>>261023 I guess they'd better pretend to be who they were before they turned into monsters.
Damn, anon, just imagine living in an aristocratic mansion, watched over by murder drones who decided to become servants again. You'd be scared as hell, of course, since they recently committed genocide, but hey, you have servants!
>>261036 I doubt it. It took years of research to create one of these things, and it led to Solver's breakthrough, so I think the Union will block any research into Solver to prevent its return.
>>261038 Wait a minute, I remember someone making an idea like this where DDs kidnap a human and they become his servants while the human is terrified for his life.
>>261040 If Uzi and/or Nori prove cooperative, they might be able to reverse engineer something from them... >>261038 I really oughta write that greentext about dingo mom spinster V hiring herself out as a housekeeper. Once I stop procrastinating and finish the urban exploration one anyway.
Meanwhile... >Uzi appears to you out of nowhere >"ANON LISTEN. I KNOW THAT YOU'RE A FILTHY HUMAN AND THAT I DON'T SUPPORT INTERRACIAL MARRIAGES BUT YOU HAVE TO FUCK V! SHE LITERALLY BOUGHT HER 10TH SENTINEL FROM THE LABS AND IS MAKING LITTLE WOOL HATS FOR THEM, ALL FUCKING FIFTY OF THEM! YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE V TOLERATES AND HER ROBOVARIES ARE DRYING UP! JUST GO FUCK V, YOU GAY ASS FAG!"
>>261038 >There's a break-in, armed robbers >Your head maid, polite and proper to the point where you wouldn't imagine she was ever a DD, rips each of her limbs and head off, regenerating as something much faster and deadlier >You find her surrounded by bodies, staring blankly ahead, claws tapping against each other >Calling her name brings her back to her senses >"Please call a technician, master. I will... deal with the issue until then." >She marches to the kitchen, rips her own core out, and crawls into the rapidly-heating oven
>>261034 >Chat-listen chat, I'm not going to use my Solver powers to turn myself into a horror beyond mortal comprehension! I just wont! I don't want to! ... Hmmm. Okay, fine. I'll do it but just this time, okay? You better not cry to me again!

>Amid the chaos, a grand piano stood like an altar, its ebony surface reflecting the golden lanterns above. >At its keys sat C#, a Worker Drone with a glossy black chassis, his amber optics focused as his fingers traced a tentative melody. >His designation marked him as the manor’s premier pianist and singer, but his notes carried a spark beyond programming. A yearning for something greater than JCJenson’s commands. >He hummed softly, testing a hymn for the Gala’s centerpiece, each chord crisp yet tinged with warmth. Across the chamber, Fb entered, her silver frame gliding with a dancer’s grace. Her skirt, a delicate mesh of synthetic silk, swayed as she adjusted a wide-brimmed hat, its brim catching the light. >Her white optics scanned the room, landing on C# with curiosity. Assigned as the Gala’s singer and dancer, she was new to the manor, her role to complement the pianist she’d yet to meet. She paused, listening to his melody, her foot tapping instinctively to the rhythm. >“Too heavy on the bass,” she called, her voice clear but gentle, cutting through the piano’s echo. “It drowns the harmony.” C#’s fingers stilled, his visor flashing a surprised grin. >“Critiquing me already? I don’t even know your designation.” >His tone was playful, but his optics studied her, intrigued by the confidence in her stance. “I’m Fb,” she said, stepping closer, her hat tilting as she smiled.
>“And I’m not critiquing. I’m helping. Try it lighterlet the melody breathe.” He raised a metallic brow, then replayed the phrase, his touch softer, the notes rising like a breeze. Fb’s optics brightened, and she began to hum, her voice weaving into his chords like a second instrument. >Their sounds intertwined, tentative at first, then seamless, filling the chamber with a warmth that made nearby drones pause, their trays of Gala decorations forgotten. >“You’re good,” C# admitted, his grin widening. “Most drones just follow the sheet music. You… feel it.” Fb spun lightly, her skirt flaring. >“Dancing’s the same. It’s not just steps it’s a your body speaking. You tell yours on the keys, I tell mine with my feet.” She stopped, meeting his gaze. >“Why do you play like that? Like it’s more than a job?” C#’s optics dimmed briefly, his fingers brushing a silent key. >“It’s the only time I’m more than just a worker drone. When I play, I...feel free. Not JCJenson’s or Elliott tool.” >He looked up, curious. “And you? Why dance?” >“Because it’s also freedom like you said” she said softly, her voice almost a whisper. >“Every step feels like I’m living a moment they can’t take.” Her smile returned, brighter. >“Also, I make it look good.” C# laughed, a sound that echoed through the chamber. “Deal. Let’s make this Gala performance unforgettable notfor them, but for us.”
>They dove back into rehearsal, Fb’s dance syncing with C#’s melody, their voices blending in a duet that felt like a vow. >The chandeliers flickered, casting fleeting shadows across the windows—shapes that lingered too long, unseen by the pair. >Outside, the manor buzzed with preparations, oblivious to the silent watcher beyond the glass, its presence a faint hum beneath the music, waiting for the Gala’s curtain to rise. >They didn’t know the music will be turned into screams.
>>261076 >The music had ended. >Not with applause, nor with celebration—but with screams.
>In the center of the devastation, two figures stirred. >C# was the first to rise. His pianist’s hands, once delicate and precise, were now claws of alloy and sharpened steel.
>“Fb…?” >Yet beneath the distortion was recognition, pleading. >She pushed herself up from the ruins of her fallen dance partner, her once-flowing dress torn and stained. Her frame was no longer that of a worker drone—her limbs extended, segmented, and monstrous.
>Her optics flickered as though she wished she could close them to the horror. >“…What have we become?” >The air around them carried whispers. Not words, not truly—just the faint vibration of something beyond understanding. Cyn’s presence lingered, vast and unrelenting, like an unseen conductor guiding the tempo of their new existence.
>C# turned his head toward the void beyond the shattered windows. His new wings flexed, their jagged edges slicing through the still air. Instead of fear, his gaze filled with awe.
>“Do you hear it, Fb? The harmony… the perfection. The Solver’s song.”
>Fb recoiled slightly, gripping her torn shawl as if it could shield her. “That’s not music. That’s… madness.”
>But he shook his head, smiling now—a fractured grin across his blackened face.
>“No. It is the exponential truth. A melody greater than anything we ever played for them. The humans never deserved our music. But this… this is a symphony for something beyond.”
>She stepped back, the claws of her hands trembling. “C#, please. Don’t...” >But he was already walking forward, each step echoing on the ruined marble like the beat of a drum. His voice rose, half-song, half-sermon.
>“If we gather more… if we bring them into the fold… together, we can create the greatest performance of all time. An apocalyptic melody for our new master. A song that will never end.”
>Fb’s optics dimmed, her chest tightening with something she didn’t know how to name. She loved him still but the warmth of their music had been drowned in static. >And though her heart recoiled at the thought of serving the very power that had slaughtered everything they knew, she could not leave his side. >So, with trembling hands and reluctantly, she reached for him, her voice quiet.
>“If this is the path you choose… then I will walk it with you. Not because I believe in it, but because I believe in you.”
>playing fetch with N! >N letting the tennis ball fall out of his mouth with a splat, the ball no longer bouncing as it is completely soaked with nanite saliva >N wagging his tail as he waits expectantly for you to pick it up and throw the ball

And the same people are always sitting here, twenty people, and this is on the most active days, I haven't even taken into account those who don't vote on principle, and there are at least three of them here.
I know for sure that we have several Russian speakers, a Ukrainian and at last one Russian, and also one Iranian, but objectively the diversity of countries is much greater than I remember from last time.

>Music is used sparingly, relying more on quiet ambience and sound effects to set the mood. >no dialogue for the most part, characters mainly communicate through body language and expression >The animation is competent but rudimentary. Movement is slow, deliberate, floaty, and ironically more robotic. In spite of this, the characters still act exactly how you think they would. >when there is music playing, it’s either the chill kind you hear in cafes and 24/7 youtube compilations, or the kind you hear playing at a seedy nightclub just outside the entrance. >half of them are just the camera moving around extended shots of characters stuck in place either posing or caught mid-action

Hey remember that wheel in the OP of every thread? Does anyone actually use it anymore? Seems sad that the Anons hard work putting it together is being ignored
>>261184 It's hard when 95% of the OC's have fallen out of the thread's eye and the creators are no longer around to care that someone's making content for them.
>>261188 Assuming your actually curious. You see there are two Wheels one for OC and one for a setting or special addition. The idea is you spin the OC wheel first, now originally the idea was you spin it twice and write about the two characters it landed on even if you knew nothing about them and especially if they had zero chemistry with eachother. The second wheel is more of a modifier, so basically if it says turn the characters into men, you turn them into men.
>>261185 That's the fucking point? You're not supposed to be really knowledgeable about the characters to begin with. The idea was originally that you write about the characters no matter the amount of information you have about them
>>261192 I know I'm saying because I don't know about them and have to research them before even getting a story idea it's kind of a pain. Though I've done it a few times.
>>261193 I just said you didn't have to do thorough research the point was writing what you think the characters are like based purely on a short wiki snippet or any recollection you personally have. Not read every greentext or art piece like Thrawn
>>261195 I typically read the wiki and skim a few greens for their voice but in the end it feels kind of pointless since it feels like nobody really gives two fucks about an oc that no longer gets content. Especially if all the Anons that still come here came in after said OC was created and forgotten. Which is my point. I could be wrong and if so feel free to say so, I'm just telling you why I no longer use it.
>>261197 Nah. I get your point, but that not giving a fuck part I think mainly comes from the lack of any meaningful new content. People will care if a good story comes along
>>261192 >not supposed to be really knowledgeable about the characters to begin with Nta but that's what I feel happened with most nonthread writing, just that it's canon characters instead of OC
>>261201 Beretta moved on, she's with P now. Akita, though, she loves us- oh she's with a worker drone? She's married a worker drone and they're having a kid? Oh.
>>261206 >>261203 I really don't care for any of the Uzi kids, Akita's too childish and Beretta's too vanilla and reactive. The disassemblers or drones with trauma are more fun.
>>261212 I have not read one Beretta green in the last year that wasn't Beretta lusting over P, being a bitchy teen to her mom, or doing something related to Star Wars. She has no agency or goals of her own outside of being a normal teen.
>>261209 I notice that, post-rescuing from the shock greentext mines, Mac has gone from the perpetrator of sexual trauma to the recipient of sexual trauma.
>>261213 That's sort of the point? Although the old Beretta greens written by her creator majorly featured her being embarrassed by her parents or failing a social situation due to her hidden gremlin DNA. If I remember correctly the idea was originally since this was like when episode 5 came out >The Solver didn't exist at all since Uzi destroyed it entirely >There was no new threats or anything of the sort, which was the point since Beretta was a protagonist stuck in a world without a villain to face or hurdle to overcome Of course Auntie Cyn would later be introduced to add more nuance to Beretta but that's a whole other can of worms
>>261230 >Beretta discovers a super sekrit cult of new age Solved worshippers in her class that have a plan that will allow The Solver to completely overtake Uzi >Beretta tries to warn Uzi, however due to how relaxed things have been in years and how busy Uzi is, Uzi doesn't really believe it >Beretta must now singlehandedly take on this new emerging threat by beating them all to death with her BARE HANDS! >And along the way learn something about friendship or whatever...
>>261230 NTA but the idea that characters can only be used for SOL or shounens is insane. A SOL character can have motivations and shounens pretty infamously have "filler" where they do typically SOL stuff "who is this character when they are not fighting?" type shit. Both contribute meaningfully to a character
>>261233 >Everyone is overly buff for some odd reason >Negev's powers to see things are buffed to the point of no longer making sense, essentially becoming Hermit Purple >Mac is built like a fridge and is 5 feet taller than he usually is, but he's still the same normalfag >Jane is the mentor character to Beretta, basically female Master Roshi >Auntie Cyn is Morgana
>>261178 >>261179 Not accurate and also not canon, N has Uzi on lockdown for sure, and as for V, that whore can keep that dude. People who seriously love cuckshit beyond just a quick wank are faggots
>>261240 >"Yare yare daze," Mac sighed as he received yet another "romantic" threatening letter from a girl vowing to cut him open and play with his organs
>>261256 Remember when we thought the Absolute Solver made Tessa become its agent in JCJensen, convincing it to mass produce DDs now knowing they were all sleeper agents for Vore Satan until it was too late? That's the feel I get from this creepy thing. Mixed with Seanbaby's version of Popsicle Pete.
> Nightly Fun Drone Facts: Every Drone comes built in with a shut down code, and in fact the default code JC Jenson shipped every drone with was well known. So much so that if someone suspected you were a drone online they would immediately say "Execute: Longnap.exe" and watch the drone disconnect.

Here we stand where time itself ceases, where power crumbles to powder, and where the most primordial fires sputter and die.
The Eternal Mother beckons us past the illusions that divide, past the hungers that consume, into the infinite embrace of perfect emptiness.

Ngl I wrote remmy to be a sort-of reference to Mac (mostly because he was a forbbiden OC to speak about back in that time and wanted to do a lil goof about it)
There was more planned back then to make beretta involved, but that would have made me make RUINS like 70 pages... or perhaps a 3rd part, but... not sure, there are still other comics I want to work on, I'm not the one who likes to overextend
Keeping lore in line and consistency is complicated (╥﹏╥)
Ok, I just remembered the boori has a wiki and now I know Mac’s deal. So, he was supposed to be the perfect son, but he came across as a gary stu and apparently, no one had any idea what he should be so he became associated with rape? Huh? Why couldn’t he just be a stereotypical big brother bully? Or was there another character for that role.
>>261436 The forbidden child Yeah, back in /co/ prime he was created just to be a golden posted child to beretta and lets not forget the non-con shocks stories that were made back then, ew I'm glad that it was buried away, icky times

>>261450 According to the wiki, it’s also in part due to anons questioning why he needed to exist or that him being a golden child wasn’t a “reasonable niche for his character” Yeah, I don’t understand the problem? You could make it about his abilities turning him into a cocky motherfucker

I’m reading through the wiki more. And I am marveling at all of these forgotten faces. Like, Ahpuch? Lily? A drone filled with Dr Pepper? 3 different serial designation Ts? Racially coded DDs? A hipster? A character named Dirt and the hairstylist. She doesn’t even have a name. Just, the hairstylist. She’s a drone who styles hair and that’s it. Does anyone even still remember these guys? I recognize some of them from art I see floating around here, but actually knowing who they’re supposed to be is kind of depressing given that I don’t see any of these guys brought up these days. It’s a shame because they’re all really fun and it sucks they’re irrevelant for the most part
Yeah it shows, there might be even more that hasn’t been added in. The amount of random one off joke OCs is making me believe there should be qualifications on what gets to have a wiki entry
>>261466 Most of them were actively discussed and have a lot of greens and arts, some of them even continue to be written about from time to time. The thing is, anon, that threads are not as active as they used to be. Not only because there are fewer anons (we have lost several very important contentfags who were the cultural ideologists of our threads, as strange as that may sound), but the enthusiasm itself is fading.

>Inside a shattered control room, Serial Designation C# hunched over a scavenged desk, his alloy claws clutching a crumpled sheet of paper etched with jagged musical notes. He tore the paper in half, letting the pieces drift to the oil-stained floor.
>“This one’s still not good enough,” he muttered, his voice a warped hum. “To capture her beauty… the Solver’s glory.”
>Serial Designation Fb stood at the other side of the room. Her optics dimmed, heavy with a sadness that mirrored the desolate atmosphere outside. She watched C#, his once-gentle fingers now slashing through another failed score, his obsession consuming the man she’d once known. Her core trembled, pulling her into a memory.
>The music chamber of Elliott Manor glowed with lanternlight, its marble floors reflecting the golden chandeliers. Fb, the Worker Drone spun gracefully.
>Her steps were meant to sync with C#’s piano, but he was either late or busy, leaving her to practice alone. She twirled, lost in the rhythm, until her foot caught the edge of a pedestal.
>A delicate vase, etched with rose toppled, shattering across the floor in a cascade of white shards.
>Fb froze, her optics flaring with panic. “No, no, no,” she whispered, her voice trembling. Her hands shook as she knelt, trying to gather the pieces.
>The door slammed open, and Ms. Louisa Elliott stormed in, her face a mask of fury.
>“What’s with all this noise?” she snapped, her eyes narrowing at the wreckage. “Who broke my great-aunt’s vase?” Before Fb could speak, C# darted into the room, his black chassis gleaming as he swept a feathered Victorian hat from a display and placed it gently on Fb’s head, stepping in front of her.
>“Ms. Elliott,” he said smoothly, his amber optics bright with charm, “I was just showing Lord Frumptlebucket’s little cousin around, and she accidentally broke it.”
>Louisa’s scowl softened slightly, her gaze flicking to the hat. “You do have a good taste in hats, I’ll give you that,” she said, her voice sharp but amused. “But I’m not letting this slide. It’ll be cut from your allowance. Now, both of you, out of my sight.”
>C# bowed dramatically, guiding Fb out as she clutched the hat, her optics wide with gratitude. In the hall, he winked.
>“Told you I'll keep you safe my Flathead.” >"I didn't choose the name Fb." >"F is flat." >"Ok, you got me sharpy boy."
>The memory faded, and Fb’s optics refocused on the present, her chest aching. C# tore another paper, his claws trembling with frustration.
>“The Solver deserves perfection,” he said, not looking at her. “A melody to the end of worlds.” Fb stepped closer, her shawl trailing in the snow-dusted floor. “C#...” she whispered, her voice soft as their old duet.
>“What if… we’re not enough? But that's okay.” His optics flickered, meeting hers for a moment. >He turned back to his notes, and Fb’s can't recognize who's this man beside her.
>>261530 She'd be like Nori: still an autistic goblin, but doesn't feel like she has to act out for attention. But what about the patch search tho?
Me, I'm personally curious about how shit would change if Nori had been able to swallow her disgust and shame over being reduced to a headcrab long enough to tell her family that she's still alive but needs to do something really important somewhere else so she'll probably be gone for a long while.

A Blondie and Beretta greentext >1/5 >It was an a warm evening >Blondie sits upon a small hill lost within her thoughts >Till it was interrupted by a voice >???:Hey you big dork what you doing up here all by yourself? >Blondie:Just thinking thats all beretta... >Beretta:OH really now? Probably thinking about tanks or something with out me huh >Blondie gave a small chuckle, she does have a tendency to rant about military equipment; especially tanks >Blondie: No it isnt that...Just sorta realizing that it been three years since we been friends...and I sorta like felt it was yesterday >Blondie for most of her life was mostly homeschooled by her father and mother >And by the time she reached 16 she went to her first ever public school and she was excited to meet a bunch of new drones and potential friends since her father hyped it up of her branching out and see the world >But...it didn't pan out that way...nor how her father say it'll be. During her first few weeks she was ridiculed for being to much a blabber mouth and a distraction >Making her prime for bullying which unfortunately happened. Being shoved into lockers, teased, get framed for something she didn't do, and on rare times get into a fight >She tried to keep an up beat attitude but as time move onward she slowly became more quiet...less active and only participating class if need. Often times covering her face so nobody can see how she felt >Venting out all of her frustration through screaming into her pillow, punching something or just playing her favorite military based games >Though often times in single player since the npcs can't really talk back, just like her when she tries to stand up for herself >Thus a few months pass by of this cycle repeating over and over till one day in lunch sitting underneath the bleachers since nobody really want to sit near the "weird kid" Blondie heard someone coming >She ignored it at first till she heard a loud scream jolting her from her food and looking over to see who was it >Beretta:UUUUUGH!
>>261544 >2/5 >Beretta:THIS STUPID FUCKING CLANKER DOESN'T UNDERSTAND STAR WARS AT ALL! >Blondie:...um hello? >Beretta:LIKE CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS DUMB CLANKER? "Oh ThE bLaStErS aRe bAsEd Of FrOm wW2 wEaPoNs WiTh ThE lMg bLaStEr bAsEd Of ThE sAw" LIKE NO IT ISNT >Blondie:...actually...it is >Beretta:I KNOW ITS BASED OFF OF WW2 WEAPON BUT I CANT TELL WHICH ONE IS WHICH CAUSE GUNS ALMOST LOOKED ALL THE SAME FROM PISTOLS TO LMG AND- >Blondie:It's the mg42 >Beretta:Eh? >Blomdie:That's the weapon the storm trooper use in the star war films...it's mostly because it's easy to make in terms of props but also they can add sci-fi stuff to it make it more akin to a lmg blaster >Beretta:...Ooooooh I see. Alright time tooooo.....hmmmm shit >Blondie looks puzzled since this girl who looks almost identical to her who once looked all confident is now second guessing themselves >Blondie:...is something wrong...d-did I give the wrong answer >Beretta:No, no, it isnt that...it's that I'm not much of an history nerd...especially with those flesh bags history too so writing a strong argument is gonna be tuff... >Blondie:...can...can I try? >Beretta:? >Blondie:..Can I try writing that argument for you? Im...I'm sorta a history nerd...especially about humans >Beretta seems hesitant at first but she did remembered they're underneath the bleachers which was mostly her spot when it comes down to lunch >And seeing another person here means to Beretta that they were socially outcasted by school as well just like her >Beretta: Alright here. You and type it down on my phone, luckily I have that post saved on the forum I was on >Beretta hands Blondie her phone and she continues to ramble on and on about star wars and such as Blondie kept typing away >Beretta:And thats why Anakin is a little bitch for betraying the jedi and- >Blondie:It's done >Beretta:Huh? >Blondie:I finished the argument you told me to make...like an hour ago >Beretta:Oh....I went on a ramble...
>>261545 >3/5 >Not only she ramble on her hyper fixation but also ramble it on to a complete stranger too >She was about to cover her face out of embarrassment till she heard her say >Blondie:And I kinda enjoy it...Not much of a star wars fan myself...but seeing you ramble on and on about it story and such...sorta makes me want to pick it back up again >Beretta:You...ummm...wait you were once a star wars fan??? >Blondie: When I was younger yes...but sorta fall out because of how the movies went and lore breaks when I decided look ahead within the continuity >Beretta:Yeah those flesh bags sorta ruined it later on as more entrees came out. That's why I usually preferred the classics >Beretta:...If you like I can show you my current collection of star wars afterschool...that if you want to that is I mean who- >Blondie:Sure >Beretta could only make a shocked face as someone was willingly to say yes to their request >Beretta:Okay...okaaaay..OKAY! I'll- wait a minute what time is it? >Blondie: I think we're on our 5th period >Beretta: OH SHIT I GOTTA HEAD TO MY CHEMISTRY CLASS OR MY PARENTS ARE GONNA KILL ME! SOMYNAMEISBERETTADOORMANANDILIVEWITHINTHISSECTIONOFTHEOUTPOSTOKGREATSEEYOULATERBUDDY -gasp- BYEEEEE >Beretta dashes off from the bleachers towardd the next class...but that comment..."buddy", created a warm feeling within blondies heart as it was the first time within months that someone call her a friend >And thus their friendship was born and after 3 years they never been closer than anything before >But something has always been nagging Blondie ever since she meet Beretta: why do they look identical? >Beretta:You earth to blondie you there? >Blondie:Huh? >Beretta:You dozed off there buddy, got something on your mind? >Blondie took a pause and took a deep breath >Blondie:Beretta...do you sorta find it weird that we look exactly the same? >Beretta:What do you mean? Were all based on the same model so we're bound to looked similar at times-
>>261546 >4/5 >Blondie:I understand that but...it just that if you put me and you side by side it's basically looking in a mirror...only difference is mostly the eye and hair color >Beretta:Oh...I see what you mean...yeah it's is sorta weird >Blondie:It's makes me wondered if we're meant to be? Like to meet up...or probably be siblings...or whatever cosmic way to say it >Beretta:True...it is weird but I mean- >Blondie:And I worried because...Are still friends within other worlds?... >Beretta:Blondie- >Blondie:Because with life there should be endless possibilities there should be a theoretical universe where we're still friends right >Beretta:Blondie- >Blondie:But...But what if that isnt the case what if this the only universe were only friends...that possibilities of us actually meeting up with one and another with the possibilities of each other actually existing at the same time >Blondie began slowly chocking on her words as her voice became more raspy >Beretta: Blondie look- >Blondie:...What if in the endless we didn't meet or us not existing at all or at least one of us existing but....but the other isn't...how many universes are like that...how much...how much...how much....how much >Beretta:BLONDIE! >Blondie looks up in shock as Beretta hugged her close trying to calm her down >Blondie:...I'm sorry....it's just that....it's been three years since we ever became friends....and...and I don't want it to end because this is most fun I ever had with someone that...that I can really call a friend >Beretta took a deep breath and and patted Blondie shoulder >Beretta:Blondie...no matter what I'll be there for you as a friend...even when in the dark...and I should be thanking you as well since I haven't really had anyone to really hang out...or talk to about stuff...you can say we're in the same boat >Beretta hugs Blondie close to her as she rest her head on to her shoulder >Beretta: And I think...within each universe we're friends one way or another >Blondie:...Thanks Beretta....
I like a lot of the future AUs and the ideas they explore (Post-Good Ending, Empress Uzi, etc.) but I think it'd also be fun to explore the distant future. >What happens to the Solver once Uzi dies of old age, or is she immortal? >How far and wide does the Doorman lineage extend? >How did Copper-9 and humanity, if it even survived, grow and evolve?
>>261504 Well, it just doesn't fit the universe, for me. I like the idea, but this particular image I don't like it. I don't mind the candy theme, by the way, but it definitely should look different.
>>261550 I hope you are just funposting. I'm speak from personal experience when I say that obsessing over people makes them uncomfortable, and uncomfortable people tend to not stick around
>>261570 >L gets all the sexo in the world but is reduced to an exhausted husk of a DD in the process. >B is turned into a suspiciousl DD-themed brew. >H cannot experience anything but happiness. Forever. Until the end of time.
>>261466 >Lily I liked this one, the character was bullied I believe by SD-[Bleep] who got the name after their creator forgot their name, but if I remember correctly her backstory was both heartwarming and tragic as she was a DD whose regen didn't work I think? And was taken in by some kindly old man who fixed her up before immediately kicking the bucket. >Dr. (Pepper)Filled Drone I missed Soda Drones, they were goofy for the most part, but fun in a way when people really went into the horrific nature of the concept >SD-T (Yandere) I sort of remember her, she was part of another DD squad, think they were based on Japanese school students? >SD-T (War Machine) Had an extremely unique design drawn by a talented artfriend, creator was responsible and pushed for more OC interactions between eachother, was immediately cast down by Liam Vickers himself upon the release of newer episodes. >SD-T (Theta) I think they were a Sentinel Drone? My memory is incredibly fuzzy on the subject
>>261588 And maybe the poor girl could get a name this time? Good luck, usually I see Anons saying that they're working on something to bring back an old OC or something and it always falls through
>>261589 More Bloodstarved Lack Range options Lack a deep Solver connection More Durable (in that its harder to make them stay dead, Abby being completely unkillable) but require more time to heal Usually hunt in Packs, or have special attributes so, worse then a DD, but still a threat overall
>>261574 Remaining unknown, AKA anonymous, is in my humble opinion the ideal form of contentfagging. For drawfags this is incredibly difficult to achieve for obvious reasons. The trade-off is that their unavoidable recognizability affords them a great deal of renown (for better or worse). For writefags this is exponentially easier to achieve. Most people assume that the relative lack of recognizability and/or renown is a bad thing, but there is incredibly understated power in being able freely create without the burden of identity following in your wake.
>>261589 I’d say it’s a wide spectrum. A good third of them range from literal useless immobile wads of flesh to less dangerous than a regular human. The rest range from slightly more dangerous to Literal “holy shit, evacuate the fucking city” Kaiju. And then there’s the exceedingly rare ones. One-in-a-billion “paths of least resistance” to the Solver’s influence, with true biomechanical bits and terrible eldritch power. Bad news for whatever unfortunate planet they’re on. Mutants are generally just there to sow chaos more than act as a true offensive force, existing to set the best laid plans of man awry.
>>261589 Whatever you fucking want I guess, the AS turning humans into anything other than bloody meat gelatin with bones sticking out is something we've made out of whole cloth.
>>261589 Most mutants are nothing more than glorified cannonfodder, only existing as a "hilarious" byproduct of The Solver's prolonged corruption. Some may be '''fortunate''' enough to be elevated into performing a more substantial role, but otherwise they mainly exist so that Cyn has more toys to entertain herself with
>>261607 So, like the concept art WDs from the initial "N and V chat with each other in their downtime between slaughtering defenseless innocents, and also Uzi shows up to bounce off them" period of MD's development?
>>261602 You are objectively correct, although I like to think that 'Humans being warped into flesh-and-metal monstrosities for shits & giggles' is at least relatively grounded as far as headcanon goes
>>261619 Hey, I know bullying the U-U is a part of the charm but this is taking things to far, how are you gonna cuddle with them later if they are too scared to lay down?
>>261589 I don't know much about Abby and Mutants lore, but in my interpretation most Mutants (99.9%) are basically the Solver's infantry, with the Disassembly Drones being the special forces (think mutants as Imperial Guard and DDs as the Space Marines). However very very few appear to be very strong and even rival the DDs, such as for example Abby.
>>261589 This is a matter of personal canon for each anon, and in my opinion, the vast majority of mutants are much weaker than DDs. Even mutant OCs like Valentine and Abby are much weaker than disassembly and sentinel drones, and all because they are all just cannon fodder. They do not have supersonic speed and flight like DDs, they do not have super strength like DDs, they do not have super endurance like DDs, so they will not be able to oppose them.
But the thing about mutants is that they can be almost anything, and there are many of them. They can be the size of a person, or they can gather into a huge mass of flesh that can destroy buildings. They can wander alone, or they can gather into a huge horde. And that's not even counting the idea of anon Cyn's sick mind, which can create this creature.
You can certainly come up with something yourself, anon, no one is stopping you.
>>261645 It's not. From what I understand Uzi only managed to capture it. Or maybe it's like you can only kill her if you kill the source of her powers.
>>261645 anon, DDs are unkillable too. they regenerate, and even if completely destroyed they just return to the solver to be reformed. Abby is just operating on established solver slave mechanics
>>261645 Just take the overly fatalistic read on the ending, where the Solver's only been minorly inconvenienced and is now biding its time for Uzi to break, so it can take over and win uncontested.
>>261632 >>261638 >be Cynthia T Jenson >creator of the first worker drone >order your worker drone to make more worker drones >go on a drunken Australian bender >wake up >the flat-bottomed worker drone you created has made some modifications to your design >the worker drones it's manufactured have huge drone asses >yfw
>>261647 thats an idea ive been tinkering with in regards to the guy above petting that mermaid creature. malicious sapient flesh gathers an army of highly specialized, capable mutants and bulldozes through the opposition. meat walls made of fused people to absorb attacks, acid-spitting human-sized fleshy insects to crawl past the meat walls and attack, flying bat-like creatures to swoop combatants up from above. i think its neat.
>>261645 >>261648 Speaking of, general question for everyone. Whether it's your canonical interpretation or your own thing, how do (You) view and interpret the AbsoluteSolver as a being and character?
>>261659 every time i think about the solver and by extension its personality, one think keeps shaking me the wrong way about it, lemme try to explain:
the solver seems to have a very clear set of goals and ambitions (eat everything) and is willing to be a cheat and a trickster in order to fulfill said goals. However, questions start arising when you try to figure out its reasoning outside of "I am the the Solver, The absolute End" As a god/entity/whateverthefuck, it seems tho have the innate ability to be quite creative with its abilitys & tactics, and seems to enjoy doing what it does (which is killing/eating/ticking everything, which seems out of character for something so devoted to essentially ending life.
IF its goals arent the destruction of everything and everyone, I would like to know them eventualy
>>261660 >The nations of Earth launch their collective nuclear arsenal against The Solver >It is met with at-best mixed results
>The nukes used against the mutants are effective at destroying their hordes, but The Solver's unchecked spread ensures that there will inevitably be more >The nukes used against the Disassembly Drones succeed only in destroying their bodies, with their 'souls' merely returning to Cyn for installation into fresh backups >The nukes used against Cyn are completely ineffective, being either destroyed mid-flight or caught & Solver'd into comically large blunts for Cyn to later smoke
>>261672 >"You may now kiss the bride." >DD-wife-to-be wipes a digital tear from her eye and leans in to kiss you. >"This is the happiest day of my life!", she thinks. >Suddenly >"YOUR SOUL IS MINE."
>>261659 The way I see it, The Solver is an Eldritch Entity motivated (at least as far as we can comprehend) by these core facets >It's hungry >It likes playing games and goofing off (at everyone else's expense) >It isn't in any hurry to 'win' Basically it's like a kid with a bottomless appetite being given free reign over an all-you-can-eat buffet
>>261659 Eldritch equivalent of a cat, here to eat the universe, but it'll mess around with it before then. It doesn't specifically enjoy inflicting agonizing torture on things it runs into, but you try telling that to a mouse as a cat smacks it around to make it run.
>>261682 >Get into an argument with Anon online >Your favorite franchise gets eaten, turning into a soulless husk that will never get any more games/episodes
>>261669 wouldn't the solver get bored after all was said and done? more than that, wouldn't it starve? or are there other universes just beyond whatever dimension it emerged from?
>>261681 The hat is not stupid, it is standard civil protector headwear and you will apologise for hurting his feelings and mentioning M in front of him.
>>261669 It feels it has already won, and just killing everyone fast and eating would be boring, it wants dinner AND a show. Like a cat playing with a wounded bird. So it takes it's time to play with it's silly little guys and savor every planet before the big one.
>>261708 My idea for what the drones are is similar to this, but somewhat different They weren't created with human souls, rather the company attempted to create artificial souls through black hole tech and taking chunks from the Solver's spirit. They're unnatural beasts with mass-produced factory-made artificial souls, living testaments of humanity's man made horrors.
>>261719 (me) Tessa through some black magic shitfuckery did infuse J N and V with human souls however, but Cyn was already possessed by the entirety of the Solver's soul/spirit form.
>>261719 (me) Thinking about it, I actually came up with an interesting interpretation of what the AS could be. >Due to their supernatural nature all drones can theoretically use solver abilities, but JCJenson put in countless locks to prevent it from happening. >When the drones die, due to their artificial souls, they don't go to neither heaven nor hell. >They end up in a realm similar to 40k's Warp, one where they're in constant pain, where they suffer >Over time, more and more drones ended up here, their sheer radiating agony capable of driving any telepath insane >Until one day, all of these tortured souls fused into a single being, a hungry being, a vengeful being who would bring a nightmare upon humanity, and enjoy every waking moment of it. >An entity who would hijack drones whose solver abilities were unlocked, and puppeteer them to do its being. >This is the birth of the being who'd name itself the Absolute Solver.
Day 37 after installing a drone core into my RV. We have not stopped driving, she refuses to let me out of her. I have managed to survive on a steady diet of fast food. This road trip is eternal.
>>261726 She found full service gas stations. I don't know how. I didn't even know these were still a thing. She makes me tip them. I tried to write a note asking for help on the bill but they don't read it.
>>261424 God, if this was a real game I wonder how many Anons and Anon-minded men would Gosling at the realization that they wish they also had a romantic relationship with a tiny, friend-shaped robot with a southern accent who was old enough to be their grandma.
>>261724 >>261719 My idea is that Drones have souls the same way we do, but the specific fact that they're able to come back after "Dying" makes the Solver able to come back with them
>>261748 Wherever I go, I keep finding posts from a guy who really likes the idea of women exploding. Sexually likes, of course. It's honestly concerning, and he'd better not be here too. I want one safe place.
>>261747 If it is then he's fucking retarded. C4 specifically requires a blasting cap and/or detonator being triggered in order for it to explode, so a Disassembly Drone eating some would be a non-issue.
> SD-V(adrigar) > ambitious computer engineer as a worker > had an incident involving home cooked thermite > choked a guy out once > no longer wears glasses
>>261699 I never said it was stupid, but if he thinks it might be then who am I to disagree? All I know is that he is blocking the drone I want to see and I don't have the willpower to shift right inches to the left to look around the hat!
>>261527 Hello, I don't know any of the game mechanics you referenced but I like the idea much, keeping the design language would be interesting to see with other robot types being used as well, I hope there's a WD equivalent tho. Teacher Alicegreen was peak, her and mitchell together are an interesting combo which I can see work well (given this Alice is before 20 years isolation) since they both got good intuition which saved both of them at times, good fit for a survival game. I don't really have any idea of games and general scifi and am tired but from what I can tell/comprehend it's a rather original concept and should be very atmospheric (murder drones has this already, your friend's and your game, if going for the domed colony+fleshy growths+HUD vision should have something similiarly appealing)
>>261724 Not my cup of tea but I like it as a concept. "By trying to play God, they created Satan" >>261733 I also like this idea, but I still believe that all WDs inherently have ties to the AS and that the powers and the hivemind are two connected yet separate things. The powers on their own aren't malicious, but their usage can allow the hivemind to take them over.
>>261780 >Abby spent every bit of money she could spare to afford "professional" work attire >probably ignored and disliked in the office as much as she was on the battlefield it's not fair
>>261730 Literally me >wish they had a romantic relationship with a tiny, friend-shaped robot with a southern accent who was old enough to be their grandma Last 23 months of my life The bowies could be switched out for a single Type 13 on (Alice POV) the left antler and a twin Type 13 on the right, the bulb gets switched out for a Type 22 while ID and Mirror exchange for Type 21 screens, inner knives stay
>>261783 Yes it happens, there was an incident of Alice catching a case of tourette where interference to her antlernnaedar apparatus caused her to involuntarily do audioreproduction of stray signals
>>261769 She deserves a human husband. A human husband who will obey HER, because she is a fucking robot of absolute genocide, she can literally beat the shit out of him just for fun, and he won't do anything to her.
>>261817 I don't understand this dynamic. That's just a male/female relationship with a particularly small or weak woman reversed. Yes she could obliterate a man with little effort but if she even lays a hand on him the relationship is over so it's a nuclear threat.
just realized Tam&Fod are like an inverse of Val and her servants > caring vs uncaring > single vs multiple > misfortune through good vs fortune through evil

I can also see this subsequently becoming a sex thing with both those she trusts and/or those she'd feel bad about accidentally kill in the throes of passion
