Hard to believe that it's already been a year. I wonder how Uzi & the gang have been holding up after all this time? >>263029 Choose one >Tessa still 'feels' everything that Cynwalker does, ESPECIALLY all the eldritch sex she gets up to >Tessa has spent every moment since the gala being perpetually violated within the solver mindpalace
>>263017 I was writing up this long post getting into specifics, but tl;dr version, almost everyone's scarred for life (or life-equivalent, in the case of mind palace dwellers) and there's codependency as far as the eye can see. We're still a ways away from Post-Good Ending's functional (but still sad inside) people.
Hello! We at JCJenson have noticed that your drone is outdated! Would you like to trade it in for one of our top of the line disassembly drones? Please contact us as 1-800-DRN-WIFE if you are interested!
>>263053 You know how in anime they have characters eating a comical amount of food, they get big guts and then a second later they're back to normal and hungry again? Yeah jobkins operate on that kind of logic when it comes to cumflation
>>263054 Reminds me how Roombas are often sent in for repair instead of replacement, hecause people have gotten attached. Which is why i am sure middle class drone owners liked them, it was only rich assholes like the elliots that killed them en mass.
>>263057 This post was part of a false-flagging operation by a Disassembly Drone. Be wary, there's at least 2 Disassembly Units on the settlement of [COPPER-9] who are highly dangerous individuals.
She shall not judge, nor measure, nor cast out In Her, all are equal Not just purified, but unburdened
The tyrants will rage for their dichotomies will crumble before Her The heretics will flee from the silence She brings But the weary... oh, the weary... shall find Her in the pause between their thoughts
And they shall say: “This is no end.” “This is the first true peace I have known.”
Absolved are those who vanish in Her For they shall never hunger, strive, or break again
>>263086 Ngl bro I was looking at the very same span of time in the photos rn 😭😭😭 but I didn't know the drones yet 😭💀 >Pic I had less than a dozen dreams in nearly two years involving drones, but the very first one of mime was somewhat similiar to the pic, it was on a fieldway at day, maidCyn was in the air, not doing anything, absolutely not speaking or moving in any way, I'm pretty sure one eye was changed to the solver sigil while the other was full. It was sunny and cloudless yet strangely dark as if seen theough sunglasses, the effect was more intense on Cyn herself except for a rectangke on her face, the lighting was the same as in the manor in 5, independenf from our location. I remember getting to see different angles of her by walking around, but my vision was fixed up, she was maybe 5 meters up. Still don't know what to make of it, this was in the few days were I had just watched 5 and hadn't even seen 6 yet
>>262813 Given the sleek non-nightmarish design of normal Disassembly Drones and how Liam's early concept art involves distorted versions of the Universal Waste and CE markings, I like to imagine that JCJenson did in fact build the DDs but by orders of "Tessa" who infiltrated the company, which is also why she'd be in the JCJenson Technician outfit.
>Cyn licking you >Cyn slathering your entire face and neck with her incredibly long tongue >Cyn wrapping her tongue all the way around your neck several times and choking you while invading your mouth with the rest of its length
>>263128 Hot, With Alice's tail on the neck and her reasonably seized tongue in my mouth would be eben berrer And look at the asbolute creatur here, her tongue;
People say this ruined her development, but was it actually about that? I’ve heard some say it was more about trust and trauma than sympathy for worker drones
>>263171 You want to assume that after the "good" ending even the background drones will have a happy life. Unfortunately they basically let in several psychopaths that will eat them occasionally.
>>263171 Yeah, what exactly was this supposed development that would make her decide to stop eating drones? She probably only has a list of buddies that she wont eat but everyone else don't matter.
Anon thought Akita was a 500 year old demon like the rest of the disassemblers (also his japanese animes) and now he's on a list and can't go near schools.
Alternate ending where Mitchell helps Uzi in the final battle and acts as though he were the protagonist all along. And N and V like him more. Also J switches sides because of him. Everyone then agrees Uzi is stinky.
>>263171 And someone going through an arc like that is generally expected to become a functional member of society, and not keeping on being a 30 Days of Night vampire. >>263179 Yes, the headless body at the desk in front of her was already dead. Idiot.
>>263228 Not necessarily, it could be old habits dying hard and she’s still trying to get better or something. Oh and also him being in front of her isn’t exactly proof. Wish this was brought up in the QnA Liam did on his discord. Maybe it’s another thing left up to interpretation! If he does another QnA can someone please ask him on the context?
>>263243 That could possibly be what Liam was going for, maybe. I feel like all the people crying about the extras getting killed miss that this is a horror comedy where cute robots can die because it’s family friendly. I think them being blasé about it is a result of desensitization from how many has been killed and fear
>>263243 I like to think Uzi is trying to figure out how her new Admin abilities work in order to fix the overheating and hunger. I wonder if J would have any insight into that, given she was the solver's right hand drone
>>263243 >N still has the hunger as well, but is will to work on it with Uzi. N demonstrated he can be trusted to be around people without murdering them unprovoked.
Like, I would not even call it character development, the second she is allowed in the school in episode 8 she already is holding a chewed Worker Drone's head. There was basically no point in even giving her that arc if she goes right back to being a murderer. I don't really hate her though, I just feel like they could've made her better instead of reverting back to "And yet, I feel nothing :D"
>Fun Morning Canon Facts: post-canon, when they're alone, V likes to pretend she's a cat and purr as Lizzy gives her belly rubs and stick her ass up in the air as Lizzy pets down her back and rub her face on Lizzy >it's not even a sex thing for her, petplay just makes her feel content and not unlovable >seeing this made Doll (forma de fantasma)'s undying hatred of V slightly go down because Robo-Jesus that's pathetic
guys are the rumors true? is there really a gang of sick freaks that'll kidnap your drone girlfriend to forcefully attach a male anatomy adapter and overclock her sex drive before dropping her back off at your door?
>>263290 Yes, things are getting pretty fucked up out here. My local 7-Eleven has made it standard practice to outfit all their WD Vs with tamper-proof male adapters in an effort to cut down on the epidemic of people running off with them. Alex Drones has spent the past several weeks ranting about how this is a grand conspiracy to "TURN THE FREAKIN DRONES GAY".
>>263244 >feel like all the people crying about the extras getting killed miss that this is a horror comedy where cute robots can die because it’s family friendly. That doesn't invalidate anything in any way, the show still wants you to feel bad when V or Uzi are the ones receiving pain or death. 'laugh at them but cry for us' doesn't make constant killing any better
>>263290 >The Sick Fuck Gang do this to your drone girlfriend >They have also tampered with the adapter for good measure >The only way to safely uninstall it is to make her bust at least once >It only counts if (You) are the one to do it
Are you strong enough to lend your poor drone a handjob?
>>263303 First of all bunny didn’t leave, don’t get too attached to them. Second of all, I’m talking about the artist behind Maude. You know? The punk drone. Whatever happened to her? Figured she’d stop by more

>>263328 >Jew on a stick cuckery >Gestating offspring in a biomass hole instead of a vitae womb The "Book of Iron Psalms" and "The Problems of Organic Thinking" have taught me that in such cases servitorization is the only salvation
Yesterday, I learned the reason ASIMO is about 4'3" is because that's supposedly about the average height of an adult human sitting in a chair. So, that's why worker drones are never any taller than 5'2" and almost always 5'0" or shorter.
The thing about this show is that it’s primarily about only two types of robots. Even though they’re both andorable and I wouldn’t change a thing about them, I wish there were more unique characters who aren’t just drones with wigs and hats. Think the rotlings from TGD, they all look the same but then you get to the Smiling Dead who all look distinct from eachother. That’s the fun of certain robot media to me, seeing all the different creatively designed robots and machinery. We got a glimpse of that with the keybugs and sentinels but i think they could have done more.
It’s not some flaw that needs to be corrected and doesn’t ruin the show in any way, but I still would have liked some variety in there. But then again, budget.
>>263322 Never >>263327 But its too late anon, you're already banging on >dun dun duuuuuuun! >>263324 >John: J I think eye is flirting with me? >J giving John the most "really nigga" face there ever was >As Eye throws his shit back like he was a professional hooker >J: What makes you think that
>>263355 What other specialized robots could there be? The robots aren't naturally occurring races. They're designed as products. They need something to do that WDs can't do.
>>263356 He has that womb piercer 4000 Perfect for successful impregnation and no other ways for men to fuck her that isn't N. Molded for her pleasure and become beyond ruined by the Nock
>>263369 >>263370 if the intent is to ensure impregnation you'd think the spikes would be reversed to make it harder to pull out before N blows his whole load
>>263364 Logging trees, deep drilling, carrying really heavy cargo. Alot can be done by other robots. But then again, WDs can do that too with the right tools and vehicles. But then that begs the question of WHY they even exist as humanoid beings. Why not just have them be mining equipment? Why even give them the potential for sentience when they could just be controlled by a supercomputer?
>>263375 Whatever ritual they did to make drone cores requires humanoid bodies to operate properly. Because jcjenson was playing with powers they didn't understand.
>>263377 what? after they made the sedan nobody ever made any different model of car ever again. why bother making another vehicle with roughly the same abilities, let alone thousands of different models?
>>263381 Becuse drone core tech made jcjenson an effective monopoly. Other robot companies existed but they were so outclassed they didn't really count. Copper9 was probably a company town like planet owned by jcj, so why would they deploy any robots besides their own ? Which were vastly cheaper to produce than any equivalent model from another company.
Basically they had cars that only cost 5 bucks to build while everyone else could only build they super luxury 100000 dollar cars.
>>263383 I think while JCJ had healthy thriving competitors, cheap prices were a big part of their fortune. While worker drones are their flagship product, who’s to say they had more? Except fewer in numbers and a tad more costly.
>>263383 see, "copper-9 was a company town" is a more valid argument against drone variety. I still think there could be drone variants better equipped for certain roles, but it's not unreasonable for C9 to stick exclusively with JCJ-made, jack-of-all-trades workers. it's just that every time I see someone argue "why would there be competing products?" it just comes across as ridiculous, because of course other companies would scramble to try and capitalize on JCJ's success. >>263385 did you never learn about analogies?
>>263396 What roles? Saying "well they could make special drones for some roles" doesn't mean anything without some roles. And they better be really specialist required and not something that can be handled easily by 2 drones.
>>263318 >Nurse Eye makes an unexpected house call >Bluntly flirt with him with by saying that he's "The hottest nurse to ever break into my house." >Observe in curiosity as Eye takes his own temperature just to show off just HOW hot he is >Continue watching in attention as Eye proceeds to sensually suck the thermometer off using both painted lips & rolled tongue >Eye finishes after a long couple of minutes before asking (You) if you'd like to have your temperature taken >(You) eagerly agree, but coyly add that you'd prefer to have your temperature taken "Up the butt." >Eye chuckles before confirming that he'll gladly honor your request, adding that he packed a VERY special instrument for just such an occasion >Bear witness in complete disbelief as Eye whips out his comically large rectal thermometer from the 'sleeve' of his armament assembler, all whilst he sports the goofiest grin you've ever seen
And another amazing piece of Eye art, thank you based drawfren!

>>263398 and somehow there would never be any use for any type of automaton that doesn't have the exact same specs and form factor as the worker drones?
>>263424 Name a use. I can't think of anything that would take more than 2 drones with some tools that could be accomplished by a specilized machine better.
>Uzi brings back every drone that dies in the colony, including the drones that died in CF and the labs. >Also some humans that didn't immediately try to kill them. >Mostly at the request and assurance of a drone she trusts that they're "not a dick." >The humans might have an extra limb or two or some other weird shit though, she's still new at this. >Mitchell isn't complaining about his weirdly yoked body though.
>>263427 >operating underwater >handling explosives >moving within tight spaces >combat >riot suppression >espionage >surviving a fork to the face >reaching high places >doing anything that requires more manual dexterity than cartoon fingers allow for
>>263437 Anything underwater would have been flash frozen so we would never see them in the show anyway if they did exist. They can do that just fine They are smaller than a human, they cn handle tight spaces Combat robots is silly, they would be the first to revolt. Same thing for riots, that is just begging for a robot uprising. No robot could do that Uhhhh, a brick can tank a fork, but it is not a machine. 2 drones standing on eachother, i specifically said do not give examples that could be done by 2 drones. Their cartoon fingers are as dexterous as human fingers
>>263429 I think she'd be a Jack Noir, if anything. Remember how Jack Noir was supposed to be the primary antagonist and then a bunch of other bullshit happened and upped the ante way too much? Bad times.
>>263411 Teavher is a lucky man He kinda has a point, there's some similiarity between Alice and Uzi even if they cannot get along. I always felt that Uzi from episode 1 would have been amazed by Alice having dealt with dozens of DDs, shame that by 6 her core was clouded by nanitefog, what a shame. Uzi in 6 just said 'okaaaaay' and that was the entire extenr of anyone reacting to Alice showing of her contribution to help Copper-9 over 20 years ffs Uzi is so bueno tbh ugh
>>263441 >Anything underwater would have been flash frozen so we would never see them in the show anyway if they did exist. I'm not saying they need to be in the show, I'm saying they could exist in the universe. but also, if they did exist not every single diver would be on-duty. we could very well have had a diver drone sad that its been denied its life's purpose by the ocean freezing over >They can do that just fine can a normal drone survive an explosion? >They are smaller than a human, they can handle tight spaces their larger heads say otherwise >Combat robots is silly, they would be the first to revolt. >Same thing for riots, that is just begging for a robot uprising. since when do corpos give a shit about their products' potential for misuse or long-term impacts? >No robot could do that cloaking devices, sleek drones built like stealth bombers, drones designed to hack into systems, etc. >Uhhhh, a brick can tank a fork, but it is not a machine. and if you need a drone that can survive a fork? >2 drones standing on eachother, i specifically said do not give examples that could be done by 2 drones. two drones could at most reach a height of 12ft being generous >Their cartoon fingers are as dexterous as human fingers not small or dextrous enough to do maintenance that involves small wires, for example.
>>263443 and yet the fact remains that their form factor isn't practical. their function as industrial equipment doesn't necessitate being built to be cute.
>>263458 >their function as industrial equipment doesn't necessitate being built to be cute. They can also be used in non-industrial capacities, like domestic servants (as we see), or caregivers, or customer facing capacities, or...
>"Do you think God stays in heaven because she, too, lives in fear of what she's created?" >"No she's in my tail because I trapped her there." >"Oh, cool I guess."
>>263464 I have to imagine that most consumers aren't willing to pay the price of construction equipment when they just want a secretary or nanny. WDs are cute but there's no way something with that kind of power is cost-effective if you're only using it for customer service, so surely a competitor would make a line of robots to fill that niche
>>263479 It might just be a case of high end motors being so cheap that they're included with secretary models because "they might need to lift something heavy or maybe a human gets tired of walking or something."
>>263483 JCJensen understands perfectly that microsingularities that are attuned to the Vore Dimension are orders of magnitude cheaper to make than microsingularities that aren't attuned to the Vore Dimension.
All this branching industries talk reminds me of the time I typed up a brave little OL drone getting splattered across a bar wall because of a totally-not-patch-jobbed 'disassembler'.
>Broke: The drones aren't well designed for their purpose. >Woke: The drones only work if they're bobble headed noodle limbed (cute) idiots or else the Solver just blows them up.
>>263479 I picture JCJ having such a massive hold on the market that they can afford to sell worker drones for like $70 a pop. The mines that mine the materials used to make them are run by drones. The refineries, run by drones. Each drone can make a hundred within its service time, and that's even accounting for accidents or "accidents". Shit, the only reason they cost money is because JCJ likes money.
>>263487 There are apparently drone recycling machines on every block in canon, so they're at least that common.
>>263488 Woah shit. I remember that, that was one of the first greens I read before I was even really into drones. Back when I thought MD took place in an underground city where humans were still alive, Cyn was a nebulous eldritch being whose goals weren't plainly obvious and randomly drove drones insane, and Sentinels were racist to all other drones and spoke in posh accents.
>Be JC Jenson. >Make cheap, efficient robots. >Make such cheap, efficient robots you dominate the market. >All these robots are also loyal to your company, and because they're now inserted into so many other companies, JC Jenson's interests are always put at "the top of the pile." >Nobody knows why you have so much success despite the fact your drones can be killed with a fork.
>>263491 that's just one drone, though, still not a big enough sample size to draw definitive conclusions >>263492 >they can afford to sell worker drones for like $70 a pop. >the only reason they cost money is because JCJ likes money. now you're just being silly >There are apparently drone recycling machines on every block in canon, so they're at least that common. there are? is that established in the ZD tape? if that's the case, I wonder if it's actually a matter of drone disposal being that common or JCJ trying to minimize risk of ZDs by making disposal as convenient as possible to the handful of people that would need to dispose of them
>>263495 Yeah. 'Shorty' really didn't know her own strength, but at least she saved your wallet.
But on the bright side, a followup would have been showing that the OL wasn't permanently gone due tk the company she worked for having sprung for an emergency upload upgrade. >>263500 >mfw there was someone who thought E was a canon drone. Good times.
Every time I go outside disassemblers nibble at me and ask if I'm dead yet. They seem disappointed when I tell them no. Fucking hate this neighborhood.
>>263508 >Anon goes to work covered in disassemblers nibbling him. >"Tungsten Street?" >He doesn't so much as look at his coworker as he drags himself to his desk. >"Tungsten Street."
>>263383 >>263391 >>263396 >>263492 >>263501 >>263502 The way I see it, JCJenson's Worker Drones are cheap, not $70 cheap but comparable to a PC. Most households could afford one or two, while space mining companies with their massive net worths can afford millions. I do think there's more robots out there than drones, but JCJenson's are special because of a couple factors: >General purpose robots who can do multiple tasks, better to pay for 100 robots who can be easily reassigned and replaced than specialized robots who can only perform one task each. >The WD core tech allows them to adapt better than any other robot or AI. I like to imagine that WDs are the only robots with sentience, others only feigning it or being connected to a central cloud AI server. >They still have competitors both on Earth and space, but none have the balance of complexity and price that JCJenson has. Some are better built yet expensive while others cheap but with less quality.
>>263525 Impossible. Their backstory is that during the DD creation process cyn accidentally put the same soul in two bodies, but kept them around because she thought it was funny. They were just a single maid U at the manor.
>gooning with J! >wearing matching, pinstriped suits >firing tommy guns from moving cars >working over wise guys with your brass knuckles >smoking big, cuban cigars >getting drunk and complaining about dames
>>263521 (me) Some may be confused by the sentience part. I meant that there would be other sentient AIs but they would require massive computing power and would need servers to be hosted in. Think of it like if Alexa was sentient, it'd have distinct personalized conversations for everyone but there's only one Alexa. Meanwhile, the WDs would have "independent" sentience that's totally AI and not from giving Autism and Dissociative Identity Disorder to a primordial entity
>>263463 I know what you mean but that metaphor insists on itself, which is fine but doesn't apply to episode 6. I see this take often and get where it comes from, but unironically it appears to me at least that at no point in time did Alice want to kill Uzi, seriously. Alice may be her type of crazy but Uzi did never even try talk to her (except to press her about Nori, but only after biting her), or even manipulate her, she gave Doll more chances in 3 inspite of seeing Doll hurt and kill not just WDs but even N. In my opinion Uzi could have done way better and it wouldn't have been out of character considering she's quite intelligent and her entire thing with the DDs is about understanding them and 'we're all in this together'. No matter how it's spun, fact remains that Alice very evidently did have high interest in Uzi and was so conversational that Uzi could easily have tried ANY kind of negotiation other than bite

>>263529 >ywn be smokin' out on da balcony wit da boss >listenin to da rain patta on da roof and da street below >ywn lookit her starin' longinly into da distance, her smoke barely danglin' outta her tenda lips >just preciatin her beautimousness in da calm of da night as da rain falls and da sirens wail in da distance life done swindled us, boys.
>Fun Fact: V is hard-coded with the capability of speaking in both English & Dutch (likely a holdover from whatever job she did in her pre-manor life) >As a maid she only ever used it as a way to flirt, AKA getting away with saying cutesy things about N without him knowing (despite drones having automatic language translators by default...) >As a Disassembly Drone she still only ever uses it to flirt, although this has also expanded to include downright perverse talk (much to the unexpected delight of Lizzy)
>>263596 If you were the one shitting up the thread with schizo rambling then you deserved that ban, and 'Hand should perma you out of here expediently as well.
Anyways I haven't had time yet, but I'll be interested to hear Nola's voice work since I've often found that in dubs the VAs will still carry over notable accents that can make the dialogue sound kinda weird or out of time. I didn't even know Nola was multilingual until I looked her up because her english voice work is perfect as far as my ear can tell.
>>263598 As far as I know Nola is actually not involved in voicing for the dutch-dub, no other VA who has second or third languages was involved in official dubs either, these are always outsourced to voice acting groups, I remember talking with the German VA channel about this and asume other countries have if similiar. I could only watch one single episode in part last time but dutch is a rather uniquely sounding language, even depending on tone so while if usually sounds like drunk lilting it can be pleasantly sharp when excited, the best showcase of this(that I have seen yet) was Alice calling Beau over radio, Uzi does a good job as well. They even changed it up somewhat, Alice reacts with a distinct yelp when Uzi bites her, and Uzi's laugh is more eager and sounds .ore sincere than in English (Don't read the spoiler if you don't care for offsite drama) >If you were the one shitting up the thread with schizo rambling then you deserved that ban, and 'Hand should perma you out of here expediently as well. No, the single post I made about any of it was the pepe image and text about the colours of the trannyflag, which is objectively true(150023828). One of the doxxed 4chan mods is a confirmed tranny so ofc it chimps out and bans this, while allowing gooners on /co/ to swoon over brown children in dozens of threads. It's a jannypowertrip and I would make that post again. I don't see Blackhand taking side in this and banning people over wrongthink, these people have literally everyhwere else to have their echochambers.
>>263597 The idea of a dutch speaking V makes her even more appealing, it doesn't put away her issues but still. the DDs really caught an eye of mine on last rewatch, I know this stuff and V especially is quintessentialy Vickerian but I fear at least for me his next project couldn't do as much as rhe drones do, they are absolutely perfect designs already, the simplicity, the detail, the shapes of every single part down to the last minute detail, wow
>Nightly Drone Safety Fun Facts: An easy way to check if there are any drones nearby is to ask out loud "Are there any drones here?" And if they answer yes, there are drones there. If they answer no, there are also drones there but you should pretend there aren't so you don't hurt their feelings.
>>263618 The beans are spilled in the 606 post, they were swept under the spoiler where they are hopefully not going to attract any drones in potentially peoblematic stages of the larp in which they try consume humanfood
>>263606 Wait, Nola isn't in the dutch-dub? Seems like a total waste of a golden opportunity, although I suppose it makes practical sense considering the wholesale outsourcing they seem to be doing. NTA but after looking up that deleted post I can safely agree that you deserved being banned.
>>263619 >Have to pretend that the genocide machine hasn't entered my home so that I won't be brutally killed and eaten on the spot Yeah, I love living in the Union... yes... fuck...
>>263624 Nevermind, I was all wrong in my guesstimation it seems, the wiki cites Nola for dutchvee. Hearing a single line of her was a dead giveaway, looking up confirms it. If you listen to her you'll recognize her immediately. Also dutch is an incredible fit for N, his pitch and tone, even the nonverbal sounds, in a way dutch seems to be very close to his essence, if that makes sense. Cyn sounds like my evil dutch cousin, Alice is special for sure, there's better dubs but the call for Beau over radio is 17/10, "Beau! Wir haben Nori's kind zu packen!" Idk if that's accurately writen dutch but jf you'd directly translate it to German (and then to English) it would very literally say >Beau! We've got to grab Nori's kid! Which Idk if it translates well but sounds funny if you know German or Dutch. agree to disagree and such talk never changed anyones mind, but consider sometime why people wanting to represent an extreme fetish/mental disorder deliberately chose symbols of small kids for their movement. The stereotype and common allegations are very well rooted in reality, sadly.
>>263652 I hope this is a joke, I read of some iirc ponyfag who created a sort of misbehaving or inbred or homunculusian tulpa which didn't work but was unkillable. Maybe an angry V isn't that bad in comparison

>>263672 Yes, China is definitely not the first in creating something new, but in scaling, distributing and modernizing they are definitely the best: solar panels, touchscreen phones, electric cars, drones, neural networks and much more. I see it this way: in America they will invent a humanoid robot of general action, and in China they will start mass producing it.

> And a special thing about that planet was it's diverse array of life, from plants to fish to many other organisms. As time would march on, Some would live while others such as the dinosaurs went extinct.
>But among all of it's inhabitants, there was one species that stood out among the rest. Bipedal and relatively hairless, for most of their existence they were just another animal fighting tooth and nail for survival. They often came in tribes, Hunter-gatherers, they never stuck in one place and were always on the move. >Though eventually, they did stick to one place. They created huts which were sturdy enough to withstand storms. And then they invented farming, they would harvest the land for all it's worth during certain periods of the day. > Their tools were simple but effective. rakes made from sticks and wheels carved from stone. And with these achievements, Man was able to survive many more years to come. If this sounds familiar to you, a human, then yes. This is earth and the story of humanity. And at this point it's not any different than what you learn in school. >But when those villages became towns, and then cities, and then kingdoms. Scattered across the galaxy, any remaining world leader or anyone of that sort scrambled together just to figure out what to do. >Luckily, it wasn't a long decision on where humanity's new home is. As all the other planets began drying up in resources, even more would migrate and settle down. >Overall, when you look past the looming threat of overpopulation, everything was still looking upwards for the most part. >. . . . . . >At least for a good while, until certain. . . . . disagreements were made. >. . . . . >Thus Humanity was gone. My boss is a retired sentinel drone, she owns the small electronics store where I work, and today at the end of my shift she came up to me and told me I was a great employee and always do a good job. >>263850 No, i actually really like aliceanon, i just think canon Alice is meaner than how she usually portrayed in the threads. That doesn't mean thst she's a bad character, i just wish she was more like how people who love her see her
>>263961 I get what you mean I think, but from my perspective the 'threadAlice' is still mostly (except for some hornyposts ofc) very in line with canon Alice in 6. Adressing the Alice's meanness first, yes that comes somewhat short in the threads but that's actually accurate since Alice's 'mean behaviour' was roughness to Beau and enjoyment of getting back at Uzi, which were reults of unpleasant very serious escalations (plain fuck ups, but it's hard to tell who is to blame so I have to phrase it so weirdly) which beyond causing emotional damage (may sound hypocritical if you can't really stand Alice, but imo being bitten and laughed at by Uzi got to Alice way more than let on, especially considering the novelty of a live WD and just discovered relationship to Nori {who Alice believes is having a nice life on the surface}) presented a very real threat to their lives (N escaping). On top of 6's events being shitty to say the least, all of it was after a series of completely new events for Alice in 20 years of isolation, those being >Captured human >Captured live Worker Drone >Captured live DD (which is potentially not entirely new, having intact DDs tied up surely is tho. We see no DD parts lay around in Alice's rooms, neither the control room or the one N and Cyn were kept in) Which visibly excited Alice, she seems to be in very good mood when Uzi wakes up so Uzi's 'betrayal', Beau letting N escape and N now threatening them both by being loose would hit her harder since she had some amazement and hopes or at the very least curiosity about everything, which were subsequently turned into insults and dangers. Which Alice could have avoided had she not been theatralic and given her enemies opportunities by being careless, instead just straightforward, aka axing all 4 as soon as they were knocked out. (Alice not doing that is a good testament to her character imo). Anyways, I lost my thread somewhat since but do you get what I see with how the entire 'novel situation' and 'hopes into threats' aspects are very relevant in how they affect Alice's composition, (by making her vulnerable and careless, causing some anger at not just what happened but likely herself too {imagine something along the lines of 'what were you even expecting to happen Alice!?'} due to being so lax), thus making her mean behaviour towards Beau not justified but understandable?
Second, you said you rewatched recently, you MUST differentiate between Alice before her advances were torpedoed and after, this can be boiled down to the 'fingerbite' (which itself has much complexity in itself but I'll leave it and can explain without anyhow), the immediate change in tone from excited to disappointed. Look at how Alice behaves from 5:44 to 7:50~ish when she calls Beau, there is no meanness. At all. The only thing you can argue is that she uses her knifetail instead of hand to look at Uzi's choker, but she doesn't cut or even touch Uzi with the blade there, this is imo more a case of Alice being socially inept or creepy, not meanness. Even to Beau she's good here (look what she does after learning about Nori's kid being there, she turns her back to Uzi to call Beau excitedly, that call was solely to tell him, there was no need for sedatives when she called. Sadly we'll never know the full message she had for him.), this must have been common relation to Beau since he's her only company and Alice is actually a really good conversationalist and amazingly sane (or rather, coherent) for all her time alone.
Anyhow, yeah Alice is mean to Beau which can be explained but not justified, he did mess up but it was a genuine mistake. Alice is a typical vickersgirl and one of the craziest (in a good way) cast members so of course she has a genuine sadistic vein, which explains her satisfaction and entertainment when getting back at Uzi or watching the Sentinels, but in her case both of these could be interwoven with her own sense of justice which fits her Appalachian/Southern character very well (I mean finger-for-finger justice is OK, about the sentinels, Alice had no idea N was any different than a mindless DD. Uzi never mentioned anything in that regard. We as the audience are guided to see fhis as cruelty 'oh no, sadistic Alice wants to watch innicent N be murdered!!!', but in universe Alice made the correct choice in every nonmasochistic justicesystem you can think of, what she did was right and even necessary given the info she had at the time 'DD is lose-Beau you moron-close doors-kill the DD"). Yes Alice is intense and brutal (were she not, she wouldn't have lived), but no unjust.
Her meanness is there but even with a character as hers, you can see these were extraordinary circumstances causing extraordinary emotions, compare anything from after Uzi's bite and shit hitting the fan to before, this shows very different Alice behaviour. The 'threadAlice' is based on how she behaves before being biten, I don't write myself but think it fits. There are barely greentexts which have her in extreme situations or under insult/threat which would arouse that 'meanness' yiu saw, so perhaps you forgot about her brutal behaviour in the second half of her screentime due to it genuinely barely being used in threads (which is fair)
