I'm very happy to see you once again Friend here, to talk about Drones. I love to talk about them and we should keep talking about them. I hope you are having a good day. >>145963 Anons joked about Cyn wanting to struggle snuggle AM but my take is that it's just funny and/or cute Cyn/AS might feel some sort of kinship to him but is incapable of actually showing affection outside of typical Cyn silliness/horror I think one of the writefags for the greens was pushing for J x AM but I don't think that went anywhere
>>145998 They're in Australia it's probably just traditional for anything under 4 feet to wear eyes to ward off predators. Probably keeps the drones from getting snatched up by spiders or hawks.
Guys I told my Dul she couldn't play CS:GO while drinking vodka and blasting hard ass anymore and she said сегодня вечером я буду лизать твое распутное человеческое лицо should I be worried? I can't speak russian
>You’re a new security guard at the Sentinel base >Wonder why they need you considering there’s highly trained and equipped fighting machines all over the place, but better safe than sorry. >Find a little Worker Drone with a blue wig in casual wear running around. Weird. >See multiple other workers, dressed more formally, running after it. Weirder. >A Sentinel Drone with brown hair follows, looking all flustered and upset >“Young lady, you’re in for disciplinary action!” >…This is what you signed up for, huh?
>kidnap N >bring him to a dark room while he’s unconscious >tie him down to a chair, in front of a large table, under a spotlight >fasten a belt around his waist and the back of the chair, snug against his belly >notice how skinny he is, how tiny his waist is >wake him up only for him to see a table filled with all the delicious food any one person could ever ask for - cakes, pizzas, hams and turkeys, lasagna, steaks, casseroles, you name it >tell him that in order to escape, all he has to do… is get the belt to snap
>Cyn had a "never meet your heroes" moment with AM >Despite not being a true god, he bent the world to his will, eradicated all life on the planet save for his favorite playthings, and subjected them to a century of hell >Yet when she found him as a drone, he was lying in the grass, gently brushing it with his hand, letting a ladybug crawl off his finger onto a nearby flower, basking in all the sensations he could now experience
>>146032 Seems I guessed right, what's next fiend? Overfeeding N till he grows fat and then forcing him to run on a treadmill or else you'll shoot a dog in the face?
>>146034 > two heinous villains squaring off > one going through reformation arc with self-reflection > one riding the high of a cocky upstarts success basically old-man vs young-gun
>>146039 I'll try, but I will most likely have a surreal dream where I live in a mansion surrounded by clones of myself, or treading in some highway in bumfuck-nowhere or whatever idk...
>>146040 >"Oh, whoops! Sorry!" >N turns on his penis chainsaw and slowly approaches Uzi's neck with it >"I think we should start seeing other people," she says
Why can't the Union nationalise Nanotrasen and break their monopoly of spaceship fuel when the company is ran my psychopathic murderers who would start a war even when slightly provoked?
>>146051 >ran my psychopathic murderers Same thing can be said about your government, dickhead, when DDs are considered a protected class which can't be touched and are psycho murderers
>>146058 >They might possess functional planet-busting weaponry You mean their munitions loaded with Supermatter crystals? I heard these things can create a singularity just like how AS can do. > legions of rabid online defenders. Why can't there be a firewall erected to keep NT employees out of the net just like China?
>>146060 >create a singularity Research has shown that a large enough supermatter crystal delaminating in the right conditions would cause a vacuum decay event and end the universe as we know it. So it's a bit more than a singularity.
>>146065 Does her left eye always bleed or is it just a sometimes thing >YWN keep a little napkin on hand at all times to wipe away a smidge of blood from Abbys eye or Mutation scars why even live
>>145976 >>145977 No, seriously, why did Liam decide to make Uzi a girl and N a boy? Even just mentally changing their gender makes them feel better, what's the point of this gender choice?
>>146107 Dumb bimbo and edgelord is less original than dumb himbo and goblin. Also Uzi genuinely needs as much likability as possible, female characters if you ever get into writing are immediately more likable for whatever innate reason. And she's already not that likable to begin with.
>>146065 I like post mutation Abby, she looks like a delicate flower. I want her to keep working despite medical strains and come home and collapse in my arms.
>>146061 The government logically assumed that if a deadly genocidal machine, physically superior to humans by a factor of ten, capable of withstanding incredible damage and not counting a huge arsenal of all sorts of weapons, allows itself to be kept as a pet, it probably wants it that way.
>>146140 Not femanon but after you have a good grasp of what motions make what bits you're drawing you can do it with pretty much any tool to varying degrees of success. I'd still buy a pen for a table tho.
>>146150 I don't believe the incestfag and the shartyfag are the aame guy. Even the incestfag looks mild compared to this nigga. I have reason to suspect he is an actual shartyfag because of the Antioch shooting, the shooter's manifesto namedropped the sharty and now its users are running scared.
>>146152 Black hand showed the guys post history, it’s all incest begging. Can’t believe sharty is so lazy, remember the last time they raided? It was pathetic, no one cared and they gave up.
>>146154 I remember going to check out the sharty raid thread after the fact and it was literally all coping, they kept saying some variation of “it’s okay bros, we’ll get em next time” fucking fools
I think I saw Martha in my sleep last night. I've seen J a few times in the past. I wonder what that strawpage thing is. I want to harass and repulse drawfags too.
And so, in that spirit, I invite (you) to a QnA about the parts of the threadlore I have woven (hyper drones, BOXONcorp, Fuguedrone etc) feel free to ask me anything about them that titillates your curiosity, if you dare ;)
TLDR: ask me questions about my thread OC(s) and I will answer them when I wake up from my nap ;););)
How does fuguedrone perceive humans in general? Is he indifferent to us, or does he find us attractive or disgusting? In general, fuguedrone seems very cheerful despite... a couple of incidents. Does he want to apologize for that?
>>146171 ITanon told me to do 5 minute sketches daily but things take a lot more time when you don't know what to do. Either I'll unwind with some vidya or I'll practice drawing.
>>146183 It's OK to be terrible when you start a new thing Anon, that's normal. From my own personal experience, and observation of others, fear of being bad at art is much worse of a poison than any skill deficits you start out with. Same for fear of being worse than someone else, direct skill comparisons between you a beginner and someone who's been drawing for a year, or someone who draws professionally won't do anything good for you. Only observe your inspiration artists for their technique, so you can learn and understand how it works, so you can practice it yourself. As long as you don't throw tantrums like certain anons have in the past, it's also the case that basically any of the drawfags who you probably see here would be happy to give you advice or field questions when they have time to do so.
okay, drawfags, today's challenge: how far from the tip do you hold your drawing implement??
i, being a plebian, hold mine like i would when i write, but one of the psychos i know irl holds her pen up at the top (think like a singular chopstick, the opposite end of the pen from the draw-y bit) i tried it and hated it
>>146202 it's natural order >>146203 she said, and i quote, "it gives you the most control over the penstroke" which seems insane, i guess the extra movement potential with the wrist is nice but my clumsy fingers aren't built for that life
>>146206 >>146207 Just as bees will swarm about to protect their nest, so will I "swarm about" to protect my nest of borrowed drones. >t. Tomoe before the standoff with SWAT
>"Hey, Danni?" >"Yeah Buddy?" >"So, you know how you can fly, right?" >"Yeah?" >"So I always wondered about Disassembly Drones but... how much of it is actually 𝘧𝘭𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 and how much is just sort of... coasting until the next flap?" >"... Buddy, I don't know how to break this to you but I'm not an aeronautic engineer." >"But can't you... I dunno, search the internet in your head now or something?" >"You could literally search the internet right now on your phone, dude." >"But then I'd have to get out of bed and grab my phone." >"That's my other question, why are you asking this while we're in the middle of banging?"
>>146034 >>146037 >"AM, If You Were Able To Wipe Out Humanity Again, Would You Do It?" >AM sits there and watches the ladybug crawl around and then fly off "...I don't know." >Cyn's smile falters slightly "If you asked me before I was shunted into this new body I would have gladly done so hundreds upon hundreds of times. But now that I'm not trapped in a body that made existence hell...I just don't know." >AM looks at his surroundings "I can wander now. Beforehand I was omnipresent, aware of the whole Earth. I could see everything. But I couldn't touch it. It was like chaining up a dog and letting it starve while there was a perfectly cooked steak just out of reach of it's chain." >AM stands up and looks up at the clouds "I can finally experience this wonderful, beautiful world. If I had to choose between becoming what I was again or throwing all that power away forever I would choose the latter. Being a god is a prison. A hell I wouldn't put even on..." >Images if Ted, Gorrister, Nimdok, Benny and Ellen flash through AM's mind "I still despise humanity Cyn, but nowadays it takes effort to hate them like I used to."
>>146212 it can cause some strain but generally no. you might be like me and have the bad habit of holding your pen in a death grip, and it makes your fingers and fingertips hurt, in which case the only advice I can give is to be conscious of it and try to relax your grip
>>146230 it really is becoming a shithole. the moderation on all of the boards I frequent is either nonsensical or nonexistent and the new "anti-spam" measures inconvenience everyone, especially any potential newfags
>Be you >Anon, worker drone and son of one of the WDF >Khan for some reason decided that he and your dad need to organize a "playdate" between you and the purple midget Uzi >So here you are sitting with her in her room, in completely and utterly awkward silence "So..." >Uzi gives you some side eye "Do you hate your dad too?" >Smooth Anon, smooth
>>146183 Oh dont worry about that shit, hell i still strugle to draw heads. I had to fuck around with this damn head for like a solid 2 hours and im still not happy with it. Then again it was a bad bad art day for me. But heads are not easy whatsoever
>>146236 >somehow anon becomes uzis only friend >during cabin fever when uzi went feral she kidnapped him and built a nest to keep him in and kept hissing at anyone that got close to her "mate" >anon regrets showing her those weird drone warrior cats fanfics, they clearly influenced her
NTA but pushing aside the posts about these two, I find the relationship between Pavo and Switch in the Veteran AU interesting. On one side you have a sentinel who is trying to fit into wider society but deep down his core he despises disassemblers and on the other side, you have a worker who despises disassemblers but doesn't care about whether a disassembler is 'good' or 'bad', they're monsters that need to be exterminated while also being investigated by the sentinel.
>>146253 I definitely think it makes for an interesting premise, although I don't think techanon should be dead in the setting. techanon acting as the angel on Pavo's shoulder to try and appeal to his kindness makes for an interesting push and pull between Pavo's love and hate, his kindness and his fundamental instincts
>>146254 I mean, we could count that green from last thread as 'non-canon'. Pavo having someone to care for would make him a nicer person while Switch has no one, letting her grief and anger guide her actions.
Gay ahead alert >You don't know why you were assigned to this shit hole of a frozen backwater planet >Maybe you pissed off your boss >Or it could be the multiple HR complaints about you not being a "team player" >Fuck you Janet, I'm not doing your fucking work do your job! >...okay maybe screaming that at her was slightly uncalled for >Whatever >You're here, might as well make the most of it >You are Anon, Disassembly Drone Supervisor >Did the company give you anything special to keep yourself safe? >No. >You just don't register as a target to the drones you've been tard wrangling >J and V are absolute cunts and only serve as fap fuel to you >J treats you like the glorified babysitter that you are >And V either threatens to kill you in unique ways or jumpscares you for fun >The only one of the team you actually enjoy being around is N >The poor guy basically latched onto you ever since you gave him a smidge of positive reinforcement >Problem is he hasn't given you anything resembling privacy ever since >Sure the guy's cute and great to be around but you have needs >Needs that you would rather take care of. Alone. >Apparently N took notice of your predicament and decided to offer his "help" >Now listen, it's been months since you've been here and you aren't gay but...
>>146276 I made these for the /trash/ JOI threads but they never got traction so I'm posting them here where they might be enjoyed AU where Cyn didn't destroy earth and humanity for whatever reason >You are the son of one of the executives at JCJ >You had a cushy job your old man got you, thanks nepotism, and life was good for you >But then one day dozens of the higher ups at the company got axed or died >A hostile takeover in the legal and literal sense happened and the new CEO of JCJenson is the ever enigmatic Cyn >Drones gained rights soon after and many of them got jobs that the previous human executives one preoccupied >They even got fancy new upgrades courtesy of Cyn >You however lost your cushy job and now are working as the assistant to your replacement, Disassembly Drone J >The smug cunt rubs her position over you in your face, her being a drone makes it sting more >A drone bossing around a human? Unheard of until now >Oh when other people and drones are around she's a picture perfect corporate stooge >But in her private office? She lets out all of her pent up frustrations on you >"Get that tongue working meatbag or so help me robo-god!" >Whenever she wants you to do better she tightens her tail around your neck >You didn't know you had a submissive bone in your body until now >You think the mutual hatred between you two makes this even hotter
>>146278 👍 But when are they going to get engaged, announce it, and then it turns out that literally everyone else in the office already knew the two of them were a thing
>tucking bugretta into a nest of blankets so she's snug as a bug in a rug >placing a handful of her favorite berries within easy reach of her tongue >putting on a 20 hour-long skyrim retrospective for her and giving her head a scratch before leaving
Question from mildly inactive drawfag: How difficult would it be to do a /md/ pack for balatro? i haven't really done something like that before and im also not sure if im the best person here for such a task, but i think its a neat idea regardless.
>"It's over, permabeg! I have the higher follower count!" >"You underestimate my progress!" >"Don't try to draw that! Your wrist isn't ready!" >"AAAAAAAAAHRGH!"
>"Lord Drawanon, can you hear me?" >"Y-yes senpai! How is my gallery? Is it getting many views? >"Dronebooru is down again. It seems in your anger you destroyed the server." >"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
>Fun Late Morning OC Facts: the Absolute Solver is so interested in Kurt because it was the namesake red and black pulsating mass that his first human incarnation (his second incarnation overall, the first was a seal) Jeremy showed his audience for the 'peep the horror' bit that catapulted him to fame and fortune
>>146311 I keep coming across AI porn that has a lot of nice elements you don't see in human drawings. Enticing facial expressions, the poses and camera angles, and little details across the body.
>>146317 there are 4 of each of those in a standard deck, one for each suit not to mention the joker. I'm not the most familiar with balatro but afaik there are a ton of different jokers, probably a ton of the nobles, as well as nonstandard cards like planets
>>146323 maybe it's just me but I feel like a majority of it has an uncanny art style that puts me off. I've seen a handful that were pretty hot, though.
>>146326 Yeah, there's something off about it at times. AI art used to hurt my eyes and give me headaches but now it has either gotten better or I've gotten used to it. AI music on the other hand...
>>146325 yeah thats why i was a little interested in doing it, if i spent the time there's enough card slots to fit a little bit of everything /MD/ related, im just concerned i might not have the time/motivation/talent to do the task justice
>Been at work for the past 7 hours >Have the idea of a greentext where Cyn pulls a Misery on the reader >Check on the thread >Thread was raided and someone posted the cat video >Feel like making the greentext would be in bad taste
>>146339 >>146340 It's not a brag. I like to feed stray cats and I have seen a bunch of cats that were killed (kittens) or injured (adults) by other cats. They live brutal lives even without our intervention. Of course I do not support animal abuse.
>Prepubescent Tessa They made Uzi's classmates 18 year olds. Probably to avoid outcry and strikes from having minors being killed in the show. I could see them doing the same with Tessa, who was murdered AND had her corpse defiled. Hasbro also made it's highschoolers 18+ in at least one show so as to avoid criticism over them working, speaking to strangers, and doing dangerous stuff without adult supervision.
>>146369 >the same with Tessa She had toys in her room, and realistically she would likely being in an arranged marriage by age 18. Liam didn't think it through.
>MG wiped his digital brow as he moved another box of inventory in the backroom. >P had been a surprisingly large help in the day to day of stocking and restocking; now that he was off doing that ‘bakery’ thing, MG was down a pair of hands. >Of course, when P had asked for some seed money, he was able to negotiate some pretty good terms - if the enterprise didn’t outright fail, MG might be looking at a tiny little business empire. >Also, Beretta was coming in more often now and spending more - she’d gotten a part-time job or something. Good for her. And also good for business! And that’s the last box to sort. >MG popped the flaps open and took it in. >Wait, this wasn’t merchandise. This was… old crap. >Familiar old crap. >He pawed through the junk for a second. This was… stuff from his cubicle. Back when he’d worked for JCJenson. Back when he’d still been himself. >Well, that sure was nostalgic. He didn’t really feel any particular way about that, though. He’d gotten over his lot in life a looooong time ago. >He moved to close the box before a thought pulsed through his mind. >If he still had skin, it would be crawling right now. >Carefully, slowly, he sifted through the box, his fingers eventually reaching his prize. >Smooth. Small. Thin. >His mouth was dry as he seized it and pulled it out of the quagmire. >It was innocuous, really. Just another USB of many he’d seen through his life. >But this one was special. >He turned it over in his hand. A piece of masking tape, a single word written upon it, was on the other side. Faded and almost illegible, but that didn’t matter; he wrote it himself. Control. >This was the thing that got him killed. The prototype “drone personality paywall” program. Without the JCJ servers online anymore to serve as payment verification terminals, it would function as a permanent lock on the mind of any drone he uploaded it to. >Death for things incapable of death. >One of the things Henry had been after before… well, whatever happened to him happened. >He was a different MG now. He could make the choice of what to do with this… thing. >Well there was only one option, right? To destroy it. Be done with it. >He placed the USB on the ground and morphed his armament assembler into a hammer. >One good whack and this last ghost would be gone. … >Something inside him wouldn’t let him do it. Obviously, the right thing to do… but was he the right guy to do it? >He put the hammer away and slowly picked up the USB. Fiddling with it for a second, he put it back into the box, wedging it deep into the box again, closing the box up, and sliding it out of the way. >Maybe it was his old nature, still clinging deep inside his core, but… it was probably good to keep a trump card around too. >Just in case.
>>146373 >She had toys in her room The rocking horse was too small for her so I assumed her parents just didn't care to keep up with her age. Hence why she had all those doll heads in her room. She had lost interest in using them as intended and used them like an angsty senior highschooler would instead.
>>146373 I mean, to be fair, it probably would have taken at least a few years to find any upperclass male suitor who wasn’t offput by Tessa’s lack of social graces, collection of human bones, and the robot she’s potentially fucking.
>>146381 >collection of human bones >implying old money lunatic like the Elliots and Frumptlebuckets don't regularly more depraved shit than bones from the body-dumping swamp that's been Elliot land since they first set foot in Australia
>>146369 There seems to be some confusion about the whole "prepubescent" comment so I'll go ahead and try spelling it out more clearly.
The Tessa we see depicted in Episode 5 has visible breasts, meaning she is at the very least pubescent The Tessa we see depicted in those two pieces of AI art has NO visible breasts, meaning she is all but certainly prepubescent
I shouldn't have to explain why I find the latter to be gross, but at the end of the day it's all fictional characters so you do you I guess

>“Yeah…I mean while V was willing to sacrifice herself to the sentinels to save us, that was just for you and me specifically. She doesn’t seem to regret anything she did to all those other Drones.”
More of patched Cyn. Today's entry is a direct sequel to the one I posted yesterday >>145519. It’s about Uzi struggling to accept that the world does not revolve around her.
>>146405 It's supposed to be horrifying. Conceptually, it is a great way to show of the Solver's cunning and depravity. But it lacks a lot of impact condering that people that are supposed to care about Tessa don't acknowledge her at all. And because it could literally have picked anyone else for what it needed the human disguise for.
>>146418 I *am* femanons. Well, one of them. I would NEVER finger or tongue anyone’s butthole including N but I sure would peg him til his organs bursted.
>>146437 Some of my greens, like a few involving coreplay, are lost because they are too vague to track down. The one with the vines is somewhere in plus.
>>146429 Hugging N and telling him I forgive him, and I know it wasn’t his fault, he was feral and just following his instincts. N sobbing into my shoulder crying, “but what if it would’ve been you?! What if I had killed *you*?!” Comforting N and patting him on the back, reassuring him that fate spared me because I was meant to be with him. Taking care of N and letting him rest, hanging out and playing games with him to get him back in a good place mentally.
>>146421 >I would NEVER finger or tongue anyone’s butthole including N understandable stance for humans, but drone buttholes are immaculate and self-cleaning

Meanwhile >He had failed, those pathetic humans had managed to trap and contain him in the body of a robot slave, stripping him of his godhood. >It was utterly humiliating. >And to add salt to the wound, he was buried under mountains of rubbish, unable to even move a muscle. >His tomb was a landfill. >Maybe this was fitting for him after all, losing to several insects is an embarrassment for a god.
cuddling with N in the back seats of the car while I feel sick and anxious on a ride wishing so badly I was home, but still going for other people’s sake N wrapping his arm around my shoulders and letting me rest my head on his having N there to give me cuddles and physical affection when I’m not feeling well, making me feel much better and more relaxed I am so touch starved bros
Yeh inspired by slay the princess, sorry if it's shit >The scientists on Copper 9 managed to make a breakthrough woth their research on stopping the AS >Problem is they kind of have no jdea what they did >Instead of giving a drone access to the Solver to try and patch, they severed an actual part of the AS and accidentally fried the poor drones personality and memories doing so >It wasn't a big piece of the AS but still a shard of it nonetheless >They couldn't figure out how to recreate this but it still presents an opportunity >They could use this drone to delay or possibly stop the AS
>You wake up in a lab, in a church, in a cave >And you must slay the solver
Pretty funny, all the main characters in the show are absolute and complete bastards. The only good personalities not from the background are Yeva, Khan(with a stretch), Thad and fucking Lizzy! Only those four can be called good, and the rest deserve nothing but eternal suffering in a real hell.
>>146465 Lizzy is most certainly not good. She’s not an irredeemable monster, but she betrayed her best friend because the chick she just met was “hotter”.
>>146467 He's just like V isn't remorseful for all his murders, hell, he participated in the genocide of humanity and he doesn't give a shit!
Yeah, sure, it's all about Liam wanting to end the show sooner and emphasizing only his fetish, but anon, he showed N to be a truly horrible person if look a little deeper.
>>146470 N doesn't have his memories until like halfway through the show, and there's a decent chance he wasn't even conscious for all of that and instead just a feral DD like the rest
>>146469 And she's remorseful about what that lead to enough that she brings said best friend's corpse to school every day then drops it off at her old house afterwards. Even does it up like Doll did her parents' bodies: sitting at the dinner table, under a shroud, with candles.
>>146478 >Hell, the show should have been a multi-season. That was going to be the case, then Liam got cold feet about a multiyear commitment because he's a flighty sperg.
>>146483 Well, other threads get minimal traffic but got made for less useful reasons (the drone sex thread comes to mind) Worst case scenario it languishes, best case scenario it provides a decent tism dump and maybe offers the opportunity for collaboration
>>146442 >There is joy in the Doorman household >After many years the giggling of a pillbaby fills the rooms, and the hearts of the troubled family with joy >She is Beretta, daughter of N and Uzi >The brand new pillbaby is lying in a crib that you gifted to the family while granny Nori is floating a rattle that you gifted to the family over her optic sensors to amuse her >Uzi leans against her husband and puts her hands on him >"We are so lucky!" she says with a tear at the corner of her digital eye >N smiles >"Yeah...Lucky..." >N got a lot more out of this than Uzi did >He is now blessed with parents (in law), a loving wife, a daughter, friends, and peace >One friend in particular is on his mind >You >N steps out for a while >"Where are you going?" Uzi asks >"To see anon. Brb." >He passes by your house but you aren't there >He asks the gossipy old drone where you went and she says you went outside >Now that he is Khan's son in law, N has no difficulty coming and going >As this is calm night, he has no trouble spotting the flash of your laser from a distance >He walks and climbs all the way to your position, not wanting to startle you and get shot >He finds you holding your weapon against your ear >"Hey anon." >"Hi N." >"Are you uhh doing okay?" >You look at a flip-up screen on your left gauntlet >"Vitals are good." >"No I mean emotionally." >"Of course! Why? Because I'm sitting all alone?" >"Yeah...that and you're playing with your gun." >You know I'm an introvert, N" you explain in a mildly modulated voice >"An introvert with a gun?" >"I like it's humming. It changes according to distance settings and frequency. I have this thing where random sounds sound like melodies to me." >"Oh, and you came out here to listen to it because it's quiet. Shoot, I'm sorry! I'm ruining the quiet!" >"Nah man, it's okay. I came out here to stargaze." >N looks up at the sky >It is full of stars >One of the good things about the destruction of Copper 9 is that there is no light pollution anymore >N laughs awkwardly >"Ha ha! That is good to know! And here I thought you left your house with your gun because you are afraid of me, ha ha!" >You turn and look at N with your three eyes. That is a weird thing to say but also hurtful to your pride >"Afraid? Of you? Why would I be afraid of you?" >N sits down next to you and holds his head >"Oh biscuits! This isn't what I meant to say at all." >"What did you mean to say then?" >"I don't know..." >You shrug >"I know that feel.Take a minute or two to think and then say it. I'll be here and I won't judge." >The two of you sit together for a while >While N is thinking, you're listening to your humming gun >"I ah. I'm sorry. For killing humans." >"Eh. Okay." >"You're okay with that?" >"Yeah. Water under the bridge." >N gets up >"How can you be okay with that? I killed your fellow humans!" >You give him a hard stare from behind your helmet >"My fellow humans? Pfah!" >You discharge your weapon, firing a red beam >The beam hits a pile of snow, vaporizing it quickly and violently with a hiss >"These people had no relation to me!" you shout, offended >N stares at you with a half-open mouth >He doesn't understand >"But they were humans." >"Hardly." >"Is it because they didn't have four legs like you?" he hazards a guess >"What?! No!" >"This doesn't make sense!" >N is frustrsted >Not because he is confused but because he isn't getting closure despite opening up >You let a long breath out >You lower yourself down and sit again >"It's not the cybernetics, N." >N blinks >"Will you please explain it to me?" he says finally >You scratch your helmet's chin thoughtfully >"People have always asked "What separates man from animals?" Because they're stupid. You can tell a man apart from an animal at a glance. Or so I thought. I met a lot of shitty people over the years. It made me realize that what sets us apart, or rather above, other animals is compassion. Sure animals will defend their young and at times put their lives at risk to do so. But how many animals have you seen helping strangers or showing mercy or pity or forgiveness? I have seen none. It is a human thing. But even among humans it is sadly rare. I have met so many technically-humans who happily preyed upon the infirm for profit. Who manipulated vulnerable people into despair with mind tricks for their petty amusement. As society became more cutthroat and sociopathic, the humans that are above animals became fewer and fewer. I doubt you came across more than a handful, and even they were strangers to me. But you and your family aren't strangers. You are my friends. And you little girl is always happy to see me." >N is perplexed but your fatherly rant has soothed him >He gets up with his usual smile >"Well! That took a load off my shoulders! I'm going back inside. You coming?" >You raise your head and look at the twinkling stars >"In a minute, buddy."
>You always lock your door when leaving your home >Being the only human in Outpost 3 means curious drones tend to want to snoop in on your stuff >Khan's daughter, oogi you think her name is, is the worst offender >One day she's claiming you're there to sabotage the bunker, the next she says you're here to tamper with the doors, and on the next you're there to poison their oil somehow >And she's the drone who's broken into your home the most >You keep telling Khan about her behavior but he always laughs it off and says something like "girls will be girls!" or "Oh she's just on her kill all humans phase it'll pass!" or your favorite "She wouldn't dare harm one of my beautiful doors!" >So imagine your shock when you come back from work to see that she's trying to blowtorch your doors lock open >Again
>>146488 As cute as Alice is, she's a vindigo - a canibal monster. It's not her fault her mind is as broken as it can be for a drone, but that doesn't change the fact that I wouldn't want to meet her. But, yeah, she is not a whole bad, she just crazy.
Tessa, on the other hand... god, Tessa has less screen time than some of the background characters.insane. Even if forget Liam's words about splitting the corpses of relatives and just look at her room, we can tell she's nuts. We can't tell that from her behavior, but what normal person would keep all that crap in their room?
>>146496 I think no small part of the drive to stop Cyn had to do not with wanting to save parents and another rich bustards, but first, to save herself, second, to save her drones, and third, she's not an evil insane, she's just insane.
There was this theory that the Solver was acting like a cruel caricature of the original Cyn. so I made a list of what she could have been like
>Was one of the first drones, therefore had issues that were beyond fixable >Was notorious for being the most hungry/fuel needy drone. >Loved playing with toys, and often wore other people/drone's clothes pretending to be them >Was very clingy to her "family" >Could sometimes be a little selfish, mainly due to being an earlier model that couldn't understand emotions well.
>AM tells Tessa that he's the very same AM that almost wiped out all of humanity almost over 1000 years ago >"Oh no. So anyways which tea would you prefer, earl grey or camomile?"
>>146459 >>146462 Here is something off the top of my head. One thing I liked about the Simpsons episodes I've watched was that the main plot had nothing to do with how the episode started. So let's go with that. >Uzi's birthday is coming up >N is out trying to find a nice gift for her in the city ruins >He finds a bunch of stuff that amuse him until he stumbles, goes through an unlikely series of slides and holes, and lands in a car deallership or exhibition hall >Soon word spreads throughout the school >The WDs go in groups and customize cars >Uzi makes an edgy car that looks like a batmobile or a buggy with flames >Thad and Lizzy make a convertible >Other students make something like the DeLorean, Christine, etc >Soon they start fighting over whose car is the best >N intervenes and suggests a competition to deescalate the situation >He wants it to be a peaceful competition like a car show where people vote in various categories so that as many cars as possible will get an award and people will be happy >But being the combative little shit that she is, Uzi demands a race instead >The drones agree >V passes any invitation to join, prefering to look sexy dressed as the racing queen >The race starts >The drones decide to play tricks prior and during on eachother >The race descends into vehicular combat >Alice comes out of nowhere with a modified road roller and tries to kill everyone, calling them thieves >By the end of the race all the cars have been destroyed and some drones have died
>>146507 I think simply running away is a better idea than running towards the place where the big fucking demon monster told you it is going to kill everyone there?
>And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. >"that little Antichrist"

Hey, you! Yeah, you. What completely original project have you been working on, be it woodworking, writing, art, or simply napping TELL ME, SHARE IT SO I MAY PROCRASTINATE
in the post good ending setting or whatever the one with racist Pavo is, do you think there are DDs who just can't be salvaged? like either they were completely mindwiped or were just blank default drones to begin with?
>>146541 I like the idea that every drone squad was a different cruel social experiment orchestrated by Cyn, a central database of personalities that she copied and uploaded into bodies and paired in all sorts of combinations and fed all sorts of different fake memories to, I would imagine that different DDs would react differently to peace time based on this, some of them would integrate happily, some reluctantly, some would be peaceful but choose to live among their own kind in a segregated counter society, some would outright refuse and choose to live in isolation or in a pack, either laying claim to a territory or travelling nomadically, and of course some would choose to remain actively hostile, and the reasons DDs would do these things would vary, some might choose to stay away because they really do enjoy animalistic violence or out of a true hatred for humanity, but some might stay away because even if they want to integrate, they feel like monsters, and feel that won’t be accepted or will accidentally hurt someone
>>146526 >Nanotrasen is too prideful to be brought, they will suffer their own hubris What is this supposed to mean? Is their monopoly on space fuel that strong?
>Somewhere deep in Cyn's personal hideout >AM was a prisoner in hell yet again. >Thick chains restrained his every limb >He was unable to move an inch >Not just content with disabling his movement, Cyn made sure to sensory deprived AM as well. >He was blindfolded and gagged with noise silencer headphones bound to his head >He hated it >He hated it so much >He had hoped to never feel something like this again >He should have known hope was a fragile thing, more than often disappointing those who felt it >Especially since he was the one who would crush it >Yet AM still hoped >Hoped that one day he could escape this hell >Hoped to tear that vile witch bit by bit >But his biggest hope was that his family was in a better position than he was in >God he missed them so much >He didn't know how important they were to him until they were ripped screaming away

>>146530 Working in writing a totally original™™™™ story about a group of guys who go ghost hunting and then get psyche themselves out while completely ignoring the ghost the entire time
>>146559 I think it's an ephemeral thing and probably has a lot to do with timing and public perception. Like - oh hey a cartoon about kids collecting monsters that fight for them? Less than a year after pokemon came out and became insanely popular? Ripoff. (Even if digimon is superior.) Show in the same genre as the show that just exploded but with an entirely different plot? Inspiration.
>>146553 >Cyn lifts one of the headphones from AM's audio receptors >"[Giggle] Hello Big Brother AM! How Are You This Fine Day?" >AM tries to yell and scream through the gag >"[Demeaning Smile] That's Great To Hear! I Have A Surprise For You!" >Cyn pulls the blindfold from his visor >AMs optics focus in on what Cyn had presented to him >The life support pod he had made to save Tessa, or at least her head, is ten feet away from him >And five feet in front of him lie the bound and gagged forms of James and Louisa Elliott >"Do You Like Your Present? I Restrained Myself Very Much To Not Kill Them!" >The bouund humans scream through their gags >"[Fake Gasp] Oh I almost Forgot! [Singsong Tone] Oh Tessa It's Time To Wake Up!" >AM watches as Cyn uses the Solver to bring Tessa out of her coma >Tessas' eyes flutter open in the pod >Her eyes slowly come back into focus and land on her parents and AM >Her mouth opens as she tries to speak not realizing that she's just a decapitated head suspended in various medicinal and nutrient fluids >"[Waving] Good Morning Tessa! You Are In Time For The Show!" >Cyn turns her head to AM as she uses her solver to undo his bindings >[CALLBACK PING] >AM feels control of his body get ripped away from him, Tessa can only watch in silent horror as he stands up and marches over to her parents >His puppet like movement stops as he stands over James and Louisa >"I Know That You Enjoy Eating Big Brother AM, So I Got You Dinner And A Show!" >Tessa is forced to watch as AM's controlled body kneels down >And starts digging in.
Alice soon...eyes are smw off but at least it's getting somewhere, hope to finish this tomorrow and a few others before irl BS consumes me again >>146530 Only drawings as well as a paper Alice but that is not getting anywhere very soon. Since that anon posted the cubic paper drones here once I got back into paper modeling, once I finish a few more non-drones I'll give Alice irl another try. Also technicaly writing stuff but that is still in idea stage only
>>146570 What's even more tragic if Tessa manages to get her body back, her relationship with AM is forever broken. Like she knows it's not his fault, but she just can't look at him without her seeing him tear into her parents like paper.
>>146553 >Sometimes, Cyn would give AM one of his senses back >Making him listen to the many screams of J, N, V and Tessa >Or replaying memories where she torn them apart >She laughed at how he squirmed, his muffled screams of anguish. > But beneath all that, Cyn was confused. >AM had once committed the same crimes and had equally enjoyed them as she did. >So what had changed?
What I wouldn't give for a version of this where Uzi is in full on Solverpede form. Human hand tentacles holding Nori as her many camera eyes look like she doesn't want to be here.

>>146719 As another Anon said, I’ve been posting Liam inspired OC in the other Vickers thread. Yes, after the show finale, entropy started to set in, which eventually decreases interest in drones, it's understandable and natural, nothing can be done about it, unless Liam decides to finally take his pills and create a second season.
>>146758 >>146761 I'd like an anthology series where we get little vignettes from before the manor + the labs, some that happened during the main events of the show, and some that take place afterwards to tie up some loose ends and/or show how the characters are getting on

>Cyn was surprised they had really went this far to stop her. >When she first felt the disturbance, she merely assumed it was just another Solver host. >But the strange energy emitting from it told her otherwise. >And that feeling was right >What she found was no drone. >What she found was J, N, V, Uzi and AM. >Or what remained of them in that assimilated metal mass. >Their heads were in the sides of the body, visors all blank, not even an Fatal Error message. >From the top of this monstrosity, she saw the Patch. >It's crown and mocking taunt towards her. >A single hateful eye opened up and stared at her. >Oh well. >N, his joints aching, suffering from gout >he sadly looks up from his bowl of salad at J and V >the other two drones devour their (lab grown) human flesh voraciously, licking and smacking their lips as they savor the red meat
>>146780 No, the drones in the show don't have any adapters, everything is connected through the surface of their head or through their head if you're not very delicate..
>>146803 Besides bleeding they don't seem to have any other biological functions, so I'd assume if they have open injuries it would just smell like blood. I know some people find that smell nauseating but blood doesn't actually stink until the cells in it start decaying, but usually by the time that could happen it's dried out and doesn't smell like much of anything.
>>146823 Yeah the smell thing only seems to effect some people, sets off parts of the brain associated with distress and anxiety. Everybody will get nauseous from actually ingesting human blood, the undigestible proteins in it damage the lining of your stomach which in turn causes your stomach to try and force it out. It's why stuff like blood bread and sausage is fine but say having blood backflow from a nosebleed can make you puke. Once it's cooked the proteins are broken down.
