Are Dumbing of Age threads on regular /co/ just straight up banned now? I haven't seen any for days, and they used to be pretty regular. I know some people were getting banned for posting screencaps/greentexting quotes from DoA's comment section, which seemed rather excessive, so I guess an outright ban isn't too farfetched.
>someone made a hate thread for a thing >I replied, talking about the plot and the characters >got called a faggot for "liking thing enough to remember characters' names" Not complaining, just...... it literally never happened to me or anyone in the 8 years I remember. Unless I missed something.
>you liked it so much you even remembered everyone's names? >what a faggot! WEIRD, MAN. WEIRD.
>just literally saying GG gets you banned from /co/ for FREE Jesus christ they are affraid of a word even when it's literally the context of the thread and person you are talking about this is fucking insane.
>>406109 Probably shouldn't have been talking about gamergate on a comics and cartoons board. Ignoring things you don't like instead of responding to them means less of the thread is taken up by dumb off-topic garbage.
>they are affraid of a word even when it's literally the context of the thread and person you are talking about this is fucking insane. Why do you think gamergate took off in the first place? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Streisand_effect

>>406164 I personally have no idea what he's talking about, but if it starts a political shitfight, then it'll have to go to the containment thread. GG gets moved pre-emptively because it is a guaranteed thread destroyed.
>>406168 >I personally have no idea what he's talking about, but if it starts a political shitfight, then it'll have to go to the containment thread. There's no such thing as a containment thread. Monstrous human being like Slowpoke or his gg buddies post the same shit across all threads and all boards, they're just slightly more veiled.
>>406188 If you're gonna post anyway, would you mind cleaning up the thread? Off-topic harassment of me in any thread I post in gets old quick, it would be nice if it stopped happening.
>>406208 Using a simple formula is not how to troll properly, and I say this as an Australian. If you troll casually or occasionally, it will do fine for you; guaranteed to get a few solid replies and very effective near the top of a thread. But if you want real (You)s and deep reactions, you will have to be a bit more agile.
Try a good old "[thing's main feature] is the absolute worst excuse for a [feature's role]. Only an autistic degenerate could possibly see anything [common description of feature] about it." Naturally, try and adjust to the subject if more information is known, to make it hit deeper.
eg. Mister Twister's monthly ""revelations"" are the absolute worst excuse for a plus4chan post. Only he could possibly see anything enlightening about them.
Naturally, it works better among fandoms. Bonus points if its a waifu.
>>406209 >Mister Twister's monthly ""revelations"" are the absolute worst excuse for a plus4chan post. Only he could possibly see anything enlightening about them. This but actually.
>start thread on /biz/, halfway down mention a specific cadetship I'm aiming to apply for >someone already in that exact position finds the thread 4chan: bringing people together.
>OP makes a thread saying Marvel movies are just for normies reeeeee >reply saying they're retarded >I'm the one who gets temp-banned
So is there just an anti-Marvel mod on /co/ or what? It makes zero sense how you'd leave MARVEL NORMIES GET OUT REEE but take issue with calling out the post as idiotic.
>>406309 I'm just glad that I don't have to filter 15+ threads on /tg/. Not that I really main /tg/ any more, but I might go back there now that /qst/ exists. I'm also happy that sup /tg/ is on the ball and is archiving /qst/ already. As long as the transition to /qst/ doesn't prematurely kill JACKQUEST I'll be happy.
who the heck even asked for Quest? /qa/ is flooded by people who want cape or movies to get their board (I for movies), never saw any real interest in Quest.
>that RWBY/RT general got banned from /co/, despite, apparently, new content coming from RvB and RWBY >threads for new show on Nick, The Loud House, are already getting heavily moderated, despite the show not having even been aired yet, but airing in a day >both are now forced to go to /trash/
>>406355 a decent familly show with girls but since it's not Disney or CN some false flagger post porn so people can say it's "the new mlp" (don't expect subtlety from /co/mblr, and someone bf is clearly in the mod teams to clean it up for xe.
>>406355 It's a new animated Nick show about a boy and 5 older sisters and 5 younger sisters. Started garnering attention after some shorts and episodes were posted online and were well received, and with it having 10 different girls of varying ages, it was pretty much guaranteed to have some people talking about it. >>406356 Strangely enough, as cuckoo as this is, it does always seem to be Nick shows that get the short end of the stick before most other shows. Might be coincidence, or might just be because Nick shows really do have the most 'eccentric' fans, but there's seemingly something there.
waifufags doesn't suddenly make a subject taboo though. If you really only can complain about them then you probably don't care about the subject yourself.
>>406424 Waifufags don't make it taboo, but they're as bad as shippers when it comes to taking over threads. It does tend to steer away actual discussion about the show.
>>406453 Yeah, but when 90% of the posts in a thread are about shipping/waifu shit then there's not much in the thread that interests me. Sorting through the trash just isn't worth it. Which applies to 4chan in general really, but it's even worse than usual in threads about certain shows/games/whatever.
a fucking week of ISP range ban when I'm not personally banned I fucking hate that shit I don't even know whose fault is it, 4chan or my ISP sending me to a shitty proxy for some reasons
>>406494 >where OP makes an outlandish claim, and a stream of reaction faces follows Yes, but I doubt it's often to harvest reaction images. It's probably for trolling or entertainment.
>it's a "everybody claim to hate activision but /v/ currently shills 50 overwatch, wow and other activision products" day Is it me or mods are super lazy recently?
>>406547 >usually it links you the post you were banned for which is my problem. I got banned, but I didn't break a rule, and it's not about any of my posts. So the only official reason is that he was triggered like a bitch. Which doesn't even make sense considering I have been careful about my posting these days, since I was banned not that long ago.
>>406629 What is up with that, anyway? Why do people constantly go into /co/ filename threads just to complain that /v/ does it better instead of just going to /v/?
>>406920 >>406941 More specifically, it's a scene from JJBA part 5 where a character, Bruno, threatens the main character, Gio, by calling him a liar. Thus licking him on the cheek to make the situation more uncomfortable. It's a fucking weird moment but that's jojo in general....
I'm pretty sure the image is based on the much more well-known scene of Cartman licking Scott Tenorman's tears rather than some obscure manga-only scene in Jojo's that hardly anyone outside of /a/ knows.
Speaking of posting, does anyone know how to access old threads that have fallen off on +4? I remember being able to do this with old versions of the site
>>406979 There is no place that archives plus4chan threads and posts. The last two versions of plus4chan and it's posts and threads were locked and archived and you could access them with the old plus4chan links but they no longer work after plus4chan went down in February and whoever is running plus4chan won't fix anything and won't bring the archives back.
>>407132 >What imageboard is that from? 7chan /fur/
>he doesn't have adblock I do, but I disable it on 4chan (although I may need to add it for those ones) I also disabled on YouTube, but I think I blacklisted the server in Hosts.txt and cbf undoing it, even when trying to watch ads to support an good artist.
>>407139 >Just disable AdBlock every time you want to support a particular creator. Re-enable when you're done watching. Pretty much what I have going, but before I had AdBlock I used the system hosts file, essentially hard-blocking my access to all listed links. I added a massive list (someonewhocares.org/hosts/) that has a ton of shock sites, sites that are known to spy, ads, etc. (mostly malicious, intrusive or ad sites) that happened to include Google ad services. So I've disabled those lines so that I can use adblock to temporarily allow Google ads.
Also, you made me go to /v/ for first time in years. I didn't realise how much of a /b/-grade shithole it really was. I thought /b/ 2.0 was an exaggeration.
A third of the top ten posts weren't /v/ related. However, there was some pretty funny shit among the rubble.
>>407199 Let me rephrase what I said so you may better understand.
Your repeated posting of your lack of fore-knowledge and bewilderment of the culture of the website 4chan, specifically the videogame board /v/ as of late, shows that you are are not versed in the ways of the posters there. With such evidence I am led to believe that you have not observed /v/ long enough to have witnessed the common mannerisms there.
>stumbled upon a "Kadokawa Conference thread" on /v/ >expected lots of Japanese video games >got /v/ raiding a bunch of nico live streams I was wondering if something... magical was going to happen after the first day of E3. Magical in a special kind of way. And I guess I was right.
>>407298 /v/ is honestly complaining that the new Quake is gonna be multiplayer-focused. It's just a bunch of braindead monkey children spewing memes and hatred.
>>407308 As much a /v/ is, well, /v/, I still prefer the prevailing pessimism that leads to an environment where you have to fight for ever mentioning anything is a good game. Or questioning if the hype is worth it. Well, most of the time once the initial release date is farther in the past or the game becomes popular... But it's /v/, so yeah.
>>407477 I don't think MurrA's have anything to do with it.
I think it's the new form of "virgin". It's not just "you don't get laid", but with the "another dude it banging your gf, snd you don't get laid" on top.
And since that is a verbal attack on someone's ability to get laid, it works wonders on actual virgins (of which online there are plenty).
>>407477 >>407477 >>407478 >>407479 >>407480 1) MissedTwist, you are the epitome of "lurk moar" 2) I don't keep up with MRA/Feminist bullshit but I hear it daily, so I can't say whether it really matters or not. "cuck" is the new "beta", but with the tone of saying "faggot". This isn't new any more; people were calling moot a cuck regularly while he still worked there. 3) Who the fuck says "MurrA"?
>>407478 Huh, I never thought about it that way. It really is the new "calling someone a virgin" thing. I just think "Cuck" just sounds so stupid, though I suppose that's why it caught on.
>>407526 Speaking of it /pco/ seems alot more like that than I remember it being, its basically all little girls all the time over on that part of the site.
Why the fuck are there 2 +/pol/ threads. One is more than enough. I don't care if you are salty about a dump troll opening post, it's a fucking opening post. They have little effect on the thread they contain. AND IT'S A FUCKING +/pol/ THREAD, nothing but trolling and badmouthing go down in those threads. A non-troll OP is gonna change nothing and all you did was make TWO threads for people to shitpost in. For fucks sake.
>>407820 >"Jesus christ kill yourself you toxic tasteless fuck" >why did i get banned? Try contributing to the thread, newfag. Explain how he is a toxic tasteless fuck.

>someone makes a post about how Sym-Bionic Titan was a waste of time and resources >I reply, giving the poster a (You) >my post is so terrible it deserved to get deleted Sure, feeding the trolls is wrong, but many many things are wrong, and posters do those wrong things all the time, and don't get warned.
>>408451 For fuck's sake........ thought if that flied over there, it might not be OBSCENE....... if any mod has a problem with that brilliant South Park reference, please, feel free to delete the post.
>>408465 What makes you think I didn't mean that? I don't know, I was laughing at the thread so hard, I forgot it was technically spoiler-worthy. Just didn't take it seriously.
>>408494 Don't forget: >my browser >>> your browser >my favorite programming language >>> your favorite programning language 25% of /g/ is "my [variable] >>> your [variable]" 25% of 4chan is "my [variable] >>> your [variable]"
I have seen it many times. No matter what the board, when people start to simply dump cat GIFs, everyone becomes nicer and the amount of disgusting posts diminishes.
>>408649 The fact that you think that thread is in any way noteworthy and needs to be shared with peers says more unflattering things about you and your mental state than I could ever hope to come up with myself.
>it's yet another this thing is shitty now and it was perfect then whining thread/comment/convo I'm getting so fucking tired of the internet as a whole.
Posting +4 wam because why not. (Warning: /cod/ loli in pic)
>person posts herm porn in /pco/, gets reported >delete image only another job well done >image didn't actually delete, became permanently full sized instead (like >>396514 ) It's A Feature™
>>409006 Some people are actually intent on getting furry porn on /co/ (instead of looking elsewhere like normal people) by making tangentially related threads, and then begging for porn non-stop.

>>409006 >planet Dolan threads gets inmediately deleted on /co/ Good. That guy is fucking cancer. The cat is the only notable thing to come out of the channel, and that's only because I'm a furfag.
Why does he use Dolan as a mascot anyway? I think that kind of perverse irony (putting Dolan in a kids show) is beyond his intelligence, so maybe he just doesn't know.
>>409020 I dispute. With Dolan, there's nothing to talk about but smut. With Prequel (and probably Poppy), there's actual discussion: they are legitimate webcomics with a legitimate stories and characters. And when it goes off topic (hiatus syndrome like a motherfucker), it's not usually about smut.
If people want to post Prequel, Gumball, Loud House or Zootopia porn on /co/, redirect them to their respective /trash/ threads.
>desuarchive is down Not a prob- >no other archive for /co/, apart from archived.moe Well, I guess it's not too b- >and search isn't enabled for /co/ FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK
>getting mad at videogames >want to vent my anger on /v/ cause that's the only thing that place is good for >4chan is down again >nowhere to direct this anger toward Fuck, I just wanna shitpost about shitty games being shitty.
Out of curiosity, are you referring to the Hilloli thread, the Fuchur pedophilia stuff or the "SJWs are making bad pregnancy porn" conspiracy guy? I'm guessing you're in the Ben10 thread.
>>409902 Either or. I'd say any of those is a good enough reason, but added up it just feels like the whole board is turning into a not-so low-key politics shitposting porn thread.
> Also > You guys > Are not understanding > At all why 4chan is bleeding money > It's not /pol/, /b/ or /r9k/ > The boards are shit > But they're low bandwith compared to /wsg/ > Or /hr/ or /s/ or /gif/ > Or the wallpaper boards > /hr/ needs to go > Because /hr/ is a board that people used when they were on FUCKING DIALUP > And has no reason to be in the time where you can grab a 3MB file with any kind of a connection > Even your phone > Within 10 secs max > So seriously as much as I dislike /pol/, that's not the problem > The problem are porn boards > Sorry > If Porn, Wallpaper and Gif boards make up for 50% of bandwith
>>409974 I can see the logic in getting rid of the High resolution board, that it doesn't really provide a necessary function and takes alot of the pie
Personally I would also remove the pair of wallpaper boards but that is just a reaction to looking at the chart and not really seeing the purpose to them either
>>409994 I used to browse /wg/, and its a nice chill board with some great links in the sticky. But, it is a board that can go; the only general thread I remember (post your desktop) is also in /g/.
Snowy's wallpaper collection, and the other smaller one, are great.
>>409974 >guys there are too many images on our imageboards (For reference, this image represents 200K requests/6.27GB transfer over 2 days and is not even a candle to 4chan's military search light.)

>>410021 >/pco/ makes up over three quarters of requests No surprise there.
Is /koba/ related to posting? I can see why banner requests would make /koba/ greater then /baw/, but what else goes there? I swear I didn't check the report queue a thousand times in two days.
Finally, I just looked and http://boards.plus4chan.net/ homepage stats are dead (for me at least).
>>410022 >Is /koba/ related to posting? Not really; it's inflated, though, because every action takes at least two calls to complete, and that includes any action taken through board tools (as opposed to directly using the backend). Half of that is probably me trying to research an IP for previous actions.
1) everyone hates a spammer, as well as the site they spam 2) we will probably just get a bunch of assholes and trolls moving over 3) would we even be able to handle that much traffic??
>>410203 Some people make money off of Youtube views. Many people don't want to give money to people who espouse heinous politics. Different people have different ideas of what's heinous.
It's not some grand mystery or anything. It's the same reason people who are especially concerned about gay rights might be hesitant about eating at Chick-fil-a or people who dislike the things the Koch Brothers do might try (in vain, given how many pies they have their fingers in) to avoid products that are made by one of their companies.
>>410209 >Huh, this guy called Republicans for America put out a new thinkpiece about how evil Dems are! Gee, I don't think I know what his stance is until I watch his video.
>>410209 Personally, I don't watch YouTube diatribes about a person's politics even when they agree with me. The chance that someone lecturing me on YouTube about their political stance is a complete crank who I don't want to listen to is somewhere around 100%.
>>410228 Everything is inherently political because everyone has personal politics. If they put out whatever flavor of garbage and I don't want to give them money, then I'm going to avoid giving them any kind of patronage, even for theoretically 'unrelated" material.
I don't care what Milo, for example, thinks about Dr. Strange or whatever, if he has a monetized channel he's reviewing it on, I'm not watching his review because I don't want to support fucking Milo.
>>410229 >Everything is inherently political because everyone has personal politics. that's pretty wrong though. That sort of reductive logic doesn't work when you consider that humans have intelligence and social rules.
>>410203 >>410207 Just a heads up (despite no-one asking for it), one view is close to worthless monetarily. An average CPM (cost per thousand views) is ~$2-3, so one view is less than half a cent. It's a meaningless argument.
Want to help fund creators? Click our ads. (but don't do it on literally every view or you will probably get them banned)
amazing how, in the current shitstorm that is /v/, I can get banned for "instigating flamewar" when half the threads on the board are currently "my brand win your brand lost". I guess some mods are still triggered by the word "sonygger".
>>410742 As always, it depends on your threads, but I'm an ul/trash/itposter, and I reckon you're wrong.
/trash/ was actually pretty good when it was new, but the autistic sexual-orientation shitposting (eg. futafags, non-futafags, etc.) and that one guy in every cartoon general who spams his fetish often make the place low quality. What's so bad about /co/?
>google makes cute halloween cat >shota and gay posters start derailing, posting irrelevant gay porn and bitching about how it should have been a male cat why
>>410758 Oh of course, that's not the problem. I didn't explain it well.
The character was female (not just shown by appearance, it was confirmed through pronouns as well), and a few people started complaining about how it was totally a guy cat, and when proved wrong, spammed the thread with random, off-topic gay porn. That's not even R63, that's just being autistic.
On a side note about R34, it's annoying to me when an artist obviously doesn't care and makes no effort to capture the character beyond basic appearance. A good character has character.
>>410799 >political hyperbole/flaming >only tangential relevance to conversation >furry thumbnail never helps in my experience 200% asking for trouble, but I personally wouldn't ban. Very lucky to only get one day, usually would have gotten the usual three. Or permaban since you reek of underage.
Are there any mods (read: mods, not janitors) active on /pco/? There is always an issue with two concurrent request threads, as new threads take months to get stickied.
>>411522 For a lot of people it's "stop showing bullshots or won't play". Companies set high standards for themselves and then constantly disappoint people, which has made them jaded about it.
>>411890 >>411891 I disagree. 1) popularity events often end quickly, prompting a significant decline in growth, or even a negative growth. This will definitely happen now that the election is over. Any faggots who just come for the trending drama will leave. 2) growth =/= bad times. Only shitposting boards like /b/, /v/ and /pol/ are affected. 3) those graphs do not represent unique traffic. It could be mostly made up of the same people posting in more threads. Who knows? 4) why even hate phone posters? Is it because they occasionally post big sideways pictures?
>>411944 >What are they shilling for? How is it a bump in a sticky? I think he's talking about the graph; each time there is a sharp increase, he's calling that a bump.
>>412107 Apparently 4chanx and CSS workarounds can be used for (You)s (as the tracking function still exists). There are still dotted lines under replies to you, causing "Give me dots" posts to appear.
What I learned from /co/ in 2016 is that the original anons are gone and now it's filled with kids having his firsts boners with shows like SU and SVFE
>>412629 >The place is just a neo-nazi hub by now. Where are you browsing that makes you say that?
I've only talked to one person who claimed to be NatSoc (it was relevant to the conversation) but he was actually alright and just asking for advice on abstinence.
Oh, and there's this retard I found, but that's different.
I don't know what on earth you are talking about, but if you mean 4chan allowing posts, the whole reason 8chan became popular was that gamergate was not okay to talk about.
Is it just me, or does /int/ just become a shithole every so often for the past few years?
I don't mean "[country] is constantly shitposting" or anything, I mean "there are at least ten /r9k/ posts here that have no reason whatsoever to be in /int/ is this a raid?" kind of stuff.
Oh yeah, just because my post was deleted shouldn't mean that you lose the news about [rs]. Someone made a third party archive acting as a replacement. https://rs.w4ch.xyz
>>414065 >I want to talk about vidya and hear about vidya news >Where should I go? >Think about /v/ >Have flashbacks to intense shitposting >I'm no longer in the mood for anything vidya related
>new Samurai Jack threads >latest episode has little girls raised to be assassins, and Jack saving a family (with a little girl) from getting attacked by robots >all those girls are referred to by anons as "lolis" Is this 4 real? Are the people being ironic?
>>414194 I've seen people seemingly who are seemingly unable get the implications of tagging their art "loli" every time it has a little girl in it, so that's not surprising. Particularly annoying is that since it's on Deviantart/Newgrounds/Pixiv/wherever, I can't ask them about it anonymously, which isn't ideal when I can't tell how defensive they'd be toward someone questioning their inelegant use of terminology.
>desuarchive is down again I am getting pretty fed up with that lot falling down on the job. If they weren't the only place with a full archive of /co/, I'd have given up on them a year ago.
>>414205 I think it's wrong to rely on archives too much. Kind of defeats the purpose of imageboards, and just making a new thread after the old one died.
>>414208 I personally love archives (especially good for finding SAUCE) but Twister brings up a good point, and one moot has talked about himself. Part of the original attraction of 4chan was its ephemerality. whatever you said was gone the next day, so it didn't matter. Another thing about that was it made the site more addictive and energetic; you couldn't miss the next thread, or else it was gone forever.
Now, 4chan is increasingly comparable to sites like tumblr and reddit. It has lost a bit of what made it unique.
>>414273 a game webcomic is still vidya related. Way more than those eceleb reblogs, or sale charts wanking threads. As long as it's not porn or whatever there's no reason to filter by an arbitrary "quality" level.
>>414347 [not him] It's not what is in the picture, it's what the picture encourages. You know as well as any of us that pictures of animals with tits are autism bait, and some idiot/s will start posting cheesecake and get the thread hammered.
Essentially a mod/janitor didn't want to deal with that shit and felt it was ok to attempt to prevent the potential storm that follows.
>>414363 the hide function isn't there to allow the equivalent of a spam bot to take control of a board. You faggots deserved permaban for that shit. Stop victim blaming, retard.
Image:149074747100.jpg(187kB, 609x900)this is what Bunnicula fans think about constantly.jpg
Started poasting in 2008. Were there any cases before, of threads "about the show" actually being about a waifu all the time? http://boards.4chan.org/co/thread/91017213
>>414369 That's why I also recommended the report button. Replying to the false flaggers/trolls is a bad proposition, as it just gives them more reasons to be obnoxious. I will also say that I am not one of those "faggots" spamming or bumping Samurai Jack threads. I only lurk them and report the ones I feel are excessive.
And Mr. Twist is far from a victim. I know the garbage he posts on /co/.
I should have expected that /mo/ would have been an easy merger. /fap/ on the other hand is horrible on so many levels. And /can/, albeit a good concept, makes the combo way too focused on cute animal girls. Which is fine, but it isn't as fun as /cock/ or /fitlit/.
>>414421 I havent been on 4chan recently because of impending exams, but /co//ck/ was a traditional exchange couple so I'm not surprised it worked. We have history. /fit/ has always had an unofficial list of health and lifestyle related books, so /fitlit/ might be chill.
>>414422 I know /cock/ has been a thing. I was actually in the winter ball thread where /co/ asked /ck/ out. Very adorable and very surprising that /co/ was the lucky chap to land such a beautiful board as their date. /tg/ is kinda the playboy these days and tends to get the best picks now. I was intentionally upset at /cock/ because there are some /ck/ memes that.... um... distasteful. That, and I'm kinda on a diet so having food all over /co/ makes me stupidly hungry.
/fap/ is fashion AND photography, meaning the rich pricks from both boards are all in on place.
/mlpol/: one group that like to act like horse asses and the other group that enjoy staring at horse asses. It's a winning combination. I had to get that out there.
The only bots I know of that are still going on 4chan is the cunny bot in /tv/. There's a group of pedo script kiddies that organize on 8chan and the deep web.
>>414495 install Grease monkey and the 4chan X userscript to force the v1 text captcha. I had to start doing that because the image version because nearly unusable.
>Go to /co/ >episode of Loud house has a vomit quote >joke about it in a thread >get banned for "off topic" The mods don't even watch what they are supposed to moderate, this is embarrassing.
The mods on 4chan really are getting retarded about this nonsense.
On /tg/ I responded to a Chris-Chan OP image with a chris-chan related comment, and I got banned as well as the post deleted while the thread itself was not.

How to shitpost on /v/: >choose a random ass image >spend roughly 15 seconds to write a sentence that somehow connects your image with videogames Done!
>>414560 >spoiler Don't worry about it. I'm pretty sure you, Alpharius and I have a third share each in the SYM thread. Gotta keep this board alive, apart from the pol-SYM thread.
>>414598 This is the /co/ thread started at the same time, only it lived past 500, and died of natural causes: http://boards.4chan.org/co/thread/91848688
I wanted to post to moose asking him to add those two banners from a year ago that never got added to the database, but I can't see the banners thread any more.
This is a advertisement. This is a locked sticky advertisement. You know I've see arguments about the Wendy's mascot not being /co/ related because it's just "shilling" for the corporation. This ad would better be stuck in /cgl/ than /co/ despite being /co/ because of it selling comics. This is a petty bullshit post on my part, I know. Just venting.
>>414628 This...is a pointless action. It's /b/ with id....but it's STILL /b/. How is this suppose to help /pol/ when they had to remake /pol/ several times since it's birth as /news/. Hell, WE couldn't have /news/ because it turned into a shit posting hell and had to be burned down. What is this new boards goal...to make /pol/ better more serous board for serous adults?
You're right, it is pointless. It's almost like trying to make (another) /v/ derivative to take shitposting out of /v/, instead of MODERATING THE BOARD.
The fucking captchas are getting more egregious by the hour. It's gotten to the point where I'm spending more time solving captchas than actual typing out my posts.
Is anyone else having problems with the captcha on 4chan at the moment?
Specifically the images you click on to get rid of all *thing* to proceed, when you click them they load out very very slowly then load the next image in equally slowly?
An interesting consequence of the 'fluid identity' aspect of 4chan is that you can be absolutely flaming an Anon and unknowingly be having a civil, enjoyable conversation with the SAME Anon in the same thread. I'm sure it's happened to most of us at least once, whether we know it or not.
That probably couldn't happen on a regular website.
Sorry for spamming this thread, but this I have to ask http://boards.4chan.org/co/thread/94869324
Why are these threads always deleted? I get it, it's a meme. But what's wrong with that? Are memes evil now? Aren't memes supposed to be 4chan's largest export?
Motherfuckers. Bots are copying comments and snippets. I deleted a second one saying "Welcome to /baw/" and some other text I didn't recognise saying something like don't post revenge porn.
This entire thread really: https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/95144158 I got a two day ban for agreeing that the mods enforcement of the rules was inconsistent. They proceeded to delete any posts critical of them with the exception of a few that also made apologies for the mods. They even deleted the post of the guy asking where he could actually talk about comics and cartoons, as well as all replies to him(8chan, here, etc) with the exception of /trash/. You're hearing it here first folks, the /co/ mods believe the best place to discuss comics and cartoons is /trash/.
>>415893 For the record, /trash/ is basically the child of /mlp/x/fur/x/co/. All the traditionally banned threads like Zootopia and Loud House still have regular threads there. I agree that it is a good place to discuss cartoons.
Why is there even a /qa/ board if the mods do what they want and don't care about feedback? It's just another shitpost board that /a/ and /jp/ took over.
>>415990 I don't like /co/ mods honey potting people by deleting legit post they dislike then sending 3 days bans when they complain. Power tripping retards like this is the last thing this board needed.
>>416014 I was suggesting it earlier in this thread, but I use private browsing on this device (I use the history suggestions as shortcuts, and saving new sites inhibits this) so it doesn't save settings.
