The finale you're voting for? For me it's
>Assholish Adult Swim Duo
I went into detail in the last thread about why I like these two as a duo so much, but to sum it up, I love their shows, I love how funny they are as entitled assholes that are hard to take seriously, but can still be very dangerous, and I want to see them finally win and retire after so many years as a big team in tag team.
>Mystery Inc.
Shaggy and Scooby are just that iconic. You probably have met someone you or someone else has called Shaggy before. I also never got into Generator Rex, but Ben 10 is still awesome.

It honestly seemed like for awhile they were cursed to never make elite eight again before this year and there really is nothing wrong with them winning. ...With that said, good game, Assholish Duo, and good luck.

Anyway, I probably should've asked this last thread, but what are your favorite episodes of B&B or Family Guy? Mine are:

>A Very Special Christmas with Beavis and Butthead
A huge time capsule of the 90s, filled with some of the show's best reactions, best jokes, and being surprisingly very comfy. I've always had a soft spot for the episodes where they're just being bros.
>Brian Wallows and Peter's Swallows
It's crazy how such a complete and powerful story can be told in only 22 minutes. One of the show's best songs, some amazing laughs, and of course, some genuine emotional weight. It's not often when an adult cartoon has a gut-wrenching ending like that.

>Cats Don't Dance (Shake and Monarch are cool, but the cats are fun lovable underdogs from a generally underrated film)
>Mystery Inc. (I like Ben and Rex, but you can't beat two classic, lovable characters that will be remembered for generations)
>5th: We're gonna score (iconic and worthy of title)
>6th: Road to Tag-Team (when you get past Seth MacFarlane's soapbox opinions he inserts them into, they're the best parts of Family Guy)

It was a convoluted affair. Going by the wiki
>The final round's results were initially posted as a draw between Explosivas and Cognito, giving Explosivas the victory by seed. Temp claimed Cognito was the victor by alphabetical order though. Temp eventually deleted the thread and reposted the results with Explosivas as the victor, yet the results had bizarrely changed with Cognito having what was assumed a switched vote after the time limit. Temp once again deleted the thread and reposted it with Cognito as the victor once more.
The controversy about the additional vote also had something to do with Temp's computer being behind on time cause (he was still using with Windows XP apparently too).

Here's my list and reasonings
>1. Freelance Police (the perfect winners, classic characters who represent teamwork)
>2. Fake Santas (the standard for crossover winners, good thematic chemistry)
>3. Giant Localizers (respectable inoffensive team and funny as fuck to boot)
>4. Cognito (fine on paper, and feels exactly like a rigged team, but I guess they're technically not. Aside of that, they're oatmeal-tier kind of plain and they feel like the literal whos everyone was worried these side tourneys would bring, they don't even have a presence in the main tourneys)
>5. Goth Chicks (fucking coom meme team that should've never been voted far had the tournament been properly held. Literally only voted because anons want to fuck Loona rather than any actual substance and chemistry the two characters have. Also rigged by /trash/)
You're not wrong by saying Adult Swim is feeling like they're getting a free win out of this, but they're probably above Cognito in case they win.

That is not confirmed until the votes come in. The tournaments can always surprise you. They're called upsets for a reason. I checked and this was also Beavis and Butthead's breakout year. Correct me if I'm wrong, but before 2023, they didn't qualify for 3 years and then lost round 1 to Smiling Friends who then lost Round 2 to Finn and Jake. In 2023, they lost round 3 to Irate Neighbors by 4 votes. Beating Beavis and Butthead doesn't mean you will win. You are making a big deal out of nothing and ruining the fun. Stop it.

Now that I am properly adorned for the Semifinals, and having just finished binge-watching six hours worth of low-quality Youtube tutorials for exotic dances, I am more confident than ever that you and I will crush the up and coming kitties beneath our evil boot heels! Or, like, my boot heels and your... whole bottom cup area.

Together, we shall dance upon their shattered dreams! We shall boogie atop their broken ambitions, and mambo to the sweet serenade of their mournful meowing! The Finals await us, Shake, and no pussy cat, no matter how talented or idealistic, shall wither the storm of the Monarch's rhythmic fury!

Hello and welcome to the semifinals of the exciting Tag-Team tournament! With only one round to the finals, expect to see some of the most fiery battles around as the remaining teams are putting everything on the line for a shot for the crown of this years' Tag-Team! Without further ado, let's see our matches:

At round 1, Cats Don't Dance perform a tap-dance routine as they attempt to distract Assholish Adult Swim Duo. However, neither of them are diverted one bit as Monarch breaks their performance by unleashing a swarm of robotic butterflies to attack them, but Cats Don't Dance managed to counterattack with pirouettes and high kicks as pieces fly all over the stage. Sawyer executes a flawless split jump towards Master Shake who dodges it with his own dance number as he spins around the floor, trying to steal the spotlight. Meanwhile, Danny hitches a ride on Monarch as he takes control of him like an airplane and crashing him towards the wall. Can Assholish Adult Swim Duo find their own rhythm to defeat their opponents, or will Cats Don't Dance leave with another reward for their latest performance?

At match 2, Shaggy has unleashed his inner Ultra Sayian form as he attempts to fight against Ben's Humungousar form in an epic battle between muscles and raw power. Meanwhile, Scoody-Doo attempts to fend off Rex with a series of traps involving pies and springs. but Rex effortlessly dismantles the traps with his mechanical constructs as he chases after the panicked dog. Shaggy unleashes a mighty blast from his hand which slightly knocks off Humungousar off his feet and punches him towards the wall a great crash. However, Ben is still kicking as he charges towards the mighty foe with a fill on confidence! Who will win in this battle of power and smarts?

The remaining four are trying their hardest to reach for the finals, but only two will join in the epic showdown. The question is, WHO? Vote now!

>Yeah you make a good point. And hey, we lost to the biggest icons in the tourney! There could be worse losses.

Let's go grab some smoothies. On me.

>I can go for that. Some chili fries would go great with that.

Shake and Monarch are kino characters, but it's really hard not to vote for Shaggy and Scoob in a cartoon duo tournament. Couple that with I think Shake can still stand on his own in Mr. /co/.

I'm gonna be honest. I don't see Shake ever reaching Elite Eight while Carl is in the running still in Mr. /co/, so I'm partly voting Assholish Adult Swim Duo to give Shake a win finally.

I mean, Carl didn't even get to E8 in 2024 and interest in him seems to be waning now that he's not the first character to beat the runner-up curse like everyone's been saying, but then again Shake had to go up against a FOTM-boosted Joker who came right out of the Gordon match.

On one hand, it's a double package of giving Shake AND Monarch wins. That's a sick deal on top of everything else.

On the other hand, could Shaggy actually win Mr. /co/ anytime soon? I don't really see Scooby getting further than a lucky Elite Eight run, so it's really down to Norville to actually pull off the win in most scenarios. I'm leaning on Shaggy himself having tough odds. He's not quite an obvious powerhouse that could win, and yet he's also certainly not a potential underdog to take the win. Not only would this cover Scooby-Doo getting a win, but you could even argue it might be the best place for it to happen.

I'm voting AASD right now, but either team would definitely warrant the win whether you're looking at the characters, the pairings, or even meta shit.

>Sawyer, your acting this round was superb as always, but I think acting out as the villains like them was a bad idea. We've seemed to fool them into thinking we were serious and we lost?
Well there was nothing to lose. Screwed if you do and screwed if you don't.
>But we only lost by three votes!
I'd argue it would be 20 if we didn't try something.
>But they didn't get our script's whole campaign satire, they kept calling us so-called "out of character schizos".
They didn't like the original ending to Little Shop of Horrors either, nothing to be worried about. They will get the acting one day. Now hun, onward to the quest to bronze. James Stewart was never Hollywood's top star, we don't need to be either.

I'll say two points. One is that much as I love Carl, he was indeed acting a little too silent last year. I've said in the past that the third or fourth round is when that becomes a serious issue, and I do think it was key in Kermit actually beating him. I actually did vote for Kermit after a tough call in that match, so I can speak from personal experience. I really did think Carl would win regardless and was hoping he'd get more active if that did pan out.

The other point? I would have voted for Shake over likely most of the fourth round picks last year. Joker was one of the few exceptions. Not only was it off the Gordon match, but I just love the Joker as a villain. It hurt having to pick only one to finally make Elite Eight last year. Would have gone Spider-Man and Popeye over Shake as well. Courage and Eddy would have been tough calls, but I would have likely gone Shake by a hair.

Carl still was really strong while kind of quiet and did better in round 4 than Shake.
>>177360
Fair points, but I think Shaggy has less in the way of winning and making a comeback as the biggest Scooby Doo rep if he got a really strong campaign going while I think Carl is a really tough wall for Shake to get over no matter how much campaigning he does. Either way, I agree both teams are great
