The iToddler is an IC imitator, Industry Cuck was a notorious schizo on /co/ who constantly raged over 2000s cartoons, hated cartoon dads obsessively due to his dad leaving him and his mother when he was young, and he had an obsession with 2010 shota's, to the point of making self insert harem RP posts where his self inserts cuck said cartoon dads and screw a lot of 2000's cartoon girls, he also had some weird hatred for Ron from Kim Possible to the point that he pretended to be one of the writers of the show on Reddit and claimed he was supposed to die in the final season.

I'm glad Kageaki's anon joined in on my posting cause he's funny and it made for some really good banter, same with Charles's supporters. I was hoping for him to come back to Elite Eight this year so that narrow loss hurt. I'll probably support him again next year although I don't think I'll do investigations again to keep the campaign fresh.

Threads always go to shit in those hours. Every bad thread you can think of happened around that time of the day.

Don't give Isaac a bad name by associating him with this whiny doomposting. It happens every tournament. A shit thread happens in the dead hours because no one but the funposters is awake, then some butthurt campaigner starts going on about how it's totally because their pick lost and it's all over now. The problem with this outcome is that a good chunk of people might side with John just because Garcia lost to Demi-fiend in Round 4. Yes, it makes an interesting story arc, but not wild on the finals being affected that much by bracket luck. Obviously I wanted Wario to win but I'm kindof relieved to be desu, I went into FIVE tournaments this year drawfagging and I'm worn out. I made at least 30 pictures for this tournament alone. I'm still making stuff for Eggman since I wanted him to win 2021 and want him to win 2023 but it's not as "serious", I can relax and not really have as much of a stake in the race.
Plus I'm enexpectedly having a christmas party at my house tomorrow and I would feel horrible having to drop out for my main on the finals, the most important and memorable round

Wario winning LB would be pretty sweet if only so he has an actual title instead of just "Elite 8"

WAIT
FUCK
If Nightshift KNOWS that this won't be the last round from the very beginning, before we even get a pattern for the two votes on loser's bracket/crown steal
Does that not mean we have hard, definitive proof, that the Nightshift DOES in FACT, personally RIG these, since he "knows" what should be an unknowable answer which is the election outcome?

Is that why in queen Balls never gave us a form answer for grand finals, told Nightshift to fuck off and just used his trip to say that Curly won 1st and Ammy won 2nd without an actual voter answer because that's what would have obviously made the threads the happiest?
Could that have been why he left so unexpectedly, the two had a falling out but Balls wanted to try to at least preserve the fun for people not in the know?

I don't think NSA wants a loser's bracket or grand finals shit so much as he's autistic about respecting each tournament's uh "culture" and wants to make sure everyone's happy with how it play outs. People have been tossing around a loser's bracket for a few years now, but it seems it only gained real support after Battler lost. Also, if NSA wanted to rig for his picks or just to cause the most chaos, he would've done it by now. He doesn't show us the exact number of votes now, so he's obviously using it to get the results he wants, even though most of the time the results are the opposite of what he supposedly wants. What are people going to say if Battler loses or the crown steal vote doesn't go through?

I think you have to be this (and of course massively autistic so you don't get social cues) if you're going to run this complicated and high level of an event. The original Ms /co/ hoster and Stats were normal and noped out when it became so chaotic and violent against them they couldn't take it, and someone like NSA is the only one who putting up with the shit is worth it
>>73689
Mr /co/ is smooth because they are the chillest of the major tournaments and always have been. There's probably 60+ characters who could win everyone would be happy with. I don't think it has anything to do with host preference (which this is the first I'm hearing about)

He doesn't want to host all 4, only Mr. /co/, but I think at least as far as /v/ goes (since he's admitted he doesn't know shit about gaming) he should cut his losses and let someone else just figure it out on their own instead of doing the one-year trial.

>>73687
He was open to the idea and put it to a vote and respected the results. That just goes back to what I asked: if he controls every aspect of this tournament and just wants to rig it so his picks will win/he wants to cause chaos, how come so far he's respected the results that go against that?

>He was open to the idea
He was too open. There are plenty of rulefag things he could've polled but he did that in particular when there was little vocal interest in it.
>how come so far he's respected the results that go against that?
That's what the issue has been. Firstly he tried to sneak the LB idea as a yes in ms. /co/ until the other host called him out on the results, then he tried applying a king vote to queen, then when queen voted no to crown steal he decides to poll crown steal in king, NOW evidently considering that the tourney's have different voterbases.
Also he's made statements before about how the tourney isn't a popularity contest and is mainly about engagement. In all he seems pretty bias about the idea.

Again, if he wants a crown steal so badly, why hasn't he just rigged for it? And if he doesn't care about three out of four of the tournaments, why would he keep putting it up for a vote? The only answer is that he wants to tanks these tournaments, for some fucking reason, and that's just stupid.

How do you know if NSA is or is not rigging?
I don't think he is anyways but by pushing something so much a wording it in a way to appeal to the common thread crowd (especially the kov 2022 crowd) he evidently really wants to push something.
And why he keeps being a formal host the answer's already been given, cause he's a control dick and an autist. Him not caring about the other three isn't headcanon, he's literally said that.

1. Ten times better in basically every fucking aspect. It is actually impressive how much better this tourney is compared to that, ESPECIALLY THE FINALS.

2. In my opinion it has tied King /v/ 2021, if not suprassed it. This might be the closest the tourney has ever had to being the best of the best.

3. Easily the best one in this year.

It was an improvement, although that's not hard to accomplish. Grimm was lower on my radar to actually win out of the Elite Eight, but he still deserved the win.
>Where do you place it compared to other Kings tourneys.
Thus far, it seems the odd tournaments fare better than the even ones. 2021 is still the best year, especially with some senses of deja vu this time.
>Where do you place it among the other tourneys this year.
Mr. /co/ was the best one, no question. I feel Queen COULD have taken the edge had we not gotten all the mixed bracket drama. Ms. /co/ was alright, but definitely hurt by how many votes panned out + the email drama.

And besides (spoilers), the final boss battle of BS2 is Grimm teaming up with the people he met and bonded with along the way after hours upon hours of solo fights. Unlike BS1, BS2 has no companions, and having them come back to fight the big bad together is a great feeling.

The more I read Ammyfags' posts, the more of an impression I get they have the thinnest skin and see their pick as some sort of untouchable holy cow. Going by that whole autistic Erika post, apparently more than one guy was obsessing over the muzzle art. For fuck's sake, there are tons' of OC of various picks killing and raping each other, but apparently one fucking drawing that doesn't even have that is "going too far"? Apparently, this irks you so much that you feel the need to play internet detectve to expose and cancel an artist. And for WHAT? For wrongthink and daring to make anything against your pick? Do you realize how petty and pathetic that makes you look?

I seriously want to ask some of you guys, where do you think you are?

And for the Wuya/Midna/Wesker/whoever else drawanon, you shouldn't feel bad over a funpost drawing you made, which is completely normal tournament culture by the way. Don't let the pissy faggots bully you into regretting anything.

I actually thought these guys were being ironic until the doxxing part. At that point, my brain actually went AFK trying to figure what the fuck was going on.
"Ammyfags" I thought were just a slang used like everyone else when there is competiton, like Geraltfag and Hunterfags but these actually are deserving of being called faggots.

How the fuck do you actually get THAT personal with a fucking dog? I played Okami as teenager and I loved the game, but I never felt inclined to feel so personally attached as if it is family being in danger. It is a fucking fictional character, being drawn with a muzzle, A MUZZLE, it is not being drawn getting raped or gored, it is simply art depicting a dog with a fucking muzzle.
I know this is such a retarded case to comment but I understand and don't engage in dramas where there is conflict with somewhat reasonable cause, because I find it childish. But this is such a extreme case of a petulant manchild getting angry over a fucking muzzle drawing that I genuinely cannot deny myself over commenting over it.

If I knew how to draw I'd make ten fucking muzzle drawings of Ammy just to spite this cunt.

I'm an Ammyfag who didn't like the drawings but
>I've seen way worse across all tournaments
>There are TWO fucking images and they're very easy to filter
>I am pretty sure it's just one or two really sensitive Ammyfags throwing a fit and dragging this out because the reaction from most other anons has been reasonable
>alternatively (but unlikely) it's a psyop from anti-Ammyfags
Honestly the thing that sucks about this is that the artist might be a prominent drawfag who has some very minor sway in the tournaments, especially because the anons making this into a bigger deal than it needs to be and are handing them and other anti-Ammyfags fuel for 2025. Get ready for lots of "A MUZZLE?!?!AIIEEEEEEEEEEE-" posting, I guess. Like fucking draw Ammy breaking out of the muzzle, she's a goddess for christ's sake.

I will say a lot of these were big enough to not matter, BUT we don't know the full amount of Discord voters. Let's say it was 50, with maybe a jump for the last couple rounds.

>he still beats Sephiroth
>he still beats Cortex
>he DOES lose to Jacket
>he still beats Spy
>he likely beats Spy
>he likely beats John Ward
>he likely beats Eggman unless it was a huge jump

The Jacket match could be iffy, but for what it's worth it may not have been THAT crucial overall. Still a shit revelation.

Yeah, I think this is looking like it didn't impact the results THAT much. The only match that might have been robbed was Jacket vs. Grimm. Now did Eggman really lose by that much? Likely not, but 58% is a steep bar to overcome. Thinking back to how Shirley got rigged, and yet it only took Fang from 57% to 54%.

I investigated the discord server and the rigging doesn't seem to have been that early.
The earliest seems to be around the semi-finals which means Jacket vs Grimm was actually 100% legit.
I rounded up the total people that were active in the King /v/ discussions it rounded up around 23-25 people.
So even if we doubled the amount, Grimm would've still been victorious against John Ward and Eggman.

But this doesn't matter, the damage has already been done.
The reputation this character once had is fucking annihilated.

>Grimm vs. John was 395-373, or 51.4% for Grimm
>Grimm vs. Eggman was 549-430, or 56.1% for Grimm

In short, it would have had to been a bigger chunk to swing either.

As one last aside, Black Souls is probably never getting a winner again regardless of this happening. King is a no-go, and Alice was the only super serious pick in Queen. Eggman lost his second chance, yes, but the margin made it seem questionable the Discord actually did him in. He could have very well lost to John Ward as well.

In short, this probably won't matter going forward.

Alright, from what we've gathered information here:

It didn't start until Semi-Finals as the first polls were shared on 8th of december, which meant it was the Semi-Finals.
There are three main figures here to count.
Lowball: 23-25
Midball: 50
Highball: 79

Even with these figures Grimm still would emerge victorious against both eggman and john ward on each scenario. The only case would be if we take a really extreme case and say it was around 100 people that voted, only then would Grimm lose against John Ward but still not against Dr Eggman.
