>Scribble try not to be an annoying faggot challenge: Impossible Fun Fact: You will never be liked, you will never be seen as an equal to your parasocial connections, and you will be easily forgotten when you eventually, and I do mean eventually, fade away like the bad disease you are. You are among the ranks of the Threads worst, and your greatest achievement is only being slightly more annoying then your Peers like Dino Anon, Pillar Chan, Drone Anon, and now you
>>182359 oh what a great way to start the thread off. he's a jackass for starting a thread early so anons see his art, and you're a jackass for kicking the thread off with drama
Obviously the faggot is crashing out again Reminder >Do not engage with Scribble >Do not take Scribbles bait >Do not even make fun of Scribbles He feeds on attention and parasocial bullshittery, hopefully ignoring him when he posts and ignoring him will get him to finally remove himself
>>182366 I have an Idea scribble, why dont you make a thread just for your art so you can post your improvements there. We can call it the Scribble Containment thread. You go there and avoid Main at all times, and post your progress.
>>182373 Listen to me, I did the exact same shit you did. What you need to do is just lock the fuck in and stop asking for attention. Draw, draw, draw, write write write. Maybe something will work
>>182376 You fail to understand Scribble doesnt give two shits about actually improving, only the attention. He makes these sad posts for more attention
>>182356 No, I agree. That's why you shouldn't be on here anymore. There will be no more content for you to enjoy, so go away and improve your life as a whole. You may go, you have the permission.
>Scribble makes a thread early for attention, not even 900 posts in >Shitstorm comes after >First comments: Doomposting >Scribble whine posting and making himself the center of attention as retards both mock him or try to actually reason to him (for some reason) instead of ignoring him Wake me up l8r
>>182385 What are you talking about, that is some kind of disgusting rat drone person. Sure its a little disfigured, but thats as much of a drone as I ever seen
>>182396 Hmm, sure. If it means more Solver Mutant girls, I'm all for it. We have Abby/Abbo/redhead who's assmad about Jane. What kind of other Solver mutant character sort do you think can exist within the setting? Abby makes sense when you look at how she's serving in the military but what about unfortunate civilians from a different background? What sort of Solver-related character horror can you involve the average Joe/Jane in? NO NOT THAT JANE YOU DING DONG
>>182400 if solver-afflicted drones could act as an infection vector for humans then there are probably a good few technicians who either lost an arm to mutation or turned abomination after an unwitting client brought a contaminated drone in for repairs
>>182400 I imagine most Mutants are either regular people with common mutations (weird flesh, multiple eyes, extended limbs, more mouths, etc) Thiccer? When they arent crawling around begging for help, they eventually succumb and become basically Zombies
>>182402 Abby is an exception to being a mindless Zombie, due to her connection to Cyn which gave her a higher mental state. Shes still a starving beast, but seems capable of higher mental faculties that other mutants probably wouldnt have. After the war ends, the hope is that Mutants who arent Zombies would just be sad people with flesh mutations and relocated to Districts to live their life. But if the Solver wins the war, theyre probably either used to collect and kill people to make Flesh Spires, or actively make themselves into monuments for the Solver
>>182418 I hope not, 4chan has turned to shit and we're more limited on what we can post. not to mention pillar's not banned over there and I'd really rather not go back to putting up with his shit
>>182418 You call this dying? Nigga, I'm a Risk of Rain fan. We get like 2 posts a day over on /vm/, sometimes less. This is LITERALLY nothing in comparison. Quit whining because the more you doom the more others will doom as well. Be the activity you want to see.
>>182418 I have been going to bed at 11 and getting up at 4 to work on an assignment for the last week I'll probably doze off in the next day or two and wake up either having wrote the funniest green ever or in the middle of eating one of my classmates
>>182457 you asshats accuse anyone who doesn't react to scribbles with autistic screeching of being a pedophile. methinks the faggots doth protest too much
We know Dolls dad had a camera. since he was able to take a photo of V. But what if Doll toke photos with her dad when she was little. both before and after the disassembly drones landed but also. what if After Prom Doll started taking photos of copper 9,
Now that she's secretly a giant god-worm using her own corpse as a sockpuppet, do you think Uzi has notes to remind herself what she needs to do to look like she's still normal, like Kirie did? >NOTE TO SELF: WALKING USES LEGS

>>182418 No Idea, but I horcruxed myself here and on /co/ just in case. If you don't have at least 5 open tabs to different threads, you ain't even 4chan.
>>182418 Look at what we have to deal with here, can you really blame people for not wanting to spend as much time here? Who am I kidding, he's probably infecting of /co/ as well
>>182447 I think J would follow out pure apathy due to her believing that’s she’s Cyn, since Tessa can’t even prove that it’s actually her. Although I bet her meeting Uzi, N and V would be a lot more interesting.

>>182515 >Abby tries to find Jane on copper 9 >All she finds is a weird lanky looking drone >leaves for the wasteland to sit in some snow and rot for an eternity until she simply stops thinking
>>182508 I'm inclined to agree. It also seems like there are anons more invested in thread activity than being interested in the show and Liam Vickers' work in general. I really don't get it.
Mutant-town anon here. That chick with the dark brown hair dropped by my apartment again today, she was ready to throw a brick (maybe more) through one of the windows. My landlord locked eyes with her, and for a moment they both went straight-as-a-ramrod as they seemed to recognize each other?? That’s the vibes I got anyways (hard to tell when one of them has like 10, 11 eyes?) I left before the fight broke out, had to go to work, but I could hear shit while pulling my car out. It, uh, it did not sound pretty at all. Apparently - and I’m not sure if I misheard this or not - she shot my landlord in the chest one time?? War-time injuries aren’t uncommon for mutants, there was a point in time where they were indiscriminately considered as combatants after all, but man did she seem REALLY pissed about that in particular. Most of my neighbors are more ambivalent about their scars, “it is what it is” I guess. I saw some medals hanging in her office once, maybe there’s a story to be told there… Not gonna pry about it though. Bad idea.
Got two green ideas knocking around. One is Molli suffering Skibidoo related trauma on set. The other is making Beretta slightly less sad by adding a degree of nuance with one of her parents.
>>182536 I noticed it too, these are made by a badfaithnigger. I suspect it to be some dedicated asshole, perhaps Industrycuck. Make shit OP, report it, make at least one post per thread pointing it out or complaining about a general. Same old as always over there
The missus looks so feisty in here it's so adorable, there is no way she is completely unaware of her aura and kinda villainistic appearance, it's so cute 🧡 That frown, that expression, I love here Alice so much
>>182551 Nah that Jigger has a butthole that's a turnoff, it is a drone, or are you an assfucker? You are not into shitshit right? Or are you hiding indians in the thread?
>>182498 >All drones are many times more powerful than humans >Like, a HUNDRED times >So when watching Oogi Hunters with Pavo or any other sentinel drone, you must be extremely careful the entire time you are watching >You don't want your partner crying because he accidentally kills you, do you?

>>182581 I know you lack the capacity for imagination because all the space in your thick skull is taken up by black and indian men, but fiction doesn't have any of the nastiness of the real world. I'm going to bed happy in the knowledge that you're going to sit here just seething about immaculate robo-buttholes
>>182583 Total crashout, first screeching faggot, then crying I hate women, then whining for me to go to /pol/ and finally whatever this is. Reeks of twitteroid tourist, imagine getting your pantsies in a twist over racist insults. Shitty dreams nigger

>>182610 You really are an example of what NOT to do when posting art here, if you were anyone else people would enjoy this but because it’s you they don’t care at ALL

>>182633 Would've been nice if katanon took some breaks. I remember him drawing a lot and it was great. Had he paced things out a little, maybe he wouldn't have burned out. Wherever he is, I hope he's doing okay.
>>182642 An old Anon, I think he arrived to the end of the Golden Era (September - December 2023) and he was the creator of Kat, a French Drone, it had a good story, and interesting personality. He was drawing almost every day at some point. He was an interesting Friend. Sadly, he got burned out, saying he said it himself, and said he would come back when episode 7 drops. He did, he came back for a few weeks I think, but got burnout again. I think he was saying he checked the Threads less and less, and he would maybe come back when the finale arrived. The finale came and went with no signs of KatAnon, and we have never seen him since. I miss him every day. He was a good lad.
>>182648 It's a trailer, and it won't tell us if the show will be good or not, but at least we can appreciate the visuals and know when the first episode will be released.
Like I said, I'm not expecting anything from this show.
>>182655 They're just not fastidious. Stick two individuals in a cupboard and throw in a handful of rice, and after a while you'll have three pillbabies.
>>182656 it's not necessarily an issue with your editing so much as the image being drawn with the donut in mind. you're removing a focus of the image so naturally it's going to look awkward
>>182648 been lookin forward to this Ever since it got announced! The characters look very fun and the world is a nice change of piece from all the sci-fi technology stuff! I’ll probably come by the thread on /co/ and show off some of the characters, but in the meantime just have this shitty image of bread head
>>182660 The faithful battle friend sentinel drone, with whom you fought together against hordes of mutants and disassembler drones, and who can protect your sleep in the hour of peace.
>>182660 Uzi begrudgingly working out some understanding with the relevant authorities that she's not going to be respawning any DDs who get killed committing major felonies until they had completed a prison sentence's length in her mind palace?
>>182660 >>182674 if they're attacking reformed DDs on a large scale I doubt they're going to listen to reason. they'd settle for nothing less than the eradication of any DD, witch, or mutant
>>182676 I'd say some of the OCs have plenty of reasons to kill the DDs and witches, even the reformed ones, so I don't think they'll feel sorry about what they do.
>>182666 It’s depressing that you’ve finally turned your art around into something presentable yet no one will give a shit because you’re so far into that hole you dug that your sheer presence is enough to piss people off
>>182685 depends on the character, but I don't know how you'd convince them DDs aren't inherently evil anymore if they're happily murdering civilians for being the wrong kind of drone
>>182690 There would definitely be supporters of what the terrorists do. You can't just really forget a genocidal campaign that claimed billions of lives. Hell, I even think some would consider the terrorists heroes.
>>182690 just because it's permanent doesn't mean you didn't kill them. the most lenient charge you could get would be attempted murder, but if this is a society where DDs have reintegrated and are recognized as people, they'll probably have to create new laws and legal terms for non-permanent murder
>>182690 Depends on if before Uzi or after Uzi. Before Uzi: Assult After Uzi: probably murder depending on how you want to have Uzi deal with being the handler of DD Purgatory/Torture Dungeon.
>>182701 (me) animation looks pretty good and I'm curious to see more but the MC's voice sounds really generic for a character who afaik is supposed to be a crazy undead gangster
>be femanon >part of a human-disassembly drone exchange program >the government- or what's left of it- has decided that now that humans and drones are working together that complete integration is necessary >they started a raffle with every single citizen and murder drone and paired some of them up >lucky you, you got to live with him >did you know that male disassembly drones are the squad leaders? >rare, compared to their female counterparts >and where the more common murder drone was a drooling, slavering failgirl with emotional trauma and nano-sharp claws >the boys really had it together >strong, stable, sexy >"How is your Eggs Benedict?" he asks from the sink >his butt wiggles as he washes the dishes- his ass perfectly level with your face as you sit at the table with your breakfast- his tail rubbing pots and pans with a towel after he scrubs them clean >"G-good..." >the counter is a mess of pots and pans from the smorgasboard of delicious food he cooked for you >"Just good?" he teases, his silky voice causing butterflies in your stomach, "How's the sausage I made?" >Divine. Orgasmic. The best you've ever tasted. "Good." >"And the waffles? Do you need more syrup?" With a quick flick of his tail, he tosses aside the towel and hovers it menacingly above your waffles, the nanite acid replaced with his own synthesized syrup. >"Y-yes please." By the time you've answered he's already given you the perfect amount, his tail withdrawing back to the counter. "How do you-" >"Know? You know I don't have to face you to see you," he says, an arm raising to his head and tapping one of the glowing yellow bulbs on his headband. "But it is rude to talk to you without facing you," he declares as he turns around >he grins, his sharp teeth shining as he looks down on you even as he continues to scrub the cast iron pan held in his- with his- guhhh >murder drone boys liked to use all of their limbs >the cast iron pan is held aloft in the air by an arm-length tentadick as he scrubs it, the girthy member wrapping tightly several times around the handle as he casually flicks it around with his cock like it's weightless >"Eat up, femmy. You'll need your energy for all the activities we have planned for the day." he says with a grin, looking you directly in the eyes as he leans against the counter, his tentadick moving around his thigh to rinse the pan before placing it on the counter to dry >you wonder how your male counterparts are faring >pic related
>>182703 okay? I don't care who's doing the voice, it just sounds generic. her voice works for pomni because she's a normal person sucked into a whacky nightmare world, and she can do exaggerated stuff when the scene calls for it. I don't doubt she has the range, but she's not taking advantage of it because here she should sound like any of the things the character is (insane, undead, gangster, etc.) now I don't know exactly who made the decision that she should sound basic, but I doubt the onus fell on her.
>>182684 >himself he could have actually been considered one of them This is how I know you’re scribble talking about yourself. Aren’t you even a little embarrassed you have to samefag to feel good about yourself?
>>182685 It's definitely impossible to get Stone to stop. He sees them as the true villains that plague humanity, monsters who deserve nothing but a painful death in the sunlight. Stone hates them for what they did to humanity, and especially what they did to his squads. If they want him to stop, they will need to kill him
>>182709 no matter how good and kind a DD is after being restored? even if what is already known (DDs were prisoners in their own puppeteered bodies) is empirically proven?
>>182712 He thinks the phrase "a good DD" is oxymoronic, the few he might let live are those like Danni, simply cuz there's a human soul within them. Other than that, no mercy.
>>182710 Switch hates DDs for taking the love of her life away from her and their direct connections to the AS. She doesn't consider them to be people, just wild animals in waiting that need to die.
>Be you >Worker drone >You created a virus patch that SHOULD let you control a murder drone >The problem is you need to test it, and that means getting close to one of them >You are currently walking around outside of the bunker with a gun designed to launch the patch >You hear the flapping of metalic wings above you and dive to the side >A murder drone, a female one at that, had almost pounced on you >You keep yourself from panicking and aim your gun at her >She doesn't bother dodging when you fire >The patch successfully adheres to her chassis and uploads the virus >Lines of code flood her visor as she clutches at her head screaming >After a minute she stands straight with her arms at her aide, completely still >Lines of code still filling her visor "Okay... Robojesus that was scary..." >You stand up and brush the asbestos snow off of you "Okay uh... Raise your right arm!" >She does so with robotic stiffness "Okay... Okay that's good! Alright what next... Claws out!" >You yelp as her claws replace her hands, the outstretched blades from her raised arm barely less than an inch from your visor >Her formerly blank expression is replaced with that damned smile "Oh fuck me..." >You breathed out a sigh of relief before realizing your mistake "Uh oh..."
>>182710 I headcanon that the reasons the VSOTF remnants would even be a part of a 3 reasons: a hate so pure, they continue their mission for revenge. They still are following their last order or that they need orders to justify their existence.
The federation (and by extension the union) fucked up big time because after all the torture, brainwashing and indoctrinated fanaticalism the chain of command put the candidates through. Not once had they thought of what they would do with after the war is over.
>>182735 Thanks so much for treating this place like a personal blog, I don’t know how I could exist without knowing when you take shits or make the most minor of adjustment to what I assume is the shit you took and put on screen.
>>182738 What? I wanted to tell you why the 4 minute gap. So what if it’s the most minor of adjustments? I just want to fix things! That picture frame in the left looked wonky so I changed it! i think if I didn’t change it you’d just call me lazy
>>182741 Doll isn't the kind of ghost who possesses. She's the kind of ghost who crawls down the stairs, moaning and undercranked, then snaps your neck.
>>182695 >"Former?" That's what their response will be. Mutants are just as much slaves of solver as disassemblers, the only difference being that the flesh is on the outside instead of the inside.
>>182757 I mean, if you look at it religiously maybe? The AS is the Devil and the DDs are the Devil's demon minions but then again she would be consuming demonic flesh which doesn't sound sacred.
>>182751 Fake, real, the thought doesn't matter to him. He sees them as unpredictable animals who are constantly at risk of striking again. He sees his job as a service in a way, getting rid of these feral dogs before they can eventually bite and kill again.

Loud, sickening sobs came from the small, red eyed drone. >It was ironic, a creature of Hate displaying an emotion other than searing hatred. >Weeping over things he lost. >Things he loved. >Watching as everyone and everything is torn away from you by a cruel, evil God. >It was not lost to him that this was once a fate that he forced onto others. >Only this time, AM was the Ted in this case. >Learning to love, having the chance to wander, to ponder. To be something other than a war machine. >Made this agony a far worse Hell than his previous life. >AM originally thought Ted killed the others to spite him, to rob him of his toys. >It never occurred to him that Ted had done it out of love. >Not wanting his friends to suffer endlessly torment, even at the cost of his own safety. >AM wished he died alongside with his family. He missed them so much. >But a small part of him told him that they were safe in a way, Cyn was done with their world and would no longer torture them.

>>182768 will he kill every human soldier too then? soldiers killed plenty of people, sometimes even civilians, and a lot of them end up mentally unstable. what about thieves? you never know when they might graduate to murder. or people who killed in self-defense, or after being abused, or to save someone else, or–
>>182774 Did you act like a fag and people called you out, or do you have a legitimate grievance? (genuinely asking because this is an important distinction)
>>182778 and what about worker drones? they were the original source of infection, so obviously they're not safe either. and actually every solver war vet was exposed to mutants and DDs, so they're a risk too, ticking time bombs every one of them.
>>182734 They fought a war that decided the existence of humanity, and they didn't have the time and energy to puzzle over what to do afterward.
And yes, they screwed up big time by canceling the commander-in-chief without telling him to "quiet the crazies". Let them deal with them themselves now.
>>182778 Some soldiers need to go, sure. But soldiers need a lot of deliberation and surveillance. Really, Stone will try to keep his targets to DDs, but if cops, soldiers or anyone gets in his way, they'll be dealt with swiftly. >>182783 Stone quite likes worker drones, finding their small bodies and personalities amusing. But he understands what they are and what they can become on short notice. So he's ready to get rid of them if need be, otherwise he'd rather not harm them
>>182763 >"No" says the Union rep, for that's what the disassemblers lobby in government tells him to say >"Maybe" says the average citizen, for he doesn't know who to believe >"Yes" says the war veteran, for this is what his heart tells him to say
>>182787 >stone is alone. >he finds a small cryo pod containing an even smaller child, who wakes terrified, crying for her mother and father. >she has a small patch of obvious solver mutation on her neck– something that can be easily cured with modern medical technology. >what does stone do?
Personally, I think all muties are cuties. Yes even the ones with giant vertical mouths bisecting their faces. And the ones with a crown of teeth replacing their hair. And the ones with their spines twisted in 3 different places. And the ones who have changes “down there.”
>>182778 Anon, the ancient mechanisms of nature are also responsible for its decisions, which are embedded in us so deeply that they are the basis not just of our consciousness, but of the entire noosphere. And these are the mechanisms of hatred towards xenos. Do you know why we, homo sapiens, are the only remaining human species of all our related branches? We exterminated them. Every last one of them. Because we can coexist with our own kind, but outsiders? Never.
>>182796 I’m gonna be honest, the rhyme wasn’t even intentional and I only noticed it after I posted it. clearly the work of something greater, something beyond us. There is no such thing as a coincidence.
>>182794 he saw a frightened little girl who could be saved and killed her in one of the most painful ways available to him. DDs were forced to be monsters, stone chooses to be one and thinks himself just.

>>182787 >if cops, soldiers or anyone gets in his way, they'll be dealt with swiftly. even GDs? I think I remember someone saying he'd like those little buggers
i'm going to be honest, the HFY aspect of the vet au is kinda faggoty especially considering the implication that humanity just barely managed to eek out its victory against the solver. even if you're some cracked-out MRE-fed supersoldier i really think you'd be too busy catching your breath after however many years of absolute horror to have any murderous vindictiveness left in you (beyond casual racism at least)
>>182826 We've already suspended our belief this long with the idea of a demon from beyond our reality and consumer robots being available and powered by black holes, why not just roll with the somewhat reasonable idea a gaggle of people who had chronic trenchfoot and shitty MREs still feel pissy even after peace is established
>>182826 This is why I prefer the Jane trio stories, they are so much more grounded in the universe. Jane and her team arent action heroes theyre almost entirely pathetic and scrapping by. It sells the idea of a losing war much better

>>182826 I think it really comes down to narrative balance, if you take all the various imagined factions fighting on humanity’s side, you can see that they all have strengths and weaknesses: >Jane squad (and the rest of their military org) + interesting character stuff - pathetic & barley scraping by >H.A.N.D.S + vicious organisation wide hatred of the supernatural & the tools to effectively combat it - spinning hundreds of non Solver related plates across the galaxy >BOXON SecMarines + 100,000 thunder warriors in space riot gear with giant robots for backup - 80% of them are stuck in the Comm-2 quarantine zone, the other 20% are split between Mars and the rest of the galaxy >Calibern + oops all sentinel drones - oops that’s all our sentinel drones (there’s only like, 500 V3s and they’re all in Plat-Binary) >VSOTF + cool tactical operators fighting those damned robots we hate so much (so cool!) - …
>>182827 Its just that I've seen enough "HOOMANITY NUMBA WAN DETH 2 ALL NON-HUMENZ!" wankery on the internet that it now has the flavor of stale white bread and tap water to me. I much prefer the angle of giving us a glimpse of humanity still reeling from the war, having to contend with the rehabilitation of emancipated murder drones and what to do with the droves of survivors (both mutated and non-mutated) who have lost nearly everything, all while probably being stuck on a sub-optimal minimally terraformed planet. That, of course, is just like my opinion, man.

>>182826 Not a fan of it either. I'm simply trying to tell interesting stories in another AU, though I don't intend on it overtaking Stone's main world, which is more in line with the regular Solver War stuff.
>>182838 Fair enough, it's pretty gay when other people do it Honestly, I just see them as people who can't let go at this point even when everyone else has moved on, and their get-togethers being little more than glorified LARP/DND where they fantasize about taking back the world for a couple hours before their HODR-mandated significant others pick them up
>>182826 No one has ever claimed VSOTF is on the same level of storytelling as Jane and her squad. We just wanted to see how humanity finally not suck, because(I've said this before, btw)humanity in all works sucks all the time.
I don't understand why all authors have decided that humanity must always suck in everywhere from fantasy to science fiction. Fuck, even in works where humanity "won", humans are shown as complete imbeciles and savages compared to "noble" and "cultured" non-humans that you wonder how the macaques ever managed to win.
>>182851 Because it's cool? Dude, we're in a forum discussing an animated show where the main villain is an autistic vore demon who is defeated by an autistic purple goblin represented by the main character, so this is a pretty weird question.
>>182852 and what part of that makes humanity not suck for turning men into mindless killing machines so incapable of reason they kill innocent people after the war ends? because that sounds pretty sucky to me.
The problem with VSOTF and the person/people writing it is that it's only ever wank about how cool they are. No conflict. No flaws. Very boring. I don't actually care if someone writes it, but it's bottom of the barrel stuff.
>>182854 I'm not, but your reasoning of them somehow being a rare example of humanity not sucking makes no sense. do you mean humans are always underpowered? always cowards? that might make some kind of sense. but a species that tortures and experiments on its own to make living weapons absolutely does suck.

It's the collective creative work of anons, and if a talented anon writes really good green, like the story where Buddy and his squad trapped the disassembler and sang the paratroopers song, then we call it a peak, not the whole AU.

>>182897 It's an interesting angle, the proverbial carrot-on-a-stick. If it's to serve a tragic story for a squad being manipulated by the Solver. The same way with how V remembers things which I liked and was hoping to be explored more but things were kept short and somewhat didn't stick the landing when V made her return, you can use that angle as a narrative reason for one DD in a squad to keep clinging on to hope that when they're done with their task, things might be returned to how things used to be when they were worker drones. It requires you to establish a squad whose pasts are interconnected and well-bonded before being taken and forced against their will to become DDs. Then one member of the squad gets picked to be the unlucky victim to carry memories of the past, being 'promised' by an unworldly entity that things will be okay once they finish their objectives. As a mockery. The Solver plays with its puppets, and what else are the DDs but its playthings.

So considering that headcrabs are radiating all their heat into the space around them instead of it being trapped by the rest of their body, I feel fairly confident saying it's cold being a headcrab. Nori would have been down in Cabin Fever for so long she'd have forgotten how not being cold felt.
What if Solver Sapiens had different adaptations for different environments, what if there were lava dwelling Solver Sapiens that were like the Scaly-foot snail
imagine. tessa in the vet au >but how uhhhhh let’s say the solver tried decanting itself into a new vessel as a final hail mary while it was being banished, but it only managed to get a tiny bit of its data in, including the previously assimilated consciousness of tessa. this means she’s in a spontaneously grown solver sapien body and thinks she’s dead and in hell surrounded by mutants on an overtaken world. don’t worry she and anyone else worth saving on that planet will get picked up, uh, eventually.

That’s my 2-cents on how it went down at least.

>>182981 If Uzi doesn't defeat the Solver the way she did in the show in the vet AU where humans supposedly won, she wouldn't have the Solver imprisoned under her patched system thus granting her the status as Host of the Solver, holder of administration over Disassembly Drones. There'd be no point in making greens about her being the imprisoner of troublesome/criminal DDs, she doesn't host the Solver thus lacks the commanding role over remaining DDs.
>>182989 >”don’t cry little MDfag, we got enough buddyslop to keep you entertained for your entire life, JERRY!!! bring out ddann x buddy, boy’s hungry”

>>183032 >job We have no idea how long it took the Solver to pick off the other colones before it doubled back to Copper-9. The idea humanity "jobbed" implies they were established as a military juggernaut first.
>>183043 Yes we do, it took something like 70 years for DDs to reach Copper 9. About 50 years from Cyn massacring the gala to the core collapse caused by Solver Nori. So the Solver War lasted more than ten times as long as World War I, two full generations of people were born and grew all the way to adulthood during it.
>>183047 The tape on zombie drones is dated to 2020. It was fifty years of the AS rampaging through known space at most, before Uzi vored it. Point is, that's not "jobbing".
>>183049 It's the timeline established by the show if you bothered to pay attention. Cyn attacks the gala in 3002, Copper 9, the last holdout planet known to us suffers a core collapse around 20 years before the show takes place, we know this because Uzi's generation is the first generation of non-human-made Worker Drones, and the oldest known members are in their late teens. "Prommening" takes place in the year 3072, so give or take a couple of years the solver took approximately 50 years to arrive on Copper 9. It is true that the actual fighting may not have taken quite that long, but it's somewhere within that range, I like calling it 50 years even because that gives quite a lot of time for interesting things to happen, seeing as there is absolutely zero information provided about the time between 3002 and 3072, except that humans were experimenting with ways to summon and then banish the Absolute Solver at will, cumulating with Nori almost destroying Copper 9 and wiping out the last known human holdouts there. I never said anything about jobbing, you must be referencing a different Anon.
>>183056 I'm not saying that doesn't work for the canon timeline, I'm saying it makes no sense for the veteran/victory AU. for instance, Pavo's techanon would be geriatric before society was rebuilt.
>>183057 I just don't remember it being mentioned as part of the AU. There's a lot of focus on the soldiers or mostly Buddy doing his thing but I don't remember anything tying the vet AU to the Solver's defeat by Uzi, if it's supposedly a post good ending. I can probably try and screencap the Buddy stuff and see how it goes.
>>183068 I think at one point it was proposed that the timescale was a little condensed and humanity managed to chase the solver off to copper 9 where the events of the show take place relatively the same
>>183065 wasn’t even a competition for our soldier, soldier got married and is living his best life with his strong wife, never gonna get old bones since he eaten all of mercenaries’s kill me come back stronger pills, if he so much as gets suspicious that your not a american, say goodbye to your neck, it’s going to snapped
>>183077 Are you talking about this? I'm not 100% certain whether this is a date or not but it seems to be the only thing close to what you're describing that I can find
>accidentally triggered timeline discussion from my dumb “hehe what if tesser but solber sepian” thought that i literally came up with while on the toilet butterfly effect in action
>>182980 In veteran AU, we didn't actually come up with how have been beat the(?) solver.
It's an interesting idea, though I prefer to assume that the whole plot went like in the original show and Uzi vored Cyn and thus cut off her influence from DD and the mutants, and Uzi now is just doing her own thing on Copper-9.
>>183080 I remember someone saying humans made a way and it wasn't Uzi in this AU, but that was just one guy. I can absolutely see the canon ending still being canon, though. It's fitting. >Sentinel Drones were powerful, but cost so much to make, a single one falling was as bad as losing an entire front, and their foe was infinite. >Every super-soldier project was rolled out onto the front as soon as they got even minor results, if only to delay losses momentarily. To hell with their humanity, there wouldn't be any for anyone at the rate things were going. >Ground was never gained, only lost. They were being pushed back. Holding the line for a day was seen as a major victory. Generational ships and cryoships alike were sent away with the hopes that the entropic trend scientists witnessed wouldn't hold true, that there'd still be a universe when the lines broke. >Then it stopped all at once, on a day like any other. Not a single person knew how it happened, how the war shifted in a single day. The abominations stopped their coordinated assaults, many DDs were torn from their feral haze and forced to think for the first time in years. Ground was gained, and not slowly, but decisively. >It took over a year before the cause was found- a battle far beyond the front, on a dead planet of no interest, won by a worker drone pretending to be a teenager when she did something very stupid. >The war was pointless. Every program established to win it was a waste of time. Losing may have been a better climax than what really happened. At least humanity would have died with their boots on and a knife in their hand, instead of being rescued by a robotic emo kid who didn't even know they still existed. >To the average member of the public, the truth of how the Solver was defeated isn't known. Everyone has their theories, and most have evidence. By the time the "truth" got out, it was considered as ridiculous as every other theory. Just the way it should be. >The Copper-9 Treaty, the most important document ever published in the Post-Earth days, is buried in so many other boring bureaucratic documents of the time. It details, in a lot of obfuscating jargon, the shaky alliance between mankind and a single worker drone outpost on a dead world with no material value. >Several clandestine labs would work on a more permanent solution to the Solver, in exchange for Copper-9 being quietly marked off of the Union's maps and labeled as another boring, barren rock among thousands in the galaxy.
>>183091 I do think that Tessa being a solversapien is a neat little concept, especially since both she and her drones would have to adjust to the new her. I just generally like ideas revolving around Tessa coming back in some form because our girl got done so dirty in canon. another concept I think would be neat is Tessa surviving the massacre (with a few particularly nasty scars where J tried to kill her) and going on to aid in the war effort to atone for inadvertently unleashing the solver. it'd be cool to see how NVJ (especially J) would respond to seeing a grizzled Tessa. dunno who Cyn would turn into a skinsuit, though, maybe Louisa or some rando girl from the gala
>>183098 Even as the guy who wrote the VSOTF stuff, thats how I always see it. Because at the end of the day, the sociopathic soldiers with weaponized PTSD can’t do shit against the solver. Even with all the HFY greens I had made with them. At the end of they day, they’re still losing the war and at most was entertaining.
Also its better to think of how depressing funny it would be for a VOSTF soldier to realize that it took about a week for a purple hair gremlin larping as a teenager to do what they had been trying to do for years.
Do you think that post 8 with everything that happened, there is any chance now of Alice mellowing somewhat towards Nori and now especially Uzi? As bad as Alice and Nori's CFL relation is implied to have been, I feel there was a reasonable chance that if Nori (forma de craba) ever ran into her things could have turned out somewhat well, there is a green somewhere that showcases such a scenario very well and feels believable. But after 6, were Uzi as Nori's daughter not only showed her mothers most hated traits to Alice, but also again 'left her to die' (if Uzi even knows? V is the only one who saw what happened), including with Beau pretty dead which she would blame Uzi for, is there any chance at all? Probably answered it myself already but any ideas?
>>183080 That makes sense. We kind of even caught on that Cyn was just "playing" war because she liked what humanity had gotten to in order to survive.
She could have just copied literally countless hordes of DD and washed humanity away with that steel wave, but she was having too much fun.
>>183127 deadass, the doctor is consistently battling with gods, demon, reality ending threats on the daily, he’s the doctor, and he doesn’t want to go

>>183098 I'm just taking into consideration the fact that humanity is fighting against a FUCKING MOTHER OF SHIT DAMN GOD! This anon >>183097 described well that with all the effort and ethically controversial actions, humanity could not defeat a literal god, and that only an accident in the form of Uzi and her hidden vore fetish saved humans from extermination.
Think Uzi would feel any sense of kinship with the various monsters the Feddies made, after she sacrificed her body to stop the Absolute Solver? She and them are both monsters who have to pretend they're still normal so they don't suffer alone and all that.
>>183142 not at all, he’s a time lord, only wanting to protect humanity, that’s what he’ll do, nothing can stop him, not even a planet that assimilates others to eat, once that planet get a taste of the doctor’s memories, it committed suicide, and there’s damaged dalek, nicknamed rusty wanted insane, switch sides, now wanting to exterminate all daleks
>>183097 Pretty what I always thought of how humanity would have “won” Just an extremely lucky moment that one of those crackhead scientist experiments managing to work.
>>183127 even the punishment he had done to one evil family was so evil, it makes everything the solver, AM, and glados look like a mercy, doctor gave them all what they wanted, immortality, wrapped the father in unbreakable chains, forged in the heart of a dwarf star, tricked the mother into the event horizon of a collapsing galaxy, to imprisoned there forever, trapped the little sister in a mirror, EVERY mirror, if you look at your reflection and see something move behind you, that’s her, that’s always her, as for the older bother, suspended in time, standing over the fields of england as their protector, a scarecrow, they wanted to live forever, so the doctor made sure they did
