Danny Antonucci struck a very rare deal with CN because they wanted him to make a show so bad. So he had creative control over the show and some control over the property as a whole which is very rare. He has a veto for new content among other things, so effectively only he could make a reboot of the show. And he said the show is completed entirely and he does not like reboots so it is never happening.
Effectively they cannot make more unless he dies

This is the thing that scares me really, CN would actually do that if the chance appears. I can't imagine how bad the backlash would get especially after giving the original such a perfect ending with the movie.

Welcome back anons! The semifinals have concluded. After weeks of utter mayhem, a heaping of nostalgia, a healthy dose of slapstick, several volumes of screaming, a boatload of conspiracies, and enough cartoony insanity to put even the Looney Tunes to shame... We finally have our grand finale.

>The Eds beat The Warners
An epic cartoon-of-chaos-type battle between the best in the game. The Warners definitely brought a ton of musical talent, some pure, unfiltered chaos, and their classic fourth-wall breaking jokes... But somehow the Eds still ended up winning once again, primarily through brute determination, friendship, and a complete disregard for reality.

>Coast to Coast beat Alien Force
Alien Force proved to be capable of so much in this tournament due to their variety of powers, excellent coordination and teamwork, but somehow the unique late-night absurdity of the Coast to Coast show had just enough oomph to win.

THE FINAL MATCH

>The Eds vs Coast to Coast

The kings of the cul-de-sac verses the most unhinged talk show in the history of animation. Cartoon idiocy verses broadcast chaos. The cacophony verses the pregnant pauses. The scamming against the interview-ing.

Do remember, though, Alien Forces and The Warners are still in the competition to earn that bronze placement!

The final vote is now open, anons. Which trio will be crowned as the very first champions of Trio of /co/? Cast your vote carefully, and I can assure you one of these trios will absolutely bring home a medal!

Relax kid, I'm ok with these results, we suffer more working for Space Ghost and Zorak's victory is also our victory. I can't say the same for Brak though

I would argue the opposite
Main things plaguing this tournaments participation was
1. It was not set up in advance, it only got announced with days to go because of the one fag trying to take over
2. It was super obvious Eds were going to sweep and it was felt the whole tournament

Yeah, that part of the poll wasn't very clear (I don't think anyone who voted "annual" would've jettisoned the E8 rule)

The fact that they were silent for half the tournament really shows they were coasting on that fact.
