Alright Henchmen, gather round. After that nearly averted disaster in the first round, I'm not taking any chances. I'm calling for all of you worms to get to the polls this instant and vote my wife and I to victory like your wings depend on it! Because, guess what schmucks, they are.

Sealab was dangerous, but I feel slightly better about our odds against a couple of out of date fossils... wait, is the gumball machine even really that old? He sounds, I don't know, mid 30's, early 40's? More like our age really, and I'm sure as fuck not old. I'm in the prime of my life, a supreme specimen of butterfly youthful vigor, aren't I Henchmen?!

Eustace's credibility will be easy to ruin. Someone upload the video of him rapping. You know where to find it. 21, 24, I'm reminding you both to get your shit together on this round as well. 21, I've been made aware the redheaded broad on the team you're facing is a bit of a chubby chaser, and I know in your long, sexless existence a solid 7 or 8 like her who lusts after pot-bellied dorks like you must seem like a Christmas miracle, but this is an order: you are forbidden from sticking your dick in crazy on this one, 21, you are not to consort with the enemy! Remember, there is no greater love than the love you feel for you Cocoon and Monarch. 24 I trust not even those anarchist bitches find you attractive so we're good there.

If I win... hmmm, I'm not sure if I just want to take the reverse, taking those two chicks on as new Henchmen. My last experience with female Henchmen left a lot to be desired, my Cocoon STILL has scars from Henchman 69's incompetence. And she didn't even have a pre-existing penchant for blowing shit up, least not that I knew of. I don't know if my lair could take those crazy chicks.

Aha! Okay, here's the deal: if they win, you get my best men as interns. If my minions win, then YOU will officially sign on as a Henchmen of the Monarch. Since you guys are bringing this up, I may as well say it now rather than later while I’ve got my meal break going now.

I’m the one doing the vote deletions. In down time since I’m also busy IRL.

But don’t worry, it’s not for some nefarious, shitty purpose. I’m not that childish enough to inflate my ego with favorite characters over a fucking 4chan tournament of all things.

I’m doing it because I’ve seen clear signs in the spreadsheet of what appears to be voting spam of the same nominees.

From what I’ve seen so far, the rigging I have been dealing with seems to be only coming from one source that has over 13 accounts and/or bots. Because I’ve had to delete around 13 responses a while ago yet the exact same duplicate rows are STILL coming in either that or they’ve caught on

In Round 2 I had to deal with two riggers in particular, one of which was possibly the guy I’m dealing with now. I believe there was some rigging in Round 1, but I was too stubborn and by the time I decided to do something about it, it was too late.

I’ve also particularly noticed 5 exact teams that both of those riggers seem to be spamming in for Round 2 and what characters this current rigger is spamming for now. I’m hesitant to reveal them though.
Specifically because I don’t want people to get the wrong idea and suddenly turn against characters they love just because of one or two guys. Not to mention it could put an unneeded stain on the characters for future tournaments, Tag Team related or no.

I’m only doing this to obvious dupe votes. Everyone else’s votes are more likely to be safe.

I REPEAT, I’m ONLY doing this to “same exact” votes in over 3 rows according to the voter spreadsheet. Chances are I avoided deleting your fair vote on accident so no need to panic.

And before you ask or accuse me, “DID YOU DO ANY VOTE DELETION FOR MR /co/ and /v/?” The answer is no, at least not on my end. Because with Mr /co/ and /v/alhalla having WAY more voters and votes coming in at a MUCH faster rate, it is so much more difficult to tell which votes are from the genuine and which are from some hack(s) trying to ruin people’s fun intentionally or unintentionally. I know Night Shift Anon has mentioned to me about trying to add a “duplicate deletion” program for next year’s tournaments but I’m not sure how that’ll work well without getting innocent votes caught in the process.

I’m comfortable doing the duplication deletions here because, since voting is slower and there’s less voters coming, the obvious riggers are very easy to find. And with all the rigging talk that's happened in /co/, /v/ AND this tournament's qualifiers with the Pumpkinheads, I don't want the riggers here to get an easy win just because it's a less voted tourney.

When I look at the spreadsheet and see over 3 rows of the SAME EXACT voted characters in each response within a short amount of time? That’s when I start getting absolutely suspicious. When deleting, I leave at least three of these same vote rows behind just in case one of them was genuine. But if there’s another incident of over three votes flooding the poll’s spreadsheet then I’m killing all the dupe votes in that second (and oncoming) incident.

I’ll be way busier tomorrow, so I might try to make/get access to Round 4 to put in a poll question and a captcha (the latter assuming if I can manage to get in a working captcha on my own) just in case. While these methods aren’t IDEAL in stopping riggers, they could at the very least make it easier to tell which votes are more genuine.

If you all really don’t like me doing this then I’ll stop for this round. But after everything that’s happened, I’d rather not allow these bitches to ruin the fun for you.

Since Match 3 is a tie and I haven't seen any rules on ties, we'll be going by other tournament rules and allow the higher seed to progress to Round 4.

Good luck to Hench 4 Life next year, even if they technically didn't "lose".
