sweat. Pugs' flat faces make it harder for them to regulate their temperature, so they pant more. Unless the ayy lmaos are planning to breed our sweat glands out we should be fine on that front.
>>314358 >Gllerglorb, your fucking space monkey left the liquid on the couch again >Thk'khs, it has glands in it's skin flesh that cool it >This room is air conned anyway, it doesn't need it, get rid of them >I'll get the bioprcessor
>>314359 >Gllerglorb was actually getting the raygun that vaporizes Thk'khs, leaving only teeth behind >he beats the murder charge on the grounds that because Thk'khs' teeth survived he isn't completely dead >meanwhile, Jerma shoves someone into a meat grinder >only their eyeball comes out intact
Probobaly going to be blackout drunk in a few hours so.... Merry Christmas guys! Remember to take breaks guys, it really helps, I haven't been writing for only five days and my blood is already boiling to do more Chuuni Uzi, a few weeks can really be enough to get you back in the mood for heavy duty drone posting (or be enough to break the spell and go free). Also there are still normal topics to talk about, but I don't have anyting against funky alien posting, even if I don't like them (Not racist, looking at them makes my head and eyes hurt) and I'm going to enage in hornyposting anyway so I can't throw stones
hi i’m anonymous and i’m tell you about my murder drones au that’s totally like— OH MY GOD PAVO WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING ON THE GROUND WRITHING IN PAIN
>>314348 >no reason why an alien civilization more advanced then us wont immediately enslave/wipe us out 3 reasons actually: >while they technically have more advanced tech then us, theyre still really far behind in basically every other demographic (population, social structure, etc) and even ~decades of public interaction, the human population probably outnumbers the qou 1000:1 >these things eat metal, and have already stated to jave been mining dead planets for their metals long before reaching earth, which otherwise offers very little in terms of raw non biological materials. >with how this corru shit works and how the qou use it, they really, really dont need human slaves, trust me on this, they have something much better and much more morally questionable then slaves. (Ill explain later, at work atm so moble posting)
Also, not all the qou are uwu sweety pies, they range alot in charicter and just send those ones out to interact with humans more often because it seems to work. Ill explain what the other caste of qou are like later as well
>>314387 Alright, then why didn't we decide to kill them and steal thier shit? We love to do that to each other and there's nothing that makes people come together better than outside threaths (even if they are only percived) >at work atm so moble posting Oh that must suck, hope you get out soon
Right, going to be dirnking with my family soon, so time for last minute hornY posting Hugging Y! Holding hands with Y! Kissing Y! Cuddling with Y under a blanket and falling asleep!
>>314389 >why didn't we decide to kill them and steal their shit? Well theres a good reason for that! Some big ass catastrophe hit them at some point, killing a good chunk of them on earth and destroying basically everything they had on earth at that point. What Qou that did survive that basicly rebuilt a smaller version of their first embassy (obelisk)(ontop of the ruins of their old one) and have more or less gone radio silent and hid there. As for their tech, you (the person you play as in the game) are one of the people going through old recovered qou tech dug up from wreckages from the sea floor, and happen to find a cyst (biological harddrive) that may give a good answer as to what the fuck happened.
>>314397 Ahhh so we are scavenging their tech in order to go and teach them how we "love" our neighbors, say you said those lithoids need minerals to live right? How good are they at mining?
>>314397 Damn, I thought they had some kind of deversion inside the embassy that emitted the signal, but it turns out their entire civilization got pretty damn damaged.
>>314404 t's okay, Molly will take her out for drinks so she's not alone on Christmas. then the little naughty lister will vent all of the year's woes, fall asleep being hugged and comforted, and be carried home by her not-quite-big-sis
>>314345 Oh, and the DD across the street is, uhh, KD. She was a photographer's assistant as a worker, and as a DD she was given the task of documenting the war's progress, getting to keep her personality so she could get good footage of people dying. She found her husband in a bunker, carefully ferried him across a dying planet to an evacuation center, and they promised to meet again once the war was over. KD was very surprised when it actually did end with humanity still around, and even more surprised that he survived. She's not a fan of Pavo because she's seen him work from afar.
>>314414 Solver War veterans are divided into two types: those who admire Pavo's zeal to defend humanity from any enemy by any means necessary, and the damned slaves of the devil who need a bullet in the temple.
>>314345 > reality hits and it actually doesn't work out > they don't even get third place with mish-mash everything ended up > the fists started flying soon after
>>314322 Alright so basically I got this idea from seeing this image posted on here, it is gonna be a little green about anon being a trucker in Texas working for JCJenson Logistics Division, it's a story about that one night he had an assigned Co-partner which is Tessa. I don't know wether to make her ditzy and new/inexperienced or more veteran and experienced with the industry. I also haven't made a green longer than one page before too but I don't plan on this being too long anyway, just a cute romantic green not any sex or horny stuff but actually just adorable cute time that anon remembers for the rest of his life. I was planning on posting it to /co/ then here but unfortunately I got a three day vacation for posting an image that had my little pony content in it which I completely forgot your not supposed to post outside of its board, I find weird since I saw another anon post that exact image and nothing happened to him but it is what it is
>>314342 >Eh, there's nothing left to discuss on the show, everything has been said several times. I know that this is your opinion and all but I'd argue that you're completely wrong on that aspect, I find it kinda strange saying this but then later I check out the rest of the fandom everywhere else and discussion about the show and all of its inner workings and whatnot are STILL going hot. Yes I do understand that the show is pretty short as indie shows usually are, but I fail to agree with you when this show (and Liam with all of his autistic madness) blessed us with miles deep of content to explore and play with, it's just a matter of each individuals imagination from what I can see.
>>314429 Oi, i never said there was nothing more to talk about show wise, just that the repeating topics of these threads never landed on actual discussion and just kept in a cycle of drama>horny>threadshitting.
If you wanna make discussion about the show im 100% down, but untill then im going to suffice with my corru-posting
>>314431 Yeah, why don't you post it here friend? >>314434 Ahhh, each to his own, I get a feeling Yanon would much rather have a place dedicated to that but no such place exists, and I can understand it I Warhammer post sometimes, I would much rather have a good place to discuss Warhammer but alas I'm fucked an it doesn't exist (even /grog/ devolved into AI shit flinging)
>>314435 Yeah they're annoying as fuck and the attempt at thread policing like I'm doing now sadly doesn't help. But if you want unrelated offtopic the best you can do is: >Related to /MD/. >Create a new thread for it.
>>314437 >Why don't you post it here friend? I was planning on /co/ first since I do actually still really love that place and wanted it be like sort of my own little gift to it and I wanted anons who hang out there to have the first glimpse at my little story. And don't get it twisted in any way or something I also have love for this place too, I've had deep and fun discussions with anons on both boards but I just felt like posting there first that's all.
Also btw what's the character limit of each post on here and /co/?
>>314428 We've either already settled on canon and dotted the i's, or simply accepted, "Liam's over it." The outside fandom is constantly discussing the same thing, or creating discussions like, "Is N really a Nazi if he walks around like Hugo Boss?" And while I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, let's face it, debating the same thing for years isn't the most interesting thing to do.
And no one is stopping from starting a discussion about the show's official characters and plot. I always try to get involved in it, just like with the topic "was it really Cyn or did Solver take over her body?" But anons have long since made up their minds about this and have written about it many times, so expecting them to write the same thing over and over again is pretty illogical.
Fuck, I wrote two lines with the same meaning, I really should have eaten and drunk less, whatever, I don't have the energy to think much anymore. The good old days are never coming back, but that doesn't mean they won't come in another form, so we're just waiting for our autistic faggot to come with a new show.
>>314441 There is a reason I chose an American setting because I'm just more familiar with it than the Australian setting instead. Like I know the type of truck models, the road system, signs, laws, etc etc.
>>314443 On 4chan, the character limit is, I think, 1,500. Here, the limit is much higher; I forgot how much the Black Hand said, but I feel like it's somewhere around 10,000.
>>314457 WHITE'S THE COLOR OF SNOW, THEREFORE IT IS ASSOCIATED WITH WINTER, AND IT ISN'T WINTER EVERYWHERE ON EARTH RIGHT NOW, LIKE IN AUSTRALIA FOR EXAMPLE... BECAUSE AUSTRALIA'S GONE. DOES THAT MEAN AUSTRALIANS DON'T HAVE CHRISTMAS JUST BECAUSE IT ISN'T SNOWING? ...I GUESS THEY DON'T 'CAUSE THEY'RE ALL KINDA' DEAD. YOU GET WHAT I MEAN. NOW IMAGINE A NUCLEAR WINTER, IT LASTS FOR YEARS! DOES THAT MEAN NUCLEAR WINTER IS CHRISTMAS FOR A DECADE STRAIGHT? EXACTLY. POINT IS, WE CAN'T CALL THE THE COLOR OF SNOW THE MAIN COLOR OF CHRISTMAS, BECAUSE THEN THOSE MURDER DRONES WOULD BE THE COLOR OF CHRISTMAS AS WELL! SNOW'S YELLOW TOO SOMETIMES, APPARENTLY.
>>314438 yours (and theirs by extension) points is valid, probbaly should setup a corru thread just to discuss some things.
However, that wouldn't fix the other issues with the main thread, which is what prompted this whole thing (50/50, i also just like loredumping) Im down for compromising or even stopping altogether if it becomes an actual issue, but as of now i would consider myself at worst the lesser of like 5 evils here.
Also, home now, which means I can expand on some discussions from earlier. >>314387 >>314401 Tech: I still struggle to comprehend how fucking weird this tech range is, its so backwards its funny >they have spaceships, but are basically only usable by the qou because they have no atmosphere and will just kill any living thing inside, even their own (larval) kind. >most of their weapons are ether melee or thrown weapons, with the only known 'gun' they have is a 'Symbiotic Rifle', which is a modified human rifle. >Despite having cloaking/ disguise tech, do not understand greater scale combat, and are somewhat tribal when it comes to any form of engagement. >They are only barely understanding the concepts of electricity. >Not even sure they would count as a type-1 civilization yet, as far as im aware they haven't even fully conquered their home planet yet.(granted, from the descriptions they gave, its more or less a death planet, full of their own special horrors and monster to deal with, including a parasite that body snatch one victim and use its body to lure in more, pic rel)
Metal: >>314400 >They seem decently good at mining, but no specifics outside they probably have specialized golems for it. >They dont seem very picky for what kind of metal they harvest but any they do they convert into a fuel called 'Sfer' which they use for powering most of their tech and for qou to ingest.
Golems: This one I actually dont need to explain myself! there's a conversation between a qou and a Human they basically boils it down for me: Q: Qou explaining the concept H: human asking
>Q: you were curious about the barfriend (Golem Bartender), too, yes?
>H: Oh, yeah! It's... Just like a person. Or an AI pretending really well. It told me a little bit about "echoes" being an "imprint" or something, but... How does it work? It can't just be a copy, right?
>Q: it can be, but that is not the entire view, a jut in the echo-making field could explain this better, but as i understand, for these simpler service echoes, a baseline is taken and... i suppose you could say it is pared away, like removing the unwanted skin and tendrils of a fruit until all that is left is what is required for its function! then, it is given layers of limits, domain knowledge, guidance... creating a mind in the shape of a 'person', as you say, one that may even be very familiar to the original obesk, but without the underlying structures--experiences--that gave the original their shape and often without many of the processes that may once have been utilized, does that make sense?
>H: Yeah... (unnerved)
>Q: but--perhaps my knowledge of the process is outdated! i am among some of the older qou, you understand, so maybe it is better left to a jut, hehe or, perhaps a tir, who may guide you to one with just the right knowledge!
>H: Sure... thanks.
Basically, if a qou wants to make a golem, it makes a copy of its personality, strips it of every thing unneeded, given rules and limit's, extra info for the task, and turns that into the Golem. These guys basically mastered the lobotomy before ethics where invented, take that as you will.
>>314408 As far as im aware, the event at the embassy was only an amplifier for another source, from one of two possible locations. Eather that asteroid sending the signal in the sea, or something to do with their home planet, we dont know yet.
>>314463 Wow, so they literally create clones of themselves, but they deliberately make them flawed, so they can become mere slaves. Well, yeah, that's definitely bloody terrifying for us, but they're aliens: don't take your rules to someone else's temple, as the saying goes.
By the way, could you describe their growth stages in more detail? I still don't fully understand it: do they initially live like us, supposedly more biological, and then transfer their consciousness into a robot?
By the way, are all the aliens we see real or are they slaves?
>tfw you will never upload a lobotomized version of your psyche into a worker drone and force it to wageslave for eternity to provide for you and your disassembly drone wife
>>314465 >Growth Stages: Unsure how the genetics of the castes goes but a Larval Obesk are more less a standard biological human looking alien with a few querks: Omnivores, have some Chitinous plates, Cyan blood, and clawed fingers. They more or less live 'normal' lives on their home world (it being a death planet, 'normal' is relative) Unsure of its a genetic or cultural choices but obesk can be devised into 5 'caste's', which are different roles in their society and are identified by the type of receptors they have: (Qou technically count as a separate caste, but use the receptor shape of their previous bodys) >Vel: Spiraling, ram horn-like receptors. Surface runners, known for their humor and social skills, most common of the caste to be interacting with humans. >Jut: Short devil horn-like receptors. Engineers usually, socially mixed and are generally fixated on their jobs/tasks/hobby's >Kiv: long, segmented receptors. Biggest of the oblesk usually, these typically serve as guards or security, but also help Vel with construction. Known for having paranoia. Im actualy trying to work on a Kiv character as we dont really know much about these besides one dude. >Tir: Branched, antler-like receptors, sometimes resembling hands. Bad fighters and are usually categorized as therapists. They produce a acid they helps with excavation (which means they also double as miners) Known for their empathy and kindness (and sometimes dumbassery)
Once a larval obesk reach the end of its life (rarely through natural causes or old age), they can chose to ether die like normal or have their minds transferred into a mindcore and get bodys made of corru, turning them into Qou.
We still dont know 100% for sure what they look like in person, as all we can see of their is their memory 'signatures' but one things we do know is that they do look at least somewhat diffrent, maybe more humanoid, maybe alot less.
And no info about how they looked in their larval stages outside my previous descriptions
>>314479 It's intriguing, but it helped, thanks. It's quite interesting to understand their psychology now, since they seem to think we're cool and treat us well. I'd like to better understand their attitude toward us, because from what I understand from the guy from the human organization, humanity is extremely suspicious and wary of aliens.

How can I convince my wife, a disassembly drone, to make peace with our neighbor, who is a sentinel drone?
She doesn't even live near us, just a group of homeowners, but the fact that a sentinel drone has appeared in our neighborhood is driving my wife crazy. I hear all sorts of weird robot-racist bullshit every day, and she won't just ignore it. I'm so tired.

She’s gonna have ice crystals growing out of her skull and a note about how unbearably hot she feels. You can pick up her clothes from a pile next to her. They smell and can be sold for 2 dolla.
>>314659 I never decided on a final ending for Holly one way or another, the only thing I’d confirm right now is that she was on Copper 9 at a facility far in its northern hemisphere just months or weeks prior to the core collapse. There is one reality where she ends up merged into a Cynwalker like creature with her personal assistant Bellatrix, alive to some degree but dangerously unstable. That was just the result of “what if?” speculating though so I consider it only a possible future for her.
>Molli's viewership has already been steadily dropping for the past few months >come Christmas day, her dwindling number of viewers hemorrhages as all but the most degenerate spend the occasion with family >she hates her job but the double digit viewer count still stings, doubly so since it means she's humiliating herself wearing nothing but a bow for at best a few dozen dollars after her producer takes his cut >she's sick of opening "presents" too. not one is for her, they're all "for her amazing fans." >every one is some humiliating outfit she has to promise to wear on a future stream, and with every gift comes a revolting TTS message from one of the whales in chat >she opens another, and met with the sight of a school uniform and a bright red backpack she can't hold back the tears anymore >she holds up the little schoolgirl outfit for chat so she can hide her face behind it >then the door behind her bursts open, and a full squadron of police grunts swarm into her room with a DD in riot gear leading the charge >she's being swatted. it's Christmas day, and she's being swatted. >Molli sits helplessly as the squat tin soldiers stomp, shred, and devour every last gift for her entire meager audience to see >at least she won't have to wear them anytime soon >the DD fumbles with her computer, struggling to find the power button on the blinding RGB obelisk before giving up and yanking the plug out of the wall >"Molli's Merry Xmas Xtravaganza!" ends abruptly on a shot of the titular drone looking dumbfounded as her tree topples over amidst a blizzard of shredded wrapping paper while 6-8 black grunts play tug-o-war with a tattered maid uniform
>>314667 I'm writing about her today, although it's a continuation of the young Holly story not an expansion past the end of the show timeline. It's easier to fill out past stuff right now because I know how she started and where she would be by the end of the show. There's like half a dozen post-show timelines/settings/universes and I don't really want to try and weave her into any of them. I guess at some point I will have to clarify what exactly my vision of the pre-show events does and doesn't involve. I know it started with the "Office AU" and her Research Team 4 being a more competent but less senior organization to Henry's Research Team 6 with the idea that there are many branches of JCJIS R&D all squabbling for hierarchy and resources.
After that the idea of a grand but still undefined "Solver War" was introduced into the threads, and in my vague vision of the setting Holly uses this (and the deaths of many other JCJIS board members on Earth) to consolidate substantial power into her R&D group and starts building isolated secret facilities across several star systems to perform various forms of research into the Solver, Disassembly Drones, and developing methods to counter them. This period of time is when a lot of the human centric stuff would happen, grunts in power armor and space battles with giant solver creatures, liquidator teams desperately trying to stamp out early outbreaks before they get dug on isolated colony worlds, etc.
This would reach a peak during the prolonged fight for and eventual fall of the Platinum system which is when Sentinel Drones first hit the scene along with a bunch of other advanced weapons, however this only temporarily stalls the Solver in a battle of attrition it's impossible for humans to win. Sometime during this period is when humanity as a whole fully realizes just how fucked their situation is, the "war" turns into a fighting retreat, and contingencies like city-ships, secret self-contained space stations and dangerously volatile superweapons like the vacuum-decay bomb, magnetar gun and molecular destabilizer are hastily created and used with catastrophic results that fail to turn the tide. Somewhere in this time Holly overturns Oslo-2s pharmaceutical industry to develop a pseudo-bioweapon that can infect and kill solver organisms like a disease, something goes terribly wrong with this and Oslo-2s entire population ends up dead.
Late in the "war" I imagine buried bunkers on isolate outer colonies like Copper 9 are the only static places left, with the majority of surviving human populations uprooting themselves in favor of a growing fleet of refugee ships striking out into deep space with no plan to ever stop. Holly visits a secret facility far in the northern hemisphere of Copper 9 which is doing similar anti-solver research to Cabin Fever labs, Nori causes the core collapse either while Holly is on the planet or soon after she departs for places unknown.
>>314668 >Molli doesn't even really feel nervous anymore when the helmeted DD approaches her. prison or suicide by cop would be preferable to her usual position anyway >"ma'am, we're taking you down to the station for some hot chocolate" comes a silly voice trying very hard to sound gruff >looking up at the drone nearly twice her height she finds herself staring at a bright red nose squished up against a bulletproof visor, with an even brighter smile below it >Molly pulls the riot helmet off with a *pop*, thick braids of pink dyed yarny hair flopping out as she tosses it aside >"let's getcha into something warm, hm?" the DD waves her hand and one of the grunts produces a large, particularly ugly Christmas sweater covered in Christmassy clowns and holly jolly harlequins >"sorry about the size" she chuckles as she pulls it over her smaller successor, "this was super duper short notice so I hope you don't mind wearing one of mine" >Molli is relieved to be wearing actual clothes, but still mostly dumbfounded >she can only stammer out a few incomplete "whats" >"c'mon down to the station and I'll explain on the way" > >Molli peeks above the eye-level dashboard of Molly's squad car as the snow-covered city lazily rolls by >the policewoman turns the heat up a few ticks as they hit the first stoplight. "nice n' toasty?" Molli nods meekly. >"perfect. so..." Molly trails off, trying to find a place to start. "I've been working this case– er, your case– all year" >the light turns green and the cruiser lurches forward, the old engine rumbling in accompaniment to Molly's excited spiel >"I was gonna do it the easy way at first and just buy out your contract at first, but hoo boy you wouldn't believe the price tag on that. me and Pav' couldn't put that together in three lifetimes" >"so I skipped forward a few steps. I knew your... producer..." her grip on the steering wheel tightens "...had some dirty laundry. so..." >without going into too great a detail, Molly explains that some thorough detective work dug up a mountain of incriminating evidence on the little drone's producer-slash-manager-slash-owner >putting it all together took most of the year, and she had to get some help pulling more than a few strings, but enough red tape had finally been cut away to have the sleazeball arrested >as the pair pull up to the station and step out into the bracing cold, Molly's rambling explanation draws to a close on a note that shakes Molli out of her bewildered daze >all of her producer's assets are being seized by the state >and his talents get top priority >"and since his studio isn't legally allowed to operate anymore, well... I just had to make sure that broadcast stopped ASAP. doing my duty, and all." she grins >"plus I had to come over to get your gift, anyways. I gotcha your very own self." she beams, flinging her arms wide open for a hug. >"hope ya don't mind sharing with me!"
>>314671 You don't necessarily have to try to integrate the character into any setting yourself; that can be left to anons who will take advantage of their autism and come up with a logical way to incorporate the character into their favorite setting.
In general, since I personally love the Veteran AU, the idea is that humanity was able to hold out until Cyn was sealed in Uzi only because Cyn herself didn't want to end the conflict quickly, but wanted to see how humanity would fight her. Now, as I see it, Miss Holly could have survived (after all, the fusion event is just one of many possible branches), and as a leading scientist and creator of sentinel drones, a weapon that people could cite as the main reason for the "victory" over Satan, she could not only retain her power and fortune after the collapse of the Federation but also increase her standing, becoming one of the most influential figures in the Union's politics and society.
Although, of course, reading her greens didn't give me the impression that she's hungry for power and wealth, she certainly is striving to acquire resources to conduct even more experiments and research (especially those that aren't exactly permitted).
Just write in the setting you want, anon. The main thing is to convey the character's personality.

In any case, presumably the same as the human economy minus things they wouldn't be able to use since they're robots.
>>314674 I definitely couldn't see her becoming a politician, she only administrates RT-4 as a necessity and leaves most of that actual organizational work to her department heads. Her mother was a politician and her father was a more conventional corporate CEO and to say that her relationship with them at the end was as cold and distant as interstellar space would probably be an understatement. She views politicoes and corpos as necessary but flawed tools, those in the world with ambition and vision need to use them but they are inferiors. Having to deal with them is something she finds to be a tiresome necessity to get what she wants.
>>314677 Well, that's similar to many little-known rich people of our time. They too wield enormous wealth and power, yet they're not as well-known as CEOs, who, while they may determine company policy and direct internal processes, are primarily public figures, not executives. And as I can imagine, the difference between them and Holly is that she uses these resources for science and personal research, not for further wealth accumulation. Incidentally, she may be assisted in resource management by Bellatrix, her assistant. The worker drone isn't nearly as well-known and discussed as Holly. I hope to learn more about her.
By the way, from old artwork of a young Holly, I can tell she's quite a cheerful and curious girl. Can these works still be considered canon?
>>314679 They absolutely are. Her energy is a bit more manic than cheerful though. Like a lot of Oslo-2 oligarch's children she's a designer baby, subject to a huge suite of pre-birth genetic tampering to craft what her parents believed would be the ideal heiress to carry on their vision of the family. Among other symptoms, her early childhood was plagued by what we'd class as hyperactivity and insomnia, she was obliged to take a long list of drugs and hormone treatments, and limited cybernetic augmentation to resolve the conflicts between natural puberty and unnatural genetic alterations.
>>314681 Reading stories of parents in Asia forcing their children to sleep and literally live in schools to get them to study harder, I have no doubt that if the opportunity arose to genetically enhance their children (even at the expense of many mental health), it would be done immediately.
[spoiler]Kek, so Holly could become a yandere if she met some guy and fell in love with him? Kudos to her parents, as they say.[ /spoiler]
>>314688 Because of exams, I couldn't go to the village to see all my relatives, but at least I spent the holiday with my mom. She made lots of goodies, and I helped her, and we sat together and watched old Soviet Christmas cartoons.
All in all, I think I had a pretty good time. How about you, anon? Have you sobered up, or are you ready for another round?
>yfw Uzi wasn't trying to protect anyone when she went vampire hunting in the middle of the night, she was trying to get her dad and the normalfags to validate her >yfw Uzi stopped giving a fuck about what happened to the normalfags because with N around she has all the validation she could ever want >yfw Liam didn't realize how what he was writing came off and even if did realize how it came off he's too autistic to give a fuck
>>314690 This is literally what baffles most normal people when they watch the show. Their subconscious knows it's complete bullshit, but since they're too normal to delve into a simple YouTube cartoon, they simply feel uncomfortable.
>>314690 (me) >>314692 Friend of mine just weighed in on this: >A thought strikes me, something that's been kinda percolating in the back of my head related to this: I kinda think the Invader Zim style zany black comedy writing is inherently incompatible with trying to actually have a plot which the audience is meant to take at least a little seriously. If we're going for pure Great Value Invader Zim, then that read on Uzi works because it makes her a comically awful and selfish person.
>>314690 (me) >mfw I realize that Uzi's going to go right back to being desperate for normalfags to validate her now that she's dealing with the additional psychological burdens of needing to pretend she's not an Nth dimensional centipede monster now and being bullied by a very much alive Vore GLaDOS >mfw that's the psychological kick in the pants Uzi needed to become the more or less (she's still very autistic) functional person she is by the time her kids are born around the start of the Post-Good Ending timeframe
>>314694 I haven't seen Invader Zina, so I can't comment on that, except to say that Uzi is literally a school shooter. Like, she even technically committed the school shooting, even though she didn't kill anyone.
>>314689 >>314689 My uncles have run me through the vodka ringer, I've had enough for a few days. Had a lot of fun, visited most of my family, and we're having a second smaller party today I have also met my cousins gay lover from america, which was a surreal experience, mostly because he is like 20 years older than my cousin
>>314702 Sounds great, I'm glad you had a good time with your family.
>Spoiler. Well, all I can say is: it doesn't matter that someone is gay, what matters is that he is not a faggot. Although that still sounds like total shit.
CHESTNAUTS ROASTING ON AN OPEN FIRE DEAD MUTANTS ALL PILED UP IN DROVES MURDERED DRONES WITH EXPOSED WIRES AND IF THERE'S SOLVERPEDES LET ME KNOW
EVERYBODY KNOWS A RIFLE AND SOME MISSILES-TOE HELP TO CURE THE SOLVER'S BLIGHT YELLOW CUNTS WITH THEIR EYES ALL AGLOW MEN, WE DINE IN HELL TONIGHT
THEY KNOW THAT JONES IS ON HIS WAY HE'S LOADED LOTS OF GUNS FOR THOSE HE NEEDS TO SLAY AND EVERY MURDER DRONE IS GONNA DIE LET'S SEE IF A DEMON REALLY KNOWS HOW TO CRY
AND SO I'M OFFERING THIS SIMPLE PHRASE TO MY MEN, 457 TOO ALTHOUGH IT'S BEEN SAID MANY TIMES, IN BETTER DAYS MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU
Classic OC’s on Christmas green HOLIDAY PARTY! >John is singing a horrible karaoke rendition of that Mariah Carey song dressed half naked as Santa >Jane is piss drunk on half a bottle of non-alcoholic eggnog and trying to kiss every drone. She later attempts to light a firework off inside the bathroom because she says she saw a rat >Akita eats LED lights and attempts to impress everybody by lighting up like a tree but she looks like a LSD fruit cake >Teli/Bunnysuit tied herself up nude in a bow inside the closet in a attempt to be exciting and sociable. unfortunately she won’t be found until next morning >E >Masqy is the party host unfortunately she is “occupied” with Overseer which allows Juggernaut and Handler and others to raid the entire wine and liquor collection. They will join John in obnoxiously singing Silent Night and Auld Lang Syne >Y sings Christmas songs in German trying to be quirky but due to poorly tuned AI from the 21st century the lyrics automatically mentions the words “Kirk” and “Charlie” >Molly proves she is easily the one of the best singers on Copper-9, she with a voice that could make the most hardened Solver War vet cry and remember warm childhood memories, she cries as she remembers the Season 2 Christmas Special she filmed, which was one of the highest rated TV episodes filmed pre-war with almost 114 million viewers on premiere and to this day has a 9.6/10 rating on IMDB >Molli usually spent her Christmases alone in her room streaming, so sitting on the patio alone at a party and getting wasted on a bottle of JD is a somewhat improvement >Mylo refuses alcohol and instead gathers random drones to recite Bible verses relating to the story of Jesus, a throwback to way back when when his producers were bought out by Paramount and his episodes became questionably more “family oriented” >Strawberry is in the oven with the gingerbread, which smells like a warm bakery >Beretta still has to work ever since she had a fight with Uzi and declared herself independent, moved out to her own place and had to find a shitty job at CiCi’s Pizza (she will be back home by New Years) >Pavo is kicking ass with enthusiasm at karaoke which isn’t a big surprise >Somebody got AM drunk and now he won’t stop trying to make out with John calling him Ted while sobbing. >Doctor Holly can’t help but tell anybody she can get ahold of that Christmas “is actually a pagan holiday” and that Santa “was really made by Coca Cola” but is a slave to the Holiday season and American capitalist commercialism as much as everybody around her. She is also wearing an ugly sweater >Dubs is dressed like a reindeer. A fat fucking reindeer
>>314668 >>314672 >>314731 Cute and hope pilled my friend! I want to see more stuff with Molly and Molli, they would make funny roommates. Don't expect many replies right now all but the most drone obsessed spend the time with family
>>314741 Chuuni Uzi got a few more parts if you're interested https://dronebooru.co/posts?tags=chuuni_uzi > New OC, drawfriends, art Go check the booru, there was a lot!
>>314743 >>314744 >>314746 Sounds wonderful friends. As for my Christmas it's pleasant so far, spending time with family, etc...but how is (You)r Christmas going? I hope you're having a good one. >Bonus Question: Is fave on the naughty or nice list? What did they get in their stocking?
I’m sorry for my lack of a substantial Christmaspost, I’ve been very busy all day, I watched “The Passion of the Christ” with my mother earlier :) (it’s very good, I’d recommend it) Merry Christmas again everydroney ;)
>>314629 >>314634 Sure, here have something a bit more seasonal. I am not sure how visible Tessa's wiggling eyebrows are on her dark grey skin but that is the color her original design head.
>Be you. > A new drone. > You woke up in a new world, delivered as a drone from across the stars to Anon on Earth. >Anon receives you with kindness, and you bow deeply, swearing to him servitude and devotion as your new master. >It's Christmas, a human holiday Anon explains it to you as a time of joy, gifts, and togetherness under twinkling lights. >Your head tilted in confusion, from those unfamiliar concepts, but the idea warms something deep inside your core. >Anon pats your head gently, a strange spark of affection surges through you, unlike anything you got on your home world. >You work tirelessly to prepare for Christmas, cleaning dishes with precision, baking delicious cookies with sweet scents no one can resist. >You decorate the tree with ornaments that shine brighter than the heaven above. >Anon watches you with concern, asking if you're overworking yourself, but you insist your purpose is to serve. >Your battery drains faster than expected, and you collapse into Anon's arms, coughing up a spongy, pale matter that writhe on the floor before dissolving. >Anon ignores the odd substance, carrying you to recharge, his touch tender like a dream you never had. >As you rest, your vision gets blurry as the room warps slightly, walls breathing, but you dismiss it as low-power fatigue. >You wake with determination, realizing you forgot a gift for Anon, your first true master who saved you from your misery that you can’t afford to disappoint. >Snow falls outside, cold and pristine, your first touch of it. it feels oddly sticky on your sensors. You had never touched the snow before so to experience it was delightful. >You wear the scarf that Anon has gifted you, soft and red, wrapping it around you with a smile that seems too perfect. >Too good to be true. >You tell yourself to focus on your mission. >You push on out despite the worsening cough, searching for the perfect present. >You feel something crawling inside you. >You find a small box in the gift shop that appears out of nowhere. >You hope its contents will surprise and delight him. >After returning home and coughing again that spongy flecks speckling the wrapping. >You gave your gift to Anon. >With excitement, Anon opens it and tells a joke about how drones like you make holidays magical. >His laughter makes your core feel warm inside. >The box releases a thick, swirling gas that smells of decay and rot. >As Anon's skin starts to melt, his hair falls in clumps, and the room around him dissolves, his eyes widen in bewilderment and then horror. >His voice cracks in a desperate plea as he reaches out to you. >Then he dissolve into fungal like material. >You look at him helpless and confused. >His screams haunt you. >Then the world around you crumbles: Christmas lights twist into parasitic shroom hat, snow turns to ash, and Anon's leftover unravels like overripe fruit. >The hallucination spores were dissolving from your body when you woke up on the fields of Agro-C. >Your body still rusted and alone. >With a broken smile on your face, you get up and go back to your never-ending work, the emotional wound of your lost joy etched further into your spirit. >You said one last thing with despair: >”Why did I woke up?”
>>314695 (me) The start of the conversation where Uzi admits to Beretta and Mac that everything Negev said about her being a giant centipede monster is true: >"Kids, remember how I've told you how I was finally forced to grow the fuck up when all my maladaptive coping mechanisms broke down?" >"Yeah...?" >"Did I ever tell you WHY all my maladaptive coping mechanisms broke down?"
>>314801 Anon, where there's one of these things, there are five. More of these vile creatures will start coming to you soon. I'm telling you, you better shoot it right now.
>>314803 Oh come on, it can't be that bad! I think it wants to go for a walk! It found the leash from when I still had a dog, ohhh I'll need to get a new nameplate There is no pinups of Uzi on a leash where she still has her limbs
>>314805 Okay, I warned you, I hope your area has cheap rent so you can quickly find yourself a new home when the disassembly drones come for these things and destroy your house, and then the sentinel drones come for the DDs and destroy everything that's left.
>Spoiler We have a nugget. A nugget takes up less space, it's more convenient.
>be john (the human) the drone >you slowly open the door to your bunker residence, eyes peering out at the dozens of drone optics looking back at you expectantly, shining like Christmas lights >dozens of drone children and teenagers- worker, disassembler, mutant and stranger still look up at you with fanged teeth, little paper hymnals tucked in their hands >a few carolers you know better than others, Beretta with her long, golden hair tucked beneath a winter hat, Mac pushing a wheelchair with a slavering and restrained Negev, solver sapiens staring at you with a dozen eyes >"Merry Christmas!" the assembled drones cheer >their chaperone, J puts her hands on her wide hips as she steps before your door >"Allow us to grace you with a holiday classic, over 1000 years old," >the assembled drones breathe in and you notice the titles on their papers >1001 Classic Corporate Jingles >WHOPPER, WHOPPER WHOPPER WHOPPER >JUNIOR, DOUBLE, TRIPLE WHOPPER >you slam the door closed >the drones outside blink their optics >"Damn, what a grouch..." >to slam the door on a classic like that and not even offer some warm oil to carolers...
>>314811 He has Stage V Corru-rot. We need to cut his alien yuri supply and reintroduce drone kisses into his daily routine, lest he starts hearing the Call.
>>314819 For this Christmas, I have stolen the life-size model Juggernaut from the nearest war museum. It might be an actual live Juggernaut who was given orders to act as a static museum exhibit, though. That's your problem now if so.
>>314816 nah man im fine, just a little headache that's all while your here, can you provide me directions to the nearest population center? thatd be great.
>>314842 >>314843 >Uzi is deeply insecure and desperate for validation >Ragatha is terrified of people's disapproval and desperate for validation Think Uzi and Ragatha could have been friends for more or less the same reasons Uzi and N became a couple?
So considering Doll almost certainly ate those prom queen candidates' cores, they would have been in her mind palace before ending up in the AS's and then Uzi's. Which makes me wonder what kind of fucked up J-horror anguish dimension Doll's mind palace would have been at the time.
>>314692 Tbh I felt more annoyed than uncomfortable when the show tried to treat death seriously when Uzi was killing her classmates left and right. I guess I am like Liam in way since I watched it for the fights and not the supposed lore.
>>314701 Yeah Invader Zim definitely doesn't make any pretense that it's characters aren't awful or at best just rude, schizoid, or abrasive people. The whole setting of that show is grungy, run down, the way I think of it is like "Modern Day Dickensian". It goes out of its way to present you the least flattering interpretation of a 1990s-2000s cartoon suburbia.
>>314865 >when Uzi was killing her classmates left and right. That's not the part that bothers me, since she was out of her mind with thirst; I have a hard time holding what a babby vampire does during their first Frenzy against them. What bothers me is how little the show cares. I wonder how much of this is purely from Liam viewing normalfags as annoying insectoids and how much is from a combination of that and Liam wanting to rush to the Cynwalker reveal so he can start gooning to the embodiment of every single one of his fetishes.
>>314871 (me) Upon reflection, I think empathy for normalfags was just one of the many things cut from the serirs for time as a result of Liam's cocktail of autism, disgusting autismo internet fetishes, and ADHD.
>>314875 The AS doesn't make Tessa see what it's doing with the body it made from hers and Cyn's. It makes her see what her friends are doing with the second chances at life that she personally gave them.
>>314871 >Liam viewing normalfags as annoying insectoids I can never tell if we're joking with this or not. Liam's way more well-adjusted than the average /md/roid, I doubt he actually holds spite for normans. He just wanted death as a punchline and didn't really give a rat's ass about it impacting his show's tone, which he always intended to be a silly romp through a horrific world.
>you got buzzed at the Hughes siblings' Christmas shindig >that video of your loud, horribly offkey karaoke of Light the Sky on Fire went viral >it's getting some attention outside Outpost 3 >your brother did a reaction video watching it when he found out >he brought your sister in so she could react too >your grandma invited herself to the recording >they all unironically enjoyed it
Oslo System (Formerly 82 Eridani), Oslo 2 Colony, December Universal Standard Calendar, 2989 Part 2/? Part 1 >>311531 Wonderful art courtesy of Bunny
>She raised one skeptical brow, beginning to circle her robotic chaperone as impatience with the luggage handling got the better of her, peering in fascination at the fine joints of his hands and neck, invading the drone's personal space to stare into the screen that displayed his eyes >"Personal projects? Like what? Some kind of boring multiplanetary business deal? Pharmaceutical stocks? Is he in some branch of the government?" >She had exhausted what little interest these shallow and long-unchanged subjects held years ago, and would be sorely disappointed to be exiled to live with another boring family member >The diminutive robot perked up >"Oh no miss, he's been modifying some factory default Worker Drones for a special project involving the Number 12 Climate Stabilizing plant, I'm sure you saw it on the flight in" >Young Eliza's eyes glittered with sudden interest >She rocked forward and back, practically jittering with anticipation now >"Surely you mean he's overseeing a team of roboticists, yes? Will we have contractors tromping back and forth through the estate until the project is concluded?" >"Not at all miss! He would never hire another designer, no miss! He has performed all of the work to date himself." >"Oh excellent! Wonderful! I would like to go meet him now, immediately, expeditiously!" >"But miss, your belongin-" >"I don't care, I simply must meet grandfather now, tours and lodgings and such can all wait." >Without further protest the Drone butler made a small formal bow, providing her his hand to lead the way >In this bracing weather she expected the slick polymetal digits to be cold, but his palm was surprisingly warm, she could feel a faint hum that made her think of hydraulics
>Sea spray crashed against the sheer cliff producing a rhythmic thundering of water against stone, filling the air around her with a damp spray that smelled faintly of iron and unidentifiable chemicals >Until humans had violently altered Oslo-2s climate it had been a frozen world, all this water locked up in miles of iron-hard, sterile, irradiated ice >No fish swam these recently-thawed seas, no reefs populated its storm-ravaged coastlines >The manor itself was clearly new, despite adopting a gothic style that had come back into style less than a hundred years ago, it's weather stains were shallow and it was clearly regularly cleaned, the heavy blocks that made up its walls were cut to look like heavy brickwork but were clearly modern polycrete >The front entrance was an anachronism, it was a full airlock with a spacious mud room, a necessity that had been discarded before her own father was even born when Oslo-2's atmosphere was rendered breathable >Despite its baroque ornamentation of dark imported wood and polished brass fittings this room was also clearly functional, the doors closed behind her with a heavy mechanical thud and they waited in the rapidly warming and drying room for a minute until the inner door chimed and opened with a faint rasp of equalizing air pressure >Wide-eyed, Eliza Holly stepped into a grand entrance hall which was populated entirely by bustling Worker Drones
>One drone adorned in a sharp-cut modernist maid's dress detached herself from the bustle to meet with Holly's chaperone, dipping a curtsey to both of them >"This is Miss Eliza?" >"Indeed, her belongings will be along presently, please see to it that they are taken to family apartments. The young mistress is eager meet with her grandfather right away so we'll be dispensing with the tours and introductions. Let the kitchen staff know they can also begin preparing dinner, I will...attempt...to dislodge the master from his studies long enough to eat" >Efficiently the Worker Drone led Eliza out of the hall and through a massive room that seemed halfway between a packed pre-spaceflight special collections library and a museum of technology to a spiral staircase >She counted the steps off in her head, they passed three landings each with sealed, hatchlike doors clearly of much older, industrial make. The door at the lowest level opened into an austere office suite that stood at odds with the opulence of the modern mansion above it >With a start she realized from the compact dimensions of the room and it's slightly curving monolithic polycrete ceiling that this was an original buried colony bunker which had an opulent modern mansion built atop it >The walls were lined with cases overflowing with books, solid state drives, all manner of information storage devices >The next room on was a sort of tinkerer's heaven, work stations for various tools lined its walls, she saw some obvious drone body parts in various states of disassembly or re-assembly, clearly in the process of being repaired or modified >Her grandfather's study was the final room, another sharp contrast from the functional rooms, this had the appearance of being an entire apartment with a small kitchenette, a heavily worn metal framed bunk bed and industrial looking wardrobe in one corner >He sat hunched at a large workstation strewn with a combination of data storage devices and hard paper printouts
>The butler Drone cleared his throat, the hunched figure barely shifted, he spoke gruffly and in a heavy "colonist" accent that Eliza had never heard outside of historical documentaries >"Loyd, I told you before I didn't want to be disturbed" >Her Grandfather's voice reminded Eliza of the sound of the surf, ponderous, loud, rumbling in his chest >The Drone, Loyd? put on a surprisingly familiar, sarcastic voice >"Your Granddaughter, Sir. Her shuttle arrived, delivered her to the estate and departed...ah, half an hour ago."
>>314881 >Be (You) >Quietly Singing a soothing lullaby to your little droneling and slowly pulling them to sleep, it's cute little digital eyes staring right back at you... It feels protected around you >You do this since it's your turn to take over cradling the baby from your dronewife who is currently in "Sleep Mode" back in the bedroom >You're incredibly exhausted and dead tired, only running on a quick cup of coffee and a couple tabs of ibuprofen >Throughout all this you keep your chin up and don't stop till it's finally fully asleep, you carefully place it back in its crib, and tiptoe right back to bed
you probably won't realize it yet but much later in life you'll look back at this moment fondly, raising your little pill-bot offspring to be big strong worker drone
>>314869 Into the show's plot and Liam's own story. We're so damn autistic here that we spent years trying to figure out the show—what normal person would do that?
The dead drones and humans inside of Uzi's mind palace have access to an unlimited number of imaginary Ns. They have since formed relationships, marriages, and harems with the Ns. 99.9% of the population refuses to emigrate from Uzi's head back into real world bodies unless their N is transferred into an appropriate body with them.
Well, it seems clear why Holly's parents preferred servants of flesh and blood over metal. Apparently, Holly's grandfather preferred robots not only in his personal life, but even over his own children, so her father (or mother?) might have harbored resentment.
fun fact: Rhea’s sacred nymph form’s height has been buffed from 14ft to 18ft because I misremembered one time and accidentally added 4 to the number. instead of correcting this i’m rolling with it because it makes her more imposing. average drone would literally be like, just under knee level with her. literally so puntable from her point of view. lorewise it’s not outlandish. she’s a tree after all. even after attaining that form she’d probably still be growing slowly after her whole story arc in my head concludes. make of that what you will.
>>314935 Oh her parents were estranged from her grandad before worker drones even arrived on Oslo in large numbers, the reason for the split will be explained in upcoming parts.
Fulfilling Y's deranged fantasies! I'm just glad she didn't invite Jane this time, I don't like stabbing her with a knife so that Y can drink her blood
>>314945 You know, the fist time I had to tie Jane and draw her blood and then watch Y go over to her on all fours and then yank her leash so she doesn't drink any untill she says something degrading like "Ze hundin vants ze rat blut, master" I thought I can manage, but when it became a weekly occurence I begun to have doubts
>Sadly, country music and nightcore just do not mix.
First of all, I would like to apologize for my attempt at a Southern accent. Regardless, it is implied that Nori and Alice have some kind history together as Alice specifically mentioned her when torturing Uzi in episode 6. Unfortunately, whatever this may have been was never shown in the actual show. I have heard people argue that Nori used to bully Alice in their Cabin Fever days based on that one picture of Nori showing off her Solver power while Alice has her face slammed in the wall but that is mostly speculation. I did consider giving Alice smaller antlers to indicate she was younger, but I ultimately decided against it as I thought people might not recognize her without them.
>>315005 >be anon >you teach biology, or whatever the drone equivalent would be called >school administration scheduled your class for the period before lunch >every one of your DD students is drooling all over the floor by the end of the class >you can fill up an entire mop bucket with DD saliva as you clean it up after class
