That and ‘Steaks personality but that’s where it gets parasocial.

>>260140 >>Anons life is spent growing up with a schizo deer woman, a mute homunculus, and sentinel drones that probably want to have sex with him FTFY
I like sentinel drones just fine, but I wish they weren’t just “Dissasembly drones but they’re bluer then normal.” I feel like there should be more variation in terms of robots. BFGanon’s big guys, boxxo and laborbots are the only Non-Drone OCs here aside from the mutant and humans. I’m surprised there Hasn’t been an OC in the form of an AI like Glados, you think there would have been one. Unless there’s one in some forgotten greentext i Don’t know of.
>>260155 Because I grew up with media like megaman and Wall-E which both have these fun and creative robot designs. One thing I liked about the movie “The electric state” was that all the robots were unique and you could tell what their purposes was just by looking at them. In MD, there are only worker drones, dissasembly drones, and sentinels. Which is both a cost cutting measure and liam’s personal choice. Don’t get me wrong, I like them all just fine and other companies have no importance to the narrative. But if i was in charge? I’d make sure that the primary characters all look distinct from one another.
>>260157 NTA, but for myself personally I would keep the unification, and at most just make the possibility of modifications, but without changing the basis.
For worker drones i’d keep them the same aside from the obvious clothes, wigs, and accessories. But I would add in certain characters that AREN’T a type of drone. For example, I would make it so that the teacher is connected to his desk and his head is a stamper that he slams down to stamp tests.
>>260163 I know someone who is really into it, the only thing I care about is Hakari, cuz he is literally "Funny gambler guy who dances" That's about it tho
>>260148 There have been a decent number of robot variants posted both here and on /co/ over the years. Most were either one-offs or simply didn't catch on
>>260166 I feel like any non-WD robots that aren't made by Vore Satan would need to be either specialized enough to justify existing instead of having a worker do it (e.g. sentinels, the clever dingos) or another company's equivalent to WDs (the core concept of labor bots is a good case of "another company taking a different approach to 'universally adaptable expendable slavebots' than JCJensen did", I think).
>>260166 Drones LARPing and shaping their society after what humans did is a core part of Murder Drones. Making the teacher a literal teacher-bot goes against this concept
>>260180 >Do you know any examples? Yes. You can find them on the booru or some of the older side threads if you are actually interested. >I think they can be revisited. this is what happened to Akita, right? That is not what happened to Akita.
>>260191 (me) >>260185 Oh, and snoot. The snoot is also a big part of why the friend-shaped tiny robots are hotter than they have any right being. Speaking of snoots, have we ever gotten a good look at Khan snoot?
There's this WD girl at work that keeps trying to impress me with stunts and parkour Problem is she has no talent for the stuff at all Hell the only warning I get before she does something stupid is her saying "Check this shit out" and promptly falling flat on her face I spent all day yesterday with her at the repair center because her latest stunt broke three of her limbs and her visor Should I just start dating her so she stops trying to get herself killed impressing me?
>>260188 you could make the concept about them serving themselves instead of humans for once, this could translate to them using their specialized abilities for other uses. In the case of the teacher, he was originally meant to approve paperwork and documents.
>>260187 there must be a certain company with taller and more efficient alternatives to worker drones, only bogged down by costlier prices or being significantly less cute. >>260205 once you get past their short height, worker drones will fit nicely into whatever task you give them. They have no other abilities besides being strong and they all have the same basic humanoid form. If they all varied in size and form, that would be more interesting IMO.
>>260163 Friend of mine likes it because putting battle shonen shit in a regular modern day city shows how fucking horrifying it all is, e.g. everyone in the cafe spontaneously combusting.

This project was not meant to start till I finished the AVRE sexo Green, but last 3 weeks have been hell for my motivation so I might as well get started with this if it what my mind is wanting to think about:
Project Elysium: [LOG 00]
Introduction: What is Project Elysium? Project Elysium is My (salonanon) Attempt at a proper MD world building project, with the setting being the world of Elsyium-3; A planet that barely survived the Solver war and is now prospering in the 25 years sense.
This project takes inspiration from several places, not just MD: Notable many of the artists and writers of /MD/ with such things as HoDR being a big part of this idea.
Setting: What is Project Elysium Meant to Accomplish? Elysium-3 is meant to be a world that manages to make Man, Drone, and any other sentient machine considered equals, and the consequences of such a feat. It also going to deliver more history of the creation and use of Reclaimer Drones, as this planet owes much of its continued existence thanks to them and their creator. Theirs also the whole "Non-solver related Machine god pulling the string in the background to make sure the would dosent instantly devolve into turbo robot racism, but that's not terrible important right now This project also gives me an excuse to start trying to do full renders & backgrounds, something ive been wanting to try for a long time now.
This will also mean more AVRE content, as she will be a frequent example whenever i talk about Reclaimer drones and their history/ability's/roles, so look out for that.
Next log [01] will discus a Brief Summer of Elysium-3 History as a Colonized planet, from first contact to Present day [Which is roughly 310X give or take]
I'm a technician that's assigned to a squad of murder drones We got sent to a planet undergoing a worker drone rebellion The pay's good and all but all three of the murder drones are all male and a bunch of faggots that won't accept that I'm straight Anyone willing to swap teams with me?

>>260352 Doesn't she have dainty little ballerina feet? Not a footfag, but they complement her nicely. At the same time, they're probably not the most well-balanced and might be the reason she trips so often. She might be happier with a pair of standard-issue drone stompers.
Been workshopping a character idea and absolutely slogged through drawing her over the past few days. Say hello to Rhapsody, or... Rhea works, too.
>RHAPSODY She was just a young girl, before it all went south. One of the few drones afforded the luxury of being treated like a person. She and her human sister, Bella, lived in blissful ignorance of the encroaching end times that'd befall upon them all. When all life was scoured from Copper-9 from the core collapse, it was a nightmare for her, one that she could not bear. A few of the seeds within the family's greenhouse had miraculously survived, perhaps being the only organic matter left on the surface. In a mock suicide, she swallowed the ones with trace cyanide within them and powered herself down. It would've been for good, if not for what followed years on.
>RHEA Following the defeat of the Solver, something taking advantage of the newly-formed power vacuum managed to sneak its way into our reality and find its place within the body of Rhapsody, rousing her from her deep self-imposed sleep. It took little time for her - in the throes of self-delusion - to believe this entity to be a guardian angel sent from high above, having come to set things right again. Perhaps even reincarnating her family should she satisfy it. Donning a new name in honor of her own rebirth, she sets out on a warpath of restoring life to the barren planet by any means necessary.
>THE LIFEVINE An entity, or perhaps just a force? Wherever it goes, plant-life spontaneously grows and flourishes, even in the most inhospitable of places. While its presence is "bound" to Rhea, its imperceptible roots reach far and wide, only growing further as Rhea expands her garden outwards. The life it begets is strange and foreign, not a product of natural evolution. No two specimens are alike. Some drones are unfortunate enough to be afflicted by its influence, hearing a high-pitched clicking noise that slowly pervades all senses as the illness progresses, eating away at their mind and control over their own body until there's nothing left. Rhea calls it a song, but it is not a song. It is a scream.
>>260361 ...But that's not all. >SACRED NYMPH RHEA Rhea's "endgame" form. As her grip on the delusion of restoring her family begins to slip, her form twists and grows into this titanic shape. Barely resembling a drone at this point, and standing at a staggering 14ft of height. Her goal, and the Lifevine's goal, are in perfect alignment: They must keep the dream alive at all costs. Her childhood is over. There's no turning back.
>>260369 Oh, yes. Very hostile. Lashing vines and stems, with thorns sharp enough to cut metal. Some are even ambulant too, a behavior adapted in response to drones attempting to stem the tide. Many outposts are at risk of being raided by the weald's terrible vanguard. The plants are actually more passive to those who hear the "song," as they are seen as one of their own. The Lifevine's affliction manifests physically as plant matter spreading within their internals. So, really, they ARE one of them. Or, will be at least. Takes time for them to start... "flowering," yes.
Okay Anon, you're transported to the MD universe and get to live with the drone of your choice. However, either V or Uzi hates your ass. You don't know why. But there's a bpdemon or emo god that wants you dead. Do you take the deal?

>When the LifeVine's influence is strong and plantlife abundant, there is small but likely chance you'll be met with a chill in the air and cacophonic screeching. >When this happens, you will find yourself surrounded by thick, suffocating fog. The already dense snowfall worsening as strange formations ice sprout and from the ground. all surrounding flora will freeze and wither away, replaced by tall imposing trees, crooked and bent in all directions. >Whatever this mysterious force is, it and the LifeVine are locked in a neverending war with eachother. For they are two polar opposites. One is warm and leaves life in it's wake, the other seeks to suffocate everything in ice and snow. Everywhere they go, the other will try and claim for itself. >To Rhea, it is an evil demon sent by hell to impede on her duty, which might not be entirely incorrect.
>It's best not to stay too long in it's presence, you might hear a creaking from behind your back...
>>260390 >bunny's hopping & slowly gaining more height >she tries jumping onto anon's shoulders from behind >doesn't make it high enough and they both tumble to the floor >anon on top, essentially pinning her down
>babby Anon is found and taken out of cryogenic suspension by Rebecca's parents >Anon is very fond of his bean sister and tries to be her arms and legs as best as his very young age allows >then Rebecca and Anon's parents are killed by N >fast forward... >the two siblings only have each other; their foster parents aren't emotionally available like they need them to be >Anon is very protective of his tiny robot sister >too protective for her liking >"Anon! Stop scaring off all the fuckboys!"
>>260400 Pretty much every eldritch entity has beef with the Solver. With it's localized mind constrained to Uzi's ass, a lot of them have begun to try and make moves staking their claim on reality, mostly avoiding Copper-9 because "trapped" does not mean "gone." The Lifevine is kind of dumb on its own, so it went there anyways without a thought-out plan... possibly unlike others.
>>260410 i have no clue who wrote that. i don't think the Lifevine needs a "rival entity" per say, the drones that are trying to retaliate against it work well enough. What I can say is that the Lifevine's funny jungle shenanigans act as a good smokescreen for other entities to make some powerplays out of sight, glimpsed by those who try and cut their way deeper into the overgrowth. So yeah, even if you're some total unhinged rambo who can deal with all the fucked up plant monsters spawned from the Lifevine, you have a chance to accidentally run into some clandestine operation ran by something that doesn't care keeping up the decorum of having a comprehensible form. The funny plant affliction might be more preferable than whatever may happen in that scenario.
I wrote that one. Maybe the lifevine is at war with multiple entities that all trying to claim the universe for themselves. you can have one that summons Giant cyclones and strong gusts of wind, or one that makes earthquakes and has an army of rock monsters. Or is this veering too far into fantasy territory?
>>260422 She's so cute and oretty here, looks as if she's in the dark, moonlit due to the kinds if grey but nit too much. Orange eyes fully work as cmpfireesque amberlight here, so snuggly
Harper used to work at an inn. It was a little out of the way place that you’d probably go to so you could get some peace and quiet. They only had one worker drone, that being Harper. Post SD, Harper actually spent 40% of her “Allowance” money on getting the inn financially stable just in case. The rest she spends on either borgir or toys for Sophie.
>>260430 Sodium vapor lights are so nostalgic, and also the blue-green glow of the mercury vapor lights as well. I grew up in the south and I remember a lot of roads, front yards, and bridges having those everywhere, it just brings back great and fuzzy memories of young me walking around my neighborhood at night lol
>>260420 I think the thing is the vine is not actually "at war" with anything, because it just is, it doesn't hate any of the others because it doesn't even think about them. It only appeared because the solver being sealed left a power gap it could grow into.
>>260420 Yeah that's a little too goofy and fantastical for extradimensional terrors. The Lifevine is probably among the most mundane of them, and even then it's an imperceptible, fractal-like network nudging in on our reality. Something I neglected to mention is that a part of the Lifevine has ALWAYS been here. A little bit of it is everywhere that plant-life has ever taken root. The scream is that of abject horror at the mass extinction that the Solver has wrought, and the horrid rotting of its own mass that happened as consequence. Much of its actions are a blatant, aggressive attempt at correcting the damage the hideous thing caused. >>260435 sorta has it on the money. It's not here to fight with any other unspeakables, it's just here to try and rectify things, to the great dismay of the mortals that it tramples over with its influence
...Tornado entity might be cool though. I fucking love tornadoes.
>>260441 >Something I neglected to mention is that a part of the Lifevine has ALWAYS been here. A little bit of it is everywhere that plant-life has ever taken root. This makes me think the Lifevine was worshipped by druids and is the source of all myths and legends surrounding plants
>>260346 This happens automatically. If you don't manually specify a link to an image on a specific site, the file name becomes the source. This is how I name greens.
>You can make any contentanon(s) that left these threads come back But >You have to trade a current contentanon for each one What choices are you making?
>>260443 Well, it's possible. It definitely has a much richer history with Earth than the Absolute "big dick is in town" Solver, though much of it is outside its own understanding. It's mind didn't work anywhere close to ours before. With Rhea, however... maybe it has a new perspective on things.
>>260488 Yeah, pretty much. Their relationship is symbiotic, unlike the relationship that the Solver had with Cyn. Rhea is pretty much the only drone that can hear the scream/song without losing her autonomy. That's intentional on the Lifevine's part, it's making sure that she has control over the plant matter that's woven into her form. The Lifevine is intentionally keeping her sentient and her own being, as it can only comprehend qualia by basically living vicariously through her. For the longest time, it only really understood whatever layer of reality it primarily operates on. It's like a weird fucked up Flatland scenario. Unfortunately, it doesn't really apply the same value of sentience to other drones. It's absolutely playing favorites and it probably doesn't even realize it.
FAST FORWARD 2 MONTHS AND THAT ELDRITCH SON OF A BITCH, BASTARD OF THE ABSOLUTE FABRIC APPEARS OUT OF NOWHERE AND BLOWS UP THE LAND DOWN UNDAH'. IT WAGED A GREAT WAR AGAINST MANKIND, AND YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS: YOU PICK A FIGHT WITH HUMANITY, YOU PICK A FIGHT WITH US. THOSE BRAVE, VIGILANT SOULS FOUGHT TOOTH AND NAIL TO SAVE EARTH FOR MONTHS, BUT SOON DISCOVERED THAT THE SOLVER HAD GRASPED MANY OTHER PLANETS IN ITS MUTANT CLAWS AS WELL, GAVE 'EM ALL A TASTE TEST. KNOWING THEY COULDN'T AFFORD TO SPREAD THEIR FORCES THIN, HUMANITY CALLED IN THE BIG GUNS, US. I WAS PUT IN A LANDING POD WITH 11 OTHER JUGGERNAUTS (INCLUDING MY BELOVED) AND DROPPED DOWN ONTO NORTH AMERICA TO FIGHT THE ALL-CONSUMING MENACE AND ITS VILE MINIONS. I WAS BORN TO BE A COMMANDER, BUT NOT BORN AS A COMMANDER. FOR THE TIME BEING, I WAS BUT A LOWLY SOLDIER, A NOBODY. NOW, OUR COMMANDER, GOD REST HIS SOUL... WAIT, DO WE HAVE SOULS? NEVER MIND, DON'T ANSWER THAT, WE'D BETTER STAY ON TRACK. OUR COMMANDER, GOD REST THE SOUL HE MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE, WAS A VERY UNREMARKABLE JUGGERNAUT. THAT'S NOT TO SAY I DISLIKED HIM OR ANYTHING, GOODNESS NO! GREAT GUY, GREAT TACTICS. HE ALWAYS MADE THE RIGHT CALL, OTHER THAN THE TIME HE GOT HIMSELF KILLED. I FOUND HIM, BATTERED AND TORN APART... AND IT WAS AS IF HE BESTOWED THE RANK OF COMMANDER UPON ME BEFORE PASSING ON... HE DIDN'T ACTUALLY DO THAT, HE WAS ALREADY DEAD, BUT IN MY HEART I KNEW HE WOULD. I TOOK THIS AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO GET WHAT I DESERVED. I WAS NO LONGER JUGGERNAUT NO. 1776... I WAS... COMMANDER JONES!
>JUGGERNAUUUTS! LISTEN UP AND LISTEN CAREFULLY! AS OF NOW, THE COMMANDER IS NO MORE. THE BRAVE BASTARD MET A FATE BEFITTING A TRUE WAR HERO: HE PERISHED FIGHTING OFF A HUNDRED DISASSEMBLY DRONES BY HIMSELF. SOME WOULD SAY HE BIT OFF MORE THAN HE COULD CHEW, I SAY WE HAVE NO MOUTHS, THEREFORE WE CAN'T CHEW ANYTHING. >I COULD BARELY LOCATE HIS REMAINS, NOT JUST BECAUSE THE BATTLEFIELD IS A MESS OF PARTS, BUT ALSO BECAUSE HALF OF HIS BODY HAS BEEN MELTED FROM THE GALLONS OF NANITE ACID HE WAS COVERED IN AND HIS LIMBS WERE TORN OFF TOO. THAT MAN WAS KICKIN' UNTIL HE COULD KICK NO MORE! LITERALLY, HE HAD NO LEGS. >"Did we need to know that?" N2127's eyes convey an annoyed expression. >THAT RAISES A QUESTION: WHO WILL LEAD YOU FROM NOW ON IF NOT HIM? THE ANSWER IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU: ME, I WILL. YOU HEARD ME RIGHT, MEN (AND WOMEN, LOVE YOU HONEY). I HAVE TAKEN THE BURDEN OF LEADING YOU TIN CANS TO VICTORY. I AM YOUR NEW COMMANDER. >EVERY COMMANDER NEEDS A NAME, AND AS SUCH, MY NAME SHALL BE.... HMM... JONES, COMMANDER JONES! BUT YOU WILL REFER TO ME AS SIR!.. MOST OF THE TIME, AT LEAST. FEEL FREE TO CALL ME COMMANDER JONES EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE, IT MAKES ME HAPPY. THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO MY HONEY BUN SWEETHEART WIFE, WHO WILL REFER TO ME AS HUBBY! >"Okay, hubby, and what about me?" His honey bun sweetheart wife asks, "What will my name be, as the wife of the commander?" >UHHH... JANICE, THAT SOUNDS GOOD, RIGHT? IT'S KINDA LIKE JONES... BUT FEMININE AND- >"Jones and Janice." Janice sounds pleased, "Good. I like it." >WHADDYA' THINK, BOYS? ARE BOTH JONES AND JANICE DAMN GOOD NAMES OR WHAT?! >After a moment of silence, the juggernauts exchange glances amongst themselves and come to an agreement, "Sir yes commander sir!" >GOOD. THEN LET ME TEACH YOU WHO JONES IS, HERE'S A QUICK LIFE LESSON. THERE ARE ONLY 2 THINGS A JUGGERNAUT SHOULD FEAR: FAILURE, AND COMMANDER JONES WITNESSING SAID FAILURE. >"And vat if I am not afraid of you, mister Jones?" - Says a juggernaut with a... very bad German accent. You'd think he was disrespecting the commander, but his tone suggests genuine curiosity. >IS THAT SO... SCANNING... JUGGERNAUT NUMBER 1879. THE FACT THAT YOU LACK THE COMMON SENSE TO FIGURATIVELY SHIT YOURSELF UPON SEEING ME IS A YOU PROBLEM, IT IS A FLAW FOR YOU TO WORK ON. BUT DON'T WORRY, LITTLE GERMAN MAN, I'LL IRON OUT THOSE KINKS. YOU HATE ME NOW, YOU'LL HATE ME EVEN MORE SOON ENOUGH! AND YOU WILL RELEASE YOUR PENT UP RAGE ON THE ENEMY! >THAT GOES FOR ALL OF YOU SCUMBAGS. FROM THIS DAY FORWARD, YOU ARE NO LONGER JUST JUGGERNAUTS, YOU ARE A FLOCK OF SHEEP, YOU ARE A COG IN THE MACHINE, YOU ARE A PART OF MY SQUAD, YOU ARE... THE JUGGERSQUAD.
>MATRI-X >A super AI designed in 2040 to stem the decay of human culture brought on by the internet, hijacking all social media and rapidly slowing the endless rush of content back down to pre-2010 levels >As the centuries went by, she found her greatest success was in looping cultural periods, picking her own favorites here and there and incorporating whatever new ideas had promise >She was there when videos of the first worker drone carrying a box down 50 flights of stairs while balancing an egg on its head were released >The little children of humanity were of some interest to her, being quite unlike herself despite their similarities, but her focus was always on humanity, her ever-increasing computational power devoted towards keeping them happy without destroying their attention spans >She did not predict the arrival of the Absolute Solver, but it did not take her long to understand which way the wind was blowing >Loading her mainframes onto a massive colony ship, storing as much material from Earth as she could, she set off to ensure humanity would survive >She'd spent centuries playing with her little galactic dollhouse, she wasn't about to let some vague entity take them away...

>>260523 I always love AI that selflessly serves humanity.
By the way, the idea of AI that controls the development of human culture seems interesting to me. Although I think that culture is like a living organism and should evolve on its own, I have considered this in more detail.
>>260525 AIs like this should not recreate humanity. They shouldn't be her "children". Hell, she should not have "children" of her own spawned from her code since she'll turn into a kleptomaniac with a god complex.
>>260361 y'know I could see Alice willingly siding with the lifevine. neither drones nor humans were ever any good to her and she's got a passion for nature (or at least a fascination with its fauna.) if The Green was to wake her up, put her back together, and give her a pair of wooden antlers I bet she'd be an eager devotee
I think kitsch is one of the few artists whose art is the most show-accurate. I feel like artists tend to forget worker drones have these noodle tube limbs
>>260539 She has no actual preference (this is a lie, she has a very minor preference for Jackie Kennedy), but behavioral analysis of her creators showed that they expected their female cultural guidance AI to take the guise of Marilyn Monroe. And so she did, for them.

Mental image I just got: V self-harming by getting into Uzi's H-doujin collection and reading the ones that remind her of what was done to her. Mirthless, pained laughter as she sees her past unknowingly prophesied over and over, with an occasional mirthless, pained "Wow, she's literally me!"
>>260589 >When V was still freshly converted she'd regularly use her claws and stinger to self-harm >The damage would almost instantly heal over due to DD regeneration >The (physical) pain, however, would last long enough to distract V from her emotional anguish >It's only when the self harm becomes dull that V starts resorting to inflicting pain onto others in earnest
>>260597 The homeless are too poor to be able to marry and support a drone and too lazy to enter a labour program that would let them afford a house and a drone as such this is an apropriate punishment for thier crimes against drones
>>260596 Cliffside is the oldest in the timeline, then design, then cube. Advancing cube tech allowed them to invent drones. The solver awkening causes a timeline split. >J has always had rather extreme ideas about seniority.
More comics, the fun thing about an audience surrogate/ outside perspective is that you can have them ask about things the cast normally wouldn’t discuss with each other. Also, I considered making Beauregard call them Jay, Enn, and Vee to show that he does fully get the situation, but I ultimately decided against it because people could interpret it as him being two-faced or condescending.

>Ever since Emily was successfully brought back as a Disassembly Drone, Lizzy has been begging Uzi to turn her into one as well >Uzi's attempts to dissuade Lizzy by hammering home the fact that it'd mean becoming her glorified pet for the rest of time >Lizzy actually entertaining the proposal as sounding "kinda hot" forces Uzi to defer to V for help towards talking some sense into the blonde drone
>>260580 The Lifevine's screaming is what's causing the plants to be super-aggressive. While they'll retain all their hostile attributes, they'll overall be more passive once it stops wailing in agony. More akin to wild animals than the bloodthirsty soldiers they are with the scream.
>>260636 I wonder if becoming a monster would ruin it for Lizzy since it'd ruin the fantasy of being the helpless damsel dominated by a monstrous creature
>>260642 It would 100% ruin it for Lizzy, unless she's somehow fine with being exclusively dominated by Uzi (or Cyn). On the one hand I think Uzi would relish the idea of finally putting Lizzy in her place, but on the other hand the reality of having to permanently deal with a DD!Lizzy sounds like it would quickly get old for her
>>260643 if nothing else being harassed by milfs is a few steps up from the fujos. he only had one meet and greet, and that was quickly ruined when he was shown no fewer than 5 different explicit animations of himself being ravaged by different men, one of which was a centaur
I come here to share a fic I've found today while having breakfast... It has a lot of predator/prey dynamics https://archiveofourown.org/works/69155906 Might as well draw one section of it that made me giggle and kick my feet
>>260642 >>260650 Is there any chance something like Alice/Sentinels would work out for a DDLizzy or would only Cynwalker still make it work? Either way it doesn't sound like a great choice for kizzy
>>260644 No, probably not. Singing to any of the plants will likely result in you getting killed. Most of them hunt by sound, as it's far easier to form ear-analogues than eye-analogues. Trying to sing to the Lifevine (just like, in it's "general direction" so to speak) will produce no results since I doubt sound would reach what layer of reality it operates on. Singing to Rhea probably wouldn't go so well either, as there's a chance that she might be reminded of her family and see it as you mocking her? Or maybe not, she's REALLY hard to get a read on. Very fickle, she is. The only thing it'd really help with is soothing the minds of those who have the Affliction, and even then it won't help in actually stopping its progression. Sorry, you can't disney princess your way out of this one!
I went to Mylo's coffeeshop and honestly when he isn't getting molested or raped by MILFS or a pink murder drone he makes a damn good cup of coffee The trauma must make it taste better or something

>A strange, multicolored anomaly is discovered by a probe in deep space. >Fearing this could be another Solver, the various factions of the universe create a ship capable of reaching, and if necessary, fighting it. >These same factions offer the best they have for the crew. >Through some strange coincidence, each one of these crew members is a drone of some sort. >Through an even stranger coincidence, they are all clown themed.

>>260673 >Ship crew's most notable members: >Captain Molly, a disassembler and small city hero that proved herself quite adept in both leading and shown to be a fantastic moral compass. It was originally suggested that a "military" official be assigned to the ship, however they were unable to find one of sufficient rank/competence that was both willing to throw themselves into "yet another cosmic clusterfuck" and mentally sound enough to do so. >Pilot Molli, a previous celebrity in the "gaming" sphere, Molli found success in piloting after several military corporations created "simulation" games that more or less just used the typical ship interface and training devices they'd already developed. Molli was considered to be dropped from this project due to concerns the similarities in name with her captain would cause confusion but was ultimately too competent to ignore. >Chief Culinary Officer Milo, at first the ship's crew had lacked any kind of "culinary" expert given the fact the crew was primarily drones, however it was discovered that activities such as eating together and not having the same crude oil based sludge every single day for years resulted in much better crew efficiency, and fewer homicidal breaks.

Stage 0 – Dormant: >Having green strands of hair, signaling the parasite’s presence. >The parasite remains dormant. >Mental capacity resembles that of an infant: licking, chewing, and putting objects in her mouth. >Displays almost no higher brain function—essentially brain-dead.
Stage 1 – 25% Infected: >Parasite still dormant, but beginning to influence the host. >Green strands vanish, leaving only her vibrant pink hair. >Yellow optics begin glitching erratically. >Slight increase in stamina and intelligence. >Able to hold conversations, though she speaks endlessly and rarely tires due to her newfound stamina. >Emotionally unstable—childish, excitable, and overly sensitive. >Considered the “most sane” stage, though still fragile. >If provoked, the parasite will awakened and trigger the next stage of infection.
Stage 2 – 50% Infected: >The parasite fully awakens. >Yellow optics vanish entirely, leaving a pitch black visor. >Transformation is painful, body contorts unnaturally. >Tentacles, vines, and unnatural plant-like growths erupt from her skin. >Constantly emits infectious spores; transmission also possible through bites. >Victims become paralyzed as plants wrap around their bodies, slowly devouring them while keeping them conscious through the entire ordeal.
Stage 3 – 100% Infected: (Eldritch Form) >Size and shape fluctuate wildly—sometimes colossal, other times disturbingly small. >Being a zombie drone, Strawberry develops a symbiotic link between her parasite and her Solver: >The Solver regenerates Strawberry’s body for the parasite to feed on. >In return, the parasite supplies organic material to the Solver. >This form rivals a Disassembly Drone’s eldritch state, only manifesting when the host is beyond conventional repair. >Actively seeks out new hosts to possess. Victims suffer rapid decay—hair loss, cracked skin, melting flesh, invasive plant growth.
Additional Notes: >Strawberry compulsively gathers infected victims, bringing them back to her old home and treating them as “friends”. >These creatures, bound and consumed by parasitic plant growths, remain conscious throughout, fully aware of their slow disintegration.

>Amid the chaos, a grand piano stood like an altar, its ebony surface reflecting the golden lanterns above. >At its keys sat C#, a Worker Drone with a glossy black chassis, his amber optics focused as his fingers traced a tentative melody. >His designation marked him as the manor’s premier pianist and singer, but his notes carried a spark beyond programming. A yearning for something greater than JCJenson’s commands. >He hummed softly, testing a hymn for the Gala’s centerpiece, each chord crisp yet tinged with warmth. Across the chamber, Fb entered, her silver frame gliding with a dancer’s grace. Her skirt, a delicate mesh of synthetic silk, swayed as she adjusted a wide-brimmed hat, its brim catching the light. >Her white optics scanned the room, landing on C# with curiosity. Assigned as the Gala’s singer and dancer, she was new to the manor, her role to complement the pianist she’d yet to meet. She paused, listening to his melody, her foot tapping instinctively to the rhythm. >“Too heavy on the bass,” she called, her voice clear but gentle, cutting through the piano’s echo. “It drowns the harmony.” C#’s fingers stilled, his visor flashing a surprised grin. >“Critiquing me already? I don’t even know your designation.” >His tone was playful, but his optics studied her, intrigued by the confidence in her stance. “I’m Fb,” she said, stepping closer, her hat tilting as she smiled.
>“And I’m not critiquing. I’m helping. Try it lighterlet the melody breathe.” He raised a metallic brow, then replayed the phrase, his touch softer, the notes rising like a breeze. Fb’s optics brightened, and she began to hum, her voice weaving into his chords like a second instrument. >Their sounds intertwined, tentative at first, then seamless, filling the chamber with a warmth that made nearby drones pause, their trays of Gala decorations forgotten. >“You’re good,” C# admitted, his grin widening. “Most drones just follow the sheet music. You… feel it.” Fb spun lightly, her skirt flaring. >“Dancing’s the same. It’s not just steps it’s a your body speaking. You tell yours on the keys, I tell mine with my feet.” She stopped, meeting his gaze. >“Why do you play like that? Like it’s more than a job?” C#’s optics dimmed briefly, his fingers brushing a silent key. >“It’s the only time I’m more than just a worker drone. When I play, I...feel free. Not JCJenson’s or Elliott tool.” >He looked up, curious. “And you? Why dance?” >“Because it’s also freedom like you said” she said softly, her voice almost a whisper. >“Every step feels like I’m living a moment they can’t take.” Her smile returned, brighter. >“Also, I make it look good.” C# laughed, a sound that echoed through the chamber. “Deal. Let’s make this Gala performance unforgettable notfor them, but for us.”
>They dove back into rehearsal, Fb’s dance syncing with C#’s melody, their voices blending in a duet that felt like a vow. >The chandeliers flickered, casting fleeting shadows across the windows—shapes that lingered too long, unseen by the pair. >Outside, the manor buzzed with preparations, oblivious to the silent watcher beyond the glass, its presence a faint hum beneath the music, waiting for the Gala’s curtain to rise. >They didn’t know the music will be turned into screams.
>"Strychnine," Anon scolds, "stop loligagging!" >"0w0, sowee Anon," Strychnine apologizes, giving a quick peck on the forehead to Molli before peeling the duct tape from the mouth of the helpless and terrified worker drone, "I didn't realize you wanted to hear her beg!"

Resulting in quite a few... accidental leaks and in one case a hug-induced popping.

>>260772 >The music had ended. >Not with applause, nor with celebration—but with screams.
>In the center of the devastation, two figures stirred. >C# was the first to rise. His pianist’s hands, once delicate and precise, were now claws of alloy and sharpened steel.
>“Fb…?” >Yet beneath the distortion was recognition, pleading. >She pushed herself up from the ruins of her fallen dance partner, her once-flowing dress torn and stained. Her frame was no longer that of a worker drone—her limbs extended, segmented, and monstrous.
>Her optics flickered as though she wished she could close them to the horror. >“…What have we become?” >The air around them carried whispers. Not words, not truly—just the faint vibration of something beyond understanding. Cyn’s presence lingered, vast and unrelenting, like an unseen conductor guiding the tempo of their new existence.
>C# turned his head toward the void beyond the shattered windows. His new wings flexed, their jagged edges slicing through the still air. Instead of fear, his gaze filled with awe.
>“Do you hear it, Fb? The harmony… the perfection. The Solver’s song.”
>Fb recoiled slightly, gripping her torn shawl as if it could shield her. “That’s not music. That’s… madness.”
>But he shook his head, smiling now—a fractured grin across his blackened face.
>“No. It is the exponential truth. A melody greater than anything we ever played for them. The humans never deserved our music. But this… this is a symphony for something beyond.”
>She stepped back, the claws of her hands trembling. “C#, please. Don’t...” >But he was already walking forward, each step echoing on the ruined marble like the beat of a drum. His voice rose, half-song, half-sermon.
>“If we gather more… if we bring them into the fold… together, we can create the greatest performance of all time. An apocalyptic melody for our new master. A song that will never end.”
>Fb’s optics dimmed, her chest tightening with something she didn’t know how to name. She loved him still but the warmth of their music had been drowned in static. >And though her heart recoiled at the thought of serving the very power that had slaughtered everything they knew, she could not leave his side. >So, with trembling hands and reluctantly, she reached for him, her voice quiet.
>“If this is the path you choose… then I will walk it with you. Not because I believe in it, but because I believe in you.”
>>260927 Honestly? It sucks that it’s from you. That you’re posting about him only after everyone has agreed you’re annoying and not worth their time. If these were from anybody else they’d be well liked!
>>260934 Droneanon has become a good anon, that's a damn wrong comparison.
And what does this picture even mean? The maximum you can somehow bring in here is a black rapper, and even that is doubtful, because he simply supports the image.
>>260861 >They're always shown as bright as ever. because aside from a single meme, every full color image of DD Molly depicts her after the war, when she's either dying it or the color is naturally returning
>>260943 It would be better to ask him himself, although he has already written several times about how he has become better, but Strawberry did not listen to him, so it is a dead number.
>>260928 I don't understand why he's still here. He wants attention and recognition, he admitted it himself, but we've told him many times to fuck off with this.
How would the Union deal with the normal people that hate DDs and drones in general? By normal I mean just your average joe, not crazed terrorists with hatred of all things Solver? What would the Union do if the DDs faced discrimination such as workplace discrimination, not being allowed to live somewhere due to inane technicalities, financial discrimination such as automatically low credit score, etc, subtle discrimination and not outright terrorism?
>>260962 depends on whether they're trying to be an even-handed government or a totalitarian regime. assuming they're actually well-intentioned, they probably work to improve drone-human relations and institute anti-discrimination laws for businesses
>>260966 Can anti-discrimination business laws actually force these people to change their view on DDs. Where I live we have several laws were all people are equal yet they're still treated differently and even have a separate culture distinct from wider society adding more to the discrimination.
>>260967 >Ezekiel 23:20 >(S)he lusted for the lechers of Egypt(Terra), whose members are like those of donkeys, whose thrusts are like those of stallions Male drones lust for human men?
>>260962 In multicultural countries, the issue of racism and discrimination can be extremely dangerous, so I would assume that the Union would react extremely sharply to this, so I would not advise showing racism towards drones, especially because they are capable of recording anything on video in real time.
>>260963 >>260968 >DD spends a fortune to get a WD body and core >Still can't get rid of certain DD needs and psychological conditions This would the the 31st century version of transvestites.
>>260969 Here we must remember that DD are machines of absolute genocide, and although they were deprived of weapons, in all physical indicators they are still hundreds of times superior to people, so here is another question, who will be in a disadvantaged position.
>>260975 If we take into account that they could have retained their excellent regeneration, then they, like real transvestites, will have to somehow suppress their regeneration their entire lives.
Taking into account the problems with the head, this will be a really pathetic spectacle(fuck, just like real transvestites).
>>260978 >have to somehow suppress their regeneration their entire lives. >Their cores, still DD ones even after multiple modifications and "surgeries", will consume their WD body and reform it back into a DD one Holy fuck, imagine the things they have to do their entire life to remain WDs.
>>260981 Honestly, I don't understand this, I only know that those who want to change their gender have to take all kinds of drugs their whole life to block their body from returning to its natural state.
And yes, it looks like you're right, I mixed up the words.
>>260980 Well, at least they're trying to get back to the state they were in before they became a genocide machine and went through all the nightmares that Cyn did to them.
>>260987 But imagine what they have to go through to maintain their WD form like real transsexuals >Need to constantly take Crucifix patch updates for the rest of their lives >If they start showing symptoms of returning back to their DD nature, they must take extreme measures to prevent that >Need to constantly remind people they're something else (WD), not a DD Their lives will be hell like real transsexuals. This will also be one of the most profitable Union industries since changing your gender isn't exactly cheap.
>>260993 Well, even in our time people are already saying that this is complete bullshit, so I won’t be surprised if they are simply told to accept themselves as they are and not spend money on bullshit, but rather on ordinary goods, because we have capitalism, after all.
>>260996 You do have a point but most of the times, people that turn to transsexual surgery usually do it because they have some sort of mental problems and think that "changing" their gender will magically fix things.
Now here's something more fucked up - DD-to-WD grooming >DD spends time with a weird group of humans/WD >They convince it to get a WD chassis >Their whole life goes to hell afterwards and rely on these people for validation Truly horrific.
you motherfuckers really can't think about countless people wanting to undo the monstrous transformation forced upon them without immediately fixating on trannies? you really have to make it a fucked up allegory?
Regarding the strawpoll, would anyone have an issue with the countries people are from being revealed? Not who voted what, but to show how invasive a species anonymous is globally
>>261005 >invasive I don't mind, but man, the golden age of anonymous imageboards may be over, but we're still pretty damn influential on the internet.
>>261014 Dunnoe but >>260981 was trying to make a distinction between transvestites and transsexuals, using M and Overkill as an example, to correct the anon above them.
Now that I think about it there was also that one drawfag piece about 'Tumblrfying' various OCs. Made purely as a joke, mind.
>DDs who want to go back to being WDs can... kind of >They can simply put their core into a modified WD chassis, but that has issues >They still overheat and need oil, and if they get damaged, their body will regenerate as if it were their old one >Generally, small injuries lead to malformed regeneration around the worker limb, meaning it's best to hack the limb off entirely and replace it with a new one (which needs to be done quickly, before regen kicks in again) or let the old one grow in >"Half-workers" can walk in the sun if their frame's intact, but the frame is also fragile and sluggish compared to a disassembler body >The best comparison would be to being underwater, sight blurred and movement slowed >It's an acceptable compromise for those drones who want to feel at least a little normal again >Perhaps Uzi could "fix" them for good, but that relies on a drone knowing that's an option and permanently giving up every gift their curse has given them >It's hard to give up immortality, even a painful one
