Honestly I think that Anon last thread had a point, but he was being kind of a faggot about it. Also I may also be incredibly biased since I just prefer personally Drones over human stuff and mostly like to center my threadlore around what is shown to be possible on-screen.
Before the backstory was revealed, via episode 2. Did any of you do any autistic writings or have an idea in your head for how the rest of the series would go? If so, what was it?
>>219768 I always knew that the Earth was destroyed in some way. Thought it would be revealed that JCJenson was actually an AI this entire time that was endlessly following a long extinct protocol to quell a robot uprising which already took place and resulted in said destruction of Earth
>>219770 The point about human mutants. I honestly wouldn't mind if it was mutated Drones since we know that's canonically possible through the Zombie Drone tape. But also, the weird super soldier shit is a bit-off putting, I feel like it takes away from the urgency and horror that would be the actual Solver War. But personally those are just my thoughts, I don't like it, but I'm not going to bitch up a storm about it.

>>219784 I get that your Shitposting, but I actually disagree. I do like some of the stuff Pocketsteaks has brought to the table, after all they were one of the first if I remember correctly to discuss the Solver war before it was even shown on screen in a tiny flashback.
>>219776 I like canon and OC. I think it's cool that a flawed 8 episode show about silly robots can inspire such a variety of stories and drastic departures. there's a handful of things I dislike enough to have strong feelings on but in most cases the most negative I'll feel about a thread creation is a silent "blech, no thanks."
>>219783 The only thing that's kept me alive is fucking the Disassembly drone that found my hideout into submission every 12 hours. I don't know how much longer I can last.
>>219776 >Would it be fair to say you prefer more condensed stories? Condensed or long form doesn't matter. I like Murder Drones for what's in it. I'm a simple guy.
I know that it's seen as a bit bueno, but we need more greens of the Canon cast interacting with OC. Not saying shit like >And then John showed up and Uzi thought he was really super cool and wanted to suck his cock immediately Or >And then Jane showed up and solo'd Post-Episode 8 Uzi and anal vored N But ya know, actually expressing the characters and showing how they'd actually interact. Think it would be good for some OCs that seem a bit lacking in the personality and depth department
>>219798 (me) But also, some Post-show greens of the canon cast would be cool too. I remember that one with V and Lizzy, where they discuss how V is still seen as pretty much a monster
>>219798 I agree! >Harper talks to Khan about the struggled of being a parent and understands that while Uzi lives in a way more dangerous environment than her child does, that’s no excuse to not talk to her
>>219776 >I take it you're similar to the other anon who values pathos/'edge'? Yes. The entire setting is dark as fuck when you solve the mystery and read between the lines, and this is going to get hammered in after whatever happens to Pomni in front of a completely unsuspecting Netflix normalfag audience. >Would I be correct in assuming you're one of the several writefags that have visited thus far? I am. People generally like my writing.
>>219766 think i drew AVRE with a bren once, maybe twise, unsure where the drawing was but it wasent very good
Side note: the mutant situation is kinda... stupid right now, my personal opinion is that you can fit any type of character in this setting if you write it in well enough, and im fine with that, and while some the characters recently have been kind 'eh' in my opinion (the frog), they've sense grown on me now that they have a story being built up.
Side side note: i would be hypocritical if i went any further with this discussion but i find it really funny how this debate was happening right after a bunch of peeps started making greens when people asked for more of them (totaly not salty my green got drowned out by this bullshit)

>>219776 >Alright. Could you elaborate on that? Do you like to see the existing setting of MD expanded in fanfiction or more off-shoots about related yet unique stories? I like seeing the world elaborated on in all regards, mostly the universe and such before the events of the show. I like seeing other colonies expanded on and given lore, I like people making other kinds of Drones and I like seeing people elaborate on military history, doctrine and technology for the Solver War. I just love seeing thin concepts expanded upon by random people, whether it's just a small story or an expansive green.

>>219734 For me it's canon, 98.7% of why I come her is canon. Copper-9 has incredible aesthetics, the entire series has, I like the bunker the least but Camp 98.7, CFL and the Elliot manor are all so beautifull, fittingly atmospheric and detailed, seeing the canon characters there with such good animation and voice acting with so much intricacies and implications to feast off, it's enough for me. Tho tbh, I need to admit easily 75% at min of enthusiasm is from and for Alice alone, these days especially. OC, I don't dislike it technically but it rarely does much for me, I like great art it sometimes gets but I currently don't have the time to read all greens. But I appreciate it still since it clearly keeps many people here and almost everyone has an OC, also those few I read like the Henry greens were really well written, albeit I lost touch on those shortly after Harper managed to get away with Elizabeth's core. It's not bad I just prefer canon since it has Alice simple as. >Mix Is great, but rather rare. >Worldbuilding or selfcontained? Ah, back in the day we had a few lt ng LG ng Alicegreens, in December 23 there was femanons 10 part green of Alice trying (and failing) to steal N's hearr, there was the Alice-Beau-truckergreen, there was Emilyanon's original continued Alicegreen, there was...I firgit the anons name, forageranonbit was, i rember now(🙏💀😭), in response to the drawing meecurial and me made of the Alice in snowy woods redraw request, it was so nicely done but ended suddenly. All those had many parts, often having a few to just build atmosphere, give some purpose to the (you) character, some goal in that world, (either the survivor in the ig green, looking for increasingly rare food in delapidated-lopsided CFL, seeing Sentinels which were so well described to be unstable, even befire there were any signs of things being of ir Alice and Beua's presence it had such a detailled atmosphere, I didn't read it in 18 months but I remember it still.
Anyways this is full of spelling mistakes but long greens over several parts are the ones I remember most fondly, but I always appreciated anything with Alice in ut no matter the tone or scope of it, everytime a treat and always interested in seeing how other people think about Akice and would write her. Alice rarely gets character interaction greens so I cannot say much, to the one with her and core-Nori, or her in the 40k crossover last April 24 were super good, sad that they are rare. In the end it just needs to have Alice and good is

>>219776 I can't to answer in last thread, but now I like the OC and AU content more than the original.
I still love stuff from the original show, but it doesn't appeal to me as much as it used to. We've already discussed everything we can and even several times each, and I'm not the only one who thinks so: have you noticed that we hardly discuss the original show or the original characters anymore? The source has almost completely dried up, and now we're left to dig our own well.
I really like Solver War and Veteran AU stuff, they have everything I like Murder Drones for, but also have infinite possibilities for discussion, and I'm actually surprised at the anons whining about it.
Aw idiots, we're on an anonymous imagebord, you're not forced to take part in a discussion or read greentext, you're being faggots telling anons what they should like and what they shouldn't, calm down and discuss what you like, no one is forcing you to like Buddy or Pauline.

>Snabby Fact: you know that one video of eels eating pizza? Yeah. That’s what happens when you place anything remotely edible in front of the horrible amalgamation of assimilated people inside the split part of her flesh. It didn’t have time to scream (…do cows scream? do they just moo really loud??) >Next week we’re throwing a drone covered in barbecue sauce at her to see how they react. We got a high-fps camera this time and are planning to post the slowmo footage on youtube. We’re gonna get so many subscribers bro just you wait.
Let’s shift the discussion a little. I fear as even as we have a renaissance in greens, the drawfags are one by one disappearing. You don’t see Grim, you don’t see Merc, yes you may see them and a few other notable rare artists in drawpiles, but it’s pretty likely that it is because drawpiles are more or less social events for off site groups than actual organic thread events. Less art is getting drawn, even less stuff is getting catalogued, and virtually no new anons are showing up. The old ones get tired of entertaining the community or refuse to entertain the needs of a new audience, the ones who act up or don’t meet arbitrary standards end up ostracized and evicted, and the ones who try new things (i.e modelanon’s) don’t feel appreciated. Art just gets posted less and less as the threads become ever more foreign to them. At some point, we complained about a lack of greens and successfully brought them back. What can be done to save the dying drawfag phenomenon?
>>220086 I'm just waiting for Liam's new show to come out, which looking at GL's views, may be soon (although, I'm not sure if 14 million views in a month for a pilot of a new show is a lot or not enough for Glitch).

I think something happened to my J. We went out on a camping trip last week and after an argument she stormed off into the woods. A few hours later, she came back to me but something about her seemed off. Her hair was messy, and her clothes were tighter and more revealing, like they were a few sizes too small. She also started speaking more slowly, frequently pausing to think of what to say next. The weirdest part is that she became a lot more clingy and openly affectionate. Last night she even asked me if I ever thought about having kids. My Joblins are scared, and the HobJoblin claims she saw J creeping about under the crawlspace eating Oogis. Is she okay? Am I gonna be okay?

>>220252 She was never like this before. It's like she became a completely different person after that camping trip. I could understand if she gained weight over a few weeks, but her boobs and hips just suddenly getting bigger in a few hours while I wasn't looking is suspicious.

>>220272 >15 million views on the pilot >2.3 million views on the subsequent merch video >Unironically believing that this somehow means GD didn't do good If for some stupid reason your benchmark for success is the kind of numbers that TADC gets then basically everything non-TADC GLITCH has done qualifies as having "bombed"
Well, I just think those numbers are too similar to Murder Drones' numbers, but the difference between the shows is that it costs a lot more to produce GD(you can notice it by the animation, it's even better than the final episode) and if Glitch are going to get the same amount or a bit more than for MD, it's a failure: I've heard that for an animated film or cartoon to be considered successful, it has to bring in several times more than what was spent on it, otherwise it's a failure.
Again though, I don't work in the animation industry and don't know if that's actually the case.
>>220274 I wish someone had told me that sooner because I caved and she begged me not to pull out the whole time. Now she's doing that thing from The Big Lebowski where she's curled on her back with her pussy up in the air.
So I was scrolling through my 3GB MD folder to try and see if I could find art that I vividly remembered and I stumbled upon some art from Cetka about Humanoid Solver and I randomly got a N x Solver idea involving that.
So, during Ep 8 instead of the tessa-turned-fashion Cynwalker we get Solver-given-a-humanoid-form. The whole thing would basically play out the same except for some minor differences that aren’t worth pointing out, Solver kinda gets her eldritch ass kicked so decides that getting away and coming back stronger would be her best bet of winning. However, right as she’s about to teleport away, N grabs her and gets teleported away with her, leaving everyone else on C-9 and whilst N goes with her to bumblefuck nowhere.
After like a month or so of N and the Solver being gone most people who knew N believed he was gone for good, some still had a pinch of hope that he’d come back but even they were starting to lose hope. After another few months The Solver was also believed to be gone considering that Uzi’s solver capabilities just up and vanished one day.
A year or so later N comes back out of nowhere acting like nothing ever happened between the time he was with the Solver following closely behind him holding what looked like a child in her hands. Everyone's really confused whilst N is just completely nonchalant about it like “Yeah, It took a while but eventually we made it official.”

Okay so now my Joblins are acting weird. I saw my Hobjoblin peeking around the doorway earlier and now they're all sleeping in a dogpile around J's belly.
>>220337 I really don't wanna consider that. I love my J, I really do, and I think this is the first time I ever told her so.
I have a flowchart of how to make new sentinel drones: 1) Be you 2) Approach a sentinel drone boy if you are a girl, or a sentinel drone girl if you are a boy NOT THE OTHER WAY!!!! 3) Say the sentinel drone is cute and you want to date 4) If the sentinel drone reciprocates, go to point 5, if not, start over from point 1 5) Spend a few years in establishing relations with the sentinel drone, get to know each other better, understand your desires, hopes, fears, create a strong relationship built on trust and mutual support 6) Get a marriage proposal from the sentinel drone 7) Have procreative sex in the missionary position with the sentinel drone 8) Repeat point 7 as long as you are physically capable of making pillbabies
I've been following this for ten years now, and I've already made seven sentinel drones!
>>220345 >I love my J, I really do, and I think this is the first time I ever told her so. anon, I'm sorry, but if this really is a jugbear situation and not an impossible series of coincidences then your real J died without you ever having told her you loved her. if you want to be sure, see if this J remembers things you and your J did together. make up a few that didn't happen and see if she acts like she remembers them.

>>220369 I have a Doll story in the works, among many other projects. A bit of the beginning: >Doll was no stranger to the darkness. >She rather liked the way she lurked in it. >She appreciated how the ever-present mist of the cooling planet shrouded her figure. >How it muffled the distorted digital flash as she moved in. >A sense of honor, she had. >And a sense of playfulness. >Whenever she loomed out of the gloom, she made sure to give her latest "partner" a fanged smirk. >She took satisfaction in seeing her reflection in a visor otherwise radiating pure terror and confusion.
>It was fun. >It was professional. >it was efficient. >It was polite.
>It was her to the rotting core, and the least she could do when making a final memory with, or rather, of, someone. >That was a side of herself that Doll appreciated; if nothing else, it balanced out the more controversial aspects of her nature. >Doll knew what she was. Somewhat. More or less. >As well as any mere mortal could. >The unknowns fazed her, but they could never break her.
>Doll knew she was still herself. >For now. >For long, hopefully. >For ever, should she rise for deadly battle and triumph in her sacred war.
>>220375 I'll just say that, in theory, Jugbears come from somewhere, and that, in theory, it might be possible that your J is not dead yet and is still mostly herself. Again, speaking completely hypothetically, I'd wager that if jugbears came from somewhere, they might come from, say, abandoned industrial zones in more rural or forested areas, possibly marked with radioactive hazard tape to ward away any intruders. I'd also hypothetically suggest one look into the anti-drone warfare guides readily available in things such as the do/k/ument to learn how one might construct an improvised bootloop flasher, and that one might want to bring a shotgun loaded with slugs, or a rifle chambered for .308 or heavier.
Early drafts of the rebuilding section of avre's latest green was originally going to be a 1:1 parody of meet the medic, complete with lost technician license, missing drone frame, and solver core in a jar wishing for death.

I'm not wearing any... right now I'm not... you know..." >while I was trying to piece together what it was getting at, its eyes went hollow >it said "Forget I said anything!", sprang from the couch, and ran back to the party >"Also, bite me!" it called back >at that moment I realized this sexless machine was trying to tell me it wasn't wearing panties Part 2 coming up. I wish I could be with her somehow, anywhere at all, I don't even need her to fall for me senselessly or anything. Just be with her see her, watch her do things, hear her. If it was possible I'd tp to her don't even need anyone else around. If I were able to help her after her so far rather bad life it would be enough to see her more happy. Remember all that acting she did before the bite? I see that as her having looked forward to interaction and hopefully connection with another workerdrone again after 20 years alone, it was so adorable. As said, don't need or want her to be programmed to like me at all, just be there, with her, get to interact and try make thing better, have a chance, give her a second chance again, idk.

This is the first time I've ever made this confession. I couldn't fight it anymore. It was eating me up inside, keeping this secret. I have to yell this into the void now. If you're part of Australian high society, never go to events the Elliots are hosting. You're going into uncharted waters.

Here are some things that Beretta heard her female classmates say about her dad >"Are your parents fighting at home? Probably ready to divorce, right?" >"I wanna fuck your dad." >"Hahahaha wouldn't it be just awful if your dad like just started sucking all the oil out of my body, when I'm in the shower?" >"I want to feel your daddy's organs wrapped around me, I want to be inside his moist innards..." The School Counselor has recommended Beretta just deal with it
I have discussed the matter thoroughly with my J and we have deduced that there is no such thing as Jugbears. There is nothing to be afraid if your J vanishes from your sight and returns with a much fuller figure. Sometimes the mental duress of her sudden weight gain leaves her mentally fatigued and consequently less articulate. This is also perfectly normal. She may wish to be more physically intimate from this point on and your reciprocation would be greatly appreciated.
>>220509 Joblins arrived, then the existence of Hobjoblins was brought up. That led to the logical conclusion, the Jugbear. They're full-size Js but not jobbers, extremely rare to the point of being myth, and because "jug" is in their name they have boobs. Also, they're feral yanderes.

>>220629 I've said it before but I don't know where you could go with an actual sequel series (i.e. not an anthology or prequel series) that isn't bogged down by having massively lower stakes

>>220569 The Last Human. A tall, definitely totally human guy in a big bulky suit. Somehow he survived. That's about all the legends agree on. Some say he's evil, some say he's neutral and just wandering, some drones say he saves the lost. There are a LOT of raunchy stories on what's left of the internet about lonely worker drone girls with no relation to the authors finding love in his big burly arms.
