I think Queen has the least OC because of a combination of these factors.
>General tiredness. It's in the middle of the mainline tournaments and people may have used their time and energy for Mr. and Ms. already and also to save it for King which is the huge final hurrah of the year for tournaments. Not to mention all the side tournaments.
>Underdogs just don't do well most of the time. Cool characters that have interesting and fun campaigns like Mari and Hat Kid are constant round one jobbers while characters like Roll are major powerhouses literally just because of being an iconic loli. When you have no chance of getting even one round then why bother?
>Massive furry spite, even compared to the other tournaments. There is still not a single true furry character in a Queen Elite 8. Only furry adjacent-characters like Taokaka and Gardevoir were lucky enough to get an Elite 8 spot. In the same year Shadow steamrolled through King Rouge lost against a silent meme pick. Love em or hate em furries are some of the most prominent drawfaggers not just on 4chan but the entire internet, and there's no reason for them to join in on making OC for this tournament.
>A positive one this time, Queen has enough great winners already. When all is said and done Queen arguably has the best roster of winners in the mainline tournaments. With this people may have felt satisfied already and don't have much incentive to campaign for their girl to win since, well they already won, or one of their favorites has already won. I know I felt this way since I got two girls I campaigned for to win the tournament. I don't care who's gonna win next because like I said I'm satisfied already, and yeah I do think Tron is a good addition to the winner's circle.

I've enjoyed a few rounds during this king but I feel like the performance this time needs to be studied.
It's pretty clear that King can be all over the place (people don't speak much about it but this is reminding me of Dante vs Raiden, but with more OC from bot sides) depending on the year, even with a "hype" (garland) or "good" pick, so I think it can recover a little, but the main issue this time was just people dipping immediately after losing and falseflaggers shitting up the thread with AI and other nonsense.

Some Mega man fags don't seem to consider her a MM pick either but more her own category of loli pick. Which is somewhat unfair imo as Rollfags seemed to display a good deal of knowledge of wider MM this year.
She might be screwed because of Tron winning, but then again I give her better odds of breaking the same series lock than most others. Tron despite being the Mega Man winner is not the most popular character from the series, male or female. I think the ideal tourney has always been a good set of characters the board at large actually cares about most winning, alongside good campaigning and thread fun that isn't merely meta fuckery but actually plays to the fact these are liked characters in themselves that people are doing things for.
The best examples imo are about half the Mr. /co/'s (especially 2021 and 2023), arguably last years Ms. /co/, Queen 2022 and 2023 (before the loser's bracket finale thing), and King 2020 and arguably 2023 and last year. King 2025 had too much arguing leading up to it to be called great overall, it basically had to be dragged kicking and screaming in a sense to having a conventional fun ending that wasn't an underdog/fotm/schizo hype winning.

Honestly Arthas is a really fun character if you know how to use him well. He has two whole factions that are really memed in the game (thanks to their quotable dialogue) behind him, he's got the whole controversial story moment for him, he's a villain, he is traditionally cool (before Blizzard decided to try their best to ruin everything about Warcraft), and he's also got the x-factor of being kind of unusual in a tourney.
