Hello, this is technically nothing new but iirc the first time we see it onscreen.
Rewatched 4 and noticed that Darren's dead deceased devoured corpse switched colours from his prior green lighting to red, with visible 1001.
We see every dead body in the spire, the Elliot's pile or even some in Alice's room have red lights and 1001, but this is the first and only time we see someone die onscreen for sure with loss of colour etc.

(For example Amda 'died' 20 years before 6 but kept her teal light, since CFL drones were all along implied to be ZDs. At least we know for sure Nori and Yeva were, Amda[kept her colour]and Alice[has visible 1001 while active]are. The red lights on corpses in Alice's room however imply that either all those drones had red lights or weren't ZDs for some reason, which raises questions why they even were in CFL)
Pretty neat to see such attention to detail and consistency even with such really minor moments and characters. I am unsure why it was never animated with anybody but Darren

Not sure if this would answer your question and I've said this before, but Liam should've treated the show's view of violence similar to MadWorld. Keep it a "violence = funny" dark comedy but actually condemn the mindless violence that is happening and show the deaths of innocent civilians as something consistently horrific (No "ha ha it's funny when we kill innocents but not when our enemies do it"), and all the comedic deaths come from those who could take it like the DD's.

Murder Drones was actually a 7 season cartoon that was created back in 2016. Every single OC here was actually a part of the original show, their backstories slightly different though like Beretta being Uzi's sister/rival and Akita being a creature that Uzi accidentally created that had all of her memories or Jane actually being a shameless self-insert and gag character based on story board artist Janet E. However, in 2020 the Hadron Collider experienced an anomalous power surge which caused the past 5 years of our history to merge with another dimensions past, the machine was temporarily slowed down to prevent any further damage to our time stream. This is why whenever you read a green or recall a character you could swear that they feel like that they were practically alwsys there. A prime example of this being comic relief character Serial Designation E, who several times Anons have believed and rightfully so that she was part of the original show. Regardless of how much mileage you give Liam's retrospective explanation of J's characterization/motivation, I agree that at the very least J is an incredibly self centered person with a fatally warped worldview (Do what Boss says, complete the Job, Resistance & Dissidence = Insubordination) that poisons her every decision. This could technically make J a "coward" for not even bothering to push back against the blatant evil she willingly served, but I think there's enough nuance/vagueness to also interpret this as her being sufficiently 'buck broken' or conditioned into seeing her actions as the '''logical''' thing to do. The same can also apply to J's sense of loyalty; Maybe she's swaps "Bosses" out of a sense of selfish self-preservation or empowerment, or maybe she just rolls with it because that's what she considers to be '''logical''' (J not immediately coming to serve Uzi after the 'defeat' of Cyn makes this question particularly intriguing as it creates some interesting implications towards a potential change in behavior).
